Ness knew that Kaiser liked you even before Kaiser himself could recognise his feelings for you.

If you ask anyone else, they'll say they aren't sure, after all Michael Kaiser does not wear his heart on his sleeve.

But it's different for Ness

Being Kaiser's support as a midfielder and his loyal friend made Ness very good at judging Kaiser's emotion. And the one Kaiser felt for you was love.

Even his action spoke of such. Purposefully making eye contact with you from across the room, letting you sit next to him, long conversation that never seem to end. Even the small touches here and there did not escape his eyes.

Well, it's not like there was any bad blood between Kaiser and Ness. It's just that Ness can't bring himself to forget the pain and sorrow brought by Kaiser's words as he casually abandons him to go join another team. How he seems to forgot how hard Ness worked to let him be the star of the show. Now playing for different teams, they only have light conversations during events that invite all the German football clubs.

In events where you, a famous event organiser, were there.

"Hm? How is it that you're sitting all by yourself?" Ness did not hesitate to strike up a conversation when he saw the chance. "Oh, if its not Alexis Ness, care to join me for dessert?" "The only dessert I see is standing in front of me" he remarks with a wink, making you laugh sweetly. Oh he definitely understands Kaiser now. "Well but I'm not the type to refuse an offer from a cutie like you" "Oh another great football player calling me cute today, is it my lucky day or what?" 'Another' huh?

He guides you towards the couch where he orders a luxurious dessert for the two of you, on his tab of course. Conversation is made, him asking about you and you asking about him. It must have been quite a while before Kaiser's topic came up.

"So, for how long have you been friends with Kaiser?"

"Kaiser and I go way back. We used to be on the same team"

"Ah he did mention that! He's so debonair and sexy!"

"Oh really? Did something special happen?" You nod. "I said we'll go out on a date if he manages to score a hat trick in his next game. And guess what? He said he'll do it! Ahh he's so cool"

"Well that's Kaiser for you. If he said so he'll most likely do it. *sigh* but it is sad to see such a pretty thing like you being nothing but a name to cross off of his list"

You had 'shocked' written all over your face. "W-what do you mean?" Here it is. " Oh you didn't know? How he's just pursuing you just to get you in bed? Just a little bit of fun before he loses interest in you" "B-but how is that possible? I thought-" "Oh darling I wouldn't have told you about it if I didn't see many girls running out of his bedroom with tears in their eyes"

You looked genuinely sad, an expression which made him almost regret what he has done. "Hey, it's okay, you didn't know. Don't look sad. Here, put your head on my shoulder" Ness comforted you through the pain he had to create himself.

It was the next event where Ness met Kaiser, the one 3 days after Kaiser's match. "Hey Kaiser, long time no see! Congrats on your hat trick! It must have been difficult to pull off" Ness congratulated him with a handshake. "Of course, it's bound to happen when you're the best striker in the world" he has an arrogant smile plastered on his face, but his eyes are searching for someone. Ness knows who.

"Alexis~" "Darling! You're here!" You flug your arms around Ness, his first name rolling off your tongue showing your intimate relationship. Kaiser eyes widen as you proceed to place a kiss on his cheeks. You don't even make eye contact with Kaiser as Ness speaks for the two of you.

"Sorry I did introduce her. This is my girlfriend"

Pile 1, Your Villain era is that you want to take over the world, literally. The good part is that you have a limitless mindset. You believe in the impossible, as in, people would normally goes, taking over the world?that's impossible.

But Pile 1, you would go, "watch me."

You are confident in what you can do/achieved. Maybe to the point of whatever it take. The end justified the mean kind of villain.

You would be the villain that would do anything in their power, sacrifice everything they loved to achieve their goal. What do I have to get in order for me to achieve my goals?.I will bring it. Quite determined, even ruthless, you would make a formidable foe Pile 1. Because as previously mentioned, you have no limit. You don't know what that is. No limit can equate no weakness, no soft spot. You are so confident that you will win or eventually get what you want, so sure to the point of arrogant. And maybe you did accomplished your goal, but what's the price?. At what cost?.

However, your willpower and strong belief is admirable. That's why you would be a leader. I believe most type of Villains are a leader in some way, but, where are you leading them is the important part. You would be one that have loyal followers, even admirer. If you use those strong qualities for the greater good then you can literally create miracles and save a lot of life, instead of destroying them.

But no Pile 1, your type of villain is that you want to take over the world, maybe even conquered the whole universe. This possessiveness trait to owned thing to owned resources, to control the outcome or people goes against the natural law of the universe. You would be the type of villain that won't mind breaking the law of the universe, in fact, you would be excited to. Because you are so confident in your ability to do so, to win, that the more challenges the better. To make it more interesting more of a worthwhile journey for you. You would sacrifice everything to achieved your goal, even your own life. Who would win against that?

Because you are not afraid to lose, no pain no gain. To go towards your goal with everything you got. And you got a lot Pile 1, power, resources, followers, determination. Pile 1, you are a leader of villains, a natural leader with clear purpose and direction. Like the Avenger endgame, it would take a whole army of heroes to defeat you. However, your downfall will alway be your arrogant. Your egotistical sureness that you would alway win is the very thing that death throes you.

Pile 2, you are a type of Villain that definitely didn't start as one. Or accidental villain or one forged because of circumstances. E.g. Kathleen or Jinx. Quite a complicated villain. One that suddenly found themselves as a villain. You were just living your life choosing choices that you are definitely not proud of but can't undo them. What can you do right?. You would minimised your actions or your choices/deeds in the name of job/duty or survival instinct. Action that would definitely deemed as immoral. Like you wouldn't mind stabbing your friend in the back to get that promotion. Or you wouldn't mind taking job that are ambiguous or in a grey area because it pay well. You got to eat right?. It’s a man eat man world. And a job is just a job in your eyes, no matter what that is. There aren't that many choices in how you can live. You are trying to convinced yourself that it's not your fault, it's how the world is. There are no such things as good people or bad people, they aren't real in this kind of fuck up world. If a job require you to harm innocent people, it was just a job. Fullfilling your job request is considered good right?. A good employee. And you gotta get that pay.

More specifically, Kathleen might not be a villain, she found her self as the leader of a resistance. She was just a citizen in this fuck up world. I don't think villain exist in that kind of world. You could say,she's a survivor and her motivation was her love for her brother. But was it really love when she disregard his wish for her to forgive the people that got him killed?. More of, her motivation was her love for revenge. More like if she's can admit that to her self. How can you forgive people when you can't even forgive the world you're living in?. She didn't care that she wanted revenged. (If you didn't watch the last of us I apologised)But Kathleen is the best example of this energy.

The type of Villain you are Pile 2 is a justified one, in your eyes.You’re just giving back what has been given to you. “A brother for a brother”.Every choice you made might not be for the greater good of everyone, but that doesn't matter, as long as you get what you want. Pile 2, you are a man/woman with a mission. You have a job to do, a task to finished, a revenge to avenged, you are not a bad guy you are just doing what people made you do. You have a priority and you will see to it. The type of Villain you are Pile 2 is that you don't really care about the title, or how people would see you or what anyone think really. Because you just want to get what you want, is that selfish?, doesn't matter. And forgiveness?, that word does not exist in your dictionary. You wouldn't take the thing that you have to do personally, it's just a job,but, if the circumstance is reversed. If you were at the end of that job, Pile 2, you are a type of villain that hold grudges. Never letting go of it for a long, long, long, time. You would personally see what has been done to you, return to that person, in fact, you'll volunteer for that job. This screamed hypocrisy but again, you don't care.Hypocrisy would be your down fall as a villain Pile 2.

Pile 3 what type of villain you would be is one word, greedy. You don't know what enough means. Maybe it stem from jealously, envied, low self esteem or a lack mentality. Or you might just care a lot about what people think of you. What you have and what you don't have. Example, you would changed your phone or your car to the latest one to keep up with the trend. How you come across to people is very important to you, although just more in a surface level way, like what you are wearing, the brand, your outer look etc.

You might not be the big bad, grand villain that's threathened the world peace but, you are definitely a villain in your own life. For example, you would buy a brand new expensive bag because everybody have one even though you definitely can't afford it, leading to accumulating debts for yourself or your family. Heading towards bankruptcy or poverty. Just because you simply must have this brand name bag or that new car or that plastic surgery. Your inability to stop being greedy, specifically towards materialism will be your downfall.

It's not enough that you want more but Pile 3, your type of villain would be considered extremely frugal. Hoarded resources, not willing to share. You would be the type to look down on essential worker like waiter and treat them lesser than. Definitely not tipping and treat them like shit. A villain in someone else life, you put so much weight on social status and class and job titles, maybe even your whole worth on external things/validation, that is why you will never feel enough and will continue to keep on chasing shiny things. There's a blackhole on your chest that would consumed everything in it path like a vacuum. A type to married for money, a definition of gold digger. A villain on our society. A Karen to see a manager. A manager high on power trip. An evil stepmother.

What is your point of causing a commotion?a havoc?of making a scene, of complaining?. No point really. No point at all, just doing it for attention, and trying to avoid your own inability to tolerate yourself. How nothing is ever fulfilling for you. How no one around you should be in a better position than you, or else, jealously will be awaken and comparison and competition will start. You must be the best, the centre of attention, the prettiest. A narcissist, unpleasant to be around and lack self awareness, as your only focus is on how great you are and should be and nothing else matter. Your greed for shining things will be your downfall Pile 2.

What type of Villain would you be?Pile 4, is that you remind me of a government. An institution that suppose to work for the people but instead they are actually working against you, but not in an obvious way at all. A policain, a president, A person in a position of power. a judge that should represent Justice and fairness and morality. The head of an organisation But we all know that is not the case at all.

In fact, it is quite deep, intricate and dark. The type of villain you are, are ones that’s not for the people at all but, ironically you tried so hard to not let that fact slip or go public. You would tried extremely hard to promote yourself as the opposite of who you really are. The type of villain you are is the type to step on the oppressed to rise. Exploited the lesser and vulnerable to go higher up. Fly to the top at any cost. Because position and power is what you seek the most. No one can accused you that you did not aim high enough in life or that you're settling. In fact, you want to be in the highest position there is, sometime not in an obvious way. Think of a king and his adviser, normal people would expect the king to be the one with all the power, in reality, it is the Adviser that are moving all the strings. The one behind the scene that have the most say. You are the one actually in power but still maintained a facade that you're not, even though you got the king on the palm of your hands. And the only one to persuade the king to do what you bid. Think Capricorn energy the, the Devil energy in tarot.

You have a quiet presence, not too obvious or too overbearing for a villain, seemingly reserve, even conservative, bland. Even your desire for power isn't personal, but that what makes you a formidable foe and terrifying. Again think of a big organisation, like the government and the corruption, the hunger for power, the exploitation. The type of villain you are doesn't have their priority straight, but would call yourself a saviour in a straight face.

You do value your reputation that why you will fight hard to maintained it and umm, covered shit up. Promote an image that couldn't be furthest form the truth, think of a polician. In a way, there's a part of you that really believed you are doing it for the people, keeping the order and peace, protecting them from harm. However, you are blinded by what you are trying to do. How can you saved the civilian from harm when the harm is you?. The definition of harm is you Pile 4. Because there are already Divine order in this world, but it seem that concept has deluded you Pile 4. As your type of villain, you would try to govern that Divine order or messed with it. You could do something you're not suppose to, like a forbidden irreversible spell. Your cold attitude towards the people that actually gave you that power, your rigid rules, and your inability to see where the power actually come from in the first place (spoiler it's in the people that you had oppressed and step on) will be your down fall Pile 4.

Listing my fave Eriks (Phantomverse Of Madness).

This is a post i was suppose to make a long time ago, but i only got the time to write it now. I will probably make a part 2 with the "Worse/Less Favorite Eriks".

Remember everyone, this is ✨MY OPINION✨. No adaptation is free from flaws, these 6 Eriks are my favorite but they won't escape from my critics. And if you disagree, feel free to comment about.

6. MazM!Erik (2018)

We start with a polemic one. Mazm!Erik has an unique beauty and amazing hairstyle, his PTSD, the pain, the crying little boy inside of the man, the despair to be loved are still ON POINT. But let's not forget they turned him into a generic anime sociopath who does bad things because yes, and abuses Christine, and keeps Melek aprisioned, and other nonsense things of this mediocre script. However, MazM!Erik is still redeamable at some point and he has good stuffs.

5. Chaney's Erik (1925)

Our first adaptation, the 1925s silent movie! In my opinion, NO ONE played Erik better than Lon Chaney. No one. Like, this man, he's just fantastic. Chaney's hands, movements, the PHANTASTIC make-up, the expressions of pain, madness, anger and tenderness, OH MY GOD THIS IS HEAVEN!!!

ok but let's not forget the ending sucks and the movie tried at best to villainize Erik, this is unforgivable.

4. Merik (1986-2004)

Probably the most known version among us. Andrew Loyd Webber delivered us an amazing, outbreathing and beautiful musical that saved Broadway's story in the 1980s and brought Phantom back to popular tastes since then. Musical Erik has its questions, many people fan of the novel think Webber tried somehow to make him more manipulative and less redeeming. After all, even though people he killed weren't innocent at all, Erik isn't a man who runs out judging people and killing the ones he consider to be unworthy. He killed in EXTREMELY ocasional times in the novel. By the way, the way he constantely manipulates Christine and try to keep control as "the Angel" is just... no.

The original Erik wouldn't do this. He hates lying to Christine, he avoids at his best hurting her. Merik has more childish and toxic behaviour, even though he still ends up redeemed and changed out of his own will and kindness. We cannot deny Merik is one of a kind, one of the most iconic versions of the story. There are many actors who played Merik: Gerard Butler, Ramin Karimloo, Hugh Panaro, Norm Lewis, Ben Lewis, Michael Crawford, i could make a whole blog about my favorites and less favorites Meriks. And i'll probably do it.

3. Cherik (1990)

Look what we have here ❤️

"MY GOD, THIS PLACE REALLY IS HAUNTED" -- this and other funny lines are a gift of Charles Dance's version of Erik. The minisseries isn't very loyal to the novel, however, it's not a bad adaptation at all. This Erik is funny, shy, awkard and more healthy than most of the other versions. I disaprove anything about his version? Yep. First, he wears too colored clothes and is less "dark and goth" like other Eriks. Second, his mother actually loved Erik in this version... I think this was an unnecessary changing. Because the horrible abuse committed by Erik's mother is something EXTREMELY important that can't be changed. Mommy issue is an essence of this character. Should I talk about the "Christine looking like his mom" problem?

Well...

2. Kerik (1990)

Our favorite Susan Kay monologue! Yes, here it is. Kerik (or Serik as some people say) is funny, jerky and tragic, it's almost the same as Leroux's version, as it is supposed to be because "Phantom" isn't exactly an adaptation, but an explanation/expansion of what we've seen originally. Phantom is so good that we phans consider it as canon!

I can't help but say his relationship with Christine in this monologue is weird and a bit disappointing, though. Susan Kay actually started this "Christine looked like Erik's mom" shit, and it's not only weird, it literally confirms Erik's love for Christine was not real, that he only wanted to have a normal relantionship with his mother and Christine was a link to escape his pain. Ok, it makes sense Erik having mommy issues, but i disagree with Kay's vision about his love.

1. Lerik, The Original (1910).

Claps to our king, sis and bros. Gaston Leroux wrote this character with passion. This is my favorite deformity and vision about the character, the lines and the emotions are all just perfect for me. No one ever surprassed the original novel. Erik is a symbol, and a figure to many people. A broken, tortured, emotionally unstable man, who wants to fix everything his way, who doesn't have anyone to trust, who searches for love, pity and compassion, who searches for inclusion and tenderness from the society... but had everything despised and wasted. Erik, originally, is not a villain or a romantic hero. He is an anti-hero. He's the representation of frustrated people and abuse survivors who are able to LOVE, even after everything they had to pass throught. People who are able to recognize and fix their mistakes, people who won't sacrifice their beloved ones happiness for their own problems and fears. Erik is all of us.

My major prediction for the upcoming season

Season 4 is definitely going to be Benedict's, Jess Brownell recently said they switched to Colin's season but NOT skipped;

Marina's death will be different from its book version, I think she dies saving one of the twins, though I don't know if it will happen in season 3 or 4

Eloise will be lead of the fifth season, she will marry Philip, however, they will not have biological children, due to her fear of children, though, she will still grow to love twins as her own

Jess Brownell also said that there will be a queer storyline: either it will be Cressida, that's why see her being pressured by her family; or if it's one of the Bridgerton siblings, it will be Francesca, she'll still be in love with John and will have his heir, while his cousin/sister will be played by Masali, many have speculated that the casting call of "Molly" is code name for Sophie, but its description sounds more like a genderbend Michael than Sophie (On first meeting, Molly presents as a devilish charmer: quick-witted, fast-talking, always with a joke. But beneath that exterior is a perceptive, kind, loyal soul. She'll very rarely let you in that deep though, because Molly knows she doesn't fit into what's expected of young ladies and is afraid of being scrutinized too closely)

Sophie, I think, will be played by an East Asian actress, and my money on Jemma Moore, not only is she being followed by Luke's agency even though she is not their client, but recently when the actors were shooting a promo, she also had some photoshoot and tagged makeup artists who work specifically with Bridgerton actors

I agree, it's too early for Eloise's & Fran needs to marry John AND then him to die before we even get to her/Michael. Plus, Luke Thompson being so cagey in interviews indicates he's trying to not talk about Sophie.

I think Marina's death will be off screen either way. Ruby Barker has made it ABUNDANTLY clear, she has no desire to return to the show. Even acting in general. I can understand why after her treatment. Fans need to expect and respect that.

It's honestly too early to tell re. Eloise's story anyway. We have to see more development of her first to know.

I think Masali being a genderbent Michael is possible. 'Molly' could be code for that. If she were Sophie, the codename would have been another 'S' name imo. Sophie is NOT a devilish charmer, etc that's very Michael. So I think that's a safe bet. (although not a guarantee obviously) Plus, Masali looks EXTREMELY similar to Victor Allie (who's playing John)

Jemma Moore is still who I highly suspect is Sophie as well, the two things (which I put on a thread on here once already) you mention are the two biggest hints of her being Sophie. She also, about 2 months ago posted to her Instagram stories from a photoshoot set (the same photoshoot she and the makeup artist who works with SEVERAL Bridgerton ladies on photoshoots & events.... Started following each other and the photoshoot was art themed.... Which obviously is Benedict's thing.

Anyway, good theories anon! We'll see how they turn out when we get the show I guess!

I've been re-reading in that iron ground and I was wondering if you could tell us more about Michael and Max's relationship. How did Michael react at first when Danny told him? When did he even tell him? Because Michael only started working with Daniel in 2018, so they would have been together already, no? How does Daniel feel about Michael not liking Max? Also, does Blake have a better relationship with Max? Sorry I just have a lot of questions 😅

under cut incase it gets long

so i think daniel definitley told michael pretty early on in his and max's realtionship,or maybe even before as like a 'oh shit, i think i have the hots for my teammate, help mate,' kinda thing. So michael has known for a long, long time.

and i think in the begining, he rolled his eyes, like, 'typical Danny, wants what he can't have, this is never going to last,' so he bullied daniel relentlessly for fancying an 18 year old but other than that was like, whatever, he can do what he wants.

but then max stuck around.

and michael was mostly just irritated by him when he had to hang around him, because he saw max as this annoying kid tagging along to holidays, hiking trips and clubbing nights, but as you pointed out, he didnt have to be around max all that often until michael joined redbull. which was also the year that daniel had like, the worst time. and as a protective and loyal friend, i think michael blamed max (rightly or wrongly) as the source of that unhappiness, bc max was the new number one that redbull were pushing his bestie out for.

and then when daniel told micheal he was leaving redbull.... well i honestly think thats what sparked michaels out and out hatred for max. because daniel would have been honest with michael at least i think, and said that part of the reason he was leaving was for himself, but also maybe to preserve his and max's relationship because, 'i'm not losing my boyfriend as well as my spot as number one driver.' like daniel was realistic and could see that max was favoured, but also knew that if he stayed to be number two, he would start to resent him for that. at least at a different team, he could be number one still, even in a worse car (honestly, rip renault daniel, my beloved).

so michael ran with this idea of like: max as this kid who manage to SEDUCE my best friend and convinced him with his magic ass to leave the team!!!!!

and then michael was just a huge cunt to max after this, maybe made little digs evertime they were around each other. honestly, i love the bitchy michael narrative, so i can imagine something where they're in a room together alone for the first time after max's title (michael has come for training and daniel is in the bathroom, idk) and michael is like, 'congrats on the title, but you know that would have been daniel if you hadn't come along.' and max would be like, '?? it can still be daniel now, next year,' bc he has unwavering faith in his mans driving abilities, but michael thinks this is him being purposley dense or mocking bc like no mclaren is winning lol and says like, 'god you really are a fucking cunt, you know that?' which daniel hears on the way back from the bathroom and is like, 'woah, mikey, talk to my boyfriend like that again and i'll have to put you out on ur arse, you know that right?'

max i think mostly just has absolutely no time for haters, so matches michaels energy to a tee lol. like maybe at first, when hes younger, he tries hard to get michael to like him, but once its clear thats not working he's like, 'you want a bitch, i'll show you a bitch :)' and then proceeds to just glare at him lol

Things that did NOT Spark Joy-4x11

Tyler and Vlamis may be able to make an absolute FEAST out of crumbs, but that doesn’t mean I have to forgive the writers for fucking up this entire arc 🤷🏻‍♀️ If you want the Malex flailing, that post is here, but this post is All Salt, All The Time. 

First, I made these posts about Tyler’s absence so I’m not going to has it all out again, but I will say that nothing about Tyler’s health or ability to be physically present changes the fact that the writers bungled this whole storyline.  *chugs some vodka* Okay, let’s do this.

We are still so unclear on what Ophiuchus actually is. It’s become this season’s “The Science”, just a convenient name to drop in to conversations without ever explaining anything. Also, I love that now, after Max and Michael both have tattoos and we’ve seen the symbol pop up around them, that it’s suddenly tied to Ophiuchus. Clyde says the brand is given only to the loyal followers to make them family and Tezca couldn’t hide hers when she shapeshifted, but the symbol itself showed up on Bonnie’s glass, and all the way back to season 1 it showed up around Isoble when she was in the desert and they ladies who told Max about it said it drew itself around Louise all the time. But sure, it’s an Ophiuchus thing now. I thought their symbol was the U with the snaky thing through it? Or was that supposed to stand for “The Alighting” which is the other thing we still know nothing about?

 I was right when I said they would handle this “Liz addiction” storyline with all the grace of a raging bull in a china shop. And It’s almost funny how Liz’s actions and actually some of her words too aren’t any different than regular Liz, it’s honestly only her tone of voice that’s changed, saying things with a vicious bite instead of a more steady tone. But she’s absolutely told Max she needs to talk with someone who understands science, and the writers have had her be dismissive of Rosa plenty of times before, she’s just a little more cruel about it now. Maybe I would buy this if she had been huffing mist all season but it’s been like, a day. Which was apparently enough for Kyle to some up with a detox solution and reserve space at that place that still doesn’t know about aliens for her to do it (instead of, oh IDK, one of their thousand bunkers? Maybe the cabin in the woods designed by Kyle’s dad to be a detox bunker?) Yet when Alex goes missing for long enough for his hair to grow out and him to have quite a bit of facial hair, no one can be bothered to notice or help. Of course.

How is Liz going to re-create the “blue flame” in a lab when it’s not just fire, it’s tied to the ability to heal people (though for 3 seasons and actually the time he healed Liz this season, we’ve only ever seen it as a glowing handprint but sure, it’s the special blue fire now)? Never mind. I don’t care and the writers clearly don’t either, it’s just an excuse to make it look like they’re having Liz doing something because if she’s not doing science they don’t know what to do with her character.

*deep sigh* I said in tags on a post that as Echo is the “main couple” it’s expected that any other couple would borrow some imagery from them to show the viewers that these side relationships are the same, but that it’s weird to do it in reverse and pull things special to another couple and give it to the main couple because they should be the ones setting the tone. Which is why it never lands right when they take things from Malex to give to Echo like the turquoise. And honestly it’s so stupid because that was all about grounding forces which Max actually needs and Michael doesn’t so they could have made the turquoise an Echo thing all along! It didn’t ever need to be a Malex thing to then take and give to Echo.

I already mentioned it more in this post, but Isobel calling someone brainwashed and controlled just like she was “the most irredeemable person” she’s ever met is...ridiculous. Do the writers even watch this show?

I like Dallas, and Bonnie is fine I guess (entirely down to the actress making her likable because the writing is all over the place and she had FAR too much screentime and focus), but I just do not care anymore! Dallas should have been trapped with another main like Isobel and it’s absurd that the second Michael goes into the portal to look for Alex, the next cut is “we’ve already searched half the town” without showing us Michael looking. We could have seen Michael checking out their house, the junkyard, and all their bunkers, looking for (and maybe finding!) signs of Alex. Why not stick Bonnie on the roof of the Crashdown and have her set up flairs and wait for Alex to show, while Michael and Dallas searched elsewhere? Then, as soon as Michael splits off, we quit seeing him and focus all this time on Dallas and Bonnie instead of our main character looking for the love of his life!

Sidebar, who wants to bet “alien powers don’t work on lead” came up the day they wrote this scene and everyone shrugged and said “yeah sure why not”, completely forgetting they had Max moving bullets earlier this season. Maybe that’s why he was bad at it?

Why is Alex setting traps, and trapping people he knows? Why isn’t he hunkered down in a fallout shelter out bunker since there are 700 of them in Roswell and they probably offer more protection than a gasmask and cloak?

Love that Michael tackles not just a disabled Alex, but one suffering from radiation poisoning who things he’s dying and it’s just not brought up. We don’t see him wincing in pain as Michael is sitting on him, we don’t see Michael helping him up, we don’t see him limping when he’s been on his prosthetic for days, like, WHY?! It’s the perfect set up for some drama and for Michael to offer some tenderness, plus, why have Alex dying from alien radiation when he easily could just have gotten an infection because he’s disabled and unable to properly care for his leg? Oh right, because then the writers would have to care about Alex outside of Michael and they clearly cannot be bothered. 

Also, creating an entire dimension the size of Roswell and leaving an open portal anyone could fall into makes NO sense, especially since it’s just supposed to be a trap for Jones. Which, considering Tezca heard about that plan from Theo, and she got taken by Jones before they left Oasis, why did they continue having that plan?! If she knew all their plans and that it was a trap, why would Theo chose to make it when they got to earth? This whole plot is so duuuuumb!! But on top of that mess, you have Bonnie making comments about popcorn and gummy bears at the drive in but like, WHY would Theo have crated food? Would any of it still be good if it’s earth food sitting in alien radiation for 75 years? If it’s breaking Alex down after a week or two, how has anything else survived that long? The whole place should be falling apart, no? 

How many caves are there now? Clyde has Liz in one apparently owned by Jones. Is that the same cave Nora and Lousie trapped Jones in (for 70 something years without him aging at all)? Or was that a different cave. Also, if Jones had a cave on his land, why were he and Tezca hiding in a cave on WALT’S land? Why did they know about it, or was it happening to belong to Walt just a coincidence? Why did we need that whole side story about Walt and his land when Clyde didn’t even keep using it and all it did was make everyone ask why TF Walt didn’t move the alien pods onto his private land? 

Clyde says he doesn’t need an engineer, he needs Liz and her biochem knowledge to get around the “lock” Theo put on the portal, but it’s just because the brand has alien glass which...still sounds like an engineering solution would be easier instead of a “serum” of some kind. Hell, cutting the brand off would be easier! But again, the writers don’t know what to do with Liz if she’s not making a serum. 

So Shivani IS the bad guy this season? Okay. I don’t care. I only care that because Liz took her to see the pods, she was able to take them. And that wasn’t even Evil!Liz. 

As much as Max is at his best when he’s allowed to be soft and supportive and a cheerleader for Liz, I am very much disliking this storyline of her making demands on his bodily autonomy, and him being made to look like the bad guy for standing his ground on that choice, only to relent when he thinks he might lose her and this idea that he’s going to step up and be the man she needs him to be, instead of the kind of man HE wants to be. Because this is the Echo problem! Both of them get twisted out of shape and unhappy trying to be what they think the other wants instead of being themselves. Because season 1 told us they genuinely liked each other for who they were! Liz was brilliant and Max adored that about her! Max was quiet and kind and Liz loved that about him! But they have spent the past several seasons showing us a Max and Liz who are fundamentally different people with different goals, and different moral stances on things! I feel like the writers saw the phrase “opposites attract” and decided to do that with Max and Liz, without realizing the “opposite” is not life goals and moral compasses. It’s a shame because Echo could have been so good and when they are allowed to have their moments Jeanine and Nathan deliver!

I cannot believe after everything Rosa suffered and how hard she worked to FINALLY get out of Roswell and build her own life, that the writers think it’s in any way satisfying to have her come back to be Liz’s “sober companion” like this hasn’t been 2 days out of Liz’s week and like she doesn’t have multiple people perfectly qualified to do that instead. Rosa is still barely out of her teens, let her live her life!

To quite the spoilertv review, WHOMST burnt the trees?!  Why did no one see the smoke of an entire grove of trees burning down that Alex was recently at? Either we have a whole new mystery to solve in the last 2 episodes, or it’s just another plot hole reason to keep them from saving Alex for another episode because this show has never understood how to pace anything.

Far be it from me to say m*ria should be getting more screentime, but out of every episode this season, this is the ONE that feels like she needed to be in (Mimi’s death has served no purpose so we didn’t need that to happen at all), so of course she’s not here. As the one who is supposed to be Liz’s best friend, why didn’t they have her at the intervention and Isobel the one psychically connected to Max and Michael, keeping an eye on the portal? Why didn’t they have HER being the one controlled by Clyde and in danger to motivate Liz instead of some rando side character we barely know or care about? Why have HH, who has had some pretty disrespectful things to say about people’s (typically Malex fans) genuine hurt at THAT triggering episode, directing the big Malex reunion episode when it’s an episode her character actually had a purpose to serve for once? Why have her direct a massive Malex episode and a reunion fans have been waiting ten weeks to see, knowing she would get all the post mortem interviews so instead of getting Vlamis or Tyler’s thoughts on these pivotal Malex scenes, we had to get the thoughts of someone not part of the ship who has talked down to fans? And that’s not even getting into the ridiculous writing choice of taking away m*ria’s powers for the *drama* only to give her basically Rosa’s power, but supercharged so they could wedge her into the middle of the Malex relationship, literally making a gay man go through a woman to reach out to his boyfriend, and the incredibly gross scene of Malex having to stop and talk about how they couldn’t have ever been reunited if it wasn’t for m*ria. Give me a fucking break. (At least I get a final cackle that her “schedule didn’t work” so she’s not included in the Vlambase finale character drops.)

Speaking of gross m*ria things this episode, why the FUCK is she telling Rosa about Kyle and Isobel’s personal business? It’s not as bad as her outing Michael to Liz, but it’s not far behind. For some unknown reason (j/k the reason is m*ria has no purpose and if they didn’t take things from other characters she’d have nothing to do)  Alex wasn’t allowed to be Kyle’s confidant last season about Isobel, and Michael wasn’t allowed to be Isobel’s this season, but m*ria is just going around blabbing their personal business to Rosa. She’s literally the WORST.

I have never been so happy for a show to end and characters to be taken out of the hands of incompetent staff.

Couldn’t agree more with you. Taylor’s HOH was supposed to be quite an easy week, she has 4 available targets (3 if you don’t count Jasmine because Taylor said she wasn’t nominating her under any circumstance) that she could put up. I think one of the biggest mistakes Taylor made was suggest Monte and Turner go up together as pawns. I was watching feeds last night and I could just tell Turner is definitely going to hold that against her in the future because even he has noticed how messy this has all been. Don’t get me wrong I would love for Taylor to win BB but there are also other people still in the game who are playing a much better game than her. And I agree twitter stans will attack anybody who says Taylor has had quite a bad HOH. I don’t think they understand that everyone is playing an individual game that is not catered to favor for Taylor to win because at the end of the day only one person can win, and everyone is greedy and selfish which comes with the territory of playing big brother.

I don't watch the feeds directly and I have long since learned that it some cases it's better to stick to the recap sites than random tweeters because they are rarely subjective.

That said, the thing is I think Taylor could have smoothed it over with Turner after the fact with a quick apology. Because say what you you want about Turner in that I do think he's a very loyal person and so that being the first thing that happens during her HOH was a huge red flag for him, especially after his HOH week being the one that flipped the game for the LO. And I get it...Taylor has had to be a pawn several times and he hasn't as yet, but I also think he was willing to be during Festie Besties. Now it's a different scenario and I also think it was partly Taylor promising the other side of the house safety this week initially before even talking to anyone in her alliance?

Which is not to say I'm on board with Kyle or even Michael and Brittany if they use racist language- coded or otherwise. On no planet are Monte, Joseph or Taylor bullies. But I also don't expect other people to roll over their games for her.

Also why would anyone think Kyle would use the veto to send his showmance out of the house. All it should be telling everyone else is that they should be targeted and broken up next.

Houseguest Ranking Week 3

So yet again literally everything has fucking changed, so uh.....here we go! We are due for more rankings my friends.

 1. Taylor (Prev 1)- Here’s the obligatory #1 spot for the queen herself. She continues to still be nice to everyone who is fucking her over, and she’s finding her way through the game! We love to see it. 

2. Michael (Prev 2)- He is still my fav other than Taylor, and I knew he would come through and work with the underdogs. He is exactly who I would love to align with in Big Brother and god I love him his brain!!!! Exellent. 

3. Turner (Prev 9)- If you told me that this man would go from 9th to 3rd in one week I wouldn’t believe you. I actually never hated him, and thought his interview was pretty cool. The only reason I was wary about him was because of the family twitter drama and he wasn’t super active or relevant until this week, but this week he came through, called out the bs happening in the house, showed sympathy for Taylor, and crafted a master plan to put a target on Daniel’s back. A bisexual king if I do say so myself. 

4. Joseph (Prev 10)- He has been brought back into my good graces. The fact that he speaks to Taylor and is super nice and understanding as well as compassionate and smart? This guy gets it and he could go far in this game, and honestly I wouldn’t mind. Joseph (25), everyone. 

5. Brittany (Prev 4)- She went down a little because others just surpassed her, but also homegirl is still running her mouth and talking to everyone. She expresses how she feels like an outsider and is happy to be working with the other outsiders, but then rushes over to the other side of the house and talks to them like nothing’s wrong. Don’t get me wrong, she plays an excellent misting game bc of this, but I can’t help but wonder who she actually wants to align with. 

6. Kyle (Prev 7)- He moved up for obvious reasons, but I don’t want to put him too high bc he is still a Mormon Trumpie and I refuse to trust that shit. He is becoming a lot more tolerable though and provides some good content, so props for that! 

7. Indy (Prev 3)- Indy moved down a bit bc she has disappointed me. All you have to do is put this woman on slop and suddenly she becomes this stuck up brat who cries and complains all the time, then takes out her frustration on everyone else. Get over it, you are a whole ass adult and others have had to go through the same fucking thing. Jesus.

8. Monte (Prev 15)- I still do not trust this guy and he is the least loyal to the Leftovers imo, but since he seems to be believing Taylor (finally) and letting her in just a little bit, maybe he can have some rights back. I am genuinely surprised that he is part of the underdogs but hey, he opened his eyes and now he’s playing the damn game. 

9. Terrance (Prev 14)- He may be back into spot #9, but nothing will get me to ever like this man. The only reason he is up here is because he is in the middle of the house and has toned down his language when speaking about women, but he still fucking sucks. 

10. Ameerah (Prev 6)- She keeps moving back and forth for me, because I liked her gameplay at first, then she got annoying, then she got good again, and now she’s just flopping? Homegirl is so cocky confident that she is safe and is just letting Terrance “take the fall” but she has no fucking idea that she’s about to go home. What a disappointing flop tbh, I expected better from my Maryland girl but holy shit this is......she’s just there to be mean, that’s all she is now. 

11. Alyssa (Prev 8)- She’s going down again because this Kyle shit is getting so fucking annoying and creepy to the point that I want Kyle and Taylor to get together just to make her mad. Literally I’m so over it and he’s all she talks about like THIS IS BIG BROTHER. Not Love Island. Not the Bachelor. Big. Brother. 

12. Jasmine (Prev 12)- No change. Same annoying accent. Same overused country lingo. Same fake injury. Get her out I can’t stand her. 

13. Nicole (Prev 5)- What a big downgrade. Just when I thought this woman actually wanted to start playing the game, she gets all weird and pissy and emotional again. Homegirl had it so far in her head that she was getting some power if Taylor got evicted that she wouldn’t stop pushing for them to go up, and then got mad because Taylor tried comforting her? This woman is out of her mind and is power hungry. I wonder what kind of cop she was because this is the type of behavior that makes ACAB a real satement. 

14. Daniel (Prev 11)- This man has managed to drop down lower than Monte, which is shocking because I thought he was just a p*do coward. Nope, he’s also a sexist narcissist! He’s weird! Yelling at Taylor in front of everyone and blaming her for Paloma self-evicting, then deflecting a fake-ass apology? Fuck this guy truly really fuck this guy. Also he and Nicole are fucking weird sexualizing all the girls in the house like what the fuck is wrong with you weirdo???? Ewwww stay away from them. Wtf.

(Personally, I think that Asmo/Beel need the most out of the brothers, and Barbatos needs more. Not the most, just more.)

1.) Definitely Asmo, I think! We always get so little development for him, the only thing we got was the story about how he met Solomon but even then the story was more for Solomon's development than it was for Asmo's.

Beel doesn't get much either but I think S3 gave him more than S2, with the way they spoke about why he's so loyal to Lucifer

With Barbatos, I feel like we're being deliberately left in the dark and fed little titbits of information - and that's why he refuses to answer questions even though MC can directly ask him things. And it makes sense that he doesn't answer them cause he's nowhere near as close to them as any of the other characters are. But I think in due time they'll develop him more

2.) Raphael! They teased him a lot in S3 and there are so many questions surrounding him PLUS he's already deeply connected to questions about Simeon, Michael, the brothers and the Celestial Realm - which I feel will all be big plot points

13 might get the second place of importance cause they could be tied to questions about Solomon's past which was teased at in S3 and which may also be a big plot point

• When MC more or less tells Mammon, both their entire lives would be easier if he just admitted that he was in love with them

•There are so many amazing Mammon & MC moments in S2 and I can't list them all but pls know they're all added here

•The brothers and MC each giving a part of their soul to save Beel

•Mammon saying that not having a pact with MC won't change their relationship and then initiating a hug with MC and MC thinking that they could feel the bond between the two of them grow stronger

Now that I think about it (thanks to your post yesterday), that's probably why they had to wait until Marina was dead to put Phillip and Eloise together. He's not just the type to throw his wife away for another woman, and she would be too good herself to go after him if Marina was around, so we would get nowhere. (Although given how miserable he was, if she was just around and there wasn't anything romantic about it, do you think he'd strike up a friendship with her and be in her company, with a chaperone, of course, for a little bit of cheering up?)

You're right, although I'm not a fan of the dead-wife-to-further-male-angst plot device, Phillip and Eloise wouldn't have have gotten together until after she passed away in any other plotline. because divorce didn't exist in Regency England. to give an extreme example, it’s also the reason why Jane Eyre and Edward Rochester absolutely had to be separated as soon as the reader finds out he’s married even if it’s in name only. 

And I thought the angst couldn't be worse in this scenario, but now I'm realizing Eloise could have been Michael AND Penelope. Crushing on a friend who is also her cousin's husband.

The angst!

Imagine Eloise starting out as friends with Phillip, because you know, he's the husband of her cousin, she'd want him to feel included in the extended Bridgerton family gatherings, just look at how well she gets along with Simon and John. But it turns out he's actually someone she enjoys spending time with so they become friends who get along really well.

But halfway through them being friends, she realizes she's got a crush on him. On her friend, who also happens to be Marina's husband. Marina who is getting sadder and sicker by the minute and how could she dare have feelings for him when his lawful wife is slowly spiraling into a mental illness nobody seems to be able to cure.

And on Phillip's side, being Marina's only support and caretaker, super grateful for Eloise friendship, just maybe wondering, just a little bit what it would feel like if he had a different kind of marriage, with someone who actually wanted him around, like his friend Eloise. But also being too loyal to Marina to even consider dishonoring her even in his thoughts.

Then Marina dies. And the angst with feelings commences

I think in this scenario it would take the divine intervention of the 3 Bridgerton brothers to push them together, not just Colin's little nudges. Like what he did with Michael.

To get over all that angst they would need all the sexy scenes of When He Was Wicked and To Sir Phillip with Love.

On the other hand. If the show were to explore that tangent, it would be a little less angsty I think, because in the show Marina is not related to Eloise and at this point after season 1 Eloise knows that Phillip and Marina are not inlove and just got married for to save Marina's reputation.

So maybe she's doing her feminist rebellion thing and she befriends Phillip on one of those times he's in London with Marina and Eloise is hanging out with Penelope. It would be painful to watch, because it would be played off as Eloise having her first inappropriate crush on someone out of her reach, because he's married, even if it's to Marina who he doesn't love. And she's a debutante in her first season.

The emotional damage on Phillip's side would also be x100. Marina being the strong person she is on the show, and probably having more influence in his life than book Marina, bringing Phillip to the realization that his marriage could be better if he tried harder, Phillip actually trying to make things work with Marina. But also meeting Eloise, who really makes him happy and no, he shouldn't be crushing on her, he needs to be loyal to his vows. He's just a honorable man in a very sad, unresolvable situation.

Show Eloise and Phillip having one of those loves where ‘it’s the right person, but not right now’ thing that Regency Romance does so well may even make sense for the show. 

Then the couple meeting up years later when Phillip is a widow. Because Marina either fakes her death to go and have the freedom she deserves. Or actually dies, in a less depressive circumstances because me thinks that if show Marina doesn’t fake her death, she will most likely die heroically, in an accident to save her children, or pushing someone out of the way of an incoming carriage. 

And then Phillip and Eloise meet again and they are finally free to explore their feelings for each other and it’s a nice way to begin their season.

Michael Myers

Yet another quiet night spent waiting for Michael to return from his 'night job' and you were spending this lonely night watching horror movies like you usually did. The character wandered around in the dark helplessly trying to distance herself from the killer and just as the killer jumped out, there a knock on the front door. You jumped up and turned to the door and checked the time, Michael wasn't meant to be home for a few more hours. Suspicious, you grabbed the knife sitting on the coffee table - Michael taught you how to defend yourself although he still worries you'll end up stabbing yourself instead of any intruders - and creeped up to the door, you knew Michael wasn't one for knocking and usually just barged in since you always left the door unlocked for him.

As you got closer you could hear talking. "- Shit what if I got the wrong address? Y/N? Hello? It's me, Y/F/N!" You froze and dropped the knife, you haven't heard from this guy in years, how did he find you? You quickly picked the knife back up and slid it into the waistband of your jeans just in case and opened the door, and yeah it was him alright. "Y/N? It's really you?" Without warning he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you in for a hug which you returned, the two of you broke apart and your friend let himself past you into the house, you weren't planning on doing anything because you knew Michael wouldn't forgive you but you were still worried about what would happen if he came home to find this complete stranger in his house.

"Y/F/N, I hope I don't sound mean but what are you doing here?" "I wanted to do this" He pulled you in and kissed you, smiling as he pulled away but that smile faded as he realised you weren't even looking at him. "What is it, Y/N?" He said amusingly as he followed your eyes and turned around to see what you were looking at, only to be stabbed in the chest by the infamous Shape, Michael Myers. Michael removed the knife and watched Y/F/N fall to the ground, calling for your help before passing out. Michael slammed the door and stared back at you waiting for an explanation to what he just witnessed.

"I swear I didn't kiss him back. He just found out where I was living, came in and kissed me." The words felt like a lie as they passed your lips but you weren't lying. You were scared Michael was going to kill you as well but instead he just stood there and continued to stare. "I don't have feelings for him, he was just an old friend from school." You heard a grunt coming from behind the mask as he approached the body and picked it up before disappearing outside with it. You yourself decided to disappear upstairs and go to bed.

You waited and waited for Michael to join you but he never did. At one point you got tired of waiting and got tired in general and decided to just call it a night and fall asleep and if you got stabbed mid-dream then at least it would most likely hurt less. At one point you woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of someone shuffling into the room and the creaking of the floor. You lazily turned to just see Michael in your view and yawned as you sat up and switched on the lamp beside you, he was taking off his coveralls which looked a little more bloodier than usual which did raise a few questions that you were too tired and too concerned to ask, but there was one question you felt like you had to ask.

"Do you hate me?" Michael looked over at you and tilted his head in confusion as his bloody clothes fell to the floor and he slid on a different t-shirt. "I swear he just kissed me but I didn't kiss back. Do you hate me?" Michael didn't move for a few moments but eventually he removed his mask and shook his head, then he got into bed and pulled you into his body. You turned off the lamp as he lazily played with your hair. You felt like he was still mad at you to some extent, but knowing that he decided to let you live another day was a relief.

Jason Voorhees

Sometimes it got very lonely at Camp Crystal Lake, as much as you loved Jason you also missed a lot of your friends and family who you never got to see since Jason hated being away from you and he also hated letting people leave the campsite alive. Sometimes you'd bring up letting a friend visit for just the day but Jason would always either shake his head or sign "No." at you. Jason felt a bit guilty for saying no but he was afraid of losing you and just knowing that there were people out there who were 1000% better than he was made him want to shrivel up at the bottom of the lake.

As worried as he is, he trusts you a lot so he waited until you were ready to ask the question and signed "Yes." before you could even say it. Your smile warmed his heart and he knew that you had no ill intentions with this friend of yours, the only thing that saddened Jason was that he couldn't meet this friend of yours and would have to hide - or in this case, lurk in the background just in case.

Jason couldn't help but feel a bad vibe from that friend of yours but he didn't want to ruin the moment so he just watched from behind a few trees. Everything was fine, you and your friend were sitting on the pier with your feet dangling over the lake, just talking about drama you missed in your hometown. "So, what's with you living on this campsite?" "Oh I don't live here. My house is through that forest-y area over there, I just like coming here to clear my mind."

"Can we go back to your place?" "Oh, I didn't finish cleaning. Lets just stay here for a while" you lied but your friend was already getting up and walking around so you followed him, hopping as you tried to keep up with him as you slipped your shoes back on. You were hesitant but guided him to the old cabin you and Jason were still revamping in the middle of the woods. You looked up and noticed Jason peaking out from behind a bush and subtly nodded at him as reassurance at everything was okay.

You were making lunch for the two of you when you noticed your friend sneaking looks at you through the reflection in the window in front of you but thought nothing of it. You looked past the reflection of your friend's face and out the window to see Jason was staring at you again, you smiled and signed "I am okay." at him, only seconds later your friend was behind you. He grabbed you and turned you around. "I've been wanting to do this for a long time." He paused before going in to kiss you softly.

Jason wasn't happy, watching the scene take place, he was at the cabin and before you knew it, Jason's machete's was lodged into your friend's skull and then he was dead. At that point you were worried that Jason had lost all trust in you and was probably going to kill you as he took a step closer to you and grabbed you but instead he pulled you in and enveloped your body into his and you began to cry and endlessly apologise.

A long night of cuddling and reassurance will fix it. Jason got rid of the body long ago and made you tea immediately after that. "I'm sorry." You signed at Jason. "For what? It was his fault and I know you'd never do that."  It was comforting to know that Jason didn't hate you or blame you for it. Sure you were sad that one of your close friends was dead but you were also relieved that Jason was there to help.

Brahms Heelshire

"No, No guests allowed! That's the rules!" Brahms angrily growled. "Oh please Brahms, I haven't seen him in forever, he's just a friend from my hometown. We're strictly friends." Brahms stubbornly shook his head and stomped off leaving you alone. You groaned in annoyance and continued working on cooking dinner. A friend from your old town was in the UK for some business and wanted to come visit for a few hours but Brahms was very serious about his rules and his feelings for you - especially the rules. You knew Brahms wasn't going to follow through and let this stranger into his home but at least you tried.

During dinner Brahms spoke up, "Fine. But only for an hour." You looked up at Brahms who was clearly avoiding your gaze. "Really?" He nodded and you smiled, thanking him and going back to eating "- If you give me two goodnight kisses every night this month." You laughed and agreed to it, too excited to see Y/F/N. You called him immediately after dinner while Brahms quietly listened to the conversation through the phone, still very jealous but also trying to test you to see if you really were loyal enough to not cheat on him.

The day Y/F/N was supposed to be visiting, Brahms stayed hidden in the walls and watched as you nervously paced around near the front door waiting for Y/F/N's car to pull up. When he showed up, Brahms watched as you both excitedly hugged and talked about how much you both missed each other, you looked so happy. Usually Brahms loved seeing you smile but mostly when he was the reason you were smiling, not whoever this 'Y/F/N' is. Brahms stomping around could be heard from outside the walls where you and your friend were talking who was obviously curious about it. "There's rats in the walls, I have to clean the traps out every morning."

The hour came to an end before the three of you knew it and you were getting ready to say bye to Y/F/N. "Y/N? Before I leave I wanted to ask you something." You nodded and he put down his bag. "We've been friends for like what, 3 years, has it been? I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me. I know I have a girlfriend already but things haven't been going well for us and-" Y/F/N's voice was drowned out by your thoughts, you knew Brahms was listening and you were very worried that he was going to get the wrong idea very quickly.

"Uh Y/F/N I-" He cut you off by kissing you. It all happened so quickly that you didn't have time to process it before you pushed him off you and backed away from him by a few steps. "Y/F/N, I- I can't. I have a boyfriend." he looked confused and ran a hand through his hair. "I think you should leave." You muttered just loud enough for him to hear but he didn't move. "Y/N I thought we had something. I saw the way you used to look at me and-" "Yes, USED to. Just leave." Y/F/N looked like he was about to say something but instead he grabbed his bag and pushed past you. You waited a few seconds before hearing a scream coming from the parlour and ran over to see Brahms choking Y/F/N out on the floor.

"My Y/N! They are Mine! Not yours!" You watched as Brahms choked out your friend and waited for him to see you standing there. Y/F/N fell to the floor and Brahms turned to you. "Promise me that you don't love him." Brahms began making his way towards you. "I don't love him. I love you, Brahms." You couldn't see Brahms' real expression through that porcelain mask of his. "I promise I love you, so much more than I could ever love him." Brahms craned his neck to the side and tilted his head so he was almost at your level, pressing those porcelain lips against yours, which you kissed back in an instant.

Bo Sinclair

Bo is very possessive of you and will not let anybody else touch you, not even his brothers of course. When you came in contact with an old friend they were desperate to reunite with you and begged to see you but Bo never lets you leave Ambrose. Hell, he won't even let you out of his sight most of the time, so you had two more choices - you could either reject the idea of seeing your friend, or you could bring them to Ambrose and just pray that Bo doesn't get too jealous. When you finally built up the courage to ask Bo if a friend could visit and hopefully leave the town alive he happily obliged which was a surprise but you decided not to question it too much.

While Y/F/N is around, Bo is way more touchy. Bo will grab your ass out of nowhere and stand a little too close to you, sometimes he'll even pull you away from a conversation just to kiss you before going back to doing whatever he was doing. You knew Bo was definitely jealous and as fun as it could be to mess with him it was also dangerous. After some persuading, you finally managed to get Bo to leave the two of you alone at the house - he needed to work on his truck anyways.

Bo wasn't happy with leaving you with this random guy but he trusted that you wouldn't pull anything. You and your friend spent the rest of the day just talking and catching up, you weren't sure what Bo was so worried about - you began sneaking quick glances at the window to make sure that he wasn't standing there watching the two of you. The day was coming to an end and plans changed when Y/F/N decided to leave only to realise that his car wasn't starting and Bo was nowhere to be seen.

Having no other choice, Y/F/N decided to stay the night. You set up his makeshift bed on the couch and decided to watch a movie since Bo wasn't back yet. At first you two were just sitting together but eventually you found yourself resting your head on his shoulder as you began to get more and more tired. "Hey, Y/N?" Y/F/N whispered, not sure if you were still awake or not. You looked up at him and before you could process anything his lips were on yours. You tried to pull away but he was starting to get more aggressive, tugging at your shirt in a lousy attempt to rip the fabric as you continued trying to push him off of you.

"Hey what the fuck is this?" Y/F/N jumped off the couch and Bo was standing there, he was so red you'd mistake him for the devil. It was quick but Bo managed to grab your friend and begin beating the crap out of him while you yelled and begged him to stop - which was useless. Once Bo was sure that your friend wasn't breathing he stopped and looked at you. "You're welcome." He said bluntly before giving your friend's body one last kick in the side and throwing it over his shoulder and taking it outside.

Obviously you were nervous, was Bo going to punish you? How much of that did he see? Did he see Y/F/N come onto you or did he just assume you were cheating on him? You were a little scared and tried to wait up for Bo but you were tired and thought about calling it a night but suddenly you weren't so tired. You wanted to melt into Bo's touch but you knew he was pissed at you so you decided that going to bed was a good idea, even if that meant not actually sleeping and just staring at the ceiling until the sun blinded you.

When you woke up the next morning you were expecting Bo to either start an argument or take you to one of the few buildings in town to admire Vincent's newest work, but then it came to your attention that he'd gotten his brother Lester to dump your friend's body in the pit outside of town. As inhumane as it sounded - ignoring the fact that your boyfriend is a murderer - you weren't upset, you were glad that Y/F/N got what he deserved and Bo was glad that you felt the same way. Yes, Bo was still very annoyed but he knew it wasn't your fault.

Vincent Sinclair

Vincent definitely wasn't thrilled about the idea of a friend visiting because he was scared of losing you. No matter how many times you told Vincent you'd never leave him he never fully believed you. Sure, you're a very open minded and friendly person who managed to love him for how he looks and his job but that didn't mean that you would stay with him forever - you were bound to find someone better than him.

After a lot of coaxing and promising, Vincent finally gave in and allowed you to let your friend visit as long as you told your friend that you were in a relationship and as long as Vincent didn't have to meet this friend of yours - but that didn't stop him from keeping an eye on the two of you. He watched as you both walked around town and visited the House of Wax. Vincent found himself peering at the two of you from one of the windows on the outside.

"This place is weird. Why would you want to live in an abandoned town, anyways?" Y/F/N said, obviously very creeped out as he poked at one of the wax figures. "You've always been into a lot of weird shit, I see you haven't changed since high school." He half joked causing you to playfully roll your eyes and look at him. You were very much aware that Vincent was watching. "I'm not alone. I live here with my boyfriend."

"What boyfriend? This entire time I've been here, he hasn't shown up. I'm starting to think you're just playing hard to get." You felt sick. "W-Well, he's busy, he works and stuff." Y/F/N got closer. "What does this boyfriend of yours do?" He placed his hand on yours and you swore you heard something coming from below the two of you but Y/F/N was too focused on you to even react.

"Y/F/N, I'm serious." "So am I." He tried to kiss you but you shoved him back, knocking him into one of the figures which shattered on the floor, broken wax and bone fragments dumped on the floor. Your friend saw this and widened his eyes as he looked back at you and began to crawl away from you. "What the fuck is this? Is this a joke?" By now you were crying but your breath hitched in your throat as you saw Vincent creeping up behind Y/F/N holding two knives. You didn't speak as Y/F/N continued his rant and tried to get away from you while paying no attention to your boyfriend.

Long story short, somebody had to replace that broken wax figure and Y/F/N's visit couldn't have been anymore perfect. Vincent was upset about what'd happened but he was just glad that you were still with him even after all that. He didn't fully understand how you could still love him after that but you did and that was good enough for him.

We Must Handle the Truth

There's no question that the management of Donald trump will be an issue of on-going global importance. Knocking him from his (alleged) official perch is only the first step.

The more crucial steps must follow, because trump will retain his influence and his supporters, and they will do whatever he hints that he wants, even up to treasonous attacks, assassination attempts, and mass murders.

We must be clear. There is no cozy "look to the future and heal" pretence of an option in our present situation. This is aside from the fact that taking that Pollyanna path repeatedly --from Watergate to Reagan to Bush-- helped to criminalize and radicalize the Republicon Party into the danger they are today.

Shame, honor, and true patriotism have become vestigial on the Right. Their criminal administrations and elected representatives keep getting away with what they do because we embolden them each time with a blind eye.

That is not how justice works. The blind eye of justice means that no one, no matter how powerful, is exempt. The time to work on that is January 20, 2021, and we are far overdue. Politicians, corporations, tax cheats, polluters: we still have laws, for all of trump's and his administration's destructive efforts.

We sully our government offices and endanger our nation by not requiring accountability to the office and to the people, over and above any present occupant. Where we are blocked by pardons we must still have thorough public investigation. That is not a waste of time for lack of a prosecutorial path. It is existential. It's the accountability we cannot do without. It's the foundation of the future laws we need to draft and pass to safeguard this country.

Pardons become entirely corrupt when we acquiesce to them blocking investigation. Democracies survive on information and truth, combined. We are where we are now in part because we still have corrupt actors left-over from Watergate active in our politics.

What are we to do about trump? That isn't initially, or perhaps ever, all about pardons, or state versus federal charges, or orange jumpsuits. In this instance, ironically, the potential solution is all about trump. This is where an examination of how trump interacts with the rest of the human world can guide us.

He forms specific categories of relationships which are actually invariable, because he is permanently shallow and unperceptive. Because trump the consumate narcissist is always the center of every relationship, and because he is, without introspection, forever fixed in all his defects, all of his various relationships fall into the same patterns within their categories. Here they are:

1) The Strongmen. Shades of daddy Fred trump, these are aspirational relationships teaching the type of utter control the core pathetic trump would like to wield. But because of daddy, trump is conditioned to the "love me, admire me, and be useful and loyal or I will harm or destroy you" format, but on the weaker side.

This is why we have seen trump pushing the United States of America into eagerly obsequious deference with respect to Russia, North Korea, and Turkey, and also pandering to Saudi Arabia's power which is additionally derived through vast transactional wealth.

But we cannot and do not want to transform America or Biden into this Strongman mold, because then it will have been pointless to remove trump.

2) The Assets. This category comprises trump's immediate family members and all Republicons in office, from Mitch McConnell to Kevin McCarthy, and from Michigan’s Republicon Senate members to, potentially, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett. This category also extends to trump's supporters, mostly as a collective.

These are the flipside of the Strongman category, where trump gets to play the opposite role. These people are tools, who work constantly to remain in good standing with trump, rendering obsequious deference and servitude as a matter of advantage but also, essentially, as a matter of status survival.

trump is a horrible antagonist or enemy.

This, by the way, is exactly the relationship this country cannot continue to allow with trump, as a matter of national security.

3) The Targets. We know who they are. They caught trump's wrathful attention. Some of the targets are personal to trump to varying degrees, while some are a matter of expediency, or are demonstrated examples, or are, so far, peripheral.

But everybody knows trump will never stop -- that is the personna he cultivated-- unless a Target person has something of value to make them an Asset again. (This is why trump is called purely transactional, in combination with having no beliefs, no morality, and no honesty.)

Fauci, and Birx, (who for a while pulled off a mommy-style interaction with trump as he tried to impress her with nifty genius like injecting bleach), are in a no-man's land, transitional between Asset and Target, in part because trump doesn't like attention on covid if he can help it.

We don't know exactly what trump will try to inflict on Mary trump for writing her book, but we've already seen a variety of attacks against Bolton, Kelly, and Michael Cohen, along with innumerable others. (It isn't just books. It's that these people did not keep flattering, and obey.)

He ousted from political power Jeff Sessions, Jeff Flake, Bob Corker (White House as "an adult day care center"), and Mark Sanford, of "the Appalachian Trail." He can do the same to any other individual Republicon, because as a group, they are all too backstabbing, dishonorable, greedy, and cowardly to unite against him.

Certainty we have seen trump's behavior with respect to Fox Gnus, the Clintons, and Obama.

This is the relationship this country cannot allow itself to fall into with trump. But how possibly to prevent it?

For that, we look to another category of trump's relationships.

4) The Survivors. Of those not in the Strongman category, there are few people who have survived relationships with Donald trump and who can get trump to do favors for them -- to do what they want.

It is dangerous idiocy to call them trump's "friends," by way of explaining their leverage and longevity. The key is leverage.

Rudy Giuliani :

- A "very, very good relationship" with trump.

- "I've seen things written like he's going to throw me under the bus. When they say that, I say he isn't, but I have insurance."

- "I do have very, very good insurance."

Giuliani's insurance is knowledge; some knowledge about trump gives him leverage. The leverage has to represent knowledge that trump fears exposure of or consequences for. Giuliani doesn't fear being otherwise loose-lipped, or even crazy, and his relationship with trump is currently letting him pull in $20,000 a day for "legal work."

Roger Stone :

"[trump] knows I was under enormous pressure to turn on him. It would have eased my situation considerably. But I didn't."

This leverage allowed Stone to openly demand clemency from trump regardless of any amount of political capital it could potentially cost.

The succession of wives, too, possess whatever personal knowledge, likely far more powerful than negotiated pre-nups and settlements, which ensure the notorious litigious deadbeat abides willingly by contractual terms.

As a nation, we need to survive trump. We have observed what works. But as a nation, we must address the issue of trump just a bit differently. Unlike Giuliani, Stone, or even Putin’s special holds over trump, we must:

1) Investigate trump extensively. Entirely. Turn him inside-out. And then,

2) Make the findings public. This is where a nation, a government of, by, and for the people in a country ruled by law and not kingdoms or cults, differs from defensive black-mailers or manipulative foreign spies.

This part, making public everything that doesn't actually threaten our national security to reveal, is necessary to harden both our resolve and our democracy, and to peel off whatever of trump's support that we can, and to deter the next trumpian assaults, whether by trump or the people who will try to follow the path trump has scorched into the fabric of our nation.

Public reveals are also a safety measure. There is vast potential for corruption otherwise. But then,

3) Keep every single trump-related criminal prosecution -- legitimate, of course, because we are not trump -- on the table. That is the leverage.

That's how to survive trump. There must be no more talk of how investigating a former *resident will turn us into a "banana republic." In a so-called banana republic, powerful government officials pressure others, either to carry out vendettas, or favors of protection by "looking the other way". Government is bent toward personal exploitations. Been there. Done that these past four years under trump and Republicons.

They have actually installed what can be termed "a deep state," notably for the first time, and sane Americans must know its extant. Fcuk their cries of victimization and oppression of the Right. The only difference is, when we investigate, there are actual violations, crimes, and scandals, with evidentiary proofs; when conservatives investigate, it's fundamentally bullsh*t-and-paranoia based.

A "banana republic" is exactly what we are attempting to rescue our nation from. With all the recognition that the Right has systematically unmoored from truth, and the terrible dangers that threaten as a result, from a stupid civil war born of propaganda, to climate devastation, as much truth as we can discover is what we need.

Knowledge is power. With trump out of the White House, we can get it. We must have it.
