having rewatched all of season one it is now even weirder to me how people hate on it so much. like yes it’s weird and yes it struggles at times but that’s the whole show! in my opinion season one has some of the best writing, directing, and overall acting in the whole show. every character gets an actual arc (and there are surprisingly few unexplained things) and the camera angles are all really cool and interesting and feel like a sci-fi show and instead of just having a few people shine everyone gets to really use their acting skills and they all do a great job! it’s definitely a season worth watching and i don’t understand why some people don’t

yeah i think for a lot of people it doesn't feel like 'legends' but it is def one of the best executed seasons like. s3 is my personal favorite n even i'm like 'ye there are some things that could have been done better'. i was keepin ep by ep ratings n the only ep that got below a 4/5 was 'star city 2046' and that's still a pretty good ep with the premise and how it's done (i just like the b plot better than the a plot lol)

it feels kinda mean to say but in s1 they definitely had their priorities straight more than like any other season and it shows

when i'm like. i wish the later seasons were more serious. it's almost like... i don't want more bad things to happen but just everyone getting to flex emotionally n shit like god i would have loved more of that in later seasons
