I'm not quite sure if you're asking "what would they do if you handed them a baby" or "what would they do if you told them you're pregnant" but I'm gonna assume you meant the latter. (feel free to send another request if I got it wrong)

☆ Would play dumb when you hand him the pregnancy test.

☆ "What's this? Oh, you're pregnant? Can't be mine. My pull-out game is too strong." (literally has NO pull-out game, refuses to use condoms because he "can't feel" with them on)

☆ Basically ghosts you until the paternity test proves it's his. Then he actually ghosts you.

☆ Drops off the face of the fucking Earth for years. Doesn't pay a dime in child support.

☆ Maybe he comes back like 3 years later drunk and demanding to see "his" kid idk. Literally the worst.

Derek

☆ Honestly I headcannon he had a vasectomy at like 24-25.

☆ His mom hit him up once she heard about his prostitute scandals and chewed him out. Gave him "the talk" even though he's a grown ass man... finally got him to get snipped when she brought up the possibility of paying income-based child support for 18 years.

☆ Assuming he doesn't have one, though...

☆ He'd initially be mad and blame you. "I thought you were on the pill!!"

☆ Then he'd be like "Is it too late to... you know... get rid of it?" (and kind of dance around the subject because he's too much of a wimp to just say the word abortion)

☆ Wallace and his mom would both force him to get his shit together and apologize. Eventually he'd come to terms with the fact he's gonna be a dad.

☆ He'd be the kind of bastard to throw an over-the-top gender reveal party. The kind that burns down half of California or pollutes a major water channel.

☆ Whether we're talking pre-show or post-show, he'd freak the fuck out if you handed him a positive pregnancy test. I'm talking full-on pass out.

☆ Pre-show Josh would be like "Babe we can NOT afford a baby I literally live at home with my parents and work as a janitor."

☆ His parents would be so crazy supportive though. They've been hinting that they want grandkids for YEARS.

☆ They literally clear out a room IMMIDEATELY after hearing the news and offer it to you to use as a nursery.

☆ His mom buys you more baby clothes than you could possibly need. His dad builds a crib from scratch.

☆ Overall Josh is stressed asf but he does his best to be there for you, and his parents are OVERWHELMIGLY supportive.

☆ Post-show Josh, on the other hand, doesn't have that support. But he's survived unspeakable horrors across multiple dimensions, how hard could a baby be?

☆ Extremely hard, apparently. One day he just loses it and makes a huge decision without asking you.

☆ "Josh WTF happened to our savings??"

☆ "TRUST ME BABE we need to invest in Apple!!"

☆ You're pissed but it pays off in a few years and you're both able to live comfortably.

☆ Then in 2015-ish he did the same thing again, pouring all your savings into bitcoin. This time you SWEAR you're going to leave him, but it all pays out in the end. He gets your kid through college with that money.

☆ Overall he's a really good father, too. He had great parents, and even if he's not experienced with kids, he's naturally a very caring and attentive person.

Mike

☆ Cries when he sees the pregnancy test. He's not even sure if it's happy or sad tears.

☆ Gets sick to his stomach overthinking about how he's going to be a terrible father. His dad walked out on him, so he has literally no idea how to act.

☆ Abby, on the other hand, is absolutely delighted. She's always wanted a "little sister". Mike has to remind her that technically it's her niece. Or nephew. There's no guarantee on the gender yet.

☆ Eventually he comes to terms with it all. He's taken care of Abby for ten years, he isn't completely clueless.

☆ Takes you to all of your Dr.'s appointments, checkups, etc. Holds your hand. Makes all of your weird pregnancy cravings and doesn't judge.

☆ After the birth, he lets you rest. Nearly works himself to death trying to take care of the baby all on his own because he wants you to recover.

☆ I'm talking getting up bleary-eyed at 2am every night to microwave some formula and feed the baby. After working a 10 hour shift.

☆ Pulls the "I have a baby on the way" card at work in an attempt to get a raise. It works, thankfully. (In the novel version of the movie; it says he gets a job as a contractor at the end. So hopefully he can afford a kid...)

I'd definitely recommend reading Wayne Family Adventures on Webtoon but as for fic recs here are my top 7 batfam fics of all time, plus one wip that's less batfam, more timkon, but simply must be ranked.

Yesterday's Voices by Lemonadegarden... this was the fic that got me really into the fun but heartbreaking family dynamics. Also Tim plays a minor role, but this was the first time I was like, I need to know more about this guy. A quick summary: Batman gets amnesia and doesn't remember the last five years, or the recent death in the family, and the angst hits so hard.

exactly how this grace thing works by irnan... this is by far the best de-aged fic I've ever read. Dick, the oldest sibling, suddenly becomes the youngest and it's such a brilliant character analysis. And I'm always a fan of Dick Grayson getting the love and appreciation he deserves.

The Study of Birds by Maskoftheray… this one focuses on the sibling dynamics, mainly between Tim, Damian, and Dick. It’s hurt/comfort with birdwatching and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since I read it.

Brother Wanted by Vamillepudding... This is an au where a ten year old Tim places an ad in the newspaper for a brother and it's as cute and perfect as it sounds. The Jason and Tim bonding in this is 10/10 and makes all their canon angst that much more devastating

Send to All by Kerosceene... literally funniest fic of all time. I normally hate textfics but this whole story is told through email and it's PERFECT and HILARIOUS 10/10 required reading for batfam vibes at their best

World's Saddest Breakfast Club by motleyfam... this fic includes the whole fam and it's so sweet about it. Jason breaks into the manor and ends up cooking everyone breakfast.

scapegoat by envysparkler... the sibling blame game in this is so real. Basically the family starts blaming Jason for every little thing because Bruce would never get mad at the child he just reconciled with.

ugh, anyways, representation matters and i love him. i lost my shit when he was first announced, it made me so happy to see another type of south asian (especially one close to my family's home country) in my favorite game and he was gay so it was even more impactful as a gay person myself. and i imagine it was the same for a lot of other people.

you're kind of intimidating but then you stand next to niran and he's so much taller than you ?! you're like near his chin or lips in height, so you're still kind of tall?? but also he is a very tall man in general

some people find it hard to believe that you're the one in the frontlines in battle and he's the one supporting you but it's really cute though

he likes that you're close to his height. "just means easier access to kiss you!" in his words.

he's always the one initiating pda and you never say no to it. you always grumble abt it but he just smiles so sweetly and you end up letting him do what he wants

but in private, you're the one being attached to him

but you do like being big spoon too and he loves being cuddled when you're the one initiating it

he's always the one rambling to you about his new discoveries and his plants or just anything in general

the overwatch crew's opinions really vary

symm doesn't mind your presence when you're around, she doesn't mind when you have silent moments bc she has those moments too. you both are close friends

genji kind of relates to you, when you just feel like being away from people but you don't want to actually feel lonely. he finds solace in that. also you both probably meditate together (with zen on occasion), and he enjoys having a meditation partner

tracer is always nice around you, very cheery and always trying to get a laugh or smile out of you. you only spare a weak laugh or a huff of a laugh and niran has to explain that you probably did find her joke funny and you don't want to admit it (which is true). sometimes it's a bit awkward when he's not around to explain that, so you just come off as really really awkward or unintentionally rude (or maybe intentionally if you didn't like her jokes)

you know that baptiste flirts a lot with niran, and you dont really care bc he does that with mostly everyone. you don't blame him (some of the agents are really pretty and handsome but you love niran the most). you trust niran enough. he's a very honest person with you.

bap also tries to flirt with you too. niran joins in to double team you and get you flustered. and sometimes it works. you're unfortunately really bad at handling and accepting compliments.

bap is very flirty best friend vibes but he never pushes past the limits of course. niran's glad to have a friend who matches his energy and you're just glad he's got another place to put that energy

after missions, he's always patching you up. you're the tank after all (you can only take so many orisa spears to the head-)

during missions, he gives his 110% for you and the team. and he does it well ‼️

during those off times (which can really vary what with null sector and the invasion and etc.), you both just try to relax as much as possible. sometimes niran gets really restless bc he just wants to save the world as soon as possible :(

but you remind him about how it takes time and even heroes need rest.

you tend to take care of him more during those off times because he just gets so anxious and he overthinks a bit.

you're very realistic with your goals, niran can get too optimistic, and it can really hurt him. but you keep him grounded.

mm.. let's move to a lighter topic now,,,,

his love language is physical touch and acts of service. his in game,,, everything just screams that to me idk

when he pulls you in his life grip and saves you 😍 (lowkey, i fall in love with those players who save my ass like that as a support player/j)

nah but real talk, when you come back to him in the grip, he slips a hand around your waist, "let me hold you a bit longer, hm?" I LOVE HIM FR FR ‼️‼️

Always FaceTimes you when he’s by himself. Like pretty much no matter what he’s always trying to FaceTime. He’s walking home from school alone cause lumine is staying late? You get a text asking to FaceTime. He wants to go to the bakery in town for some breakfast? He’s gonna wake you up (depending on time zones lol) and he’s gonna ask if you wanna FaceTime.

The type to make/ buy you something and send it to you in the mail. He loves making things for people, and he especially enjoys making things for you! It’s always so exciting seeing you open your gift over FaceTime and watching your face light up at seeing a cute little knitted stuffed animal (aether knows how to knit because I said so. (And because he learned from thoma)).

He probably gets made fun of a lot by lumine. They’ll be teasing each other and aether will say something about how she’s single and she’ll just “yeah well your s/o lives in another country. Loser.”

Aether tries to visit you a lot and for long periods of time. And when he does visit… he’s so clingy. I mean either way long distance, or not, I think he’d be a very clingy partner, and very physically, and verbally affectionate. But now cause you’re long distance? Haha best of luck to ya.

Wants to do like everything that he can with you when he visits you. Like who cares if the city that has the most stuff to do is an hour a way, you’ve got a whole month! And he wants to spend that month of time very very wisely with you.

Aether is like… the most polite human being on this planet, and so your parents love him. Like actually. He’s so respectful, and sweet, and thanks your parents for everything. He’s also coincidentally allowed to move in so, uhm-

Xiao does the thing where it’s like “text me when you get home” it doesn’t matter that you literally live in another country, he will buy a plane ticket, go broke while doing so, and fly to whatever country you live in to make sure you’re okay.

Really likes talking about his day over call a lot, or hearing you do the same as you do homework, play video games, whatever. He just likes being on call/ FaceTiming when you’re doing something while you’re both taking.

Probably can only really sleep when he’s on call with you. It just helps him to be honest, especially after he just got back home from visiting you. If you two live on conflicting time zones though… :’)

First time he visits he’s so shy and anxious, doesn’t matter if you visited him first, he’s just very very nervous. Mostly because he’s in a new place that he’s not all that familiar with, but also because he’s with you in your room, in your space, and he’s nervous about like overstepping especially because if he makes you uncomfortable or upset, there’s really no where for him to go you know what I mean? Please just calm him down and tell him it’s fine :’)

Probably very nervous about talking to your parents too, so for the first couple of days he’s kinda just… awkward. Like he feels the situation is very very weird, because this stranger who claims to be dating their child just is like… here. For like a month. It’s not awkward xiao, that’s just you buddy.

If you have a pet him and your pet are like besties. Doesn’t matter what kind of pet you have, he’ll find a way to befriend it. Snake? First off, that’s super cool, secondly, your snake loves him. Cat? Your cat will regularly sleep on his lap. Bird? Bird and xiao are best friends, your bird no longer likes you, the bird loves xiao now.

I think when you visit him though it’s actually kinda funny. Zhongli will tell you all these things about xiao while he just sits there zoning the hell out.

Introduce him to your friends. Xiao isn’t much of a people person but for some reason he really wants to meet your friends. JWVSJD IMAGINE PICKING HIM UP FROM THE AIRPORT AND HES JUST LIKE “introduce me to your friends. Where are your friends. I want to meet them. Now.” He genuinely doesn’t know why he wants to meet them, he won’t talk much to them anyway, but like… it’s the thought of it you know you know.

When he goes back he is legit like clinging onto you. The three days before he has to go back home he’s just stuck to you. And then when he is back home he tries to like get things that remind him of you. Like a stuffed animal, keychain, or poster, something that he can bring with him a lot, or look at a fair amount and just think of you.

— Heizou —

So being in a long distance relationship with him is the funniest thing to ever exist. Because throughout the day like while he’s in class (bro you should be paying attention!!) he’ll send you the dumbest things. Doesn’t matter what, it could be a picture of himself from a unflattering angle, or some stupid joke the thought of, but it’s so amusing to read your responses.

Realllly likes reading books with you. Kinda like… a mini book club. Like you both read a book, and every week try to get to a specific chapter, and then talk about it every Sunday. It’s so stupid, because you alternate who gets to choose the books, and he chooses the worst ones!! Image the dumbest book with a weird philosophical undertone to it that you don’t understand, and that is 90% of the books Heizou chooses. He’s the worst.

Wait- but the video games you play together????? You have your own stardew world that you play a lot, and he gets so mad if you marry someone, that he’ll actively give them their least favorite gift as much as he can. Any game you play together is bound to be hilarious, stardew was just one example out of many.

DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED WHEN YOU PICK HIM UP FROM THE AIRPORT. If you’ve watched stranger things, remember when in season 4, they picked mike up from the airport and he looked like a whole circus with what he was wearing. Yeah that’s Heizou. You tell him he has to walk to your house, totally for other reasons though.

I think over call, or text, he’s very very flirty and confident but in person he’s very very clingy. Like he has to be holding onto you in some kind of way or this visit was horrible.

Like xiao he also wants to meet your friends but for different reasons. He wants to just clown on all of them (respectfully of course). Your friends also love him.

Instead of you dragging him places, he did his research ahead of time to prepare and know what he wants to do. He will make you take him to all the cool places he’s interested in! It potentially is a new experience for you too depending on where he takes you, but you know it’s fun either way!

Goes back home and is already planning for the next visit. Yeah he’s sad that he’s leaving, but he’s looking forward to the next visit already! (He also isn’t that sad cause he may have stolen one of your stuffed animals cause he knew he was gonna miss you <3)

— Albedo —

A lot of the time over face time he’ll paint you/ draw you. He uses so many different mediums too! Watercolors, charcoal, pastel, acrylic paint, ink, gouache, somehow even made a collage??? The list goes on! He just makes little ones, and they’re with all the other drawings/ paintings that he’s made of things that he finds beautiful <3

I think one of his favorite things is when you FaceTime him, and have him help you pick out your outfit for the day. It’s fun seeing you pose, and seeing all the mixing and matching of clothes. Also he’s the worst person to help you pick your outfit for the day, because he thinks you look stunning in everything.

Loves sending you pictures of things in his hometown, and I think wherever he lives it’s actually a beautiful place, so it’s always fun seeing to pictures he sent you. Plus he’s a phenomenal photographer so like… even better!

Once while you were FaceTiming he introduced you to klee and Alice and they were both just the sweetest and cutest people you’ve ever met! Alice was so so sweet, and klee was so excited to meet you, and told you all about dodoco.

Visiting you was so fun for him, obviously because he got to see you! But also because of the new environment. Albedo does very well in new places, and he’s curious about everything. Bring him to a museum, and he’ll literally ask you to marry him.

One of the things albedo was probably most excited about for his visit, was painting, and baking with you. He loves those domestic kinda activities that you can do together.

Literally if you live in a big city, do not leave him alone. Ever. He will find a hole in the wall store that he will spend hours in. Do not. Leave. Him alone. He will spend all his money at this one store, and he will not regret it BUT YOU WILL BECAUSE HE WOULD HAVE SPENT ALL HIS MONEY

the character everyone gets wrong

Annabeth, Annabeth, Annabeth. In SO MANY ways. Right down to her name, where people decide randomly that Annabeth is a nickname for Anna Elizabeth.

But mostly it's the school thing. Annabeth is always going to be the smartest person in the room, but she would (literally) rather die then demean herself to prove it. She also has ADHD, Dyslexia, and missed grades 2-6. I don't know how you can read about her being unwilling to play the Sphinxes game and then think that she'd be a good sport about school? I don't necessarily think she'd do badly. She is 100% in the "smart enough to coast" category. But she's not going to study, she's not going to apply herself. And I suspect when she finds herself disagreeing, she's not going to be open to listening to most teachers. She'll talk back, she'll argue, she'll get detention. She reads books in greek, she probably doesn't have special affection for her school libraries full of books she can't read. Free yourself from the Hermione Industrial Complex and embrace smart girl characters who's only life goal isn't getting As on tests.

Other things, Annabeth did live in Virginia some as a child. But given that it was in Richmond, her father is from Boston, and they moved at least a little (in TLT her family lives in New York State), the idea that her upbringing would be particularly southern, or that she'd have a southern accent is silly.

Also, she thinks Percy is funny. She enjoys his company. They have a lot of similarities. And she knows he's not as smart at she is (no one is) but she doesn't think he's the dumbest person alive. She doesn't hate him. About 80% of all PJO Incorrect quotes can be summed up as Percy: says something dumb, Annabeth: You're an idiot, and I hate you. And that's just...not what's going on with them.

Dude is a Norse Legacy who fell in love with a Hellenic Goddess. He went out of town and his wife ran off his daughter while he was gone. He can see through the mist. He dive bombed a Titan to save said daughter. He's a Red Sox fan and has a daughter who's a Yankees fan. He managed to enchant Athena. Favorite minor character.

Also, everyone is wrong about Poseidon. He's an ass, he's a bad dad (Hades is the best big three dad. And possibly the best godly parents. And that's being graded on the scale that calculates that time he told Nico he wished he'd died and bianca hadn't. That's how bad everyone else is.) And Sally has moved on to bigger and better things.

Combining those two things: Fredthena > PoSally. Fredthena is more interesting, and during the canon of the stories, it's actually still interesting instead of Poseidon just being Sally's loser ex.

Other things: in fic, Luke is Annabeth's looser older brother, not abusive ex. Annabeth is the punk and Percy is the good boy, Jercy wants what Frankercy has.

Nico. I love Nico, I think he's an awesome character and have written multiple fics about him. But people are so weird about him. And there is an extent to which I get it. He's one of the first incidentally queer characters in middle grade literature (as opposed to a character who is gay in a book all about being gay). He's got the emo vibes we love. And he definitely went through it.

But everyone is kind of going through it. And yet, people will unironically make posts about how Percy promised to protect Bianca and then let her die when...When Bianca set off a monster and Percy literally was like "I have a plan to get rid of it" and then Bianca said "I'll do it" and Percy was like "No, I will" and then Bianca just did it anyway. That isn't on Percy. Similarly "Percy choked Nico, its inexcusable." You know, that time that Nico helped his father trap Percy in a room in the underworld with no ways out or windows or anything. Nico didn't know, and he felt bad and tried to make it right, but it wasn't unreasonable for Percy to be pissed and attack the dude who behaved like an enemy.

4. I wonder why unbred is such an attractive trait to many dragon owners to the point where they won't pay even fodder price for a bred dragon? Me included, to an extent. G1 or not. It's a mindset so ingrained within the community, but no one can really truly explain why a dragon's value hinges on it so deeply, it just... does. Best people can say is "it's aesthetic" or "it's an irreversible change" but the way a bred dragon is practically unsellable outside of the fodder market unless it has extremely desirable traits is so baffling (and even then you're expected to slash the price for its bred status). People act like breeding a dragon is ruining it even though this is a game about breeding dragons. I've witnessed first hand people trying to sell really good-looking g1 doubles, pricing them dirt cheap for what they were, and getting no bites for months because they'd been bred...

So annoying when your project needs a very specific combo with very little wiggle room and you keep checking the AH for it, only to find dragons that WOULD have been perfect had they not been the wrong gender, wrong flight, bred, one single color off, etc etc... but those dragons are usually so cheap I end up buying them anyway for breeding, problem solved right? Except I can't be bothered to do even that because I'd need to rent nests and that's a whole another risky hassle, plus the dragons are all different ancients and would require breed changes to be compatible. Thus they end up just sitting there in my lair in slowly increasing numbers. Why can't the perfect dragon just magically pop up on the AH please god

Hello there! This isn't offensive at all and I'm glad you asked.

To be completely honest, yes it felt a little strange at first to pick the characters that were not my agab. I played as male characters long after I knew I was a woman. Eventually I said "fuck it I'll try it" and started using characters that align with my gender now. After a little while, it started to feel much more natural and I even found myself replacing old male characters with new female ones.

— first of all can i say your pet names are incredible (bartolomeu the cannible >>). we’ve all seen the videos of lando getting (mildly) abused by animals, and your pets are no exception !! 😃 he’d (unwittingly) instigate it by running away from them so they think it’s a game and then end up chasing him around the house 😭 but he loves them really <3

— i feel like with lando there’s two ways he can go with a relationship: either he’ll go for someone who’s calm and a bit more stoic to level him out, or someone who is just pure chaos like him. this is definitely a case of the latter 😅 you two are literally the ultimate chaotic duo, you wreck havoc around the paddock. like the kind of chaos where you share a braincell and do the dumbest shit ever but it’s so iconic 😭 that’s very much the vibe with lando

— i’ll make this a bit shorter because i’m getting carried away 🥴 but with music, lando definitely asks for your opinion on what to include in his setlist when he dj’s. he values your input above all else. also, i think he’d be a good influence on you in terms of helping you feel calmer when you meet new people. in the same way that he helps you with your perfectionism, i can picture him being very grounding reminding you that you don’t have to be nervous, or that he’s sure whoever it is you’re meeting will love you just as much as he does 🥹 he always wants you to feel as good about yourself as possible

— AND FINALLY he definitely becomes besties with your brother. i’ll be taking no criticism for this, lando is the type of guy to be best friends with his s/o’s brother. like at first i think your brother might be a bit wary, but lando eventually breaks down all those barriers and they become inseparable (to the point that you sometimes feel like the third wheel 😭) also !! we know lando’s not very adventurous with his food, but i think he’ll always try something if you say you like it (like spicy food): however, neither of you can cook, so the kitchen when you try to cook together is absolute chaos (kind of like you guys in general 😭)

He would also be the type of player to only attack the teams that are weaker then him in the arena.

Once he reaches gold rank he would be too nervous to continue playing the arena.

Might have a mental breakdown while playing the guild battle, but you're there to calm him down If he does.

Would probably have a lot of resources because he's been saving up so much.

He would probably also look over your shoulder to see what toppings you used for your cookies because his cookies are a bit weak and he wants to know what toppings to use 💀

Somehow when he's pulling for new cookies he always gets good luck whenever you are beside him while watching him pull for the cookie <3

He would definitely try to attack your team If he sees in while in arena.

If he successfully defeated your team, he would probably send a photo of him beating your team in the arena.

So if he sees your team while using the refresh button, he's gonna attack it-

D&D!!! This game is my special interest, so it's no surprise that it's my favorite part of my week. We had really long roleplay sessions for my Friday campaign last night, and the party finally got to learn a few things about Cyra, plus she got some... interesting news about her old gang... And tomorrow for my (usually) Saturday campaign I get to traumatize my poor boy Rook some more! (Poor man really is my punching bag... he's already been through so much...)

Playing video games! I bought Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous on January 1st, and I've played 98.3 hours since then, and am enjoying it immensely. I just hit level 20 yesterday! Cannot recommend this game enough, especially to people who liked BG3.

Seeing pictures of my parents' cats! My mom just got a new kitten a little over a week ago, and I'm so obsessed with her, I can't wait to meet her! And my dad's cats are still being their adorable, weird selves, and I want to see them again soon.

Watching Critical Role! I'm inching ever closer to the end of Campaign 1, and I'm not ready for it to be over. I can't decide if this ending will devastate me more than the ending of Campaign 2. On one hand, I preferred C2 overall, but on the the other, my favorite character dies at the end of C1. But either way, I love this silly little show, and it brings me so much joy. Watching Campaign 2 was literally a life-changing experience for me.

Daydreaming about my OCs! Even if I haven't been able to write lately, at least playing around with scenarios for them in my head at night while I'm trying to sleep brings me joy. These silly little guys (gender neutral) are truly the lights of my life. (This does include my D&D characters, btw.)

Buying books! While I was home over winter break I bought 7 books, and just yesterday I ordered 9 more, including a few from some writeblr people! I'm excited to read them whenever I get the chance.

Finding new music! In the past week I got really obsessed with Arrows In Action's latest album (Built To Last), and then WE MADE PLANS AND GOD LAUGHED by Beauty School Dropout came around and put me in a chokehold. It's fun finding new music that I like, and I'm excited to share it with my mom when I get a chance.
