i haven't been truly shaken by a piece of media in a long time

but fionna and cake's episode "Jerry" is just terrifying and the suspense is done masterfully well.

I interpreted it as the moment right after the Lich wished for the extinction of all life, and we can see that happen in the moment fionna is watching Ice King's tapes and he turns into a skeleton before the tape cuts. Like his last moments there on film before him and all of his friends, all of existing life, would die.

It's a cut that I had to watch a couple times just to make sure I was seeing it right.
