• At first, Octane found Crypto to be terribly boring, and would constantly nag him to just do something fun for once in his life

• Crypto thought Octane was annoying obviously, and a few times even purposefully sought him out in the games just to get the satisfaction of killing the lil' shit

• This goes on for a while, until one day Octane wasn't there to annoy Crytpo. He was probably off drinking at Mirage's bar or doing god knows what and Crypto just feels like something is missing

• He obviously can't be missing the annoying fucker right? All he's done is piss him off, yet when he finally has his own room to himself and he can just sit at his desk in silence, Crypto feels lost

• He would never admit it, but he realized that day that he actually enjoys the others company. It gives him the social interaction that he's been missing, and even though it pisses him off it's worse without it

• Crypto starts to agree to some of Octanes crazy shenanigans, being his lookout if he's pranking other legends and stuff like that

• Octane is over the moon, hanging out with the other pretty much 24/7

• After their first time hooking up (which I'll write in the nsfw stuff), things were a little different, but still moving slowly

• Octane nags Crypto less, but obviously still does

• Crypto starts to realize that he actually cares for Octane

• It takes a long time but eventually they start dating

• Octane probably asks Crypto out first, and it probably takes a while for him to convince the other than he actually will take it slow and not rush things

• They're not very affectionate in public, knowing glances and soft touches but nothing more

• In private they're practically attached to each other, Octane sits in Cryptos lap while he codes at his desk and hugs him from behind while he's cooking

• They move slowly, but they work. Probably the only time that Octane is slow pffff

• The first time they get together was probably due to Crypto being angry at Octane, hate sex mmmmm

• Octane does something reckless that goes too far and Crypto confronts him about how dumb he is sometimes

• "Sometimes I want to just pin you down so you can't piss me off, teach you a lesson."

• And that he does, Octane still won't admit he was wrong and Crypto probably drags him into his room and pins him to the wall, taking him right then and there

• It's consensual don't worry, but Crypto probably prefers to read the others body language and expression other than bluntly asking

• All the frustration turns into need the second that Octane whines at his aggressiveness

• It's not soft or affectionate, just all the built up emotion coming out in the form of rough sex against the door

• Crypto is surprised at Octane being trans, but doesn't do anything about it other than raise his eyebrows is shock and then move on

• He holds Octanes thighs against the door to keep him up and eats him out, Octane is desperately grasping at the others hair with one hand and covering his mouth with the other to keep quiet

• Probably makes him cum a couple times before even moving to the bed

• Tells Octane that he won't fuck him until he apologizes and begs for forgiveness

• When Crypto finally let's up, he carries Octane to the bedroom and manipulates him into doggy, pushing his face into the pillows while he pushes inside, making Octane groan

• The heat and feel of Octane around him seems to relieve all of Cryptos stress

• It's messy and rough, but it's all running off of adrenaline and the heat of the moment

• Crypto cums all over Octanes lower back and then he finally let's go, silently getting up to get a towel and wipe the other off

• They don't talk about it for a while, both still shocked at what happened

• After that they fuck casually every once in a while, but still deny their feelings for each other for a long time before they start dating

• Crypto is softer after the first time, but hate sex is something that still happens often, even when dating

• Octane is an annoying little shit alright, sometimes you gotta out him in his place

How I think each Legend would react to you asking them out Pt. 2...

Bangalore-

Depending on who you are, she either reeled at the words or was silent. Either way, she had never expected it out of you. Of course, she would most likely decline, whether she liked you back or not. But only because she didn’t want anyone to see that, deep down, she has a soft side.

Caustic-

He would be confused, but at the same time start examining his current relationship status with you. He would definitely wonder whether or not he was the one that made you ask him out, to which he would blank. He is unpredictable, so who knows? He might accept, but it isn’t a certain.

 Mirage-

He would immediately be flustered, probably blushing or running his hand through his hair. It would take him by surprise, since most of the time he was the one doing the asking out, not the other way around. But either way, he would be thrilled and most likely say yes to the invitation.

Octane-

If he was currently sitting in a chair or leaning on something when you asked him, he would no doubt fall. He would be so confused and excited, yet curious by your request that he also may or may not switch between English and Spanish while ranting about it. Like Mirage, he usually would be the one to flirt and such, but you caught him off guard, so you may find yourself going out with him sooner than you expected because of it.

Wattson-

She would be silent for a few, and depending on whether or not she has mutual feelings, she may just walk off. But in another circumstance, she may reply to you before walking off, and in that case, it would most likely be in your favor. Of course, she tends to have crushes, and you may have been one of them.

im gonna be honest, we dont have many bobby hcs (i really wanna change that, i fucking ADORE bobby - and, if its any help, i actually have a fic up ((dont look back in anger)) where he’s a main character!! although its an au, i hope it’ll suffice for now :3)

- bobby is definitely a prankster, but like, hes NOTORIOUS for it. and not in the bad way. he has silly pranks that only mildly inconvenience the person on the receiving end (like the dumping water on lmq and cals heads after races) and he’s Always at the scene of the crime when something silly happens. he just Is the embodiment of silly. and yes i know this is canon for the most part but hes literally just so silly i cant not include it

- hes the youngest of the trio, the baby, even, he’s a december baby, born in 1988 (same year as lightning - cal is an ‘87 baby i believe - so when bobby started racing in 2007 he was still 18) but just at the End, whereas lightning was born in may . despite this he’s still the tallest, and probably the most well built of the three . aka lightning is scrawny and cal is just Average. and when lightning makes fun of him for being a Baby hes like ok well ure literally short as hell. what about that. huh? what can you do about your height? i’ll have a birthday but you dont have a get taller day? huh? and lightnings like. well. okay.

- i feel like he befriended cal first, like, he and lightning “hated” each other but it was less hate and more lightning being incapable of making friends (lmq and cal met at the infield care center after strips crash, so they were friends ever since then) and so cal was just in the middle of this “rivalry” that was in reality like. hey. cal. i think that bobby guy is really cool do u think he’d wanna be my friend. and cals like I DONT KNOW TALK TO HIM? and they talk and theyre like wow i actually thought u hated me (theyre best friends now)

- bobby both has an iconic autograph, but hes also so good with his fans its impossible for anyone to hate him. he has so many iconic pictures and literally everyone he meets praises him for his kindness and blatant silliness . hes just super easy going and generally amazing to be around

- out of all the racers hes probably got the most amusing advertisements as well, he will go ALL IN for whatever octane gain (or his smaller/secondary sponsors) want from him, and its so Genuine it just feels like he LOVES to be there

- he loves taylor swift. AND I KNOW WHAT YOURE GONNA SAY. “ITS STEREOTYPICAL” BUT NO U DONT GET IT.. SHE DOESNT MATCH THE REST OF HIS MUSIC TASTE AT ALL. hes the last person you’d ever expect to listen to her. he says its because they have the same last name so hes obligated to be a fan, but also the day Taylor Swift (album) debuted he bought the dvd and forced the other two to listen to the entire thing multiple times on a road trip and its safe to say that since the day taylor swift has existed, lightning and cal have feared her album release dates.

- hes the burnout king. every race he wins he will do a burnout down the frontstretch in front of the grandstands that will take his tires down to the RIMS. the tire marbles are INSANE

SCREAMING AND CRYING OMG i saw the funeral and absolutely got JUMPED SCARED by my mans bestie cuz why he randomly appeared there— Guys I’m alive 50/50 and right now I’m an octane fan but like FAN so I’m def doing anything octane (prob bc of the recent events but still) this took SO LONG just because I couldn’t decide between soft expert octane or confused soft octane 😭

He lives fast so having a relationship is something that he wasn’t going to get used to so “fast”

From the outside, octane didn’t need comfort, if something bad happened it flew by him or he thought about it for a few seconds before doing something else and forgetting about the situation.

But in the inside, Octavio Silva needed that comfort he always avoided

In private, he would definitely ask for you attention and just your presence, he wants you near because he doesn’t know how to go with this kind of things, if he’s mad instead of upset he definitely needs a time alone.

In public, he quite literally doesn’t care what people think so if he wants a hug or a kiss for comfort he will have that, unless you don’t want to ofc.

Like I said before he doesn’t know how to deal with comfort because how much he avoided it, so comforting people was even worse, at least his partner… with friends and strangers he would obviously joke and try to make them laugh to take them out of those emotions but with you? His PARTNER?!? He couldn’t joke unless he wanted you to feel more emotional, trust me, it has happened (unless you actually like to hear jokes while feeling such emotions like that, then he will tell you some different stories about how he did some dangerous stunt and failed)

Octane need some time to learn but he is so damn fast at learning your favorite thing, so comforting you would get better every time

you were training one day, something you all did regularly to stay on top of your game

and it can get pretty intense sometimes. but you all know your limits, thats why you called it quits with a bloody nose and a sore back after sparring with kairi.

she was spewing apologizes left and right, and you reassured her it was all in good fun, and that you were okay.

just as she holds out her hand to help you up, the door to the training room opens, and in comes elliot, ajay and octane not far behind him, in their own conversation.

to say elliot reacted immediately would be an understatement, by his reaction you would think you were sitting here being held at knife point.

"what the hell happened in here! we heard yelling... y/n?! youre bleeding?" he rambled on, not really giving either of you a chance to explain yourselves.

kairi steps aside for a moment only to come back with a small white box in her hand. a first aid kit. god knows how long thats been in here.

she passes the kit to elliot, giving a small grin and says "their all yours." with a pat on the back, before following the other two out the door, she turns back to you to mouth "sorry" with a wink. surely she hadnt...planned that.

it was painfully quiet in the room after that. elliot sits on the floor in front of you, opening up the small box to retrieve some gauze.

he hands it to you to place under your nose, and you take it quickly, not wanting to ruin the gym floor or your clothing any further.

hes quiet again, and you look past your hand to see him staring at you.

"she got you good, huh?" he said, with what could only be described as a pout.

"its just a bloody nose elliot...im gonna be okay." you said lightly, trying to ease the tension. he grins and shakes his head

"i know that. it...it just freaks me out to see people i care about get hurt, yknow." he said looking away

you let out a small laugh at his statement. "aw..you care about me? what happened to "dont get close to anyone"? you reminded him of what he said to you when you first came to the base.

while his advice rang true in a place like this, you couldnt help but share his feelings.

"you have...no idea" he said softly, looking at you again. you are only now realizing how close you two are, his face mere inches away from your own.

a few more moments go by, and he finally breaks the silence again.

"can i say something?" he askes, sounding nervous.

"of course" you respond curiously.

"i really want to um...i really want to kiss you right now..." he said, cheeks flushed. "i mean only if you want to i dont want to ma-"

you cut him off with a laugh. he looks horrified honestly and it only makes you giggle even more.

"normally, id say go for it. but im kinda bleeding from my nose right now" you giggled as you watched his face turn even redder.

"yeah! yeah right...i knew that....obviously....whatever, lets go get that cleaned up yeah?" he said, obviously trying to change the subject. you giggled again and got up to follow him out of the gym.

"hey elliot?"

"..yeah?" he turned to you

you stood up a little bit taller to place a kiss on his cheek. stepping back you take in the shocked look on his face

"thats for helping me, and if you really wanna kiss me, wait till im not a bloody mess, yeah?" you grinned at him.

he groaned, turning around to walk out, but you knew he wanted you to follow him.

"i hope you realize what you do to me." he says to you with a grin. "but i will take you up on that...if its okay" hes still unsure. you take that as a sign to slip your hand into his.

"if it wasnt okay, i wouldnt be letting you waste your time on something like a bloody nose yknow" you laughed lightly, hoping to ease both yours and his nerves.

"cant have you like, bleeding out to death." he remarks, keeping his hand in yours. you laugh at his comment.

"wouldnt wanna let me die without that kiss huh?"

he groans again, but you dont miss the shy smile on his face.

Anyways here’s some head cannons that I’ve thought abt in the last bit:

• caustic and lifeline are A THING if not they are very close ugh I love their relationship I’m my Brain i don’t mind elaborating

• after wattsons and caustics fallout she went to hug Newcastle because he was willing to and he has a similar build to Alexander

• since we know that rev lives under that part of kings canyon he invites ash over at times since he feels like she’s one of the only one who could even come close to understanding

• Fuxking comunal garden in the warmer seasons made by caustic, wattson, bloodhound, fuse (being w bloodhound) and horizon

• ALWAYS having debates abt whether energy drinks are okay to drink, octane, wraith, crypto, mirage and conduit being talked out of all chipping in for a red bull fridge by horizon, lifeline, caustic and Bangalore

• the second day that wraith and rampart get to know each other was when wraith came out of ramparts room after well over six hours of her being in there. After mirage pestered her enough she showed him a photo of her back tattoo of a willow trees. The next day somehow octane got wind of it and payed her a rather large amount of cash to be in charge of the tattoo gun so he could have permanent doodles. Lifeline was not happy.

• caustic can kinda get along with Maggie when they smoke and the topic of music comes up. She really likes 80s rock which is quite similar to his personal taste. Without them being high she is just too much for him

•he’s also autistic and has issues with loud noises

Hello! Just here to say that I love all of yours and anon's DID Blitzwing related thoughts!! I adore Blitzwing and they're (he?) what got me researching DID again after so long (my little autistic brain loves them <33). I'm not a system (or if I am, everyone else is really well hidden!!), but I love learning about all the things minds are capable of doing to protect themselves and I think it's fascinating - though I know that obviously I'll have some misconceptions so I'm always very happy to learn more :)

Do you have any other ideas/ headcannons about them? I would love to hear them /gen

Oh I'm not infallible either, not a system myself but I am fascinated with psychology (looks at my therapist Ben 10 character). Besides Blitzwing is an interesting character to have DID because they're not human and so with our human (and audience) perception, it can be easy to connect Blitz to DID even if that's not what the TFA writers intended- the added bonus is my intrigue in xenobiology/psychology so... Blitz's the perfect sample for that asjdhgblsjfkl-!

As for headcanons, those may need to be under the cut they got a bit much haha-!

You can take some of these headcanons as little hints towards a canon!Blitzwing, but because I've been rambling with the anons about Bot Experiment Triple-Changers these are kinda more focused on that little au rather than the original-

I like to imagine Random would totally eat organic (non-metal) food if given the chance/no one else fronts to stop him. With the power of fire and ice, he at least has assurances for the others that Random can and will ingest flaming fuel and liquid nitrogen just to get rid of any residue of authentic Italian cuisine. It seems to really be his thing idk- Probably doesn't help that Octane would totally be on his side if she ever fronted (certainly eggs him on when they're both in the headspace).

There's a pretty common headcanon that Blitzwing sculpts, but I like to pin the sculpting hobby onto Hothead because metal sculpting would work far easier with a little heat. As a bonus BETC!Blitz exclusive I like to say that Private actually had a passion for carving, his little area of the headspace decorated with what he remembers making, so Hothead took a little bit of a peak at that and got interested in it's complement; building something from nothing as opposed from revealing something from another something.

And Icy I feel is just really intrigued by alien cultures (that little commentary on how fascinating human cities are like nano-bots WILL NOT ESCAPE ME), perhaps a little more so than being interesting in Cybertron itself. I mean he's not gonna say that OUT LOUD with Decepticons around, but he finds the different ways different planets and different countries ON those planets create homes and lifestyles unique to their own individual circumstance. Astrotrain would feel a kinship to that, considering the bot had previously worked in cargo transport across Cybertron and getting to experience the different cultures of it's citystates, but Astrotrain also understands VERY WELL why Icy might not have the best connection to 'home'.

I also think that, out of the hosts, Hothead is the most affectionate towards Private and despite not having any wings in their headspace, Hothead speaks to Private like an older warframe does to a young(er) war bot. Random when not fronting fucks around with Octane if Astrotrain's covering Private's six, the two of them being chaotic little gremlins that spells disaster for any bot unlucky enough to be around the next time Random fronts with a prank idea. And to round this off if Octane is being the wine aunt to Private (or about as responsibly irresponsible like one), Astrotrain and Icy take a moment to sit and breathe, talking about traveling and other more silent contemplations.

And I think that might be all from the top of my head? Only saw this ask about nearly 12 hours after the timestamp says I got it so hopefully you weren't waiting to long asjdhfgaslkfkl-! But nah, I love Blitzwing, just needed to sit on my thoughts haha-

-There is usually only two things on Revenant’s mind: murder and revenge.

-He only thinks, craves, and fights for blood.

-He is out for Hammond Robotics; it is his mission to corrupt their whole system and seek the revenge he rightfully deserves.

-But lately, other things have been distracting him from his plans.

-And by ‘other things’, he means you.

-Ever since you joined the games, there had been something about you that had caught his eye.

-Whether it was your small, defenseless form or the way you pridefully carried yourself, having all the confidence in the world despite your size, there was something that drew him to you.

-Of course, at first he had kept to himself, and you hadn’t approached him in any way, instead sticking to that birdie Valkyrie.

-But you had caught him staring once or twice, to which he responded by clearing his throat or casually looking the other way to not draw suspicion. 

-As the time went on, you had ended up on his team multiple times, to which he would treat you outwardly about the same as he would anyone else.

-But you did notice over time how he tended to drop good loot and ammo that you needed in your path.

-This was, of course, intentional, but you didn’t know that.

-It confused you that the murder bot himself was being nice to you in his own way, but you truly didn’t think much of it.

-Well, not until the one night at the bar that changed everything.

-It had been any regular Friday, you chilling at the bar after a game, grabbing a drink with your fellow Legends. 

-The group started slow, but after a few rounds had been passed around, people began to disperse.

-Fuse and Bloodhound were the first to sneak off somewhere, and then Mirage disappeared after the clones that he had set to attend the bar began to act up.

-Octane had ran off to a bathroom to hurl up his 17 shots, leaving you and the couple making out beside you, consisting of Loba and Valkyrie.

-You rolled your eyes at this, walking over to the bar and taking a seat on a barstool.

-Your vision was wobbly and your senses were all mixed up, so you hadn’t realized that you had sat next to someone.

-Revenant watched as you plopped down, tipsy and obviously slightly out of it.

-He had watched you get drunk; in fact, he had watched your group tucked into the corner of the bar all night getting drunk.

-As much as he ached to get closer to you, to at least try to get to know more about you, there was absolutely no way he was going to even go as far as to approach the other Legends.

-It was just in his stubborn nature.

-Looking down at you, he finished off his beer before slamming the glass down onto the counter.

-You looked up, jostled by the loud noise, and towering over you was none other than Revenant himself.

-At first, his eyes scared you; the two beady yellow LEDs burned into you.

-But after a moment, you felt yourself warm to them.

-Your intoxicated brain knew you were at least in his favor, as he dropped little hints sometimes within the games to lead to such a conclusion.

-Without thinking, you leaned into him, wrapping his torso in a bear hug.

-Revenant’s eyes widened in shock, what were you doing?

-He knew you were drunk, but drunk enough to hug a blood-thirsty assassin robot?

-Despite his mechanics speeding up at the sudden arousal within him, he didn’t dare move, too afraid of injuring your fragile form.

-You mumbled incomprehensive words into his middle-section before reaching up and groping for his large claw.

-Upon finding it, you tugged at it until he let you take it and place it on your back.

-You then did the same with the other, making him hug you back.

-He still didn’t move, slightly awed by how cute you were being, whether you realized it or not.

-He did look around, however, and after realizing the bar was pretty much empty, he let himself relax a little into your touch.

-The two of you sat there for what seemed like hours, your thoughts blank, his running faster than Octane on stim could accomplish.

-This was soft for him, but he also secretly liked the attention.

-And it wasn’t the same attention he got when he was killeader in the games or won as the Champion squad.

-This attention was a loving one, one that he hadn’t experienced in centuries.

-You had always seemed to catch his attention, so he wanted this...right?

-Yes, he did.

-Coming to his decision, he quickly withdrew himself from you, careful not to nick you with any part of his arms or hands.

-You let out a whine, obviously upset by this, but squeaked as he picked you up bridal style.

-You would be coming home with him, but not for sex or anything of that sort, just to cuddle and be with him.

-You had tempted him, and he had taken the bait.

-You grasped around his neck, clinging to him for dear life as he turned and began walking towards the exit of the bar.

-You looked into his face, confused and tired from your drunken state.

-He looked back down at you, reading your overall puzzled expression.

-Although he couldn’t reach up to comfort you, he stretched his head down to nuzzle you in the side of the neck.

-Heat rose into your cheek as he did this, and you returned it by smooshing your face into his; it wasn’t the same, but he appreciated the effort you put to replicate comfort for him.

-He pushed out the swinging doors of the bar, taking in your scent, comforting you, and feeling like the luckiest simulacrum alive.

A Dozen Mistakes Leads To An Odd Friendship ||ABOUT APEX VERSE||

Now, Octavio thought he had seen it all. He worked with a wonder like Wraith afterall.

But when, one day, a rift threw him through a loop and right into a ball of limbs, he came out the other side feeling more than a little tangled up. He hit the ground with the weight of two much taller people on him, which tore a whine from his throat.

“Well that’s a fine howdy do.” the thick Australian accent had the Speedster looking up to see the figure that bounded off them standing.

“Woah, amigo, what kinda style you going for there?” he pulled himself out from under the other male, the mask covering his face nothing new in the games, but his punk style clothes and lack of weapons was a bit of a shocker.

“What are you talkin’ about, mate?” the voice had Octane’s head turn and he cocked out a hip, crossing his arms and tapping a foot. “Woah! Look at those legs!” the conversation snapped below the waist and Octane finally noticed the other’s hobble was due to a crude sort of peg leg that made his face scrunch up under the mask.

“Amigo, whoever made you that leg needs to get into this century.” he said and the man jerked up, snapping to squint at Octane.

The two heard noise and they looked over to see the punk guy slowly push himself up, falling on his ass and rubbing his head. The mask lit up with little ‘@’ symbols where eyes would be.

“Ohh... My head... Where the hell am I?” then it seemed he focused as the symbols changed to little ‘!’ and he was on his feet, taking a wary step back. “Now I know I didn’t take anything.... Who the hell are you?” the words were met with a scoff from the two before him.

“Me? Who the hell are you?” the two spoke as if one and looked to each other, clearly stunned.

When a bullet zipped by Octane’s shoulder he cursed, jolting forward to grab the punk’s hand.

“Meidra, questions later compadre! We gotta go!” he shouted as the Australian whipped out what looked to be a grenade launcher, ready to fight, only to be yanked back by the Speedster.

Once in cover, they laid their stories out in short form;

“Name’s Wrench. That’s all you need to know. I was in front of some prototype tech from Haum when there was a flare of blue light and I ended up on the dirt.”

“Well I had just been flung through one of Sombra’s tech by a stray bomb and ended up here! Name’s Junkrat.”

“..... Riiiiight. I’m Octane, and you two have wandered into the Apex Games through one of Wraith’s portals.”

“Apex games?” the two voices had Octane whine.

“Duh. Only the biggest bloodsport in all of the Galaxy.”

“Wait wait wait, Galaxy?” the words came from Wrench and Junkrat nodded furiously.

“Yeah, amigos. This isn’t Earth. It’s a planet called Leviathan.... Did Wraith’s portal merge with the tears your accidents made or something?” no one could every say Octane wasn’t smart.

Turns out, Octane - Who was going solo after his two Greenhorns died quickly - got a new team in one Explosives Expert who likes his bombs just a little too much, and a tech whizz with one hell of a skill with a bat and a computer in his hands - even if at first he looked ready to cream himself at the holo screen and fumbling with it.

Now the three stand as one hell of a show in the games, after a fair helping from Octane to the runners of the show.

Octavio and Kids

Octavio is just amazing with kids, most look at his wild stunts and think he's a danger and would be a terrible dad/older brother, but in reality, he lifts the kids up, brings their souls up from the pit of despair and encourage them to do better.

He met a writer once, they had a learning issue, couldn't write properly, and they had asked him to beta read for them. Now, their book was in English, and Octavio spent a whole week pouring over the book, and then sat down with the kid for a whole month every day, cooking for them so they had real meals each day.

He paid the parents to have the child basically use his house as a boarding school.

After the month, he sat the kid down and told them that he knew a school and a publisher that wanted them in, because the kid had a mind, and it was perfect, they could say their ideas without trouble, and now the kid is a young published author. Unbeknownst to Octavio, the kid changed the name of the unwitting hero of the story right before publishing.

And when it came out, the first to get a copy was Octavio. And instead of the cover art he had been shown, it was his own face.

The kid wrote a book about a kid who suffered loneliness, wrote of how it was hard, and that their hero had jumped into their life, pushed them past their limit and was there. Every meet and greet he was there, had come to know them by name and held them above the turmoil of their depression, and unknowingly, saved their life. Before, the name was Oliver, but when Octavio had finished beta reading, they changed it all to Octavio.

Octane cried that day, and held a huge party for the young author, saw them off to their new uni and work, and still drops by often to check up on them.
