Again a normal day when you had to go to work. It was a really beautiful day, you could see couples holding hands on the street, wondering what was wrong with you, or if someone loves you. After that incident 2 years ago, when your ex-boyfriend cheated on you with your best friend, you don't trust anyone anymore. You swore you'd never fall in love again, until Choi San appeared in your life.

Choi San known as the millionaire from South Korea who maintains many companies, was the dream of many girls. All the girls you saw in the company were obsessed with him and did their best to talk to him. Unfortunately, you also liked him, even more than you think, but you surely thought that he would never look at you. Even if you were his secretary, you still couldn't do anything. Your feelings were growing more and more making you feel sad all the time. Today you were in the elevator, you were looking in the mirror, arranging yourself a little, then you heard a sound, knowing that you reached the floor where you should be. By chance, you saw that your boss's door was a little open, so you stopped to see what was happening. And there was Nancy, that flirty girl who is always in his office trying to get his attention. You ignored that, and went to your office, placing your laptop on the table. While you were working, you were surprised when it was San who entered your office. Usually when he enters your office, he calls you to get ready for important meetings or he needs help with a project, but today was the first day of the week and you were a little shocked to see him in your office. It was definitely something important. You weren't even paying attention to what he was saying. You were just looking at how he was dressed. That white shirt was a little transparent showing a small part of his abs. His pants fit perfectly, and his thighs looked so soft that you wanted to put your hand on them at that moment. Or maybe it was just in your mind. The thing is that he wanted to do this. He had been planning this for a long time, he just didn't know when, and the right moment was right now. There is no business meeting. Yes, Mr. Park will come, but he will find the right moment to tell him to leave so that you two will be alone. It was too obvious that you liked him, he saw how you were arranging yourself, how you were trying to get his attention, but he was waiting for you to make the first move, but you didn't really succeed. "I want you to get ready at 9 pm, and I will come in front of your apartment to take you". You couldn't speak, in fact how could you speak when this wonderful man was standing in front of you.

Time passed very quickly. You put on the most beautiful dress you had in your dresser. A mini black dress that fit perfectly on your body. While you were looking in the mirror and putting a cute accessory in your hair, a sound could be heard from outside. It was none other than San. The fact that you were looking out the window, how he was sitting in the car. One hand on the steering wheel, waiting for you, while looking at the watch on his left hand, turns your legs into jelly. You gulped and looked at how he was dressed. The same white shirt, only 3 buttons were undone, exposing his neck. The leather pants that looked so good on him, his thighs... You were already staring at him too much, so you took your bags and left. Outside, when you walked out the door, he was there waiting for you. He got out of the car approaching you. After that, he realized what you were wearing. Looking at you from top to bottom, licking his lips. "You look so beautiful tonight, Y/n", You didn't say anything, you just blushed and smiled looking at him.

The car ride was quiet, but after one hour in traffic, you arrived at a restaurant. You got out of the car and you already noticed that the restaurant was not an ordinary one like all the others. It was an extremely expensive one, where you couldn't even afford to eat there, but yeah Choi San was rich. He startled you by putting his hand on your shoulder. You quickly turned around and lost your balance making San grab your waist, looking into your eyes. " Oop- are you okay?" ,you nodded and he helped you . "Shall we go?", he took your hand giving you goosebumps. "Yes", you shyly responded and went inside the restaurant. There he was, Mr Park sitting in front of us. He was extremely gorgeous, but not your type. You bet that every girl were trying to get his attention. " Woah i didnt know you will bring this beautiful girl here". San was angry, he didn't know he would act like this, he was trying to hold back from saying something, but apparently Mr. Park wanted to flirt with you. One hour passed and the meeting already led to something else. You forgot that San was next to you, looking jealous at the two of you. It was almost 11pm and you already started getting ready to leave. San was looking at you, at the movements you were making. Kai is basically a Coyote fanboy oc that I made back in I think… August??

Yea.

Kai’s name was thought of from the way Coyote’s name was pronounced. The two sound very similar.

His full name is Kai Odie.

Kai was born on the 15th of the 5th. Idk what year tho.

Also some of my ocs timeline and Kai’s timeline aren’t the same,, there’s other timelines out there but they all still have zombies in them.

The timeline takes place before it died took place around the 1990s-2011.

Kai has also somewhat improved as a person,, he’s pretty chill nowadays…I guess. I mean,, less mean that’s for sure.

He beefs with ppl/things a lot tho,, it’s literally ez to get Kai to hate u,, u could be a Taylor Swift fan and he’d hate u for that. 😭

Kai is basically pretty friendly tho,, sure. He murdered a bunch of zombies and possibly people but that was out of self defence. He wouldn’t murder anyone on purpose, unless it’s Midnight Shadow or it’s someone that wants to harm him.

Kai wore glasses when he was a kid due to poor eye sight (not being able to see from distances) until he was a teen,, which he just started wearing contacts (even tho it’s semi dangerous to wear those) …this did somewhat give him the reputation of him being the “smart nerdy” guy but he later proved them wrong.

Kai’s also deaf as well,, he wears a hearing aid although it’s unnoticeable. He got this from putting his headphones on max volume and plus other people playing loud audio/screaming into his ear when he was a kid. O and he knows how to read lips as well and he knows sign language. (He didnt get the hearing aid until he was 17,, his parents thought he was deaf because of the fact he had a hard time hearing them directly unless they yelled sooo yea) Kai also just turned off his hearing aid whenever he didn’t want to hear sum however with the zombie apocalypse he kept that on 24/7 cause he didn’t want to risk not hearing sum and dying from it.

Kai also wears earrings, he used to wear black earrings but now he wears cherry earrings, the only reason why he’s wearing cherry earrings of all things is because of Coyote.

Kai actually also has a tattoo on his back where it’s just Coyote’s name in a rlly rlly fancy goth font. Forgot the name but yea. No one knows about it except for Coyote. They actually got the tattoo together and have matching tattoos.

Kai has average strength, sometimes it works out in his favour, sometimes it does not. Mainly depends on who he’s fighting though.

when Kais Mom first saw that Kai dyed his hair gave himself whatever that pink and blue thingy is called that covers his other eye she tried cutting it off however Kai just kept on refusing to do so, which ended up with him getting grounded and Kai’s Mom kept on trying to convince him to get rid of but no matter what she said he just kept it. Which,, made her rlly mad and her hatred for Kai only grew more and more the more she looked at him. Kai’s Dad however just didn’t care and eventually convinced Kai’s Mom to just let him do whatever he wants since he thought that if he was happy then he’d get better grades (very weird logic god damn) and so she did. But she still secretly hated him. (Kai’s Dad was also old and just simply did not give a fuck about what happened anymore. The Mom was also old but she had more care then the dad did.)

But however there was a deal,, Kai can keep the eye cover thingy if he only put it in a feminine ponytail or pigtail/kept the hair rlly long and he agreed. This deal was made by Kai’s Mom and she did it behind the Dads back.

O yea speaking of that,, during the apocalypse in his timeline, while he was asleep he was attacked by a zombie and he got half of his face infected. He was able to cure it tho. Gud thing it was where the eye cover thingy was so it’s ez to hide.

Anyways spoiler for night 3 under here

ok so the only thing that’s different here is that instead of Coyote being the traitor it’s Kai.

The deal in question (and betrayal) basically went like this:

Shadow:

“I’ll get u out of here if u help me make deep night strong and stuff.”

Kai:

“ok 👍”

(Literally after he meets Coyote and the others and night 3)

Kai:

“I change my mind I hate u I hope u die.”

[EXPLODES THE ENTIRE PLACE]

Now,, Kai didn’t intend or plan to explode the place on purpose. He wanted to keep the cabin in shape however with the way Midnight Shadow planned it all out he had no choice, he had to explode the place with what he had on him to try to kill Midnight Shadow.

When Murch found out that Kai betrayed him he basically just started hating on Kai and being a big meanie to him and Coyote had to go and defend him every time but that only just made Murch hate the both of them. Except,, not only is it hatred from the betrayal. It’s jealousy.

He secretly wants Coyote, but with Kai being there for Coyote more then he himself is. He grew jealous of him.

So yea.

I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS IS HELPFUL OR NOT but I keep meaning to share bc i do not know anyone else who would care lmao - แซนด์, phonetically pronounced Saaen (soft aae, like the word air in a "british" accent) but romanised Sand. The little garan mark above the d ด์ basically means it's there but not pronounced, usually because it's a loan word. Like in First's name, เฟิร์ส which is why you hear his name pronounced Fehd/Fuhrd.

Don't get me started on the fact this is only a rule until it's not. See: เ��ย์. Ray. Except the y is silent and the ae is a short, flat a like in the word cat. Except it's not because the letter y seems to be an ongoing and largely unspoken joke to the people of Thailand. And the a isn't flat because there's a y. But. And then.

Anyway.

Regardless, I will still be calling him San. Because sanray is too fucking cute and I like the fact they're going to be the antithesis of any kind of sunshine.

i did understand that thai end consonants are really more like a suggestion usually so i did figure that’s what’s going on with sa(e)n(d). i didnt know that that was how that a(e) was pronounced!! its very interesting thank you,,, i ought to somehow work on reading thai because to my knowledge literally all attempts at romanization are fucky and wrong

even in first’s name, i do know it’s there but to me i barely hear the ‘d’ at all. it just sounds like ‘fer’ with like a soft stop x_x. and oiiii what even is that for ray… we’ll just have to listen for his name said out loud i guess??

i’m mostly just waiting to see what they’ll go with for official subs at this point bc it’s just gonna be a style choice (and sometimes theyre not even consistent there like. in bmf i saw them spell his short name ‘kawi’ and his long name ‘bodkawee’ like….)

i’m biased against ‘sand’ personally for arbitrary and petty reasons, but if it’s consistently spelled that way in the official subs i will regretfully and reluctantly change. :(

Hello ! I just went down a long rabbithole on your blog and it is fascinating, i love learning from people passionate who know about their subject ! :D

I saw a post in august 2022 where you werent sure what define a specie, and as a biologist i'm happy to help !

A specie, commonly, is "a group of animals who could have a fertile child together, and who could meet in nature". (for example polar bear and grizzly can have a fertile kid but they dont live near eachother). Then it gets incredibly muddled, lot of debate happen, and it's not even getting into bacterial species, but that is the crux of it.

And, biology fun fact : the specie "dog" is a wolf ! It's just the domesticated form of it, like pigs are the domesticated form of hogs. It's like, if you only took the pigeons with the bluest feathers, the roundest eyes and the shortest beaks, and only made them reproduce eachother, then only took the children with the most pronounced characteristics and bred them, and so on and so on until you have, in like 50 years, a pen filled exclusively with blue birds with big round eyes and short beaks (and maybe a weird characteristic you didnt intend to have but is somehow genetically linked, like for example, now half your birds have super vibrant orange feet even tho you didnt ask for it). And you name your birds the "Pigey" and everyone want to have one in their home.

The pigey are still pigeons, and the two could breed together. It's just a sub-group of pigeons who lost the genetic variation pigeons have in nature : they lost normal genes for, say, feather coloration, and now exclusively have only one, pushed to the extreme.

It's the same with dogs ! They are a sub-group of wolfs, they are both the specie Canis Lupus ! And "dogs who went wild again", like dingos, are the same specie. (Arctic wolves are also the same specie i think)

Orher Canis species include Canis rufus (red wolf), Canis simensis (Ethiopian wolf), about five or ten others, and then Canis letrans, the coyote ! It can fully breed with wolves, but since coyotes live in plains and wolves in forests, plus the fact they both live in packs and are fairly territorials, they usually dont meet. The same goes with Canis aureus (golden jackal).

Now: if you kept your pigeys separate on an island, with no contact with pigeons, for thousands and thousands of years, they could start to change so much that they would become too weird to breed with natural pigeons : for example, their genitals stop being compatibles with normal pigeons, or their mating rituals would put off pigeons, or more often, they become genetically incompatible (they could loose or gain some chromosomes so they no longer have the same number as normal pigeons). They would then be different species ! In fact that's how species tend to form :D Wolves and dogs are not different enought yet !

I think I remember which post your talking about, and I think my answer to the ask was a bit similar to what you said though I was hesitant to get too into the definition because I know there’s some controversy on what defines a species (plus general biology isn’t my strong suit, as I tend to stick with canines). And then there’s the whole chromosomal difference (like how foxes and wolves can’t breed because the number of chromosomes they have is too far off) that comes into play and I’m like ???.

And yeah, Arctic wolves are indeed a subspecies of gray wolf. I also saw an article somewhere (maybe on the IWC site) describing how it was a possibility that dogs may not be directly descended from wolves like we thought as the possible second domestication of dogs comes into play, but I’d have to fact check it. All in all, very cool and I could read about canines all day if you can’t tell.

since is 1am and im feeling a lil autistic,

heres a overly detailed and throughly sourced ketchup infodump.

yes, as in the condiment (or rather, class therof).

this will be a obnoxiously long post with a mommy baking blog like intro. you have been warned.

so, when i was very young, i was cruising in my parents car somewhere near compton to my recollection, and i saw a truck go by marketing Heinz jalapeño ketchup. being all of ~4 and only have been exposed to the American Heinz '57 Tomato Ketchup (and offbrand variants therof), i was like "hey wtf" to my parental units, who just kind of shrugged, as they didnt have a clue either.

I forgot about this encounter for about a decade, until someone in a Discord server i was in said "ketchup is just tomato smoothie," and then someone argued that it was jelly, and i remembered that snippet, and decided to Google, and was DELIGHTED by the answer and chaotic discussion that ensued.

OKAY so TOMATO Ketchup is a fairly recent invention, popularized in the US in the late 1800's with the birth of Heinz '57, which wasnt actually their 57th product, Mr. Heiz just decided that he wanted 57 recipies for his brand. He claimed that 5 was his lucky number and 7 was his wifes or something, thats why 57. HOWEVER, in the UK, there's a even older mushroom ketchup, and in the Philippines, there's banana ketchup, and theres black walnut ketchup, and apparently jalapeño ketchup... you get the point. what unites all these condiments is not there actually main ingredient, but rather, the side ingredients and the process of which they are turned into ketchup.

see, the key ingredient of ketchup are the vinegar and spices/seasonings (such as allspice, ginger, cumin, coriander, cloves, garlic, onion, mustard, etc) that go with it. the recipe itself is actually fairly ancient and originates somewhere in Asia- the working theories on how we got the name "ketchup" in the first place are that it comes from the Cantonese word 茄汁, literally keh-jup (pronounced similarly with the correct vocalizations) or that it came from a more regional Chinese dialect. theres another theroy tying it more to India, and honestly i dont think we will ever know for sure, because thats how damn old the stuff is!

The tomato ketchup us USAmericans know and stand by today debuted sometime in the late 1700's, around 1770 by some accounts. Heinz popularized it with '57, of course! fun fact: dictionaries in the U.S kept referencing non-tomato ketchup in their definitions until 1913, which was about 40 years after the Heinz tomato variant essentially killed the market for all the other stuff.

Amnd you know he didnt even WANT kids. He's in this shit with Goten & Palace becasue it's lovely and he's committed and the first kid was an accident and the second kid isnt even his, it's Goten's, and Palace still named it that, and he cant stop them from having kids if they want, but he should have been able to have her Not name it That, but she wouldnt fucking be swayed.

And you know he's really going throuhg it & he doesnt even want kids & he's about to snap and quit his job as Capsule Corp president soon becasue he cant fucking take this anymore & he needs some time alone & he needs some bro time and some adventureing & he's about to snap and quit and storm out and when his mother asks him who tf he thinks he is and where he's gonna go and what he's gonna do, hes gonna say "I dont know. I'm gonna go live on Palace's dime and do something cool with my life. I dont know. Something with swords." and he does end up getting into swords and martial arts again and he does start that sword training dojo with Goten and all is well and he feels fulfilled. But until then he's at a precarious strait in his life where he feels like hes gonna snap and it's just mounting !

You know he likes his BFF and his BFF's wife and all but after the second baby Palace-chan had to leave her job at Hot Topic (she didnt need the money it was just a personal passion of hers) so now it's just her and Goten hanging out at home all the time with these kids and they dont even know that theyre going compeltely fucking insane. Trunks comes home from a weekend work event and Goten & Palace are in their dinosaur PJs and theyre watching Ponyo on repeat with the babies and there's a weird pillow fort built in the kitchen with crumbs in it & someone left the freezer open and nobody noticed and it's melted all over the floor & the bathroom sink is full of toothpaste & there are homemade fly catchers everywhere and frankly they just look and smell weird & WHY ARE THERE SCREWDRIVERS IN THE DISHWASHER ??!

So yeah Trunks isnt gonna call that kid anything other than "boy" for at least a few years. Even though Goten and Palace ended up settling on the idiotic nickname "Doublie" from Vegeta V -> Double V, Trunks just isnt gonna stoop that low. Only when the boy gets in trouble does he address it boldly as "Son Vegeta The Fifth," and he lets the cold shock of such a name roll over him every time, becasue hes a man and he can handle it.

So yeah. Thats how he fucking feels about that

ive never written any ship .. fanfic. so i dont think i could confidently write hanyagellan. i should though.. i should learn to write multiple characters. actually up until like. last month. i had never read fanfic that wasnt x reader. wait no thats wrong i HAD but it was characters i didnt know and purely bc i was bored. anyways if i am obsessed with fictional characters its usually bc i want to date them. and the ones i dont like like that r just blorbos, and i dont ship them with anyone. my first times actually shipping characters were basically.. me finding out phoenix wright and maya fey dont get together (i thought they were canon for some reason).. and it means its ok to ship wrightworth. and then enjoying satosugu content, a lot. both happened in the past 6 months or so

i have had a few moments where i really liked (mackenyu) zoro. when he smiled, once, i was like WOW ??? HELLO??? I LOVE U ... and then it was Gone.. i just need the silly guy to be silly. either way his action scenes are fantastic like. huge kudos to mackenyu for that. "zoro’s characterization seems to be one of the major criticisms ive seen across the board so maybe they’ll lighten him up for season 2." I HOPE SO!!! its not like hes doing an awful job or anything, im just sad abt the way the character has gone. make him smile a little more and joke around a little more and i will be happy as a clam or whatever that saying is. also excited for whatever the zoro saying fuck scene is.. i dont really notice cussing most of the time in media so i hope it doesnt slip past me

We're on the way to the airport now. I'll be home in just over 12 hours and I have to say... I'm both super excited to be back with my pets, but also extremely sad. I dont want to leave. I've said it probably a dozen times in the last two weeks - if I could find a way to get my animals here, I would move back to Newfoundland in a heartbeat. But moving seven snakes, twenty ducks, two geese, two cats and two dogs across the country is a task of its own. I dont even want to think about the conversation I would have to have with my friends. But I miss it.

I may delete this later on. I just need to get the words out.

My heart lives on this island, and yet I've never lived in Newfoundland for longer than a month or two at a time. I was born in Grand Falls. My mum went to Newfoundland to have me, and we went back to Alberta when I was 5 weeks old. And then we would go back and forth every summer, go back for Christmas, pretty consistently until I started school.

My entire family is from Newfoundland. I'm related to literally half of Twillingate. But they don't all live there. When my parents moved to Alberta, a bunch of their friends and cousins came with them and shared a house for a while. I was raised in a very Newfoundland household, even if we were as landlocked as we could get. When I started school, my grandparents would come up for the summer or for Christmas instead of us going there. I was raised with the music, with mummering, with Jiggs dinner, with an aching desire to be near water that somehow has to be genetic.

Then I started school. And I had to push all that down. I had to force myself to change my voice so that my classmates could understand me, or at least stop bullying me about the way I spoke or my accent. Didnt help much, they just found other things. Like how all the music is weird and annoying, how mummering is creepy, how I should stop pretending to be smart because I'm just a stupid Newfie. I stopped telling people I was from Newfoundland because I got tired of people asking me to try and pronounce 'about' and other shit for the next five minutes of the conversation.

That's how Alberta was. You cant talk to anyone because they'll think you're weird. Everything has to be locked up or in your hands, because if you even forget it for a second, someone will take it. People will break locks and cut fences just to get something they want. Guard what you have because someone will try to steal it. Dont walk anywhere after dark because someone will hurt you. Dont walk anywhere alone at any time because someone will hurt you. Dont try to be different. Dont even paint your door a different color because people will think you're weird. Dont trust anyone. That's what Alberta was and still is.

Now Alberta has a very high population of Newfoundlanders. Fort McMurray might as well be called Nfld soil for how many people are here from home. But you still only meet them out and about every once in a while. And when you do, its a totally different experience than meeting a stranger.

As soon as you meet someone from Nfld and they realize you're from there too? Instantly like old friends. There's no awkward introduction. You just start talking like you've known each other all your life, and you'll have to double back at the end of the conversation to ask what their name was because you can be talking for 15 minutes and not even bother introducing yourselves.

Its not rude. Its just the way we are. The default is that everyone is a friend. Alberta is so different. The culture there, especially nowadays, is so cold and caustic. I don't want to go back to clients yelling at me, to snappy people on the street, to the city that has gotten the highest crime rate in Canada five times. I want to be here. I want to be in the place where not a single door is locked, not a car, not a house, because everyone trusts each other. I want to be where I can walk anywhere and know I am loved. I want to be here, where I could go up to any door, even if they had no idea who I was, and be welcomed. I could knock on any stranger's door and ask for a cup of sugar, and end up staying for supper.

I want to be home.

When I flew down two weeks ago, the flights were silent. No chatter. Nobody talking. Until I got on the plane to St. John's from Halifax. It buzzed. People talked the entire flight to complete and total strangers, without hesitation. You walk into a store down here and you can talk to anyone. I was at Walmart the other day looking for rug binding, and I wasn't sure what I needed, but I just stood there looking a bit lost and trying to muster up the courage to ask a staff worker. The next thing I know, this grandmother comes down the aisle with 4 rolls of yarn and new knitting needles, takes one look at me, and asks me what I needed. And then we spent 25 minutes talking about various crafts, what rug binding I would need for what craft, what she'd been working on, what I was working on, and I left that aisle with 3 rolls of the tape I needed and a wonderful feeling of comfort. I didnt even ask her name. She didn't ask mine.

That's the culture in Newfoundland. Everyone is a friend. And by God does my heart ache for it. Not to mention the ocean, the rocks, the sounds of the sea and the wind.

Newfoundland is a struggling little island. Its one of the poorest parts of Canada. The unemployment rate is sky high. The weather is terrible. Everything costs an arm and a leg. But the default here is just... kindness. Everyone is in the same boat, everyone is going through the same struggle, so if you can make the struggle a bit easier, you might as well try.

One day I will be back. One day I will come back, and I will stay. And I will be home.

it also says a lot abt me that i made my senior hs english teacher (we didnt get along) play the video for the class. bc i was the only one in a class full of 2000s kids who knew baby got back and i thought that was appalling. my teacher, idk how old. old., also didnt know the song which was just weird

Philza stands up from his place at the worn out leather couch. Food stains and the color of red, black and green crayon marks liter the fabric. Ever since he was busy with his job he needed someone to babysit Tommy. He had tried to get Wilbur but he was to busy roaming around L’manburg with Sally and obviously Technoblade wouldn’t be able to babysit for multiple reasons. So, after asking almost everyone in the entire SMP (not including Quackity or Dream) there were only two people left that could’ve been perfect candidates..

Sam and y/n.

They were the two most trusted people on the entire Smp. Everyone came to them with the littlest things and they always somehow had the best advice or were always available to lend a helping hand. Thats why Philza came to the two of you one sunny afternoon on a bright Monday. Boy had he wish he thought of the two of you sooner. He doesn't know how he didnt though, Philza himself looks up to you guys even though he significantly older. You two always have a space in his mind.

Sam grunts as he dusts off his blue jeans. Dust and wood chips fall freely as he gets up and turn towards y/n "Screwdriver please?" He holds out a hand and bends down to pick up another piece of oak wood.

Looking up at him, y/n puts a hand over her eyes and rummages through the red and black tool box. Her hand hovers over countless nails and hammers until she feels the plastic part of the screwdriver. Pulling it out she brushes off sand and rust to hand it to sam bottom first, "here you go Sammy"

Sam lets out a small 'thank you' as he goes back to work screwing in a nail that had been wobbly and out of place.

The sound of babbling and shrieking goes from behind the pair. A disheveled Philza comes from the bushes holding a wild Tommy in his arms. Philza's once tamed hair is now out of place and messy, the clothing that once was on his shoulder now dangles off, there's rips in his robe. Y/n turns around at the noise.

She stifles a laugh, turning around slighting she pokes Sams shoulder to get him to pay attention. He, at the moment, was to focused on what was in front of him.

"sam look, we have a visitor" y/n comments looking back at Tommy who was trying to wiggle out of Philza's tight grasp.

"..huh?"

"ah Tommy! enough kicking! You little shit!" Philza places Tommy on the floor and at full force Tommy crashes into your legs.

You let out a surprised huff and giggle "Little man!" Tommy starts laughing and jumps up and down. Lifting him up by his arm pits you balance him on your hip as he grabs at your hair.

He doesn't notice sam until he starts rubbing Tommy on his back and calls his name. "Hey Tommy boy!"

Tommy sheiks once again "Wam! Wam!" not quite pronouncing Sams name correctly. Sam laughs and reaches over to take Tommy on his hips.

Philza lets out a tired huff and rubs his right rib. He shakes his head and steps closer "Thanks again for taking him such short notice. I cant miss another day of work, and todays pretty important."

Y/n waves a hand of dismissal and sucks at her teeth "Its fine Phil, we're happy to help anytime." She reaches over to tickle Tommys stomach. He giggles and sticks his tongue out as he try to dodge the touch of your wiggly fingers. His red and white shirt starts to get wrinkled.

Sam nods his head and smiles"yeah, what y/n said, we are free whenever."

That started the long period of times where bright and early in the mornings Philza would drop Tommy off at your shared cottage and pick him back up at different times. This could be before the sun came up or right when the moon went down.

This also meant Tommy was spending more and more time with you and Sam then he had with Philza. You guys were practically his new parents. He had seen you guys as so too....

This 'issue' hadn't been something both of you thought of until after Philza rushingly dropped Tommy off at your home in the crack of dawn.

Picking him up you lift him into the hand made high chair sam was working on weeks prior. Sam comes over in hand with a can of mushed carrots, apples, banana and spinach. Something Sam had figured out was Tommys favorite after hours of trying to feed him but instead he spat it out. All over Sams shirt. The can was metal instead of the regular glass ones because Tommy had a habit of throwing them across the room and breaking it. Sam sighs and wipes a sweaty hand on his shirt and he sits down on the wooden stool. You reach across him and grab a orange teething spoon from the kitchen drawer and hand it to him.

"Thank you," He says and gently takes it out of your hand. He shifts in his chair and turns back to Tommy who was, already staring at him expectantly, both hands on his table and mouth wide open. Sam laughs and shakes his head "Alright Tommy you ready? I made the one just for you, all your favorites. I promise you you're going to love it."

Tommy says nothing but opens his mouth wider. A loud laugh comes out of your mouth. "sorry that came out of nowhere. That was hilarious. Anyway continue, my bad"

Sam looks at you briefly. He takes the spoon and dips it in the cup of hot water next to you, shaking off the excess he mixes the orange mixture together and scoops enough to cover the entire spoon. He hands the spoon to you.

"Okay Tommy are you ready? Here comes the Choo-choo train.." you make it so that the spoon goes into circles and plop it into his mouth with a 'hmph'.

You and Sam watch as Tommy chews loudly. Expectancy dance on your eye brows as Tommy slams his hands on the table and swallows with a gasp. Conflict shines in his bright blue eyes until he finally looks up at the both of you. He throughs his arms up in the air and giggles.

"Good mama and dada!"

watari sniffs his food before eating it no matter if its something he eats all the time or something new, he still sniffs it either way

yahaba is really particular with his feet and he likes to get a really big tupperware (duh one only meant for his feet) and fill it up with warm almost boiling water and he just soaks them

oikawa has sleep paralysis and he oftens hallucinates about aliens in the corner of his room

kunimi does this thing where he makes weird noises with his mouth like sounds of his mouth opening LIKE when youre tastinf something new and you do that sound with your tongue (I DUNNO HOW TO DESCRIBE IT AJDKSKKD)

makki bends his knees just to crack his ankles

iwa sneezes a ton but he has those sneezes where theyre quiet that you dont even notice or really loudly that it just echoes throughout the gym

kyo sleeps with one sock on bc his feet gets cold easily but both socks make him feel really hot so only one sock is perfect

for a tall and hunk of a guy, mattsun is a very light walker like his footsteps are very light and if he wants to, it can be practically silent

watari actually hates vegetables ajssksksk he particularly hates zucchini, eggplants, any vegetables that are that shape

kindaichi likes to stick or lean against walls because to him, they feel cold and can decrease his body heat

oikawa stands and places his feet at V position like \/ instead of ll because his sister did ballet and he was taught that was the right way of standing and it was considered graceful

yahaba has a fear of cactuses

mattsun does so badly in the heat because his body temp runs so high and the hot surroundings make him feel so uncomfortable and so he takes a lot of cold showers

iwa cannot swim like he freaks out immediately when his toetips can no longer feel the bottom and he panics with thoughts of drowning

watari has really small feet that he still buys big kids shoes to save money

kyotani considered playing baseball because he thought baseball bats were cool but he got angry and threw tantrum after missing his first pitch

iwa chomps on a whole raw chili while eating ramen akskksks

oikawa actually hates sweets bc when he was younger, he had cavities and iwa showed him a cartoon of cavities eating his teeth and will make him toothless

kindaichi really really likes hugs but hes too awkward to ask them even from his parents

yahaba chomps on mints so he goes through boxes of them in a week

i feel like theres a boy in the team who doesnt brush their teeth everyday and rubs a towel on their teeth to make it look clean and take mints to hide their bad breath

iwaizumi is actually iron deficient so he bruises super super fast and he even developed iron defiency anemia when he was younger bc his parents didnt catch on which caused him to be put on strong medication for months and still takes it now

also never take them to an all you can eat sushi place. if you do, bring them earlier of the day like 30 mins after opening time so the cooks can cook enough for them without running out of ingredients (even then sometimes they still run out)

oikawa used to eat his mom's roses from her garden because he thought it would make his farts smell good like roses

takahiro is a surprisingly good artist like he draws really cool action fighting scenes in the corner of his papers and stuff

in my work: it's canon that iwa is half filo and his nanay used to dress him up in a barong all the time during halloween bc she wanted him to showcase his heritage

yahaba drinks a lot of milk because he hopes to one day grow strong and bulky like the 3rd years instead of being seen as a pretty boy

kindaichi's mom is a hairstylist and she always scolds him for using a lot of gel bc she's always the one who washes his hair

watari hates sitting on the floor bc his butt bone hurts really easily so he can only sit on cushions for long periods of time

the team was supposed to have a party but everyone didnt know what to bring so they proved they shared the same braincell by bringing the same thing: a box of pizza

makki's an old soul and prefers to play records on a record player or watch old movies

kyo is surprisingly good at giving massages because he really pushed hard on those tense muscles

kindaichi knows how to crack necks so everyone goes to him a lot to do it (a friend of mine does this and can i say its terrifying yet so good?)

the only one who has a license is matsukawa and thats because granny needs to go to the doctor a lot and he hates her walking by herself and cabs are expensive

kyotani and yahaba are actually,,, lowkey close,,, not like best friends but theyre nice to each other and they got a stick and poke together (yahaba's was: :) while kyo's was: >:))

fluff (?) , platonic , gender neutral ! inspired by wallow’s are you bored yet?

there was never a dull moment on the server which was both a good and bad thing

tommy had recently gotten out of the prison after allegedly being pronounced dead by sam

you felt bad for him

he missed out on so much; his best friend had gotten a platonic husband and even a child

not only that but everyone treated him differently

he was the first person to be revived after losing all 3 of their lives

the revive book was real

but you didnt looked at tommy as some experiment or someone different to as he was before the prolonged visit

frankly, you couldn’t even process the fact that dream took his last life

it wasn’t that you were in denial for the whole month of him being gone, you just couldn’t accept what happened without seeing proof yourself

of course you couldn’t visit the prison just to prove a point, but you knew deep inside it couldn’t be over that easily

you knew dream well enough that he wouldn’t do that to tommy

not yet anyway

it was a bit morbid to acknowledge, but dream was the type to toy with tommy until the last straw and him dying over a visit didn’t seem like it would’ve been the most fitting outcome

you sighed at the bitter thought and made your mind go off to something else whilst continuing to wait in front of puffy’s therapy office

it was tommy’s first session with puffy and you wanted to support him in any way you could and the least you could do was walk him home after it

you couldn’t even imagine how bad things could be in tommy’s mind so you thought even the littlest distractions could possibly help

after a bit of more waiting, tommy stepped out the office and greeted you with a halfhearted smile

tommy was smiling through the pain but you knew it was the best he could do at the moment; just bringing yourself to see a therapist took a lot of work and courage

after a bit of silence whilst you two walked on the prime path back to tommy’s house, you decided to make conversation

“so.. how was it? like everything with puffy?”

“it’s okay. i’ll be seeing her later this week. we’re still figuring out how often we should meet.. but you really don’t need to wait for me every time if that’s what you’re asking.”

you were saddened that tommy thought you were only accompanying him out of pity

“no, no! i mean, i don’t even live in snowchester so it’s not far and i haven’t really been doing anything, and y’know i obviously care about you as well. just don’t worry about it, really.”

“oh, okay”

tommy’s response was flat but you couldn’t blame him

after an hour of letting our all problems and past experiences, it would be hard to talk too

you didn’t want to push tommy to continue talking but you also didn’t want to leave him alone with his thoughts during the walk

“oh yeah, are you busy later? i made some food earlier back at my house and i wanna give you some later, if you like cake and pumpkin pies. like i enjoy baking but damn,, it’s so hard to find stupid chickens and cows for the eggs and milk here like what the heck? what happened to all the dumb farms?”

you continue you ramble about pointless things in hopes tommy wasnt spacing out

his quiet laughs were reassuring that he wasn’t completely bored

soon enough you made it to the top of tommy’s hill

you didn’t realize that it had been a long day until you saw the sun finally setting across the horizon

the walk from puffy’s office was short but refreshing, it was just what you both needed

instead of heading to tommy’s front doors, you nonverbally gestured over to the wood bench to sit on

tommy got the message and joined you on the seat

the view was perfect, the sun was slowly setting and the skies were a mix of orange and red hues

despite everything that happened in the recent months, you felt at peace

you and tommy were occupied from admiring the beautiful sky and hadn’t spoken for what seemed like ages

for a moment you saw the contentment tommy had in his eyes but they quickly changed back to his gloomy mood

you couldn’t help but ask “what’s wrong?”

“i dunno, i don’t really have an answer”

you knew you didn’t want to pry but at the same time you wanted tommy to elaborate

“how come?”

instead of replying, tommy huffed and settled down, lying his head on top of your shoulder for support and closing his eyes

you indulged in the silence and watched the sun slowly disappear from your eyesight and as the sunset orange skies turned dark, adorned with many tiny stars

after a while you couldn’t tell whether tommy was asleep

in the corner of your eye you could still see his eyes were shut, but to your surprise he spoke up

“are you bored yet?”

by his tone he seemed concerned that he was taking up too much of your time

you let out a quiet hum letting him know you didn’t mind spending time like this

you had a soft smile on your face and were just glad he was finally getting some rest and closure

tommy was one of your best friends and you couldn’t ask for more

it wasn’t a lot but you knew even small progress could still go far in the long run

in that moment it was like all your worries had washed away

you didn’t want to break the silence but you still wanted to remind tommy you cared for him

“hey, you know, anytime if you’re feeling lonely, you should tell me. if you need to talk, i’ll be here ready to listen on this bench.”

“thank you for always being here, y/n”

tommy lifted his head and looked at you

“bench bois?”

you laughed at the name

“with an i?”

“with an i.”

you smiled knowing that the ‘bois’ wasn’t directed at any gender in particular, it was just a nickname tommy referred all his close friends to as

something about it felt lighthearted and comforting

TAEIL + LIAN: IL-LI

taeil used to wake her up for school when she was still a teenager :((

such a soft but overlooked duo

will appreciate each other forever and ever

lian teaches him roasts in english that he can say to johnny

remain each other’s hype man and woman

taeil was the first to suggest he and the other nct members react to the trailers of her dramas on video so they can boost them in popularity

promotes the HELL out of lian’s solo career over twitter

lian loves coming up behind him and just giving him hugs because he’s soft (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞

they watch movies together a lot! but taeil has to come down to the fifth floor because lian hates it up on the tenth one

he was once able to grab her hand in an airport and they held hands the entire time :(( a few pictures went a little viral

taeil will ALWAYS take her side in silly arguments she and the other members have sometimes

has lost lian in so many airports it’s not even funny

whenever he doesn’t see her he goes into panic mode and starts asking if anyone has seen his little sister

one of the first members that she was comfortable with

lian said that he was her role model :’(

as the leader, he’s always taking care of her and will not sleep until he knows for sure she’s eaten

because of how lian never participated in any of nct’s first bit of promotions due to being too uncomfortable around them, she was allowed to skip out on the viewings of their relay video letters

but she was still required to make one for somebody and that somebody was taeyong ˵ ຈ ︿ ຈ ˵

she said that she was glad he was her leader and that she hoped to become closer one day

he cried

declares that he will take care of lian till the day he dies

taeyong had yelled at lian’s former manager until he voluntarily quit working for her- he had found out that lian was being overworked to the point where she collapsed during their dance practice and he wasn’t okay with it

always cheering her on backstage when she performs solo

he always tries to include her in guiding the members for their dances because he knows how happy it makes her

instead of having her carry her glasses around with her, he does it instead :D

“nana, do you have to wear your glasses now?”

taeyong tucks her into bed every night he can ᕕ( ཀ ʖ̯ ཀ)ᕗ

YUTA + LIAN: YUN

totally doesn’t have feeling for her, yeah

yuta is obsessed and when i tell you he’s obsessed, he’s obsessed

did i mention obsessed?

he’s jealous of everyone :(

yun stans insist that the only reason yuta is so touchy with winwin and mark is because he’s trying to cover up his feelings for lian

bye if that’s true-

hyuck wanted to give her a hug (a rare occurrence) and yuta straight up just said,

lian died internally when yuta cut his long hair because she couldn’t put it into ponytails anymore :((

but his hair is growing back now so she’s able to do it again :)

yuta teaches her japanese every tuesday and thursday!

we don’t bring this up because it’s pretty embarrassing but,, when nct 127 were backstage before performing kick it, yuta asked doyoung (who was in a direction where he could get a clear view of lian’s face) if lian was staring at him

how do we know this, you may ask?

it was caught on camera and everyone made fun of him for a solid week straight

he’s caught staring at her from afar way too often for comfort

lian says that he’s very pretty

much like the other memebers that have instagram, he makes story countdowns that he posts about a week before lian plans to release her solo music

DOYOUNG + LIAN: LIDO

another member of the lian protection squad

doyoung was the first to start calling her cupcake

it all started when doyoung was sick and lian made him cupcakes to make him feel better

will slap anyone who makes a flirty remark towards lian

was embarrassed for yuta when he asked if she was staring at him

said “no” and walked away

lian is the only one who ever shows him any mercy :’)

they have very similar taste in decor so they often go shopping together for things to put around the dorm

doyoung said that he spends the most time in lian’s room because it smells like vanilla all the time

he spoils her SO MUCH

half the plushies she owns at the moment were gifts from doyoung

has a tendency to watch over her and make sure she’s content at all times

but he lowkey has deep feelings for her (he makes it so obvious sometimes it’s kinda disappointing to see how oblivious lian really is to it)

jokes aside, though, jaehyun loves lian so so much

once cried to johnny about how he doesn’t know what to do and that he didn’t want to make anything awkward by confessing to her

makes sure to be near her as often as possible

an instant bond formed between them when they first met!

jungwoo learned a lot about her and has developed so many ways to deal with her anxiety :(

gave the staff a guide on how to keep her calm when he went on hiatus because he couldn’t be there with her

buys her colouring books because he knows that they calm her down well!

liwoo went viral and become a popular ship when lian accidentally changed the nct 127 instagram profile picture to a jungwoo icon

she got scolded but it was iconic orange haired jungwoo with a chain-

an untouchable duo when they do double aegyo

nctzens think jungwoo is her favourite member

maybe because lian said he was

*cue jungwoo laughing at yuta’s face because he was that shocked*

they share secrets with each other so now they probably know the other like the palm of their hand

even though he’s off his hiatus, he still has to guide the staff members through lian’s little moments because sm staff suck at their job sometimes

they’re the two members who go grocery shopping together

more like jungwoo dragging lian to the grocery store with him but okay
