when u go to write a mentally ill person in ur story you are presented two options. the first option is to write your mental illness realistically as you actually experience it with all the ups and downs and people who are like you will resonate with it and feel seen. except every person who reads instagram infographics on mental health that uses the phrase narcicisst for anyone who does anything that crosses them and unironically call themself a dark empath will call you scary and tell you that youre demonizing mentally ill people
the second option is to lie and write inspiration porn for those people to get hard to

"so be sure to forgive him ASAP." (Killer accidentally hurting his SO)
What if you don't forgive him? What if he reaches for you dramatically while pretending to grovel and you flinch? If he notices you're tense and silent, not taking your eyes off him- normally he'd love that, but you aren't looking at him lovingly, or even with fond annoyance.
You're afraid, and it's directed at him.
Killer has an alarmingly one-track mind, when it comes to you. He will continue to pester you, every single spare moment he has, with the same big smile and silly energy and loving aura, as if nothing was wrong. It doesn't matter if you're laughing at his jokes or visibly pulling away from him in terror. He keeps going.
You're still scared? More stupid jokes. More apologies. More gifts. More nudging you with his elbow and saying "hey, watch this," before he does something that makes Dust or Horror regret waking up that morning. More smiling. More casually putting his elbow on your shoulder while he's talking to someone else. He will gnaw away at your fear response to him, piece by piece, until you're desensitised and you can start to love him again.
He's a deranged little persistence hunter, addicted to the way your smile fills the huge hole he carved out of himself. He will never let you go.

a boscage sonic to go along with my boscage shadow
they exist in the same altered universe, where the overgrown plant life is the result of a science experiment catastrophe. and hey, ““eggman”” is here too! not everyone was able to board the ark and escape the planet way back when, so he’s been helping the remnants of civilization survive down on good ol’ terrafirma.
windthrow acts as an “assistant” of sorts, although he’d never consider himself as such. if his tall, mushroom-headed friend asks for something from the forest, he’ll run out and get it. simple as that.
sometimes he asks for really weird stuff though. and he spends a lot of time in that back room of his, working on... something. but i’m sure it’s nothing to worry about. right?

if i see one more person try to claim aziraphale doesn’t love crowley as much as crowley loves aziraphale i will throw hands.
say it with me: just because they show & express their love for each other differently doesn’t mean one of them loves the other more

you know what i am so glad that exu calamity gave us insight into vespin chloras's reasoning and everything because now i can confidently say that the guy who kicked off the point in exandria's history that killed 2/3 of the population and fundamentally changed the way the gods interact with the world had more understandable reasoning than ludinus da'leth does.
