I feel sad my beloved. My stomach is twisted in a spiral and my thoughts stuck on the damage I left you. A dagger was drawn to speed up your decision. What will you choose? Did you know that my eyes are covered in Aquaurian water or is your Earthly nature too out of touch for my ego? What would I do without you? I don’t like to beg so I’ve buried my heart from you. Pull it back onto the surface so I don’t lose you because I cannot bare to be without you. Your tough exterior is no match for my fiery wrath and you know that my Dear Gomez! Follow your heart and not the traps in your skull or else the dagger will forever rest between us.

Another Procreate Test I did that I want to post because I’m super happy with how it came out.

This is my Zodiac OC, Sebastian (Sagittarius) in what I like to call his ‘Season 1 design’. All the art I’ve posted of him with shorter hair is more his season 2 onwards looks (he goes through an arc, a sad one).

I did a few pencil doodles of him in different poses a while back and really like how the original sketch of this came out so I knew I wanted to do a digital version and this seemed like the perfect time.

I designed his poncho, short hair design way before this one and as the story changed a lot I wanted that look to have more meaning behind it. I wanted this look to look dark and depressing to match how he saw his home but not too different to his later look that you’d be confused as to think he’s a different character.

Also since his mother’s symbol is the moon I wanted him to have something moon related to show her control of him and I really like the idea of the head piece to make the look look less generic.

I made the background simple as I’m awful with background but since Procreate has so many cool brushes I thought I’d use the background to test them out and I really like the brush that I ended up using for this background. It’s messy and choppy and really pleasing with the colours I chose.

Going back to my FictionPress account and reading the reviews on my story is making me remember why I started writing my Zodiac Sign story in the first place.

I tend to forget quite easily what I started writing that story for. It was for me to express an idea that I thought was interesting, and that I thought other people might find interesting too.

And they did.

I often let impostor syndrome get the best of me, and that’s been my downfall a whole lot. It’s prevented me from completing things that deserve a chance to be completed.

I also worry that I’m not writing fast enough for others, that they’ve already lost interest in my work and have moved on to other things already.

But I spent several years uploading to that account, and there were people who stuck with it through all of it, even when I decided to put the story on an indefinite hiatus because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to present it to a publisher or not.

It’s very easy, when you’re on the internet, to get caught up in numbers and views and all of that. Comparison just makes it worse, and I think that’s what happened to me.

Am I satisfied with how the story currently is? No, not really. I have seen many ways that it could be better, and where it’s rushed, and the several plot holes it has that I never explain or talk about.

But that just gives me a chance to make it better.

yes give me the tatsumi rant

god okay so like we know Tatsumi is Christian it's a pretty important part of his character that he is like in his first feature scout story he mentions that he wanted to wear his father's vestments but was scolded for it because they are something that you have to be serious about like this is the most obvious thing anyone would know by looking at Tatsumi.

HOWEVERRRRRR since a lot of Western fans only really think of Christianity as like. Southern Baptist/Mormonism/Jehovah's Witnesses/Extreme Catholicism and like yeahhhhhh those sects are not Great but that's not all there is to Christianity as a religion. I went to an Episcopal service a few weeks ago and it was very fascinating how different it was to the Southern Baptist youth group I attended as a child. But Tatsumi does not follow any sort of American Protestant denomination because he doesn't fucking live here. He's a religious minority in his own country holy fucking shit.

Anyway there is ample evidence within even what has been officially translated that Tatsumi is a chill guy. In the current gacha story Ushimairi pt. 2 we get to see his first interactions with Koga right after moving in and he's literally.

They're chill!!! They're chill and they get along just fine. Koga asks about if Tatsumi thinks dogs are dirty because of his religion right after this and Tatsumi explains that it was because of the historical context and that stray dogs had rabies which is a completely valid reason to not want to like. Interact with dogs, but it's completely fine now because most dogs aren't walking around with rabies!!!

He's also stated that he believes he's going to hell before and that he's accepted that fact but he still believes in God anyway (and he has a conflict of faith later on where he debates if he even still believes or not). He would not be a bigot he wants to accept everyone as they are that's literally why he had the fucking revolution at Reimei over his belief in equality. Goes insane.

Anyway I haven't read most Tatsumi stories I stated in my last post I do not actually care about him all that much because he doesn't appeal to me as a character but mischaracterization on this level drives me up the wall like we are not reading the same stories we are not playing the same game clearly.

for me some of the best art is those pieces that make me uncomfortable, like when it shows the gross and nasty parts of the world or shows me how privileged I am and shakes my core and makes me think. it should always be evaluated whether a subject or theme was handled well and respectfully, but I find being potentially disturbing is an important function of art

Name: Nebula Knight (she/her)

Notes on personality: an outgoing puffball who has a lot of passion into anything that is related to stars. She always has a smile on her face and whenever a challenge presents itself she doesn't hesitate to go for it and give it her all (read: “finally, a worthy opponent! our battle will be legendary!”).

Backstory and Lore: after teaming up with Galacta Knight to fight a threat on her native planet, she was inspired to train more and fight alongside him. She then became one of the Heroes of Yore and due to still not knowing everything about her powers, during one of their hardest fights, she completely lost control and turned into a corrupted version of herself that destroyed everything in its path.

The ancients planned on sealing her away since she was now in an irreversible state, and so they did. She had been trapped in the stars as a constellation ever since.

As time went by, her story as a warrior inspired a comic book series called "Benny's Intergalactic Adventures"

Eventually she does get freed, landing on Popstar. It's thanks to a wish made to a Galactic Nova from a Poppy Bros Jr. And their friend, who wished to meet the hero from their favorite stories, not knowing who the story was actually about.

Fire & Ice (Sebastian & Scorpious)

I've been in the mood to draw my favourite boys again and while I'm at it make a good ipad wallpaper for myself.

I made this to experiment with the brushes as I haven't used a lot of them. I'm not good at lighting so I thought doing something with fire would be a good test.

I tried going for a semi realistic look (I say semi because I can't draw realism to save my life) and they look so grown! If there was ever an animated series based off my story this would be its art style!

This is my first time drawing Sebastian and Scorpious' sacred weapons and I think they came out pretty cool.

I don't post a lot about my OCs because they don't get as much attention or love as my fanart so I'd be nice to get some feedback

rpg speedruns that have step counts are so crazy that just does not seem fun to me. all rpg runs should be like ff9, where good movement will only get you so far avoiding encounters and the rest is up to god <3

#ff9 is such a charming speed run. #like two possible minor glitches and they are not that useful. game built like a steel trap for some reason #takes 9 hours trance will only ever hurt you there's a part where you have to be careful not to mash text too fast or it softlocks the game #actually my favorite rpg run is ff12 (non zodiac age) the technical skill and optimizations in that are insane. #i'm still bitter that since they got the cutscene remover working for ff10 they're never gonna do the full one in a gdq ever again #YES like 7 hours of that 10 hours are cutscenes. so WHAT. make everyone watch the full story of ff10!!!!! #and like it!!!!!!!
