Hi! Thanks for your tremendous work, it's always a pleasure to read your blog! I just wanted to ask your opinion on Hidden Inventory / Premature Death Arc. I know this one is important to make parallels on different characters' stories, but I for me this arc is a surprise. I mean why would Gege suddenly make us involve in the future? 🥲 I just don't understand how he could come to telling us the stories from the past. Do you find it fitting?
Tumblr media
Jujutsu Kaisen is a story primarily about cycles: the previous generation giving way to the newer one, spring turning into summer. In particular it's about the passing of the torches between generations. The elders in Jujutsu Society resist what is natural, they are such hardline traditionalists they often sacrifice the young because they refused to give way and let the new generation replace them.
Gojo Satoru's ideals which are in opposition to the elders state that not only should children be allowed to live out their youths, they should surpass their elders. Gojo is staunchly opposed to say, the elitist Zen'in who believe themselves the strongest, or even Sukuna the greater sorcerer of all time, in the fact he wants the kids he's raising to grow stronger than him.
On the flip side, Jujutsu Kaisen is also about negative cycles, like the curses which can never truly die so are exorcised only to be reformed. It's also about the cycle of abuse, such as Toji being abused by the Zen'in, only to abandon his own son in turn. The flashback arc is necessary, because the problems the current generation are facing started with the previous one. These problems persist because the cycle is unbroken.
Tengen in their explanation states that the distortion that caused Kenjaku's plans to succeed in the modern day happened eleven years ago, and he lists two reasons why, first Zen'in Toji who was not affected by cursed energy, and second Geto who could control curses.
Tumblr media
Toji is hailed as the destroyer of destinies because he's free form cursed energy, but as for a more meta-textual reason why Toji gets as much focus in story as he does, is because much like Maki he's a product of the worst abuses of sorcerer society.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's a reason for this line here when Toji appears before the collected members of the Zen'in Clan, Naobito the head, Maki the Toji of her generation, and Megumi who was almost sold to them and is Toji's son who he abandoned therefore another link in the chain of abuse.
All of these characters are effected by the cycle of abuse in the Zen'in Clan, yes, even Naobito and later on Naoya who appear to be at the top. It's that whole "Toxic Masculinity harms men" thing too. Naobito was not born a drunken, abusive jerk and he was likely not a good father in any capacity considering the way Naoya acts.
They're all trapped in the cycle known as the Zen'in Clan, and they all stare on in envy to the one they think is free, Toji, who escaped and became the sorcerer killer. Toji who, the whole clan was secretly fearful of because they believed he had the capability of killing them / also according to Naoya's take looked down on him because he was an otherworldly strength they did not recognize and tried to suppress him to make themselves feel superior.
Either way, Toji is someone who they have put down their entire life because he wasn't born to meet their standards, because he's something new and different from tradition and the big three houses are the worst traditionalists of Jujustu Society. The Toji they all fear however, is a monster created by the Zen'in Clan themselves. Despite being abused by toxic masculinity, Toji is also toxic masculinity incarnate. He drinks, gambles all of his money away, he's an absentee father, and his greatest onscreen time is shooting a girl who's about Mai's age in cold blood. If Mai was the ultimate victim of the Zen'in Clan's toxic masculinity, then Riko is also the ultimate victim of Toji's masuclinity which didn't just target sorcerers but reached out and targeted innocent girls (Riko) and children (Megumi).
The explanation of who Toji was in the past, how he both killed Riko and drove the wedge between Geto and Gojo's friendship creating the first dsiruption in the cycle is important because in the modern day the Zen'in Clan has not broken the cycle. The abuse of the Zen'in Clan is so bad, that one generation later they've already manufactured another Toji.
Tumblr media
While Maki's rise to power is glorified a little bit too much, in story the fact that the cycle has repeated itself is not a good thing. Maki's lost her chance of happiness and reconciliation with Mai, she's won against the Zen'in but it's a pyrrhic victory, she's now strong at the cost of everything else. As I said before Mai is also a clear parallel to Riko, someone who just wanted to live a normal life cut down in the prime of her youth by a member of the Zen'in, who's death then sparks another person to spiral.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They're just girls who longed for an ordinary life and be together with their loved ones, and Maki and Geto are both haunted by the fact that they were unable to save them in the aftermath. Geto's actions are spurred by the way the world carelessly killed Riko, and Maki gives up on reforming the Zen'in Clan and chooses destruction after they swallow up Mai.
The flashback chapters do more than just give parallels between say Gojo and Geto's friendship and the current friendship between Megumi and Yuji, or even give us Gojo's backstory and insight to his character they also go to great lengths to show us how much things have not changed in the modern day Jujutsu World.
While the distortion that drove Toji to do what he did began in the Zen'in Clan, Geto is basically driven by the faults of Jujutsu Society as a whole. The death of Riko is his eye opening moment where he learns the truth of their society, the young are sacrificed for the old. It's not just the fact Riko died, but afterwards he witnessed crows of people appluading for it, and Toji acting like that death was nothing. There's also the fact her death / sacrifice was ordered by Jujutsu Society in the first place, but Geto thought he could overcome that cycle with strength alone until he couldn't. Geto's monologue that leads to his slow breakdown even refers to being a sorcerer as "an endless cycle."
Tumblr media
The three years of Geto and Gojo's youth is referred to their spring, whereas Premature Death takes place in summer. Not coincidentally, in story Summer is referred to as the worst possible season for curses because curses accumulate during that time.
Tumblr media
Jujusu Kaisen is about cycles, and the inability to escape them. Geto and Gojo's springtime of youth turns to summer, Geto begins to have doubts because of his inability to protect Riko, and his witnessing of sorcerers dying around him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's not just Geto's superiority complex, or his increasing antipathy for the weak normal people who demand sorcerers exorcise curses for them because they can't defend themselves. Geto also bears witness to the continued death of children around him. It's not just a hazard of the job, sorcerer society continually sacrifices young people to uphold the strict traditions of the elders.
Geto is moved by the mistreatment of the young in a way Gojo is, Riko's death is what opens his eyes, a few days Geto goes to the village he witnesses the brutal death of Haibara and Nanami's own feelings of helplessnes to stop it, and then his breaking point is when he sees two twin girls who are sorcerers ganged up on and imprisoned by an entire town, the same way that the indifferent crowds cheered for Riko's death and the same way sorcerer society considered Riko an expendable sacrifice to maintain Tengen.
Sorcerer Society's callous indifference to both the deaths of their sorcerers, but especially the young is what drives Geto to his breaking point. This is also the source of Gojo's ideals, because he realizes something went wrong with Geto and he doesn't want that mistake to repeat.
“For people like us, we naturally know how to get rid of the poisons within their heart. But for youths who hold onto a lot of sentimental feelings, it’s another matter altogether. Their heart might collapse just from getting struck by poison once.” “Isn’t it an adult’s duties to rid poison from a child’s heart? As a teacher, you should know this better than me, right?” [Light novel 1: Ressurection Puppet]
Tumblr media
In Gojo's case he is actively trying at least, to raise kids in a way that they won't break like Geto did. It's the loss of Geto which inspires his current ideals. However, to dwell on this briefly Gojo is also still a very flawed mentor because he's a product of the system who raised him.
Kenjaku comes back in the form of Geto's body to defeat Gojo. Then Sukuna ends up taking Megumi's body away from him. There's a pattern here, two people who Gojo has a strong connection too have their bodies taken away from him. In Megumi's case this is where Gojo has failed to break the cycle because of his stated intetions, because Gojo didn't adopt Megumi to help him after his father died, Gojo swooped in to take Megumi because he was a potential weapon he could use against the elders.
Tumblr media
The flashback arc ends with Gojo making his slightly predatory deal with Megumi, by threatening his sister's happiness unless he complies and lets Gojo train him instead of the Zen'in. Megumi is shown to be a child that's continually having trouble growing up throughout the story, because of his broken home situation.
The ending of Hidden Inventory could have been Gojo learning his lesson and breaking the cycle in regards to Megumi, but he deliberately did not, and so once again the problems the main characters are facing now is created by the failures of the past.
Tumblr media
Gojo Mr. "I can totally beat up on Megumi, it's fine."
In this case though, Hidden Inventory is also about how the problems of the past are plagueing Megumi's life, because the primary villain of it is his father, and the ending of the whole arc is us seeing his first encounter with Gojo. Megumi is in this case the latest youth swallowed up by the old, because Sukuna is quite literally a member of the previous generation physically stealing his body away from him to prolong his life long after he died.
Tumblr media
Tsumiki's death is also a repeat of the death of Mai Zen'in, and Riko Amanai. It's once again the death of an innocent being swallowed up by the toxic masculinity of Jujutsu Society, all while the person who wanted to protect them is completely helpless to stop it. Gojo also took responsibility for Megumi, and Tsumiki both and later on couldn't live up tot hat responsibility, Tsumiki is dead and Megumi is possessed.
The Hidden Inventory flashback arc is there to establish what is basically the beginning of the cycle in the story, so we can see later on how this cycle is repeating itself again and again without being broken even this late (200 chapters) into the story. With the eventual hope that if the adults like Gojo can't fully break the cycle, then the kids he raised will be able to do so in his place.

Are you telling me I‘m the second coming of Toji?
A story from Megumi's POV of living with his two dads.
In this AU, after his first wife's death, Toji ended up in a relationship with a guy. A foreign guy to be exact. And surprisingly... he's into it? This relationship lasts. It goes smoothly, regardless of Toji's continual visits to the bar and flirting with people in the strip clubs.
In other words, Megumi never grows up with a stepmother or a stepsister.
Nah, instead, he's got a very loving dad and a sort of absentee dad.
Now, Megumi knows that one of his dads is his bio dad and the other is his stepfather. But the thing is, Megumi pieces the puzzles together and comes to the wrong conclusion of who is his bio father. Not Toji, surely!
Ok, but why? Well... Toji's partner is none other than Sung Jinwoo. And Sung Jinwoo, who's had the experience of raising his younger sister for many years, takes to raising a child like a fish to the water. (Plus the added bonus of not having to deal with grief.)
When Megumi's shadow technique kicks in, his belief that Sung Jinwoo is his bio dad is only reinforced - look dad, Megumi inherited your shadow powers too!
Toji is more than happy to not correct Megumi's assumption; the less Zenin things in his life, the better.
-o-o-o-o-o-
Okay as for Sung Jinwoo and Toji's relationship, naturally Sung Jinwoo has stuck a few (dozen) shadows into Toji's shadows.
Some call it stalking; Sung Jinwoo calls it for "protection". Either way, Sung Jinwoo knows exactly what Toji is up to, so he's not worried about any cheating or the likes when Toji hits up bars and clubs. :)
As for murder and mercenary contracts? Pft, Sung Jinwoo does what he pleases. Laws are just suggestions to him.

As antagonist who do you think is better between Sukuna, Kenjaku, or Toji? Why? How will you rank them?
Now, out of the three, Sukuna is my favorite. But to say who is the better antagonist? Yeah, I don't have a definite answer really.
Each of them severed/serves their role well as an antagonist to the other characters.
I'll start with Toji. He was more of an... "arc villain". He's not there for the whole plot, but he's still important to it and played a part to someone's arc and development. In this case, it was for Satoru, Suguru and Megumi.
All three of these characters were affected some way because of Toji.
Satoru and Suguru's relationship changed because Toji played a part. Had not Toji been assigned to assassinate Riko and succeeded, they would have went down a different path.
Megumi would probably have been a different kid if Toji had been present in his life.
Also, how he carries himself during his time in the story is amazing. I know, many people say the same thing, but Toji was some boring villain. This man's introduction was him in slides, sweatpants and a sweatshirt while smiling all devious. Dude is a deadbeat, yet got reasons. Not an excuse! He lost the woman he loved and that resorted him back to his old self. He sold Megumi to the Zenin clan because he believed if Megumi inherited the technique, which he did, he would have a better life than he did with the Zenin clan. Was it right? No, but it was to Toji at the time. He cares about Megumi to some extent because even with coming back to life and fighting his son, he had been acting on pure instinct. Yet, looking Megumi dead in his face is what snapped him out and once he learned Megumi chose to use "Fushiguro" as his surname, Toji with out a smile for his son.
During his time on screen, there hadn't been a moment that Toji wasn't entertaining. (Can't believe that's DIO BRANDO that voices Toji.)
Next, Kenjaku, they're like... the villain behind the villains. They're responsible for a lot of what happened to the others. Hell, their intellect is part of what kicked off the plot. If Kenjaku did not know how to make curse objects, Yuji would not have eaten Sukuna's finger. Kenjaku is a cunning, evil individual. Playful, manipulative, aloof. Yet, Kenjaku ain't no coward. Someone challenges them and Kenjaku is about it now.
How do they move in those robes the way that they do in fights? I don't know. (Yeah, that's a question I have for Suguru, too. Like, are those robes heavy or... nevermind.)
Like, Toji and Sukuna who I'll talk about later, Kenjaku doesn't bore me. While Toji is more of that bloodthirsty active kind of villain, Kenjaku reminds me of a villain that will sit in a big chair with a cat on the lap and monolgue. Then it's like when they get up, they show you why you should have your guard up and not take them lightly.
But the thing with Kenjaku is, they don't try to make others fear them or even follow their plans to be worshipped. They just do whatever they want. They're unhinged but not in a feral, loud way. It's more sly and unexpected because when you think Kenjaku has done something wild, here comes something even more wild.
There's also the fact that the mangaka took the classic tropes of the MC having an absentee father (parents in Yuji's case) and evil dad and played with them here a bit.
Oh, Kenjaku is someone's evil dad, alright. But they ain't Yuji's. Yuji's dad, we know Yuji has some recollection of him that he doesn't really remember much of, but the mom? Not so much. I wonder, Kenjaku, as to why that is. I know you know the answer!
Now, for Sukuna!
As I said, he's my favorite out of the three.
He is downright evil. I doubt there is a single drop of good in that demon's heart.
A while ago, I saw a video of a guy reacting to a post about which out of the selection of characters is the best inner demon and he said Sukuna (if I remember correctly). His reasoning is why I so. Kurama was a choice, too, that I remember. And with Kurama, he got better and got along with Naruto. That's good and all (I don't hate it), but when I see the word "demon", I think of "vile, evil, embodiment of pain and anguish".
That's what Sukuna is. He is a "good demon" for the simple fact that he just is evil. He doesn't care to get along with Yuji and vice versa. It's what I love about their dynamic. They stand on far sides of a field, opposing the other without the need or want to find some common ground.
Mahito was great as someone who made Yuji question his morals and his part in the battle curses and humans. But Sukuna? Yeah, he's the source of Yuji's suffering since the start.
Sukuna is sadistic, immoral, selfish. Dude immediately wanted to paint the streets red and not with paint when he was reincarnated.
Folks call him "Fraudkuna", but no. He's not a fraud. Sukuna ain't stupid. He has intellect that he does use. He grasps onto things quickly. He witness, he learns and applies. He's not faking anything. A fraud is someone who fakes. Sukuna doesn't do that.
Yeah, Gojo put in work, of course he did. He wasn't titled "the strongest" for nothing. Sukuna even acknowledges that.
That's also another thing with Sukuna that interest me. He's evil, but at least he'll give you your props if you impressed him. Which honestly, I rather not be praised because it seems if you're someone if he acknowledges as strong, you either die by his hand or possessed. Except for Yuji, who he hates with every fiber in his body and does not respect.
But that's fine, because Yuji ain't looking for it. (Yeah, those two are my favorite two. Funny, isn't it?)
Also, bonus points, but I also love Sukuna's nails (when he has them painted and long) and pink hair (which he apparently had in his OG form). And the tattoos are nice.
I just...
Toji, Kenjaku, and Sukuna all have so much we know about them, yet still don't know much about them.
How did Sukuna become the King of Curses exactly? What is Kenjaku's true form? Toji's history with Megumi's and Tsumiki's moms? So many other questions.
They're all human, but not too human.
Overall, yeah, all three of them play/played well as antagonists for me.

recently saw a tiktok about toji n megumi…and good god. ppl in the comment section were willing to die in the trenches to convince others that toji had at no point sold megumi (which is so easily fact-checked it hurts) and that he was a great father. girl, we did not read or watch the same series. and mind you, this is not coming from anti-toji angle at all.
i don't understand glazing over the turmoil present in the text. it's what makes their father-son relationship so interesting and compelling. the tragedy of it all! how grief and trauma molded their relationship - or actually, lack thereof. and yet, even then, megumi was still toji's last thought as he was dying. the softness in his voice when he said "i'm glad" after coming to the conclusion that gojo had intervened in the toji-naobito agreement and had allowed megumi to stay a fushiguro!
and how delusional do you have to be to claim fushiguro toji is a good father?? bro??? toji loved megumi, sure. but his approach to his son, post his wife's passing, was hands-off: extreme edition. megumi himself says he hasn't seen his father in years and toji asks "who's that" in response to shiu asking about his son. all the "caretaking" choices he made for megumi (like arranging a future sale with the zenin, leaving him with his then partner, mamamiki) resulted in son's well-being and rearing being out of his hands. telling gojo that particular info but leaving it up to him what do with megumi's fate, is another wild example of his claim to absentee father of the century.
and i think it's easy to understand why. it's not out of malice, toji's treatment by his clan left him thinking that he was worthless and also, deeply unstable. all those traits resurfaced again during his grief. so, with an example of childrearing like that, zero positive influences in his own parenting (mamamiki isn't winning any mother of the year awards either. althought, idk if that would have changed anything) this was probably his way of trying to provide megumi w/ a better life by taking his presence out of the equation. the same happens when it comes to the sale. in his head, toji probably believes he is providing better odds for megumi by selling him back to their ancestral clan (even though, i'm sure toji knew he wouldn't be exempt from hardships - the zenin clan's still toxic even if you are an asset).
obviously, there here is also selfishness, lack of motivation, and a whole cocktail of other negative bullshit, in all of that. out of sight, out of mind (so out of mind he forgot to who the name megumi fucking pertained to. and, adding to the cherry on top, HE was the one who named his son). also, i cannot stress this enough,,,,he was going to financially benefit from SELLING his son. which is, and i cannot believe i have to say this so, bad! that, cancels every and any possible good (even if misguided) intention in leaving megumi in the zenin's care! he's a flawed fuck! he's another cog in the great old generational trauma of the zen'in clan! fushiguro toji is objectively not a god person or father! however that's part of what makes him, him. and as a consequence, what makes him such an interesting character. it's why their little father-son (unbeknownst to megumi) moment hits so hard. the baggage has to exist in order for that little moment to hold so much meaning.
in sum, i love all is well au’s as much as the next person, but why reduce such an interesting relationship, when discussing actual canon, to something with so little complexity? why viciously sanitize it? i want to see that energy in fics! in aus! but like. time and place ❤️

Moving on | Toji Fushiguro
Toji angst/possible happy ending? ||| WARNING ABUSE DEPICTION||
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The taste of blood always disgusted her, but for some reason she couldn't unclamp the inside of her cheek that she held hostage. Her nerves was running haywire and as she glanced down at her phone checking the time she internally cursed the man she love.
It was almost 7pm and he had promised he was going to be home before then to attend his son school play. This was Megumi's first elementary school play and he was the lead, she still remember the day when Megumi and her barged into the house to tell him the exiciting news. Toji, as always, was reluctant at first and his only reaction to them was a straight face saying he's not going due to something important coming up for his job. That night ended into an argument between the husband and wife, just might be the worse one yet.
She sighed as she grabbed her purse that was sitting on top of the kitchen table and called Megumi's name. The young child skipped from the living room filled with nerves and excitement "Is dad coming?" He asked sounding hopeful looking up at his mother, her heart shattered into a million pieces when she noticed how his eyes gleamed with anticipation. She sighed and only answered that his father got caught up at work and wouldn't be able to make it this time. She promised the boy who was know no longer smiling that he'll attend the next one. But as they were both leaving out the empty house they knew that was far from the truth.
~~~~~~[After the play]~~~~~~
It was now hitting 1am and Isami was blankly watching the Tv screen. Haven't blinked in 2 minutes her eyes were starting to water. But whether her eyes were watering due to the lack of moisture or due to her absentee husband was hard to decipher.
Megumi was fast asleep in his room, she let him have ice cream and candy after the play to cheer him up but of course that didn't work. He went straight to his room the moment they stepped in the house. Matter of fact the young boy barely even spoke to his mother on the way to the play and after. It broke her heart.
If she would've known how incompetent Toji would be in the emotional and physical department would she had married him? But how could she have known? He was never like this when they were together before Megumi came into this world. He was always present, attentive, gentle, and in his own way loving. Isami tried to mentally date back to the day where it all went wrong, the day she never expected he would hurt her
~~~~~~[Flashback 6 years ago]~~~~~~
"WHY IS THERE A FUCKING CONDOM IN YOUR BAG!?" The young pregnant woman questioned, her heart wasn't even beating straight as she was following the large unbothered man down the stairs to the kitchen. Usually she would take her time going down the stairs due to her 8 month belly making it hard for her to see her feet, but fury and hurt guided her blind spots as she followed behind Toji. She stared at him in disbelief as she watches him sigh and begin to make coffee. She felt like her throat was constricting but manage to speak
"Toji, do you hear me speaking to you?" She weakly said making him sigh in annoyance. He turned to face her "I do, but I really just rather not talk about this right now, I got a bad headache and you yelling just makes it worse" she was shocked by how indifferent he sounded about the situation. So was she supposed to just brush it under the rug? But what about how she felt? She looked back at the man who took one more glance at her and went to the fridge scanning what he can take with him to work.
She was burning holes at the back of his head, should she really let it go for now? Will they talk about it later? She never been in a situation like this before, she was only 22 while he was 28. He was her first everything literally, and sometimes it felt like he used that to his advantage, knowing she wasn't going to go anywhere......... and he was right. She felt the waterworks about to break the dam so she walked away from him letting them fall freely
~~~~~~[Present Day]~~~~~~
She felt a tear come out her eye but she quickly wiped it away. It's been a while since she last cried, she was numb to being hurt it seemed but after seeing how Megumi is starting to change its beginning to break her heart all over again.
As she stared at the tv screen she imagined a life where her and Megumi were living together free from the dark cloud and maybe later on being raised by a man that would love Megumi as his own. She began to tear up at the thought of that. She's been with Toji for 8 years, she's 28 now, and can't even imagine living without him or separating from him. She hated how weak and dependent she felt.
The front door opening breaks her from her thoughts and she turns her head to see her estranged husband walking toward her. She glanced at his hand and of course as always no ring. That caused her to mentally roll her eyes.
He came to her and kissed her on her forehead "how was the play?" He asked as he sat down next to her leaning back into the couch carefree as if he didn't just hurt Megumi and her again.
She felt annoyed "how was the play? You would know if you was there" she replied snippy. He sighed "I would've went Isami but I got caught up at work"
"you got caught up at work or was your dick the one that got caught up?" She accused folding her arms across her chest as she looked up at the man with hatred and hurt. He turned to face her annoyed that she would even say that
"You're still stuck on what happened 6 years ago? I told you it was a one time thing and I never did it again after, stop with the childish accusations, it's pissing me off" she could feel his anger rising by the second
"YOU NEVER TOLD ME ANYTHING!" She yelled at him in his face which was the wrong move because he grabbed her forearm pulling her extra close to him. He stared down at her with those green eyes filled with mix emotions
guilt,
anger,
annoyance,
hurt.
"Why do you always resort to yelling, our son is sleeping" she rolled her eyes at him ignoring the pain "how would you know he's asleep when YOURE NEVER HERE? IM MORE OF A FATHER TO HIM THAN YOU ARE!" Before she knew it she was harshly pushed to the ground and the sound of something cracking filled her ears. She whimpered in pain as she touched her wrist that failed to break her fall. She looked up at the man she didn't even know anymore that was towering over her. She couldn't even recognize him whether that was due to the tears clouding her eyes or the fact this man was no longer the Toji she knew.
The eyes that once looked down at her with love and passion now looked at her with the same two constant emotions that were at a constant battle with each other. Guilt and Anger. But, as always, anger ruled Toji's world. But still as Toji looked down at his wife he knew she was going to brush this under the rug like she always do and try to forget this happened to save the marriage.....to stay with him.
But he was tired of it. Tired of being in this marriage knowing he does nothing but hurt her and Megumi. He wasn't the best father and most definitely wasn't the best husband. He should've known he wasn't ready to settle down and have a family with her, his life as a bounty hunter was his priority and the moment she had told him she was pregnant he still don't know why he married her when he knew he wasn't ready. Even though he loved her so much that at that time marriage felt right but sometimes love just wasn't enough and It felt like he was wasting her years by not being what he knew he wasn't going to be able to be for her. He knew what he had to do since she wasn't going to do it no matter how much courage she tried to muster up. He had to rip the bandaid off for her and Megumi's sake
"Let's get a divorce"

Miniseries:
These works are posted on tumblr and AO3. They’re around or less than 10 chapters. Also organized by fandom.
Yuuji and the Tutor: Masterpost
You're a graduate student who tutors other students for a little extra money. Your student, Yuuji Itadori, constantly makes passes at you and as a professional you ignore them. Until one day... He looks a little too irresistible and you find out about the Demon hidden within him after rewarding him.
Tarot Toji: Part one
While being forced into an arranged marriage with Toji as part of a unification of clans, you learn that your soon to be husband actually has plans to escape and run away. When he tells you his plan, he asks if you want to come with him... So you do.
Reconciliation: Master post
How do you confess to Father Sukuna that you're having lustful thoughts... About them?
Night Out: MasterPost
Yuuji and you are both happily married with a two year old son and another on the way. Just because you're both married with kids doesn't mean you can't enjoy a Night Out, even one that's a little more taboo... Perhaps involving his older brother Sukuna.
The Kindergarten Teacher: MasterPost
You're an erotic fiction novelist and single mother to Megumi... Mostly single mother with absentee father Toji finally trying to fight for you. Only thing is, you've laid your eyes now on your son's young hot teacher, Yuuji Itadori.
The Other Woman: MasterPost
This is a series of oneshots across various fandoms that all share the same concept: You are the other woman.
TigerPrince: MasterPost
Yuuji and you were both once rebellious angry teens in one of Tokyo's many bosozoku gangs. You have since opened a bike shop where you help other young bosozoku girls choose their bike and help repair them. As a passion project, you're rebuilding a bike and scouring for a part that just so happens to be sold by someone with the username: TigerPrince.

One Shots
Cookies and Milk with a Yandere:
You reconnect with your childhood friend Itadori Yuji as both of you are home for the holidays. Only these aren’t so happy holidays, and the hallmark movie is a little darker than may appear.
CW: yandere, drugging, noncon, violence (to people other than reader or Yuji)
Fame at the Price of a Fortune:
You were a semi-successful actress who was dating someone who turned out to be a married man. The wife found out and you were blacklisted. Desperate times call for desperate measure, and you find yourself calling upon a demon named Toji to try to get your chance at fame, but it seems it might cost you a fortune.
CW: Dubcon, noncon creampie, squirting, literal demon fucking, belly bulge, cervix fucking, pussyjob
Nanami and the Baker: *contains manga spoilers*
You work at a bakery and everyday for lunch a tall blond man comes to buy the same exact sandwich.
Nanami's Secret Wife v1: *contains manga spoilers*
Nanami likes to keep his home life and work life separate, so of course his best friend Gojo knows nothing about him having a secret wife.
Nanami's Secret Wife v2: *contains manga spoilers*
Nanami likes to keep his home life and work life separate, so of course his best friend Gojo knows nothing about him having a secret wife. This version is much much fluffier than the one above.
Alabama Nanami:
Southern gentleman Nanami might not be as much of a southern gentleman as we thought when he finds you injured in the woods while out on his white horse.
CW: yandere, noncon, virginity loss, corruption, heavy manipulation

Head canons, Imagines, Drabbles:
