One of the things about LOK that makes no sense is the United Forces army. Like what the actual fuck? Is this supposed to be a UN type situation of intergovernmental peacekeeping troops?? Because that’s the only way it would make sense to have fucking prince of the fire nation, General Iroh be leading the army. Also Bumi is not from the United Republic. Also ALSO the fact that there’s a whole ass United Republic and the show only ever talks about or shows Republic City. Like what?? That makes no motherfucking sense I’m sorry

If you were to work at Descendants as a writer, how would you write Descendants and which characters you’ll take out and keep?
I feel like I could write a whole book about this but I'll try to keep it short.
First and foremost, huma is canon and they get to have some kisses because everyone needs that.
Second, the movies wouldn't be so Mal centered and Mal would act more like she did in the first book and movie. As time went on she changed a lot and it was horrible.
Third, we got a look into Evie's life and how she was fulfilling her dreams in d3, but we didn't get to see any development from Carlos and Jay. So I would change that.
Fourth, idk I feel like Harry changed a lot between D2 and D3, his whole personality in D3 was being a hoe and it was kinda weird.
Fifth, more pirates please
Sixth, Ben seemed pretty helpless and didn't have any say over himself. It was sad, he needs to stand up for himself.
Seventh, Gil wouldn't have been pushed to the side
Eighth, that scene of Harry and Mal in D2 would be cut out. It honestly makes me uncomfortable and it was unnecessary. I know that it was originally supposed to be cut out but dove was adamant that it be kept in. (Whether that's true or not she said that in an interview and it opened too many opportunities for the Huma haters.)
Ninth, Hades isn't Mal's dad
Tenth, Uma wouldn't forgive Mal so easily, you don't just forget and forgive life long trauma
Also, Uma is the queen of the isle. Mal doesn't just get to claim that.
That's what I can think of off the top of my head, as for characters, I don't think I would get rid of any because they were all at some point, at least a little bit important to the story. I do wish CJ and Freddie could've been in the movies tho.
Most of my problems are in d3, but I'll take what I can get.

what's the "stupidest" thing y'all got a flare up from?
in my case it's football, like not from playing but from watching it, some matches make me feel SO nervous that it just triggers my everything, like even watching a repetition from an important one makes me so anxious

It does bother me SU's timeline has a few contradictory moments. I mentioned a few in the tags of a reblog I just did, but I'll elaborate here.
In both Same Old World (Season 3 Episode 3) and Onion Gang (Season 4 Episode 7), Steven says it's transitioning from summer to fall. (Showing a leaf to Lapis that's going orange) (Recieving an orange leaf from Onion to signal that his summer friends are leaving). There's no other mention of seasons passing for the rest of season 3, but directly after Onion Gang, Gem Harvest does an unofficial Thanksgiving episode and then progresses to winter with Three Gems and a Baby.
This leads me to believe they just needed something to show Lapis Earth is always changing, and quickly thought of a leaf going orange. They could just have easily picked the weather suddenly changing. The rest of season 3 appears to happen during the summer, so it's my personal headcanon that leaf was an early anomaly.
The more irritating case of this for me would be the movie. The movie is confirmed to take place on May 21st, due to the Sadie Killer posters in the background. Now, I bet the designer didn't mean this to solidify anything, but since Steven is explicitly confirmed to be 16 during the movie, this means he's almost 17. Despite this, Future goes through a whole winter in Snow Day and apparently a whole school year at Little Homeschool, and in Growing Pains Steven's still somehow 16.
It doesn't add up. This could have been easily fixed by making him 17 and saying he had an offscreen birthday. I mean, starting SUF with Little Homeschool implies it's back to school time anyway, so late August, early September. Steven should have been 17 by the start of SUF to begin with. Then I'd believe the whole of SUF doesn't exactly take a year and he's either 17 or just turned 18 when he leaves (I mean, The Future is months after I Am My Monster so he could have had a birthday between them).
I think it would have been nice to make sure Steven was 18 or just about to become 18 when he left. The idea of a 16yo driving off and living alone on the open road makes me uncomfortable and feels a bit like irresponsible parenting on the Gems' and Greg's part.
I know this doesn't really matter but it does bother me it could have been fixed so easily!

I love the idea of Chuuya figuring out Dazai has a lizard brain and a desperate need to pull his pigtails and using it to manipulate Dazai into taking care of himself.
Chuuya- I hate people who get a full 6 hours of sleep. I cant stand being near them at all, makes me want to die. 🙄
Dazai- taking notes to do just that to piss Chuuya off.
Chuuya- ugh who even eats 3 full meals a day? 🤢
Dazai- deliberately eating multiple meals a day just to piss Chuuya off. His lizard brain not realising he is being manipulated into taking care of himself.
He doesnt care for Dazai of course, he is doing it for the jobs, he needs Dazai to be healthy so that he doesnt pass out during a job is all.
