Aahhh it's been 2 years since my last mp100 calendar project. I really didn’t think it would take this long to complete this new one, but I wanted to take my time to make sure I can really put in the love that this series deserves ;-;

one of my favourite things about haikyuu (and sports anime in general) is the feeling of being in high school and living your day to day with those who are chasing the same dream with you, together. So although this is a haikyuu fanwork calendar, I've put a lot of my feelings about adolescence into it which I hope can be felt universally.

I hope you will be reminded of that springtime SEISHUN feeling of youth throughout 2024 with this calendar !!

hi! i've got one sketchpage slot open for €250!! (all my examples happen to be guild wars 2 sylvari because that's just what i have pages and pages of lmao, but these are open for any type of character.)

these will be 1500x1125px at 300dpi, the amount of drawings will depend on number of characters/level of detail you want (more detail/more figures = fewer drawings), but there will always be at least two color busts. the extra character fee in my general comm terms doesn't apply to these!

I made another poor monetary decision, and now have two beautiful babies with a tight range and the possibility for beautiful children. These two are Raimi and Mortis, a Gen 1 duo with the potential for some really solid offspring.

I will, most likely, be breeding them no matter what, the question is, should I leave them a pure Nocturne pair, or make Mortis (male) a wildclaw. It would lengthen their nesting wait times, but would offer the possibility of pure g2 wildclaws on both sides which idk if people care about but I want more pretty claws in the world.

They'll likely nest in Shadow, arcane and Light when they go to breed with a heavy preference for shadow.

hiiiii i'm so excited/terrified/stoked to be doing my first pass of real revisions for Conversion, my novel that was intended to be about murder and turned into a heartwarming tale about friendships surviving trauma, and that means i'll be seeking out alpha readers soon!!

i'm looking for a handful of readers interested in giving me high-level notes on the story, character arcs, and major plot elements. based on my current timeline, i would hope to have the draft in your hands sometime in october and receive your feedback by the end of december (especially considering i would assume the majority of people who would alpha read would also probably be the same ones doing nanowrimo, lol).

more details are available here in my interest form (including a list of things that may be turn-offs), but here is a synopsis:

Conversion is an 87,000 word litfic faux-memoir about a fictional artist named Rose Finney. She writes the story of her time at Abbadon University in its eclectic MFA program, particularly her experiences working with Marlene Altman, whose controversies have spurred her to write her memoir. She examines, in hindsight, the ways Marlene employed strategies of coercive control to manipulate her students into deep psychological vulnerability, and the ways the friendships of the women in her cohort were expanded, deepened, or shattered by Marlene's actions.

it's not nearly as transgressive, dark, or violent as my usual work, tbh. i read The Things We Do to Our Friends at around the time i wrote it, and if you've read it, it's super similar to that -- but with a less violent ending.

So I got a new job working in York and we need to move. We’re going to be moving to Leeds as York is waaaaay too expensive and staying in Hull is impractical for travel (would be around 2-3 hours every day on the trains and about £400 a month for a rail season ticket). As it stands, we’re gonna need about £1500 to cover the initial rent and deposit of the place we’ve found and have applied for. As our current landlord didn't require a deposit, we won't even be getting anything back at the end of the tenancy.

As with most of my other pairs, these three ladies are among some of the ONLY in their color/species- their family lines can be run directly back to my hatchery- the ONLY aethers in their colors are from Hannibal and Clarice, and there's only ONE other sandsurge unrelated to Needles and Pins in the two colors they produce- which should imply I have very specific tastes but I'm ignoring that.
