crawling up the walls over zuko kyosho makeup concept uGH
Tumblr media
Bit of a sneak peek!!!
In this AU, Zuko is sort of an unofficial warrior. He wears face paint, but the style is mixed with that of a river spirit from home. He has a headband engraved with the character for fire. He fights, sometimes with the fans, sometimes with the niuweidao. Armor? Sure, but does it come in black and red?
There's definitely some Kyoshi influence in his life, but he's still Zuko. And that's something I love about him.

What if king Henrik managed to steal Malleus's egg after defeating Meleanor?
The main point is that the egg WOULDN'T hatch because it needs love (and even in canon it took a couple of centuries to hatch, despite the presence of Lillia and Maleficia).
So after a few tries, he discards his plans and keeps the egg as a trophy. Years pass and a five year-old Silver finds the trophy room while playing. He stumbles into the pedestal holding the egg, but manages to save it before it falls.
The child then senses a tiny heartbeat, and realizes there is a baby inside the egg!
The egg hatches immediately. Baby Silver loved it at once (the way he did once upon a dream).
And that's how we get a Dragon Prince journey (sorta).
After the dragon hatched, Silver went to talk with his animal friends to see if they could help (he loves his parents, but he couldn't just tell them he went to the trophy room to play, some instinct of his was also telling him they couldn't be trusted).
He left the little dragon under the care of a mother bear and went to the library to see if he could find anything. He came across a few old books from before the Silver Owls that described the Draconias (the little prince was so excited! His dragon friend could become a friend friend! He didn't have any friends besides the animals! And the dragon was even a fellow prince!)
But first things first! His dragon friend needed to meet his actual family, they were probably worried sick! So he grabbed a few maps, marked out the closest fae castle, told his parents he would go play with the animals in the woods and left.
The trek was very long and dangerous, but the entire forest was on his side. Baby Silver kept talking to Malleus, explaining life as a prince, introducing his animal friends, and trying to find out if he liked to eat berries.
They avoided war-stricken areas and managed to reach fae territory. And that's when things took a turn for the worse.
Henrik and the Silver Owls found them. Apparently, the egg was missing and a search party was assembled to follow its magical traces. Baby Silver didn't know that, and went to greet his uncle, saying that he was helping out a friend find his family!!
Henrik looked at his nephew, then at the dragon, and went for the kill, literally. The kid couldn't even defend himself, as his uncle cut him down with a simple strike (dawn knight was at home).
And that's when baby Malleus's magic blew up.
A snowstorm of cataclysmic proportions struck, complete with fire tornados and lightning. At the center of it all stood two children, the tiny Silver that was bleeding out, and Malleus, who had taken a human form and was trying to close the wound (he changed forms because he was scared and emulated the only thing he could think of as strong and protection, and that thing was five year-old Silver). Meanwhile, all of the animals formed a protective circle around them.
Luckily, reinforcements soon arrived. Both Lillia and Maleficia came (that storm could only be a Draconia's doing, they would NOT lose the egg again). They made quick work of the rest of the Silver Owls before rushing to Malleus's aid.
The animals let the faes though, as if they knew the dragon had finally found his kin. But Malleus wouldn't let go of Silver, even when the kid started telling him "Look, we found your family!! You're safe!", smiling despite the pain and looming death.
With the use of "Far Cry Cradle", Lillia quickly explained the situation, and the faes made the decision to save the human. They had a much too big debt with this child, who was so innocent it hurt.
They were also keeping the human. If that despicable man was his UNCLE, then no way in hell were the rulers of Briar Valley going to give the child back to his family. It would be a disgrace to the Draconia family.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, there a a few ways this AU could go.
1. The faes weren't able to save Silver. They create a monument in his honor and he becomes the only human they respect. Relations with the Silver Owls may improve now that Henrik is dead, if they can convince Dawn Knight his son died to save Malleus.
2. The faes save Silver, who lives in Briar Valley until the end of his mortal lifespan, acting as Malleus's big brother and knight. The Silver Owls are angry, but eventually come to an agreement once they realize there was no mind control involved.
3. The faes manage to save Silver, but the wounds were so grave that he had to stay in magic stasis for a few hundred years. Receiving the BOTW Shrine of Ressurection treatment. Due to the nature of the magic, he lost his memories, got silver hair and became sleepy. He later wakes up and becomes the Silver we all know and love. Malleus still sees him as the older brother, but thinks that now it's his turn to protect the human!
Hey, I just came across your AT swap au drawings, with kid Simon and the Ice Prince. I'm not sure how long ago you made those drawings or if you're still into AT, but I wanted to say that I really loved what you wrote and drew! Your take on the swapped characters seems really sweet and I'm already daydreaming about Ice Prince adopting-by-force Simon, only to get Gunter as well as part of the package deal. It seems really fun and I'm glad I found your post.
thanks for the kind words!! it doesn't feel that long ago since i drew them! in October...(it is now almost December where does the time go alas) I'm still into adventure time but i just haven't finished watching the series bcus i don't want to have no more adventure time to watch DDD: but alas all good things must come to an end so i should probably bite the bullet sometime.
I'm so glad you've enjoyed my au drawings and i do plan on drawing more. but life has been busy and I've been very tired lately )): but they have not left my mind i assure you, ice prince, simon and gunter still live rent free in my head lol
Urzai adopts the Gaang AU - The Headband
@urzaiweekblog
Day 3: Unplanned
Day 6: Dance
Day 7: Tradition
Ozai couldn’t believe he let the children talk him and Ursa into this. Aang attending a Fire Nation school was a bad enough idea. Now this?! Ozai swore he was going to go grey early with as many stressed grey hairs the young Avatar has given him.
“This is such a terrible idea.”
“Agreed. But you know they were going to go behind our back and do it anyway.” Ursa said. “At least this way we can keep an eye on them.”
Ozai grunted. He already caught Azula and Toph trying to spike the punch with cactus juice they got from Agni knows where. But judging from the slightly dazed looks and wobbly swaying, they managed to sneak some in after all.
“Besides,” Ursa continued. “Look at how much fun they’re having.”
Ozai hummed. Aang was showing off some “traditional” Fire Nation dance moves to the students as Toph and Azula laughed from the side while passing back and forth a cup. Katara even managed to cox Zuko onto the dancefloor. Ozai smiled to himself. It has been a while since he’d seen them this happy especially after Ba Sing Se fell.
Ursa grinned. “Careful Ozai. I have you know dancing is illegal in the Fire Nation.”
Ozai stilled. “The music is livelier than I expected.”
“Of course. Wouldn’t want to ruin your pristine reputation.”
Ozai smirked and held out his hand. “Considered it ruined, my dear.”
Ursa accepted with an amused expression. “You know how to dance?”
Ozai led her to the dancefloor. “Can’t be much different from sparing.”
“Well then.” Ursa pulled him close. “I’ll lead.”
They circle each other in slow careful steps like the beginning of a duel before dissolving into sharp twists and turns; the natural synergy was similar to covering each other in battle. Aang led the others into some sort of circle dance around them, whooping and cheering.
The feeling was incredible. Exciting. Fun.
It was actually… fun.
“WHAT’S GOING ON HERE?!”
The music stopped abruptly. At the entrance of the cave was the headmaster and a couple of Fire Nation soldiers.
“Where is the student with the headband? Bring him to me now!”
“Ash.” Ozai and Ursa both swore under their breaths.
It was fine though. They’ve planned for this. While the students distracted the headmaster and soldiers with their own headbands, the rest of Team Avatar slipped through the escaped tunnels. They had to be quick. The soldiers won’t hesitate to arrest everyone here by force if needed. Ozai glanced around to make sure everyone got out. He suddenly had formed a deep pit in his stomach.
“Wait.” Ursa whispered alarmed, echoing Ozai’s thoughts. “Where’s-“
“What’s all this now?” A stern looking man with a bushy beard demanded.
The soldiers straighten up immediately. “Captain Wang Fire! We-“
“I don’t want to hear it! You two are needed at the Eastern Gate now. There are some unauthorized benders lurking by there.” He looked directly at them. “You all should leave. Now!”
“That’s where he’s been this whole-“
Ursa shushed him as she led him out. Ozai sighed.
They were all so grounded.
Okay, but like...what if in "Queen of Hearts," Arthur followed through on his threat before Morgana did her sorcery frame-up, and he and Gwen just dipped (with Merlin, obviously)? Like, he leaves an Official Statement of Resignation on his desk with his signet ring, renouncing his claim to the throne and all that? The three of them are halfway to Essetir before anyone notices they're gone.
And on the way, they just happen to chance across some smugglers? Logic dictates that Tristan and Isolde started their hustle during Uther's reign for them to be as good as they are in S4 when Arthur had only been king a few months tops. They're still initially suspicious, ofc, but they warm up a lot faster considering the situation, and they're always down with someone who says "fuck the king" with their whole chest. The trio takes up with them bc they're always on the move and make a living on not being found, which is exactly what they need rn because Uther will be looking for them.
But if they want to stay, they gotta contribute. House rules.
Now, insofar, Tristan and Isolde are strictly transport. They're more or less fences. They don't do the actual theft part. But the trio can. Arthur can blend right in with the rich people they rip off, and he's bougie enough to pick out the Good Shit and pass on the knockoffs. Merlin and Gwen can blend right in with the servants to case the joint and swipe the goods, not to mention Gwen's knowledge of metalworking means being able to dismantle jewelry pieces without damaging them and making them untraceable, and Merlin can cover their tracks with magic (he'd have told them after they left) and create distractions as needed.
Arthur does have a small crisis when he realises he makes a better grifter than a prince, but then it's just really funny. He is now the Once and Future King of Thieves. Tristan and Isolde are the envy of the black market scene bc of their "secret weapons."
Bonus points if this is how they meet the rest of the squad bc legit the only knight that isn't a confirmed criminal is Percival, but he's also besties with Lancelot, so it's implied he might be.
Knights of the Criminal Enterprise.
you could have just kissed me on the spot you know
I’ve had the stupidest omegaverse idea and it’s bringing me so much joy to write fictional inheritance law as it applies to the extended Cinderella family in my incredibly silly omegaverse universe. It’s also providing the precedent that I needed to establish in order to make some of my convoluted political marriage ideas work, so I am feeling very accomplished in my daydream universe today
#please somebody talk to me about my convoluted political marriage ideas#I am Desperate To Talk#my fiance is wonderful as a human but he doesn’t like omegaverse and therefore is not a useful sounding board here#I have so many thoughts about inheritance law as written by people who are trying to legitimize themselves and their kingdoms only#while fully not thinking about the possibility of their families not working out to be perfect and heteronormative#like what’re you going to do if you’ve written in that only men can inherit??#sure you added a clause that your daughter can many a nobleman and he can rule by her side as a team situation#and her children will be considered legit for inheritance purposes#but what if your daughter can’t produce children with this man???#what if you’ve written specific inheritance clauses into your law because you are soooo worried about royal bloodlines??#what if there’s no eligible royal men who could help get you out of this situation??#anyway this is why there’s adoption and surrogacy laws regarding inheritance that are specific to Charmingsburg#which is Cinderella’s kingdom in my heart#Charmingdale is where Snow White lives but that’s actually just the city not the kingdom#I have a lot of thoughts that aren’t just hehe omegaverse sexy for this AU#like the population of the isle has way more male omegas and female alphas than Auradon does#in part because they’re less common in the general population and considered weird and deviant on some level#which means that they’re sort of pushed aside for being inconvenient and not fitting into the Prince/Princess dichotomy#and being pushed aside means that more of them are likely to align with villains#and therefore get sent to the isle#also talk to me about my incredibly useless chart of alpha/beta/omega subtypes#I have a whole fake scientific history about how they were established…..
it's funny because most people who write self-insert fics don't like that it's called SI and actually object to the name but we just kinda all adopted it to spite the snobs who think it's only about writing a mary sue who is loved by all the characters and has no flaws at all. the name was reclaimed very reluctantly but here we are
Rayla knows she’s an elf, of course; she always knows she’s an elf.
There’s too many physical differences to shy away from—the horns, the hair, the restlessness that comes with every full moon cycle—even if Soren, as big brothers are prone to do, tries to convince her when she’s four that she lost both her pinky fingers in a cooking accident (it doesn’t work, and she jabs both fingers in his eyes as payback when she’s fed up with it, as little sisters are prone to do).
Claudia tells her stories as they braid each other’s hair, of thieving Skywing elves, tumultuous Tidebound elves, and bloodthirsty Moonshadow elves. Claudia hugs her sister tight, round the middle from behind. “Thank goodness we saved you!”
It’s the mantra Rayla gets used to, those first four years at the castle, whenever she’s given strange look, or a new servant stops in fright of her, or a visiting diplomat reacts poorly.
“She’s an elf—” comes the mind-numbing exclamation.
And then her family—usually her brother or sister, or sometimes her father—leaping to her defense. Mother clasps her shoulder comfortingly with one hand. “She’s a good elf, and our ward—part of the royal court.”
Even Captain Amaya lightens up on her before she leaves to lead the Standing Battalion, although Rayla always needs an interpreter to translate. “Better a Moonshadow elf than a Sunfire elf,” and it feels like approval.
Rayla asks just once where she comes from, her parents exchanging a glance before Mother answers, “A Moonshadow glade, all on your own. Your father searched, but he couldn’t find...”
Viren pats her on the head and draws her into his lap next to where Claudia is cocooned in one arm, Soren playing with wooden figurines on the rug, having earned himself five more minutes before he has to take his yucky medicine. “I searched far and wide,” Viren tells her, pale eyes smooth like sea glass in the firelight. “But all I found was you, little Moonlight, and I’m very glad.”
The new crownguard Captain, Amaya’s older sister Sarai, is much nicer and doesn’t rat them out when she spies Rayla and Soren and Claudia sneaking into the kitchens after hours. She’s fantastic with a spear, far flashier than Amaya’s shield, and Rayla and Soren soon spend hours whacking each other with wooden training swords in the courtyard while Claudia complains, and Sarai’s son, younger by a year, sits quietly and draws. He pushes his hair out of his eyes a lot and Rayla thinks Captain Sarai should give him a haircut, the way Dad does with her—she wonders if Sarai captures Callum’s cut locks in a jar the same way Viren does for her, Claudia, and Soren.
Having her hair collected makes her feel a little strange (a little more different), but it’s all of them, so not that strange.
“I’ll be head crownguard someday,” Soren crows, tossing his sword from side to side. He may be the oldest at eight, but he’s a dunderhead, as Rayla hefts hers up.
“Not if I am!”
But they’ll have years before that happens, Claudia scowling when they head back in for the night. “Did you have to fight all day?” she harrumphs. “Mom and Dad already—”
Rayla, always alert at night, thinks of hearing Claudia tiptoe past her room to crawl into Soren’s bedroom, or hers, depending on how loudly Mom and Dad are fighting.
Soren smiles, wheezing, and Rayla thinks maybe they have stayed out too late. Soren has been sick since winter and it’s nearly summer, and Dad keeps saying he’ll get better, but... he hasn’t. Even if Claudia always says he’s looking cheery, Rayla can see the way her brother’s complexion is changing to match her very pale one more every day, his blond hair losing its sheen.
Then, one day in autumn, Mom says Soren has to rest, a steely glint in her eyes, her blond hair braided back. She’s angry, not in a you need to eat your vegetables way (mushy peas are an abomination), or even in the way she and Dad will get into it sometimes in front of them, tossing barbs back and forth before they remember themselves. Rayla’s never seen anger like this before.
She sneaks into Claudia’s room when Soren still isn’t at dinner, and neither is Dad. “What do you think?” she asks, mind whirring with possibilities. One of them is that something bad has happened to Soren, but Rayla won’t entertain that thought. He’s going to be fine, unless—
“I don’t think anything,” Claudia says stubbornly, burying her face in her pillow, dark hair fanning out across white linen. Then, realizing she’s called herself stupid and Rayla almost wants to smirk in spite of it all, Claudia course-corrects. “I mean I do think, but not about this—Soren is fine. Dad is fine. They’re just... busy.”
She sounds close to tears, but clearly doesn’t want to be around anyone, so Rayla slips out and makes her own way down the dark castle hallways. She evades Sarai on her patrols by hiding behind a tapestry and runs into her father, halfway on route to his study.
“Rayla,” he says when she emerges out of the shadows, a hand on his chest. His expression is hard. “You startled me.”
Sorry rests on the tip of her tongue, but then he steps into a shaft of moonlight—and her dad is not her dad, his visage cracked and a washed out grey, dark forks of purple lightning scattered over his skin. But Rayla doesn’t recoil, too used to being on a receiving end, and instead holds his gaze. She won’t be afraid. Fear is weakness.
Slowly, Viren’s gaze softens, before she asks, “Is Soren okay?”
Viren bends down on one knee, placing his grey hands on her shoulders, his eyes black and rimmed with purple. It makes her think of the Moonshadow form Claudia has mentioned from her books and if they would match, if Rayla was able to do it one day. “Yes, Moonlight,” he says, voice hoarse. “Your brother is perfectly fine.”
He and Mother’s marriage is not, and once Soren is back on his feet—boisterous and bright and more swaggering than ever (but Rayla will let him have this, cheeks flushed and full of life)—Lissa leaves around three months later. Their parents announce the divorce quietly, even if Claudia sobs loudly, clutching both of their legs, and Soren looks a little shell shocked.
Rayla cries and holds onto her, too, but Lissa combs her fingers through her hair. “It’s alright little Moonberry,” she soothes, as Soren chooses to stay with Dad, and Claudia trembles. Lissa gives Viren a look, as she draws Claudia into her arms as well. “You’ll be alright here, Rayla,” she says, almost angry again. “Dad will do anything to protect his children. All of his children.”
Rayla just nods, not understanding, and Viren spends the day shut up in his office once Lissa is gone, Harrow overseeing the three of them at dinner. The king tells bad jokes that make Rayla snort berry juice out of her nose because they’re so terrible.
She can’t sleep that night, either, and locates her father in the library by the armchairs, the mage’s words echoing in her head.
She’s going back to Del Bar, where her family is from, echoes in Rayla’s head as she climbs into Viren’s lap. “Dad?” she says and he hums, looking at her, perturbed and patient as she waits for her to speak again. “Will I have to go back to where my family is from, too?”
“No,” Viren says quickly, tucking her hair back behind pointed ears. He regards her, thinking, although she can’t tell what. “No, you’re much too precious, Rayla. You are an elf, but you are one of us. We will never let you slip away.”
In the moment, it’s a promise that settles her.
(Years later, it will feel like a threat.)
akechi was dead. he died. maruki was defeated and he was back to being dead in their world.
keywords: their world.
the metaverse was not done with akechi goro just yet. he was spat out in another world, maybe a few years younger than he would've liked to be. he was given a supposedly different identity which he thought was bullshit.
his name was akechi goro and he was put into the foster system after his mother killed herself and his father couldn't be found. with no other family members being found, he was put into the system. he was currently being fostered by a less than ideal couple.
see, bullshit. it was essentially the same life he had before except no metaverse.
that was until he found a strange file on his phone. 'Untitled' it was called. normally, he could contain his curiosity. normally. the sound of shattering glass was all he heard before his vision was blinded.
he was transported into the interior of what looked like a gothic mansion. it was eerily quiet. his footsteps echoed across the halls. the mansion was devoid of people yet he wondered if anyone else was wandering the halls as well. his question was answered soon enough.
one of the door opened and out came... hastune miku? she immediately caught sight of him and lit up. she picked him up in a hug which he tried to escape but alas, no one cane escape hatsune miku. she brought him inside the room where kamui gakupo was reading over sheet music.
as she set him down, he could examine the two vocaloids better. for some reason they were both wearing visual kei clothing and their looks were changed to fit into the style. it fit them well but he couldn't help but be curious as to why.
hatsune miku explained what this world was. she said it was a SEKAI, a world created by his feelings and his feelings alone. usually, they are created by more than one person but ones made by a single person do happen on occasion. kamui gakupo chimed in to say that he would think it's a dream after leaving the SEKAI for the first time. apparently it was their job to help him find his true feeling.
he wanted to refuse, he wanted to so fucking bad, but he couldn't. why did he feel like he could trust them?
he was sent back before he could ponder further. true to kamui gakupo's words, he thought the whole thing was a dream.
he would not visit again until after a few weeks, where he was picked up from his old foster parent's home to the new ones, a family known as the tenma's. he'd visit SEKAI regularly after that.
