Happy Halloween!

I have finally finished the WIP!

Who knew the colouring would take so long! 😮‍💨 I was originally going to do a Castlevania AU for my Zodiac OCs (these are two of them) but I couldn’t find a good reference for the scene I wanted so I decided why not do some trick or treating?

Sebastian is dressed as Hercules since he’s Greek and a demigod, I was originally going to have him as Rapunzel but I thought about in universe and no way would Selene allow her son to wear a dress so he’s Herc instead. Scorps is a Grimm Reaper because let’s just say he has a connection to Death.

I love how their adorable expressions came out especially Sebastian’s, I will come up with any excuse to draw him starry-eyed.

So I'm playing Pokemon: Let's go Eevee (my first Pokemon game) and man I'm glad I made my gay OCs the player and rival because there are some scenes I'm surprised they kept for the boy version.

Fire & Ice (Sebastian & Scorpious)

I've been in the mood to draw my favourite boys again and while I'm at it make a good ipad wallpaper for myself.

I made this to experiment with the brushes as I haven't used a lot of them. I'm not good at lighting so I thought doing something with fire would be a good test.

I tried going for a semi realistic look (I say semi because I can't draw realism to save my life) and they look so grown! If there was ever an animated series based off my story this would be its art style!

This is my first time drawing Sebastian and Scorpious' sacred weapons and I think they came out pretty cool.

I don't post a lot about my OCs because they don't get as much attention or love as my fanart so I'd be nice to get some feedback

your OCs pet peeves, specifically about chores?

I have a lot of OCs so I'll only do a few from my Zodiac series.

Scorpious:

Doesn't really have an opinion. The guy grew up on the streets so having any home is better then that life.

His pet peeve is anything Sebastian related with chores. You name it, he hates it.

Sebastian:

Hates it! Will groan and complain about anythinh especially the amount of dust he finds not realising its his own fault for not dusting his things more frequently (Scorpious has to remind him way too much).

He was raised in a rich environment so he's not used to doing a lot things like chores, usually someone else would do it for him.

Aggie/Corra/ Still can't chose a name for her:

Doesn't really have any pet peeves for chores as it's quite relaxing for her though she does get annoyed how many much mess her dad makes. A lot of arguments start because of the amount of bottles she finds in his bedroom, kitchen and places you wouldn't think to look.

Also washing dishes. Even though she can literally manipulate water she's terrible at stopping the water from the sink from getting on her clothes and floor.

Grey:

Doesn't do chores but will complain if the person cleaning doesn't do it exactly like how he likes it, accidently causing him to do chores.

Welcome back to doing art of my favourites zodiac boys.

I had this image in my head after my 500th time listening to 'La Seine' from a Monster in Paris, for some reason I just like the image of Scorpious in a jazzy outfit idk.

While drawing this I kinda wanted to write a Monster in Paris AU but I've already got a bunch of AUs already so maybe another day 😅. Just to name a few I've got a Persona 5 AU (because I realised how similar Sebastian and Akechi look and I thought that'd be an interesting story), The Never-ending Story AU (Don't ask), and Eros and Psyche AU (because they're loosely based off the story).

Anyways this piece turned out surprisingly good even though I'm awful at full bodies and drawing side profiles so I'm proud of myself in that department.

If you want to know more about my AUs or just my characters, I'm happy to answer and/or rant about the subject.

But for now I'll just be staring at this piece wondering how I made Sebastian look so cool (for once)

Character Inspiration Mood Board

I made a mood board based off the difference inspirations of my Zodiac Ocs, Sebastian (curly haired boy) and Scorpious (blue haired boy).

Some of these inspirations have to do with certain events in my story e.g. if you know the story of Steve and Bucky you can probably figure that out. Others like Aladdin & Jasmine is more backstories, especially Scorps (he's basically Aladdin with trust issues).

Some are just dynamics like Lumity and WiccanxHulkling and how dorking and wholesome they are.

Also I'm a mythology nerd so of course they were going go have Greek myth inspirations, every character in my story does in some way as the Zodiacs I'm doing are the modern Greek ones so it's appropriate, Eros and Psyche are especially appropriate for their story (crazy mum going after your partner and all that).

I thought I'd post this to give you an idea of what Bastian & Scorps are like and I think it helps with future art and writings.

Zodiac OCs Incorrect Quote #1

(If you'd like to learn about these characters go to my deviantart art because there's a lot to their backstories. All you need to know right now is Sebastian (boy in second and third panel) is the Zodiac sign of Sagittarius and Scorpious (boy from the first panel) is Scorpio. Also the two are boyfriends.

I found an "incorrect quote generator" a while back and screenshotted a bunch of the funny scenes I thought fit my characters, I only did it with my Zodiac OCs though because the quotes seemed to fit them way more then my other series'.

I was looking at my screenshots of the generated quotes and found one that was actually a quote from Brooklynn 99 that surprisingly fit Sebastian and Scorps a lot so I decided to draw it out.

I drew them in more casual clothing as Scorps deserves a break from consistently being drawn in armour, fun fact: Bastian's outfit is actually a reference to his first design where he had more of an orange and brown colour scheme (because I thought those were the Sagittarius colours, after I found out the actual colours that represent the sign I redesigned him closer to what he is now).

I've always have trouble with text boxes, Adobe Illustrator doesn't really give a lot of options or at least not any you'd see in an actual comic or manga, so sorry if it looks bad.

I love how the last panel came out, Sebastian's expression came out so well.

I had trouble with the other panels though, I wanted to have Scorps holding the bridge of his nose but I'm awful at drawing hands so when I tried drawing the pose it came out awful so I just went with arms crossed. I also think Sebastian's face in the second panel didn't come out as great as the third's, he looks more confused then worried or sad like in the third, though that could just be me.

This was really fun to draw, it was a simple design but I loved how it came out.

My Main OCs dynamics

I'm back to posting about my OCs again.

For all of you who don't know these two are the main characters of a story I'm writing on-and-off. It's about a group of warriors with powers based off of the Zodiac Signs, the powers pass from generation to generation, fighting to save humanity from monsters called Nightmares.

Sebastian (crazy boy on the left) is the Sagittarius incarnation while Scorpious (other crazy boy) is... I think it's pretty obvious.

I saw this meme on Pinterest (https://pin.it/67jsH58) and thought it fit their dynamic so well so made this meme. (They're basically Sora and Riku but gay 😅)

Screw it, I did it anyway! Here's a Q&A for my OC Sebastian (my profile pic)

Little Summary of Plot & Lore to understand what I'm talking about

The Zodiacs are a group of 12 people each having the abilities of one of the Zodiac star signs. After one is killed the powers transfer to their descant, usually child but could be any family member younger then them, or if they don't have any relatives left it will transfer to a random person that fits the criteria.

The fallen goddess Selene is destined to die by the group's hand so has tried in very way to stop this from happening including creating a child with one of the Zodiacs power to stop the destined day, Sebastian.

She keeps him isolated from the outside world so the Zodiacs can never find him but one day Sebastian is able to sneak away and accidently bumps into the group and finds more about himself then he thought.

Basics:

1. What is their gender?

Male he/him

2. What is their sexuality?

Closest I could say is Pan

3. What is the meaning behind their name? Do they have any nicknames?

Originally this name was Samuel but that name sounded boring so I choice the name Sebastian because it sounds more unique. It apparently it means "venerable" or "revered" and is Greek.

4. Do they have any siblings? How many? Are they older or younger? Which sibling are they the closest with?

Technically he has thousands of siblings though he doesn't know most of them. His mother is a goddess, Selene, and her children are the original stars (though the Zodiac constellations aren't at least not anymore, they're the previous incarnations of said Zodiac). Sebastian only knows the ones who live on Earth, so about 7. He's the youngest of all of them and is the closest with Aetolus and Pandia.

5. What’s their relationship with their parents like? What about other relatives?

Imagine Mother Gothel and Rapunzel's relationship but if Rapunzel was also scared of her (they're relationship is complicated).

As Sebastian’s dad was the previous Zodiac Sagittarius he also has some relatives from that side: Arlyn (Aquarius)(not final name) is his cousin with her dad, Arlyn (Aries)(not final name) being his biological uncle.

6. What would they give their life for?

The safety of his friends and the people he cares for especially Scorpious.

7. Are they in a romantic relationship? With who? How did they meet?

He's got a boyfriend, Scorpious, he's half-humam-half-Arachnoid (humanoid creatures with features of spiders, scorpions etc).

Their meet cute is a loooong story (could be its own book) but basically Sebastian’s mother is the queen of The Kingdom of Midnight and likes to take homeless and/or orphaned children to make into her soldiers (been doing this for centuries), one day Scorpious was one of the "lucky" ones "chosen" to be taken to the Kingdom but of course as soon as he gets there he immediately tries to escape when he bumps into Sebastian.

Scorpious get captured and has nearly about to die before Sebastian saves his life by using his royal status, Selene finds out about this and allows Scorpious to be royal body guard.

After years of their relationship turned from a one sided friendship (on Sebastian side) to a long time full friendship until they finally released their romantic feelings for each other (though it took Scorps longer) and decided to give it a go. Of course there's more to their relationship but that's the basic run-down.

8. What do they believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them?

Sebastian doesn't like to think about death.

9. What is their favorite color? Favorite animal?

He's the type that can't choose just one colour but here's the top 3: turquoise, purple and orange.

10. What are some of their talents/skills?

He likes to draw/doodle. Usually landscapes of the places he wants to draw but he also made the original sketch that inspired Scorpious armour.

11. If they could make a mark on history, what would they like it to be?

Well, defeating this evil psycho mother is one but he also wants to help get the other child soldiers out of the Kingdom and get some form of normal happy lives.

12. How old are they? When is their birthday?

At the beginning of the story he's 15 but by the final arc he'll be 17-18 (haven't decided yet)

13. What do they do for fun?

He likes to read a lot especially book about the outside world and all the different cultures and history if he can find them. Also hanging out with his friends anytime he can.

14. What is their favorite food? How often do they get to eat it?

He doesn't get the greatest variety of meals due to the isolated Kingdom he grew up in but when he's with the Zodiacs after escaping he tries a lot of different foods though his favourite is pepperoni pizza 😋

15. What was something their parents taught them?

Sebastian's abandoned issues (and also this ability to lie well too)

16. Are they religious?

When your mother is a literal goddess religion doesn't really matter to you.

17. Where were they born?

The Kingdom if Midnight. Location? Unknown

18. What languages can they speak? Where did they learn these languages?

My universe's equivalent to English because I'm awful at languages (though Scorpious is my story's equivalent to Egyptian so Sebastian knows a few words from him)

19. What is their occupation?

The new incarnation of Sagittarius. That's the closest thing to an occupation.

20. Do they have any titles? How did they earn them?

The Archer. The Sagittarius. The Incarnation of Sagittarius. Prince (though he doesn't use it a lot and doesn't like others using it)

Personality:

21. What is their favorite thing about their personality?

How curious he is about literally everything

22. What is their least favorite thing about their personality?

How airheaded and dumb he can be sometimes, his friends definitely do

23. Do they get lonely easily?

Very easily. Perk of his abandonment issues 👍

24. Do you know their MBTI type?

Apparently he's a ENFP-T. I don't know what that means

25. What is their biggest flaw?

Like I said he's kinda an airhead but add that to his stubbornness and you get an annoying situation

26. Are they aware of their flaws?

Not really, he usually has to be told

27. What is their biggest strength?

His empathy even for people other would consider 'the enemy' due to this life in the Kingdom of Midnight

28. Are they aware of their strengths?

He cares too much for everyone, he very much knows he just doesn't mention it because he think he'd sound like a narcissistic

29. How would they describe their own personality?

"Um... I don't know. I like exploring and stuff so I'd say I'm curious but I don't know if that me or because I'm a Sagittarius and they all are like that.

Of course I'm friendly... and of course I love my friends and family...

Maybe perky?

30. When frightened, will they resort to “fight” or “flight”?

He freezes as much as he tries to ran or dodge he always ends up freezing but he definitely tries to fight.

31. Does this character ever put somebody else’s needs before their own? Who do they do this for? How often do they do this?

Literally everyone, too much

32. What is their self esteem like?

About average he doesn't really care enough about himself to worry about such things

33. What is their biggest fear? How would they react to having to face it?

Loosing the most important person to him

...he reacts badly

34. How easily do they trust others with their secrets? With their lives?

He trusts people easily but not enough to deal them his secrets. You'd have to be close enough, like friends status, to talk about that stuff

35. What is the easiest way to annoy them?

Not believing them or undermining him

36. What is their sense of humor like? Give an example of a joke they would find humorous.

Sebastian: Be careful, it's really muggy outside

Scorpious: If I go outside and all our mugs are on the front lawn!

Sebastian: *sips coffee from bowl silently*

Of course he means it! Though not to strangers or acquaintances, you have to reach friend status for that

38. What do others admire most about their personality?

They're pure heart and willing to learn new things

39. What does their happily ever after look like?

Exploring the world with Scorpious and checking everything off the 'To-Do' list they made

40. Who do they trust most? Is that trust mutual?

Scorpious definitely but after meeting Gray and Arlyn he trust them too, though he hadn't known them for as long as Scorpious

Physical Profile:

41. What does their laugh sound like? Do they snort when they laugh? How often do they laugh?

I'm not good at describing... laughter but he definitely doesn't snort. He laughs when he's in a funny or awkward situation, you know like a normal person.

42. What is their favorite thing about their physical appearance?

Love doing his hair even if I made it a bit overly complicated to draw

43. What is their least favorite thing about their physical appearance?

Drawing all his freckles and making them look good

44. Do they have any scars? If so, what are the stories behind those scars?

Not really, just random scrapes from training

45. How would they describe their own appearance?

"I'm very tanned for one with lots of freckles on my face and some on my body. I have short curly mousy brown hair - I used to have longer hair, didn't like it much - I also have bright turquoise eyes too!"

46. How easily can they express emotions? How easily can they hide emotions?

Sebastian basically been trained since birth to hide his emotions behind a smile, it's not exactly a healthy thing to teach your kid. A part of his arc is learning to show more emotions especially negative ones

47. What’s their pain tolerance like?

Even though he's technically a demi-god and is a little more durable then average he still feels pain like a normal human

48. Do they have any tattoos? What are the stories behind those tattoos?

No. I don't like giving underage characters tattoos

Pretty casual, he likes basically anything with a hood but he also likes jumpers, t-shirt and jeans

He's a short boy, I'm terrible at height so I don't have measurements but he's shorter then the average teenage boy

52. What is their body type? Are they muscular, chubby, skinny, etc?

He's skinny but due to years of training with a bow & arrow he's got a little muscle on him

53. What is their hair color? Eye color? Skin tone?

Already described it. Mousy Brown curly hair, Turquoise eyes and tanned

54. What is their current hairstyle? What have been some of their past hairstyles? Which was their favorite hairstyle?

For most of his life he's been forced to have long hair because his mother does it every kid she has but one's he escapes he cuts his hair short

55. What is their alcohol tolerance like? What kind of drunk are they? How bad are their hangovers?

He's the type to get wasted after 1-2 slips

56. What do they smell like? Why do they smell like this? (Is it the things they’re around or a perfume they wear?)

I like to think flowers but he's probably smells a little stinky

I don't like thinking about my characters sex lives so basically every one of my characters are ace unless said otherwise

His eyes and hair

59. What does their resting face look like? Do they have RBF?

No he's has a resting confused face

Tossing and turning and taking all the sheats

Environment:

61. Which season is their favorite season?

Probably winter because he grew up in a desert he's too used to the heat so seeing snow is definitely a treat

62. Have they ever been betrayed? How did it affect their ability to trust others?

Finding a new activity or location to explore

64. Do they get cold easily? Do they get overheated easily?

Due to being raised in a Kingdom in the middle of a desert he's used to heat so gets cold much easier then Gray or Arlyn would

He rarely get sick, perk of having an immortal mother.

66. Where do they live? Do they like it there?

At the beginning of the story he lives in the Kingdom of Midnight but after escaping he moves in with the other Zodiacs in their HQ

67. Is their bedroom messy? What about their bathroom? Kitchen? Living room?

His bedroom is very messy though his bathroom is too small to mess up. Sebastian isn't allow in the kitchen after he nearly burnt it down.

68. How did their environment growing up affect their personality?

Due to his isolated childhood he's a little (very) naive. I've already said this but his mother also taught him how to lie and hide his true emotions which didn't effect him well mentally

69. How did the people in their environment growing up affect their personality?

Scorpious and their friends in KoM definitely helped him mentally and emotionally, they helped him open up and understand what love and friendship really is

70. How do they feel about animals? Do they have any pets?

Sebastian is intrigued by animals, everything in KoM is magically made like the food and fauna so he'd never actually met an animal so when he left KoM he learnt a lot about them

71. How are they with children? Do they have any? Do they want any?

I'm a teenager so he's as good with a kid as any average one is, not great

72. Would they rather have stability or comfort?

Probably comfort, he definitely needs some hugs

73. Do they prefer the indoors or outdoors?

Definitely outdoors. He loves exploring the forest near the Zodiac HQ, going to the nearby towns to meet people etc

74. What weather is their favorite? Do they like storms?

Sebastian loves the rain due to the lack of it in his childhood

75. If given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?

Probably doodle random things on his mind like people he knows or locations he'd like to visit

76. How organized are they?

Not all that much. He just basically goes with the flow with most things that isn't his plans of leaving (he literally has a to-do list of everything he wants to do when him and Scorps are outside)

77. What is their most prized possession?

His star locket, he's already had it with him for a long as he can remember but doesn't know where it came from. Can't even unlock it despite it being a locket

78. Who do they consider to be their best friend?

Scorpious of course! They've known each other since they were 6 and haven't left each other's side since

79. What is their economic situation?

He's a prince sooooooo

80. Are they a morning person or a night owl?

His sleep schedule is all over the place, his mother is the goddess of the night so he's used to waking up at night time but he also has to wake up for training which pretty early in the morning

Depends who's blood it is

Cursive but messy

No because they don't have pools in KoM

Fun fact Sebastian and his siblings are slightly inspired by the 7 deadly sins, if I remember right I made Bastian gluttony due to his passion for knowledge (also because he likes to eat)

85. Do they believe in ghosts?

He can actually talk to the previous incarnations of Sagittarius when he unlocks his powers so yes, he very much does

86. How do they celebrate holidays? How do they celebrate birthdays?

He hates celebrating his own birthday (12/12/XXXX) but anyone else's B-day or holiday he'll go all out for

87. What is something they regret?

Everyone has generic American accent in my head but Sebastian, his siblings and Selene (as well as the other gods) are meant to have English accents
