Nonsensical story about baby-Baby5 and Doflamingo. A little little-law
No warnings. No triggers. More plot than Laws. Still no plot.
Words 396
Baby5 was such a helpful little girl.
She held a basket far too big for her short, tiny arms. It was full of delicious fruit that she bought all by herself at the market that very morning.
Apples. Pineapples. Crabapples.
She wasn't sure which sort of apples the Young Master mentioned at dinner last night - but she knew that one of these apples would be it.
Her smile shined, brimming with pride as she rushed up the tin stairs to her home. The mere thought of surprising her family with all this fruit she bought, brought tears to her eyes.
Baby5 was an emotional little girl. Baby5 was still a child after all.
So within reason, as she stumbled, sending the entire basket of precious cargo cascading down the stairs, she couldn't help but let out a heartfelt cry. While she was crying her big crocodile tears, giving chase to the apples, pineapples, and crabapples that hit each and every stair on their way down, a tall man watched from the window with an even stare and a furrowed brow. He eyed the mismatched fruits with curiosity but didn't waver from his spot.
She gathered the basket, placing each and every bruised fruit back in. She then remade her journey up the stairs - this time looking dejected.
"What do you have there?" Doflamingo asked as she walked into the home.
Pushing back her tears, she held out the basket of damaged perishables.
"You said last night you wanted apples!" She spoke - looking up at him with her large dewy eyes. "Is one of these a 'Dapple', Young Master?"
Doflamingo stared down at her. He thought breifly. Then after only a lingering moment, the light bulb went off in his head and he smiled wide, chuckling.
"Do you mean... ‘dabble’? I recall speaking about how I would like to dabble in..." He then paused, choosing a wiser option suddenly. He reached all the way down to her basket - plucking out the most indistinguishable fruit. A bruised, leaking Crabapple. "Ah yes. Here it is. Thank you."
Baby5's expression quickly transformed to pure joy - radiating much like the sun itself.
Baby5 was such a helpful little girl.
"He's lying to you," Law commented from the shadows.
With her world shattered she fell to her knees at the Young Master's feet.
Baby5 was an emotional little girl.
