The moment Eddie gave Steve his vest he claimed him in front of EVERYONE!

The same vest that he probably wouldn’t have given to anybody else. It’s the fact that he took it off so fast right in the middle of a romantic moment between Steve and Nancy almost as if to say a nonverbal (Nope! Stop that right now, he’s mine)

The subtle power move in that moment, I know Eddie felt so proud that he got Steve to where his vest you can’t tell me otherwise.
