Mike’s love for El being platonic, and not romantic, and realizing it over the course of season 3 reconciles nearly every contradiction with his behaviour.

He stands like a gay scarecrow as she kisses him in front of Will’s closet. That's him realizing that when he blurted out "I love her and I can't lose her again!" he meant it platonically. But her saying "ily too” WAS CLEARLY NOT PLATONIC, so now he’s left very confused (If he was simply shocked by the fact that she overheard him, he would’ve been surprised initially, and then kissed her back, and been all emotional and happy. But he wasnt.)

In fact he probably realized his heart fluttered when Will said “not possible” to him in the scene literally 1 minute prior, but NOT when his gf was attempting to make out with him? That’s clearly a problem! lol

This leads flawlessly into season 4.

Mike has apparently been refusing to even write the word 'love’ in his letters for 6 whole months. Why? Cause he didn't want them to look like love letters.

Meanwhile, he’s jealous of Will painting something for a girl. So he argues with Will about growing apart.

El argues with him about not saying ily. In the fight, he deflects romantic connotations with words like “care” and superhero idolization that he seems suuuper into this season.

He NODS when Will says “What if they don’t like the truth?”. That’s him thinking “Yeah, El won’t like the truth that I don't return her romantic feelings.”

In the van, he says their meeting was dumb luck and anyone could've been there for her that night. That’s hinting that he was just being a decent human. Not that it was a fated love at first sight meeting.

Then Will says, “You’re afraid of losing her”. And THAT is the true issue here.

This whole concept of ‘losing El’ (be it in relationship/daily life, or in death), is scary to Mike, because of what he went through seasons 1-2. At 12 years old, he saw another kid that he developed a bond with, die right in front of his freaking eyes. But they didn’t have a body or anything. So Mike kept getting signs and intuitive feelings that she was still alive. So he questioned his own sanity. For a WHOLE YEAR. Can you imagine how traumatic that is? And then for a kid that age?? That’s exactly why he develops an unhealthy codependency with her in Season 3. And we see it have a negative impact on the unity of the party, and on Will.

But a traumatic response doesn’t change the fact that Season 3 transitions us through the party’s puberty and growth into teenage hood.

And because of said puberty, Mike starts to realize what actual attraction towards someone is, or in this case… isnt.

Like if we think about the first two seasons, for a 12-13 year old living in that type of society, era, and a picture perfect white suburban American family, it would’ve been really really hard to figure it out back then! Like simply becoming very close friends with the opposite gender caused everyone (cough Nancy cough Lucas) to tell him that “ooooh you must like her”. So yeah, he thinks “I really must like her”. Because he does! He just can’t separate it from actual romantic attraction at that point due to age, and strong heteronormative standards, and no role models like Jonathan telling him “it’s okay to stray from the norm bro”. So of course he acts on it? That’s the NORM. He’s like, “You’re supposed to take a girl you like to the ball”, “We're supposed like girls now”, “This is what growing up means”, “This what old people do”. Like HELLO? Mike says stuff similar to that constantly. Dustin and Lucas do not. So yeah, it can be easily be read as heteronormativity. Not romantic attraction!

And so despite wanting to spend every day in the summer with El because of copious amounts of trauma from S1-2, he can’t continue believing its romantic attraction when his hormones say otherwise.

Like just look at their kissing scenes S3-4:

Seasons 3 starts with him pulling her hands OFF of him when kissing. He’s voluntarily kissing her instead of spending time with his friends, cause he thinks that’s what he’s supposed to do as he’s “not a kid anymore!”, yet he’s evidently not even enjoying it if he’s taking her hands off lol. Then by the end of the season he doesn’t even kiss back, and has his eyes wide open. Then six months later, when he’s way more self aware of his own feelings, this dude wears SUNGLASSES to the airport. We (and all the characters there) can’t even see his true expression when kissing her. And what’s more, he puts the bouquet of flowers between their bodies, to SEPARATE FASTER. When he could’ve very easily put that hand/arm around her, not between them (that's what he does with his other hand holding the bags).

And all of this: all this repression, the contradictions, the unsaid things... it all culminates to the monologue. Will told Mike in the van that El really needed him. And then Will reminds him of this again when El is in the piggyback, cause Will is annoying! (jokes lol). So of course, all rationality, all of Mike's realizations or progression, goes out the window. After all, he is THE HEART. He is needed by her. He can’t go through what he went through in season 1-2 again! It doesn’t matter if it’s not totally true. He needs to tell her what she wants to hear so she won’t DIE. The stakes are extremely high. So he delivers. He even takes all his knowledge of mediocre romance stories, and blurts out that it was love at first sight. It's silly to us the audience, cause if you actually go back and watch season 1 you can see that it's not even fucking true.

So why would he lie? Well because he doesn’t KNOW when he fell in love with El. Because he never fell in love with her. So yeah. It’s PLATONIC with a capital P.

Okay so I just read your post with the danganronpa 2 cast with finding put the reader has a crush on them so I'd like to request a danganronpa v3 cast with reader that has a crush on them

Rantaro isn’t dumb and has had many girls like him before so he’ll be quick to catch on. He doesn’t mind of course, and once he’s sure he returns the feelings he’ll probably confess or .. wait for you to confess. It really depends on the kinda person you are and if you seem like the kinda person who’d want to confess first. He’s a considerate guy after all.

Kaede doesn’t catch on I’ll be honest she’s oblivious, she just doesn’t have a lot of experience in this department. She might ask if you’re hitting on her a couple times but if you say no she just believes you tbh lol but she will take notice to how nice you are to her and she appreciates it.

Ryoma doesn’t catch on, he’s not an idiot it’s mainly due to his self loathing tbh, he cannot fathom the idea of somebody liking him romantically for so many reasons. He doesn’t understand why you’re so nice to him and gush over him and his talent, but he can’t help but get flustered about it.

Kirumi is smart enough to catch on but it’s more so of a sneaking suspicion rather than her being absolutely sure. She is pretty straight forward with you though and asks you if she’s looking too into things or not.

Angie will surely catch on! After all, she has atua on her side! She may not be able to notice but he sure will and will guide her towards you! She will debate asking you out for awhile, since she’s the kinda person that wants to date “the one” so she’s sitting for awhile deciding if you are truly her soulmate.

Tenko will always get flustered by your compliments and how you are but she doesn’t really notice you like her. It’s probably because she’s too caught up in being embarrassed and flustered to honestly notice something like that. Though she’s pretty similar in this manner, she does not approach you about her feelings.

Miu notices, but she’s not sure what it is. She’s unsure if you just see her as a friend or if you see her as more and it seriously pisses her off! However she loves your compliments so she does things in order to get more from you like making new inventions. Eventually though she gets sick of hiding her feelings and yells at you for making her feel these emotions, and demands you tell her if you return her feelings at all.

Gonta doesn’t notice things like this, he will take note you seem to appreciate him and that the two of you are very close at the very least but he doesn’t suspect you like him. He isn’t sure how to figure that out honestly, gonta doesn’t even realize his own feelings for awhile but once he finally does he’s quick to confess them to you. He can’t really keep a secret from you anyway.

Oh boy, kokichi catches on. He’s not an idiot and is easily able to catch on to other peoples feelings if they’re obvious enough and you’re certainly obvious with your constant compliments and gushing. He honestly wonders if you even bother trying to hide it or if you’re being obvious on purpose. In any event, he waits for you to make the first move, if you take too long though he goes for it.

Kaito won’t catch on, in case you haven’t noticed he’s not the brightest guy around. He will sense a closeness between you two, and there are times he wonders if you return the feelings he shares for you, but he doesn’t really.. think you do…? Yknow? Like he’s just kinda oblivious to it.

Kiibo is completely new to this stuff. He will sense something is off with you, and that you definitely interact with him differently than you do with the others, but he doesn’t suspect it’s cause you like him or anything. He’s certainly not dumb but he can be a stereotypical robot that has trouble understanding how people feel at times.

Maki is oblivious to your feelings even if you’re extremely obvious about it. Maki is far too focused on her own feelings and trying to hide them, since she hates these feelings she’s having. She doesn’t completely understand them, either.

Himiko doesn’t really catch on I’ll be honest she probably just thinks that the two of you are good friends and she’s stuck in a friendzone and she has no idea how to get out of it.

i'm curious, do you know why or have and theories on why they make cloti kiss but clerith only hug/hold hands? I was thinking that clerith is more pure and their love is slowly blossoming aka slowburn which I find cute and very fitting for them but the clerith shipper in me is angry bc I would have loved to see them kiss LOL what are your thoughts?

I’ll be real with you, I don’t think either ship should have had a kiss yet and im astonished CT did and how it happened, i think its spoiled all the build up having it there when they’ve been arguing a lot and that it would have been so much more poignant after the LS sequence but now the moment is gone on a poorly framed kiss they’re never going to talk about again bcus it has no relevance to the plot. Thats why they have them agree not to talk about it. I think it’s a shame for people who have waited for 27yrs for that moment. And then after it no matter what they all have to play as Cloud has many non optional romantic moments with Aerith in ch 13 + 14. Reviews have mentioned how off and disjoined it is. I think that’s why they made sure to emphasise before the game came out that the dates were meant to be fun but don’t impact the story. But id be pissed if id waited that long for a kiss and that’s how i got it. and especially that in one route cloud looks like a dick but in another he doesn’t; that should really tell them something about the story. Why they gave them one idk, but I kinda wonder if it was getting them on the hook for p3 cus the last 2 chapters made CT fans real mad (even if they’re pretending otherwise on main, ppl have seen their discord and they’re not happy).

I think CA don’t kiss for a few reasons:

Cloud has remembered Zack, albeit incorrectly, much earlier. Through the game he has instances of jealousy towards him and that becomes more uncomfortable and confusing once he’s remembered they were friends. This has just happed before the dates and why when they get on skywheel he’s a bit awkward and won’t sit beside her! Of course that doesn’t last long; it was either nojima or nomura but one of them said in remake that cloud tries to keep distance between him and Aerith but he can’t do it 🥰🥰 but Zack definitely makes him more reluctant and unsure. Even when he reaches to take her hand it’s slow and cautious bcus he doesn’t know if it’s okay. And of course it is!

Aerith is fully aware Cloud is not himself. On his GS date she tells him she’s trying so hard to find him but in case you missed that as you did a different date, she also says it again in the sleeping forest; that cloud should focus on the real him she’s been looking for and leave Sephiroth to her. She knows there’s something up and kissing him knowing that is not something I think Aerith would do.

CA are the love that could never be ship. In the trailer for the 97 game, that was what they were described as. Part of the tragedy of clerith is that they have these budding feelings but before they have a chance to go anywhere Aerith is murdered. In the original cloud realises the depth of his feelings too late: at the end he says ‘I think I understand now’ and then expresses his desire to meet Aerith in the promised land. And all crossover material he’s in emphasises that he’s always looking for her. They are a star crossed lovers ship. And cloud is also dense and emotionally a mess; yes he likes her clearly, he shows jealousy for Zack, he goes on dates with her, he holds her hand and looks so happy to do so, but he can’t put all those feelings he has and come up with the right answer. In the church she confesses and he doesn’t quite get it and she, linking to her resolution imo (don’t fall in love with me) drops it and apologises and hugs him instead. This is all in line with the OG, that he’ll be hit with the full force of his feelings and what she meant in p3. Remember he’s just said he wants to go on more dates to create more ‘our spots’ with her. She looks happy and then sad when he says this because yay he likes her he wants to do this again, but of course she knows what he doesn’t: that they are about to run out of time.

So that is why I think they don’t kiss. I think it makes sense they didn’t! But I do think they’ll kiss in p3 for sure.

El and Choice

Byler/platonic Elmax/platonic Elmike analysis below the cut (extensive)! You ready for 🤯? 🔻🔺

How much of El’s life has really been choice? I’d argue not a lot of it. In the above scene with Brenner, Brenner even mentions Henry manipulating El. Probably most of us watching that scene thought “wow, pot calling the kettle black much?”

But it’s not just those two. Most of El’s life has been other people making choices for her. It is the times when she takes control into her own hands and makes her own choices when she is at her most authentic and most powerful, as seen above. (Other examples include when she escaped the lab, ran away to meet her mom, left Kali to go rescue her friends, chose to go get her powers back, chose to stay with Brenner, etc. Moments of growth for El are often linked to moments of choice!)

I want to call attention to choice as it relates to El and her relationships - and additionally, as it relates to Mike and his relationships, too.

I made a diagram! 🤪 Sorry, I had a lot of coffee today lol. This diagram isn’t perfect and there are some errors in it (for example, I strongly believe that platonic Elmike is very important to this whole story but I didn’t represent that well in the diagram…. oops) but do you get the idea/my intention at least?? 😅 Take your time looking at it, it’s a bit convoluted. Feel free to come have another look after you’ve read on.

Throughout especially seasons 3 and 4, we see a couple triangles involving El and Mike. In season 3, we see the El / Mike / Max triangle almost as prominently featured, I would argue, as we see the El / Mike / Will triangle. But, the former is a platonic triangle. The latter is a romantic love triangle.

In S3, Mike and Max are constantly shown visually as a triangle with El, constantly pitted against each other, and constantly shown as the two “options” for El. Who will she agree with? Who will she side with? Which of these two will she prioritize?

Same in S3 in regards to Mike needing to choose between El and Will. Y’all probably don’t need me to extrapolate on this one (think of their “breakup” scenes being contrasted visually with lighting and mood, etc).

Then in season 4 this theme continues. Most of volume 1 is focused on the El / Mike / Will love triangle, right? But in volume 2, especially right at the end (as we go into season 5) we begin to see a big focus again put on the platonic triangle between El / Mike / Max. I don’t think I need to explain the love triangle, but I do want to talk a bit about the end of volume 2 and the resurgence of the El / Mike / Max platonic triangle.

We get a parallel between S2 and S4. In S2, El goes into the void, sees Mike in danger, and leaves her “jedi training”. In S4 she goes into the void, sees Max in danger, and leaves her “jedi training.” Mike and Max are being put back into a triangle.

As soon as the Pizza Gang rescues El she immediately says they need to go to Hawkins to rescue their friends (Max). When that plan doesn’t work she figures out a way to save Max from Nevada.

El then spends the rest of volume 2 fighting to save Max. It’s all about Max after this!

S4 V2 even ends with El not really talking much with Mike, going into her bedroom and thinking about Max. The end of V2 is very platonic Elmax-centric. El is beginning to truly prioritize her friendship with Max over her romantic relationship with Mike. She is beginning to make her choice about what she wants - and it’s based on what feels more real and authentic to her.

Others have written a million hours of analyses about Byler - check my pinned post for some excellent examples of those analyses - so I won’t get into that in too much detail here. Suffice it to say, I believe that Mike is also beginning to lean into what feels more real and authentic in his love triangle - and that’s his relationship with Will.

If they both lean into authenticity, El’s narrative arc leads towards Max and platonic (friend/family) love. Mike’s leads towards Will and real romantic love. Both of their arcs necessitate acceptance of self - and learning to believe that their inner moral compass is not wrong, it is good and right.

Right now Mike and El need each other to affirm for one another that they are not monsters. El has believed for years that deep down she might be evil. Mike is gay and closeted - he also believes that deep down he is morally wrong. Their arcs revolve around discovering that they are not monsters - and truly believing it, on their own, without relying on each other to prove it 🤯!

So. What does this have to do with choice? I’m glad you asked!

El chose Max. Mike chose Will. El and Mike did not choose each other.

El and Mike did not choose each other.

El chose Max. Mike chose Will.

El chose the person who trusts her to self-determine. Mike chose the person who believes he is The Heart. They both chose to put someone in their life who can help them see that they are not monsters. Who can love them for who they really are, as they are.

Season 5, I am confident, will center on El finding a way to save Max - and maybe on Mike finding a way to save Will. In any case, I strongly expect to see El leaning into the person she feels the most authentic with - and same with Mike. I expect - or maybe hope - to see their narrative arcs come to a satisfying close as they each choose to trust in their own inherent goodness.

Something something forced conformity (choice being taken away) that’s what killing the kids

Personality wise? I won’t say that I’m antisocial, but I’m a loner. 😭 I prefer my solitude (I don’t have a problem vibing by myself), but I would enjoy spending time with my friends if I had any. I’m pretty much unapproachable thanks to my severe case of RBF and I tend to stay away from big gatherings, but if I attend them I try to separate on my own in a corner after awhile (for some reason ppl still come up to me though, it confuses me greatly)…I’m actually softer once you get to know me though and I’ve been told I have a warm presence that makes it easy for people to gravitate towards me & talk about important things (I always know someone’s deep secrets 😭). It’s easy to talk to people, I just choose not to. 😭

I can be sarcastic and I’m also straightforward. When it comes to relationships/feelings/intimacy, platonic or romantic, I am VERY awkward, it’s hard showing & receiving feelings. I am emotionally constipated until I trust you. I can be a little stubborn and sometimes reckless but it’s only when it comes to protecting my people and my freedom. I’m also very free spirited/carefree and will cut you loose if I can’t have my time to be adventurous. Even though I seem very cold and uninterested (50/50 I am), I am a hopeless romantic at heart.

I’ve typed out as enfp if that adds anything, but I’m not the stereotypical bubbly kind.

I think he also doesn’t like to talk much either. He’s super quiet and would probably just want to rot in bed. I honestly can imagine you both laying on bed with one ear each with an earbud listening to a playlist and just. Staring at the ceiling.

I have to admit, i think you’d also remind him a little bit of koko. But Inui is also pretty much emotionally constipated too. He has trust issues- but i think you both definitely would overcome it together realizing you have a lot in common. And probably becoming super close with each other.

He’d be fine if you’re Adventurous. But I think he is the type of guy who either wants to be in bed all day, or not really go back home.

Australia is not a kind place. Unfortunately for you, you both live there and have an issue disappointing people regardless of attitude towards you.

It’s not your fault. Some people are either just born with that type of personality or, unfortunately, that type of personality is learned. But we won’t get into how.

Despite your personal disadvantages, you have still done relatively well for yourself in Junkertown all things considered. You found a job (as loose as that term can sometimes be in Junkertown) working for Meri in the tinkers. She, being much older than you, could see the kind of person you were. She’d kill you if you ever said so, but she did take a bit of pity on you. She knew that is town was going to eat you alive if someone didn’t at least keep an eye on you. It already had quite a bit as folks here are always willing to pounce on someone who has a hard time disappointing others. If they can get someone to do something for them without having to pay, or threaten them too much, they were going to take it.

Now Meri isn’t a saint either. You often work a little too hard for her simply because she doesn’t know where your boundary is and you don’t want to disappoint her. But, at least you’re getting paid and not getting screwed over.

It’s actually through this arrangement that you met Dez.

Before The Reckoning that would change the leadership in Junkertown, Dez and Meri were semi-acquaintances and she would stop by every once and a while to either give her some parts she had scavenged or take some parts Meri didn’t want.

Dez had never seen you before and was intrigued by your presence. She walked right up to you and struck a conversation. Eventually, after trust was established, a friendship (with a subtle romantic trajectory) formed.

There were some barriers to cross. Meri even gave her a bit of a shovel talk once she realized where your friendship was going. But it wasn’t until Dez was absolutely sure that you also wanted to go before she asked you out.

Well, about as out as you could go in the irradiated outback.

You see, Meri had told her about your people pleasing problem and the last thing Odessa wanted was for you to feel you had to go because she wanted you to. No. This night was supposed to be for both of you.

So she moved much slower than she would have liked (because she really really liked you) but your comfort was most important. She could wait.

And it worked! You both sat up high where you could kinda sorta see the stars if you squinted (radiation and pollution man, sucks) and had a wonderful time.

The rest was history.

By the time The Reckoning came, you were a nervous wreck. Dez and Meri were both competing and you were terrified of what could happen.

Dez did her best to reassure you but you were about as calm as you were likely to get.

You found a seat where you could see and for once you put your foot down when someone tried to get you to move.

When it came down to Meri deciding whether or not to betray King Howl, she also scanned the crowd for you. You met her eyes, pleading for her to help Dez. The combined looks from both of you wore her down and thanks to Meri, Dez had won.

Things have been relatively smooth sailing for the two of you since then. Like don’t get me wrong, establishing Dez as Queen of Junkertown is not an easy task, no transfer of power ever is. But you two, with the addition of Meri and Geiger are a great team. Things aren’t always easy, but you guys work hard and things go relatively smoothly.

Over time you get better and better at saying no to things that are too much for you to handle or that you don’t want to do. Being on the Queen’s council helps.

Besides, Dez is going to let you lift a finger if you don’t want to. You are her beloved and no one (especially not her) is going to make you do anything you don’t want to.

Coincidentally, you do really want to help her out whenever you can. Not because you want to please her, but because you love her.

Yomi Hellsmile and Martina Electro Relationship Headcanons (GN Reader)

Notes: I got really carried away with these! (O_O;) I was going to write headcanons for them together as well, but this post was getting super long. But if you're interested in that, feel free to send another request, dear! With the way my askbox looks, I'll become the person known for writing about Martina and Yomi. Not complaining tho, lol! I hope you enjoy the fruits of my indulgent labors.

Yomi Hellsmile

Getting into a relationship with Yomi would not be easy. He’s standoffish, rude, and devoted to his work. He would have to know you for a long time before even thinking about pursuing a relationship.

Yomi is surprisingly romantic. He knows he’s handsome and how to charm people. As director of the peacekeepers, he can take you out almost anywhere. His preferred places are ones where the two of you can be alone.

Yomi is the possessive type. Like the way Kanai Ward is his city, you are his partner. No one else is allowed to think about you he does. He’s got a nasty jealousy streak as well and isn’t fond of people throwing advances at you.

What he considers advances is vague though. Depending on how he’s feeling that day, someone just speaking to you in a way he didn’t like is eligible to be framed for murder.

Dates are few and far between. He’ll tell you early on that Amaterasu comes first. But sometimes he’ll surprise you with a night out. Yomi would buy out an entire restaurant so you could spend time in private. He enjoys more expensive tastes, so they’ll be decently fancy places.

When it comes to affection, Yomi is on the rougher side. Kissing would usually incorporate some type of biting, his favorite places being the neck and shoulders. He’s a strange man so he’s not above drawing a little blood.

He acts like he’s giving you some grand gift while being affectionate. Even if he’s coming to you for a hug or kiss, Yomi will tease you like you need him. As a fan of being dramatic, he’d go as far as calling himself ‘your savior.’

As much as he likes you, his sadism knows no bounds. He’ll be mean towards you, but in a somewhat loving way. If you mess something up, he’ll be sure to point it out, more than likely laughing. Yomi may or may not help you out, it all relies on his mood.

Want a kiss? That’s too bad, he’s much too busy to entertain you right now. He’ll come to you when he’s ready. Or jump on you the minute you turn your back.

There are two sides that fight inside his brain: one that wants to show you off to every and anyone, and the other that wants to keep his romantic life to himself. The first one usually wins as he can’t keep his hands off you.

If you worked at Amaterasu Corporation, Yomi would seek you out during the workday. Maybe asking you to do tasks for him like gathering files or preparing his afternoon tea. Or he’d have you accompany him on a homicide case. He thinks he can make you swoon by showing off his sense of justice.

If you were a regular Kanai Ward citizen, he would be a bit more private about your relationship. Crime is rampant there and he knows that there are very few, if any at all, people that like him. Yomi doesn’t know what he would do if some disgusting criminals were to harm you because of himself. Yes, he does, and it wouldn’t be pretty.

If you were a detective, it’s just a big mess all around. He wants to see your corpse hanging above his mantle yet craves the feel of your lips crashing against his so bad. Purposefully goes out of his way to be a nuisance in cases you’re working on. Yomi is not above an alleyway make-out session before sending the peacekeepers after you.

Martina Electro

Martina is a bit easier to court, but she holds herself in high regard and expects the same from her partner. She won’t accept anything less than what she deserves.

Unless you are in a position of power higher than hers, Martina would take more of a leading role in figuring out this relationship. She plans dates out weeks in advance, she is a fan of high-end café’s, shopping, and museum dates.

One fact about Martina that everyone is aware of, she loves talking about her partner. She’ll talk about you when brought up, she’ll talk about you unprompted, she’ll talk about you even if no one is listening. Martina will constantly sing your praises.

If there’s something to know about you, Martina will know it. She knows how you like your food and drinks to be prepared, hobbies, how you prefer your bed to be made. It sounds obsessive, and it kind of is, but this is how she shows her love. Her love language is being involved with your life.

Martina isn’t one to be jealous, she’s pretty secure in her relationships. People know her status as a peacekeeper and won’t come near you anyways. However, that doesn't mean that she doesn’t get possessive. Keeping you near her and in her grasp really gets her going.

Speaking of getting her going, she’s very reactive to affection. If your attention is a drug, she’s addicted to it. Holding her in your arms, kissing her anywhere, will make her flush a deep red. At first, her kissing is very clinical, like she’s analyzing you rather than kissing. But with time, she gets more enthusiastic, more relaxed. She doesn’t mind PDA either if you’re the one dealing it.

Despite her devotion, and borderline obsession, Martina is still her own, headstrong woman. If you do something she doesn’t like, she will be sure to tell you. Unfortunately, she’s stubborn by nature. If it comes down to arguments, it’ll usually be her way or no way until she cools off and gets more level headed.

Maybe it’s the homunculus DNA, but she enjoys your smell. There’s no real rhyme or reason to it. The familiarity of your scent is just something she likes. Borrowing pieces of clothing or spending time wrapped in your blankets are just heavenly. In the comfort of her own home, Martina would love to hold you in her arms, her face buried in your neck or hair. Watch out though, she has a bit of a drooling problem.

Motorcycle dates with Martina! Bring a thick rain coat, or not, she can provide one. She’ll take you out driving around the outskirts of Kanai Ward. There’re not many places that are very scenic, but there are a few places where the two of you can be alone. Make sure to hold on tight because she loves showing off with all types of tricks.

Post game, when she’s working in accounting, Martina will want to have a long talk with you. She knows the way she acted while working under Yomi was awful, and she wants to be completely transparent with you. However, working in an office now gives her more time to spend with you. If you surprised her with lunch one day, she might just die from joy!

If you worked at Amaterasu Corporation, she would want you by her side at all times. Follow her around and help at crime scenes. If you were a common peacekeeper, Martina would have you added to her team. Being her personal assistant is a fun thought. Her cute, devoted assistant that does as she says. But, that’s a post for another time.

If you were a citizen of Kanai Ward, she would be a bit condescending. She’s the beautiful vice director of the peacekeepers and you’re probably some poor office worker. She would talk down to you both unintentionally and intentionally. Nevertheless, she does love you. Martina would absolutely spoil you with gifts and lavish dates.

If you were a detective, she’s going to have a lot of fun tormenting you. Not much makes her happier than a cute face twisting in despair. Unlike Yomi, Martina doesn’t want you dead. No, that would ruin the fun too quickly. She would love to personally crush any hope you had of being a detective in Kanai Ward. She’s aware that she’s attractive and would try to use her charisma into getting you to join Amaterasu.

Hiii 👋 I just wanted to say I’ve been a fan of your blog since the good ole Downton Days and I’m so chuffed you’re a ACGAS fan too! Tbf right now the fandom is super down in the dumps (me included). How are you remaining so positive since Audrey x Gerald development in the Christmas Special?

Hi Anon! Thanks for your message, and happy holidays! So nice to hear from our old Downton Abbey crew again, I think a lot of us migrated here.

To be honest, there are a few reasons I’m not worried. (Sorry, it’s long).

1) Because I honestly love Siegfried and Audrey as friends and surrogate family. Their bond is special and beautiful, whether or not it ever becomes romantic. (Although I hope it does). They are life partners, involved in all the most important parts of each other’s lives. They have coparented Tristan (and James and Jess), they’re each other’s confidant and source of comfort. That’s special in and of itself.

2) Because I actually think they’re playing the (really, really) long game with them. I could be wrong, but that seems to be what the writers are doing. It seems quite intentional. 3 years on screen together may seem a while for some, and I suppose she’s been his housekeeper for around 7 years so it feels like ages. But imo, the best slow burns imo are the ones where you’re never quite sure if they will or won’t. It’s the little crumbs they leave scattered here and there, it’s the longing looks and angsty build up that makes it so delicious tbh. I just hope they get renewed for enough seasons to see it through. (Plus I am a Carson & Mrs Hughes fan, so 3 seasons doesn’t feel that long! Lol)

3) And lastly, because I don’t actually think they’re ready to be together yet. They’re still in the process of getting there.

Siegfried has probably had to longest way to go, in terms of being emotionally ready to realise, admit and accept that he has feelings for his housekeeper. In Season 1, he opened himself up to intimacy and the possibility of love again. He did that with Dorothy and then Diana, (although who knows why she’s been such a non-entity this last season. Maybe the actress wasn’t available?) And now, at the end of S3, he literally just resolved one of his biggest character arcs - his complex relationship and feelings for Tristan (and even then, only with a lot of encouragement and support from Audrey). He’s emotionally levelled up.

Now, I think it’s Audrey’s turn. Gerald befriending her/ pursuing her has allowed her to imagine she could be with someone again, after leaving her husband. It helps her relationship with Edward is also on the mend, since that’s been a source of so much guilt and pain for her. As for her feelings toward Gerald, they do seem to have deepened somewhat suddenly. I know some people said it felt very out of blue considering she had friendzoned him. But maybe she liked him all along and simply didn’t feel she could be more than friends, much as she wanted to. Or maybe it was brought on by the war, and him moving away. Either way, I think he’s a good man, simple and uncomplicated, which is just what she needs as she’s testing the waters of romance again. I think he’s also serving as a catalyst for Siegfried to realise the depth of his feelings for Audrey, which is v exciting imo.

Siegfried is also a good man, but things with him are as ever, more complicated. Their status as employer and employee, and long time friends also raises the stakes a lot more. Considering she’s a lot more self-aware, I think Mrs Hall knows she might have certain feelings for Siegfried (seemed a bit disapproving / jealous of his relationships) but I don’t think she has considered it could go anywhere. I feel that this budding relationship with Gerald will be pivotal in a shift between them. It might motivate her to get her divorce from Mr Hall, and resolve that source of pain from her past, too.

TL;DR All that said, I think they’re getting where to need to be, and I think we should enjoy the journey. It’ll be all the more sweet if and when it happens.

MM did SO WELL writing a series where all of her MCs were dating, but also had emotional friendships and truly loved each other outside of their romances. So why ruin it??? I mean, it would be really really cool to explore Iko's feelings about herself and her body and how a romantic relationship would look for her (since we only got it from Cress, who sees Iko as a regular person capable of a romantic relationship, but she's obviously a special case lol), but this book wasn't it.

so, you're correct when you say it'd be difficult for him to get over cordelia. that’s very true, unfortunately but also not unfortunately because once he’s with you? he sticks with you like a leech

not very attractive sounding, but..

starting off, richter would probably feel an immediate pull towards the servant, which is super conflicting for him.

a servant, of all things? talk about a downgrade, especially when he’s already in, i guess what you would call a relationship with cordelia, someone who is literally a daughter of a demon king.

now, i guess it depends whether or not he’s realllly into cordelia or is just in the early stages where he’s just pining for her a little bit.

in this situation, i’m thinking it’d actually be more likely for him to fall for someone else while he’s having his fling with cordelia. it sounds kind of crazy, but before he’s really fallen for cordelia, it’s less likely for him to even allow himself be drawn to anyone else because he has one goal; cordelia.

richter is a true romantic at heart. does he hate it? yes. he lowkey hates himself but that’s another story for another day.

this is something he considers impossible, because how can anyone love him and make him feel as good compared to cordelia? anyone else but her just sounds impossible.

him being a romantic at knows cordelia’s way of showing love is completely off, even for vampire standards. i truly think richter is someone who has yearned for that sort of.. love where he can let his guard down and be the person he really is. a type of love where he doesn’t need to constantly feel like fighting to be good enough, the type of love where he can just be a homebody and write his poems, as he does.

being with cordelia, as we know, completely changes him and he convinces himself that everyone shows their love differently. while that’s true,,, it’s not the case for cordelia. but even if he knew that deep down, how can he get rid of something that makes him feel so.. needed?

we know this man is willing to do anything for her, just for the sake of feeling that way.

now, pushing all that aside, onto his first meeting with the servant-

as i said earlier, it’s like.. a tug that pulls him towards the servant. it’s weird, he has no idea why he feels such a strong attraction towards them. i think richter is the type to swoon for a bit if you compliment him once, but..

a servant.

a man.

both would be firsts for him.

in fact, i don’t really imagine richter being experienced in any actual romantic relationships before cordelia.

the first interaction is probably brief, and no matter who initiates it, richter only slowly becomes more needy and obsessive. because he craves actual intimacy, it won’t take long for him to realize cordelia isn’t what he wants. but, that doesn’t mean he can break away from her so easily.

the second interaction is probably more impactful, because it’s likely after his first impression (which was already kind of developed based on his somewhat random attraction towards the servant), richter will seek him out once more.

he doesn’t like that he wants to see him so badly, but richter won’t go against his own wishes. he’s sneaky, of course, as yes, he does still love cordelia but he can’t help but be curious. also, at least he is willing to face consequences if cordelia were to find out.

once richter realizes that he actually feels good in the servants company, everything escalates a lot further. richter is an obsessive man and can be very clingy, but in this scenario he does have a few issues, that being:

himself, cordelia, and the fact that the person he is attracted to is a literal servant. the servant thing is one of the biggest issues for him because he’s so tired of living in his brother’s shadow. he wants to be as good as karlheinz, and dare he say, better. him having relations with cordelia made richter feel superior because of how ‘high class’ she was considered. it’s unfortunate, but richter has to get over his own pride first, as well.

eventually, he does, after waiting for his attraction to hopefully disappear, which doesn’t happen. he could have expected such, but refused to. he tries to blame it on things like, perhaps he’s just lonely, or something along the lines of that.

it isn’t until richter completely zones out, practically daydreaming about his new interest while in the presence of cordelia. it should be impossible, but it happened.

that is what kind of pushes richter to the edge, or at least near it, in a sense.

when cordelia is finished with him and when richter is left with some time for himself, he seeks the servant out immediately and hastily. it’s a bit reckless of him, especially considering the fact that he whisks them away to somewhere private.

while that sounds quite passionate, it’s not. richter is quick to accuse him without any hesitance.

“what game are you playing at, servant?”

naturally, the servant probably responds in a confused manner- sure they’d interacted more than twice at this point, but.. what game is he playing at? what does that even mean?

to richter, if he denies any of it, richter gets a little more.. frantic.

“no.. you’re no ordinary servant. you must have done something, i know it.”

poor servant at this point is like ??? um?

richter is as quick to leave as he was to bringing the servant to that little secluded spot. he needs some time to collect himself because he truly is distraught and confused as to why he even feels this way. and to do it in cordelia’s presence? something was definitely wrong.

spoiler alert richter, it’s called attraction.

it might take some time, but eventually richter comes to peace with the idea, with the help of his creative outlet of : poetry. and writing.

he likes to explore his feelings, and this isn’t exactly one he’s used to. he almost feels free, free from cordelia’s hold on him. it’s not completely gone, he still can’t deny his feelings for cordelia, but he’s gotten to the point where he can’t refuse his feelings regarding that servant for any longer.

because cordelia frequently occupies his time, moments with richter are rare, and i think that’s why, for the brief moments richter has had with this servant, makes richter feel more strongly towards them.

after richter kind of went insane in front of the servant, regret builds within him. richter knew why he did it, and he knew he did it to just push them away. yet, it was a fail because the servant still remained close in his mind.

in true richter fashion, he seeks out the servant when they’re alone. whether he’s finishing up work for the or whatever, richter swoops in. a nervous richter, at that.

he hates to admit it, but he is putting down his pride just to apologize to the servant. the scenario he’s in currently has ran through his head hundreds of times, and he is nervous about the outcome.

“i apologize for intruding, even more so for showing my face after our previous interaction...”

“allow me to apologize. i did not mean to lash out and act so rashly.”

eventually, assuming the apology is accepted, richter asks him to follow him. for whatever reason, i’m picturing them wandering off to a quite forest, maybe with a pretty lake or something-

during the walk, richter uses this as a way to get to know the servant. and it doesn’t help his case in wanting to pursue.. whatever this is.

expect a lot of private, secret meetings. he wants to avoid being seen interacting with the servant, not only for his own sake but also for the sake of anyone else finding out. he, at the very least, would like to keep cordelia at an arms length, at least in terms of love. he’s not falling out of love with cordelia because he was never in love with her in the first place, just obsessed with the attention he got from her.

that being said, richter wouldn’t fall in love with the servant quickly, but he does get obsessive quickly. even before and after cordelia’s death, i think the situation would be relatively the same, with the exception of not having to fear cordelia from physically finding out about his little rendezvous.

the servant will start getting little gifts and letters, which are intended to be anonymous but the servant will pick up quickly that their secret admirer happens to be richter himself.

richter often regrets it afterwards, but in the end, he indulges in his own wants, at least a little bit. he knows it’s a little careless, but his infatuation with them grows heavier day by day.

richter doesn’t ever fully ‘confess’, either, but oh does he wish he could just abandon everything to go live somewhere peaceful and quiet with them. but his life does not call for that. cordelia does not call for that.

honestly, i can even see richter taking in the servant with the excuse of : haha they’re my servant now.

or, haha this is my new personal assistant.

something like that lol

is it a risk? yes, but this provides richter with the chance to be close to the servant more. he really wants this unsaid unofficial relationship to work, and he’s willing to make arrangements. things just have to be a bit discreet.

also, it could get risky too because even cordelia herself might notice like.. richter getting a bit more flighty than usual, so..

honestly ngl this sounds like an entire fic idea at this point. a good one too

despite this, richter’s infatuation with them goes far and wide. he’s slow in courting, but is smart about it. he’s not selfish, though because he is doing this for the servants sake as well.

in short, it’s a slow burn - ish, because once richter realizes he has feelings for someone, it becomes a quick pursuit and richter dives in headfirst.

we know he’s a very devoted man, and this would apply to anyone he’s interested in.

long story short, it could definitely work out, especially once cordelia is dead. if she is dead already, that’s even better and makes things a lot easier for both parties.

🎁 (Have a piece of a WIP you want to share?) - I'm so glad you asked this becuase I actually have two wip's that I'm really happy about right now. One of them is an angtsy Racey fic, and the other is a pretty wholesome comfortish fic. Heres one of first paragraphs from my Racey fic - "The amount of times he looked through he and Casey’s text messages in the last 24 hours was alarming. The amount of times he had looked through their pictures together was even more so. He knew he was being dramatic, he could still be friends with Casey, he knew that, but he still felt like he had lost one of the most important people in his life. He knew Casey didn’t like him like he did, but still, the confirmation hurt." And heres a piece from my more fluffy one from Donnies perspective - "Depending on how severe the nightmare was, he sometimes would make a nest of blankets on the ground next to Raph’s bed. Though he didn’t like to admit it, he found it really comforting to sleep in Raph’s room, away from all his beeping and buzzing machines that he lived with. Eventually, he would come to Raph’s bedroom not only when he had nightmares, but also when he was frustrated with whatever he was working on late into the night. He found it helpful to rant for a short time, then curl up and sleep in the soft warm light coming from Raph’s night light."

💕(What is your favorite fic that you’ve written?) - Probably Fade Me Away! I like, can't stop thinking about it. Not that anyone reading this is probably interested, but my favorite of my It fics is probably Seeing You Makes it Better. I just think theres something so romantic about it that I haven't been able to bring into my TMNT fics at all.

🦈(Which character is the toughest to write?) - Definitly Mikey 100%. Don't get me wrong, I love him so much, but I just feel like it's really hard for me to relate to him. He really reminds me of my little sister, though, so I just try to think of her when I write him!

🚦(What sort of endings do you prefer to write: ambiguous, bad, happily ever after, etc.?) - My favorite to read and write are defenitly really sad angst fics, but with hopeful endings. Especially in my It days, I would often have the last sentences be that way. Examples, "Even if things weren’t exactly okay right now, Bill was certain they would be, as long as he had Stan on his side." Or, "Bill felt the weight of the night lift off his chest. He was safe with Stan, and he always would be. Stan was enough of a home Bill would ever need." I like the fic to really hurt, but I don't like to leave people walking away feeling compleatly unhappy lol.

Is it just me or has there been no build-up to the relationships in the recent books? I'd dropped the series after PoT after my interest waned a while ago and recently picked the series back up from where I was left. CinderLion in the first few OoTS books seemed like Lionblaze having a crush on Cinderheart and Cinderheart seeing him as an acquaintance or a casual friend and they suddenly started dating offscreen in Night Whispers. In Skyclan's Destiny, Leafstar suddenly started being cuddly towards Billystorm and said that she wanted to become mates with him even though she had never considered him like that prior. Also, unrelated but why did Echosong say that female leaders could not have kits? I dont remember that at all from the previous books, so I'm choosing to believe that she made that up, because she was envious that she could not have a mate and kits of her own.

Yeah it’s gotten better in recent books but it has been, very bad lol

I think a starless clan (the currently published arc) is definitely the strongest arc in a long time for relationship building (not necessarily just romantic) between characters. And shout out to the most recent SE Riverstar’s Home for some really good friendship build up between Riverstar and Night in that. Writing relationship build up has not been a strong point in this series for most of its history. But hopefully with these recent releases I mentioned doing well in that category, we might finally be getting consistently good relationship build up writing again.

I don’t know why Echosong said that about the kits exactly but it seems to have been related to the authors own rules at the time of writing that may or may not have been retconned (back around then they had it in their minds that once a female cat became deputy she could never have kits again). But in more recent books when we return to SkyClan (I won’t spoil much because it’s after oots) SkyClan cats do express admiration for Leafstar raising kits despite being a female leader. I guess even though it’s not a part of the code it’s just not the done thing? I think Leafstar is still to this day the only female leader we know of that had kits while a leader iirc. But at least one female deputy has had kits while being a deputy. I feel like a real test of this female leader rule will be if the other four clans have a female leader consider pregnancy/fall pregnant, because they’re generally more conservative than SkyClan and so if it really is not retconned, it would absolutely be challenged then.

My Main 8 Hetalia Sexuality/Gender Headcanons!

(These are just my opinions and views!! I love all headcanons, regardless if ours differ)

Feliciano Vargas (He/She, but really fine with any)

Genderfluid Bisexual (AMAB)

Has questioned his sexuality and gender multiple times throughout his life

Has always been fine with doing “girly things” and wearing feminine clothing, since he was raised by Roderich, who thought for a very long time that he was a girl

Since he is genderfluid, usually his gender fluctuates depending on the day, but her pronouns usually stay the same, though he doesn’t usually mind what you call her

Prefers masculine compliments usually, but he won’t complain!

Bisexuality comes with a lean for girls

Ludwig Beilschmidt (He/Him)

Transmasc MLM

Ever since he was a kid, he never really felt comfortable in his own skin

When he became a teenager, he started confiding in his brother, Gilbert, who is also transmasc, in regards to his dysphoria

Working out became a very good dysphoria reliever

Still struggles with dysphoria sometimes to this day, but has become better at coping with it

Has awesome top surgery scars!!!

Masculine compliments

Honda Kiku (He/They/It)

Transmasc AroAce

Never really gave any thought to his sexuality or gender, as they never really felt any romantic or sexual feelings/desire towards anyone, but this does not mean he is opposed to it

Their sexuality and gender just kind of came to him over time, it’s never really changed whatsoever, they just finally found a way to describe itself

Doesn’t like to admit it, but he picked up on it/it’s pronouns because of Yao (who I will get to shortly)

Also doesn’t really care what you call them, but he prefers gender neutral compliments

Alfred F. Jones (He/She)

Bigender MLM (AMAB)

Much like Kiku, he kind of didn’t give thought to his gender

He literally kind of discovered the label of bigender and was like, “What?? This is so cool, just like me for real”

Isn’t very open about he gender, but he is unapologetically out as gay

…Even though she makes those “I AM NOT GAY” jokes and will try to convince you he isn’t

He indulges in girly things in private, he gets a little embarrassed if someone catches him doing these things because he is insecure, but feels euphoric when someone doesn’t judge him

He would prefer if you stuck to just using he/him mostly, but will get really happy if you refer to her with she/her none the less

Gay dads Francis and Arthur had a very strong impact on him. Alfred looked up to Francis in regards to their gender expression, and he looked up to Arthur for his sexuality expression

Masculine and feminine compliments work! Prefers masculine, but loves feminine as well

He is serving cunt and loves wearing fake nails by the way

Arthur Kirkland (He/Him, but doesn’t mind They/Them usually)

Transmasc MLM

Kind of always has just identified as a boy since he was smaller and nobody really questioned it

Not the most dysphoric person, but he definitely feels it sometimes

Francis was his gay awakening, he will NOT admit this, but he doesn’t even need to. It’s literally so obvious to everyone

He didn’t really start connecting with masculinity until the British Punk Revolution, where he really started going all out with his sexuality and gender expression

Mellowed out since then, and really does cringe at some of the things he did, but he does fondly recount that he wouldn’t be as “gentlemanly” as he is today of it weren’t for that wave of rebellious behavior, which really helped him set his identity in stone

Also has really cool top surgery scars!!!!!

Francis Bonnefoy (Any and all pronouns)

Intersex Transfem Pansexual

Gender has MAJORLY fluctuated over centuries, but has always been pansexual (you know, attraction wise, since the label didn’t exist LOL)

Has always loved dresses and other things seen as “girly”

Isn’t dysphoric, he loves himself and embraces her identity

His pansexuality doesn’t have a preference for anyone specifically, but when he sees men he giggles and kicks his feet

Taught Alfred and Matthew early on to embrace themselves for who they are, they can love who they love and there’s nothing wrong with it

Any and all compliments appreciated!! He likes being called prince/princess though..

Ivan Braginski (He/They)

Nonbinary Aro/Ace Flux MLM (AMAB)

Has never really cared about labels or expression, he is what he is

He has times of romantic/sexual attraction, but it fluctuates and he can go from being pretty interested in it to being absolutely repulsed at the idea of it

Has a hard time with romantic reciprocation as it is. Can’t really fathom the fact someone is capable of liking them like that

Has no attraction to women whatsoever, never has been attracted to them

Kind of really shy when it comes to telling people he’s gay

He loves masculine compliments the most, but if you call him pretty or beautiful, he will absolutely lose his mind

Considering he grew up with his sisters, he grew up doing some “girly things”, so he does still like doing some feminine things.

Him and Alfred get along in that aspect, they relate to each other about being kind of insecure about their identities. They also do both indulge in some girly things. They probably both giggled and kicked their feet while laying on their stomachs and twirling the phone cords they had during The CW (I’ve been keeping most shipping bias out of this, this can be interpreted as platonic by non America/Russia shippers!)

Wang Yao (It/She/They)

Intersex Agender Loveless AroAce

Kind of like Ivan, also hasn’t really cared about how it expresses itself

Just really likes the idea of being genderless, she has never really felt connected to any binary gender

AroAce, isn’t repulsed by the idea of sex and romance, but they would rather not partake in any of it. Isn’t attracted to any gender, sexually or romantically

Uses she/her simply because she thinks the pronouns are super cute

Gender neutral compliments, but doesn’t mind feminine ones

Guys I kind of don’t even have an explanation for this because this HC is really personal??? HELP I AM TRYING REALLY HARD TO EXPLAIN

we’re revisiting The Hug

so like. i knew it would be this episode but the entire sequence of events is so fucking incomprehensible.

>ginro wakes up (kohaku is already awake and Just Watching with the rest of the group)

>ginro ogles kohaku IMMEDIATELY upon waking up

>kohaku punches him, teehee funnie moment whatever

>cue emotional shiny eyes from kohaku AND senku

>THEN kohaku runs towards senku

>senku turns his body to receive the hug, emphasis on his feet (not featured in the manga, but it’s both a transition shot AND to show that senku is an active participant in his own way)

>they hug, extra shiny eyes

>kirisame blushes.

> gen is like ‘oh right you still think they’re in a relationship LOL’

>amaryllis elaborates in agreement with gen that yeah their relationship is not romantic.

ok ok ok ok ok. EVERYONE CHILL OUT. obviously ginro is not going to take his almost death seriously (even tho he’s had serious moments before) i think the hug does have a deep feeling of gratitude, senku has shown time and time again that he can be trusted and he’s willing to risk everything if it means saving everyone, so the mission was accomplished…. but this is anime so it is to an extent some good ol fanservice.

i find the sequence confusing because kohaku was already awake so she could have hugged him immediately after waking up but she waits until EVERYONE has been saved in order to celebrate so i understand her reasoning completely, the tone shift is just really insane.

too much shonen anime has primed me to view this reciprocal emotionality as inherently romantic but several things do feel at odds. kohaku brings up romance when she meets him the first time, and then when describing her perfect romantic partner sorta implies senku bc literally who else could it be, but then the people around them are like ‘yeah no it’s not like that’

on one hand i’m like, the characters’ commentary on the hug feels pointed. like. telling fans ‘do not ship them!! you look silly when you do this!!’ but on the other hand, reverse psychology. the continual insistence that their relationship is not romantic (some other thing that is never named, platonic? familial? likely both) seems like inagaki might be negging fans to keep the ‘will they? won’t they?’ dream alive bc it maintains engagement. i’d be soooo mad if i was a kohaku/senku endgame believer either way because everyone and what feels like the author too continues to exclude one way of viewing their relationship. first gaybait straight pairing to exist.

im inclined to believe the characters commentary based on who they are and how they serve the narrative. amaryllis is a seductress (for lack of a better term) and can read men quite well, while gen is The Psychology Guy so his insight based on working with them for a couple years and his ability to read people is basically gold.

anyways they do not end up together in the canon narrative (LOL) so this rant was a little bit pointless, i was just taken aback by how they decided to animate this scene it was WILD.

#i came to the same conclusion that i did with the manga version but the anime version was just so baffling i had to analyze it again #wrote this before even finishing the episode 😭#d.s
