Back in September, I found a new way for me to try out giving new designs to characters so I can plan things out a bit better but also figure out what I like and what I don't - as well as see what I wind up drawing more related to the new design.

Kanon, Mireille and Kotone are characters I am in the process of - or am playing around/thinking about - giving new designs or updated designs to. You'll also see that I'm starting to write down notes of my ideas as well.

This one heavily focuses on Kanon (so we'll see if they're the next one you see with a new ref or I finally finish the Vox one) though it's mostly "current day" whatever that time frame would be.

Maybe tumblr will appreciate my sticker wips more than insta did. I hope so cause I need someone to love my stickers as much as I do so I can actually finish them. I have a page of like 9 to render. This is the first one I made ans I call them Stabbybara. There is even room for me to put text in the bottom too. Which if you can call it cheating to use Canva I might just cheat it lol.

Also not me up for a solid hour and a half cause disabled means chronic pain and being afab means once a month fuk you and genetics say get wreked with PCOS. So why not post to tumblr? I feel like I'm starting to loosen up here which is good, right? In record time for me too!

It's October and it felt right to rework a design for him since he's kind of a horror related character. Or at least make up a reference for him because I never really dwelled into why exactly Tiny is so skittish being the way he is even into adulthood. So I guess this is providing backstory? Not really? He's supposed to look like he belongs to one of those kid character designs in the lineup which they all have stripes on their shirt, I don't think I've seen black with white stripes be done yet and I needed a way for it to match his fur color a bit more in his wolf form because he didn't have all that much black on his outfit before. Trying to go for that simplistic yet recognizable design. His hair starts off dark but then goes into a dirty blonde when he gets older, based off some designs some really nice people helped create for him. Tiny grows up to have a different personality than his kid self so I wanted to reflect that, design is still a wip I'm putting it as a placeholder for now since may change it later on once I grow more comfortable with it. Tiny deserves more than this I literally gave him the most random ass piece of clothing.
