SO I just finished binging all of Romantic Killer bc it came up in my recommended. And oh my god I loved it so much;;

There’s definitely mixed reviews about it WHICH IS FAIR bc the premise is about a girl named Anzu who isn’t interested in romantic relationships but she then gets pushed into typical dating sim situations with Really Cute Boys in an effort to like. Force her into a relationship. And obv this kinda comes off as arophobic. But the fact that she so stubbornly refuses to partake and tries so hard to veer away from those situations makes it so fucking funny, especially when she rejects the boys with faces like this

And it turns out it’s really just a show about found family and overcoming trauma and developing healthy friendships with people and UGH. UGHHH it’s so good.

I actually adore Riri lmao they’re SUCH a little shit and I very much enjoy insanely chaotic characters like that. And we start off thinking okay wow this person’s kind of an asshole for forcing a girl to get a boyfriend by taking away her cat, her favorite hobby and her favorite snack, but then we find out OH, they’re just a cog in a corporate machine and they don’t really have much of a choice about it. And we slowly see Riri actually gain true affection for Anzu, and see how much they come to care about her as a person rather than just as a test subject, to the point of them actually breaking the rules of their contract just to make sure she’s safe. AND NOT JUST HER. They make sure the people she’s associated with are safe too, even if it risks them getting in Big Trouble with their boss. AND the fact that they canonically go by they/them pronouns but can ALSO transform into a boy or a girl depending on their preference, and they playfully flirt with Anzu in both forms?? It’s so good. Also thinking about the effort that Anzu goes through to make sure Riri gets to stick around;; like even tho she’d never admit it. She’s come to care for them too in some very strange way lol

And Junta;; the fact that Anzu is actually so concerned about him possibly being brainwashed into the position of childhood friend? Like she doesn’t immediately push him away or shut him down, she actually cares about him as a person and wants him to find happiness and wants to get him out of the situation she thinks he’s in. But then she finds out oh wait he actually IS a childhood friend. And he’s such a good boy. I love love LOVE how they handle the love triangle aspect in this, because obviously yes there’s a bit of jealousy, but not enough for things to get petty between him and Kazuki. They actually treat each other with respect and regard each other as friends and are kinda rooting for the other in their own way. Kind of “may the best man win” sort of thing. There���s no toxicity, there’s no classic “fighting over the female love interest” trope, they actually genuinely like each other after a bit of awkwardness enough to feel comfortable with living together and living with Anzu. They’re SO fucking sweet god dammit //shakes fists

(Honestly tho I really wish we got more episodes focused on Junta. Bc he really seemed like more of a background character and made the whole “love triangle” aspect not feel as prominent. Which is fine I guess?? But I felt so bad for him lmao)

And Kazuki 😭 My beloved. My poor sweet boy who deserves the world and everything in it. Just the build up. The subtle hints of his trauma that pop up every now and then. And when it all comes together you’re like oh!! Ohhh. THAT’S why he acts so aloof and cold all the time. THAT’S why he doesn’t like being the center of female attention. THAT’S why he gets distressed at things that, at first, seem so insignificant. THAT’S why he got attached to Anzu so quickly. And I love the way they handle his trauma, how they don’t make it seem any less important or alarming just because he’s a guy. And how Anzu’s there for him through everything 🤧 How she’s the person to pull him out of the darkness, how she stands up for him time and time again, how she just KNOWS when he’s uncomfortable and steps in to protect him. She ends up caring about him so much despite how they were set up to encounter initially. And he cares about her so much too. And I just 🥺 I care them

Also the fact how everyone came to help Kazuki when they found out what was going on. No judgement, no “you’re making this up”, no “isn’t this your fault to begin with?” They all just step in without even hesitating and support him through his trauma and immediately go “Okay we’ve got a problem so here’s our gameplan.” SEE. IT’S REALLY ABOUT THE FOUND FAMILY,

And one of my favorite things. Riri 🤝 Hijiri using their influence and power to protect both Anzu and Kazuki despite the risks to their reputation and social standing

OH AND I wanted to mention. I love that all of the classic romantic tropes i.e. something happening to your cute neighbor’s apartment so that they’re forced to live with you while it gets sorted out--those are generally really cheesy and make huge plot holes and don’t make ANY sense in the narrative. But that’s the thing about RK, they make it funny, yeah your cute boy neighbor’s apartment flooded bc we need him to come live with you. We did it with magic. Yes your childhood friend is living with you now bc we had a weirdo break into your apartment--with magic. So now he feels like he needs to stay with you and protect you. Yes you got hit by a car with a really rich boy inside and now he’s interested in you. We also did this with magic. Everything that would be regarded as a “coincidence” and is a badly written plot point just to push two characters together is actually explained through the hilarious concept of magic and I LOVE that it’s so fucking funny

Honestly this show is really up to interpretation too which I like a lot? Some people think hey yeah, maybe Anzu will end up with someone. Others say you know what the message here is that friendship is the most important thing and sometimes platonic relationships are better than romantic ones. The ending is pretty ambiguous so it could really go in any direction.

Anyway I have so much more to say but. Just watch Romantic Killer it’s really good thanks bye

This was sorta just for fun while I do school and what not! AU idea where Henry and William are BOTH evil and work together!

Now lets get into ref sheets! (There will be a page break after and all lore/info about the au will be down there!)

OK SO!!! The au def is similar to canon a lot and so

The MAJOR plot changes would be:

-Will and Henry BOTH get springlocked

•this fucks over Cassidy and CC being in Fredbear already though, so to solve this issue Cassidy, CC, and Charlie, will all share the puppet.

-Henry now occupies Fredbear instead, and so we now get Springtrap and Beartrap.

-William does NOT have time for the wife murder subplot, so Mrs. Afton (Clara) gets to live fully, she replaces Henry now. Diving into the duo’s blueprints and creations so she can one day stop them. She works with Michael.

-Henry’s wife is ALIVE! Her name is Dorothy and she returns to Hurricane after receiving a call from Clara. She also becomes a Henry replacement.

-Because of Clara and Dorothy’s new role, the pizza sim speach is now WAY more female rage style. This is the wrath of scorn mothers. UCN will be 100000x worse.

-Oh and no disks- William tries to push them but Henry 100% shuts them down and thinks theyre dumb.

-So fnaf 4 is JUST cc’s dying nightmare and eventually michael DOES get gas drugged and sees the nightmares but thats NOT fnaf 4 thats just a bad trip!

-Also, with William not being able to run rampant with random robot murder (Henry keeps him in check) we DO see the base finale in pizza sim.

-When we get into help wanted, ar, security breach, and ruin that follows a SECOND plot line fully separate from the first, where we see a surge of copy-cat killers (this is where we get characters like Vanessa and Jeremy, and Gregory will also be a part of this, being the main villain in Ruin now bc the Mimic was never made)

-William and Henry are a good team here, mutual bond and gain.

-William is far more explosive and emotional, his drive coming from CC’s death sorta setting off a domino effect of underlying mental health issues. He just kinda loses it. This team gives him the delusion that he may one day see CC again.

-Henry is in it bc hes a capitalist. And hey, turns out unlike electricity, theres NO remnant bill. So making all his robots run on human souls is cheaper! He doesnt really care much about charlie after like 3 months of her being dead. He knows it was William. He doesn’t care.

GENETICS?!

yeah theres genetics-

not gonna draw out the punnet squares but the colors of the characters ARE genetic traits!

Henry’s grey is a rare recessive trait. So it was EXTREMELY unlikely to pass onto Charlie. Which it didnt.

Dorothy’s green is a common dominant trait, Charlie ended up green like her!

William and Clara are BOTH purples. William is a more blue-purple, Clara is a more red-purple (commonly mistaken for pink!)

Both purples are dominant traits, so it is a 50/50 with their offspring to produce a blue-purple or red-purple.

Michael and Elizabeth both ended up red-purple!

Michael is VERY red-purple, very much almost mistaken for pink like his mom.

Elizabeth is closer to true purple than michael, but still red-purple!

CC is the only afton child to end up blue-purple! If he hadnt died he wouldve ended up being Williams favorite child!

The Sims 4 SVSSS edition

Let’s start with our characters shall we?

First up is Shen Yuan. (Modern edition) SY is a young adult with the computer geek aspiration. His traits are geek, lazy, and snob. He likes programming, painting, video gaming, gardening, and writing. His job is a video game live-streamer. At this point in the game he’s probably the most normal Sim I have.

Living with him is Luo Binghe (I originally had them as roommates). Luo Binghe is also a young adult with the soulmate aspiration. His traits are Neat, Romantic, and Jealous. He likes cooking, fitness, painting, annoying Airplane Bro, handiness, and baking.

Luo Binghe is currently in the acting career because I want him to be famous and meet other famous people (more on that storyline later), and because it requires him to be talented in a number of skills.

Other Sims I have made include Mobei-Jun, Shang Qinghua, Little Palace Mistress, Ning YingYing, Sha Hualing, Liu Qingge, and Liu Mingyan.

Shang Qinghua and Liu Mingyan are writers

Sha Hualing is a fashion designer (don’t ask)

Palace Mistress is also an actress

NYY is a gardener

Mobei-Jun is a business owner

Liu Qingge is a professional athlete

Shen Yuan is currently best friends with Shang Qinghua and is dating Binghe.

So bc SQH and SY are besties, SQH has a habit of just showing up out of nowhere to bug SY.

As some point they had a hamster also named Shang Qinghua who loved biting SY but the game wouldn’t let me feed it and it died.

SY and LBH kissed twice and went on a date but weren’t actually boyfriends until like 3 Sim days later

SY tends to leave plates everywhere but LBH always cleans them up without getting upset

When I first made Airplane bro, I put him in the shittiest looking house possible and LBH immediately showed up at his door to harass him.

Mobei-Jun was the fourth one made and he’s kinda quiet. I think he does go bug SQH every now and then

I’ve been getting SY to talk up MBJ to SQH in the hopes that they start dating

Btw SQH is essentially living in a tiny little hut and Mobei-Jun is living in a mansion

Because of his traits and also now officially dating SY, LBH is in a constant state of either flirty or jealous

The first time SY and LQG met, Liu Qingge was sleeping on a park bench and Shen Yuan was strolling through town.

The next day LQG invited him to a cafe, and SY brought LBH along with him. Binghe immediately got tense from being jealous over SY talking to LQG

Note: He has never gotten jealous over Mbj and SQH

All of them went to a festival in the middle of winter and MBJ was walking around without a shirt on. It’s in character but at the same time he was freezing to death.

Somehow Mobei Jun and Binghe have a small love meter and I have no fucking clue how that happened, they’ve talked maybe twice.

Why is accidentally getting the demon dumbasses together easier than purposely getting Moshang together?

So everytime I want Binghe to talk to SY, there’s an option to talk about marriage.

I think I’ll have them get married once I’ve made all of the characters.

Edit: So at some point, Shen Yuan gained a fear of death, which is ironic given how many times he’s died so far.

Gene and Brinker, good sir?

what made you ship it?

reading the book lol. ok so i feel like there's a lot of context i need to explain for this beyond just the book's subtext bc there's a bit of personal lore here. before teaching us the book, my middle school english teacher introduced each of the central four characters with this powerpoint with a slide on each one, and the way she described them like archetypically and physically made it sound almost like (to MY middle school brain) a dating sim, in which gene was the main character. like the blurb already sounds very romance novelesque so jdkshfkh. ig it wasn't too big a leap. so we already have a baseline there.

i also think that in the book brinker and gene are a secondary and competing rivarly/friendship to gene and finny's rivarly/friendship, and i think that's where the tension between brinker and gene and brinker and finny comes from. in fact this is kind of just text, like brinker and finny i think are pretty explicitly competing for gene's attention. i'm pretty sure there are some like old asp posts from the earlier 2010s era of the fandom where people are like "brinker and gene/finny have such ex energy", but iirc it was more often finny? like i'm definitely not the only person to see this Thing brinker has going on with gene, but at the time i'm p sure brinkerfinny was the more widespread take. anyway. brinker pursues gene so relentlessly both as an antagonist and as a guy who just Needs to be doing things with him, Needs to be occupying his time and attention. and yet they maintain this weird friendship/understanding throughout. to me this was most pronounced with the whole enlistment thing, and that dynamic where gene had to choose between finny and brinker for the enlistment/not enlistment??? it just gave very love triangle energy. the intensity with which brinker is fixated on gene is like. it gives repressed queer guy with problems. it's beyond wanting to antagonize him, he just is constantly coming up with excuses to be around him and to orient his focus around the pursuit of this one guy. his need to be morally superior to the object of his pursuit feels very queercoded to me. it's a very funny contrast to other parts of the book where he and gene are seemingly chill and normal friends? boy has issues

2. what are your favorite things about the ship?

HOOOOOO okay i have a long answer for this because it has to do with how i accidentally made myself insane about them. so i have this really long winded headcanon-turned-sequel fic in my Brain and Mind about gene and brinker moving in together after the war for kind of money reasons and kind of personal reasons. gene has been depression camping in finny's family's attic for a long undefined amount of time, and brinker is like hey you need to get the fuck out of there come live with me idiot. cue several years later and this is where the fic starts. i usually have it start at the time that gene would've gone back to visit devon, because i like the idea of that whole thing happening during a hs reunion in devon town, in which he and brinker joint travel and stay with his family which is its own whole awkwardness but anyway. <- culmination of everything i've ever thought about them since eighth grade

most of my genebrinker thoughts center around this period of adulthood where they're not young anymore but they're not old either, and they have all this unresolved tension and shared trauma and resentment that spills over into their "present" relationship. i think this is where genebrinker would theoretically "actually" start, in adulthood. i think there could've been ambiguous things earlier, especially during their joint enlistment period if they happened to be together, but nothing very deliberate or openly acknowledged until much later. it's this delicious mix of both having an established very domestic and familiar dynamic, knowing this person's routines and habits inside out, and yet having this pent up unspoken something. and for gene and brinker, it's not just this quiet tenderness, although i think that's bound to happen sometimes when you're essentially apartment husbands. i think they'd blow up at each other and let things slip during heated moments that they don't mean to, mostly on brinker's side, bc i think brinker's been nursing some kind of crush since hs, whereas if gene returned brinker's feelings, i think they'd slowly build over time. their familiarity with each other is also very interesting because, while they have this odd like, daddy issues(?) solidarity in the book that again feels very queer, in adulthood, it's also this thing of like, they kind of shared the murder of one of their closest friends. my fav think about genebrinker is that they know the worst of each other, that they actively participated in some of the worst parts of each other's lives, but it's that coupled with like, arguing over dinner and visiting the parents and trying to hold down stable jobs. or i guess for something more connected to the actual book, that coupled with like, accompanying your friend to an awkward meeting with his dad

this is not even all the things i think about their dynamic or all the like underlying sources of tension in their adult relationship in my head, i also think they'd be in very different places in terms of sexuality, and that would come to a head at some point, but i'll stop here because this is a question about my favorite THING, not explain every thought you've ever had about them

3. is there an unpopular opinion you have about your ship?

i think the entire ship is an unpopular opinion lmfao. like 90% of this is my headcanons. ummm i have brinker being the more responsible of the two when i write them as adults, if still the more temperamental one, so that might be controversial? i think at this stage of their lives, he's more practical and better at home ec stuff, and gene cannot fucking take care of himself for the life of him. gene is running himself into the ground while brinker is like get your fucking socks off my floor

rant about the sims 4

new roadmap unpopular opinion :

i’m quite satisfied with this roadmap. i mean, we got so many EPs in 2023 that I can barely catch up (I haven’t fully explored growing together, not finished my ranch and still setting residential lots..) there are so many things to do and a lot of simmers want “content for having content”, and are not actually playing the game. i know that we don’t play at the same speed (I'm very slow, I don’t age my Sims, haven’t finished Willow Creek.. so it says a lot), but how can you complain that EA releases too many packs, but at the same time request for more and more expensive packs? lmao it doesn’t make any sense. 

also, I don’t consider kits as packs. they are add-ons for people who want to expand some collections, but are not really essential to get (let alone the fact that some cc creators made some kits available as base game items). despite being a GC, I have purchased some of them with my own money and I regret some kits lmao. now, they are better quality content (for the price I mean) but at a time it was like.. yeah, I don’t want this but I still want all the DLCs. 

I live in France and here we have a powerful currency with the euros. But a lot of simmers tend to forget that many players are living with minimum wage or in a country where even 5$ USD means a lot on their salary/earnings. Now, imagine how players from “weaker currency” (let them called like that bc I don’t want to be biased, or let people think that everyone is poor in some countries when its totally not the case) are dealing with 40$ USD EP coming back to back ??? I mean, in some countries, 40$ USD is a monthly salary or not far away. Which means, getting 3 EPs is out of pocket - literally. 

The Sims 4 is now a luxury to play - because of EA’s greed, for sure, but also bc some players are pushing this agenda of “we need more packs, now!” and bc there’s a high demand, they do not care if the product is exactly want people want. I’m not trying to blame anyone in particular. Tbh, I used to be this kind of player (mostly bc at the launch, the game feeled empty and like a let down compare to previous edition). But now, I fully understand that we are responsible for this never ending issue. As a Game Changers, I know that some people might not believe me, or think it’s not genuine but, clearly, I’m not paid by EA for doing anything. I just playtest most of the time in very short period. I have a great job, I also have some passive income. I don’t need to be influencer to earn money and its a blessing.   

don’t forget that we are all waiting for updates to fix For Rent. it will be mad to launch a new EP if the previous one is still broken for so many players. there’s a lot of things changing for the influencers also and this “slow” time could be used to discover new gameplay, new players, new cc for those who used them and explore all the things we missed in the packs we already have. i still discover new options to this day and I play quite a lot so, you know, we are going to chill together and it will be good. 

as for my suspicion, I really do think as simmers we shouldn’t be worried about upcoming contents. with new competitors launching their game in 2024, EA will be more cautious about the kind of content they release, and they might release more in a shorter time period. I BET we will be flooded with DLCs by the end of the year... 

Now, I really do hope that more Game Changers will be more vocal about the issues (its starting but with caution). we really have nothing to lose. Not bc TS4 is going to be fixed (it won’t, as the BG have so many structural/coding issue) but for Project Rene. We need collectively to point out all the things we do love about TS4 (bc it’s a really beautiful game with a lot of potential) and also the things we don’t like. Loving something or someone is always about honesty : if you friend smells bad, please, tell him. if your friends is in the wrong, tell him! So if you care that much about the Sims, please, tell politely whats is wrong with the game without harassing the creators/workers. 

someone should just open a public file with all the complains compile and give it to the Project Rene team bc we do not want to miss this one for sure.

26. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? honestly it would be great if the sims team improves the older packs, i feel mostly everything from previous games have been included. but it was family gameplay i wanted before growing together was released.

firstly. yn is so irrational that i'm literally pulling strands of my hair out. but love is a strong emotion so i can understand to some extent? that doesn't excuse the amount of things she's done without proper consideration though..

uhh ok. the letter was probably about beomgyu leaving? (maybe quitting twitch and moving onto school studies) hence why chapter 26 is named "moving on".. and that's gonna be so hard to read bcs whenever i read anything ab recovery the tears FALL

27 being named "first love" is probably about felix because of the stems saying "still in love" (unless the chart was made on a website and the website didn't have a "still friends" option or something) or maybe it's a realization that though felix was an era of her life, beomgyu was her first true love?

i can guess 27-28 but don't want to put too much thought as twenty seven is most likely a reunion and twenty-eight is going more about that? the last chapter is more of what i wanted to focus on though because it's simply "cas" so i thinkk it's them dating again and just playing the sims together? like a timeskip? maybe there's a plot twist last second and the ghosts in the room they're playing the sims in go on stan twitter 🤨 (jokes but idk what to expect anymore)

something i was so mad at was yn completely skipping over the love confession and hating beomgyu... like yes that's understandable but PLEASE use empathy in this situation. you are no better than him, doing an impulsive stream because you think it's what's best.. both of them had better options yet decided to take the probably worst one and then yn completely looks past how she's just repeating in gyu's steps...

^^ seriously though because gyu let his love for yn take over and risked losing all his friends, lashed out on them, didn't let them see what he was thinking, and then runs away. yn closes up and is risking losing *everyone* because of love??

if the ending wasn't a happily ever after and my interpretation of 28 was wrong would i be mad? no... not really. if they did just leave each other as a past asset of their live and move on, i would accept that.. i feel like they both harmed each other without trying (excluding gyu being cold at the start) and both saw the major consequences. if they learn from their actions and 28 is just yn playing sims and reflecting on the times i would be okay because it's character development 👍👍

but if it was a happily ever after i would be happy too (as long as it's a timeskip because i can't imagine the ending being like 2 days after the implied unalive mention)

still would be okay with anything you write though 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

(this has got to be my favorite ask ever because you kind off?? read my mind?? in some ways!!)

i want to actually analyze a bit of what you said and offer you (and anyone else) some hints on the future chapters! to keep this from being a long paragraph of wall, i'll put a cut here!

yn and beomgyu are very alike in ways that you mentioned. both are impulsive, deeply feeling, and extremely irrational beings. but they are also different, yn is more openly emotional as we've seen with how she describes how she feels and shows her emotions outwardly. beomgyu, however, is not the same. he tends to not show his emotions (aka his initial coldness to yn) unless they're dragged out of him (keeho getting him to admit jealousy) and when he goes all out, he goes all out. hence his anger towards yeonjun. this will be touched on in chapter 28, which is a gyu-centric chapter.

the letter will also be touched on! but do keep in mind, in yn's emotional state and how she tends to be impulsive, her reaction to the letter might not make sense to someone who isn't irrational with how they respond when upset. also, it will be explained why yn doesn't react to beomgyu confessing that he loves her and how that ties in with his letter. (i can't wait hehe.)

i will say your theory for chapter 26 is spot on! however, i will say you're wrong about the character doing the tasks you mentioned. i don't want to give away too much but i literally was like 😲 when you said that bc that's exactly what happens hehe.

chapter 27 is about felix and yn! not gonna give spoilers on that one though... any ynlix shippers around?

chapters 28-29 are gyu-centric chapters, so if you wanna know why beomgyu decided to become dumb: those are the chapters for you!! can't wait to see how y'all react to that.

your views on yn and beomgyu are pretty much spot on. they both have made some very stupid decisions and are now reaping the consequences of those. however, i promise this story has a "happy" ending. will it be the traditional one of many smaus? probably not.

chapter 30 is also spot on in terms of plot with "someone" playing sims, but i don't wanna spoil it! my hint for you here is just to remember: everything comes full circle.

hi anon bby! this is a great question, although idk if i can offer tht much help bc tbh, i be struggling w this all the time. however, here’s a couple tips tht always help me when i get bored/in a rut and want to play the game again:

1. Using In Game features

Is there an aspiration you’ve never played through? have you played through strangeville or completed the haunted house challenge with paranormal stuff (if you own those packs)? sometimes the easiest way to start for me is trying something in the game that i’ve never done before. a little while ago, i realized i never completely the Komerobi Sight-Seer aspiration, so i made a new sim and started to play through it. it was fun to do new things, and a reminder that theres lowkey so many little features that i be sleepin on. the more packs you have ofc theres more things to try, so keep tht in mind.

2. Using a challenge created by someone in the sims community

9 times out of 10, if i’m in a rut, i will start playing a rags to riches gameplay. it just has a gameplay that is always a litle chaotic, but entertaining and u can really make it turn out in so many different directions. using challenges that other simmers make can help widen ur horizions on different gameplay and can give you generations of challenges/aspirations/sims to explore. some off the top of my head are not so berry 1 or 2, globetrotter, postcard legacy, i’m a lover challenge, 100 baby, alphabet baby challenge.

fun fact: Zenya was originally a sim I made to play eco lifestyle rags to riches, and she’s become my main oc/story main character so, anything can happen!

3. Creating/Finding your perfect save file

i stall on starting gameplay bc i hate the default lots/townies a lot of the time, and thinking about starting over makes me lose motivation. ive taken time to create a couple save files w new lots, townies and sims of mine that make it a fun setting for any kind of gameplay i end up doing. add your fave lots, create your own lore for the neighborhood and the sims who live there, and make sure everything is playable and suits your personal style. if making your own from scratch is tew much work (bc trust me, it is), i also have used ratsave by @ratboysims and lemonade save by @helloavocadooo many times and enjoy them both! also if anyone has reccs for save files pls lmk!

4. Mods

idk if u use mods but i love gameplay mods!! whenever i get a new mod, i play around for a while and test out each feature of it. combining mods together and finding which ones enhance your gameplay is one way to get you engaged in playing again! mod recc list coming soon <33

He's 25% Canadian, 25% Italian and 50% Swedish, and yes he can speak Italian, and he understand Swedish but isn't the best at speaking it. Thanks to his dad being Swedish and mom half Italian/Canadian. :P

His dad was a fisherman! Mom is an Italian teacher so that's why he learned Italian as well :P

Yes I've killed his dad c:

All his senses are cranked up to 11, that gives him damn good hearing, sight, smell, anything really, thanks to his powers.

He's also super strong but i mean hello all conduits are.

He's Bi, but he do like girls a lot! (oh here's a real head canon, he's dating a girl named Candy Behr from The sims 4! I made him in sims and he really fell for her so that's a head canon i carry with me now lol!)

Also a head canon! Due to his powers are glass. And glass is made of part of sand. That will mean he can use sand if he really have to. He will need to be really drained from his glass and his body needs to be in real fight or flight mode. Then he can use sand. It will be really hard for him to control tho since its such a soft material compared to glass that's he's used too.

Isaac:

It's the DUP that made him so fucking big. He was originally a really skinny man before they fucked him up. He was working as a chef in eastern Canada. Then he somehow ended up in Curdun Cay and they turned him into a glass beast.

His powers are also glass!

He's around 2m tall.

He can speak french fluently!

Just like Luca's eyes, Isaac's also glow in the dark. Depending on how much powers he has stored and/or how drained he is.

He has really electric blue eyes tho.

This guy love to cook.

Another head canon! Conduits and their freaky bodies needs to eat a lot to power their powerhouse to body. Isaac being so big need to eat a lot and him cooking his own food makes him keep the cost down. Have you seen the amount of food really strong ppl eating? Yeah? Its' a lot.

Zion:

Zion is 16 years and has cool smoke powers.

This guy is also Swedish! (bc i am)

But he can speak it fluently! Since he moved to Seattle when he was 5 with his family, mom left the second they arrived in the States, and dad and Zion is still living together.

His biggest hero is Delsin Rowe, and when Zion got his power and learned Delsin also has smoke made him so starstruck.

Zion collect Delsin merch. Like... a lot.

Zion is small! Like 155-160cm.

Nature made him small to avoid the DUP easily (I'm nature)

Him still being in school with super powers isn't easy as he has to take weird turn and avoid the DUP checkpoint at all time, when his friends can just walk straight thru them. That isn't suspicious at all?

Zion thinks his dad don't know he has powers but this guy smells like a camp fire all the time the dad is starting to wonder.

Random world head canons:

So yeah this is still set in Seattle, the timeline is a mix from First Light to the middle section of Second Son i'd say. Like DUP is still here and kicking doors.

I'd like to imagine Luca being used in the last part of First Light (where you chase after Shane), to hunt Fetch. Like he's training is almost done at that part and ready to be released into the wild to hunt conduits. This part is kinda like a "last test" for him. He tracks down Fetch in the snowstorm and bring her back to the facility, and then she's being put in the truck and you know the rest lmao.

starting off with disability moments bc i think about it a lot!!! has eds imo, and gets hit with cfs/me post superallergic because like. yeah lets be real it's right there

unlike declan, uses their wheelchair both on and off the field!! will also sometimes use forearm crutches depending on the day but overall pretty frequently uses mobility aids imo

i forget how common this is but. grew up in utah closer to salt lake city. has complicated feelings about it. has complicated feelings about moab too.

is living in dec and ruthless's old apartment– ruthless offered it to them when they fell

black and ashkenazi, not particularly observant but grew up with judaism in like. the background if that makes any sense??

had a somewhat complicated relationship with hurley before their death– i think the two of them are just far apart enough in age that they weren't like. super super close but did love each other and they did take it hard when they died

is unfortunately in love with famous owens and questions every choice they've made in their life that's brought them to this point weekly

stats wise absolutely refuses to field double plays despite being our best defender??? assigned conservation of energy by the sim i literally think about it too fucking much

helped with urban planning after they fell to help rebuild a post-great fire chicago!! still is with a lesser extent but is also on like. three different municipal committees atm! does not actual firefight– this is the way they've responded to the call.

Books I'm considering next

I mentioned before I add a new book every 5 sim years in my bookish save.. I'm torn about what book to add in next for Year 55. I know It seems too soon to be thinking about it bc I'm posting Year 50 right now, but in actuality I'm halfway through playing Year 53 so I need to give myself some time to finish reading and do prep like take notes, make a timeline.

Dust Child (historical fiction about a half Vietnamese half black man who is trying to find out who his father is in the present time intertwined with the story of two sisters who leave their small town to become bar girls in Saigon in past time. I actually haven't read this yet but I became interested in playing something with a Vietnamese storyline because of the tumblr @biplusco . Their Indochine cc collection made me want to play something set in Southeast Asia.

Magic Lessons; The Book of Magic; The Rules of Magic; Practical Magic (trilogy and a prequel following the Owens family of witches since the 1600s. You may know the movie Practical Magic. Of these books I've read Practical Magic and half of Magic Lessons but haven't read The Book of Magic or The Rules of Magic yet. The main issue here is 4 books is a lot to take notes about and make timelines for before playing through. Plus, starting from the late 1600s all the way to more current times at the speed I play will mean I never finish! But maybe I could JUST play the prequel.)

Refugee High (nonfiction about the high school in the U.S. with the highest percentage of refugees. The author chose some students, each from a different country, to delve into the lives of. Could be interesting depicting each one's past in sims before they end up together in Copperdale High School. But I've only just started reading this one.)

Salvage the Bones; Sing, Unburied, Sing (fictions both by Jesmyn Ward and they take place in the same town. The characters even cross paths at one point. I love her writing so much but a key part of one book is a hurricane and the other book mostly takes place in a car so I don't know if I can do this well in Sims 4 as the game is rn)

She's Not There (memoir, gender transition. I might want to read her other book called Good Boy about every dog she's had in her life first so I can play both together and have each of the pets join the family at the right times)

The Glass Castle; Half Broke Horses (both by Jeannette Walls. The Glass Castle is a really popular memoir about the author's nomadic upbringing with parents who eventually choose to be homeless. Half Broke Horses is her biography of her maternal grandmother. That one mostly takes place on ranches. What happens in The Glass Castle basically picks up right after what happens in Half Broke Horses.)

To Kill A Kingdom (fiction, fantasy, mermaids and princes. This one I'm worried about my lack of cc for. I want to play out a fantasy book at some point but I haven't done any collecting of fantasy cc whatsoever yet so it might take a while to accumulate it )

War and Speech (a humorous YA book about a high school girl, new to a school, who joins the super snobby speech team just to try to bring them down from the inside.)

I surrended my life to the sims 4 werewolves. I've been playing my little silly family of woof woofs for a solid week without a day lost. I created this save a way back when the pack lunched, bc I am nothing if not a werewolf fan. And now my first sim is the leader of the werewolf hippie pack. His wife is a cool explorer from the punk rebels pack. They are not soulmates and they do not care at this point (they used to be stressed that they fight fate or some bullshit). The two Townie from the punk pack are married and soulmates. I don't know when it happened. Also hey guy is hella buff and he got that buff that quickly that i didn't realized that he didn't started builded like a bread of a man like a three days ago i think. The main vampire from the vampire pack is a friend of werewolves the same goes for the NB wizard, the Bi vampire and some meremaids. They all meet my sims in the bar in the werewolf town. My main sim and his hot wife have 4 children together at this point, bc they just want them and who am I to say no to more woof woofs to play with. Thier first born is actually a human, and his fighting for his life. I have great plan for him involving being stupid as heck. His also a theater kid. Then they had twins, both werewolves. The older twin got the trait of being better at werewolf stuff, her twin brother did not so now, she is the chosen one and he gets bullied (canonically the game said so). The youngest is a very calm toddler that i have no plans for her just yet. Way back when my first sim was still alone, he took in a runaway teenager and she is still living with them. Now she's a young adult with a job as an independent book writer and she recently won the lottery so now they are fucking rich. That's important bc i don't like rabbit hole jobs but i would go bonkers if they had non rabbit hole ones, so to this they they lives of thing they farm and find themselves and never got past 20 000 simoleons. And now suddenly they got one million more and I move them into bigger one (to this day they lives in this one 20x15 lot with little starter shack but i stacked a second floor on that then eventually changed the house entirely, and then changed that one too, cuz i run out of space bc they had twins 💀 it was stacked. For a bit i had 8 Sims loving in a house on a 20x15 lot do you know how TINY it is, but then the dog died and thing didn't get better she really didn't take that much space, miss her she was a good dog, my sims adopted her off thier backyard just bc her name was Luna and i though it would be funny if a bunch of werewolves had a dog named Luna). This gameplay made me realize that i miss the memory book from the sims 3 (my first sim had sucha a long journey and i would love to see it in the format of photo book). But at the same time i do not want to play sims 3 bc as much as i loved that gamed, the werewolves, my main occults right now, are so shitty there, straight from Teen Wolf. And i do not want to deal with teen wolf wannabees.
