#watched the new asides! hahahahahahaha i have thoughts #mostly positive which is not what i was expecting! i thought they felt in character for the most part #i enjoyed it #but that. was not Janus #youre telling me the master of deception the literal EMBODIMENT of deceit #would get SO drunk around people he quite frankly should not trust yet his arc has not gone that far #that he is saying everything on his mind and being extremely loose lipped #no. absolutely not #i feel like thomas was aiming a gun labeled /reduce character to alcoholism joke/ at logan and last second swiveled and shot janus #point fuckin blank #and the rest of the episode was actually good!!! it was fun!!!!!!! except for the weird drunk cardboard cutout they had standing #where janus should be #for a character like janus alcohol - if its gonna be used at all - should be used as like . a sign of character growth #a signifier of trust . he trusts the others enough to drop those walls . but that is NOT a point we should have hit now #he had a breakthrough with patton but roman hates him virgil hates him #that is not a situation where the embodiment of self preservation js gonna go welp! time to get blackout drunk!#im so . i just . come ON man #roman would get drunk as shit . at thjs point in his arc that even makes sense!!!#taking a bit of liquid confidence when maybe hes not feeling much of his own #though where roman stands in his arc after four entire years of waiting is . fuckin debatable i guess #anyway in conclusion that was not janus . thank you for coming to my ted talk #ts crit #ts critical #ts spoilers

Two-headed tortoise Janus turns 25!

Janus, who also has two hearts, two pairs of lungs and two distinct personalities, would not have survived long in the wild as he cannot retract his heads into his shell to seek shelter from predators. But at the Geneva Natural History Museum, where he hatched in 1997, Bourgoin and her team of carers - who believe he is the world's oldest bicephalic tortoise - can cater for his every need!

He is under constant surveillance in case he flips over, which could be fatal, and survived a bladder stone operation in 2020. His heads need periodic treatment with vaseline to stop them getting sore when they rub together.

His two personalities also generate different moods and tastes that can occasionally lead to conflict, for example over which direction to walk. "The right head is more curious, more awake, it has a much stronger personality. The left head is more passive and loves to eat," Bourgoin said, adding that one head was partial to endives and the other to carrots.

Virgil can be summoned by an adrenaline spike

Roman sleeps for over 11 hours in one sitting

Janus is canonically cold-blooded (and roman knows this)

Remus named his shower drain "Joanne's Fabrics"

Both of the other dark sides have already known this

Janus and remus had to "come all this way" for the video

Logan doesn't usually plan Secret Santa, someone else does

Logan voluntarily wore a Santa hat and invited the dark sides

Logan called roman a "master of (almost) all rhythms"

Patton knows very little to nothing about remus as a side

Virgil arguably knows logan the most of all the sides

What do you mean I’m a bit late for Janus’ big day? Of course not, how could you say such a thing! I definitely didn’t forget all about it in my absence and only get reminded in the incorrect quotes video live chat; that’s not like me at all ;]

Anyways I decided to dress our sassy snake in some different outfits I think he’d like. He seems like the type to get all dolled up on his birthday and it goes with Thomas posting pics in outfits inspired by the sides on their appreciation days!
