oh auditions
ramble time (warning: bad grammar)
so I had my audition today and I'm like trembling shaking throwing up (not really) and my sister goes in first and she takes a lil bit cause fair they're my sister. So then I go in RIGHT AFTER. And they compliment the fit and say I dressed for my character which is GREAT cause I was feeling OVERDRESSED. And so I sing my song and I have a SHIT TON of vibrato cause I'm NERVY and they're like "that was great thank! We'll be in touch!" And I'm like THANKS and I head out and we leave. But I DIDNT EXPECT THE VOLUME, so I'm using CHEST VOICE instead of HEAD VOICE LIKE I PRACTICED. And now I'm sitting here trembling shaking and my mom and sister are like "YOU SLAYED TF" and I'm like AHHHHH. Cast list comes out Tuesday, can't wait to see how that goes! Send all the thoughts and prayers!

Hey folks, I would love to get some traction on my buddies Indiegogo! Trek Shorts is a series of short Star Trek fan films produced by Sam over at Power 543 Fan Films: https://www.youtube.com/user/SGUDistantHope
A bunch of Trek Shorts are already out with many more on the way (some featuring yours truly :3), so do go and take a look at the channel and consider supporting and sharing the campaign if you like what you see!
You wouldn't believe how teeny tiny the team behind these wonderful films is, and they really need your support to keep up the amazing work! Filmmaking is an expensive process, and you can only begin to imagine the render times on this number of space shots...
Not only will you be supporting a super fun, creative collection of shorts by fans, for fans, but you can get some really neat perks through the indiegogo!
Please share and consider supporting however you can, it would be so very appreciated :3

"writers deserve attention more than actors" literally only 2% of actors can pay the bills with acting. For every megastar on screen there are a dozen other people in the shot who are SAG. Acting gets so glamorized but there are SO MANY people in SAG who NEED residuals to live on. Background Party Girl #4 needs her check too!!!! There are people who play recurring characters on syndicated shows who cant afford health insurance!!! Ke Huy Quan gave an oscar winning performance and LOST HIS HEALTH INSURANCE the next year.

i dont know about any other schools, but in my school if you ask anyone after a production if there sad tje play is over, they will 98% of the time say no. like dont get me wrong theres that pit of sadness that stays for a couple days, and the production was so much fun the cast is absolutely lovely but also holy fuck i never want to do that again(and yes i will infact do that again)
you learn of the audition the day off and havw a day to memorize a monologue, for a few months your giving up half of every week to rehearsal, lines are never memorized on time, theres always that one scene that everyone has trouble on and is just shit, tech week, the poor tech never have enough time to learn cues, the poor band durring musicals dont get an actual pit and have to squeeze in a small nook back stage, something probably went wrong with coustumes, and then someone shows up late to call time or there sick, you dont have all the set ready, not everyone is fully off book, the theater is to fucking hot because for some reason they wont to fix our air conditioning, the show never starts on time, you didn't have time to eat dinner, the green room is to small and a mess, and theres way to much shit backstage
so no bestie, i am not sad, i am overjoyed i dont have to keep doing that, and yes bestie yes i will do that again the earliest chance i get because holy fuck i hate theater but its litterly the best thing ever

AU where Leo is trapped in the Prison Dimension for months instead of minutes and the only way he gets by with his sanity intact is through recording himself talking to his wrist comm.
When they finally manage to get Leo back and make him rest up to heal, Donnie can’t help but listen to the recordings left behind.
He’s not sure what exactly he’s expecting, only that his subconscious is screaming at him that it has to be heartbreaking, that it has to be torturous.
Instead, what Donnie is subject to is a full thousand hours’ worth of Jupiter Jim and Lou Jitsu crossover fanfiction. More than one part in the series. Spanning well over a million words.
(The worst part is that it’s actually good.)
