a/n: eras marked with a ♡ are fan-favorite or viral hairstyles!

survival show/hellevator & i am not

debuted with a natural dark brown to go with the natural-ish colors the other members had

not the healthiest it’s ever been since she had dyed her hair in the past but it was pretty close!

juyeon said during this time that although she did like to dye her hair, she really loved natural colors on people

ariel era!

third musketeer of the redhead trio during my pace (felix & jisung)

stays lovedddd the red. she was easy to spot at events and often had other fandoms asking “who’s the girl with the red hair?”

tried really hard to hide her new color and did a great job until the few days before the album release when she posted a photo that had one (1) stray hair on her shirt

back to brown!

somehow had really healthy hair this era? luscious and long and beautiful even after the red

faded into black by the end of the era

also styled her hair mostly straight this era in contrast to the ariel curls of my pace

she was soooo girlfriend during i am you era (≧∀≦)

clé 1: miroh ♡

juyeon’s favorite dye so far; the ombré

miroh also had a natural hair kinda vibe minus jeongin so juyeon got to have best of both worlds - natural color and dyed

she also got to style it really curly most of the time which was a huge plus

played a huge part of why she gained a lot of her popularity during miroh era

clé 2: yellow wood, double knot, & clé: levanter

no dye for these comebacks :(

for side effects juyeon dyed over the remnants of the ombré with a dark brown to fade into her natural color.

by double knot her hair was fully back to black. styling was usually lazy curls if not straightened.

levanter era came around and juyeon said she was getting antsy to dye her hair again. at the time she mentioned blue, pink, or another round of red. however, she actually didn’t do any of these colors next.

blonde juyeon stopped the space-time continuum. stay twitter was in a frenzy. you would have thought that someone died. someone probably did honestly

god tier comeback with god tier looks. god’s menu era was such a time to be alive.

after having her natural hair for the past few comebacks juyeon was so excited to be a blondie!!

stays were wondering what she’d do after the blonde as it became more brassy color by the end of this era, which is how stays were literally fed by the back door comeback

in life

blueyeon? are we kidding?

started out as a really vibrant royal blue color but as it started lightening it became more of a teal.

juyeon held on to this blue hair for as long as she could until you could almost see the bleach underneath :( she loved the blue

almost as iconic as her red hair era but just not quite there. yet you can still find blueyeon stans talking about her impact to this day

no easy & oddinary

and would you believe it or not, she went back to black.

somewhat healthy? certainly a little fried from the blonde but it was not falling out so that was a win.

she actually went back to black immediately before they went on kingdom, which is when she found out that most people agreed she had a whole different vibe with black hair.

maxident ♡

finally!! short hair juyeon!

after years of stay begging for short hair juyeon, not only did she deliver but she served.

lots of buns off-stage in this era. something about short hair made her wanna put it up more.

it was black for 90% of this era and then one day it was brown?? cute either way!

her comment sections in this era was actually ridiculous and honestly a little cringe but stay were serious about showing their love for the bob

5 star & rock star

during 5 star her hair was a more chocolate-y color from the tail end of maxident era before she went back to black again for rock star (are we seeing the pattern here?)

while juyeon did like the short hair it was certainly just a comeback style for her and she secretly decided to start growing her hair back out the day after she cut it

during the gap between maxident and 5 star (october 2022 - june 2023) she let the bob do its thing until it hit her shoulders and then she started wearing extensions

juyeon’s hair also grows like a weed so the divide between the extensions and her natural long hair is hard to find

now in rock star era it seems that her hair is completely grown out to her usual natural color and length

Okay so today whilst walking my dogs I crossed two breeds of creep (plus we had the feeling we were watched in the forest before crossing the two creeps) so to de-stress I decided to see how many song credits each member of stray kids had on Spotify and what Spotify considered their albums + Circus so here we go:

The albums are:

Mixtape

I am NOT

GO LIVE

IN LIFE (minus the songs on GL)

ALL IN (minus the songs that are just translations)

NOEASY

ODDINARY

N°8-7: Lee Know and Seungmin with 8 songs.

N°6-4: Hyunjin, Felix and I.N. with 9 songs each.

N°3: Han with 79 songs.

N°2: Changbin with 82 songs.

N°1: Bang Chan with 85 songs.

I have to note that 3RACHA might actually have one more song each as I may have accidentally skipped a song, however the ratio of songs for the three would stay the same.

Now onto some things I noticed as I did this:

1. Changbin is exactly in the middle of both Chan and Han who have three more and three less songs respectfully. Not very important but I just found it quite neat.

2. I did this in reverse chronological order and for a while Changbin was ahead of the rest of 3RACHA so I think its how hands on Chan was during their first albums that really changed the game for it.

3. This links to the previous statement but I now have this hypothesis that Changbin may have the most song writing credits of the three for skz songs in the future. And honestly I'm kinda happy since that might mean Chan won't overwork himself as much although I hope that it doesn't mean Changbin's overworking himself either.

Afterall, writing songs is hard work and the sheer amount of songs they pump out on a yearly basis is absolutely mind-blowing. Like ever since I became Stay we've had: a Christmas special, a mini album, a single and a world tour. Last time my three favourite rock bands released an album with all original songs was: 2018 (before skz even debuted), 2016 and 2010.

Thus, I really hope neither of the three end up overworking themselves a ridiculous amount, especially if it's with the mentality of giving another a break. And I know I'm being way too hopeful for this industry but it's better than nothing.

Not to mention the possibility that Chan writing less songs could be a hint of writer's block/burnout so let's just hope that's not the case.

4. Jisung got behind Changbin and Chan quite a bit (around 7/8 songs) during GO LIVE/IN LIFE era so I was wondering if something happened around that time but I think I around the time they did a lot more solo projects so it would make sense.

5. Chan is aparantly the only one to have produced skz songs that appear on the albums so if this were a list of who had the most credits for participation altogether he'd definitely be a lot higher that the others. However, since a lot of the time he produces its when he also had a job in writing the song (not always though, best example being Muddy Water) it would have made this process a lot messier.

6. Talking about producers, I have found the most reoccurring one to be VERSACHOI (although I may be wrong) and what I find most interesting is how they're always listed for producing and songwriting which really blurs this whole thing as I know some producers also ask for songwriting credit since when you produce you sometimes make last minute changes to the songs and henceforth some producers ask for writing credits and that's perfectly reasonable. Sometimes it's just for corporate though but that's usually with songs conceived to be world wide hits made eith enormous networks of song writers that make a song with over a dozen people just working on the hook so I highly doubt it's the case here, I'd have to search VERSACHOI up for that and I'm a bit too lazy for that.

7. Woojin actually ended up with credits for 6 songs which makes him one of the most credited members (after 3RACHA) during their first years so I'm kinda wondering how high he would have been on the list if he was still part of skz. But then again the past is the past and both are doing pretty well on their respective sides so there's no point in staying fixated on what could have been and refocus on what is.

8. I'm convinced that the reason as to why 3RACHA did not work on DanceRACHA's Wow is to completely disassociate themselves with that song title despite the fact their Wow is a national treasure and will forever be number one on my favourite 3RACHA songs list. Like to put it into perspective: DanceRACHA's Wow is the only song in the 103 I looked at taht had no credits attributed to 3RACHA whatsoever.

9. My Universe listed "Changbin" and then "Stray Kids" as the performers for My Universe despite the fact that in the song title it says it's by Seungmin and I.N and that there's only the three of them performing so I'm still trying to understand what went on there. My best guess is that they listed Seungmin and I.N as it's VocalRACHA's song and by that logic Changbin was the featuring artist which would make sense as he's individually listen which only really happens when someone has already done features which we know is the case with songs like Mirror Mirror.

10. Linking back to the previous point, I'm wondering what on earth their artist will be named if their solo stuff ever goes on Spotify. Like Changbin's featuring on Mirror Mirror says "Changbin of Stray Kids" although the one on My Universe just says "Changbin". On top of that during the credits it sometimes mentioned the 3RACHA in brackets behind and sometimes it would just be their names. Once it even just said "Chan". I'd understand if the 3RACHA was to identify that they're also a separate unit that make their own music but they don't have any hyperlinks nor songs on Spotify so it feels kinda weird. Furthermore, if we take into consideration the fact that they have their 3RACHA names (CB97, SpearB and J.One) which name would they take if they do post their solo stuff but associated it to 3RACHA and not skz? I'm probably looking way too into it.

Anyway, I want to quickly remind you that these are all speculations from observations I've made and that none of this is confirmed, don't take it as verbatim. Not to mention that my observations are from minor changes that are probably all coincidences with schedule and maybe they just weren't up for a certain song. Afterall we're talking about a 6 song gap out of 103, that's such a miniscule gap in the grand scheme of things.

ROUND 2: WHOLE | bcs it had both underdog and heart attack, and trigger slapped, so !

ROUND 3: WHOLE | undercover and O are my two favorite promoted tracks of theirs and they both come off this album, plus the styling and concept this era fucked massively, so. yeah <3

ROUND 1: HALL | only two tracks, but the tracks were get away and numbness, which both slapped. also the concept and mv were absolutely iconic

FACE ME + FACE YOU | lumping these together because theyre pretty even for me-- FACE ME has lay back, photo, and MOMENT, then FACE YOU has thunder.

FACE US | the bsides were great and a couple of my favorite VRVR tracks are on that album (my face and get outta my way), but GBTB being the title kinda detracted from it for me HDJFFJHF

VERI-CHILL

VERI-US + VERI-ABLE | i know there are a lot of kpop fans out there who really go for the more bright, cheery songs, but as much as i respect them they are not me-- i still like all the songs tho, not to be mistaken! Alright! and Get Ready are forever bops

skz: (im not doing literally every single era because that would be, just. SO much.)

clé: LEVANTER | levanter is one of, if not my MOST favorite skz title track of all time-- the mv, the song, just the EVERYTHING. the album also has sunshine, booster, and STOP, so yeah its my favorite <33

I AM WHO | my pace as the tt, and then question, insomnia, m.i.a., voices, WHO?, awkward silence... i have listed literally every song on the album so that probably gives you an idea of how much i value it.

Clé 1: MIROH | me: era that got me into stray kids say aye! miroh: AYE!! KSGDJDGH but yeah it. the Queen of all time <33 im pretty sure i had some of the rap sections in maze of memories, if not the entire song, memorized for like a straight year, despite not being able to nor wanting to rap myself. chronosaurus, 19, boxer, victory song my beloveds... clé 1 my beloved <3

GO LIFE/IN LIFE | pairing these two together because one is a repackage and they BOTH have some of my favorite ever skz songs on them. even though these eras saw the start of my decline from stay-dom with god's menu, im still absolutely in love with a lot of the songs that came from them, like easy, any, wow, my universe, another day, phobia, gone days, and ta!

NOEASY | once again kind of a miss on the title track with my personal tasted, but the BSIDES. god the bsides. we got silent cry, gone away, mixtape: OH (even though that was kind of its own era before with a single/ prerelease if i remember right?), cheese, domino, fucking red lights... kpop groups why must you always make my least favorite song of an album the title track.

I am NOT | not one of my favorite tts even if it was debut, but its a nostalgia era for me, and mirror, awaken, rock, grow up, and 3rd eye are ABSOLUTELY my beloveds.

Clé 2: Yellow Wood | not one of my most exciting eras, but i loved all the mixtapes and four of them were on this album, so !!

how i got into them:

verivery: i saw a gyehyeon gifset on my fyp, then went into his tag to find more gifsets to reblog (both because he pretty and i wanted to support creators), then next thing i know im binging every single one of their title tracks in order and drowning myself in their lore. it happened entirely without me expecting it

skz: saw the chronosaurus mv under a b*s mv i was watching back in 2019, liked it, then went and watched a bunch of their other stuff, liked that, and they very rapidly ascended to ult position LMAO

which member would be my best friend:

verivery: honestly theyre all very friend-shaped to me but probably dongheon, yongseung, or minchan? dongheon is a dork, minchan is precisely my kind of funny/weird, and yongseung is just chill and i think he'd be cool to hang out with!

skz: jisung <3 also felix, felix would be an absolutely rad best friend.

something i associate with them:

verivery: fuck idrk how to interpret this question. their lore? clone themes? vaguely homoerotic tension? the color silver? i could go on a whole rant on what my synesthesia associates with each of the individual members but that would be far too much to squeeze into this ask game, and also i think i may have already done that. i can say i associate minchan with coffee a little bit because that's what his voice sounds like to me?

skz: the color orange, for some reason. other than that i kinda got nothing HDJFBF

era: miroh. best era, had so much fun on here with my stay mutuals, and it was also when they got their first win!! it was really nice :) also that was when finding skz had first premiered and i really enjoyed those episodes :)))))

concept: my pace. i loved the styling and everything for this era, it was so cute!! very colourful and pretty.

album: clé 1 and in life. in life has to be their best album to date tbh.
