Major spoilers for fnaf Ruin

Did anyone else here think it was kinda obvious that the ‘Gregory’ asking for help in the sink hole in the Pizzaplex clearly wasn’t Gregory but was actually the Mimic. Like throughout Ruin you’ve just got Gregory whining and complaining being like ‘save me Cassie’ and practically begging for help. That’s already a huge red flag cus we know Gregory from SB. Gregory went around hunting and decommissioning Chica, Roxy and Monty just to get their special parts to upgrade Freddy. 

He was at one point actively hunting the animatronics down and now here ‘he’ is in Ruin whining to Cassie to set him free. If it really was Gregory down there then he’d probably be trying to get up himself and would likely run into Cassie in the Pizzaplex. 

Not to mention the other factors that point towards the fact that Gregory escaped the Pizzaplex. Like we know for a fact that the Princess quest ending is the canon ending to SB and we see that Gregory escapes the Pizzaplex (with Vanessa and the head of Freddy) and when collecting the comic pages the only one that doesn’t have a page is the Princess quest ending. Also the sword used in the Princess quest mini game is shown sticking out of the third Princess Quest arcade game. Like if it doesn’t get any more obvious I don’t know what does. 

To be honest ‘Gregory’ was very out of characters throughout Ruin which for me was a major red flag. Like this kid isn’t a wuss and yet the ‘Gregory’ aka the mimic pretending to be him, in the basement was acting like a huge wuss begging Cassie to ‘save him’. 

I do feel bad for Cassie though she clearly cares a lot about Gregory and the Mimic used that to manipulate her into setting it free. Not cool Mimic dude not cool.

Okay so! Since the news of Cassie's new design I've been freaking out and I dont want to bother my beautiful gf with this so I'm posting it here!! (she doesn't like comics and even if she tells me she loves my rants I've been at it for months and I pitty her soul)

I was thinking about her designs and to be honest I don't think they are really ugly? But I hate them with my soul because it's not how they look it's what they represent!! So I'm going to rant about it

We have:

My beloved! My emotional support in primary/middle school! She's cool and fun and won't take your shit but she's also not an asshole! Fun hair, cool pants, she's just perfect!! My favorite butch or tomboy or whatever you want to call it!!

Then (not in chronological order):

This is not my Cassie but she's cute so she may live!! I don't mind her being more stereotypically girly but I just don't think it fits her. I feel like they watered down her personality to being just "the girl in the team" and that PLUS the girly look and skirt and everything just feels kinda insulting to me. Veredict: She may live but this is not my girl!

And then we have HER [derogatory]:

Uncooperative Mean Girl™ that would have totally bullied people in middle school! They put her in the "conventionally atractive over sexualized crazy-girlfriend" go too box like almost every other female character when they grow up and it's just annoying.

I'm just praying they make her HER again instead of whatever that last one was and make her looks reflect that. (Also pleaaaseeee give her fun hair and cool pants I'm begging)

Does Cassie actually care about archeology beyond what she knows from it being her mom’s career?

Ooooh! That's such an interesting question, honestly.

So the main problem with Cassie's interests is that writers never let them show, since she's almost never given any personal life/hobbies outside of her superhero life. But there are a few instances where her personality does get that spotlight. Regarding archeology, the only instance I can think of that acknowledges it is in the 2011 Wonder Girl one-shot, and it's very brief.

I could rant about it, but the very brief and simple answer is that she does. According to one comic issue. So yes, if she had any more personality that wasn't superhero-ing, she would be a huge nerd in my opinion, bc it truly interests her. I think she's more interested in the History part of it all (again, judging by these two panels only), and she does care about it.

Of course, don't get me started on New 52 Cassie, because she seems to resent everything about her mom's career and likes stealing artifacts much more than learning about them or finding them herself.

Fine since literally everyone (read: no one) is begging me to say my pitch for an antman book, I’ll say it.

Scott and Cassie have made a deal: Cassie is (begrudgingly) going to college before she can decide if she wants to be a full time superhero as long as Scott tries to get his life together. Scott decides to start up a knock off heroes for hire type business called hired heroes, and on his first case he runs into Jack of Hearts, his old frenemy from his avengers days and he convinces Jack to join up with him because frankly he needs someone to help him pay rent. Darla shows up occasionally as Scott’s on again/off again girlfriend who’s trying to work through her current writers block by superheroing

Meanwhile, Cassie is miserable at college, as she torn between classes, studying, and her secret double life as a superhero that she’s trying to hide from everyone including Scott. Things get even more complicated when she uncovers a secret community of retired(?) supervillains who’ve come to florida to get away from their various nemesises. Her roommate is also a supervillain but this is admittedly just me projecting

He practically runs to you, ensuring his clothes are smoothed out and his hair is laid to perfection.

You step back when you press the record button and then get closer to him, putting your hand on his abs.

"You see this man?" you say with an extra dose of possessiveness in your voice. "Yeah, if you wanna get to him, you have to go through me first."

Rhys looks down at you with a smirk, nodding proudly at the fact that you're claiming him for everyone to see.

Your hands travel from his abs to his neck as you bring him down for a long, sweet kiss.

He grabs your hips, pulling you closer for a heated makeout session, but you pull back before he can take it further

“He’s the best big brother ever in this world.”

Rhys immediately lets go of you, taking a step back with a horrified look before he desperately looks into the camera, then back to you, who can't keep from laughing.

"Out of all your practical jokes, this has got to be the worst one ever," Rhys protests, shaking his head. "No, I'm not her brother. We're mated, and what we do is very far away from sibling stuff."

He says the last bit to the camera with a broad smile, his eyes twinkling mischievously.
