did you just create an AU in the tags that I'm obsessed with again? *surprised pikachu face* I just can't get it out of my head that yes, Anakin is now being seen with a random senator but eventually obi-wan just starts crashing those public outings and now everyone is wondering if the senator is cheating on anakin with obi-wan or something like that

(in reference to these tags about some sort of "bearding" au:

#but also thinking about it#i can see a gffa au where anakin has to have a beard#because there are just so many rumors that obikin are togethre#and people are up in arms about it because he was his teacher!!! and the age difference!!!! power dynamics!!!!#(obikin are not together)#so the council asks anakin to be seen on the arm of some woman or another to prove that he isn't into obi-wan#but secretly anakin is VERY into obi-wan#and secretly obi-wan is really sort of bothered by anakin being seen on some senator's arm#(not padmé though sorry)#though obi-wan doesn't quite know why#(he does but he's like 12 steps from admitting it)#obikin#did i create an au in the tags yeah. yeah i did.#people forget that's how the couples counseling au started lol )

nooo omg obi-wan starts crashing the get-togethers even the "romantic opera" dates and he talks the entire time and anakin, who is in love with obi-wan and only agreed to this bearding thing because he feels guilty that his feelings for obi-wan may jeopardize the man's public standing, can't help but turn to listen to everything and a space pap snags a photo of anakin contorting his body unnaturally to tilt around this random senator to listen to Obi-Wan talk.

and later when asked about the pictures, anakin is like 'um he was talking about the jedi code....'

but everyone is making up wild theories about threesomes and infidelity and someone asks obi-wan at a press conference to address the rumors that he has invited himself into bed with his former padawan and the senator and immediately obi-wan is like 'hah! like i'd share him if i had him!' and then immediately (x2) is like 'wait sorry i meant to say someone like him' but the damage is done.

Touchy subject

"The 501st was one of the best legions during the war. I've lost a lot of good men over the years - some of them would have given even you Mandos a run for your credits. And my general... My general was a good man too, but that's enough of that, I thought you were too old for bedtime stories by now."

Din just tried to figure out what the colour of the clones' armor paint meant, and why he's never heard Rex mention his CO during all the wartime stories and lectures; whereas he's already got to meet Wolffe and his general and even heard Cody mention his every once in a blue moon. (Special thanks to @witchydom for helping with the "dialogue" :3)

I'll take a bit of your time to give a bit of an explanation why I decided to put Rex in Skelly's spot:

During a playthrough when I was looking for screenshots to use as backgrounds the first thing that greeted me was Zagreus calling Skelly "Captain" upon entering the armoury, or whatever that chamber is called. And that really decided it, let's be honest. Rex is Captain, and that is the Captain's spot. End of story.

Reading "still got it" by qigiined even before I got into watching TCW was such a personality defining experience (seriously, this fic lives forever rent free in my brain), that I really had no other option but to put the few clones that I'm willing to work into this AU somewhere around home base (the covert) - so you can guess where Cody and Wolffe are situated. Or will be, hopefully soon enough. Rex needs to be able to hang out with Cody, that's just how it is. (Rebels and TBB canon who?)

Rex deserves to teach some uppity Mando bounty hunters and other warriors who think too much of themselves a few lessons in humility and some crafty tricks. I think it would be very good for him.

As a throwaway note since we are already under the read more section, I've been thinking about sigils and keepsakes (trinkets) and cthonic companions (I know that over a year ago I inaccurately but very self indulgently designed one for Din, Boba and Cobb, that is not the point now) and while Cody can have one shaped like Boga, and Wolffe can obviously get a stuffed loth wolf (and Bo-Katan a very squishy owl)... I have no idea what shaped companion Rex could have. If anyone has any suggestions and would love to share it with me, I'd be very grateful!

I’m hoping on board the MLP Infection AU trend. Here is mine!

Starswirl the Bearded accidentally created the virus. Parabite.

He heard and learned of more modern and ancient creatures, finding out about the parasprites. He read of their swarms of damage, seeing as they cause distruction no matter where they go. He wanted to create a symbiotic relationship between ponies and parasprits.

He tested on animals first, then, his first pony.

They had a deal that Phillip will free Collector after he will find his brother and get his revenge on witches (they fucked him at some point so now it’s even more personal, he hates witches so hard) but Collie is being purposefully VERY annoying, SO ANNOYING that at some point Phillip reall considered an option to get rid of the mirror but, luckily for Collie, he was too useful.

HE IS A CUNT YOUR HONOR

And that is how Phillip lost his beard hehe. Before Phillip lost his memory’s and became like we know him now he was a giant ASSHOLE and their relationship with Collie were pretty toxic cus this grumpy angry man didn’t really cared much about anything besides his goals. Happily it changed later :3

and obi-wan is like 'i just wanted to make sure everyone knew. anakin needs to be cherished. now that the jedi are allowing for open romantic love between my padawan and' (checks notecards) 'Hielona' ('it's helena,' the senator cuts in, goes ignored) 'then i just wanted to set the record straight. if my FORMER apprentice were in MY bed, i wouldn't be able to share. to be frank, i had a hard time sharing when he was my apprentice. i wanted to be his only teacher. it was the sort of focus he needed to flourish.'

and all the press go wild and now half of coruscant thinks obi-wan definitely was taking advantage of his baby pupil and one reporter is like 'obi-wan, obi-wan, what do you mean??'

and obi-wan is like, taking a sip of red wine, 'well, to be frank i never liked the times supreme chancellor palpatine would insist upon my padawan's presence, alone. unchaperoned. for no academic reason i have ever been able to think of.'

(anakin, red in the face, is like 'well he took me to the opera when i was twelve.'

obi-wan, switching from red wine to sparkling, preparing for a long awaited victory, 'that's right. and when you were thirteen. and twice when you were fourteen. that must have been educational, as now you and Hielona' ('it's really Helena--') 'go there quite often on romantic excursions don't you. a romantic place, the opera can be. depending on your.....proclivities.')

there's an uproar. there's also an investigation into supreme chancellor palpatine's relationship with an underage anakin skywalker.

when i saw the prompt webs & weaving i immediately thought about web!martin weaving spiderweb into jon's hair -- unbeknownst to jon who is just too blissed out by getting his hair touched, and apparently too asleep to notice his boyfriend has four hands (and also the, uh, spiders). the progression of gray in his hair is just subtle enough that jon can't make the connection which is perfect for martin who needs to keep track of him

Jon is a thin Persian man with medium length, curly dark hair and a beard, all hair streaked with gray. Martin is a fat mixed Polish/Korean man with shaggy dark hair, a streak of white in one of his bangs, and several beauty marks on his skin. 1st image: Jon lays asleep on top of Martin's chest, his head nuzzled into the crook of Martin's neck.
