I don't generally share my planners or planner setups anymore, but I filmed a little setup video of this @kikki.k planner that I'm using to keep track of my blog/social content. I wanted to see if I could put and keep myself on a regular schedule. I don't have a regular 9-5 job and I generally work from home for myself with my shop and channel--and sometimes a freelance gig too.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Last year I noticed that I spent A LOT of time doing absolutely nothing because I was working for myself. I didn't have structure and I basically created my stuff whenever I felt like creating...which is not good. It's nice to create when you want, but I've found that long periods of procrastinating on creating led to me feeling uninspired and unmotivated to do anything. It's like they say, "inspiration needs to find you working," and I was just not working like I was supposed to. I have a small part time job that gets me out of the house two days a week, but for the rest of the week I really needed to put myself on some sort of schedule.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And so enters this planner. I keep a content calendar in here so I know what is due when and what I need to be working on. I gave myself a goal of one video a week with blog post as all. And even though I have the calendar, I still made it so I could move things around if I thought of something new I wanted to share. So far this system is working out great. I'm ahead of schedule on all the things that I sometimes forget I scheduled this or that. This setup video for instance was filmed in October so there you go! Today I would like to give some advice to schoolchildren and students ⠀ Here they are: ⠀ Learn a foreign language. As a base, English and Chinese are suitable. It may seem boring and unnecessary (as it seemed to me), but take time to do it regularly. ⠀ This will set you apart from the rest in your student and school years, not to mention your further career and the benefits of learning languages for the brain. ⠀ • ⠀ Studying is the best investment in your life. I studied at the university for 6 years, and now I study at least once a year and regularly read books. ⠀ This process may also seem boring, but believe the adult Andrei, it pays off - in your horizons, expanding your worldview, erudition and having professional skills. ⠀ And do not forget about the development of the brain through study: it’s like going to the gym, only for the head. ⠀ • ⠀ Choose your place of study carefully. If possible, do not let anyone crush. It is your years that will be spent on it, not parental. ⠀ My parents suggested that I get a financial education, but I went to the mechanics and do not regret it, thanks to my studies, I met my future wife. Although I honestly googled before submitting documents, how much mechanics get - it turned out, not enough - but even with this information I decided that self-expression is more important. ⠀ And after the first education, I got a second education - a graphic designer. ⠀ • ⠀ Be proactive. Even if laziness and everything around, on the contrary, avoid unnecessary gestures. #saturdayvibes . . Thought it was time to share my current #plannerstack. The system I have set up right now is working really well for me. See, my brain compartmentalizes everything.. the big picture is broken into small parts.. I separate each part out, into a separate planner, and work on those things separately, so that I focus on only that particular thing at any given time.
