On love and sacrifices
There’s so much more to this scapegoating business and big sacrifices referenced in the Good Omens narrative than the literal goats. And they’re only getting bigger, louder, final.
But let’s take it slow and start with the beginning, quite literally — i.e., with the Good Omens 2 title sequence. As we follow Aziraphale and Crowley on their journey, the universe warps and their usual left and right side positioning switches during the magic show (not accidentally an act of trust and sacrifice required both from the angel and the demon). They stay so throughout the next scene, which is their little dance in the air, and after they seemingly get settled on the A. Z. Fell and Co.’s roof and back to normal, the flipped sky in the background suggests that something’s not quite right yet. In the central part of the shot looms a large, humanlike shadow of the Elephant Trunk Nebula.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The nebula is a part of a constellation called Cepheus, after an Ethiopian king from the Greek mythology who agreed to sacrifice his only daughter in order to appease the gods and end a local calamity started by her mother and his wife, Cassiopeia (talk about generational responsibility). With time and a delightfully ironic twist of fate, the name of said daughter, Andromeda, became more famous than that of her father. Although she was chained up to a rock and offered to the sea serpent Cetus, the girl was spotted by the warrior Perseus, casually flying over the sea — either on the back of the Pegasus or thanks to a pair of winged sandals — after his victory over Medusa. He fell in love on the spot, defeated the serpent (with the help of a magical sword or Medusa’s severed head, depending on the varying sources), and freed the princess. That’s not exactly where their story ends, but we won’t be getting into the rest here.
Tumblr media
Not surprisingly, Neil has mentioned two parallel child sacrifice stories from the biblical context back in August. The first is one of the big ones — The Binding of Isaac. God's command to sacrifice Isaac, his only son, was a test of Abraham's faith. The angel of the Lord intervenes and provides a ram to be sacrificed in the boy’s place.
The second one isn’t nearly as popular, but you might have heard a variant of it in fairy tales or as the Law of Surprise invoked in The Witcher saga. In exchange for Israel’s victory over its enemies in battle, Jephthah had rashly promised God to repay the debt with the first thing seen on his return back home. The victorious warrior didn’t suspect to see his only child moving innocently "to meet him with timbrels and with dances" though. In horror, Jephthah covered his eyes with his cloak, but to no avail: ultimately, he was forced to honor his vow to God, and the girl was sacrificed. As grisly as it might look like in the Old Master’s paintings, it’s important to remember that human sacrifices weren’t limited to physical offerings only — Jephthah’s daughter might have been offered to God in the sense of officially shunning her family and dedicating her life to service instead, probably sequestered in a temple somewhere.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Interestingly, the main character of a big chunk of the Bible and the reason for the Second Coming happens to be THE most influential child sacrifice in the modern history. You know, a certain 33-year-old carpenter sent by his Heavenly Father to die on a cross for the sins of the mankind? Someone better call Aubrey Thyme ASAP.
Circling back to Aziraphale, he could be also seen as a representative of the concept of filial piety, since Eden willing to personally take a Fall not only for the humanity’s collective or individual transgressions, but the shortcomings of his Ineffable Parental Figure as well. Our favorite angel angel always fights for what is right and good, sure, but why would that be even a thing if God was truly omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If Aziraphale’s medal is anything to go by, it looks like we might get an answer from the way it’s introducing another mythological narrative into the game, that is the story of Daedalus and Icarus. The most absorbing thing about this is the stark contrast to the recurring child sacrifice references for S3 mentioned in this post — Daedalus isn’t a father who wanted to sacrifice his son, it was his attempt to save him from imprisonment that ultimately drove Icarus to his death. The boy ignored his father’s explicit instructions, committing the grave and culturally universal sin of disobedience to one's parents that simply couldn’t go unpunished, one way or another.
But Icarus’s transgression could be seen both as high-flying ambition and striving for personal accomplishment as well as humanitarian sacrifice for knowledge and humanity’s advancement in general.
Similarly to a certain angel who left everything for what superficially seems like a work promotion, but is the ultimate act of love — both for his demon and the children they have been protecting and nurturing together for six thousand years. From the very Beginning, his white wings have been shielding everything he holds dear in this world.

Teen Wolf meets How to get away with murder
I just finished season 2 of How to get away with murder. I'm in love. It has some of my favorite things: found family and blind loyalty.
Idk how I ended up here, I finished the last episode and the next thing I know I was looking for the correspondence between the characters of HTGAWM and those of Teen Wolf. So here I am.
N.B.: it's not always a canon equivalence. Sometimes it's just my favorite headcanon dynamic.
Annalise: Stiles
Frank: Peter; Boyd; (Malia)
Bonnie: Lydia
Nate: Derek
Wes: Scott
Laurel: Allison
Connor: Jackson
Oliver: Danny
Asher: Erica
Michaela: Isaac
Now I'm gonna explain why.
Stiles is the mastermind behind the pack plans, has a different moral compass than the norm and would definitely kill, lie and harm to protect the ones he loves, and -if that was the case- he would feel no remorse. In other words, Annalise. He also has a soft spot for Scott (and Annalise for Wes) and often finds himself making up for the mistakes his friend made in good faith. Furthermore, BAMF Stiles.
Frank is the muscle of the group and so are Peter and Boyd. Both are the kind of people who don't ask questions and would have no problem killing for a person they trust. Frank, like Peter, would sometimes be prone to violence right away and needs to be restrained. Plus Peter would love Frank's sense of style. (We could put Malia here as well, even if I don't feel exactly the same about her).
Bonnie is Annalise's right hand man. She's similar to Annalise: not enough but she understands her better than the others. I live for Lydia as Stiles' best friend. They are also both very stylish.
Nate is Annalise's lover, has a strong personality and doesn't trust very easily. He's also more than "the muscle" but less than "the brain" of the group. Annalise trusts him enough to let him act on his own, but still always goes out of her way to protect him. I love when Stiles is so protective of Derek (sterek of course).
Wes and Scott. Do i really have to explain it? I switch from like to dislike every 10 minutes when both of them are on screen. Great loyalty which, however, is undermined by a moral compass different from that of the group. They always see the good in others and this sometimes leads to problems.
Laurel is the one with the coldest mind of all the young adults. She is able to remain lucid even in stressful situations and is the one most inclined to lead (excluding Annalise). She has a darker mind than she appears to be and has no problem killing if necessary. She also has a dangerous family behind her. Allison is canonically all of these things too.
Connor is the suspicious one, the only one who maintains real contact with the "outside world" and who is not entirely devoted to the cause. When necessary, he plays his part and participates actively, even if he apparently tends to freak out. He also always makes piqued comments and is not ashamed to use his body to get what he wants or needs. Jackson fits perfectly the role.
Oliver is Danny in so many ways: sweet, gets involved with others but underneath he's eager for adventure, computer technician and hacker, canonically gay.
Asher is the perfet mix between an himbo and a very intelligent person. He's loyal and actually caring, even if it might not seem like it at first. He also makes sex jokes and somehow won the heart of a reserved person (lots of grumpy/sunshine dynamics). Erica is very similar to him (in this house we believe in the canonicity of Erica/Boyd).
Michaela is the one with family problems. She has trouble trusting and sometimes ends up trusting just because she's tired of always looking over her shoulder. However, if you show her that she can trust you and that you will protect her, she's very loyal. She likes to be independent, but in times of need she needs the guidance of someone she deems more capable. The same goes for Isaac.
Let me know what you think but NO SPOILER: I haven't seen season 3 yet.

Derek left Beacon Hills after all the Alpha Pack/Darach drama, and he didn't really wanna keep up with BH, so he asked Peter to not tell him anything. He had no idea that the Nogitsune happened. So, when he finally returns to BH, 5 YEARS later, he wasn't really expecting a warm welcome or anything, but he also wasn't expecting the coldness of everyone. Like they were just cold and polite, something clearly happened while he was gone 'cause they were just treating him as a stranger and not the pack he once was. But the worst thing for Derek was that Stiles of all people was the one leading the cold party, he was, apparently, the emissary and was acting as such. Derek couldn't recognize Stiles, Stiles was no longer the warm, sarcastic, clumsy and innocent human Derek once knew. No. Sure, he was still sarcastic but no longer warm, clumsy, innocent nor even human. Stiles was now cold, sarcastic, stoic, graceful and some kind of a magic user? Derek thought that was the smell anyways. A kitsune that Derek didn't know stepped forward and said "Since our Alpha here seems to have forgotten the meaning of 'introduce', allow me to do the honors. I'm Kira, the one with the puppy look in there is Isaac, the other one with the puppy look is Liam, the redhead is Lydia and our Alpha, you may know him as Red, but Stiles for us and whoever he decides to be friendly with."
Derek is confused and asks whoever wants to answer him out of the ones he once knew "What happened to Scott? Why is Stiles the Alpha now? Why go by another name?" for Derek's surprise, Lydia is the one who answers "Scott is dead now, just like Allison and the Sheriff...I mean, Stiles' dad, not Jordan. Geez, why is it always confusing to explain to someone we knew?!" Derek gets even more surprised when Stiles laughs and says "Well, 'cause as far as they know my dad is still the Sheriff and is still alive. They usually don't keep up with the news once they leave, Lyds." Lydia shrugs and says "You're not wrong there..."
Derek is more confused than shocked or surprised by now. Like, why the fuck they're being so casual about it?! But before he can ask anything, Kira asks something first "Wait, so you guys know Mr Werewolf confused here?" Isaac replies "Me, Stiles and Lydia, yeah. He was our Alpha once." Kira just lets a "Oh" out and Liam just nods So Derek asks now "Okay, but when did that happened? How?! And I still haven't got my answer to why use a different name." Stiles is the one that answers this time "I was possed and thought it would be great to go on a killing spree around Beacon Hills. Scott, Allison and my dad were caught in the crossfire. It wasn't fun, but shit happens and we had some time to grief and lots of therapy, which also wasn't fun. And the name is just something we thought it would be fun, since you know, I'm kinda the only person alive to survive being possed by a Nogitsune. I wouldn't recommend that as well, it kinda sucks to know that your magic kinda made a clone of you and you and your pack killed your original body." and Derek could just stare at them shocked, all he could think was "What the fuck?!"

Brutal Bloody Revenge
Read it on AO3 at https://archiveofourown.org/works/50867425 by Arvak "Very impressive," Peter said, slowing his approach. "Not, and I mean no offense, something that Stiles would be able to do. So, who are you?" "I can shoot a gun, Peter," Stiles mumbled, lowering his pistol. "I don't mean the gun." He glanced off, where the bodies still lay. "How could you know about the Alphas? And where to find them?" "I'm just clever?" "You rescued Erica and Boyd before anyone even knew they were missing." "I'm... really clever," he drawled, packing up his things. "You're not Stiles," Peter decided. "Don't get all paranoid," Stiles mumbled. "That doesn't happen until like, half a year from now."   -OR- Stiles travels back in time in order to save everyone he loves, but accidentally goes a bit too far. Now he's stuck in the body of his 17 year old self with the knowledge of every good and bad thing that will happen in the next ten years. One day or Day one, am I right?
Okay, so god knows the amount of ideas I have for a few of the fandoms I hold close to my heart. The main one as of right now being Teen Wolf.
So here's a list of ideas I had written down or just in my mind for a long while :P (BTWs, a few of these I honestly don't remember my thought process for them, even tho I included a bit of context for myself in my notes)
Gone, Gone, Gone - Phillip Phillips /// Childhood Friends/Sweethearts AU [Sterek Animatic]
a lil montage thing of them growing up together, or something
Friends on the Other Side (Mash Up) - Thomas Sanders & Friends /// Kind of a mafia vibe w/ Spark Stiles [Pack Animatic]
- Stiles = Dr. Facilier - Isaac = Oogie Boogie Man - Others (couldn't think of which characters would fit with which disney villain)
Backstage Romance /// [Sterek Animatic]
- Some sort of ceremony, maybe? With how sexual the music video or whatever is, the idea is lowkey a mating ceremony...in dance??? Like obviously not sex, it was idea of the ceremony was going to be more them exchanging the mating bites - Derek (the male role/voice) goes first in kind of seducing (dancing around) Stiles, then Stiles (the lady) would have his turn, and then both of them kind of seducing each other, aka dance together and are abt to bite each other - Interrupted by hunters??? Or separated by their respective family / friends - Flashback to b4 b4 the ceremony or when they were kids @ the "some of them want to use you," which in the flashback it'd be both their parents warning them about, well, people wanting to use them because they're a spark and a werewolf >>> then back to the ceremony - But it is a whole ass dance like in the BGT video performance
Lover boy X Killer Queen /// I had three separate, but ultimately similar ideas for this one [Sterek Animatic (more tiktok formish)]
1. >>> Stiles talking abt Derek (Loverboy) / Derek talking abt Stiles (Killer Queen) <<< These are interchangable, like the songs could be either one of them 2. Derek describing himself to Eli / Stiles describing Derek to Eli 3. How Sterek acts like "now," (ignoring the movie) they're married and openly show that they love each other / How they used to act before, so like maybe Season 1-2 ish (?)
Inspo from reading title "Wolves who cried boy" - 3 ideas that kind of combined and became a 5 + 1 idea [Sterek Fic]
1. Stiles isn't known by the pack yet. So when the 5 pups (I think I included Jackson???) spot him in different areas around Beacon Hills, they all go to Derek or call him to come over. But Stiles is always gone by then, including his scent. 2. A *Stiles and Derek are around the same age,* where Derek keeps finding Stiles in the forest/preserve and his family never believes him or something 3. The '5' being idea #1 and idea #2 as like a flashback for the 5th one, and the '+1' being when Stiles finally showing up to the pack house by himself or w/ Derek
Mandalorian!Derek and Jedi!Stiles /// Star Wars AU [Sterek]
Only notes I have for this idea is, use "We're (a little bit) in love" as reference(-ish). Which I'm assuming is a fic I read, but I read so many damn fics I don't know which one this is. And my second note, Pack = Clan
"So what if he did? it's none of your dang business kid. My mom, there's no-one else quite like my mom" /// Art edit/animatic idea [Stilinski, Hale or Sterek Family (centric-ish)]
1. Eli -> Stiles -> Claudia 2. Eli -> Stiles -> John/Noah 3. Eli -> Derek -> Talia Thought process: - Claudia had a past w/causing trouble or slightly disrespecting the officers if she was questioned - The Sheriff and Stiles are both badasses in finding evidence/proving ppl wrong - The Hales would obviously be pissed at being chained/tied down and most likely bamfs when getting out of it :D

Unpredictable
Reading on AO3
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Archive Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply Category: M/M Fandom: teen wolf - Fandom Relationship: Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski Characters: Scott McCall (Teen Wolf), Stiles Stilinski, Jackson Whittemore, Lydia Martin, Allison Argent, Chris Argent, Peter Hale, Talia Hale, Cora Hale, Melissa McCall, Sheriff Stilinski (Teen Wolf), Isaac Lahey Additional Tags: Time Travel, Fix It, Bad Friend Scott McCall (Teen Wolf), Pack Beta Derek Hale, Everyone Is Alive, Redemption, BAMF Stiles Stilinski, Mates Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski, from Scott's point of view
Scott shakes his head as he stares towards Stiles. He doesn’t recognise the person in front of him anymore, doesn’t understand why he would lie so much and so hard. Donovan wasn’t the monster that Stiles was trying to make him out to be. He had listened to Theo’s accounts of what happened, had seen the scene for himself before sending Theo off home and it sounded and looked like it made so much more sense…after all, why would Donovan want to go after Stiles of all people.
He was nothing, a nobody.
Turning, Scott left Stiles standing there in the rain, the fat drops sliding down over his skin as he walked away, ignoring the shouts and begs that came from the teenager behind him.
It was Stiles’ fault.
Everything that had happened over the past few years, now that Scott thought about it, it all led back to Stiles. Every bad thing that has happened to him, every time he has gotten in to trouble, Stiles was right there by his side, guiding him through the motions which led to each downfall and scolding.
Afterall, it was Stiles’ fault that he had been bitten by Peter Hale in the first place. He had been the one to drag him out in to those woods that night, he had been the one who dragged him through the darkness and the trees until they came across Laura’s body. It was Stiles’ fault that Allison and so many others were dead now, cut down in their prime, stopped before they could live their lives to the fullest. He and Allison could’ve found so much happiness together, could’ve gone on to grow old together and have kids one day maybe.
It was all Stiles’ fault.
And now there has been another death, another unnecessary death at the hands of the person he had once called his brother. And Scott couldn’t deal with it anymore, he couldn’t deal with the human that had brought so much pain and misery to his life. As he moved through the street and back to his bike, his mind was full of things he could change before they landed on the one thing that he had remembered Deaton mentioning in passing. A way to go back and change things in the past. Deaton had mentioned that it was dangerous to cast, that time travel could be a fickle thing to play around with. He hadn’t had any good stories of people who have been known to meddle with the past but Scott didn’t care. He had decided on it by the time he started the engine up.
He would go back in time and stop Stiles.

"I WILL get you home."
Let’s be real. No one cares what I’m up to right now (it’s nothing, I’m up to nothing) because the second Doctor Who special came out the other day.
WILD BLUE YONDER.
Wherein 14 and Donna end up in an abandoned spaceship at the edge of a wormhole and they meet their own evil not-selves.
This one was so ridiculous, I absolutely love it. It’s so Doctor Who to drop them somewhere and just make them run through insanely long corridors the entire time. It’s one of my favorite motifs. 10 was always running and licking things and obviously 14 had to, too.
Before the spaceship nonsense though we get the silliest opener, the Doctor and Donna ending up in a tree in 1666 where they come across Sir Isaac Newton - who didn’t know he was a Sir of course and 14 just said “spoilers!” and I lost my shit a little bit. River effing Song, for liiiife.
But the joke Donna intended on making, the Doctor trying to stop her, I’m dead. The two of them delivering the punchline together. It was all about the banter in this episode. The banter, and sheer terror, of course. But I am 97% here for the banter. I guess I’ll take a little bit of a scare, whatever.
Anyway, they end up crashing in this spaceship and Donna’s all worked up and it’s gotta be the most posted scene: 14 grabbing her hand, holding it to his chest, kissing her knuckles, promising he’d get her home safe.
Tumblr media
Here’s the thing, friends - 10 never got to be affectionate, ever. He couldn’t tell Rose he loved her before he was cut off from her. And even when she got to keep his human clone, we didn’t get to hear it then. He was all fury and intelligence and closed off to protect everyone and I’m so excited 14 gets to be more…human. The Doctor has been through a LOT since he last saw Donna and he knows she deserves to know how much he cares about her and it’s just pouring out of him and I’m so fucking smitten. It’s beautiful. He’s beautiful.
Anyway, to try and fix the situation he sticks the sonic screwdriver into the keyhole of the TARDIS, encouraging it to rebuild itself while they investigate their surroundings. Which leads them to the long ridiculous hallway. Wherein some of my favorite banter comes in: Donna thinks that Isaac Newton was hot, and 14 agrees, “He was, wasn't he? He was so hot. Oh! Is that who I am now?” Donna’s response of “well it was never that far from the surface…” was perfect, and if you’re not squealing at this point, what’s going on with you? That’s a serious question. Can 14 be my favorite if he only gets three episodes? Is that wrong?
Just kidding though! Banter interrupted. They hear the TARDIS powering up and when they pop back into the hold they crashed in, she disappears. The Doctor thinks that she’s detected an imminent threat, and will return when it’s passed.
Not great news. But Donna fucking Noble says “There's something on this ship that's so bad the TARDIS ran away? Then we... go... and kick its arse!” because she’s a BAMF and it’s best we don’t forget that.
Back out in the hallway they get back to bickering and it’s all nice and easy but then they hear the ship say something and the hallway rearranges themselves which is disconcerting. They’d seen something in the hallway at a distance, so the Doctor figures out there’s a transport vehicle hidden in the floor and they hop in. They reach the thing and it’s a ridiculously old robot that moves one step, barely, and they’re perplexed by that but they hop back into the vehicle and I love Donna mocking 14’s love of “allons-y!” and they’re just cute and amazing and my favorite.
They find what I’m assuming is the control room and the Doctor sets to figuring out what’s going on. No life signs on the ship, but an airlock door was opened and then closed three years ago. They send out a drone they find, and slowly 14 realizes where they are: essentially the edge of the universe. Further out than the Doctor has ever been. And he’s so fascinated by it. And then they hear the ship announce another word, and it rearranges itself again and they wander to try and find more information.
In some room with a bunch of shelving, 14 pulls out a drawer with a bunch of circuit things that look like they’re covered in honey. When Donna asks if they’re dangerous, he LICKS one and then fakes like he was poisoned, like, baby boy probably not the best time, but again! The banter, the playfulness! It’s giving everyone life.
Tumblr media
He tells her to move up a bunch of the circuit things into the tray above and then he leaves her to go investigate another room with a bunch of water tubes? Sure. They should be able to hear each other while he adjusts water levels. Next thing we see is 14 rejoining Donna, and they’re chatting as usual, she wondering how long her family will wait for her in that alleyway, after seeing the TARDIS disappear in distress.
Then we see Donna entering the room the Doctor is in, saying she finished moving the circuits but it doesn't’ feel right, and then they’re cutting back and forth between Donna talking to the Doctor in one room and the Doctor talking to Donna in another. Boop, y’all in danger.
Like this should be disconcerting but my favorite part of the entire sequence is the Doctor that Donna is with says “my arms are too long” and she just brushes it off like, ‘yeah you’re gangly AF’ and then the Donna that the Doctor is with says “my arms are too long” and he reacts like ‘humans are super weird, I get it’ like neither one are at all put off by the non-sequitur. They’re such best friends.
But then the Donna the Doctor is with DOES have an arm that’s too long and panic sets in and then there are 2 Doctors and 2 Donna’s and isn’t that fun?! The duplicates tell them that they came from the nothingness, they’re “not-things” and then they start GROWING so of course it’s time to run.
I’m sorry, but watching the two of them be pursued by weird stretched out versions of themselves is actually kind of hilarious. Creepy as hell, but also extremely entertaining. As they run they figure out that the not-things are making copies of them, their bodies and their minds, they have their memories, and that’s not gonna be great y’all, how are they gonna tell each other apart?!
Eventually the copies get so big they get wedged in the hallway and the Doctor spots a ladder so he starts to climb it along with Donna, but then the hallway rearranges itself again and they get separated, dumped into different corridors. 14 yells at her to stay put but she doesn’t, she starts moving and he starts moving and eventually they both find doors, and on the other side of both of those doors is the Doctor, and Donna.
We don’t know who is who, either, and that’s really the stakes of the whole thing. How do the real Doctor and Donna know it’s each other, and not a copy? Y’all want a perfect excuse to yell at the tv? Because this is yell-at-the-tv territory. Just me curled up in a blanket shouting, “I don’t think that’s him, baby girl! That’s not ya boy!”
And so they try to figure out a way to tell who is actually who, and it’s bumbling and they’re trying to reason it out and it just doesn’t go well. The Doctor that’s with Donna says he’ll take off his tie because maybe the duplicates don’t understand matter like that. The Donna that’s with the Doctor asks him where she was born and launches into some crazy story and they’re just muddling through it.
At this point I’m like, ‘well it’s got to be that each of them are with a duplicate because if the duplicates came upon each other then they’d just like, keep moving? Because they know they’re duplicates’ but it’s fine, whatever. Here’s where it gets sad - The Donna the Doctor is with starts to tell him that when she was The DoctorDonna she saw all the things he went through in those fifteen years, and she mentions The Flux.
I have a lot of problems with The Flux, I can’t lie. But let’s ignore it, because I guess it’s canon now, maybe? And the Doctor is devastated by the mention of it and that tips him over the edge, he just wants someone to understand the utter shitstorm he went through and so he thinks it’s Donna, he says, “all those years, I missed you”  but JK IT’S NOT. He falls for it. But the duplicate sinks into the floor because they’re bad at being solid and she’s so intrigued by what he is because he’s basically controlled the universe and I can imagine that’s super attractive to a not-thing made of nothingness.
Meanwhile Donna figures out the Doctor she’s with is a duplicate, because he doesn’t maintain the tie on the floor that he took off, and then everyone is running again and the ship rearranges itself and all 4 of them  end up back in the control room, still trying to suss out who is who.
The Doctor is talking fast and the duplicate is trying to do the same and one of the Donna’s says they’re stupid and they both reiterate it’s true but then the Doctor says that Donna thinks she’s stupid but she also thinks she’s brilliant because humans can believe different things at the same time. So they look at each other, realizing they’re both the right ones and Donna says “brain box!” and 14 yells “earth girl!” and they hug. So much hugging in this episode.
The point is though, the duplicates are copying them because they’re thinking and their adrenaline level is up so the real two of them try to calm down and not think but we all know the Doctor,  he has to run a mile a minute always and forever and he can’t give up on the puzzle they’re in: who opened the airlock? Why is the ship rearranging itself? What’s the random clanging they keep hearing?
He realizes the duplicates don’t know the answer either. But they know the TARDIS will come back for the Doctor and Donna and they want to escape and apparently cause a bunch of wars throughout the universe? Because of course. Perfect sense. Why wouldn’t not-being be blood thirsty? Then the skylight opens in the control room and they see a body tethered to the ship, floating in the nothingness, the captain.
The Doctor realized the captain did something to trap them in system and he has to work out why, which is not great because that’s what the duplicates want but the Doctor’s gonna doctor. They figures it out: the airlock opening was the captain going out, killing herself. She realized what the duplicates were doing and came up with a plan and then died so they couldn’t unravel it. The ship’s in a holding pattern because she pulled out an old robot they couldn’t copy and set it to basically destruct, slowly. The robot is walking toward a button, and the ship is rearranging slowly, marking out a countdown.
The duplicates know they need to stop the robot, and the Doctor knows they need to speed up the countdown. So everyone’s running again. And there is a hilarious fight  between the Donna’s, and the Doctor is pursuing his duplicate and it’s a perfect chase sequence and everything is going nuts but the Doctor knows the TARDIS will come back when the danger is passed and then they hear “ONE” and there she is, to save the day.
The right Doctor gets in and he does a hilarious little thing where we props the door open and propels her like a skateboard to where the Donna’s are fighting and he has to choose who is who. He picks the wrong one. And Donna is screaming and screaming begging not to be left behind and the duplicate is approaching the Doctor like she’s going to eat him and then he says “your arms are too long” and expels her and grabs actual Donna, and they hug and huddle against each other at the foot of the console and it was all very HARROWING.

Eventually, he asks her if she can see his memories from those 15 years, but she can’t, it’s gone. She asks him to tell her what really happened, what he went through, but true to 10 form, he doesn’t. He may be more human, but not enough to reveal how even more broken he is. She asks him if he’s okay and he says he will be, “in a million years.” But no matter what form the Doctor is in, I doubt that will ever happen.
Meanwhile, here’s what most of us are waiting for - when they get back to the earth, the exact spot they’d flown away from, Donna flings the doors open and there’s Wilf, waiting. Like he always was. And the way the Doctor reacts to him, “Wilfred Mott! Ohhh, now I feel better. Now nothing is wrong, nothing in the whole wide world! Hello, me old soldier!” is so SWEET.
Wilf’s face, seeing the Doctor again. He’s 94 and he had to lie to Donna for YEARS about what she’d been through and all that he knows, and he never thought he’d lay eyes on the Doctor again. It’s devastating, but even more so, because after the scene was shot, Bernard Cribbins fucking died. So yeah, everyone is sobbing.
But there really isn’t time for that, turns out that people are just randomly attacking each other in the street and Wilf says everyone’s gone mad and it’s the end of the WORLD so they pull him into the TARDIS and off they go.
Woof, y’all. It was a lot. But also a perfectly encapsulated Doctor/Donna romp in the middle of bigger things, and I just love all of it. I would watch the two of them run around together until the end of time. I think we all would. The final episode is gonna break me, but oooh weee it’s been a good ride so far.

Beck and Call
https://archiveofourown.org/works/52784653 by BeaconHillsBound In the tumultuous world of AlphaGuard, Derek Hale grapples with the demanding role of an Alpha Assistant to the enigmatic Omega CEO, Stiles Stilinski. Stiles, a prodigious self-made billionaire, exudes brilliance but also proves to be an exceedingly challenging figure. Derek, devoted yet grappling with the restraints of his Alpha nature, navigates the unrelenting demands of Stiles' persona and the peculiar dynamics of an Omega-dominated corporate landscape. Their interaction, filled with tension and power play, exposes the underlying complexities between Alpha and Omega dynamics. Derek finds himself in a paradoxical relationship with Stiles, where antagonism intertwines with an unspoken acknowledgment of mutual respect, leaving Derek unsure of his place within AlphaGuard yet recognizing an odd connection with his unyielding Omega boss. Hi! I hope you did well on your finals.
I’m wondering if there are any fics where Stiles still has part of void? Like he’s not possessed by him anymore but he still has powers and can get that evil dark like look. Maybe like a hunter they’d to fuck with the pack and stiles voids out and it scares the pack and hunters, something similar like that.
Thank you 🎄
Sure.

You're Telling Me... That Stiles Can Fight? by OhanaHoku
(13/? I 9,401 I Teen I Stalia)
Then he heard it. Felt it. A dark whisper somewhere in the back of his subconscious.
You know how to fight.
Robber Foxes (Have No Fears) by RayShippouUchiha
(5/? I 14,713 I Mature I Steter)
In the end all Stiles really has left is his dad, a lonely house, the key and deed to the loft, and a chest filled up with emptiness.
A void, yawning right behind his sternum.
That and the laughter of a fox trapped right beneath his skin, echoing in the hollows of his skull, whispering behind his teeth.
Stiles should have known it wasn’t over.
Magic stains everything it touches after all.
Don't (You) Forget About Me by LauraHaleIsABaddass2K21
(8/8 I 17,014 I Teen I Sterek)
"What the hell is a Stiles?"
*
Stiles' fingers shook as she sent the text - possibly the last words she would ever communicate to anyone. Stiles wanted to believe it was a good plan, that it would work, but that lingering doubt in the back of her head made her dizzy with nausea. This might be it.
Well, at least it's not something stupid like tripping down the stairs, because really, that was a bullshit way to go.
The lightning marks were fading, and it was waking up, and she could hear them coming. Well, shit. It was now or never.
Or: The ghost riders came earlier, and Stiles is a BAMF
Actual Wolves in California by fireflystiles (cuddlehazz)
(9/9 I 17,963 I General I Sterek)
Stiles sees a wolf in the woods and takes off running before his brain catches up with the situation.
Sparks and shadows by Nival_Vixen
(7/7 I 21,503 I Mature I Sterek)
Stiles has to figure out a way to maintain a balance between his spark and the darkness inside of him.
Pulling the Pieces Together by fireflystiles (cuddlehazz)
(1/1 I 34,295 I Teen I Sterek)
“You never have hurt anyone. Not then and not now. You just made Coach piss his pants and that’s funny shit there.” Jackson told Stiles. They all underestimated how responsible Stiles felt for the Nogitsune and what happened. No wonder he was afraid to go near the pack, not to mention the whole no control over magic thing. He felt Stiles huff out a breath at the part about Coach which was a good start.
Or after the Nogitsune, Stiles keeps secrets, there are new people in Beacon Hills, and the Pack has fallen apart. Stiles starts to figure out his role in the pack, piecing it back together, and trying to keep everyone safe.
Time, Pressure and Time (Are All It Takes to Blow the Mine) by ADayDreamingDream (orphan_account), LittleRedRoamingWolf (orphan_account)
(16/16 I 35,890 I Mature I Sterek)
Stiles leaves after the Nogitsune wakes latent Shadow Kitsune abilities that have been trapped inside Stiles and is now fighting with his Spark for control. With his life and those around him in danger because of the internal conflict Stiles feels that it is no longer safe to stay in Beacon Hills.
If You’re Going Through Hell (Keep Going) by orphan_account
(20/20 I 48,544 I Teen I Sterek)
Stiles thought everything leading up to Allison’s death was hell, but he was wrong. Spending senior year dealing with the pack’s dismissal of him while secretly training to be Deaton’s replacement was hell. Feeling guilty and hating himself for what the Nogitsune did was hell. Being in love with someone who would never love him back was hell. Well, if you’re going through hell, keep going.
Seeds of the Nemeton by Endraking
(35/35 I 93,991 I Teen I Stisaac)
Post Season 3/ Season 4 AU. Stiles stumbles into a world of danger separate from the pack but with Isaac and Ethan as they fight a different threat to Beacon Hills.

I’m back! Any characters you loathe entirely? And on the reverse, any side characters you enjoy being more present? Kira, Lydia, the Sheriff, etc…
🎄🎅🏼🎄🎅🏼🎄🎅🏼🐺🎅🏼🎄
I'm actually pretty ambivalent about most characters in Teen Wolf, aside from Peter and Stiles. The only character in the main cast that I really have a problem with is Scott, so I prefer tropes like bad friend!Scott and bad alpha!Scott, or if that's not your thing, then just keeping him in the background or not writing him in at all is also fine. I guess I'm also not a huge fan of the Sheriff either, but I've read fics portraying him in both positive and negative lights, so it's up to you. Same with all the others, I do like Lydia&Stiles' dynamic when they're bamf friends, and I don't read a lot of stuff with Kira but I like her well enough when she isn't attached to Scott.
You said etc. so I guess I'll tack on a couple things that come to mind. I have a soft spot for the Argents (Allison and Chris) if you want to do something with them (but also completely fine with yeeting them into the sun lol). Also you mentioned Isaac in your last ask, and while he is still either/or for me, I've been poking at Stiles&Isaac friendship in my wips recently so that could be fun. And uhh I should add that I never really got into any of the pack members that joined after Malia, so I don't dislike most of them (with the exception of Theo) but I'm not at all invested in them either lmao.
But basically, outside of Scott, Theo, and maybe the Sheriff, I'm perfectly okay with however you want to write the rest.

Okay but what about an au where Sterek is the same age and married and Derek has to go to Beacon Hills alone because Laura disappeared on them and Stiles has a job to do (he's kinda a supernatural PI and has a firm) and when Derek finds Laura's body he immediately calls Stiles and Stiles immediately leaves the job for one of his investigators and goes straight to Beacon Hills and when he gets there he finds his husband trying to train a werewolf puppy (Isaac) but having like zero success, so he's just like "Sourwolf, lemme handle this, okay?" and Isaac is so confused like "Who are you? Where did you come from? Who the fuck is Sourwolf?" and Stiles is like "I'm Derek's husband and also a supernatural PI, so I know what I'm doing here. And Sourwolf is how I call my husband." and Derek is just like "Seriously, babe? Did you really have to?" Stiles just shrugs and says "I'll handle the puppy training for you, you'll go and grief properly, OK? 'Cause I'm pretty sure you're just pretending to be fine. I promise you we'll find who did this to her, okay? I'm a PI, after all."

Link To The Fic
This is one of my all time favorite Sterek fics (I love magic realism in any fandom so you'll probably see a lot of that in all my recs tbh). I think I've read this fic upwards of 10 times and counting.
