Hey, hey!

I don’t remember if this was canon or just fanon, but there was something about Mei and putting trackers on her friends? In the TMKATI-verse, this could be her way of dealing with her parents, to know where her family is. Some keep them on them for her sake.

But what if it those trackers also had cameras and could record sound?

And it recorded the moment Mr. Star Lord of Fire hit Li Jing with his car?

I am only saying this because it would make for Nezhas favorite video clip ever.

And him showing it to Canon!Nezha would be good too. He’d get a human world phone just to have this video with him, I think.

May or may not show it to the rest of the canon group – many reactions ensue, at least a few snickers to a cackle.

But imagine, later – Li Jing for some reason has arrived and has to tell the canon-gang something (can be anything, not important). The Eclipse twins are placed a in a hastily made nest from the scarves/capes and given a phone with a video playing as distraction, while the grown ups deal with that a-hole.

And he’s talking.

And talking.

Man’s posturing more than saying the very important thing somebody high up in the Celestial Realm sent him to say. It’s very annoying. The 30 minute video the cubs were watching has ended already and they are now randomly jumping from video to video.

Until the algorithm manages something magical.

The next video they play, is the cucaracha car horn.

It is loud.

Loud that the gang instantly stiffen and desperately stone their expressions to not burst out a laugh.

Probably doesn’t help that the ‘huh’ sound Li Jing made was almost similar to the sound he made when hit with the car.

At least that got him to finish the message and leave.

Cackles ensue. The twins are confused but okay with the hugs baba is giving them.

Mei does in canon have trackers on the rest of the Monkie Kid gang as mentioned in "Noodles or Death", it's how they're able to find out where Pigsy and Tang are; apparently a camera is attached to Tang's glasses.

“I attached cameras to all of you guys a while back. Not so creepy now, is it?” ―Mei

The canon series doesn't really expand upon it much afterwards beyond being an easy way for the crew to find out where Tang and Pigsy went.

Baby Mei def had attachment issues - her dragon parents knew she was the new Ring of Samadhi, and they didn't want to "get too attached" (especially with a warning from Ao Guang about something big going down), and after the whole "batman-ing" happens...

Cue a baby dragon with separation anxiety who screams if she isn't in the presence of at least one of her caretakers. Like she'd start crying if someone went to the bathroom without her.

Mei got better as she got older, but she always had very bad anxiety regarding her family members even as an adult. She started to worry about the ways her adoptive family could be hurt and unable to contact her. An Incident where MK got himself into some hero-nonsense as a kid and couldn't answer his phone for many hours, Mei had a straight up panic attack, worried that her little brother had gotten hurt.

The trackers/cameras came in as a compromise to Mei clinging to MK 24/7 after the incident. It really helped to put her anxiety at ease and allow for her and MK do their own things as teenagers. As someone who grew up with anxiety, its kinda hard to learn to just "go do stuff" on your own.

Pigsy thinks the cameras/trackers are a bit creepy, but Macaque and Wukong are like; "How is it any different from us using our powers to keep tabs on you guys?" Pigsy in turn argues that the monkeys don't have a chance of catching him in the bathroom ("I use Gold Vision all the time during work to see if you're in the can or not."). Eventually the arguments peter off until the adults just agree to keep the trackers on their phones/personal effects.

MK in turn is very meticulous on keeping himself findable for Mei.

MK: *is being kidnapped by Villains of the Week* MK: "I wanna warn you guys, I swallowed an air tag." VOWs: *shared looks of confusion*

And ofc due to at least one family member at a time having a camera on them, especially during missions...

You know the kids are watching that on loop, adding sound and video effects until it's like an old youtube poop. Nezha has the video saved in multiple dimensions for a laugh.

Oh gosh the imagery of two pairs of little glowing eyes peaking out from a scarf/blanket nest is soo cute. Probably the default way the monkey parents know how to keep cubs occupied. X3

I love the idea of the Eclipse twins accidentally startling/embarassing a whole god with the sound of La Cucaracha. You know the Celestial Realm would never let Li Jing live it down, no matter the universe XD

Yes. Sometimes it takes me a while to reply, but I always try to. I'm so grateful to anyone who takes the time to leave me a comment. (Also, I'm a 20 year fandom veteran, and back in the day it was considered the norm to reply to comments.)

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I write a lot of oneshots, so there are quite a few with unhappy endings, lol. What comes to mind is Honor Above All Else (OUAT, Robin Hood/Regina Mills, G). OH WAIT. No, it's got to be Just a Dream (Labyrinth, Jareth/Adult Sarah, M).

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Maybe Three Months on Vulcan (Star Trek ENT, Trip/T'Pol, T)?

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Only once. Back in the day, there were some antis who were super offended when we kept shipping Regina and Robin Hood (OUAT) when his wife came back from the dead (which turned out not to be his wife). Someone left a review on a fic that I was supporting infidelity and I was a horrible person. I deleted the comment. Ain't nobody got time for trolls. ;)

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I have very, very few M-rated stories. Usually I just pan to the sky, but when I don't, it's because I feel it serves the story somehow and it's generally more poetry and emotion than descriptions of the mechanics.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

Only twice. The funnest one is When Fairy Tale Meets Mythology (OUAT/MCU, Loki/Jane Foster, Emma Swan/Killian Jones, T).

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I'm aware of, but these days, I wouldn't be surprised.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I was asked a couple of times, but never got the links of the finished product. *shrug*

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Oh, yeah. I've done round-robins, fandom Big Bangs, etc. Not recently though.

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

That's like asking me to pick a favorite child (and I happen to have six of those). You can't make me!

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Want to finish but probably won't? Maybe my unfinished Outlaw Queen stories?

16. What are your writing strengths?

Oneshots. I can short-story like a champ.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Finishing multi-chapter stories. Ugh.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I've done it, though I've tried to keep it to a minimum, making sure it serves a purpose. I also try to make it easy to guess the meaning with context and always, always include the translation in the end notes. OH. And if it's a real language (unlike Vulcan), I try to get the help of a native speaker rather than rely on Google Translate.

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

That's another hard one to pin down. Here, I'll give you my favorite fic for each fandom:

what other Thoughts do you have on the his majesty au that hasn’t been asked about yet?

So the main thing my thoughts I have been consumed with is Itunear's native language (which isn't complete but I do have the rules, alphabet and simple words for, so far)

So like always I did quite a bit of research into fantasy languages before I started, mostly on how to build one. And I found out alot!

With almost all fake languages in modern media, most prominently ones seen in series like Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Game of Thrones and even Disney's Atlantis the Lost Empire, the languages all can be learned and translated meaning that they aren't just gibberish. The way they do this is take a real life root language and twisting the rules, alphabet or phonetic sound into something realistic but different. For example Sindarin from LotR's takes root in the Welsh language.

So for Itunear I wanted to take inspiration from the places around the made up country.

And since the country I've stated was closest to it was Hawaii I started there.

The most similar part of the Hawaiian language and the Itunear language is the phonetic's of the vowels and how they interact with consonants.

In both the vowels sound as such:

A is pronounced "ah"

E is pronounced "eh"

I is pronounced "ee"

O is pronounced "oh"

U is pronounced "oo"

And (almost all) consonants followed by a vowel adds on to the vowel sound. Example:

Ha sounds like "hah"

He sounds like "heh"

Hi sounds like "hee"

Ho sounds like "hoh"

Hi sounds like "hoo"

But that's where the similarities end.

Unlike the Hawaiian language which only has 13 letters in their alphabet Itunear has 21. Which makes a higher variety of sounds and adds a bit of an Asian sound to some of the words(when I was practicing saying some of the simple sentences at work a coworker thought I was speaking Japanese haha)

The rest of the language rules are as such:

- the same vowel cannot be placed next to each other.

- letters such as V, Y, and Z are always pronounced with a "eh" sound and cannot be followed with a vowel. Examples: "zeh" "veh" and "yeh".

- and the only time these rules break are for when the letters ea are followed by a r then it makes "air" sound like in the English words bear, swear, and dare.

So now that we got that down let's take a look at some simple sentences!

I moah hare! (Ee moh-ah hah-reh) - I am here!

Suso'oi. (soo-soh-oh-ee) - Thank you.

Awana, lohi atu ao. (ah-wah-nah loh-hee ah-too ah-oh) - Please, look at me.

Moha maho tahare ezhi? (moh-hah mah-hoh tah-hah-reh ee-zeh-hee) - Are we there yet?

And last but not least

Pala uluma! (Pah-lah oo-loo-mah) - Plus ultra!

Oh god. For ones that are completed and posted, it's The Art of Seclusion. I have others that...will not have "happy" endings but they aren't finished or shared yet.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I have no clue. I haven't finished many outside of oneshots or series. It might depend on the reader. We'll see ;)

8. Do you get hate on your fic?

Not usually but it has happened. I had one person leave a review on AoS being very angry about my lack of warnings and promoting toxic relationships. They had a legit point about the warnings as I hadn't updated them in years despite the fic getting worse lol. I thanked them for pointing it out, updated my warnings and on my next chapter made a point of reminding my readers that the relationship wasn't healthy and not something to aim for. Never heard back lol.

9. Do you write smut?

Do I? 😃 You know it.

10. Do you write crossovers?

Not often, but yes. Caught in the Crossfire is a crossover with characters from multiple worlds coming into the SPN universe. It's Always Darkest Before the (Second) Dawn is on hiatus but it's a crossover between HP and Shadow and Bone.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Yes. Someone took Tammy Thompson Takes on the Upside Down and posted it as their own...only changing the name Tammy to Sammy 😂😂 I've also had fics being posted under my name on sites I didn't approve of. I had to contact the site directly to make them remove it.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes. Someone translated Famous Last Words into...Russian? It's on Ao3 too.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

Yes! I love working with ppl to write. I consider myself basically cowriting a bunch of fics with @vixenofcourse (even if sometimes she doesn't agree) because she gives me ideas for it. I cowrote Caught in the Crossfire with friends of mine, mainly the one who wrote all of Kelly's povs. (fun fact, she doesn't write fanfic on her own but she wrote that lol)

14. What‘s your all-time favourite ship?

Me with everyone I love 😂 No, i have no idea. My ocs and their pairings.

15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

....

No idea. Dialogue? Not sure what else... lol

DESCRIPTIONS. I find them the hardest....and don't ask me about describing my characters...

I don't speak any other language well enough for that. I don't mind it, but usually I just write in English and show they're speaking another language somehow. If I do write in another language, I try to have the translations clearly understood.

Important

You need to be patient. I have ADHD, so I usually write about something when I’m hyper fixated on it. When the hyper fixation is gone, it’s hard to bring it back. When you request something, know you might have to wait years for me to write it (no, this is not an exaggeration.)

I have the right to reject any request. There are things I’m not comfortable writing about. I will let know right away if I’m not comfortable with your request.

Sometimes I have gender dysphoria, and when that happens writing f!reader makes me uncomfortable. This only means that I’ll write it later when I’m not feeling dysphoric.

I'm 24, but minors are welcome to follow, interact and request. If I write something that is not suitable for minors, I'll write MDNI at the top with all the other information.

So, I'd like to send you a ⭐free pass to rant⭐. Also... I'm going to admit that I haven't read anything of only yours. Although your stories were recommended to me (I think we can guess by whom?), it fell onto the list of things I truly meant to do but never found time for.

But I remember hearing some wonderful things about your "Prompt-ly Yours" series, so I'd like to ask you about that one~ 🌈🌠

Not me looking around like mad, all “omg! Someone’s asking! Act normal! Act NORMAL!”

Ok, ok, ok.

I’ll do the Prompt-ly Yours, then a free for all. (Oh no, I can already feel myself getting ready for a ramble…)

So Prompt-ly Yours was my return to writing and my return to fan fiction. And mostly importantly, the first story in forever (possibly ever!) that actually had an ending. I’d been dancing around with the idea of McCoy and Scotty in a story, but never quite hit on what until I saw a list of sentences prompts and really the first five or six on the list felt like they told a story on their own. Then it became a challenge to myself to write something coherent and use all 100(!) sentence prompts on the list.

And I managed it! And it made sense! And, most of all, coming back to writing made me happy!!

Ok, so little things about it. Dr. Barrolds is named for a joke between hubs and I, in hopes he would read it that far and get a laugh (he didn’t.) One of my favorite moments in the story is probably when they tell each other they love each other the first time. Another fave is the last scene when Scotty ruins the moment interrupting McCoy, but was about to do the same thing. And, poor Chekov, but when he and Sulu get an earful and have to share breakfast with Scones the next morning. Chekov’s extreme reluctance to look at them, McCoy and Sulu’s joint embarrassment and Scotty’s total nonchalance kill me every time.

And free pass!

Boaty McBoatstory was a placeholder name that stuck. It also contains another joke for hubs that he’s never read.

A Home with a Hearth was originally going to be a stand alone, and then as I began thinking and plotting out Wherever You Are, I Am, I realized it fit as part of the Prompt-verse and I’m honestly looking forward to when I get to where it fits in.

I was super nervous when I wrote Forgiveness, and it wasn’t honestly going to be a smut when I started it! But then one thing led to another and well 🤷🏻‍♀️ Would I write another? Maybe. If people were interested but I don’t know if I could do as good a job. I kind of prefer bringing the stories right up to the moment and letting the reader picture what happens.

Cor Lapideum is probably a lot cheesy, but I gave it all my sweetness.

One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Temporal Anomaly is entirely because I wanted aos McCoy to be surprised by tos McCoy saying the line “you’ve haven’t married’em yet?”

A lot of my stories circle around one dumb idea lol.

Prior to writing Scones stories, an old high school friend and I (in hs) wrote a pair of back to back tales where we walked through some kind of portal and ended up in Star Wars (she wrote it. She was Luke and I was Han. Genderbent too.) The second story sent us to Lord of the Rings as Frodo (me) and Aragorn (her.) Mark Hamill made an appearance stealing our gray portal home. The series was supposed to continue into the Thrawn trilogy and the Hobbit, but we got lazy. (And busy! Jobs and school!)

My next big fandom story (don’t laugh!) was Monty Python adjacent about a girl who somehow goes back in time to 1968 and gets a job at the BBC for a mad genius writer. The characters were all original, but based of the different pythons. Russell Andrews and Ruby Fontana, my dearest, beloved OCs.

Ok…. I probably wrote waaaay more than necessary. Whoops. Anyone wants to know more feel free to ask. Maybe someday I might even post some Ruby Fontana if anyone’s interested (It’s cool if not.)

A) Of the fanfic you've written, what is your favorite and why?

This question is really hard to answer and that makes me so happy. I have finally learned to be proud of my writing. I do think Two Sides of the Same Function Parts One and Two are some of my very favorite works because I let myself get both very curious and very bold about some more meta type ideas about the Sanders Sides Series.

B) What was the first fandom you read fics in? Which was the first you wrote fics for?

The first fandom I read fanfics for was The Lord of the Rings on fanfic.net.

The first fandom I ever wrote for was actuall NCIS when I was but a wee lass in middle school. My first posted piece was for Star Trek AOS.

I) How many fandoms have you written for? Which is your favorite?

I have written for Numb3rs, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Lord of the Rings, X-Men, and I believe Ghost Whisperer, none of which there is evidence of. Posted fanfics you will find Sanders Sides, TMNT, Batman, The Mangus Archive and Star Trek on AO3. Welcome to Night Vale I have posted on tumblr.

I'm going to be honest, I love working with Sanders Sides, especially creating AUs because it is just the easiest for me to really play with. I've started some AUs for Star Trek, but they all are more or less variations of canon events. With Sanders Sides, it's easier to allow myself to play with the characters in entirely new universes.

Some categories were hard to figure out but it was nice trying to remind myself my favorites.

Princess Mononoke (1997) (easy pick, I love this one the most)

Dead Poet Society (1989)

Indiana Jones series (1981-1989) (I can stomach the Crystal Skull but I'd rather not to?)

Lord of The Rings series (2001-2003)

Pelíšky/Cozy Dens (1999) (A Czech movie that literally means Christmas to me - it is a must to watch with my dad on Christmas Eve, the only tradition about that day that I actually enjoy, it's full of czech humour and history)

Noc na Karlštejně/A Night at Karlstein (1974) (Another Czech movie, or actually a musical that I know all the songs to, seen an adaptation in theatre and it was lit as fuck)

Angélique series (1964-1968) (quite a questionable movie series in terms of sexual themes and women's rights but I do attribute my queer awakening to this character and that needs to wield some weight)

Ao mesmo tempo, grandes jogos são lançados e grandes plataformas sofrem grandes desastres. E para reforçar esse contraste, aí vem The Walking Dead: Destine, com outro sotaque bem negativo. No Metacritic, os usuários embarcam em aventuras inspiradas na série de sucesso da AMC. Curiosamente, embora este título tenha recebido apenas uma pontuação de usuário de 3,5, Skull Island: Rise of Kong obteve uma média surpreendentemente alta de 3,6. Ainda não há avaliações de especialistas sobre o Metacritic. No entanto, o trailer pode sugerir que The Walking Dead: Destine se juntará a um seleto grupo composto pelos jogos King Kong, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum e Stray Souls. A maior crítica ao jogo foi que o título da GameMill Entertainment foi um “tapa na cara” dos fãs da série. trying to pack my dvds and running up against the problem of . i have too much and mostly bc i have doubles of . um . all of trek original series. all the trek movies (og and aos!). all of star wars. and lord of the rings. and each duplicate has different special features then it’s match. and i havent finished ripping everything yet. and im a freak data hoarder. so it just has to come with. Like. augh.

Durante o Nacom Connect, foi revelado um trailer história de The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, que exibe personagens como o Gandalf e o Boca de Sauron, o emissário do Lorde das Trevas. O jogo também vai contar com personagens que não apareceram na trilogia e poderão ser explorados, como Thranduil, o pai de Legolas.

Durante o trailer é possível ver que o jogo “mostrará uma história jamais contada”, mas os jogadores passarão por cenários já conhecidos da Terra-Média. Além disso, como o próprio trailer já mostra que os heróis e vilões da saga original terão papéis importantes na narrativa.

Apesar de Gollum estar previsto para chegar ainda em 2023, a Nacon ainda não anunciou uma data de lançamento, mas o estúdio afirmou que pretende disponibilizar o jogo entre julho e setembro. Na Steam, já é possível colocá-lo na Lista de Desejos.

Ambientado na terceira era da Terra-Média, antes dos acontecimentos da trilogia, o jogo acompanha Gollum em sua jornada como escravo na torre de Barad-dûr, em Mordor. Os desenvolvedores explicaram que o jogo é uma mistura de elementos de ação e stealth, que deixará o jogador explorar vários cenários diferentes.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum chegará ao PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch e ao PC.
