How I think each of the Roleslaying with Roman characters came out/would come out (pt 1 cuz I’m not doing all of them in one post, we’d be here all day)

Roman: put it off for weeks due to nerves but eventually sat Ryker and Aunt Patty down to tell them. 100% cried. Ryker and Patty were obviously supportive (and decided not to mention that they’d already known for years now)

Ryker: same as Roman, was ridiculously nervous while simultaneously trying to act calm and nonchalant. First person he told was Aunt Patty who just smiled at him and said she’s proud of him, which made Ryker smile too and well up a bit

Aunt Patty: never officially came out but is open about it and always gonna be the best advocate for the queer kids she raises

Youngblood: identity is very much on a need to know basis. Noise was the only person he ever “came out” to. That “coming out” in question being those 2 sharing their first kiss with each other.

Burgundy Red: just brings it up casually and if people have a problem with it, she very much has a “that sounds like a you problem” attitude. She’s too busy running a bakery to care about other peoples opinions of her and her identity and that’s pretty dope of her honestly

Dorian: it’s my personal theory/headcanon that Dorian was a pirate and historically speaking, pirates were pretty gay😂 so Dorian kinda just grew up not really knowing anything different so coming out wasn’t ever necessary

Ten Penny Samuel: is the token straight of the town

Fast Timmy: “this is who I am and I don’t care what you think about it!” He yelled despite very much caring what they think, being seconds away from a panic attack and also being surrounded by people who love them unconditionally and will tell him that as soon as he stops yelling/monolouging😂

Melle Vinne: tries to act tough so people don’t notice how nervous she is. Fails miserably at this but the attempt was there😅

Henderson: didn’t know how to tell people so he went to Burgundy Red who made him a coming out cake

Roleslaying with Roman: thoughts and theories

im rewatching RSwR and I noticed some things I had to share.

in Episode 1:

when roman and youngblood are interrogating fast Timmy at the well, Timmy briefly mentions ( around the 39:00 mark in the video)

FT:" I've never stolen from that place, I've tried so many times. always get turned into a goat.

R: "you got turned into a goat?"

FT: "I wasnt talking about that..."

so that implies that burgundy red has access to some sort of magic to transform people ( possibly only into goats, idk.), and then they're forced to work for her.

so maybe Fast Timmy's gang used to be larger until one ( or two, depending on if Youngblood actually saw the second one) were caught trying to steal and transformed.

Side note: idk if it's just how Aj portrayed burgundy, but I sensed something slightly ominous about them. so maybe red is a secret villain?
