Fun fact: This was my first run with the Cintiq 16! Not drawing frequently meant constantly losing technique with my old tablet, and, for a while, that made me really insecure - reason why my first posts were mainly studies - and dreading the drawing process - it would take me hours to do a simple sketch or lineart cleanup, in contrast with the cintiq, which saves me so much time. I'm really grateful for my first tablet, we spent good moments together, but this was a step I personally felt the need to take. I think my drawings even look more mature now because I can finally draw as I always have traditionally, in total control of how I want things to go. Just a little rant on drawing tablets. This account was once created with the means to document my digital art journey, so here's a bit of an insight, for anyone interested. [🇵🇹] Não me conseguia decidir entre cyber-punk ou gótico-vitoriano, portanto apresento-vos ambas as versões. OC vampírica, dêem-lhe vocês um nome! Este foi o meu primeiro teste com a Cintiq 16! Não desenhar frequentemente era sinónimo de perder técnica no meu antigo tablet, o que durante muito tempo me fez sentir insegura - razão para a qual as minhas primeiras publicações serem maioritariamente estudos - e andar a adiar o processo de desenho ao máximo - pois levava horas a conseguir fazer um rascunho ou a limpar as minhas linhas, enquanto que com o cintiq poupo bastante tempo. Estou muito grata pelo meu 1º tablet, passamos bons momentos juntos, mas este foi uma mudança que pessoalmente senti necessidade de fazer. Penso que os meus trabalhos até parecem mais maduros agora, pois finalmente consigo desenhar como sempre o fiz tradicionalmente. Apenas um pequeno desabafo sobre tablets de desenho. Inicialmente esta conta servia para documentar o meu desenvolvimento enquanto artista digital, e portanto partilho esta experiência, para quem estiver interessado.

i have made.......... a slugcat oc. i dont rlly know much about the lore of rain world yet (havent gotten to the end yet so no spoilers sdjfhfdsj) but uh!! scrapper hangs out in the garbage wastes area and makes a bunch of lil contraptions and robots and stuff. also traps. many many traps. she really really doesn’t care for unwanted visitors.

I'm wondering what device you draw on, honestly, I don't even draw well on my phone, wasn't it difficult for you the first time?

I’m currently drawing with my ipad pro. 😃😃 It was weird the first time and I avoided using it for the first couple months after I got it(which was two years ago) but now I’m glad I have it because I can draw from my couch or bed. 😌😃😃
