that's all!!! this was genuinely the Worst year of my life but there was so much music across many genres to comfort me, so i’m happy now. kpop releases always have a place in my heart and there was so much good stuff this year.

I couldn’t figure out how to crop the video easily for the life of me I did NOT mean for there to be so much white space sorry!

In the original lyrics the ‘duet’ part is a bit different as I swapped around the lyrics a little at the last second. I felt it fit the characters better, I don’t really imagine mirage would refer to herself as dead. I also thought about hell and what that line could mean in this context but decided to leave it up to you guys to interpret as you wish :)

The binary doesn’t really translate to anything but I really liked the idea of it when listening to the notes playing as the shapes show up in the original video. Made me think of the binary part in 'little austronaut’ by Aku P. Mirage starts out with a 1 as she’s more positive and settled in to her situation while V2 is fresh from hell, having no strong emotions either way at the start.

So many misunderstandings and miscommunications and they are struggling, but it all pays off in the end with a wonderful catharsis. Character-wise it feels more The Untamed-like and there's also some background SangCheng and features some stunning fanart! Excerpt: But Lan Wangji was already looking at him, eyes steady. He’d drawn his hands back to rest on his knees. “What do you need?” He could just pretend he hadn’t asked for anything. Lan Wangji would probably let it go; he wasn’t one to push if he didn’t think it was necessary. And it was a horrible feeling to ask this. just got done with the jaws concert!! they played mostly their album songs, with dive back in time and vortex being the only link click songs and vortex as the encore song. it was really small, with maybe 30 - 40 people attending the concert, so everyone was invited to get signatures + pictures with the band and talk with them for a little :-) very intimate space and night <33
