Stone had been working overtime, on Valentine's day no surprise, he didn't have much to do today anyway, so this was simply more of what he could give his doctor today. A small yawn before he got up to go make the doctor his late evening drink, for today he decided on a Red Velvet Latte (and topped it off with a heart with a mustache) he smiled before he went over to Robotnik's office, peeking in to see the doctor swiping away at the screen "Good evening, doctor. Your latte" Stone walked over, placing it down on the table beside him. Robotnik looked over with a raised eyebrow, nodding "Thank you agent" he said before waving him off.

Stone gave a quick nod and smile before returning to his small office, simply checking some emails before he had to pack up. Before he heard a faint "buzzing" and "whirring" coming into his office, he looked up from the screen to see a little badnik fly into the room, holding a little card and... a rose? The badnik flew closer, to his side holding the little offerings. Stone blinked, looking at the card and rose it held and back up into the lens of the little robot. Before smiling and taking them with a small "thank you" placing the rose on his desk before opening the card as the badnik flew away, Stone's smile grew as he looked at the card, it had a simple design, some flowers on the corners, but in the middle read "thank you, agent" in his doctor's handwriting along with a gift card for his favourite restaurant.

💥 ― a memory you wish you’d forget.

Gloves? He was... unsure about them. He didn't hate them. He liked his doctor's gloves! Those were nice. On Robotnik anyway. He doesn't know why anymore. That was so long ago. But rubber gloves were something different. He didn't like them, almost... repulsed by them. He would never wear them, always walk past them, never bother looking at them on the shelves.

It was a reminder. "A reminder that my mother was disgusted by me and never wanted to hold me, would always put these on because she couldn't bear the thought of holding me before they simply put me in that alley and drove away"

A reminder. A silly one at that.

A reminder he wanted to forget. But he couldn't. Of course, it was nothing compared to what others, such as Robotnik, had been through, so why even worry about one little thing. It's nothing. It's pathetic. Obviously, as everyone had told him, it was nothing. He stopped talking about it whenever someone brought it up if he accidentally visibly looked off when someone tried getting him to wear them. Change the topic. Look professional. Just smile, Stone. Put on that perfect assistant attitude. Be what everyone wants you to be.

Just go through your day, like every day. Ignore it, put him first. You know your worth to him, that's all that matters...

Seeing his doctor happy was always the highlight of his day. It always was, but when he was in a mood, he knew to keep out of the way, unless he was needed. Or if he could tell the doctor needed him. Right now, the doctor's mood was kind of a mix between him needing Stone and him wanting to keep to himself. Stone could manage. So he brought him his latte, taking a deep breath before he stepped into the room. His doctor faced the floating screens as he typed away, in his own little world, slightly tilting his head as he heard the agent approach before resuming his activities. "Your latte, doctor" A shrug and a nod. Stone simply stood there holding it out as he looked at the doctor's features, eye bags and his hair was more messy than usual... he cleared his throat "would you- like a comb?" he asked with his usual smile as he pulled out a small black plastic comb from his pocket with his free hand, offering it to Robotnik. A pause, before the doctor stopped what he was doing with a sigh, swerving in his seat and looked up at his agent with an annoyed expression. The scientist snatched the comb, quickly brushed down his hair and then looked at the cup Stone still held out, he quietly mumbled something before placing his hand on Stone's "thank you, agent" he mumbled. Stone's eyes lit up when he heard those words come out of his doctor's mouth, a small smile and nod They stayed like that for a few seconds, before he took the cup out of his hand and dismissed his agent.

Of course, doctor. I'll always be here.

No matter what.

🌈 ― a memory you’re not sure actually happened.

Stone had just walked in on one of Robotnik's dancing sessions, as always. His doctor was just lost in his own little world and Stone was happy to see it. He stood off to the side, nodding his head along to the music, he wouldn't tell him what he came here to say- Not yet- Or maybe he already knew, it didn't matter. Stone was just enjoying the moment and before he knew it Robotnik had grabbed his wrist and dragged him over, setting a quick but simple pace his eyes closed as he held his assistant close.

Stone was at a loss of words, as he felt like he was in a dream. Dancing with his doctor! A smile made its way onto his lips as he got lost in the moment, enjoying the music as he followed Robotnik's pattern but just as the song was ending he felt a hand lower on his back and then he slowly dipped him. Robotnik's eyes looked as blank as ever as Stone looked back up at him, the agent was unsure of what to do next, but he just stayed silent, looking back up at his doctor as he held onto his shoulder. The lights in his lab hopefully hiding his heating-up face.

This truly was a dream.

🙊 ― a memory you don’t ever talk about.

The gloves, the gloves his doctor had left him before his disappearance were something Stone would always cherish, much like the other things Stone managed to bring back to the base at the Café- But the gloves were something... Different. He knew his Robotnik wouldn't mind if he used them in his absence, after all, he needed to get things set up for his return. If he even did... But would Stone cherish them with every inch of his soul, he would put them away accordingly in a safe and secure place once he was done in the secret lab and not put them down once he'd get to work. One thing he really enjoyed about his job was designing some new outfits for his doctor, especially with these newer gloves his doctor had left (supposedly on purpose?). Everything came together so perfectly. He stood in front of the screen eyes absorbed by the beauty in front of him, swiping, swiping, swiping. He hadn't taken his eyes off of it for a minute to proud of his work, he hoped his own Robotnik would feel the same once he came back. Stone slightly tilted his head, before a thought came to mind, of all the things he could put the doctor in, what was one he was most curious about seeing him in?... Oh no-

Stone's face turned a slight shade of red before he gave a curious look at the screen. What would his doctor look like in... that? If he indulged in his... Fantasies?- So, Stone got to work, swiping, choosing some beautiful dark grey fabrics, maybe a little white choker and white apron-

Ohfuckohfuckohfuck- Stone immediately swiped his hands to turn off the program, looking away. With wide-open eyes as he slowly started to take off the gloves.

Taking a mental note to never bring that up to himself, ever again.

Sweet Pool references

this reference is one i was NOT aware of at all until very recently, so credit to @/slybluehologhost for pointing it out! and for the screenshots if they are yours! their post was the one i found this out from lmao

the CG of one of the first rhyme fights in dramatical murder, is a corrupted version of the Okinaga household cg from sweet pool!

here is the original CG. if you notice it's using 3d resources, something that dmmd didn't actually have a lot of as backgrounds. the reason is because it's leftovers from the previous game!

if you look at the CG flipped, you can see clearly that it is the Okinaga household living room/kitchen!

in my opinion this is one of the coolest refs on this post. bc i played dmmd before every other n+c game, i genuinely didn't notice this when i first played. its something that only people who played sweet pool would notice, and i just find that so nice! just a lil easter egg for people who know

sweet pool bgm is also present in slow damage!

another very very small reference that is extremely easy to miss is the fact that clear's nendoroid is in Mayu's room

if you zoom in on the parts i circled, you can see that the nendoroid box says 597. and nendoroid 597 just so happens to be the clear nendo!

Mayu's room is FULL of Nitroplus title references. so much that some of them I didn't really recognize besides the obvious, so i literally had to just go through the character lists on nitroplus games to find what characters they were. ur welcome for this incoming information that you may or may not have known

probably one of the most recognizable nitroplus characters in this room is saya from saya no uta, mayu has a figure of her in the middle! (theres more boxes of her but this was the most noticeable imo)

to start from the top, the one in the long maid like dress is Petrushka from Kikokugai - The Cyber Slayer

Next to her is Franco il Nero from Zoku Satsuriku no Django

Going to the 2nd row, though you can just barely see her, i found this character to be Echika from Tokyo Necro

Next (disregarding the obvious figures in between) to her are the two main characters from You and Me and Her, Aoi Mukou and Sone Miyuki!

i find it a little funny that they would put these references in because the audience for the people playing nitroplus games vs the audience playing n+c games are like VERY different but nonetheless, pretty cool!

while not a "reference" per se, sweet pool is heavily inspired by saya no uta!

this is something thats just a generally agreed fact, but i felt compelled to include it anyway because i rly love both of these vns and i love rambling abt them. theyre very similar in the ways that they both got meat n gore, and the main characters dealing with the meat n gore, and the general theme of just isolating yourself from people because of it and not exactly having a happy end. fuminori completely giving up his outside life for saya, destroying friendships n whatnot, and youji locking himself in his room and shutting out people who aren't dealing w his lil problem (makoto). the ending where saya wins and the red road ending shares some vibes imo. its all very similar even down to the soundtrack that had some of the same people working on it, and even gen urobuchi himself (writer of saya) worked on sweet pool as an advisor. so in my head its canon that these two games r brother and sister

Sketches and commentary on the Folly ref sheet for RAT's newest plush! (info below the cut vvv)

(note: RAT commissioned me to make the character ref sheet, which is NOT the plushie schematic that Makeship actually uses as reference to produce the plushie)

This is the first sketch we sent to Makeship!

I'm starting to add details to push Folly's identity a bit more and differentiate her more from RM (Rat Maid), i.e. neckline, nose, gloves, blush. Lots of curves! (And I also added two rats instead of one <3O~ <3O~)

At one point we considered giving her the eye design shown on the right (red thread embroidered around her eye) as a reference to her MC skin's glowing eyes, but we decided eye shadow was a better look. also it looks like sans undertale

This is the back! The Folly skin has a long pretty bow, but it's scrapped by the end because A. her hair obscures everything on her back and B. as we went along we increasingly afraid of the sheer mass of fabric building on this plushie.

Most of her palette is colorpicked from the original minecraft skin by Arathain (who also made RM!) but iirc we made the ears pinker and lighter. You can see their OG tweet featuring the Folly skin here!

Onto the dress design!

RAT wanted the Folly plush to feel like more than just a recolor, so he had me redesign her dress. I started off with an inspo board focused on elements we wanted to keep-- Folly's lighter palette, the middle slit of her dress, the off-shoulder straps, and the overall maid theme.

You'll notice that Folly's expressions here are kind of all over the place (I don't think she's ever looked that sympathetic in her life). I think I made these sketches before I finalized her face, where RAT requested some mixture of murderous intent with mischief, but in a subtle way. Later down the line the specific smirk Folly has actually gave the physical plushie a lot of trouble (faces do not scale easily on cone shaped snouts).

The first alternate dress designs!

RED: RAT (paraphrased), PURPLE: me ofc More refined sketches! As you can see here RAT's working me to the bone with all of his requests. It's okay though, b/c after I sent him the completed ref sheet I got to watch him turn on Makeship. (KIDDING, KIDDING)

Overall, I was looking for a dress that felt regal, beautiful, and unconventional, while still feeling like a maid dress. Wow, after physically typing that out I feel like face palming. "I need a dress for a GODDESS also a uniform good for housekeeping please" (???)

After feedback, I focused more on variations of the 2nd option.

You'll see at the last Folly, I combined the 2nd variation with the tie ribbon, the layered dress design, and long puffy sleeves. I decided to bring over the long puffy sleeves specifically because I hoped that they would give Folly a more interesting silhouette that of course contrasts with RM.

(To be fair, this contrast isn't very visible on the plushie itself but it is fun to draw.)

And finally, the second and last ref we sent to Makeship!

imo Makeship did an INCREDIBLE job translating the design to plushie!! I'm sure there's plenty of challenges Makeship's plushie makers have to deal with that we don't see, so I always specify that I'm only responsible for the initial drawing when people ask me if I "made" the plush.

One really delightful surprise were the 3d rats; we didn't think they were possible but they were (ilu makeship)!! You'll probably also notice that Folly's eyes look pretty different--- they were changed slightly in each step and ultimately ended up softer, which is interesting because I feel that it kind of mirrored how RAT's approach to Folly as a character changed in the months of the plushie's development (and up to her release!).

And that's all I have for my part of the plushie! I always love working with RAT on projects and plushies are a highlight. They're especially surreal to think about when we all used to joke about them before RAT really blew up.

A bit more of a ref for Nezabudka

NAME: Nezabudka

ALIAS: Forget-me-not, Flower, maid

AGE: On the moment of death 30, in other cases ageless creature.

PRONOUNS: All of them

HEIGHT: 5'2 (157,5 cm)

WEIGHT: 88 lbs (40 kg)

SPECIES: Floral fairy

BIRTHPLACE: Flower field.

APPEARANCE: Inigo hue of blue fairy, dressed in a thick web. On top of the head hair slowly turns into two false horns, additionally, 6 flowers of forget-me-not are sprouting at eye level from the hair. Going down legs slowly become transparent and foggy. At the back complex symbiotic tentacles are displayed (Lucid, Cogent, Lumi) and under them are atrophied wings. A big luminescent butterfly is placed on the chest as an indicator of proxy status.

PERSONALITY: Quiet and hardworking, this fairy takes their job to heart. It tries to ignore most of the household just swiftly cleaning/cooking. They are mute most of the time, when not they have severe echolalia. Very skittish, when out of work they get into the quietest corner of the mansion and sit there for a couple of hours.

LIL BIO: After being reborn to a floral fairy and with no memory, Nezabudka was welcomed into the birth field with threats from fellow floral fairies. Forget-me-not' are flowers that can quickly spread and kill off other species. Due to that trouble, Nezabuka started to seek out protection. After getting in touch with Splendorman and receiving a "job" they live on the territory of a "mansion" (which would just be a fancy name for a wormhole) and actively is overtaking the garden.

First off thank you to everyone who read/liked/commented on my story - I wrote it so quickly because of all the love y'all gave it 🥰 This post here is facts that didn't necessarily warrant a full chapter but stuff I thought y'all would like to know!

Juliette asked Maverick to walk her down the aisle; he tried not to cry at the honor she was giving him, but a few tears escaped

For the Father-Daughter dance, Juliette danced with Maverick to 'You'll Be in My Heart,' the song she would've danced to with Iceman had he lived to see her get married

Rooster danced with Sarah Kazansky to 'Beyond the Sea' to honor the woman who raised him and the woman who took over when Carole passed.

Rooster and Juliette married two years after getting engaged because of the news they received at the end of the chapter; they wanted their baby to be in their wedding and Jules wanted to get back in shape and lose some of the baby weight

They had two kids: Nicholas Thomas Bradshaw (named after Goose and Iceman) and Carole Michelle Bradshaw (named after Carole, obviously, and the feminine version of the name Mitchell for Maverick).

Rooster and Juliette both wanted to surprise each other with a way to honor their parents, and the secretly met up with their wedding planner to have honorary chairs set up for Goose, Carole, and Iceman (needless to say, both were moved to tears at the gesture)

Maverick was Rooster's Best Man, and Firefly was Juliette's Maid of Honor. Bob, Joey, Jack, and Hangman (yes, you read that right) were Rooster's groomsmen. Phoenix, Halo, Penny, and Amelia were bridesmaids for Juliette. Their color for the dresses and ties were- naturally- navy blue

For the wedding poem "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue," Juliette had her locket tied around her flower bouquet for 'something old,' treated herself to some Christian Louboutin wedding shoes for 'something new,' had her mother's diamonds as her jewelry for 'something borrowed,' and blue flowers in her wedding bouquet for 'something blue'

Rooster would become the youngest captain in naval history (Hangman was the second - this balanced out their little rivalry of the two air-to-air kills for Hangman vs Rooster's one)

Juliette and Hangman became best friends, and after some convincing, she convinced Rooster to let Jake be the godfather to Carole. After seeing how Hangman interacted with his daughter the first time, Rooster never had any problems with it moving forward; Phoenix was godmother to Nicholas

Love how i said i was gonna post and then posted once in like 6 months... anyway im going to use this place as an art dump bc why tf not i have a lot of art that im moderately proud of. I also use refs and template models for basically all my art cuz i SUCK at anayomy so, i included the one for the group which is a work in progress atm i just cant be bothered to draw rn because its 8am and i haven't slept :).
