how are you doing today, everything is good?

Heck yeah, everything is doing great!

Me and my girlfriend did a walk through a giant Aspen grove nearby to watch the fall leaves yesterday, and I'm lucky enough to live in an area that'll see the eclipse tomorrow. Me and my whole family have the glasses, so we're gonna get together for a little viewing party.

I've been super duper busy, but I'm considering taking off my one November convention so I can sit and focus for the month on the video game. I haven't been able to work on it for MONTHS and I so badly want to continue to.

But mentally, I've been really fantastic. I'm back into reading books and I'm trying to get through my gf's favorite book series right now, or go back and reread some classics. To Kill A Mockingbird might just be my favorite book ever written.

Enough rambling, but yes! I'm doing super well right now! The only thing I want more of is rest, lol

Day six of the @klaineccfanficlibrary event ❤️

This sixth poem is called Since that day in November, but it doesn't fit into the show.

This is what Kurt would have written if he had been given a real marriage, time to think, time to grow and learn.

This (and I could have written a thousand more words) is what Kurt carries in his pocket on his wedding day to Blaine. The paper is folded, it's a page he tore directly from his bullet journal; there are no pressed flowers or colored ribbons, tape or other unnecessary things.

Just his vows to the man and love of his life.

Since that day in November

it seems a lifetime ago.

And it's curious how for you

it was love at second sight,

while I already imagined us

like this.

You see

the smile that's on my mouth

it's hiding the words that don't come out.

The words I've never been able to express

to you; yet

you have always understood me and my mess.

You have welcomed me and

listened and

mended my wounds and

watered my dry branches.

You are a resource,

my heaven.

The best part of a dream;

November fluff prompt 18: hand holding

Una ran her thumb over her ring for the tenth time in the last hour. It was a peculiar weight on her hand, something that should have been imperceptible but drew her attention over and over. She spun it on her finger.

On the tiny dance floor, Bob and Sarah swayed to the music. Sarah laughed at swatted Bob on the chest, and some of the nervous fluttering in Una's chest eased.

"Hey." The fluttering kicked up again, but it wasn't nervous this time. Chris slid back into the chair next to hers and set two drinks on the table. He took her hand, and warmth and happiness and excitement squeezed in her chest so she almost couldn't bear it. "You okay?"

Una nodded and laid her free hand over his. His ring was hard and smooth under her hand, and warm enough that she knew he had been fiddling with it, too. He searched her face for a moment, and his eyes softened. He lifted their joined hands to his lips and pressed a kiss to the inside of her wrist.

A table away, Neera let out a bored sound of disgust. Una ignored her and kissed Chris on the cheek. He squeezed her hand, and her heart swelled.
