Louis XV's royal clutter
Castles opened to the public tend to put a great emphasis on furnitures, paintings and panellings. This focus often occurs at the expense of smaller every day items, such as tools, services, boxes and so on.
Even as far back as the 18th century, inventories of the garde meuble- the administration in charge of the French royal furnitures and collections- often omitted those smaller items, in favour of a greater focus on the furnitures themselves.
Several exception that that rule do exist for instance :
When King Louis XV died the 10th of May 1774 in Versailles, his Versailles private cabinets were opened and searched, all the cash and the precious items contained in his cupboards were listed and described in an inventory made 27 days after his death.
Said inventory isn't located in the documents of the House of King(O1 series of the french national archives) like it is usually the case, but in the King's papers, namely in the K series of the national archives, more specifically the K 153.
The document in question was never published nor translated to this date.
I decided to publish it for the first time and translate it entirely to give an idea of the of the kind of clutter that was present in the king's private cabinets in Versailles at the time of his death :

Silly Headcanons About the Princes as Children - Part 4: Modern-Day
Jin Grandet
Made regular trips to the dentist on account of too many cavities. They became such close chums over the course of these visits to the point where Jin learned the dentist was going to become a grandpa before even the secretary knew. The dentist never scolds him too harshly. Why risk upsetting his best-paying patient? He usually just fills in the cavity and gives Jin a semi-stern finger wagging. Those were just his baby teeth, after all. Surely he’d learn to control his sugar intake by the time the adult ones grew in.
Listen, if anyone’s to blame, it’s Yves for making all those sweets so darn irresistible. Granted, Jin usually ends up eating more than his share, but he swears he only does it to keep his brothers from suffering the same terrible toothy fate as him. Ah, the lengths he goes to as the eldest…
But don’t worry, Jin makes it up to little Yves by helping him find new recipes to try. The two of them flip through cookbooks and watch cooking channels together (Jin’s favorite show is Cupcake Wars*), and Jin jots down the ingredients and steps for all the desserts Yves asks for. It’d be a heck of a lot easier to remember them all if the DVR memory wasn’t always full.
Jin is a master of diversions. Whenever the gang has to attend high-society parties or events and the younger ones inevitably get nervous or uncomfortable around the haughty socialites, Jin would swoop in and deploy his silver tongue to dazzle and diffuse the situation. Then he’d discreetly pull his brothers aside to someplace quiet (like a coat closet or an outdoor veranda), give them whatever candy he had in his pocket (be it lollipops or candy canes or gummy worms) and pat them on the back until they stopped crying. He’d stay hidden with them for the entire night if he needed to.
His favorite place on Earth is Hershey Park, followed closely by the M&M’s Factory.
One year, Jin was gifted a stunning silver ring with a massive andradite garnet inset center stone for his birthday. He took one look at the gift, thought it was a ring pop, and swallowed it whole. He learned the hard way later that night that not all shiny rocks are candy.
But he was intrigued by the idea of birthstones, so he went out and bought a stone bead for each of his brothers: topaz for Chevalier, alexandrite for Clavis, peridot for Leon, sapphire for Yves, and two shades of opal for the twins. It pays to grow up rich. He wears them around his neck on a chain along with his garnet gem (after a thorough washing, of course) and never takes it off.
Would never admit it aloud to his brothers, those six are already more than enough, but he secretly hoped to add an emerald to the collection so he could complete the rainbow.
Chevalier Michel
Can’t stand staying in the house when all his brothers are home, so he packs a bag full of books and high-protein energy bars and spends the day at the local library. Most people stop and stare at the little boy walking across town and crossing the busy streets on his own, but with just one stern over-the-shoulder look the people flinch and continue on their merry way. He’ll be fine, he looks like he knows where he’s going.
There are multiple libraries around the area, but he usually visits the one farthest away on the outskirts of town. It is an old, dilapidated shack of a building, run by a doddery librarian who looks even more ancient than the place itself. But it hosts a modest collection of classic and modern titles, has charming vintage armchairs you could just melt into, and, most importantly, is free of shrill little brothers. One would think the first place to find Chevalier would be in a library, but the challenge lies in which one.
The first time Chevalier visited the place he thought the librarian had died at the counter. But four hours into his reading session, a massive sneeze echoed through the dingy racks that shook him to his core. Chevalier grabbed his bag and flew out the door before the now-moving librarian could ask if he wanted to apply for a library card. But he returned the following week, standing on his tippy-toes to reach the top of the counter, and politely apologized and requested a library card.
This probably doesn’t even need to be said at this point, but Chevalier isn’t a big TV fan. “Television rots the brain,” he’d said when Clavis and Leon asked if he wanted to watch superhero shows with them. But there are a select few programs he doesn't mind watching, particularly educational ones like science shows and historical documentaries and brainy quiz games.
But his brothers usually hogged the TV all day with their baby shows and cartoons, so he kept a copy of the TV guide hidden in his room and always set the DVR to record the shows he didn’t want to miss. Then he’d wake up in the middle of the night, quietly sneak into the family room to watch his lineup, then slip back into bed at dawn. It’s a good excuse to sleep through the hubbub of the morning cartoons, that’s for sure.
But one night he fell asleep on the couch watching a particularly dull documentary on the history of haberdasheries and woke up the next morning to the sun burning his eyelids, Season 27 of Jeopardy!* on screen, and Clavis and Leon bouncing on the cushions laughing and taunting him. Chevalier whacked them off the couch with a pillow, shut off the TV, and headed for the library.
As a prank, Clavis signed Chevalier up for the Jeopardy! Kids Tournament, but it came to none of the brothers’ surprise that he absolutely swept the competition. He then proceeded to dominate the Teen Tournament a few months later despite not meeting the minimum age requirement to enter. The only category he flubbed on was “Saturday Morning Cartoons”, and since then he’s made occasional appearances in the family room to watch with the others.
Chevalier donated the prize money to the rickety old library. It already paid to grow up rich.
Clavis Lelouch
He pours the milk before the cereal (and that’s a fact)
He dressed as a mad scientist for Halloween one year and turned it into his entire personality. He’d wear the lab coat and rubber gloves and goggles everyday and everywhere. He wanted to wear the crazy wig that came with the costume too, but it made Yves cry so he resolved to just ruffling up his hair to be extra floofy in the morning.
But a mad scientist needs a base of operations to conduct his experiments. So he chased Licht and Nokto and their snack stash out of the treehouse and set up the “Lelouch Laboratory”. Flashing lights and freaky sounds and funky smells often emanated from the lab well into the late hours of the night.
But a mad scientist needs materials to set up and test his experiments. Luckily, Clavis is never wont for supplies as he treats all objects with potential to be studied. From freshly cut blades of grass to his Science teacher’s car keys to Chevalier’s barf-inducing energy bars, anything and everything had the potential to astound and amaze with just a “What if?” and a spark of imagination. And it didn’t hurt that he could always swipe his father’s credit card if there ever came the opportunity to acquire a particularly fascinating material online. It pays to grow up rich.
But a mad scientist needs test subjects to run his experiments on. His brothers were too clever to fall for his pleas for help, so Clavis resolved to luring the neighborhood kids into his den with promises of Yves’s sweets in exchange for their assistance. It wasn’t uncommon to hear panicked shrieks or see children fleeing in terror from the backyard.
The final experiment run at the Lelouch Laboratory happened on what started out as a calm spring’s day. Clavis had just received a bottle of fluoroantimonic acid in the mail (don’t ask where he bought it from) and was dying to test it out on his oddball collection of knickknacks. But safety is the number one priority at the Lelouch Laboratory, so he needed to find a fearless assistant with a strong will to keep a sharp eye on the trials and make sure nothing “unexpected” happened. The little redheaded boy he found napping under the seesaw at the park was perfect.
Everything was set up according to plan. He’d laid his assortment of solvents out on the floor of the treehouse, triple checked to make sure his goggles and gloves were on properly, and flashed the little boy wobbling in the corner a thumbs up to begin. But before Clavis could insert the dropper into the bottle of acid, the sleepy boy closed his green eyes and fell facedown on the testing zone. The bottle tipped over and the fluoroantimonic acid spilled out, running along the floor and rapidly eating away at the wood until eventually the entire treehouse caved in and collapsed. Luckily, the two made it out mostly unscathed, but Clavis has since been forced to shut down his operations and hang up his lab coat until he could acquire a hazardous chemical license. Jin pulled the two out of the rubble, offered them honey buns to calm them down, then walked the boy with the garnet hair and emerald eyes back home.

Open post-Christmas starter!
"Look! Come and look what I got for Christmas!"
She was positively beaming from ear to ear. This wasn't even her first Christmas in Garnet's home; but even three years on, they were still finding new and exciting ways to surprise the 12-year-old.
Still clad in her favourite festive sweater, the one with candy canes depicted all over it, even though Christmas day was a few days behind them at this point, Vanellope wasted no time in guiding the other through the beach house and upstairs to her bedroom. Laid out on the floor before them, in amongst a satisfying number of other presents, was her new pride and joy.
"It's the most modern Scalextric track kit! Now I can play at being a racer in real life, not just in video games! And it's totally got a butt-tonne of impressive features, too."
She'd never had one of these before, but she'd sure ogled them in the catalogues plenty of times. Looked like someone had finally taken notice.
She was already holding out a controller to her guest.
"So c'mon. You gotta challenge me to a few rounds now that you're here..."

The is a Holiday/Winter themed event in case you couldn’t tell. Below the cut is all the info for the event! (Normal requests are on hold as of now.)
This event will last from December 3rd to December 25th!
In this event, you will craft a present! You will choose a box size, your preferred wrapping paper, and a ribbon color. The box size decides the relationship between the pairing, the wrapping paper patterns are different prompts, and the ribbon colors are for the fandom you want (but specify the character of course).

Taffy + Steven fusion for tje contest tjing for @taffyandstevenuniverse
I'm going ot be betraying myself jere and using Hs for tje sake of simplicity wjile typing about kinda details N stuffz
So, first off, Ima call em Cotton Candy for ease while talking about them, since that's kinda what I think they kinda look like- some sort of Chocolate Cotton Candy mix. Or CCC for short!
My artstyle ain't really all about them noses and ears, so I drew him without, but he does have em, which is why I drew the little headshot to the left WITH the nose and ears, mostly just so you can see what his hair would do around his ear.
CCC has a cape that he can summon at will like Taffy, and it can change colours between the purple, pink and blue as to how much strength one of the three colours has and the amount that's shown. He can even choose if he wants it all purple, all pink or all blue! However, the white rim stays 24/7. He also has an alternate outfit, which leans more to Taffy's coat thing than Steven's unlike in the main design. Also, just incase it isn't obvious, Taffy's shows and Steven's sandals become slippers!
CCC's weapon is like this sort of cane thing with a kind of blocky rose at the end of it, which opens up to shoot out beams and Deploy a shield around CCC and those around him. His beam only kind of stings and paralyzes the receiver, it doesn't hurt them badly. It can also extend at will. Although, if CCC oh so wishes to do some dramatic moves, he can manually adjust it's length.
I'd imagine CCC would be quite the bubbly person, mainly happy and light and bright. Though in a serious situation, he's serious down to his very core. But he'd totally be weak against jokes and easily crack up.
Also, I'd like to mention that he still has only 2 eyes, 2 arms and 2 legs because if we looks at the show, it seems fusion reflect their relationships extremely visually using the additions in fusion. For example, Garnet, a fusion of love, only has 2 legs and arms, but three eyes. She's a fusion of romantic love. Lapis and Jasper, Malachite, is a toxic fusion in more ways than one. Their form looks monstrous, giant with 4 'legs' but even then they have hands instead if feet. It shows in their voice to, as it's just a mix of Jasper's and Lapis'. And now let's look at Steven and Amethyst, Smokey Quartz. The only additions is a third limb. They are a sibling relationship. Steven and Connie, Stevonnie, look completely human, 2 eyes, arms and legs. And although a factor of that could be due to Connie being human, they also have quite the good relationship. Taffy and Steven seem to have a good relationship, so they have 2 arms, eyes and legs.
CCC is also maybe like a Steven head taller than Steven and Taffy.
Not really the best design maker, but here was my best attempt. Have a nice day!

cherry: so I decided that it would be a great idea to write a novel in a semester... y’know, cos i’m an idiot. though i guess some people try to do it in a month...
I’m a big fan of murder mysteries and true crime so I’m currently deciding between writing some kind of retelling of the Jack the Ripper murders, or a murder mystery based in my home state. But I can’t make a decision to save my life, sooo....
garnet: sooooo I couldn’t choose favorite book or movie because i’ve read about a million books and don’t watch a lot of movies, so i went tv show, hope that’s okay .... (you’ll know what it is, but whatever, i love it)
so basically there’s this sixteen year old girl who’s the living embodiment of the “chosen one” trope. she has superpowers and a destiny that she doesn’t want and she has to fight all these monsters and demons and shit but she’s not supposed to tell anyone but people find out anyway so now she has this group of friends. and they all start fighting evil together with the help of her mentor/eventual father figure dude. the town they live in is like a hotspot for evil and there’s a big bad really ugly ancient vampire trying to rise up and take over. our main girl has a love interest of this kinda creepy older dude and they sorta get together but oops, he’s a vampire. but he’s basically not evil and he helps them too. then it’s time for the big fight and there’s a prophecy that if she fights the big evil guy, she’ll die. which she does but only for like two minutes and then she comes back and kicks his ass. aaaand there’s a shitty, moderately spoiled version of the first season.
candy cane: I guess one thing is that I’m an incredibly emotional person. Not always in a good way. I have anxiety so I’m very sensitive and also hyperaware of other people’s emotions. I just feel things very intensely and can have a hard time thinking logically through that. It gets me in trouble sometimes.

oH MY GODS - I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT FUSIONS AND STUFF -
Lemme just ramble about fusing for a bit??
TBT + Mochi Fusions are as follows:
Kamo (there's a river in Japan named after this)
Stable
You two trust each other truly and wholly, he lets himself be vulnerable enough to attach to you and share the same mind space. The two of you are perfectly in sync, body, mind, and soul even if your relationship is platonic.
Together, Kamo is the most balanced fusion. They're succinct, a bit foul mouthed but intelligent. Very cheeky and their bluntness can often be considered rude. They get along with people so well that it's hard to believe Katsuki was apart of such a well-rounded fusion. Confident and very sure in their skills, knows what they're good at. A little short fused and quick to just jump right into fights, they can be hard to handle.
A true powerhouse in their own right. Their explosions are amplified, often enough almost kamikaze-like. Strategies are air tight, even though they seem to leave the enemy a little beaten more than what was originally planned. Although it's unclear whether that was intentional or not.
Katsu's spiky hair play a huge factor in design. They're on the bottom when it comes to short to medium hair cuts, a ponytail or braids of your hair color is there if your hair is especially long. If you got an afro or dreadlocks, it makes Kamo's roots ash blond and it seems to cause your hair to pull back and poke out. If you got an undercut than it's likely his hair color is where it's been shaved, if you have no hair than Kamo's just got Katsuki's hair in an undercut.
Oh! And his red eyes give Kamo a tint of it, often seen when they're incredibly angry or excited for a good fight.
Mozuku (yes, like the food)
Mostly Stable
You both do love each other, you love each other a whole lot. But often times, Izuku's anxiety affects you in negative ways if the both of you are fused. That means you're not always in sync all of the time and strong emotions can cause you both to unfuse if you couldn't calm him down.
Overall though, Mozuku is a good fusion. They're very quick thinking and work well in stressful situations due to their analytical nature. Openly, they're very positive and polite, although perhaps a little shy around new people. Bustling with energy all the time, they're well versed in catching and keeping attention which makes them a good leader in certain respects. Even if they seem unsure of their abilities sometimes.
Like Kamo, they're also quite powerful. Their intense strength and almost cat-like reflexes makes it hard for people to know what they're planning. Their ability to come up with strategies on the spot also helps in tight situations. It seems they've quickly mastered over their quirks as well, often using them in tandem.
Izuku's incredibly messy, curly hair makes an appearance no matter what. The distinct green either dyes the tips or roots or just leaves a tint.
Freckles are really only seen in the sun! It seems Mozuku's eyes turn a near neon green when OFA is in use.
Shōchi (this literally means 'consent')
Slightly Unstable
Two abused people sharing the same mind sounds a bit unhealthy, especially if you're flooded with a barrage of the thoughts that were just tucked away. It leaves you both exhausted after unfusing but it also leaves you wanting to hold one another. You still love each other but it's hard to keep a fusion together with so much emotional turmoil. On top of that, if you both were to become to become distress, all three quirks would be going haywire.
Shōchi is a calm, polite, and kind individual, despite being quite dense and often unable to read social cues and thinks of that nature. They're very open to telling people how they feel and how they see things. Gives sage advice and is very wise, an overall very logical person that don't really let their emotions rule their thinking. Not unless it involves their family anyhow. Articulate, sophisticated, and incredibly intelligent.
They're the second strongest of the fusions having to do with Mochi, as having three that can quirks all be used together. They have not only large scale attacks that rip away at the foundations of buildings and tear down large enemies, but also incredibly attacks that always hit their mark with pinpoint accuracy. Despite their elegance, their hand to hand combat strikes hard and heavy.
They are... Incredibly attractive. As I've made it clear on your own, you're very pretty and Shouto is good looking as well. So it's no question that Shōchi is absolutely gorgeous. Silvery streaks of white and red intersperse through your's no matter the hair type. Curling and twisting around each other similar to candy canes, twisted through out long hair and even used to tie everything back.
Shouto's burn remains around the left eye. The heterochromia is still there, although gray flecks decorated the blue of Shouto's left side and your eye color.
Back to the Ask:
I can imagine “Here Comes a Thought” with one of Mochi’s fusions along with EraserMic or EraserMight where they’re trying to just settle their thoughts. It’s nice as any of them could be plagued with all these thoughts and it can be dispelled when they make peace with them
Kamo’s near reverent protectiveness, their fear in losing their loved ones is soothed when they’re reminded that they’re strong. Reminded that they can take care of themselves and Kamo doesn’t always have to protect them or carry all of it on their shoulders.
Mozuku’s rather passive nature and doubt in their abilities stem from Izuku and when he finally understands that it’s his thoughts holding them back from being stronger than you already are. Guilt started to fill him but you assure him that you were there for him and would support him if he ever felt like he had again.
Shōchi’s childhood trauma couldn’t be solved in similar manner but it’s just the matter of accepting that it had happened. That you and Shouto are no longer in those situations, that you’re safe and overcame it all. Fighting your demons and fears are made just a bit easier when you have him to fight with you. It makes you more stable, hence making you more powerful.
