Look, I'm too lazy right now to go back and pull up the direct scenes, but that was never stated, it is heavily implied Dazai gave Verlaine the information after they had already died, and if you look at this post by @/popopretty, you'll see that Chuuya only punishes Dazai for doctoring the intel so that he got tortured and Murase died. There is no mention of the Flags.

Art challenge for everyone in the stp fandom! We're given a general idea of what the Long Quiet looks like by the end, and he's sort of his own character, so I see him drawn the same way consistently.

But he's also a player character, whose decisions, experiences, and personality are all shaped by who the person behind the computer is! The princess, the voices, the narrator- they speak to you as much as they speak to a fictitious person, if not more.

So draw your long quiet persona- what you imagine the princesses and the narrator to see when you enter that basement.

the obvious reaction to that valentine is "holy shit that's gaster". because of the whole "it's more or less completely unintelligible" thing (wingdings), and "HOW IS DELTA RUNE". and there's no other characters who we've met --- yet --- who it really makes sense for it to be.

but. i think it's fair to not take it as 100% confirmed. at least, to not take it as confirmed that this is the same gaster we've been hearing from up to this point. because, and maybe this is just the english / creative writing major in me talking, the writing style is a little bit off.

specifically, the cadence of it, and the use of commas. if you look at entry 17, or the twitter takeovers, or the gonermaker sequence... gaster hardly ever uses commas, and never (if i remember correctly) to end or break up a clause in the way that the valentine writer does.

it's a small thing, yes. but it has a significant impact on the Vibe. enough that i'm not certain of this yet. which is why i'd love to hear someone break down the japanese translation of it and compare it to the (other) gaster text in japanese that we have.

#galarian slowpoke #picture this. this was the first pokémon revealed from the new DLCs for pokémon sword and shield. the pokémon company #up until this point‚ has never done DLC for a pokémon game before. you‚ having been jaded by shitty DLCs for other games in the past #now have a distaste for the phrase‚ and imagine this can't be good. then‚ in their teaser for the new DLC‚ they add a little event #into the game where they reveal one of the new pokémon that is going to be added in the DLC #and it is a galarian form. that is identical to the original pokémon. but with a yellow head #are you imagining it. now how fucking disappointed are you. how little faith do you have in that DLC that it's going to be as good as it wa #for the most part‚ the pokémon company has demonstrated that they do absolutely excellent DLCs. proper expansions #basically an entire other game on top of the game you already have. and they typically take up the release cycle of a full game #scarlet/violet's especially.
