Ninjago Fic Rec Week: Day 2

Prompts: AU+Movieverse/Jay Recs! *vibrates at the thought of Jay content*

AU/Movieverse Recs:

if you could date any of the ninja, which one would you date?: Lloyd experiences the world's worst second-hand embarrassment and the rest of the ninja absolutely are not helping. Not actually shippy, just really funny and Lloyd has a (mostly) light-hearted hard time.

Reference Letters: Kai is tasked with recruiting some fresh talent to the Secret Ninja Force, and what starts as a joke to welcome Lloyd Garmadon into the squad turns into a genuine crusade for his friendship. The Green Ninja, however, is having none of that. (It goes exactly how you expect it to and gah it's beautiful. Kai and Lloyd duo forever!)

Who's the New Guy? He Looks Awfully Green: Movieverse fic in which Lloyd is the last to become a ninja, and the last to learn everyone else's identities. It's full of team-bonding (collectively and one-on-one!), hilarious Wu moments, and Movie!Lloyd being Movie!Lloyd ;w;)/

Jay Recs:

Unfortunately, You're Amazing: Jay faces the dilemma of *maybe* possibly kinda sorta having a small little totally non-consequential thing for Samurai X. But beyond that Jay just gets to be his dorky, smart, snarky, easily impressed self and it's so fun and delightful to read, I go back to it all the time!

Play to Win: An au/ canon divergent whump fic where Jay and Cole are roped into a round of Scrap-N-Tap...and that description does NOT do it justice, but if you like emotional tension, a heaping of personal distress, and a Jay who is unfortunately one step ahead of everyone else, you'll love this. Probably not for the faint of heart, definitely for the angsty daredevils (such as myself)

Jay and the Important Differences Between Spider Pokemon: Pokemon AU that explores Jay's "perplexing" fear of spiders post S6. A fascinating and fun idea for a plot, plus, there's Pokemon. it's all good stuff!

And She Wore Blue, Right?: Jay starts suddenly having reason to look into who his birth mother is...was. Hits just right for people who've always wondered how the show might have tackles this little interesting conundrum.

turtle or the hare: WOW I forgot I read this one aaaaaaaa BUT Jay inadvertently meets his bio mom in a rather...expected place. God their personalities are so similar yet mesh so well hnnnnnnnng (we could have had it aaaaaaall)

Jay and the Deafening Sound: ...this one's mine BUT I've got all three categories covered—extremely about Jay, takes place in the movieverse, and has shades of my legacyverse au to boot <3 Not-so long story short, Jay finds himself up against the main faction of the Shark Army all on his own and finally has a good excuse to pop off with his powers <3

this doesn't really have a title but it IS really very good: A scene or so where Jay and Kai spat over caring for each other too much and it's just such a beautiful depiction of their relationship, rocky tho it may seem ;w;)/

The Fantastic Mr. Walker: All these years later and it's still my favorite Jay-related thing to exist. Really gotta re-read it again so I can be delightedly distressed all over again <3

Extra: The Last Spark, an au, will be used for this prompt

Kai woke up with a stretch. It was a beautiful sunny day in Ninjago. The sun was shining, the grass was healthy and green, the ocean sparkled beautifully, and there wasn’t a single cloud in the sky. That was good because today was a special day. He got up and got dressed. He entered the kitchen and saw Zane.

“Hello, Zane,” Kai said, “Cooking breakfast before anyone got up?”

“Well, I was trying to,” Zane smirked. “But a certain ice cream ninja keeps waking up early.”

“Oh ho ho, ice cream? If I remember correctly, I’m the master of fire, Snowdrop.”

“With your hair, I think you could be the master of ice too.”

Kai gasped, “How dare you.”

Zane laughed and gave Kai a small kiss on the forehead.

“Well, since you are up, maybe you can help me pack for our picnic later.” Zane said.

“I would rather wake everyone else up,” Kai said.

“You can do that after packing.”

After hearing that, Kai immediately started to get the picnic basket ready. He grabbed the food, the snacks, the sodas and juices, the blanket, and the board games. After that, he immediately went to wake the others up. He found them all asleep in the game room. He immediately jumped on Cole and Jay and shouted:

“WAKE UP!”

“Ow!” Jay exclaimed. “You know, an alarm clock or a blow horn would have been better than jumping on me!”

“Hey it wasn’t just you,” Kai grinned. “I also jumped on Cole.”

“I think you should have just jumped on me.” Cole said.

“Well, I know Nya would be mad and Lloyd’s leg is still recovering. And I had to jump on two people.”

“Butthead,” Jay grumbled.

“Kai, don’t jump on my boyfriend,” Nya said as she threw a pillow at her brother. “Anyways, why the wake up call?”

“Zane is making breakfast and we’re going on a picnic today.”

Lloyd immediately got up and ran out of the room.

“Careful with your leg!” Kai called out.

Everyone else got up while Kai stayed behind. He looked around the game room and sighed. He never really understood the technology. Nya is better at this than him, and he doesn’t know if he ever will. It’s confusing how things could happen in a box with a window.

But he was getting ahead of himself with those negative thoughts. He left the game room and went outside. He was now at Ninjago’s park with his friends and family. Lloyd, Garmadon and Misako were talking and eating candy. Ed and Edna were being their lovable self while Jay looked embarrassed but happy. Cole was playing a guitar while Lou listened. Nya, Mom, Dad, and Zane were on the picnic blanket talking.

Zane noticed Kai and signaled him to come over. He did and joined his family and boyfriend at the blanket.

“So, I heard that you tricked people about your eyebrows,” Dad said. “How did you do that again?”

“Daaad,” Kai groaned.

“What? I wanna know your secret!”

“Look, all I did was use a sharpie until they grew back.”

“And no one noticed,” Nya said. “That is the one thing I’m upset about. You have trouble keeping my samurai x secret yet you can hide your eyebrows?”

“Gasp. I have been hit by my own sister. Oh, what a world!”

Mom and Dad laughed.

“It’s alright, Kai,” Mom smiled. “Some secrets are harder to cover. Now, I think I wanna hear about this surprise you have.”

“Hey, you all have to wait until nighttime,” Kai said. “Otherwise the surprise will be ruined.”

“Good thing the sun is almost setting then,” Zane said, pointing at the setting sun.

Everyone started to gather around the blanket. They were waiting for Kai. He sighed and shook his head with a smile.

“Alright, first off let me say a few things,” Kai said. “I want to give a toast to our team.”

“Cheesy man!” Someone shouted.

Everyone started to laugh, even Kai.

“Alright, sue me for being cheesy. But anyways, I would like to give a toast to Cole. Our strong leader who has gotten us all through thick and thin. He is just like his element. Strong, courageous, and extremely stubborn.”

Cole laughed.

“Another toast to Jay. The mechanic and swift one of our group. As much as he talks without losing his voice, he brings joy, laughter, and positivity to this team. He keeps our spirits up.”

Jay smirked.

“A third toast to Zane. The calm and collective one who also keeps everyone safe. Along with caring for us and giving us the most amazing food. He’s also a great friend who comforts everyone and helps who he can.”

Zane smiled.

“And a final toast to my two little siblings, Lloyd and Nya. Who both grew strong, smart, and amazing. Despite everything that happened, you both stepped up and saved us. Nya, with you being Samurai X, you helped us fight our biggest enemies. Lloyd, with you being the green ninja, you saved everyone from the Overlord, including your dad.”

Nya rubbed Lloyd’s head as they both smiled and chuckled.

“And now, for my surprise!”

Kai threw a fireball into the sky. The fireball turned into fireworks. Everyone was amazed as they watched the fireworks. Lloyd got up and went to Kai. The green ninja smiled.

“It’s just like the good days, isn’t it?” Lloyd said.

Kai saw that Lloyd’s face turned into the Overlord’s face.

“Too bad this isn’t real, Red Ninja.”

The world started to turn black and purple. Everyone was gone. It was just Kai and the Overlord now.

“And those good days will never come back.”

Kai woke up. He didn’t sit up or gasp. He stayed in his bed. After a few minutes, he finally got out. He looked outside his window. There were still dark clouds outside, but the lighter tone meant the sun was rising.

He went to the kitchen to prepare meals for the animals and his parents. When he was done, he left the animals’ meals in the farm room and his parents' meals in their room.

His parents were still asleep. That was good. Kai has seen the change dark matter takes on a person too many times. And his parents are no exception. He wishes it wasn’t like this, but he didn’t know what to do. When this was over, he wanted them close so they, him, and Nya could reunite.

Kai went to the main room and looked at the calendar. It was an inside day. So no going out for supplies or food. He wasn’t worried anyways, he had plenty of both for the next few days.

So he looks out the window in the main room. Nothing has changed since the Overlord took over. Everyone was affected by the dark matter.

Everyone except Kai.

He didn’t know why, but he was. And he is going to fix this. He was gonna bring those days back.

Kai started to cry.

Aye aye, captain!

So i have. Many. Many many blorbitos from my brain. Ignoring all the ocs that come from various unused fics, here are my two main brain blorbos:

418 -- Red Visor oc

418 is a Red Visor who formerly worked for Unagmi but eventually developed self-awareness, passed through the Manifestation Gate, and is just kinda chilling in the real world now. He's become very intrigued by philosphy and sociology and existentialism and is a total nerd who reads long, dry academic papers just for fun. Hes also probably the closest thing to a well-adjusted individual in all of Ninjago. Red Visors dont originally have individual names iirc, but he named himself after a particular HTTP error code bc that's just his sense of humor. His friends call him 'Four' for short. Ive also been considering putting him in a post-ns12 fic that ive actually been working on for several weeks now, but that depends on whether or not i actually write the darn thing

Avery - elemental master oc!

Now i went a bit overboard with her backstory, but if youll indulge me for a bit of a rant! So, in the distant future, long after the original ninja are gone with only Lloyd left bc immortality, a kid named Avery befriends the current master of amber, named Kiara. Anywho, a new threat has been wrecking Ninjago and an old, wisened Lloyd has been recruiting elemental masters to help him protect the world once more. And since Kiara is the new master of amber, she gets recruited - and because Avery is her bestie, she insists on tagging along.

Avery isnt initially an elemental master, tho! She starts out in a support role that is functionally similar to Samurai X. But over time she gets a bit jealous of everyone's cool powers and adventures, and all the attention they get from saving the world all the time. So when a new villain manages to find the Teapot of Tyrahn and releases Nadakhan...well, Avery gets duped into wishing for elemental power. And thus the element of acid is created! The drawback? Using her power physically hurts her! And she doesnt have a lot of control over it! Isnt that fun.

Anyway even after they defeat Nadakhan (for good this time), Avery is still stuck with her broken element, and old!Lloyd trains her to control it. And JUST when she is finally getting the hang of things, guess who shows up - the Time Twins! Remember how they yoinked off to the future at the end of HoT? Yeah this is that future. And remember the Obsidian Glaive from Shadow of Ronin? The relic capable of manipulating peoples memories? Yeah they manage to piece that thing back together, and use it on Kiara to coerce her into turning traitor and siding with the Hands of Time (by twisting her memories to make her think Avery isnt her friend but rather her enemy). So in a big confrontation between Avery and the Time Twins/Kiara, Kiara shoves Avery into a time vortex.

Eventually, Avery lands in the past. Several centuries in the past. Roughly circa season 3 of the canon era, to be specific. And. Uh. Shes not having a great time, lets just say that. Especially since old!Lloyd's teachings were the only thing that helped Avery control her broken element, but now she has to deal with a version of Lloyd that is actually less experienced than her and its...complicated. So Avery has some messy baggage regarding Lloyd, and also its just generally weird to have her old man mentor be so young and spry and silly.

In an AU where Avery exists, shed have met the ninja during Chen's tournament (due to future knowledge she knows Chen is evil, but old!Lloyd has never been especially forthcoming about the more traumatic details of his past and also she has terrible memory, so she while she knows Chen is evil she doesnt exactly know the nature of his schemes. Shes just here bc she wants to steal Clouse's spellbook in case it has any time travel spells that can send her home.) From then on she would be a recurring ally, using her vague-at-best knowledge of world history to aid them in their various quests, until officially joining the team to help search for Master Wu.

Anyway, im not much of an artist but here's a drawing of Avery! Dont ask me to draw 418 tho, i dont think my limited art skills reach that far

I have some more ocs, but these are the most well-developed, fleshed-out characters i have so far.

Some ghost of tsushima self ship art.

(Tbh i know this game isn't accurate historically much. And honestly as long as people dont use these inaccuracies(the samurai code shown in the game wasnt actually truly developed historically till waaaaaay later and was heavily romanticized in the game. Shimura especially, however it was for plot. Sadly. Same with jin. Ugh. Poor jin suffered from protag problems. And yuna,never called out in the narrative for her problems and honestly celebrated because she's diet ninja lady. Masako,norio,and ishikawa are the only support characters that actually got development, called out and resolve truly. I dont feel the others got resolve and closure as much. And taka was wasted. Ryuzo too. The iki island was to add more enemies and get people into the game. But nobody played it enough to truly care. And thats because it suffered from trying to hard to be fantastical and romantic and not actually talk about japanese history and culture in a way that feels actually deep. Through their eyes not a western lense. Now im not saying it wont sell if you do. Im saying it suffers in art because of that. To ignore that is foolish. It could have been waaaay better but its marketing sucked. 🤷‍♀️ . It got wrongfully overshadowed by other games. But regardless despite its flaws,its a good game.) in arguments in a dumb way (as in trying to say one way is the best or right way when nobody was right or wrong truly in the story as its war and war is ugly. And unfortunately people tend to fall in that black n white view of it. Sure they made dumb decisions that i personally think is ridiculous but thats not the point. The point was. War is bad,here's why.) they already have fantasy elements in the game so they already threw out historical events(tho i wish they didn't) out the window. So i say self ship,accuracy be damned at this point. If nobody's caring neither do i)

Anyways. Enough rambling,srry bout that. We didn't come for opinions and analysis of the game. We came for self shipping,good feels,and canon be damned.

Takatora waited.

The cheap brothel he was in was a small two-story building, a bar on the ground floor with a few rooms above. It served low-quality sake and the floor was mostly dirt and hay, but it was clean and he knew people there minded their business.

He made sure to pay the old lady behind the counter enough money for that.

The establishment was full at that hour of the night, with customers drinking and flirting with the women that walked around in skimpy clothing. The prostitutes smiled and laughed, searching for a man to spend an hour or two, and hopefully make some money out of it.

They knew not to approach him.

"You're looking awfully lonely."

At least some did.

He glanced at whoever spoke to him, ready to send them away, when his eyes locked on your face. He was unable to do anything but stare, mouth agape as he took in your features. You looked different, you sounded different; but it was you, without a doubt.

"Y/N–"

"I'm assuming you got my note?" you asked, eyes nervously glancing around you. He did the same, quickly assuring himself that no one was paying attention to any of you. He nodded and retrieved a small piece of paper where you had scribbled a code.

"You remembered..." he said. After so many years, he would never believe you to still know the code that you had invented as love-struck teenagers.

"Of course I do," the smile you send him took his breath away. Your hand raised to lay on top of his, still holding the cup of sake, sending an electric-like sensation throughout his body. He could feel his heartbeat in his ears as you pressed yourself against his side, mouth so close to his own that he felt himself get hot all over, "I've missed you, Tora."

Your kiss was exactly like he remembered; soft, warm and passionate. It set his body on fire, a burn that grew into a desire so big he could barely control himself from taking you right there on the counter.

You broke the kiss before he could pull you into his lap, pressing your cheek on his as you took deep breaths.

"We shouldn't do this here," you whispered in his ear, "If Lord Takeda finds out–"

"He won't, I made sure of that."

It only took a look between you for him to stand up and take you upstairs. You walked through the narrow hallway, him pulling you by the hand as you hurried to a room at the end. Moaning and giggling could be heard on either side of the hallway, shadows visible through the paper-thin sliding doors.

You were kissing the moment you sled the door of your room shut. You undressed each other’s kimonos like ravaging animals, hungry for each other's touch, each other's body, each other's kiss. It had been so long.

Your body felt and looked different after all those years. You were a grown woman now, body full of curves and skin still soft but tarnished with scars that weren't there before.

You were the most beautiful woman he had ever laid his eyes on.

"I missed you so much..." he whispered against your lips, gently laying you on top of the simple futon that was the only barrier between your body and the tatami-mat floor.

You moaned, gripping his long hair as his hands started touching all over your body, big palms kneading your breasts as his tongue tasted the saltiness of your skin. He got drunk on your words of praise and lust, wanting this moment to last forever.

It wasn't long before you felt him against your core, hard and leaking as he positioned himself in-between your legs. He shoved himself inside you at the same time he groaned into your mouth, swallowing your moans as he filled you to the brim.

Being inside you again felt like a dream, warm and wet cunt gripping his length like you wanted to keep him inside you forever. He took deep breaths as he slowly started to move, afraid he was going to finish before he had barely begun.

"Please move...Tora, please," your words made it impossible for him to control himself for much longer, lost in your body and all the pent-up desire. So he did what you told him to do, more than happy to obey.

That's what he did best, after all.

But not always.

"What do you think Lord Takeda will do if he finds out?" you asked after you were both satiated and spent, lying in each other's arms as you regained your breath. He took his time answering, not wanting to think about it. Even the possibility of it made his stomach turn.

"He will have me killed for laying with his favorite kunoichi," he said, arm tightening around your shoulders in an unconscious gesture, "But I like to think that he will have mercy on you."

"You know that I tried to come back to you..." you whispered after some time of nothing but complete silence. He hummed in acknowledgment, and you continued, "But I had missions to complete every time I tried to come back, and in the rare times I was here you weren't, and–"

"You don't have to explain yourself to me," he interrupted, "I know Lord Takeda went to great measures to stop us from seeing each other..." it hurt Takatora to think about it like that, but it was the truth. When they grew up, his childhood friend – Takeda Katsuyori – became the daimyo of the clan while he – Samura Takatora – became his samurai. The fact that they both loved the same girl only strained their relationship further, "He loves you, you know?"

"But I chose you ten years ago," you said with a kiss to his chest, right on his tiger tattoo, "I chose you tonight," a kiss to his neck, "And I will choose you ten years from now."

He hungrily kissed you back when you reached his lips, already burning in desire for you. You made love again, so desperate and passionate like only two forbidden lovers could be.

"Run away with me," he blurted out hours later when you were both on the verge of falling asleep. But he couldn't. He couldn't rest knowing that there was the possibility that he would lose you again.

He meant what he said. He would rather become a ronin and be with you, than continuing to live without you by his side. You stared at him with wide eyes, and he waited, hopeful and terrified of your answer.

Then you nodded and smiled, a beautiful grin that made him sure that he wouldn’t hesitate to kill anyone who dared to stop you.

Anyone.

You parted ways before the sun was up, with a kiss and the promise to meet again that night when the moon was at its highest.

He spent his day thinking of you, anxiously waiting for the time where he could inconspicuously flee the castle. When that time arrived, he grabbed the few belongings he had and his treasured daisho set, stole a horse, and went to the agreed place.

Takatora waited. But you never showed up.

So he drew his katana and did what he had to do and.

A Ronin had no masters, after all.

Kunoichi: female ninja

Daimyo: Japanese feudal lords

Daisho swords: set of long and short swords, worn by Samurai warriors. The long sword is called Katana and the short one is called Wakizashi.

midmonth recap 3

hello everyone! this was gonna be our last midmonth recap, but due to the bingo’s extension, we’re going to get one more! woot!

for this recap we have a crap ton of fic and a lovely (if smaller) pool of art!

There are many reasons why people may dislike storms. Maybe, like Kai, they find few things worse than being cold and wet. But for the other three members of the ninja team, storms offer a much more pleasant experience.

Steam Swap: Idea Dump

So, looking at the last of my sleep deprived asks™, I realize I have more ideas I want to share

Basically, this is a Kai and Nya role swap AU. I’m calling it Steam Swap because…steam?

Nya is master of fire

Kai is master of water/samurai x

Kai is still the older brother

In the pilot, Kai gets kidnapped instead of Nya

Also in the pilot, Jay won’t stop awkwardly flirting

Nya finds it cute tho

Kai still has fear of water/drowning/inability to swim so that should be fun

Kai does end up sort of obsessing over being the green ninja

But gets over it sooner/healthier than rescuing a kid from a volcano

Kai is a flirty samurai

Nya gets her true potential by realizing it’s okay to fail and leave the fangblade behind

Because Lloyd is something she can’t lose

Kai gets his true potential by overcoming his aquaphobia and accepting his role

Cause that is what he did when he saved Lloyd he accepted his true role

Love triangle is removed because that plot is PAINFUL

Nya ends up low key adopting Lloyd as a brother when she first meets him so the serpentine get released differently (ideas, please)

Their parents don’t change elements

Nya with fire tho is really epic to think about

Also Kai still has big bro instincts

He’s only becoming the water ninja to save his little bro Lloyd

And he doesn’t want to fail but he’s so SCARED

Skybound’s Jaya plot is less development more showing the ship’s stability and awesomeness

I ship Jaya ok?!

Kai passing on the samurai to Pixal should be fun

Okay as I said it’s an au with kittie (6kuro) so I’m gonna grab the things it said and I said lmao

warning its a LONG disjointed post bc im too tired to make. a good post fdhghdf

lovelypeaches08/28/2019cole and kai would settle down real late like....in their late thirties because they want to keep their children as safe as possible, being elemental masters and having enemies and all

at first wu wants them to fight longer and shit but hes OLD so who cares and theres probably conflict on thatbut kai and cole are old enough to realized they dont have to be controlled

so they get married, symbolically if anything, because they've been dating for probably a little over a decade now and known each other even longer, AND been living together for the same amount of time

theyre the first of the ninja to settle down, and they buy a small house in a village thats maybe an hour away from ninjago city

the tininess of the house is made up for by the largeness of the yard, where cole likes to garden, especially fruits and vegetables

cole works as a stay at home free lance artist, doing stuff like commissions, book covers, comics, etc for moneykai does something that puts his charisma to use, probably something in business that lets him advertise and talk a lot..he could never settle down for a stay at home job or anything, even with all his thrilling ninja stories

they have enough money from donations and awards to thrive off these jobs, and ninjago probably pays them kind of like retirement

cole cooks for kai so he always has a meal ready when hes home, so then kai cooks on the weekend

anyways, they have two kids, about 3 years aparti haven't figured them much out yet, but kai and cole cook and bake with themcoles parenting style is very protective and rather spoils them, while kai lets them do whatever as long as its not immediately dangerousthey balance each other out well, so their kids grow up loved and well rounded

the kids go to a small school on the outskirts of ninjago city, and get asked about their parents a LOT. they kind of like the attention but it gets irritating

moving on to the other ninja who also start to settle down,jay doesnt really want kids, so he passes on his powers with ~science~ or something, but only when hes a lot olderhe does engineering at borg industries or something, and he messes around a lot but gets away with it bc hes the blue ninjahes like kai and coles kids Fun Uncle, since he lives in a big apartment in downtown ninjago city, with a bunch of cool techkai and coles family often take elongated road trips therejay thinks hes a cool relative but besides being super lenient hea actually kind of embarrassing lol

nya settles down a bit later than the rest of them, because she wants to live her ninja days to the fullesti could go on about my domestic samurai au but her and pixal have a kid who gets nyas water powersnya is much more eager to train her kid than cole and Kai are (they want to start properly training thwir children when theyre like 16, much to wus disappointment)nya doesn't force anyrhing on her kid but she doesnt protect her kid from the fact they'll have to train sooner or latershes determined on still changing the world, so she's a strong political leader, with innovative ideas who doesnt approve of ninjagos government and wants to change it for the betterShe also lives in downtown, but isn't as fun as jayher kid is younger than kai and coles, but kai and coles kids look up to them because they're very independent and skilled! their mom is also super cool, but not in a silly way. she rocks leather jackets and drives her kid around on a motorcycle

lovelypeaches08/28/2019zane is tricky for me...i like to imagine him sticking with lloyd to being a ninja or whatever, since hes going to be alive a lonnggg timehe also wants to respect wus wishes, so he teaches students and fights alongside lloydhe does so much less however, and finds a lot of time to visit his friends

kai and coles kids are shy around him at first, him being a nindroid whose still a ninja, but hes so much nicer and softer than expectedhe always brings them presenrs and enjoys quality time with them, so he's basically their favorite uncle

now lloyd continues his master training, to become the next master after wu dies. hed be the one to guide the next generation of elemental masters as well as their parents in training thembut don't worry, he gets a break too, since the other ninja help him out. hes much less burdened then wu was in the later years of his lifeok thats all i think

My commentary now

little boy whos like 3 and super wide eyed and excited and loves pink (when he foudn out zane at one point had a pink gi he asked if he could get one too)older girl around 6 whos a big daddys girl and loves to garden with cole and make mud piez

the little girl is the fire em - she had temper issues linked to autismz which they worked through her with early and never thought of it but she has a big passion for gardening they mistook for elemental connection when rly she just LUVS IT

little boy is em of earth - hes a natural born leader and stubborn, wide eyed and excitable. again bc they worked w both their kids about their tempers and such they never realized he was just naturally good at keeping his composure. also a lot like jay keeping morals upnaturally strong but both their kids are and i hc the super strength doesnt come in until peubertyz

shes a bit of a late bloomer with em powers but one day their little boy accidentally makes a pot hole inside the kitchen bc he was excited over zane cookingthey took too good of care of their kids and his true potential was simple bc he was a litol kid which was im going to live my best fcuking life with friends and family *rips a hole in the ground

kai and cole are the gross sappy parents that trade kisses n their kids are like thats DISGUSTING youre DISGUSTINGLY IN LOVE

the girl is Reka which means sweet in maori (a personal headcanon for cole) and shes their sweetheart
