SCP-173
Tumblr media
Because the peanut design isn’t canon anymore I went with the SCP Unity design because it’s like 10x better than the containment breach design and that box guy design

HAZARDQUEER / DANGERQUEER
hazardqueer is an identity/movement that i thought of last night and i really liked the concept so i thought about it some more and made some flags. i made it partially in response to an exclusionist term called "safequeer" which excludes some marginalized identities like mspec gays (not very safe huh)
its about being your unapologetic and queerest self, supporting and uplifting disabled people, POC, ND people, and queer people, and solidarity and unity amongst each other!!
its also acknowledging that we shouldn't have to pander to non-queer people by having to have "safe" and "palatable" identities and that we should strive to be happy and authentic with ourselves rather than trying to put each other into boxes non-queers have tried to put us in for so long
this is an inclusionist term/movement, so no meanies!! >:(
this is also pro mspec gays, pro lesboys/veldigirls, pro chronosians, and pro systems of all origins, so if you don't like that, then don't use hazardqueer!! simple as that
this is however against: pro-contact/anti-recovery of harmful paras, "consang", and bad faith/harmful trans-x identities
Tumblr media
the empty yellow triangle in the middle is its symbol bc it can be replaced with any of these and more if you want!!! (personally im an explosion risk queer idk about you)
(symbolless flags below the cut)

if yall are intereseted :)
p.s. i have scp queer terms planned

The White Lord: Wearer of the Diligent Mask
"Albedo : wash aroint the impurities - rain cleanses all sin and prepares the soul f'r Elysium. divide, not as dictat'd by the rigors of harmony, but rather into two opposing principles to be later coagulat'd to form a unity of opposites." (SCP article)

I made the poem about the GOC's confession of love to the SCP Foundation
In the halls of containment, where anomalies reside,
The Global Occult Coalition, with duty as their guide,
Stands firm and vigilant, against the anomalous tide,
But in the depths of their heart, a different truth they hide.
For in the silence of their chambers, away from prying eyes,
The GOC whispers secrets, beneath starlit skies.
Confessing love to the Foundation, in hushed and quiet sighs,
A bond beyond the battlefield, where love's ember lies.
They admire the Foundation's strength, its unwavering might,
In awe of its resolve, in the face of darkest night.
For though they may clash, in the pursuit of what's right,
The GOC's heart beats softly, in love's gentle light.
They dream of collaboration, of unity's embrace,
Setting aside differences, to find a common place.
Where containment meets compassion, in a tender embrace,
And love blooms amidst anomalies, in a sacred space.
So here's a whispered confession, from the GOC's heart so true,
To the SCP Foundation, in shadows and in view:
In the dance of light and darkness, in all that they pursue,
The GOC confesses love, forever and anew.
Here's a breakdown of the meaning behind the lines of the poem:
1. "In the halls of containment, where anomalies reside": This sets the scene within the world of the SCP Foundation, where anomalous objects are contained and studied.
2. "The Global Occult Coalition, with duty as their guide": Introduces the GOC, an organization within the SCP universe that deals with anomalies, often in a more aggressive manner than the SCP Foundation.
3. "Stands firm and vigilant, against the anomalous tide": Describes the GOC's dedication to combating anomalies and maintaining order.
4. "But in the depths of their heart, a different truth they hide": Suggests that beneath their outward facade of duty, the GOC harbors deeper feelings, including love for the SCP Foundation.
5. "For in the silence of their chambers, away from prying eyes": Indicates that the GOC's true feelings are expressed in private, away from public scrutiny.
6. "The GOC whispers secrets, beneath starlit skies": Symbolizes the intimate and secretive nature of their confession, likening it to a whispered conversation under the stars.
7. "Confessing love to the Foundation, in hushed and quiet sighs": Explicitly states the GOC's declaration of love for the SCP Foundation, conveyed quietly and earnestly.
8. "A bond beyond the battlefield, where love's ember lies": Implies that their love transcends their conflicts and differences, existing on a deeper, more personal level.
9. "They admire the Foundation's strength, its unwavering might": Acknowledges the GOC's respect and admiration for the SCP Foundation's capabilities and resilience.
10. "In awe of its resolve, in the face of darkest night": Highlights the Foundation's steadfastness and determination, even in the most challenging situations.
11. "For though they may clash, in the pursuit of what's right": Recognizes that the GOC and SCP Foundation often find themselves at odds, despite both striving for similar goals.
12. "The GOC's heart beats softly, in love's gentle light": Portrays the GOC's affection as tender and sincere, even amidst their professional duties.
13. "They dream of collaboration, of unity's embrace": Expresses the GOC's hope for cooperation and mutual understanding between them.
14. "Setting aside differences, to find a common place": Indicates a desire to reconcile differences and work together towards shared objectives.
15. "Where containment meets compassion, in a tender embrace": Envisions a harmonious relationship characterized by empathy and understanding.
16. "And love blooms amidst anomalies, in a sacred space": Symbolizes the potential for love and understanding to flourish even in the midst of the anomalous and unpredictable.
17. "So here's a whispered confession, from the GOC's heart so true": Concludes the poem with a reaffirmation of the GOC's sincere feelings and desire for connection.
18. "To the SCP Foundation, in shadows and in view": Addresses the SCP Foundation directly, acknowledging their presence both in the shadows and in the public eye.
19. "In the dance of light and darkness, in all that they pursue": Reflects the ongoing struggle between order and chaos, light and darkness, within the SCP universe.
20. "The GOC confesses love, forever and anew": Ends with a declaration of love that is eternal and continuously renewed, despite the challenges they face.

EMPLOYEE ID 8200-1875-2; 𝑀𝑋. 𝐶𝑂𝑁𝐺𝐸𝑁𝐼𝐴𝐿𝐼𝑇𝑌.

PROFILE.
The altruistic and convivial, [𝑀𝑋. 𝐶𝑂𝑁𝐺𝐸𝑁𝐼𝐴𝐿𝐼𝑇𝑌] has a connection with the minds of humans — and non-humans — that is found once in a few lifetimes. We discovered their talent when several humanoid SCPs in surveillance came in contact with her and lost their anomalous nature. The Foundation would suffer a loss to let this unique ability go. Equipped with a high sense of empathy without any mind-altering substances or cognito-interference from SCP phenomena, [𝑀𝑋. 𝐶𝑂𝑁𝐺𝐸𝑁𝐼𝐴𝐿𝐼𝑇𝑌] was first appointed to Humanoid Containment Site-06-03 to gauge her potential. After their trial experiments into SCP psychotherapy lead to successful and humane containment protocols, they were transferred to Site-17 to further her psychotherapy work... but her expertise caught the eyes of Research and Development Director H. ███████ , who surprisingly placed her as a supervising medic for SCP-███ at Storage Site-23 within a year. Though those case files are locked and declassification is impossible for anyone under Level 5 SCiPNet Clearance, there have been rumblings that almost everyone involved in the SCP-███ experiments end up medically discharged from the Foundation, and a recent internal audit by the Ethics Committee exposed a termination order for [𝑀𝑋. 𝐶𝑂𝑁𝐺𝐸𝑁𝐼𝐴𝐿𝐼𝑇𝑌]'s research partner, Dr. P. ████, which had been overturned at the last second. The reasonings for that are, at this point in time, undetermined and unclear. Therefore, the Committee believes [𝑀𝑋. 𝐶𝑂𝑁𝐺𝐸𝑁𝐼𝐴𝐿𝐼𝑇𝑌] would benefit from a new workplace environment, far from the dramatic exploits of the SCP-███ experiments. Though more demure in personality than many of the more independently-inclined operatives found at Site-φ, [𝑀𝑋. 𝐶𝑂𝑁𝐺𝐸𝑁𝐼𝐴𝐿𝐼𝑇𝑌]’s innate talent of understanding the psyche will be an essential asset for maintaining a copacetic, functional social structure within MTF Chi-00. Even if some of their colleagues insist on going against the grain, the Committee expects that [𝑀𝑋. 𝐶𝑂𝑁𝐺𝐸𝑁𝐼𝐴𝐿𝐼𝑇𝑌] will find a way to level the field and promote unity. — Internal Memo from the Ethics Committee.
LAST ASSIGNMENT.
PSYCHIATRIST;  STORAGE SITE 23, supervising medical officer for the SCP-███ trial experiments. Overlooked and examined the physical and mental health of patients administered SCP-███, as well as researchers working in close proximity with SCP-███. As of this note, all recent work crew have either been medically discharged, MIA, or terminated by order of the Foundation.

INTERRELATIONS OF NOTE.
𝐷𝑌𝐼𝑁𝐺 𝐵𝑅𝐸𝐸𝐷. You can just tell this one’s going to be a headache and a half. They don’t seem to be too interested in being anyone’s friend, never mind yours. You usually prefer to take a slow and subtle approach in these sorts of cases, but given the especially sensitive nature of this new assignment, leaving a wildcard like them unchecked for too long seems bound to create problems.
𝑃𝐸𝑅𝐹𝐸𝐶𝑇 𝑆𝑇𝑅𝐴𝑁𝐺𝐸𝑅. It’s obvious that they’re in way over their head, so what else where you supposed to do other than throw them a life preserver? You’ve never been the type to stand by as someone else struggles and they’ll definitely need all the help they can get settling in and navigating the team’s… pricklier personalities.
52 𝑃𝐼𝐶𝐾𝑈𝑃. They quickly caught your eye and bent your ear after you were reassigned. The two of you are fast becoming thick as thieves, swapping stories and so on as you size up your new coworkers. It’s nice to find someone else who reads people as you do, though their outlook on the human condition seems to run diametrically opposed to yours.
𝐺𝐴𝑅𝐷𝐸𝑁 𝑉𝐴𝑅𝐼𝐸𝑇𝑌. — You remember this patient. Though you'd like to call them a friend, you abide by your professional boundaries. They were one of your first patients, and you could easily read their mind, understand where they were coming from, and feel what they felt. Now, it's different. You've always been good at reading people, but this person has become a completely different book. What happened when you two were apart?

The First Murderer
Cain walked the halls of Chaldea, observing the various Servants. It was quite a fascinating spectacle. He had met many historical figures and heard many tales of heroes in his own universe, it was interesting to see how wildly or closely they resembled those. Some you could barely recognize, others tied to fictional retellings of events (at least in his universe). Artoria had been a surprise, Cain having met King Arthur in his own world.
The various gods wondering the halls also stroked a sense of nostalgia. It reminded him of the earlier years of Audapaupadopolis, when gods and men would walk the same roads in unity under his father's rule. It could remember it perfectly, even after countless centuries. An effortless task in reality for him. He remembered everything. One might call it a photographic memory, but it went well beyond that. He could count up every single breath he'd taken in his life, from birth to now. Every breath he'd seen other people take. Every detail could be recalled without error. A memory that would never forget what he had done.
And it was due to this memory he noticed he was being followed. The individual was an expert, and clearly knew who Cain was. Or thought they did. They had managed to stay out of sight, but had failed to account for the other servants. He had thousands of remembered crowds to compare these to. He could spot how those at the back picked up their pace. The nervous whispers and slight quieting of the crowd. Clearly someone ominous waited just out of view behind him.
Cain turned down a less crowded hall, and then another. Moving away from the high traffic areas of Chaldea, hopefully with fewer people around his follower would reveal themselves. Cain had very little concern about them intending ill will upon him. He'd been most cooperative with Chaldea, the Fae of this universe shouldn't be at war with his family, and there was his curse.
He finally reached a hallway that appeared quite empty. From the signs, this was where parts were stored to repair the Chaldea facility. There should be no one here to bother them. Cain would stop and look behind himself fully, waiting for his follower to step into view. A full minute passed and Cain sighed loudly. His follower was either committed or had lost him. Cain turned back to continue his walk.
"Why are you here?"
Cain was suddenly face to chest to a towering armoured and cloaked figure. A horned skull helmet glared down at him with glowing blue eyes. He'd take a couple of steps back in surprise. He was left speechless for a few moments as he tried to process how this giant had snuck up quietly behind him. Before the man had to repeat his question, Cain responded. "Well I'm here to hep out with this. . ." Cain would pause to think, Da Vinci and him had yet to identify the exact issue they were dealing with, "cross dimensional issue." While there seemed to be a temporal aspect, Da Vinci was quite certain nothing lined up properly with the Lost Belts. But there were aspects that lined up with the SCP Foundation's research into alternate dimensions.
"And why aren't you doing that now?"
Cain glanced down at the large blade held in both hands of the figure, currently held so it pointed at the ground. He'd then glance back up at the figure before him.
"It isn't exactly polite to be threatening a guest" "Why should we welcome a murderer as a guest?"
Cain sighed and roll his head. This was an unexpected situation. "Really?" He'd retort before focusing back on the First Hassan. Cain already knew who he was, he'd been allowed to skim through the personal records to see which servants were here. He had been curious to meet some. And some he wanted to avoid. The Hassan was on neither list.
"Okay. I am not your Cain. I am Cain El Asem. Son of Lilith El Asem. Dream of Lilith. Star of the Evening. My name is forged in iron."
Cain stated his full name and saw the First Hassan shift minutely. Cain couldn't be certain if it was him reacting to the power his name held or the fact his mother wasn't Eve, but he was sure he had gotten across he wasn't this universe's Cain.
"You can even call me 073 if that helps separate me from him." Cain would add, he had gotten used to the title while at the Foundation.
"How does that change your crime?" The First Hassan asked in a cold emotional voice. Cain facepalmed. "You do realize I was punished like your Cain was, right?" Cain would slide his hand off of his face. "And I've tried my best to harm no one else since."
"You've stayed your hand of murder ever since?" Cain couldn't miss the tone of curiosity in the First Hassan's voice. "Yes," Cain replied. However, he had been responsible for deaths. Not everyone was willing to be talked down, some wanted blood. But his curse ensured only their blood would spill, his punishment would not be ended early. And his curse of memory made sure he'd never forget their corpses.
The Hassan stepped closer to Cain. "How can you deny what defined you?"
Cain would stare up at the towering man. "Your Cain was a farmer, and I was the Gardener of Eden. I am heir to Adam El Asem, First King of Men, Maker of the First City. King of all That Is. We were both more than just murders" "Dead dreams and empty titles," The First Hassan replied. "Why do you care?" Cain would ask annoyed. "There are plenty of murderers and villains in this place. Or have you done this with all of them?"
The First Hassan stepped closer, mere inches between them. Cain didn't back away, but had to stretch his neck to keep his eyes locked on the Hassan's. "Your crime is all you have left. You are no longer a gardener or farmer. No throne awaits you. Only our sins remain." The Hassan bent forward to look fully down on Cain, "and I know our worlds are different. Different Cains, different sins."
Cain was quiet for a moment, then spoke. "What exactly do you want?" Cain couldn't figure out what was this man's problem. There was a stretch of silence between them, then the First Hassan spoke.
"How did you kill him?"
Cain frowned. He'd turn away, planning to walk in the opposite direction of the conversation. He'd find himself blocked by the Hassan once more, somehow moving to the other side of Cain. He tried again and was once more blocked. "I stabbed him!" Cain would exclaim in frustration, and try to walk away again. The assassin once more blocked the way, though he was a few steps away now. "With what?"
"A sword."
Cain didn't bother trying to walk away this time. "You already had implements of murder already?" The First Hassan asked.
"Yes, we had weapons. Not all the creatures back then were friendly." "So murder already existed" "Yes, but I still get called the first murderer." "But you are the first betrayer."
Cain paused at this. That was an odd accusation. "And?" The First Hassan stepped closer, adjusting his grip on his sword as he did. "You cannot be trusted." He'd state plainly.
"Because I killed my brother?" "Because you betrayed your brother." "What's the difference?"
"The sin that defines you." Cain was getting angry now. "Why? How?" "Cause it is all you have left," the Hassan would repeat. "Why do you think that?" Cain would ask.
"Because it defines me." Cain would look puzzled at The First Hassan. Then he remember what he had said earlier. 'our sins.' "You're me." Cain would state before rolling his eyes and head. "And that somehow makes you an expect on me, despite our histories being different."
"Yes."
Cain would shake his head, not even bothering to look at the assassin. "I swore off violence, but you decided more violence was the right lesson to take away from bashing your brother's head in. Can you not see the difference there."
"Our differences are our sins. I murder, you betray." "You lured your brother into a field to kill him, sounds like a betrayal of trust." "Betrayal already existed in the world." "And how do you know it wasn't already in mine?" "I don't, but there were only two sins to take away from our crime. If you did not take murder, then it was betrayal."
"Why? Why would I take anything like that? I was given perfect memory to never forget what I did, unlike you who thinks it is blessing to murder his brother." The First Hassan tightened the grip on his sword. "I recall all the love and respect I had for him. Which has clearly dimmed for you into nothing. I can perfectly recall the look of betrayal on his face, I doubt you can recall the mangled mess of his face."
"Then shouldn't you remember perfectly why it was worth betraying him?" the assassin would say, his voice dripping with venom.
The First Hassan stepped closer. Cain stared him down. "We don't even have the same mother. Mine was Lilith, yours was just a sex toy made out of a rib-" Cain was interrupted as the assassin's sword clattered against the wall, the First Hassan's arms going limp. Cain could hear the assassin cough up blood in his helmet, and see it begin to leak out of his chest plate. His arms and chest had been cut clean through, his body held together by his armour now. "Huh, guess we are somewhat alike. Mother is a sore subject for me too. Helps I've had centuries of people bad mouthing her to control my temper." The Hassan fell to his knees. "It was a fine cut, I didn't see or feel it. Very impressive." The assassin final fell at Cain's feet. His body beginning to dissipate into ethereal energy. Cain looked around to check for cameras, he couldn't see any but he figured he should check the security room anyways and scrub this incident. He had planned to stop there later to get a better mental layout of the facility. Chaldea should really upgrade to handprint scanners, he thought. It was far too simple for him to mentally replay everyone's hand movements whenever they punched in a code.

Author Ask Tag
Once more I get to talk about my work due to fellow Scribe @covenscribe (Scribe unity). Read their post here. I'll be answering these questions focusing on my WIP Fleshtown.
what is the main Lesson of your story? And why did you choose it?
Fleshtown has several: cities can turn into abusive hellscape where an individual human doesn't matter, just their flesh and the work one can squeeze out of it. Those that sit at the top of societies like this are parasites (very literally in this story). Kindness is a powerful thing against those affected by it, but eventually violence becomes the only song society can hear.
What did you use as inspiration for your worldbuilding?
General lexical inspirations that affect nearly everything I write in it are: KSBD, SCP, Worm/Otherverse, and inescapably Homestuck.
Though for Fleshtown itself I think I was exposed to a game called Fear and Hunger (very heavy content warning) and the aesthetic of it stuck with me for a while. Then eventually a thought spawned in my head “I haven't written a romance story yet. I should try that in the flesh walls of this awful city I've imagined”.
What is your MC trying to achieve, and what are you, the writer, trying to achieve with them? Do you want to inspire others, teach forgiveness, help readers grow as a person?
Poet arrived at The City on accident and is really just trying to get out. Virus/Prince is trying to get back to the Court of Parasites so to behead the stagnant king. I, meanwhile, am trying to get them to realize that they don't have a home to go to if they did escape; and the eternal torment of this city can only be stopped by those living in it.
As for a lesson taught: violence is the only tool we have to fight tyranny, but by that very same tool we forge the shackles of the next generation uhhh? Healing a community is a worthy and fulfilling thing? idk Fleshtown has a lot of scattered ideas right now.
How many chapters is your story going to have?
Don't know, hopefully more than 1 and less then 100 but we'll see. It's planned to be a Novella right now, but its rough draft isn't done.
Is it fanfiction or original content? Where do you plan to post it?
Original content, and not sure. I imagine I'll post a non-insignificant amount of it on Tumblr/send it to whatever mutual wants to read it. Maybe classicaly publish it, maybe do web serial stuff with it. Really I haven't had any major thoughts/decisions about that nor intend to till it's more finished.
When and why did you start writing?
Way back in intermediate/middle school me and my friends were nerds playing games like runescape. One of my friend made the mistake of showing me the RS roleplaying forum. From there I went on to roleplay from site to site for a while. I only started “writing” in a conventional sense recently. As for why? Because it's fun and I find fullfillment in it.
Do you have any words of engagement for fellow writers of writeblr? What other writers of tumblr do you follow?
Hey! You, yes you. Write whatever you want. Forget that things like rules exist, forget that stories need a flow or need to follow some set chart. Make something without the limits of what is conventionally “good”.
Have to shout out the first Writeblrs that I really interacted with on here @sunset-a-story and @vicstmichael, who's attention and encouragement kept me working on this platform. Also to @squarebracket-trick @iced-ginger-tea for sending me so many asks over the last while. Y'alls small acts really do mean something to me, and always make my days better.
As for tags: Whoever is reading this. Open tag, you're all getting hit with the talking stick.

what are your scp recs? =o i've read some but not all that many overall
SORRY LATE REPLY COZ i had 2 get 2my pc HELP BUT !! Youhave unlocked the floodgates.
087 - the stairwell
an oldie but a goodie! absolute fucking classic, as evidenced by the whopping 3000 updoots. its really like. one of the Hallmarks of the strengths of early scp, aka a simple concept executed VERY EFFECTIVELY. its a staircase! its infinite! you can hear the sound of a crying child in it that always seems to be out of reach! its dark as shit! there is a disembodied floating humanoid face in it. the fourth expedition is fucking Gone despite being the one that ceased all entrance to the stairwell! i love the shit out of this stupid fucking staircase theres a reason it spawned so many games in Ye Olden Babys First Unity Project Days
3333 - tower
*thafnine voice* were time skipping now oh my! i feel this is like, an Inverse 087. instead of going down an infinite staircase u go up an infinite tower! fun! and remember that redacted expedition IV from 087? its not redacted here :) warning for body horror for this one
4975 - times up
despite being from series V this one has a very very old school vibe to it. simple concept executed effectively as opposed to the fucking novel length skips that litter the later series. fair warning for this one if u have issues with unreality MUTE THE TAB. TURN DOWN YOUR VOLUME. no jumpscares but its still a pretty mean trick 😭
lilys 001 proposal - the worlds gone beautiful
short, poignant, beautiful. ykno all those tumblr poetry posts talking abt how no matter how temporary our time is on this earth its still special? it means something? Yea . reading this as a 15 yr old made me understand that somehow
4182 - there is no site 5
whew. unlike a lot of earlier scps the blacked out data in this one Isnt overused in an annoying way. its a Puzzle. what happened to site 5? why are there so many revisions to the article? what is the foundation hiding under all those redactions? hehe.
5140 - EVEREST
another short n effective one ! im not phased by much unless it literally triggers my menthol ewwness but this ones . super fucking creepy to me honestly idk why LOL. hinges on making U ! da reader. quetion whether whats happening in those logs is real or if the explorers are just Losing Their Fucking Minds from oxygen deprivation. i do wonder !
2718 - what happens after
I. HATE. THIS . SCP. that means i love it LOL. i rank horror Goodness by how badly it makes me want to crawl out of my skin like a molting insect! forreal do not read this if u have unreality issues its so bad 😭😭😭😭😭 but i love it! its such a good concept. i hate it. its awful. its stuck in my mind forever. its so effective. If i liked this scp i dont because i did. No i didnt
5999 - this is where i died
YAAAY THIS ONES THE URL OF MY SCP SIDEBLOG!! i like it less now than i did when it first dropped (i was so up to date on this shit LOL i was there when nobody knew what it was abt and the forums was people trying to decode it) and the ending. is fuckin doodoo caca bullshit LOL its such a copout. dont even bother with the last chapter its literally nothing and it only serves to connect it to another scp when the preceeding stuff was already flavorful n interesting on its own 😭😭 warning for gore and body horror
4400 - this is not a place of honor
better enjoyed with the context of longterm nuclear waste warning messages! i actually have a unique experience with this post detailed Here due to my Shitfuck No Good Eyesight where i misread the title as "this is not a place of horror” which fundamentally changed my mindset going into it! i dont wanna spoil much but the last line of the last addendum is so fucking metal it rules LOL
