anyways salty thoughts. dont expect me to be nice

this is the one problem not exclusive to the finale, god ed's character arc just. didnt do it for me at all. I excused it before cuz I thought it would pay off as the season went on but nope. he never had a genuine apology moment, just that youtuber apology like gag and the cat collar joke. like they literally show us how the crew was completely scarred by his actions but theyre later just completely fine with him on board???? and stede keeps being his biggest stan when I think he would have been like hey what the fuck!! im sorry I hurt you but I am not responsible for your actions and you hurt my crew whom I hold very dear!! I love ed but Fuck he really went too far those first episodes and he never makes up for it. they only ever focus on His Own self journey, not how he hurt and traumatized practically every other character.

"well, I think narratively izzy's death made sense but—" no!! no it fucking didnt!! im sorry but it was just lazy writing!! they didnt know what to do with him so whoops he gets shot in the dumbest way possible. like, this aint my first rodeo, it aint the first time ive seen a character start off on their character journey to happiness only for writers to give up on it and kill them off. it's a tiring fucking trope tbh and I really wish they hadnt fallen into this trap. like his death scene wasnt good either, if youre gonna do it at least focus on his relationship with the crew, you know, the people he came to accept as family? not the man Who Shot Off His Fucking Leg And Almost Killed Him? I know they had an important relationship but that shit should have been talked about way beforehand, it deserved closure. they should have acknowledged they werent good for each other and made peace with it. izzy deserved a death with people who actually made him happy. ALSO THEY BURY HIM ON FUCKING LAND?????? he spent his life at sea!!!! he is the most devoted out of everyone to being a pirate and you bury him next to your fucking inn???? fucking twats istg

lastly I swear they forgot stede is the main character. they forgot literally everything about how to write him. he gets No Focus in the finale, and every scene he is in is bullshit. I actually wanted to punch my screen every time there was a joke about him being incompetent or whatever. like, hello??? thought we left that shit in s1??? he had Multiple Episodes about learning to be a pirate and adjusting to his new life and gaining more skills but no. he is just silly old loserboy for his cool war criminal boyfriend now. literally no skills or experience whatsoever. ok sure yea thats totally how he acted the rest of the season. also the fuck is it with him staying behind to run the inn with ed?? wasnt the whole conflict last episode their different desires out of life, with ed wanting to start a normal life and stede wanting to be a pirate?? when the Fuck did he change his mind. who are you and have you done with my boy

honestly I feel bad because jenkins is actually a good writer and the whole fandom really expected a lot from a man making his second show, and I think there were a lot of budget cuts and production issues so I can see why it turned out this way. he is probably mad about this too, I bet the cast also, like even the acting in this episode didnt feel passionate, and thats saying a lot since these actors really love this show. im just frustrated. man. time to write fics ig

and like, the thing about the amsterdam james lore was that if they wanted a james redemption, they could have used that as an opportunity to soft launch it! "my dad took me to amsterdam and we actually had a good time, but after we got back home he started drinking again and things got bad again." i still dont think thats justification for jamie reconnecting with him, but at least we could have canon evidence he was an okay dad when sober. but no, they doubled down, and made trying to kill a main character somehow *not* the worst thing james had done

Yeah I think what's most crazy is that scene solidified in my own mind so many missing pieces in my own headcanoned Jamie lore. We learnt SO much in that scene and not one single piece of information pointed towards "this is a character who is going to not only recover but act as a non-negative presence in Jamie's life."

New information I gathered from the Amsterdam scene:

As you pointed out, physical/emotional abuse of his son and nearly murdering Beard are not the topmost crimes on James Sr.'s scorecard.

leading into, Jamie is a csa victim

Jamie doesn't remember it happening. we've discussed at length what that could stem from and yes there are multiple explanations but. well. uhh. none of them are good. i think.

Others disagree, and that's completely fine, but I very much think the scene is coded as This Is The First Time Jamie Has Told Anyone What Happened and Roy is Now the Only Person Who Has this Information.

At the time of taking Jamie to Amsterdam, James Sr. was trying to get back together with Georgie and playing up the "Superdad" routine

Others disagree with this as well, but I read that line as Jamie implying it was neither the first nor last time James had tried those tactics (and possibly been successful at one or more points, we don't know one way or another)

Georgie allowed Jamie to go to Amsterdam with James and then presumably allowed James to continue seeing Jamie afterwards (we're given no information to the contrary, anyway)

So taking all of that together, to me it's not just the confirmation that the abuse Jamie suffered at his father's hands was even more abhorrent than we thought or that Jamie's trauma runs deeper than we previously thought. It's also evidence that Jamie has never been in a position where he's felt comfortable with confronting that trauma and has yet to unpack all of the things he has gone through.

Furthermore, the scene hints that what we see at the end of s3 is (imo quite possibly) not the first time James has been in rehab or at least claimed to have sobered up or shown signs of recovery, only to fall back into his old ways shortly afterwards. This is indicated by Georgie allowing him to take their son out of the country, which (considering we meet her later in the season and get a sense of her character, including her deep love for her son) I cannot imagine her doing had James been obviously still a drunk. This is also why I personally believe Jamie hasn't told her what happened, because he continues to see his father after he returns. I just can't see Georgie allowing that had she known.

None of this sets the scene for a successful James recovery arc. In fact, for me it makes the whole thing worse and so unlikely to end for good because 1) Jamie forgives his father before even processing everything his father did to him, and without informing any of the people closest to him, let alone consulting an actual professional. This to me does not indicate Jamie is in the right mental place to be embarking on this new journey. 2) There is absolutely a more-than-plausible chance James Sr.'s current rehab stint will follow the same cycle as times previous: he's better for a while. he's superdad! until he's not. and Jamie as usual becomes collateral damage.

I therefore am forced to conclude Jamie could very well be opening himself up to more hurt and more pain at his father's hands, when he hasn't even dealt with his current backload of hurt and pain. If we were supposed to feel hopeful in the final scene where Jamie visits him--I have to say, because of what THEY told us and wrote about their backstory, I feel anything but.

Fuck it I'm gonna blab about another crossover fic i'm working on once i'm done with two souls

I dont care if it takes me years or if this fandom dies out (which it won't, tmnt is timeless)

But anyway.

It's called Pink Puppets, a crossover AU with a similar concept to Dagger From the Mirror (although i havent read it yet cuz i am scared)

It's going to ve reversed this time, with the Rise brothers being older because it's set after the movie and the 2012 boys remaining 15 years old (so kinda the same age as Mikey in the movie)

I was gonna use Draxum but i fell in love with the idiot so now I'm gonna use an antagonist that i had in plan for Two Souls season 3, that's why I was gonna write it after I finish Two Souls.

Basically that antagonist wants to replicate Draxum's warriors themselves, but don't want to go through the lengths to actually start doing it. They idolize Draxu and his beliefs and was angry that Draxum threw it all away to play family.

Kraang Subprime of 2012 gets involved and they discover there's countless of universes out there he can pull tirtles from.

He chose 2012.

It's season 3, a few days or a week from the fourfold trap (Karai escapes and is never seen again) episode and the bous are still about 15. This antagonist sees the brainworm in action and takes some for themselves, takong it home and modifying it before they snatch the brothers right in front of 12 April and 12 Casey.

They get dragged into Rise.

The brothers were imprisoned and one by one, a brainworm is forced into their brains. This is where the AU gets its name, the worms are pink and made the brothers' eyes pink.

The new modified brainworms aren't like Shredder's. It slowly influences the victim, making them the worse versions of themselves and think the antagonist is liek their parent or something, using their emotions against them.

12 Mikey is toxicly positive and brutal. He acts as if everything was just a game, he uses his kusagirama a lot, enjoying maling people bleed. He's dangerous and doesn't realize what he's doing is wrong. He's the new leader of the brainwashed gang, bossing his brothers around and they can't say no because of his little brother charm. He knows to emotionally manipulate people with his looks, which gives him a big advantage.

12 Donnie is a complete wreck. He's a ticking timebomb, he doesn't stop talking, doesn't mind his volume, doesn't care about his own wellbeing. He's destroying himself, he literally ignores his injuries if he gets one. 12 Mikey goes for a playful kill, toying with his victims while 12 Donnie always keeps them alive so he could experiment with them. He also uses his hidden blade a lot. He's twitchy and explodes very easily, making him a hard unpredictable opponent.

Then there's 12 Leo.

In this AU, you would expect his "bossiness" is gonna be the trait that gets amplified to be the worse, no, its his obedience. He's more like a puppet than his brothers. He's silent, completely silent, he never talks under the influence of the modified brainworm and follows every single order his brothers tell him to do. Unlike his brothers that would prolong death as much as possible, he strikes for the neck, immediately. He's basically the trump card, only used when things don't go as planned. He's hollow, emotionless, just a shell of his former self. Dead to the world and control by invisible strings.

What's funny is that despite the fact that their worse traits are amplified, they still love and care for each other. They're fiercely overprotective, they will stop the battle if one of them gets gravely injured, they'll take care of each others injuries.

That overprotectiveness is one of the reasons they still haven't got out of the worm's control, it was used against them.

And don't worry, i didn't forget about 12 Raph.

He escapes.

Remember that Raph centric AU i posted about? Yeah, this is it.

It was supposed to be 12 Mikey in thus position, but he's already got experience with dealing with his brothers turning evil, same goes for 12 Donnie, and maybe 12 Leo but he's the one that's evil, but not 12 Raph as far as I know.

12 Raph hasn't fought his brothers alone before.

Plus he already got a taste of the brainworm, why not fight back against his own fear of it?

So he runs away, stumbles upon the Rise turtles and pushes away his pride, beghing for them to help him save his brothers, and of course they do.

While the 2012 brothers cause chaos for the humans in New York with a subplot of trying to get 12 Raph to their side, the Rise brothers and their friends now have to deal with teens Mikey's age wanting murder and their brother who just wants them back.

This time, the Rise brothers have to be the responsibile older guys and the 12 boys the chaotic little shits.

(Don't worry, everyone is looking for them back in 2012)

Why YOU should go vote for Electro (TSSM) in @cartoon-character-competition

First off this is like the first time I have managed to get Electro into a competition which is a CRIME in itself already

You may be familiar with Electro from the usual Spiderman comics or movies but trust me tssm Electro is the best Electro ever.

Like LOOK AT THIS GUY HE FUCKIN ROCKS, HIS DESIGN IS SICK AS HELL!!!!!

and well this guy has been through a lot. He used to be an engineer at Dr Connors lab where they were studying and experimenting on radioactive eels. (probably not a good idea but ok) And well well after a work accident, Electro (previously known as Max) goes from

and well while his new look is sick as hell, lets just say it makes just trying to function properly really REALLY difficult and after being frustrated about no one being able to help and facing the possibiltity his life may never go back to normal, he runs off fuming.

And what does one angry man just turned into living walking form of electricity do? Buy coffee of course

(this is how he looks fully suited up and with a disguise outfit on top btw )(which is why he looks a bit different here)

Anyways he realizes he cant even drink “a measly cup of coffee” anymore and freaks out, alerting peter parker who chases after him after electro freaks out storms off.

So what happens next?

- Peter attacks him thinking he’s a threat (he’s not hes just freaking out and pissed off)

- Realizing his mistake Peter tries to help but Electro now refuses and is ultimately defeated

- He’s sent to a mental institution to recover and it seems he had but nope as soon as he’s out he’s out for revenge

- He teams up with the sinister six, gaining both a mentor/father figure in Doc Ock (leader of the sinister six)

- Is defeated again and no longer pretends to try to recover at the mental institution when he’s sent back and looses faith in his new mentor

- Is recruited back into a new Sinister six and recovers that faith again in his mentor

- Once again defeated and is abandoned by said mentor figure and almost loses his life if it wasnt for Peter saving him.

- From then on he’s sent to an insane asylum and well I sure wish we knew what happened next

BECAUSE WE DONT BECAUSE TSSM WAS CANCELLED AT SEASON 2 WHEN WE WERE SUPPOSED TO GET AT LEAST LIKE 5

so yeah not only is Electro’s story tragic, it doesnt even get a PROPER ENDING

but lets focus on the positives for a bit shall we?

like LOOK AT HIM!!!!! he’s got both, the silly expressions and beyond pissed off ones, a true balance, he’s both a bit of goofy loser and cool as hell

oh and btw he’s trans coded as hell

first off unlike the other villains who dont mind whether you call them from their actual name or villain alias, Electro has a strong distaste over his old name. Angrily calling out people who dont refer to him as Electro.

Not only that but he’s seen and treated as an outcast. That is until joining the sinister six, a band of outcasts just like him where he’s even eager to join back.

Plus he just radiates trans swag (also a a majority of the tssm fandom has come to a agreement that yeah electro is trans and is in no way cis )

LIKE GO TBOY GO!!!! KILL!!!!!!

Also theres even subtle nod of him even being queer as when he laments on what he wanted to do before the accident, he says “you know i had plans before all this, go back to college, meet someone, have a LIFE”

You may have noticed he never specifies whether he wants to meet a girl or a guy which like 🏳️‍🌈 ?

(also in the comics, Electro is canonically bisexual so....)

so yeah I know this site loves the owl house and belos is a good villain and all but he’s a terrible, completely irredeemable, asshole of a person and cmon would you really let electro lose to a guy like that? After all the guy’s been through?

Plus a win for a electro is a win for trans/queer people all around (has made me cry and sob over his story as I relate to a lot of the aspects in his story personally as a queer/trans person and has made me so so attached to him) (has made me be so proud of being trans and give me hope about officially transitioning someday) (funny enough he actually helps me cope with my gender dysphoria A LOT and he has geniuely helped me so much and he means so so much to me)

Now before we go forward Im gonna say something controvercial:Magneto is NOT on the list cause I dont consider him a villain outside of his first two appearences

10.Lady Deathstrike:Former lover of Wolverine who has gotten cybernetic enhancements to avenge her father .I wish she was in more then one two parter

9.Cortez-A mutant acolyte of Magneto who attempts to kill Magneto and frame the X Men for not going far enough .I just love how deranged this guy is

8.Omega Red -A living killing machine made by the Soviets and enemy of Wolverine.Overshadowed by another Wolverine foe but hes still very intimidating

7.Mystique:A shapeshifter and leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants.Very much an opurtunistic character ,and is fascinating due to being the mothers of Rogue ,Nightcrawler and Graydon Creed

6.Mr Sinister -A basically immortal mad scientist ,Mr Sinister is the second biggest villain of the show.....And confession time,initially I didnt like him,finding his arc in season 2 so so,but a mixture of Christopher Brittons cold performance ,his unique design and his appearences in season 4 and 5 (Which showcase him working with Apocalypse ,aiding the heroes and showcasing his orgins ) have warmed me up to him and am excited to see what he has in store for the upcoming X Men 97

5.Juggernaut -Charles Xaviers bullying step brother who through magic has become a unstoppable super strong brute .His motives are simple he wants Xavier to pay for precieved slights against him,when in actuality both were victims of his cruel exploitive father

4.Shadow King-A powerful telepath whose mind was imprisioned by Xavier and now seeks a new body.The villain so powerful and evil he lead to Xaviers efforst to found the X Men .I find him an existentially terrifying villan and sad he only appeared twice

3.Graydon Creed -Head of the Mutant hate group Friends of humanity and son of Sabretooth and Mystique .Of the non powered villains he is the one who stands out for just being a vile realistic bigot

2.Sabretooth -Wolverines nemesis ,a sadistic and cunning villain,whose own son Graydon is terrified of him.Very menacing and I really like the performance of Don Francks

1.Apocalypse -The closest thing the series has to a big bad , a centuries old power mad mutant .This guy is just entertaining ,bombastic and a wonderful performance by veteren scene chewer John Colicos

What’s your new Anger? (this is the inaction to tell me I am a big fan of your crit posts. You make them consider and understandable while not being condescending to the reader (so so affectionate :) ))

OHOH BOY Heres the thing, I dont really post crit for much. Usually I will like and reblog some valid posts that come up naturally and if its really a problem for me I tend to leave easy. But Thomas Sanders is killing me and takeover is a bad influence /j

But basically he reminds me of the worst coworkers you've had and he's just. Terrible at the job he ASSIGNED HIMSELF. He brands himself as a youtuber. He promises videos for one of his most popular endeavors which was lowkey a rebranding after vine was shut down and he was no longer a popular comedian on vine. And then he abandoned his largest project. And that wouldn't be a problem! If he did what majority of other cc's do. So many youtubers leave behind what made them popular, the move on the other things because it makes them happy and allows them to continue to bring content. There's usually some fans who are angry at this move but atleast most of those youtubers are transparent about this change. They communicate with their community setting the expectations going forward and they stick with them! Thomas has not done this.

He promised us a large amount of work going into making a season finale, and then making another season and he might not be able to push out content at the rate he has done before but thats because he's putting everything into the finale

But we've had very little sander sides content since then. And these have their own problems as being short and "not being part of the main storyline" or being blatant ads. But Thomas is still cranking out other content, he took up tiktok where he is reliving his vine era, he plays games on a side channel. He streams but only for people that pay him. We took the long wait and said fine. Its nothing these fans haven't done before. But then he goes and months and months after he promised us the finale, he tells us he has began working on the script. What was he doing in those months? How is he only just starting bare basics of this thing we have been waiting on forever. Can you imagine this in a professional setting? You're coworker hell your boss has major procrastination on important projects and refuses to give you a timeline? But they still expect to be paid and continue their job while they are doodling in their office.

He attempts to reason this away with not having a lot of people and the pandemic inhibiting the team from filming. First of all they haven't hadnt had anything to film with the finale because they are still working on the script. The pandemic is no longer a major world problem right now. And when it was that wouldn't of had to stopped planning or filming, it might be harder to do with only one person there but it is possible and manageable!

When he does have his team it boggles my mind! I was in schools news in middle school, we worked in teams of 5-7. Each team was pushing out a video every week/every two weeks. Each video had an original hand crafted intro that was never done before on another episode in our show. We had multiple skits. We had announcements and weather and what we were having thst day. We had news anchors thst led us into each segment. This was all planned, filmed and edited by the team. Was it perfect? No but we had content constantly coming out with completely original ideas everytime while we were still learning how to edit videos. We spent an hour every school day on these, we also split those hours with assignments we had due. We cranked this stuff out in a max total of 14 hours. These tiny 6th graders did amazing work despite being children who are using Adobe for the first time and having such little time. This experience has made me more understanding of what exactly these youtubers do, its hard time consuming work. And this understanding is what makes me so angry about Thomas not having any progress in the finale. This absolutely could have been done by now. This absolutely could have been done months ago.

Tldr: Thomas sanders refuses to communicate effectively with his fans and to work efficiently on this project. The fact that this has been going on for over 900 days is absolutely atrocious. This is his job, one that he signed up for. If he was working for anyone in any field including this one he would have been fired. We deserved better than this and deserve better than him continuing to drag this out.

Listen I hate to say it but I KNEW IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!! GOD!!! 😭😭😭

I just need to come out here and say this but first of all I dont think Rick replacing himself was really a bad thing,,,, like at all LMAO especially knowing that it was Rick who made him I mean it was more than just a replacement he was made to be the grandpa he wants for morty but he just knows he can’t be right now.

I can fully understand how it would absolutely feel like a betrayal to Morty but looking at it as a viewer I mean Rick was fully spiraling, to me his intentions were completely pure. Also I thik im just grateful they gave us a time stamp for when the swap was made so we didnt have to wonder forever how much of Rick this season was Rick. He still did piss master, he still kept Jerry blissfully ignorant just out of good will, he STILL WILLINGLY WENT TO THERAPY. All these wouldve been out the window if theyd overlooked that detail.

Him recognizing that he was starting to go off the deep end again and not only removing himself but having his familys best interest in mind ( “Im no good to anyone until I resolve this” ) while doing so AND literally while mad at Morty is still INSANE character growth from where we started but this way is REALISTIC character growth. It was WEIRD how black and white the difference between literally yhe last two episodes and even just the rest of the season (which has famously been Rick in his peak good grandpa career) was. At some points it felt like I was reading fanfiction.

(Why do his knees look like that oh my god) Rick is fully capable of recognizing where he can be better, he always has been, he is not stupid *however* he is CLUTCHING onto the idea of being more logical than sentimental by the fucking neck rn. Men will literally build an anatomically flawless ai to be the perfectly calculated percentage nicer to their grandson and to be the man they wish they were before just going back to therapy.

Someone else mentioned this but ill also point out how much I appreciated just seeing Rick working? Like just in his space completely focused building shit with his brain and hands that hit the fucking spot. 9/10 times we only get the finished product and idk if its just me but I love when we SEE Rick living up to the Rick Sanchez tm reputation.

And Morty... my sweet summer child. It is not at all a shiny new take to say oh he’s so done with ricks shit we all know that but I really really want to point out something that I’m not really sure what point I’m trying to make with but have we noticed almost a switch morty flips when on adventures? He cried because Christmas was ruined like not even a full 6 hours before he was fully ready to kill a man while looking him in the eyes. Maybe the two were cause and effect idk bht I think that’s definitely something present in other episodes too this sorta “just get it done” attitude.

Also how much he sounded like rick this ep? That whole “don’t be too flattered he’s been actively trying to die” sounded EXACTLY like a Rick line I literally had to play it again. And the complete apathy for robo rick wanting to die until he ACTUALLY lunged himself into the void was also just textbook rick bullshit. Like grandfather like goddamn grandson.

The ending to me was a little disappointing tbh I think I was hoping for a more,,, structured? Cliffhanger? Like we dk what’s gonna happen in this storyline instead of the introduction to a new storyline yk? MAYBEEE I’m just salty we have to wait another year for more you can’t prove anything.

Rick being borderline manic ab RP at the end was my favorite it’s nice to see him just rant ab anything really and like not make some bullshit elaborate Halloween house to take his anger out but just legit vent ab what this guys been doing to him for the past fucking 40 years. I didn’t even notice the ep was over when the credits rolled in my mind we were only like 10 minutes in and I lost my MIND when mr poopy butthole pulled up again good to see he’s thriving (kinda)

On a final note when he called him Rick prime please let me know if I’m off but is that not an internet term for him? Like the fandom came up with it? Rick and morty writers are tumblerinas confirmed question mark?

When Marcus says "you have 30 seconds to leave" you perk up "where is the exit?" you ask making him call for someone named Grace "Grace please lead the lady to the front door" Grace nods "Im sorry for breaking into your house, i didnt mean to" you say voice breaking slightly.

Grace's hand falls onto your back before she starts leading you to the door, you exit the living room but not before hearing "damn that is one pretty woman" and a thud

You reach the front door and Grace opens it "thank you for visiting, hope to see you again soon!" she beams face twitching slightly "thank you Grace" you softly say before exiting the house and walking through the garden.

You walk through the park seeing happy couples and feeling your heart crack.

Time skip till after the fight

"why did y/n just leave like that? she has always helped us, what changed?" Allison asks concerned for the girl who is like a sister to her "Five what did you do?" Viktor asks him making Five scoff "i just turned her down, she was getting on my nerves!" he tells his siblings

Fei scoffs making her siblings turn to her "the girl that left and looked dead inside? the little one crushed her heart" she tells her siblings, Sloane puts her hand on her heart "Oh that poor thing, i should find her and bring her here!" she says making Marcus nod "yes she could also give us extra info on that awful family" he says straightning up his tie

"What was that?" Ben asks Marcus "nothing" Marcus quickly defends himself making Ben clench his jaw "sure number one" Ben spits that last part

Sloane quickly grabs a coat and grabs an extra one "I dont know her size so im just borrowing a jacket of yours is that okay?" she asks Alphonso making him nod before Jayme elbows him "Im not fat" he defends himself making Sloane giggle "i know that silly this jacket is massive though, why did you buy it?" she replies making Jayme nod "good i would've killed you"

Sloane grabs onto Marcus his arm and pulls him with her, Marcus sends a smirk Ben's way before lifting his head up highly and snatching the jacket from Sloanes hand throwing it on the coat hanger "wait" Sloane says "Fei where is she?"

You sit down next to the entrance to a hotel called Obsidian, you slightly shiver before feeling something land on your skirt covered thighs "you look cold" a smooth voice says "you should put it on or you might freeze there, love"

You look up and see the guy from earlier now sporting a bruise around his eye "Marcus right?" you ask making him nod "yes thats me, now put the coat on" he says again making you put on the sparrow blazer, Marcus rolls his sleeves up slightly before sitting down next to you.

"You left pretty easily back there" he speaks up after a moment of silence, his eyes focussed on you in his blazer, Sloane peaking out from behind a bush secretly spying on her brother, a crow sitting next to her also watching.

"Yeah well i wasnt wanted, didnt want to be scolded like a child" you say trying to sound joking but your voice comes out shaky, you turn your head to look at him only to notice him staring at you.

"I know we just met but you should come home with me, i dont want you to freeze to death and we could use info on the people you came with" he says "nothing personal, i really hope you come willingly"

"Do you have hot cocao?" you ask him softly making him smile "fuck yeah we got anything you want" he replies making you smile back softly, he jumps up and offers his hand to you, you go to grab it but are interupted.

"y/n!" Five says walking over his family trailing behind him, you roll your eyes and take Marcus his hand who pulls you up with ease "your too late, pretty girl is coming with me" Marcus teases him with a smirk Five's eyes twitch "im not letting you kidnap her" he sneers making Marcus laugh

"y/n is coming with me willingly, isnt that right?" he asks you making you nod "i know when im not wanted, Five" you tell him making him scoff "not wanted? really, not fucking wanted?" he asks offended

you scoff "Can't you understand a simply 'no'? Do you want me to speak in Italian? Spanish? Greek? I wished the handler killed you!" you repeat Five's words to him making him take a step back, he opens his mouth to speak but Marcus is faster "you should walk. the. fuck. away." the taller man says, venom filling his voice

FLASH BACK to before blinking to the present

You turn to Five while waiting for the others to show up "When we get back do you uhm.. maybe wanna go get some coffee with me?" you ask him making him roll his eyes "what like a date?" he asks making you nod, he scoffs "no" he replies making you take a step back, you open your mouth to say something but he puts his hand up "Can't you understand a simple 'no'? Do you want me to speak in Italian? Spanish? Greek? I wished the handler killed you" he tells you right before Diego runs up

FLASH BACK OVER

Five scoffs "no" he says making Marcus chuckle before he starts walking away, pulling reader with him who has a hard time keeping up with his long steps, Five blinks in front of them "so what your betraying me now?" he asks you making you look away "you betrayed me first, Five, not once did you reject me or tell me you didnt like me flirting with you and giving you all my affection, and then you just slam me down? And what? You expected me to just run back to you after you crushed my heart?" you demand, a tear rolling down your eye

"Listen y/n and me we need to leave" Marcus says, its then Sloane runs up "yeah we need to leave" she says before grabbing your hand and pulling you with her "im Sloane, you and me? we will be bestfriends!" she beams making you beam back

Five glares at Marcus "i will kill you" Five threatens making Marcus laugh "sure little buddy, would love to see you try" he replies with a smirk before he starts following the two girls

Sloane points at random things and tells you about them making you nod and hum, when you reach the building Sloane turns to you "Ben hes a bit... wary of strangers so dont mind him" she says with a smile

In the living room you are greeted by the other four siblings Alphonso elbows Jayme who is standing next to him and she straightens up "welcome back your majesty" she says sarcastially making Alphonso scoff "we are supposed to be nice to her, she would be a good add on to our choatic duo, make it a trio" he scolds her making you giggle

Marcus his eyes shoot towards you with a love struck look on his face "Siblings please get out so i can question our guest" he says after clearing his throat and sitting on a chair, when his siblings leave he gestures to the couch across from the chair he is on

You sit down and he calls out for Grace "get the lovely lady a hot cocao please" he asks grace making her nod and smile "so glad to see you again" she beams making you smile back at her

You shiver lightly "you cold darling?" he asks making you nod "just a little, but the hot cocao will warm me right up" you reply with a smile, he frowns "i cant have my special guest be cold" he tells you while getting up and walking to the fire place and throwing some wood on it making the fire get slightly bigger

He sits down in front of the fire and holds his arm up, you get up and sit next to him, his arm wraps around your shoulder softly pulling you into him "better?" he asks making you nod "much"

You rest your head on his chest making him sigh in relief "i would never do that y'know?" he asks making you look up at him "what do you mean?" "i would never treat you like that" he says looking back at you

You burry your head into his chest making him smirk "i got hot cocao!" Grace beams walking into the living room before putting two cups down in front of you and marcus "Im going back to god now" she says before walking off

"God?" you ask Marcus making him frown, he gets up pulling you with him before he starts following grace, you trail behind him

When you enter the basement you see Marcus reaching out to a big flying orb, you stop time running over to him using your speed, his hand is about an inch away from the orb and you turn him around before letting time go back again

Marcus his hand falls onto your shoulder "how?" he asks "you cant just touch random flying balls!" you scold him "you couldve died!" you hug him making him freeze "im sorry Darling, your absolutely right" he says before placing a peck on your forehead

You punch his chest before pulling away "stupid men" you mutter softly before running back into the living room, Marcus runs behind you "YOU ARE REALLY FAST" he yells at you making you giggle before falling infront of the fireplace again

"its my gift" you beam at him when he finally reaches the living room again, he is panting and out of breath "gimme a moment sweetheart" he says with his hands on his knees

When he finally catches his breath again he sits down next to you "so.." he trails off making you look at him "so.." you mock him making him chuckle

"i think the people you came with caused that thing down stairs" he tells you making you nod "we didnt mean to!" you pout, his hand holds your cheek and his thumb carresses your bottom lip "i know honey i know" he coos

Something hits him in the back of the head making him scoff before he turns around and sees Five "what was the point in that?" he asks the smaller guy while standing up

"Five why are you here?" you ask him while grabbing Marcus his arm and using him to pull yourself up "i love you" Five says taking a step towards you making you take a step back

"You dont get to do this" you tell him making him scoff "i love you y/n, just come with me please?" he asks making you shake your head

Marcus softly pulls you behind him "your trespassing kid, you should leave before i make you" he tells Five with a glare "get ur paws off my girl" Five growls out making Marcus laugh

"you rejected her, she isnt your girl" Marcus snarls

"okay wait, you guys can fight later but like.. Shouldnt we do something about that flying orb?" you say

Five clicks his tongue "what flying orb?" he asks curious, Marcus scoffs but starts walking towards the basement, your hand in his

"that orb" Marcus says when you enter the basement "you guys caused it when you came here" Five steps forward and goes to touch it but you stop him "dont touch it unless you wanna die" you tell him

He looks back at you then glares at where your hand is connected to Marcus's hand "i think i know what this is" Five trails off before jumping away

You roll your eyes before pulling your hand away from Marcus making him worried, his worry doesnt last long when you throw yourself into his arms with soft sobs

"oh sweetheart dont cry" he coos "i got you" he whispers before kissing your temple "hes a scumbag" you sob out

When your sobs stop marcus softly lifts you up and wraps your legs around his waist before walking you back to the living room where he lays down on the couch

"today must've been hard on you my love, go take a nap, we can talk tomorrow" he says before kissing your forehead

It happened when Lady Jesus took over poor kaida completely, locking her in a mental cage in Kaida's mind. When Kaz and Oliver went to caldera to save Skylar and kaida, starting to lose luck in doing so. Kaida had thought of a shit ton of ways to escape, but Lady jesus made the cage harder for it to unlock for kaida. When Lady jesus was distracted by arguing to her mother about her new look, kaida had enough time to escape and kill Lady Jesus. She had realized that to kill a rook, you have to break their heart. Now the two are in a mental battle between each other. As kaida was beating L.J, Lady Jesus had other plans. The entity slashed the human girl's throat and stabbed her over and over until she couldn't move anymore. She had succeeded her mission. To kill the villain, Gargoyle's, child that had his powers of dreams. (I'll explain this one another time, if you'd like). However, Lady Jesus had been banished to The Land because it wasn't the right child that had Gargoyle's powers. And now, with kaida telling Oliver that she loves him, died.

Oliver takes kaida in his arms and puts her on a gurney as Kaz did the same to skylar. "You take care of skylar, ill take care my darling" "on it" and so, the two boys try to heal the girls. Skylar ended up surviving, however, kaida did not. "Kai? Darling? Kai! Kaida!" Oliver yelled her name, trying to shake her awake with no avail. "Kiss her" Kaz and Skylar say at the same time. "What?" "KISS HER!" everyone in the whole hospital shout, shocking the boy. And so, Oliver kisses her. True loves kiss will definitely help. Kaida's heart monitor was now beeping, but Kai still not up. "Kaida! Wh-" "She has to kill the rook in her mind before she can wake up again" "how long will that take?" Oliver asked Skylar. "Days, weeks, months. It's depends on what kind of rook. But, since it's Lady Jesus, Kai might not wake up for a long while."

Damn Damn Damn😏🖤❤️‍🔥 I don't know if it went through but I read the first Stefan elena katherine fic loved every moment only thing I would like to see more I want Stefan to conquer more kinda how bonnie masters kai in your fics and I want to see him TRULY let go maybe some ripper dont get me wrong always love the edging anticipation you fo for his character gonna make a seperate one for telling you how much I LOVE the smut scenese and the difference between his curiosity with Katherine and Unbridled love for Elena and only you can write it no one understands his character all sides, layers of it like you Zal. The New York Victorian esque ball so like Stefan to do all that for his godess Elena super hot her claiming her Greek God in the bookcase we all love atonement 😏🥰and yes it perfectly goes with Stelena, reminds me will you ever write a part 3 to that Stelena fic with water or something like that I love the old times tension and lust sexual tension forbidden etc. Stefan and Katherine you make her way more interesting the way she was in season 2 but wayy more fucked up reeking havoc with the men like it was supposed to be done pretty cool still want to drown her I want Stefan to get his satisfaction of conquering her fucking her than killing her I'm pretty sure she wouldn't mind going out that way just something to think about not True Blood like though ew. You always have epic ideas also I understand Katherine's the older vampire but I really want Elena to kick her ass and get Stefan back actually fight for him like she's meant to maybe bring some of her human bravery not "training" with Alaric BS but actual guts like season 2. LOVED the argument was so amazing how I could hear their voices, and the Gifs went perfectly! These fics sometime hit home though I had a male won't say katherine she's too timid/ selfish to describe him more like a lighter Rosetta when I read that fic or bonkai but less dark definitely know what it's like to have someone fuck with your body and mind but you give you a high from it cause it's all you know but you eventually realize it's sick and he's sick and your sick that line REALLY got me your writing perfectly captures those relationships without romanticizing it you simply write it for what it is I LOVE it. Yeah, that's definitely being worked up to, it's just a bit of a longer path because in a way, when Stefan truly let's go that's a huge win for Katherine and that's something Stefan will fight instead of just do but once he does conquer her, that's going to get dark because he doesn't love her so how is she going to handle him letting go and giving in and still not giving her his heart? She's going to lose it, haha. Which is another thing, Katherine is built up to be this master manipulator and planner and always being one step ahead but she is completely irrational when it comes to Stefan, so.

It's funny that you bring this up, not that I was going to do this, but as I'm writing this and as I was writing about no humanity Stefan and Elena, I was like, they need to tell me how dark they can handle because I remember writing a really dark BK fic because people kept asking for a dark fic and then I got responses like this was too dark, Zal, and I was like LOL k my bad.

What do you think about the fact that the Duffers actually thought about permanently killing Max off?

I sometimes think the main characters have too much plot armor and some of them should be killed off. I personally would have killed off Hopper and Steve, not because I dislike them but it's just getting too much with fake deaths as well. Hopper should have died in S3 imo, and Steve's surviving bat attacks while Eddie died was a cringe. Especially knowing they added Eddie's character into the show so they wouldnt have to kill off characters like Steve in the first place.

Idk maybe losing Max and Hopper at the same time would be too much for El's pain and Lucas's character (he's also the only black main character so the implications here would be kinda bad) but at the same time, the fake deaths just are getting too much. Now we also expect Max to be saved. Well she technically died and her mind isnt there anymore but probably El will try to save her the next season.

I am conflicted about this situation because I just dont want any character to die ofc but is no one going to die anymore? Idk, seems kinda boring and kills the stakes for me tbh. Stranger Things doesnt have to be GoT like the Duffers claim but if youre avoiding killing some of your main casts, it becomes boring at some point.

I wouldnt kill off characters like Lucas, Will and Mike (for obvious reasons) but it would be better if they truly killed characters like Steve and Hopper off tbh.

I think the Duffers always knew that they wanted Max to be the catalyst for El's arc in s5, much like they wanted Eddie to be the catalyst for Dustin's arc, and I think they made the choice not to kill Max because I think the weight of not killing Max, but the fact that El couldn't bring her back completely, couldn't save her in the way she should have been able to, weighs more heavily on El herself with the whole focus on her powers this season and whether she defines herself and a superhero or a monster or neither, than outright killing Max would have. Because I think killing Max, while El would feel guilt over it, would not necessarily be her own failing. It would have just meant that Vecna got to Max before El could, but the fact that El used her powers to save Max and it wasn't enough, that's going to come into big play in El's psyche going into next season. I know they also said Max is going to play a key role in getting to Vecna, so while I would normally agree that not killing your characters is a cop out, I think in this case, this uncertainty we're left with about Max kind of matches the rest of how s4 was left, and it sets up the trajectory of s5.

I do agree that Eddie's death, at least the way it was written, felt cheap because I think even if they knew they were going to kill Eddie, it could have been done more tastefully. If he had thrown himself in front of Dustin to protect Dustin from the bats, that would have made a lot more sense. They definitely gave Steve a more believable situation to die in, and I think that scene should have been reserved for the person who was going to die.

I think, though, since no new characters are being added in for s5, the stakes are going to have to be raised a bit, because any deaths that happen are going to be coming from characters that have had significant roles for more than just one season.
