My favorite thing about Tumblr polls is that I can use them to quell my internal debating by putting the majority of my decision-making process on literally anyone else.

I've started a Bio Dad AU that involves a good bit of backstory and a lot of twisty turns that have required me to do a lot of plotting. It's getting really convoluted at this point, and I'm thinking I would really like to make it a No Powers AU as well. But I also feel bad about leaving out the powers (Even though I ADORE reading No Power AUs!)

In trouble again? - Sturniolo little sister oneshot

Quick backstory behind this oneshot:

When Y/n was 14, her 19 year old older triplet brothers moved to LA. Upsetting her for a while, hard not seeing them around the house.

But after a lot of convincing, when Y/n turned 15, Marylou and Jimmy agreed to let her move in with them.

Obviously, nick, chris, and matt were okay with it.

You may wonder how a girl fit in with three boys, well it was easy for her.

Nick was the one she’d go too for boys, about her period (since he bought her pads and what she needed when she was on it), she'd go to Nick about a breakup, literally about anything that Matt and Chris would freak out about if she told them.

Then Chris was the one she’d go to if she needed too laugh, needed a hug, (chris gives really good ones), He always found a way too make her laugh, even when she was crying. Although when y/n was crying chris usually got emotional with her, so they cried and laughed together.

Now Matt, matt was the one she’d go too for a lot of things. Anxiety was a big one, she had a lot, so she usually asked for tips and stuff. Y/n also gets frustrated, annoyed, anything negative really easily, (like matt) so she usually went to Matt to calm down and take a breath. Y/n also usually slept with Matt, much like chris she hated sleeping alone, so she usually slept with, matt, but occasionally with math and chris because chris was usually found in matt’s bed.

Y/n also gets in trouble at school a lot! (Bad y/n)

I walked inside my house with yet another write up i got this week, it's only thursday and this is my third write up this week, (new record by the way) this time was for yelling at my math teacher how she didn't know how to teach. She seriously doesn't because if she did would not have a D- in her class right now.

"Is anyone home?" I yelled out, kicking my shoes off and throwing my bag down.

I see Nick walk downstairs, "Hey y/n!" He says cheerfully, "Matt and Chris went to return the jeans you didn't like and Chris wanted to go to get a new sweatshirt or something." Nick smiled before his eyes trail down to my hand. He let's out a sigh, "Y/n...Please tell me.." He trails off, his voice filled with disapointment.

I look down at the paper too, "Umm.." I clear my throat, "Sorry I thought they would've called or at least texted you guys already. My bad. Now can you please sign it before Matt gets home?" I pleaded, handing the paper to Nick for him to sign. Matt was the worst one for when i got in trouble, he changes a lot. He's like all sweet and then his face gets red with anger. It's scary.

Nick took the paper and grabbed a pen from the kitchen table, "I'll sign it, but they took Matt's number down. So there is no doubt he got that call or text." Nick says, signing the paper with his signature like it said too do. I let out a groan as nicks eyes glanced over the quick explanation of what happened.

"You went off on your math teacher?" Nick scoffed.

"I already told Ms.Reel I don't play! She kept testing me, literally and figuratively. She tried givin' me a pop quiz like I was 'bouta do all that. Yeah no thanks." I defended. Grabbing a water from the fridge and sitting down at the island.

"What exactly did you say, n/n?" Nick asked, giving me the now signed paper.

"All i said was, 'I'm not doing this.' and when she asked why I said 'because why would i take a pop quiz from a teacher that teaches like she graduated at the university of nowhere.' and when she told me to go to the office i said, 'gladly, i'd rather have 6 months of detention then ever come back too this bootlegged not teachin us nothin' classroom. And then i got kicked out." I explained.

Matt signed the one i got on monday for going off on a girl for making fun of my friend. He told me it was okay and that i was sticking up for somebody i cared about.

The one i got on tuesday was for walking out of the classroom when my science teacher didn’t let me go to the bathroom but let a boy out when he asked. Chris signed that one for me, Matt found out about it, i didn’t know they had his number, he was upset but he said as long as i didn’t get another one it’s fine.

So after this one i am definitely getting yelled at by Matt.

The front door opens and i hear muttering, sounding like bickering.

“Wait, i left my jacket in the car, can you go get it?” I hear Chris ask Matt.

I then hear Matt mutter something along the lines of, “You fucking idiot” before walking away.

Chris then speed walks into the kitchen, “Y/n, you seriously messed up. Matt was already in a bad mood since he woke up, and then at the mall workers were giving him shit for trying to return your jeans without the tags on them, and then he got a call about how you got in trouble. So you’re actually fucked.”

My eyes widened, “Um- yeah i’m just gonna go up-” I start to walk away but bump into Matt.

“Just the person i was looking for!” Matt says. sarcastically, his arms crossing as he stands in front of me.

“Go sit, now.” He demands. I rub my forehead and nod, sitting at the kitchen table.

Matt sits down next to me and grabs the write up slip, “Nick signed it already? That’s great.” Matt continues with the sarcasm.

“Don’t bring me into this!” Nick puts his hands up in defense as him and Chris are watching us.

Matt then gives nick and chris a look that makes them both go to their rooms.

Great.

I take a breath in before starting to talk as Matt reads the write up slip, “So on a scale of 1-10 how mad-”

“Don’t even finish that sentence, y/n.” He grits out.

I nod and bite my lip, i’m really fucking scared.

“You can’t- why would you- who even- where- what- the fuck!?” Matt stutters.

“I don’t even know what to say, y/n! This is the third one this week! It’s thursday! There are only five days in a school week! It shouldn’t be this hard to stay out of trouble!” Matt yells.

“I’m sorry i just-” I get cut off.

“No! You don’t just do anything, you can’t just do something like this and keep getting away with it. You don’t need to be acting like this.” Matt says, putting his head in his hands.

“I also don’t need your opinion, i mean why are you even getting so mad? Nick and Chris don’t care this much.” I say, nice going y/n.

Matt scoffs. “Go to your room.”

“But-”

“Now!” He yells.

“Whatever!” I scoff and get up, literally stomping to my room.

10:16pm

It’s been 8 whole hours since i last talked to Matt.

Which was crazy, Nick and Chris came in to ask me how i was doing but i just shrugged, i got to keep my phone so i was doing alright.

I get another knock on my door, expecting it to be Matt, i quickly say, “Come in!” But it’s Chris. I love him but i lay back down, scrolling on my phone.

He walks up and sits on my bed, rubbing my shoulder.

“I think you should talk to Matt.” Chris says, his voice soft and welcoming.

“He doesn’t wanna talk to me. He’s made it clear, we haven’t talked since the argument.” I sniffle, i was so upset.

“He does wanna talk to you, but he’s stubborn also, so he is not gonna be the first one to say something. If you go and apologize, and really mean it, like not just go in there because i told you too, then he will appreciate it and say sorry too. I promise.” Chris says as i sit up.

I put my pinky out, “Pinky promise?” I whisper.

He interlocks our pinkies, “Pinky promise.” He confirms.

I nod as he leaves my room, about 5 minutes pass and i decide to get up too.

I knock on Matt’s door, I hear some shuffling before the door starts to open, “Nick how many times-” Matt starts but stops when he sees me.

“N/n.” He says, his voice was much softer.

“Matt- i’m so sorry for getting in trouble and i’m sorry for saying that you get too and and it’s just schools been really hard and i hate it and everyone’s annoying and i don’t know what to do and i-” I sob but get cut off when Matt pulls me in for a tight hug.

“Okay, calm down baby.” He whispers, his fingers going through my hair.

I sob into his chest, that’s all it was. Stress and being overwhelmed.

“Shh..” Matt hushed, bringing me into his room with his arms still wrapped around me, kicking the door shut with his foot and bringing me to sit down on his bed.

“Y/n, listen.” He pulls away from the hug.

“You’re right, i have been harsher than normal, but that’s only because i want you to succeed, you’re in highschool! You are growing up so fast and i want the best for you. And i’m sorry that i’m not the fun one all the time. I’ll try, but if i try you have to promise that you will too, and if you’re ever feeling upset or down that you’ll talk to me.” Matt comforts.

I nod and wipe my nose with my sleeve.

“Can i sleep in here tonight?” I ask.

Matt laughs, “Of course you can.”

Cannibal slashers with an s/o who's ok with eating human meat

Bubba Sawyer

He's a little surprised at how comfortable you are with eating human meat right away, but he's happy that you're doing it. Since you're so comfortable with eating human meat there aren't going to be too many issues for awhile.

Since you're so comfortable with eating human meat Drayton will probably ask you to help in the kitchen from time to time. If you don't know how to cook you'll learn from him. But if you don't want to handle the meat that's fine, he'll find something else for you to do.

Bubba is a little disapointed that you're not comfortable with killing people but he kind of understands because he assumes your reason are like Draytons. As long as you don't get in the way of their killing he's fine with you not participating.

If you just don't want to be around all of the screaming and intense situations of "the hunt" Bubba will find a way to keep you occupied outside or somewhere where you won't hear all of the noise.

Thomas Hewitt

Like with Bubba it's a good thing you're fine with eating human meat. His family might not believe that you're actually comfortable with eating human meat until you prove to them that you are.

It's also a good thing that you're fine with all of the killing. The more accepting you are of what the Hewitt do the more pleasant they'll be, at least as pleasant as they can be with other people.

Since you don't want to participate in the hunt or the killing Thomas will keep you out of the basement unless it's necessary for you to be down there or it's cleaned up.

Also I'd assume if you're a woman/ fem presenting the family will expect you to help in the kitchen, Hoyt more than anyone else will expect that but if you're bad with cooking they'll make sure you don't cook.

Hannibal Lecter

He'll wait awhile before breaking the news to you that he's been feeding you human meat, unless you figure it out on your own. But he's happy that you're not against continuing to eat human meat.

Hannibal will talk more openly about his cannibalism with you and ask you how different meats taste to you. He could go on four hours about his different preparation for different parts of the body.

He always does his killing for food by himself so you'll never have to worry about him asking you to join him on the hunt. He may ask you about rude people that you've encountered lately and such but he's never asking you to join him in killing someone.

He's also thankful you're not against him killing people. If you don't ask about him killing people then he won't tell you about the details. But if you're interested in the details then he's happy to talk about them with you.

Yes!! Yes please I love talking about my stupid ideas-

Gonna start off with the school love intrests because they're easy and I know them the most. ( But if you want me to get to some real heavy hitters like outside love intrest baliey harper and that let me know)

First off of course there's kylar and he's kinda your classic yandare trope stereotypical in every way. Obsessive stalker vibes. But honestly I think he could be really amped up if he was more aggressive. He's got a real OwO soft boy ascetic and a need to be acknowledged that's nice and the jealousy meter is a nice touch but I'm disapointed that he seems to give up really easily.

Whitney just beats him up in the caf and he folds like a paper bag. When your alone he watches you but doesn't aproch. He kidnapps you one time. Then if you decide to ditch him and keep up with your regular shenanigans he doesn't even try again??

Like he's a little lack luster. His pathetic deminer is cute and all but he's supposed to be a ride or die type and he's not delivering to well. But he's still an yan so that's good.

Talked about syd in the other post so I'll leave it for now.

Robin has some real platonic yandare stuff going on and at high confidence he has some real obsessed with keeping you stuff going on. I feel like theyll never reach violent yandare statice like the other characters even when pushed but they have this vibe about them that I never really could shake off.

Robin cares about your life and everything personal about you. They want you to be safe and perfect. And in connection to you they also want to be perfect. Like childhood sweethearts.

Robin is always clawing for a way to never sexualy exploit anyone. They're a big fan of concent but it doesn't mean he won't go behind your back to make sure you're taking care of yourself. Robin is pretty soft for a yandare but something is telling me that they're biding their time a bit. Even if it takes a while.

Lastly whitney- I'm a big fan so this is gonna be biased but whitney is a violent yan bossed with power dynamics and you as the player. He's constantly showing off infront of students and even his friends that he has access to you at any time. Some of his scenes even say so. Like when he cornners you in a class room with his friends and tells you "don't worry they won't touch you I told them not too" or when you're dragged into a class room against your will and one of the students points out that your Whitney's property. And they scurry off.

Whitney also comes to the orphanage and offers to buy you. Like this dude is obsessed with the idea of owning you. Physicly mentally and emotionally. Controlling weather your life at school is plagued by bullying or not. He controls that. And by extention you. Even when your traveling alone around the streets and he spots you your instantly cornered. He doesn't even give it a second thought. This dude is a violent yandare and I can't express it enough. I also love him.

Urusei Yatsura AU

Come up with the name myself and inspired by many animes/movies I watched (if you notice it sffsgs)

The story about Ataru and Lum, meet in a virtual world game that very popular because we can be anyone and anything. Ataru is a dancer who often asks different girls to be his partner. Often being rejected he usually dances alone even though people don't really care about him there. Then oneday he meets Lum, and alien princess who watched his dance with great interest, he asks her to dance with him and the latter says yes. This activity continues as they become closer.

In the real world, Lum is a normal high school student who goes through an ordinary day, though she feels like something is missing in her life. (and yeah, she's a human in this au)

Ataru is actually a former dancer. He loves to dance but a deadly disease stopped him. Back then he pushed himself but his body getting worse as his legs are finally gave out.

Unfortunately, they never really meet. Every discussion about meeting in real life, Ataru will always give an excuse. Lum disapointed by this and wondering what's the problem for them to meet for real, she slowly feel in love with him and she really wants to know about him despite Ataru being mysterious/not open about himself.

Ever wished that a trailer DOES lie?

Didn't come up with some clever pun or whatever to express what I want so I'll put it bluntly: Does anyone agree that new Napoleon movie looks kinda lame from the trailers?

Like the first one was like the two types of cliche trailers one after the other - with all the "boom" sounds and mach cuts, while then doing the whole "eq-so-it-sounds-distant childlike song" thing. But what I found worse is turning Napoleon into Thanos (havent seen a Marvel movie after Iron Man 3, so I might be wrong) - but all the stoic cool guy one liners and weird self-agrandising cliche uterances - only to end with putting on the Crown on himself as if it was that stupid plastic gem-gauntlet... Should just have snapped and said "France Won" and go all the way while showing the Austo-Hungary disolve.

The second trailer seems to be more of the same, with even having the Black Sabbat song to make it artsy but not to artsy. Idk maybe I'm being to harsh and hypocritical, but aften then having the love interst say "look down at my crotch - I control you with it" - I just cant take it seriously - gives me flashbacks to being a kid and seeing my dad watch game of thrones and realises that half the charachters are screwing their sister and brothers cause thats the only way to make something "Mature"...

But why am I writting a whinning post? Don't I try to make some contrived point in these? Yeah, at first I didint even want to post this, so I dont be one of these cynical movie guys, feel bad for these who now seemingly in nearly their fifties just whine about how bad hollywood is and how superheros suck while only reviewing them while their is a great new Scorsesse movie which they ignore- And instead of continuing this passive agressive attack on RLM, I better segway into my whole point: "The Killers of the Flower Moon" - A movie I recently saw and enjoyed quite a lot - surprisingly because I thought from the trailers "Yeah, Scorsee got old and is phoning it in" - cause from the trailers it just seemed like a generic by the numbers exploitation film, where victims kill their oppressors with the whole "happy ending" being both overly sweet and bitter - because how unrealistic yet saddistic it would be, even as a fantasy only leaving the reality of resentment and bloody revenge.

But thankfully, it was nothing like that - so the trailer lied, and I was happy - or more happy that even when it lied I thought "well going to the cinema with friends is more important, and why not see a scorsse movie on the big screen, if he dies, or I, soon, I'll regret it, even if it was a piece of shit..."

So maybe that's the point I'm making - maybe a very weird and pointless one - but yeah, maybe Napoleon won't be as bad as I think? Even if it is a far-cry from the Napoleon Kubric would have made, Ridley Scott is still a director with a certain esteem, and who the hell didn't like Gladiator? Even still have an old VHS with a cutot of a tv-magazine of it that my father used to tape over to just pirate the movie old schoo way lol. Still, I'm not saying to mindlessly buy and watch everything - but to just think - maybe even a disapointing movie is worth the human connection one will make (cause who goes to the movies alone?) - so if somebody says "hey lets watch it, its like if the Joker was French" - why not, maybe even it will turn out to be:

disapointment with izuku and katsuki's arc

taking in count how, even though we are told we are seeing or reading izuku's story, Bakugou ends up hijacking the narrative to make himself look good in comparison to Izuku. which is infuriating since both of them have concepts on their backstory that could make the story better. their dynamic since coming to U.A. didn't change from when they were in middle school and the narrative still tries to gaslight us that their interactions are signs of "friendship" when in reality is, has, and will be stocholm syndrome, since bakugou even when we are TOLD he changed, still demeans, insults, and has a lack of respect for Izuku as a human being that i worry for what kind of fuckery horikoshi went through in terms of relationships. the only way that the arc could have a vestige of quality would be if Izuku at the very least expresed that he resents Bakuhoe for his abuse, but hori turned his own MC into an enabler for his behaviour by trying to tell us supposedly why Izuku thinks Bakugou would be a good hero.

i mean, "bakugou's determination, "charisma", and quirk control make him hero material", no Izuku, you're listing the things you envy of him, not his "heroics qualities"

bakugou's apology? it didn't move me even a little bit, the timing for it was when Izuku was at his weakest and couldn't think straight to comprehend what the hell bakugou wanted to say, and it seems to only be there so that Izuku is shocked enough to let the last remains of adrenaline he has, fade away to pass out. the apology in and on itself was straight out excuses, excuses and more excuses that we are TOLD are what Bakugou tought about izuku, even when after hundreds of chapters of the manga we got jack shit of evidence to prove these claims.

the second fight they had? pure fan service for bakugou stans telling us that "he changed". yeah, he did, but not the ACTUAL issue that he has as a character. him calling himself weak after defeating Izuku actually defeats this claim of being weak making it worth less than shit. this could have been more gut wrenching and understandable (as awfully unnecesary as it is) if he lost to Izuku, that wasn't into the fight at all, it could have shown us izuku's strength, it could've been humiliating for katsuki, but at least this claim admitence of vulnerability could have been EARNED.

his kidnapping by the league of villains? it was only used as a plot device to tell us that bakugou wants to be the best like All might, instead of making him reflect that the villains not only choosed him for his power, he was chosen for his demeanor, behaviour, and personality being more benefitial as a villain than as a hero. he never reflects that they chose him because he's an straight out horrible person.

and one of the worst travesties of the narrative. ¿the final exams? ¿that pair up Bakugou and Izuku together because of their "rivalry"? i don't know what the hell aizawa smoked, but i need some of it to relax after having to deal with his BS reasoning.

i have two mayor problems with this particular issue:

by the context we are given by the teacher (what we are told), they are tested together because their rivalry could be dangerous if its left unatended like it was currently seen (something that should be aizawa's responsability to deal with). the problem rises when we take in count their behaviours (what we are shown) in which someone could see that the agression is completely one-sided from bakugou's side. meaning that if they're tested together, the over-all weight of the failure or success of the team is solely on Bakugou, since Izuku has no problem working with anyone since he can sinergize quite well with his skill set in analisys. this test is unfair for izuku since they are putting part of the blame of bakugou's shittiness on izuku, and these exams should show what they learned or how they react in situations outside their confort zones. my point is that it doesn't showcase anything that we haven't seen izuku acomplishing before, this test only favors bakugou.

another pair that was mismatched on this exam was shoto and momo against aizawa, since shoto's problem, while technically is an overeliance on his quirk, he's been using only half the incomplete version of it for a long time, meaning that pairing him up with aizawa is logically speaking, more counterproducent than needed

the way it should have been is: izuku and momo vs aizawa; shoto and katsuki vs All might.

for the former, izuku and momo share a similar trait at this time in canon that is self doubt of their own worth and capabilities, and with aizawa as an opponent, Izuku is reminded of his past as a quirkless individual, and can try to work around with momo about their issues regarding their positons in the hero course and how they use their quirks. izuku could acomplish passing the exam without using and start to heal from the malicious programing that make him believe his past as a quirkless has no value and can work on raising momo's self-steem and make them grow closer as friends. (also i think this is the perfect place for some Izumomo interactions)

for the latter, katsuki and shoto had the same problem that is pride on their quirks, and it has the upside of getting Katsuki the hell away from izuku's story, shoto wouldn't have the same patience izuku have towards bakugou's bullshit, and the possibility of them failing the exam despite being considered the strongest of class 1-a could be one of the biggest humble pies bakugou could recieve.

izuku and bakugou's arcs could work... as long as Izuku and him are separated. if the fics of Demonic Quirks for Dummies taughth me anything is, that with people that izuku could be open about his past as a bullyng and discrimination victim, and with a large distance away from katsuki, he can start to heal and start to see that his life has value and matters for the people that love him, not for having power, but because he is someone that affects those around him, making them wanting to be better versions of themselves, and that are willing to give the favour back. and actually having Katsuki reflect that he is a horrible person, while been humiliated for his shitty behaviour, makes their growth more palatable to enjoy.

Daddy Fig’s reaction to Em-Sea getting in a fist fight. Maybe she has a rival like Harry Potter vs Malfoy and they just start fighting in the hallway.

First it’s magic they use then it’s fists. Ik wizards don’t usually fist fight but I want it to be bad. Also all the students are egging them in chanting “fight fight fight fight!” Fig hears it outside his office and goes to investigate and he sees Em-Sea going at it hard core with someone. They just fucking each other up.

No one knows what started it or who started it. The Slytherins would claim the Gryffindor started it, while the Gryffindors would blame the Slytherin involved. Hufflepuffs weren't sure but some under-the-table bets were going around and Ravenclaws didn't even realize a fight was taking place.

It was finals week.

All Fig heard from his classroom was the chanting of "Fight! Fight! Fight!" and then Matilda's voice stopping whoever was fighting in the courtyard.

"That bloody mud-blood is a savage!" A boy's voice reached Fig through the open window. "She attacked me!"

Now curious, Fig leaned over the desks he had by the windows and peered outside.

Up from his office, he could see Em-Sea cleaning blood off her fists on her robes while Sebastian plucked dry leaves and grass from her hair. All in all, she looked like she had been wrestling around on the ground. Which by the sound of it, she had.

In front of her was Matilda, arms on her hips, looking like the powerful and intimidating witch she could be. And behind Matilda, was a Slytherin boy glaring daggers at Em-Sea over Matilda's shoulder. Fig wasn't fast enough to hide the smirk that formed on his face when he noticed the boy's nose was bleeding.

Matilda, however, looked ready to expel Em-Sea right then and there. So, Fig hastened out of his classroom, down the stairs, and through the doors that led to the courtyard.

"In all my years in the castle," Matilda was ranting, red-faced, and angrier than Fig had seen her. "Duels I can understand! But fist-fighting!? Are you a witch or some... brute that was raised in a barn?"

Em-Sea's eyes spoke of the anger she was feeling. fig knew those eyes. Before she could answer the headmistress he stepped in and waved his wand over the Slytherin's face. The boy grunted in pain, which caught Matilda's attention and she turned around to stare at Fig and his wand.

"There, all fixed," he said dismisively. "I'm sure duels cause more problems than just a broken nose. Easily fixable with magic if I say so myself. One wrong spell and who knows how many days young Mr. Greengrass would have spent in the infirmary."

Matilda's glare was no longer on Em-Sea but on Fig, but at least she was no longer yelling or scolding anyone.

"Come on, Em-er, Miss Seabough," Fig waved her over. "We'll talk about detention in my office."

Em-Sea shook her head at Sebastian when he made to follow and went by herself after Fig.

"I'm so very disappointed in you, Em-Sea," Fig shook his head. "Fist-fighting on Hogwarts grounds? I don't think anyone ever dared do that."

Em-Sea lowered her head. She didn't regret putting that snobbish racist pureblood in his place. He deserved to be shown what a mudblod such as her was able to do, magic or not. She did regret however that her emotions got the better of her. Again. That Fig was dissapointed in her and that he will probably in trouble with the Headmistress after interfering like he did.

"I'm sure Mr. Greengrass will be fine," Fig waved it off once they entered his office, grabbing her hands to carefully clean them off the boy's blood. "That was good hit, by the way," he winked. "I'm sure no one will call you names in your face without a second thought after this."

Em-Sea blushed.

"It wasn't that good. They're just weak," she shrugged.

"Extraordinary," Fig refuted, tilting her head to check for more injuries. "I'd be more disapointed if that was your blood."

Em-Sea snorted and pushes his hands away. She was fine.

"So... Detention?"

Fig shrugged.

"If anyone asks, I had you writing lines for five hours before tearing them and throwing them away."

"They do seem to like that," MC mussed, thinking about her last detention with Hecat.

"Now, any homework I can help with?"

I really don't like the news of Earthspark ending at season 2. I also don't entirely buy it.

Saying this, I have a weird feeling that Earthspark's second season might out preform it's first, but that's me.

I also feel like as ES fans, we might have to go and do what fans of various other shows have done in the past and petition for a 3rd season if anyone wants to or not.

It would be a shame, considering this is the first Transformer series since well Beast Machines that I've been invested in the most, to making fanart of it. I'd be disapointed if the next Transformer series was just a rehash of RiD2015, not that I don't like silly funny Transformer series, I just didn't see what was so great with that series. This keeps happening with Transformer series I like in that they end at 2 seasons and I never get anything else, or my favorite characters from that series never shows up again in animated media again or when they do, they're voiceless background characters who could've been replaced with a fancy lamp.

i mean, as said before, all of our archives, screenshots and other evidence are public. anyone who wants to present those to any youtuber to see if they'd like to pick it up to make their own video was always free to do so. if someone wants to try to talk to him to look into LO, then it's worth the shot. but if it doesn't work don't get disapointed either. all the people hbomberguy talked about were high profile cases so he knew people were definitely going to be interested on that. he might feel that LO is not worth the effort.

I'm going to try to word this correctly, because I'd like your take and I don't want my point to be misconstrued. The tldr is: I'm kinda bummed 1989 TV is such a commercial success. Here's the long of it. 1989 was my favorite album for a long long time and I was of course, excited to check out the vault. But I feel like these numbers are based on hype, not on product. Which is... fine, commercially speaking. Go girl, make those dollars. But... the result is a receipe. What perfomed the best for a long time is a record that was heavily branded by a stunt with a boy(band). What has now performed the best was a re record dropped in the middle of a tour that was completely overshadowed by the boybranding again. I feel like the rush was a mix of weird Haylor gossip thirst, football dude easter egg hunt, return of girlsquad branding... I admit, it stings that 1989 TV didn't even get a promo interview, a music video, or anything. (No, but we didn't forget the merch drops, tho!!) And it makes me sad, because... folklore, man. That had ZERO hype. Bam. There. And we ate that shit up. We loved THE MUSIC. I want the wild ride to be the music. And 2023 feels like Taylor has fully retreated inside the Taylor Swift TM persona and we're buying the TS Brand, not Taylor's music. What I was hoping for was: more 1989 vibes on vault songs, more "directed by Taylor Swift" creative expressions. What I got was: Ken and Barbie on tour. I'm sorry this is kinda rambly. I know anon asks don't take into account line breaks so this will be even more confusing. But. Yeah. I'm just a bit bummed out and I was wondering if anyone else was a bit disapointed, too? I mean. I genuinely don't know. Do people enjoy the soap opera and I'm the only one who's only turning up to check out the shoes Taylor wore in candids and for her artistic expression? Maybe I'm the weirdo. I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way, and I can absolutely relate! It can be really difficult to separate the stunts from the music on a mental and emotional level. It’s something I still struggle with occasionally, and when the music is something so personal to you, of course you can feel protective or even disappointed when the PR goes off the rails. That is completely valid!

It saddens me that any fan would feel the shine of Taylor’s actual work has been dulled by the PR schemes.

I, too, am surprised that we haven’t seen any music video for 1989 TV yet, but I’m also not completely convinced that the book has been closed on that front. Let’s wait together in hopeful anticipation 🤞

I don’t blame you at all for how you are feeling, but I think in times like these, the most helpful thing for me is to draw that mental boundary—whether it’s a boundary between the music and the PR, or myself and the PR. Sometimes, I just don’t check the news, or I scroll away quickly if I happen to see something. These stunts are a lot, so when I feel myself becoming overwhelmed, I really try to shut down my mournful thoughts with a “NOPE! That’s not good for me right now” and then scroll away, or shut my phone off, or turn on Taylor’s actual music instead.

I am in love with 1989 TV. I’ve had it on repeat since it dropped, and hearing the vault tracks especially makes me so happy. I feel like there’s a real story there—things we didn’t get to see when the album originally came out. I have to imagine that even now, there’s so much happening behind the scenes that we can’t know. I’m just grateful for the chance to peek a little farther behind the curtain for a period of time that was very special for the T Swift community.

Lastly, regardless of the PR stunts, this drop has been huge for Taylor. Perhaps we’ll never know for sure whether that’s because people have come flocking for her music itself or they’ve grown curious due to the over the top PR, but I have a feeling that Taylor doesn’t care much either way. I think she’s at peace with the way she gets her attention, because at the end of the day, people ARE listening to her music. If they saw her at a football game cheering on some meathead and got curious enough to check out 1989 TV, what they will discover is a woman with great intelligence, a depth of emotion, and an insane amount of talent. That is just to say, it will always be her music and talent that shines in the end.

I’m reminded of YOYOK, where Taylor sings I looked around in a blood-soaked gown and I saw something they can’t take away.

No amount of stunts or bad PR (or good PR!) will change her undeniable talent. Even better that 1989 is truly Taylor’s now. I just find it comforting that regardless of how people find Taylor or why they first buy her music, they will get to enjoy it for the beautiful work of art that it always is.

Because i always did that and i've always been ashamed of it, i hated it because everytime i got into an argument i got VERY angry but instead of looking angry and intimidating to push my point i started crying instead which probably makes me looks weak. Not to mention my voice always broke. And i HATE it. Like, bro i'm trying to prove a point here, not now.. So yeah, how would they react to that?

Oh! I can actually relate to this on a personal level because this is something I've struggled with since I was a child. And I know that feeling of being ashamed about it all too well. It doesn't happen to me all the time now when I'm angry but it does still happen and it's super frustrating because yes, like you said, trying to be intimidating, not weak. Plus I'm 4ft 11" so that just makes it even more embarrassing cause I'm not going to intimidate anyone when I'm short like that plus crying.

Margaret: Margaret is very confused. Feelings are already somewhat difficult for her - and that's just her own feelings. Now she has to try to navigate yours and she has no clue how to do that. "Darling, are you...alright?" Once you explain that you're angry, she'll remember this and then next time you cry, she's going to be confused if it's not from anger. It's going to take her some time to learn what different crying means.

F: Due to F knowing you for a while, they're already aware of your angry/disappointed tears. "Would you like some space?" They want to work out whatever the issue is, but not if you're possibly feeling embarrassed. If you want space, they will leave and wait until you're ready. If you don't want them to leave, they will stay by your side.

Constantine: He would feel guilty the first time, wondering how he got you so upset. Once he realizes they're angry tears, he feels relieved. Then he would start to panic. Oh shit. MC must be really pissed off. If you're okay with it, he'd want to hug you and kiss your forehead. But you might not want him near you and he would respect that if it's the case. He'd just get some tissues for you and wait patiently until you're ready to talk.

Felix: He would smile and possibly even chuckle a little, which would probably fuel the flames of your anger more. And if you say something like "See? You don't take me seriously," he would immediately stop laughing and turn serious. "I take you very seriously. But that doesn't mean you don't look cute as hell when you're mad."

The ceremony had been beautiful; small, intimate, everything Bloom and Sky had wanted for themselves but as the future king and queen of Eraklyon couldn’t have.  Until their friends had surprised them a week before their gigantic, over-the-top, driving them both crazy wedding that the entire dimension was due to tune in to watch.  And they still would, only now a select few would know they’d already said their vows the week before.

It was all so perfect.

Flora sighed a little dreamily and didn’t even jump when Helia appeared before her, extending a delicate artist’s hand towards her.

“Dance with me?”

She smiled and slipped her hand into his, reveling in the familiar calluses formed equally from paintbrushes and swords, pressed against her own from gardening.  She knew these hands and they knew her, were familiar as they guided her out onto the dance floor and slipped around her waist.  It was more swaying than dancing but this far into the night no one was moving much more than that.

Flora rested her head against Helia’s shoulder, listening to his heartbeat and drinking in the sight of her best friends.  Bloom and Sky had eyes for no one but each other, her arms slipped around his shoulders, him gazing down into her eyes, so obviously in love that it made Flora’s heart ache.

“Would you ever want this?” she asked quietly, turning her head so she could meet his eyes.

“This?” he enquired.

“The vows, and the commitment, and having all our friends around us.”

“You know I plan on loving you for the rest of my life, Flora,” Helia said gently.

“I know.”  And she did.  He’d told her many, many times that he didn’t need a wedding to know that there would never be anyone else for him.

They were both quiet for a moment, then, “What would you want ours to be like?”

Flora nuzzled into Helia’s neck and thought for a moment.  “Like this,” she murmured, thinking how much fun she’d had tonight.  She thought for another moment.  “But outside.”

“Of course.”  He said it with a chuckle and the laughter buzzed through him.  Flora pressed her lips to his throat like she might swallow the sensation.

They rocked from side to side and the motion was so lulling that Flora’s eyes fluttered shut even as she was still imagining their wedding perfectly in her head.  “I think I would be barefoot, but I wouldn’t wear white.”

“No?”

“Nope,” Flora said simply, picturing a pale pink dress.  “But maybe the girls would wear white.  The ceremony would be at the base of one of Linphea’s millennia trees, so old that it could write history, but strung with thousands of lights.  It would be beautiful.”

“Beautiful,” Helia agreed and his voice was so quiet that it was like he was speaking directly into her soul.

Rating Every Strawberry Shortcake Design*

I haven't made this clear on my Tumblr before, but I love Strawberry Shortcake. Something about the tv shows and official artwork always puts me in a good mood. So, because I feel like it, I'm going to talk about the designs she's had over the years and give them the tier list rankings.

Before I do that, I have to lay down a few ground rules.

1. I'm not doing every single design. Even if I limited it to one generation, there'd be so many different versions of Strawberry in dresses and swimsuits and winter clothes to rate that I'd never get it done.

2. What I will include are the base designs from official artwork and the tv-show versions if they have notable differences.

3. I'm judging these by the design alone. The artsyle won't factor into my ratings at all.

4. My opinion doesn't invalidate yours. I'm going to point out a lot of issues with some of these designs, but if you like them anyway that's fine. I'm not here to change anyone's mind, I just want to share my opinions.

5. This is how my tier list ratings work:

S tier is rarely objective. It's usually for designs I really like regardless of quality.

A tier is for great designs with little to no flaws, it's one I try to be really objective on.

B Tier is for good designs that for whatever reason, don't impress me like the ones in A or S tier do.

C Tier is for okay designs. They might be boring or get something wrong, but at the very least, they function.

D Tier is for bad designs. I don't hate them, but I don't think they get much right either.

F Tier is for designs that are straight up terrible or ones that I hate. I tend to have strong feelings about anything in this tier.

With all the boring stuff out of the way, I can begin the rating! Starting off with...

1970's Keller design

This is Strawberry's most iconic design, and it's not just because she was the first one. This version of Strawberry went for a bit of a rag doll look and is clearly a baker. That's one of my favorite things about it since none of her future incarnations make that a part of her design. It's a little disapointing since bakery-esque outfits can be really cute, but if it could only happen once, I'm glad they got it right.

The patterns are a little too much for me, with the stripped stockings and the polka dots and the green diamonds and the row of x's on her apron. The use of color more than makes up for that though. I love that they were able to use green and white as accents without drowning out red as her main color. I kinda wish her hat was closer to red than it was pink, but it works fine as is. My final compliment is that the ragdoll elements(yarn-like hair and fingerless hands) make the design better instead of worse. Ragdolls can look a little creepy in my opinion, but the parts of that look this design borrows makes Strawberry look more childish in a good way. Pretty great design, A tier.

1990's THQ Design

So this one is...weeeird. As far as I know, This era of Strawberry shortcake didn't have a specific theme, it was just cute girls doing cute things. If that was all it needed to do, I'd put it B tier because it does that pretty well. It has a cute color pallete, cute clothes, from that perspective it does what it's supposed to do. But since it's supposed to be a design for Strawberry Shortcake, it unfortunately falls flat because of how disconnected it feels. In her last design, she was clearly meant to look like a baker and the giant hat covered in strawberries added to that. But in this one, the fruit theme is very downplayed and the dessert theme is gone in favor of...balet? Sometimes?(It varies depending on the artwork tbh) The only other notable difference is that her eyes are blue instead of brown, which doesn't change anything in my book. It's a good design, but a bad fit for Strawberry Shortcake as a brand. C Tier.

2003 Bandai Design

This version of Strawberry shortcake differs from the original again, this time towards a casual look for kids. The flat mary janes, baggy jeans, and sun hat do a great job pushing that look, and I personally love how she wears the jacket, that's such a kid thing to do!

Aside from the blue in her jeans, Strawberry's color pallete here is pretty close to her 70's design. I think it's a nice way to keep the design familiar without rehashing it, though it does come with some improvements and downgrades. I like that they toned down the patterns, but don't like that red still isn't the prominent color in her design. Baking isn't a big part of Strawberry's character in this generation, so I'm not sure why they didn't add more red(granted, the version used in the TV show does by changing the stripes, but this doesn't do anything for the key art version being judged).

I think this design is solid. It's simple but effective, although I do wish we got to see her wear the jacket. B tier.

2005 Playmates Design

I'm not 100% percent sure if this is her main design from this era or a varient, so take this with a grain of salt.

Either way...this design is AWFUL. This is the 1st time the franchise made Strawberry's main color pink, and I can't stand it. But even if I could, the colors are so saturated it makes the whole fit an eyesore! It's honestly really hard for me to critique this one, but for the sake of you guys I will ignore the excessive use of hot pink to judge the rest of this design.

I also don't like the stripe patterns on Strawberry's shirt. The red stripes only emphazize the bright chunks of yellow and pink, while also blending in with her belt too much. Not surprised if you didn't notice that until now. That's the last of what I dislike...but there isn't anything I like either. I'm pretty neutral on her denim skirt, the sleeve ruffles, and the different hat. This is the only design with, in my opinion, no positive traits. F tier.

2005 Playmates Design, TV Show Version

Feel like I forgot something...oh yeah. This is the same Strawberry Shortcake from 2003, but aged up to make her seem more mature(and to sell more toys but this post isn't about that). Aside from being simpler, this design differs from the last one with different shoes, pants, and a zipped up jacket(that isn't the one from her 2003 design, real shame). Also she's wearing her old hat. It's definitely better than the last design, and it feels like a natural progression from her 2003 design, but it doesn't leave a strong impression.

For one, I don't like pink being her main color and this design does nothing to change that. It changed her hair back to red, but her outfit is still too sparse of it to me. Why did they never try making pink her accent color instead? Still not a fan of the sleeve ruffles either. The idea's cute, but since the rest of her outfit leans toward a casual look, they look out of place. Also the pant lines being under the pant pockets...is a choice. Overall it's fine, C Tier.

2007 Playmates Design

From what I know, this design barely counts since was made for a Strawberry Shortcake video game...but I just love it so much! This design leans into a gardening theme with the boots and denim jeans, but still has a focus on the titular fruit with the color pallette and strawberry patterns. While the actual outfit is pretty cute, it's the color pallette and placement that wins me over. It would've been easier and way worse if they covered her in the bright cherry red. But instead they break it up with softer reds(her hair and hat) or with blue for a nice contrast, while keeping the cherry-red on each part of her design(strawberry clip on top, blouse on middle, and boots on bottom).

I do have a few issues, the polka-dot pattern is a little garish and I wish they put some blue on the top of her design, but those are far from dealbreaking. This is my favorite Strawberry Shortcake design, S Tier.

2009 Hasbro Design

I'm going to be blunt: I do not like most of the designs from this era. They tend to have the same exact issues, so if I make this a series get ready to hear that criticism a LOT. If it's any consolation though, I'd say Strawberry's design is an exception. I like the pastel pink on her clothes and the use of green as an accent color. Making the hat look like a strawberry was a clever way to add the fruit motif into her outfit, and the shirt pattern and is a nice homage to her original design.

I do have some gripes with it though. The biggest one being the lack of red. Why on earth did they ditch the red??? It's even worse here because another character from this era is clearly supposed to have pink as her main color, but they made her share with Strawberry instead of keeping the red from her older designs.

Another small problem is the style of her clothes. They succeed at pushing Strawberry towards a more casual look, but they don't tell us much about her as a character. This generation put a larger emphasis on the characters having their own businesses, but I couldn't tell you what Strawberry's is with her design. One last gripe is the polka dot pattern on her skirt being different from the one on her hat bothers me, but it's not a big deal.

Overall this design is good. It has a nice casual vibe that's complimented with great use of color and color placement. The issues I have with it are small, but they do stop it from being great. B tier, would've been an easy A if her shoes and hair were red.

2019 Wild Brain Design

This design never became canon, but it's practically a rough draft for one that is. BIG emphasis on rough. I didn't hate this Strawberry when she was revealed, but I can definitely see why the rest of the internet did.

The real problem with this design in my opinion is the lack of direction. From what we know about this scrapped generation, it was going to take place in a forest and have the characters use magic to some degree...but NONE of that is present in her design. No fairy wings, no magic pendent or anything remotely fantastical. So that's why it's not an S tier design. But what it does go for doesn't work either. The tutu dress and stockings are a decent pair, but they clash with her shoes and beanie hat. Is she trying to dress for summer or winter? I'm also not impressed with her hair or color pallet despite the extra red, it's too generic to comment on.

Overall this design feels like a 1st draft, and that isn't because of the artstyle. Every part is of her look is either generic or clashes with other elements. There are some good ideas in this Strawberries' design, but as an ensemble they all fall flat. D tier. Don't hate it, but definitely don't like it either.

2021 Wild Brain Design #2

Looks like they did make a 2nd draft for that design after all! Yeah that's why I ranked the scrapped design, so many parts of it are present in this one.

Let's get the negatives out of the way, too much pink, no baker themes, yada yada yada.

As for the positives, most of them are unfortunately pretty light. Not enough to land it in D tier though, because this one is actually cohesive. The setting for this version of Strawberry Shortcake is in the city: no nature, no magic, just slice-of-life. So the lack of magical elements isn't a problem. I also like, say it with me, the color placement. The reds and greens are nice accents and the blue jacket pops against the shades of pink and red in her hair. The only thing that really holds this back is that the outfit's too generic to warrent anything higher than a C. So I'm going to put it in C tier.

And that's all of them(as of now anyway)! While I was working on this I had a huge hyperfixation on Strawberry Shortcake, but by now it's definitely gone away. I can't promise when I'll make another design ranking for this series, but there are still some characters I want to talk about.

What i hate about folks claiming that ironwoods fall was good writing and we are just bitter fans is that they forget every character was fucked over in v8. No character came out of the season better written or with more nuance. V8 writing activelly made every character worse. 3/4 of our main girls sit in the mansion for most of the volume, the other team let a grimm transform for 30 seconds and take oscar, the man that beats up a kid for 3 episodes is redeemed in death i guess, oscar has a bomb in the cane now, emerald is forgiven and trusted somehow, everybody forgets that cinder is in atlas even tho ruby fought her in v7 finale, harriet was in love clover now i guess, qrow blames everyone except tyrian for clovers death, his teased fight with ironwood never happens cause robyn uses talk no jutsu on him while bad mouthing a dead man... and the list goes on and on and on, not even touching the penny stuff. Not only ironwood fans should be disapointed at this shit?

It is so strange to me anon. I don't understand why anyone is happy with any of the character arcs in volume 8. We have RWBY and JNR being narratively treated as completely interchangeable without any changes to account for the different character arcs. Worse, as you said, none of the characters had any sort of arc in volume 8.

The characters don't really question any of their decisions, they don't really have to deal with the consequences of their actions, they don't have to struggle to figure out what to do, they're just handed everything they need on a silver platter with no effort to make it happen. Hell only Yang has 8 volumes in faced Salem face to face. Only one fourth of the main cast has faced off against the main antagonist of the series. Yet for some reason we just had to shove in a whole arc of James being a villain so much so that he is labeled as a main character of the volume and Blake, again one of the four main title characters, is labeled as a side character.

Volume 8 is a poorly written mess that fans want to be good because they have invested too much time in the show to accept that it has poor writing in it. You're allowed to like a show with a bad season. I still adore for example Star Wars Rebels despite hating the second half of season 4. Sometimes shows you love screw up. You can still like the thing and accept that it screwed up and criticize those screw ups. Taking the time the point out ways a show can be improved is a way to show you care, because you spend your valuable time pointing out things to improve shows you care enough to want to see it better.

In the RWDE community at least not just Ironwood fans are annoyed with what happened, fans of every character are frustrated because the writing is so damn inconsistent and poorly done. But these fans refuse to see this and don't want to see the problems in the writing.

There used to be ants.

Thousands of them, little things. Hardworking, sure, but kind of pesky. I didn't think to bother them, though.

Afterall, they had never done anything to me.

But once, I destroyed one of their homes; I was mad and crashed it to smitherins. Maybe that is why they were angry at me. Because of their home.

But they had so many! It couldn't possibly have been that.

Amongst them i found someone to call a friend. We had such fun together, played games, shared stories about where we each came from. That was when they told me,

"You look like you see humans as... as ants, or something."

They laughed, a small, nervous thing.

"Well", i'd said, "As endearing as you might be, ants are hardworking, yet so small and insignificant. Pesky. They're just like your kind; I hardly see the difference."

Humans used to be ants to someone like me.

My friend's eyes got troubled.

The rest of the day i spent by distracting them, telling them stories about my kind and making them forget all about their worries.

I always hated seeing them sad. So maybe, in some way, my punishment was also a blessing.

Humans didn't really like me, so maybe i also deserved it; They put me in something called "detention". A cell, of sorts.

It has been some time now, but it is tolerable. Besides, I won't stay here forever, I'll get out.

It's cold.

The kind of cold to crawl under your skin and sip into your bones.

The humans must have been quite mad, to make me stay here for such a long time- far longer than i thought they would- in order to make me think about what i did.

I still don't see what i did that was so wrong.

I had tried to help them build a utopia, that was what they'd wanted. It was what my friend had once spoken about wanting, too. So of course I wasn't going to disapoint them.

But, somehow, they didn't like it when i began to destroy the old, in order to build things anew.

Could that be why...?

No.

No, don't be silly. I provided aid, they should have thanked me, but they were simply too stubborn and too mean and just pesky.

They must still be mad about their stupid ruined island. That must be why.

Well, jokes on them; i have time. It's only been few dozens of years. I can make it. I won't apologize if i'm not even in the wrong.

It's... it's cold, and lonely, but at least i can still make spheres and butterflies out of light, to keep me company. I'll be okay. And when i'm back, i will talk to them and make them see i'm right.

Then, they will all apologise to me.

Once i am free... I bet it will be much easier to breathe.

After they let me out, which, they will, they- they have to- then I'll be free to fly across the sky again, touch the clouds and maybe, if they are nice, i'll show them gratitude.

I will make them gardens, new islands, so, so many of those for them to live in, i'll show them that i've changed and they won't give me detention anymore. They will all be happy and my friend and i will be too.

They won't do it again. But...

But if they ever do, maybe next time.... Maybe they can give me a companion. It doesn't have to be my friend, it could be anyone.

It's really lonely, it's the first time i've ever experienced such sorrow, the first time it feels like ice has gotten hold of my limbs, of my soul, of my everything.

But it's alright! I just have to withstand it for a little more.

It's just...

It's so dark here. There's only black.

Just black.

Black.

Black.

I can't seem to remember how daisies smell.

My arms feel too heavy to lift and my magic does not come to me, so I can't make any daisies. Though, i think that i couldn't since the start, though i had tried.

It is like the place is infertile. It can't let flowers grow and it won't stand the light for long. It devours your screams, and it eats the hope right out of you, as if it is offended by it. As if it yearns for it, perhaps, and depsises when someone else other than It has any left.

I can't tell which it is, nor which is more frightening.

But i am Divine, that's what they called me, and it is beneath me to fear, and so i shall think no further of it.

The heat comes and goes, unless it is just my mind that tricks me. I also realized that something wet keeps dripping from my eyes. However, it's been centuries, so maybe being in the dark for this long simply does that to a person.

To a deity.

When my friend, the one who'd held my hands when the ants- i-i mean, the people, said i should come here, they'd soothed me and said it was all going to be okay.

At the time, water also seemed to form in their eyes. Crying, the people had called it, and i had wiped it away as my friend sniffed and closed their eyes.

But i don't cry, i have no reason to. When the humans let me out, i'll see the sun again.

I'll see my friend again.

I won't need to have water wet my eyes; We can simply visit a waterfall.

I must admit i no longer know how long it has been.

I think...

I think they hate me, that is why they have put me here, in this- this prison for so long. But no one had said when they were going to let me out.

I don't understand...

Maybe if i try to remember better what they had said?

...I had been standing in front of them, in an appearance that mimicked theirs, yet i was taller still.

I felt guilty, not because i knew what i did to make them all angry, as the trees deteriorated around us and the earth started to burn, but because the people were scowling at me.

Yelling.

Cursing.

I don't think i could make out anything else.

One of them threw something, but it became dust before it reached me; i sure hope it hadn't been a part of a game, cause that toy would have been ruined, and they wouldn't get to play with it anymore.

But it had looked like a rock. Yet humans are strange, so who knows what toys they choose to play with.

The human- my friend, had a touch so warm.

I'm not sure what warmth feels like anymore, but i know it's nice. It'd felt nice, when they'd touched me, when they'd brushed that stupid wetness from my cheeks.

They used to touch me so often.

They told me it was going to be okay, that i was going in detention for doing bad things. But when i asked why, they just looked sad again.

When i touched them, they didn't turn away. They only leaned into it, before stepping back. I still remember how my heart seemed to crack.

Perhaps I should have known.

"W-when will i be back?"

They had just looked at me.

It's been thousands, upon thousands of years.

My heart hurts still, but it is a dull familiar thing, like a blanket that keeps me under and refuses to let me stand back up. Now it is something else grabs my attention, every second, of every day.

It feels a little too much like panic.

It feels like panic, i think each day of every week, of every year, of every decade. Even if humans say that the Divine does not fear nor stress nor do wrong. Apparently, according to them, i am no longer divine, because when i let myself think, agonising fear rushes through my veins.

I have been here for maybe a millennia, and I don't think anyone remembers me. Anyone who will let me out and let me see the sun, or hear the waves.

Just like that, it dawns on me, fast and hard.

I will never see my best friend smile again.
