Shipping securitywaiter is like the equivalent of being a little kid who plays with dolls, making your monster high Frankie doll date your brother's John Cena action figure and I love everything about it.

Bringing back Lulla Bear, just cause I can :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Human Lulla :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lulla's lore-dump (in case you're interested):
Lulla used to be a Daycare Attendant at the Pizzaplex before Sun/Moon's assembling. They were programmed to be a sleepyhead who took care of children during nap time. They never were meant to be the permanent DA, for the engineers only needed a substitue until they had finished with Sun/Moon: so, althought Lulla was given an AI as complex as the Glamrocks', they were pretty much just a regular robot stuffed inside a plush.
So when the final DA was finished, employees just kinda shut them down, threw them in a disused area and told the kids Lulla would have been "hibernating" for a long time.
Years later, an employee finds himself exploring these old areas, after many complaints about "loud metallic noises" coming from down there.
This is where he finds Lulla!
They are reactivated and thinks that they've been asleep just for a couple of minutes; Lulla doesn't know they've been replaced. But it doesn't matter, cause they have to go back to the daycare, it's their protocol after all!
And something menacing is creeping in those old halls...
So better hurry back upstairs!

FNAF Movie / / Vanessa x F!Reader [Jealousy Hurts]
Tumblr media
(gif by me)
Mike starts to flirt with you. Vanessa definitely isn't jealous. Contents: Fluff, Angst(ish), Established Relationship Warnings: N/A WC: 2,220
Tumblr media
"No no, like this," Mike laughed as he rolled the ball masterfully, he had been bragging about how good at skee-ball he was so you had asked him to teach you. After all, there wasn't a lot to do on the night shift so you might as well waste some time. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy had been standing a few feet away watching the two of you play, each of them seeming curious.
You rolled another ball but it fell short again.
"Ah, I'll never get it," you groaned, already wanting to give up after failing to get a decent score for the past hour.
Mike smiled at you, stepping closer, "No. Come on. Let me show you." He grabbed another ball and showed you the angle of his arm, "It's simple. Just enough strength in the throw, not too much. And..." he released the ball and it swiftly made its way down the lane and up into one of the high score pockets, "Easy."
"You mean you make it look easy," you rolled your eyes at him and folded your arms in frustration.
He chuckled to himself before holding a ball towards you, "Come on. Let me help."
Vanessa sat in her patrol car outside the pizzeria, her fingers tapping on the wheel. She had been sitting here for almost an hour now, deciding on whether or not to go inside. Her eyes drifted to the clock on the dashboard - 02:40am. She'd usually check in on you every other night to make sure you were okay, but tonight she knew you were on shift with Mike... And yet here she was, pondering on whether or not to go in and see how you were doing. She definitely wasn't here to make sure Mike wasn't going to try anything on you... Definitely not.
Finally, she stepped out of her vehicle and slammed the door shut. She went towards the front doors and peered through the glass, she could see that the lights were on and she could hear faint music. She was about to knock but decided to try the door instead... And of course it was unlocked. Vanessa rolled her eyes in frustration, she couldn't count the amount of times she'd told you to make sure the doors were locked every night.
Upon stepping inside, she could hear muffled voices and laughter - she presumed it was from you and Mike. The stage was empty as she walked past it towards the arcade games, she could clearly see the tall animatronics at the back of the room by the skee-ball machines.
She manoeuvred her way past different games and machines, stepping over loose wires here and there making sure not to trip. She finally made it to the skee-ball machines, she patted Freddy on the arm to let him know that she was there. He stepped out of the way to let her through, however she stopped in her tracks at what she saw.
Mike was standing behind you, one of his hands slowly moving up your arm towards your wrist. Your hand soon lay in his palm, a ball was secure in your hand.
"And you just gotta..." Mike's voice was quiet as Vanessa watched him move your hand with his.
Vanessa decided to clear her voice, making herself known. Both you and Mike turned to look at her.
You dropped the ball and retracted away from Mike with a smile, "Vanessa!" you exclaimed with a smile, walking over to her, "I didn't think you were coming tonight."
Vanessa couldn't help but glare at Mike as you approached her and wrapped her up in your arms, she more than willingly returned the hug as you pressed your lips to her cheek.
"I er... I wasn't aware you two knew each other," Mike coughed awkwardly.
You had been working as an overnight security guard longer than Mike had, you met Vanessa in the first week and you two had hit it off pretty quickly - entering into a relationship only a few months after meeting. A couple of months later, another security guard was hired: Mike. You had only worked duo shifts with him a few times now but you already saw him as a close friend, it was nice to have someone to talk to on long night shifts.
"Oh! Yes. I met Vanessa a few days after I started working here," you said as you pulled away from the hug, Vanessa made sure to grab your hand with hers - she tried her hardest to not keep glaring at Mike. You squeezed her hand in response, "She's my girlfriend. Has been for a couple months now." Vanessa couldn't stop the small smile from appearing on her face.
Mike raised an eyebrow, "Ah... I'm just... surprised it never came up," he shifted on the balls of his feet awkwardly.
"To be honest I didn't even know you two met," you replied.
Vanessa nodded, "I helped him out for the first couple of days," she stepped ever so slightly closer to your side, her hand still firm in yours, "I wasn't going to come over tonight but I was... passing by so I decided to anyways." She definitely wasn't passing by, her last area of patrol was on the other side of town.
"Well, I'm glad you came," you smiled.
Vanessa smirked at you, "Oh really? You usually complain, saying something along the lines of 'I don't need you to keep me company every night, I'm a big girl'."
You rolled your eyes, "Just because I don't need you here, doesn't mean I don't want you here," you then turned your attention back towards Mike, who seemed to be uncomfortable, "I'm sure time will absolutely fly by now that there's more of us."
"What were you two up to?" Vanessa said, her mind going back to when Mike was practically wrapped around you.
"Mike over here is apparently the best skee-ball player that anyone has ever seen. So he was teaching me how to play. I'm sure I could challenge him any day now."
Mike laughed, "I'm sure you could, Y/N."
The three of you made your way towards the main stage, the animatronics walked behind you.
"What should we do to get through these last three hours, hm?" you wondered, looking around the room.
"I mean... We are at Freddy Fazbear's after all. Couldn't hurt to watch them perform a little," Vanessa suggested, nodding towards the showtime button on the wall. You looked towards the animatronics, they almost seemed excited to get up there and put on a show.
Tumblr media
You and Vanessa were sitting at one of the party tables, listening to the music coming from the stage. Freddy, Bonnie and Chica were currently performing whilst Foxy stood by your table, he seemed to be enjoying the show.
Vanessa reached across the table to hold your hand, "Sorry for coming here unannounced, Y/N. Just wanted to see how things were going with... Mike."
You nodded, "Him and I became friends quite quickly. It is nice to have someone here when you aren't able to stop by. The animatronics are good company, but it can't hurt to have someone I can actually have a conversation with." You noticed the way Vanessa squeezed your hand ever so slightly as you spoke. You cocked your head at her before teasing, "You're still my favourite, don't worry. I'd rather have you here."
She grit her teeth, "You know, I'm happy you do have someone to keep you company when I'm not here."
A smirk appeared on your face, "Is that so?"
Before Vanessa could answer, Mike walked into the room with a couple of cans in his hands, "I managed to find a vending machine that still worked," he said, handing you a drink. Vanessa gulped hard as she saw him purposefully drag his fingers across yours as you took the drink. He simply placed the other drink on the table in front of Vanessa.
"They aren't out of date are they?" you said, trying to read the scuffed label.
With a shrug, he walked towards the front of the room to take a seat closer to the stage. Foxy followed close behind him before sprinting past him at full speed, jumpscaring him in the process. You couldn't help but laugh at Mike's reaction as he almost threw the can at Foxy.
You released Vanessa's hand in order to open the can, "I mean I am thirsty..." you hummed, a smile on your face.
Vanessa glared at Mike from across the room, "It's Fizzy Faz. It's disgusting."
You noticed that Vanessa was currently glaring at Mike as the man took his seat, "You sure? Is it disgusting or... Do you not want to drink it because of Mike?"
Her eyes snapped onto you, "Because of Mike? Wh-"
"Come on, Nessy," you grabbed her hand across the table once more, placing the can down onto the table, "I've noticed the glaring. What's going on?"
"Nothing is going on, Y/N," she didn't intend for her voice to sound so cold or snappy, but she couldn't help it.
A frown appeared on your face, "V..."
She sighed heavily, "Sorry. Sorry, Y/N. It's nothing, okay? Mike just..."
You had a slight suspicion of what was going on, but you really wanted her to tell you, "You can talk to me, Nessy. You know I won't judge you, right?"
"It's so stupid, Y/N," she laughed, shaking her head.
There was a moment of silence between the two of you, Vanessa's hand rubbed your knuckles as she tried to think about how to word what she was thinking.
You bit your lip before breaking the silence, "Can you play skee-ball?"
Vanessa was confused by the question, "Skee-ball?"
"Yeah. Are you any good at it?"
"I... I haven't played in a while. But I'd say I've still got it."
"Would you like to teach me instead?" you smirked.
Vanessa rolled her eyes, knowing what you were getting at, "Y/N..."
"Come on, Vanessa. Just admit you didn't like seeing Mike teach me like that."
She scoffed, "Can you blame me? Wouldn't you be pissed if you saw someone all up on your girlfriend like that?"
"To be honest I didn't think anything of it in the moment. I'm sorry, I should've been more aware. I wouldn't give you up for anything. You believe me, right?" you said, hoping for her to understand.
With a sigh, Vanessa nodded, "It's okay, Y/N. I didn't think you were in the wrong," her eyes drifted over to Mike who was currently downing his can of Fizzy Faz, a grimace appeared on his face as he slammed the can down onto the table, "You know he likes you, right?" she looked back at you.
You briefly glanced towards him, "I don't think so..."
She laughed slightly, "Of course he does. Those longing looks, the lingering touches. Him holding your hand teaching you how to play skee-ball. It's every cliché in the book."
"Okay, so maybe he does. But I promise to turn him down if anything happens, okay?"
With a nod, she replied, "Okay. Sorry for acting this way."
"I think it's cute. Shows that you care about me."
She almost looked offended, "Cute is not the word I would use to describe me."
You let go of her hand, she was surprised by the sudden lack of touch. You made your way round to sit in the seat next to her, "You are cute, whether you like it or not," you leaned your head on her shoulder.
Vanessa couldn't stop herself from resting her cheek against your head. The two of you looked over at the animatronics who were still performing, Foxy now having his own little performance on his own stage.
You stretched your arm across the table to grab your can of Fizzy Faz, you removed your head from Vanessa's shoulder to take a sip...
"It's disgusting."
"Told you," Vanessa smirked in victory, "It's probably years out of date too, I can't imagine what it tastes like."
You put the can back down before turning towards Vanessa, "You should taste it."
"I think I will pass on that, thanks."
"You sure?" you leaned closer.
Vanessa turned her head towards yours. She wasted no time in pressing her lips to yours, a soft smile creeping up onto her face. You smiled into the kiss as you felt Vanessa's hand creep up your neck to hold the back of your head. Sadly, you both needed to breath so she pulled away.
She licked her lips causing your breath to hitch... A grimace soon appeared on her face, "God, it tastes disgusting."
You couldn't help but laugh, "I know."
That didn't stop Vanessa from going in for seconds, though.

Job Interview
Mike Schmidt x gn!Reader
Warnings: FNAF MOVIE SPOILERS ( not too much)
tags: established relationship, fluffity fluff fluff
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Right now, you were helping Mike get ready for his job interview. It was bright and early in the morning, Abby was still sleeping while you two were standing in the middle of the corridor. "You thinking of being a security guard again?" I asked, focused on fixing his tie so that it was fitting and not too tight around his neck.
"Yeah. But I'll take any job at this point." He sighs before he continues, "So.. What do you think?" He opens his arms to show you his full look.
"I think you're absolutely handsome and I'd give you the job on the spot— whatever it is." I laugh, fixing his hair so it was more presentable. "Be serious." He chuckles, now he was pushing your messy bed hair away from your cheeks to behind your ear. It was early in the morning, after all.
"You're perfect, Mike. I think they'd love you. Just don't be too nervous." I encourage him, wrapping my arms around his neck to place a chaste kiss on his lips. He holds onto your waist, pecking you on the lips after as response.
"Alright, alright. Oh. My interview starts in half an hour. You think you can watch over Abby while I'm gone? I won't be long." He says after he checks his watch, picking up his papers of resumes that were so neatly organised and arranged by you. "I hope you won't. It would be farrrr too lonely without you." I fake whined, giggling as he pinches my cheek.
"I'll pick you and Abby up for breakfast, okay?" He promises, taking a quick look at himself in the mirror before heading out the door.
The whole time in the waiting room he was spacing out and couldn't even realise it was his turn for his interview. He just kept thinking about having to take care of Abby. And you.
You have your own job and home too, but he still feels like he should owe you something for being there for him and his little sister. The feeling of your lips still linger on his, and he's already feeling needy for more despite it being only a while since you've seen each other.
See? Despite that, he's only thinking about taking kisses from you than giving back. God, he's so selfish for you.

promise me? - mike schmidt
Tumblr media
mike schmidt x gn!reader
warnings: a bit of angst but i think that’s it. i don’t know fnaf lore super well so if anything is inaccurate i apologize!! i’m trying my best
word count: 750
you arrived home from work around 8pm, a little later than usual due to heavy traffic on one of the main roads. quietly dropping your keys on the table just inside the door, you turned the lock to your small apartment. it wasn’t the greatest neighborhood, but it was all you could afford, and it had everything you needed. lately, your boyfriend mike had been staying with you, and he had gotten a night job as a security guard at a kids pizza place, which meant he was asleep right now as you crept through the apartment, the cold floorboards creaking under your weight as you walked down the hallway towards the bedroom.
mikes new job had him working 12-6am, less than ideal hours to say the least, but a job was a job, and it seemed pretty easy from what he had told you; all he had to do was watch the security cameras. it would only be his third night on the job today, but you could tell the change in sleep schedule was hard on mike. placing your bag on the floor softly, and your eyes landed on mikes sleeping form, the blankets tangled around his legs as he snored softly. you smiled, and lifted his arm carefully to crawl into bed next to him. his arms encircled you automatically, and he sighed contently as you snuggled into his chest, feeling the warmth radiating off of his body.
“hey,” he grumbled softly, his voice deep with sleep. “what time is it?”
“hey,” you smiled, even though his eyes remained closed. “it’s just after eight, you still have time to sleep.” he hummed happily in response, pulling you closer to him and kissing the top of your head as he drifted off to sleep again, and you quickly followed.
the sound of mikes alarm woke you up, and you tried to hide your head under the covers to block out the sound, as mike reached for his phone to turn it off.
“don’t go,” you mumbled, reaching for him to attempt to pull him back into your arms. he laughed at you and sighed, rubbing his hands over his face.
“i would rather stay here, trust me.”
“is it really that bad?” you asked, sitting up as he got out of bed and began to get dressed, sliding on a pair of dark jeans and a grey hoodie. he did up the buckle of his belt as he stepped into his work boots, and he looked up at you, his tired eyes meeting yours.
“no, it’s…. it’s just - we’ll you know how they have those animatronic characters?”
“yeah,” you nodded, remembering them from when you were younger.
“they get left in this… free roaming mode at night. i don’t know it’s really weird.”
“isn’t that a little dangerous?” you asked, a worried look spreading across your face. mike seemed to think for a moment, and then sort of shook his head.
“no, i mean- they’re just robots for kids. it’s just a little creepy,” he replied, and you weren’t sure he was being 100% truthful.
“mike, if you were in danger you would tell me right?”
“of course. i didn’t mean to scare you. i think my imagination gets the better of me sometimes,” he walked over to give you a soft kiss on the lips.
“promise me if anything else weird happens you’ll quit, okay?” you pleaded. as much as you both needed the money, that wouldn’t matter if something bad happened to mike.
“i promise,” he agreed. “i gotta go. i love you.”
“i love you too.”
mike grabbed his wallet off the dresser and opened the bedroom door before turning back towards you.
“i’ll see you in a few hours. get some sleep okay?”
you nodded as you laid back down and pulled the blankets over yourself, trying to mimic the feeling of his body heat next to you. you listened to his footsteps as he walked down the hall and out the door, followed by the familiar click of it locking behind him. you sighed, closing your eyes as you tried not to worry about what he had said. you trusted him; if there was really something wrong, he would tell you.
besides, how dangerous could a children’s restaurant be, right?

The Night Shift -Mike Schmidt x Reader (FNAF live action)
Summary: You and Mike have never gotten on the right foot, always bickering and never standing each other's presence. The day comes when both of you are interviewed for the same job and are forced to work together to see who will win the job as a security guard at a deadly pizzeria.
Tumblr media
(A/N: The Fnaf movie is almost here! Anyone else ready to watch it this weekend?! Here's the Mike Schmidt x Reader I promised a while back. Hope it's okay but female reader is mentioned to be a bit of a goth/alternative type of girl. Also, things may change in the next part since I am writing this a few days before the movies release date. Let me know how I did and if you want part 2 once we've seen the movie)
I'd also like to tag these kind people who asked me to tag them once this was up, @riaqiax @ahsfan23 @lufvg
"Please come again and have a fantastic day!" I beam and smile as I watch the client I had attended begin to leave the store I was working at.
As soon as they are out of my sight I sigh deeply and frown looking at the direction they left. "I don't get paid enough for this crap." I tell no one.
The client has begun to ask many questions, wether the store finally had the item they had been asking for, or if the movies on the dvd sections were any good, if I had any recommendations for any.
After about half an hour of trying to convince the person to take something from the store, they had decided to leave with a few snacks and movies.
The store I have been working at happens to be a combination of many things, dvd rentals, clothes, snacks and a few figures for sale. At least it paid a bit better than the last job I had, it was a nice job with nice alternative music but the pay wasn't that good.
"(Y/N), you're on your break. Make sure to come back in 15." My coworker passed me when they returned from the restroom.
I nodded my head and left the store beginning to walk further into the mall where I have been working for a few months and began walking to the food area hoping to fill my stomach with some cheap food.
It was a calm Friday with only a few people or families circling around the building. Many kids running over to small area, an ice cream shop called 'Ice Cream Parties'.
I ordered my usual choice of food. Three sandwiches, fries and a taco. I reached my hand into the bag and began to eat minding my own business when I sat down by an empty area and I stopped chewing when I saw two men running past me.
Two security guards running fast and avoiding running into people. Immediately this caught my attention, so I began to follow the guards and quickened my pace when I heard a girl yelling for her dad.
I stayed behind from a crowd that formed near the mall's water fountain and I saw a figure, no, two in fact inside the water fountain, but one was beating the other and the worst thing was that it was one of the security guards.
"Daddy!"
People took out their flip phones and began to take a few pictures of what was happening, it quickly ended when the two men who had run past me earlier stepped into the water and pulled the poor man beneath the security guard away.
One of them began to deal with the man with a small girl running over to her beaten dad, and the other one roughly began to question the young man's actions and took him away inside an office room.
"Fuck." I muttered when I saw the man was dragged away.
I rolled my eyes and went back to my working place and spotted my coworker, "Hey, you think you can cover for me this time? Something very important and tragic happened."
My coworker nodded his head and as soon as he agreed I started running back outside the store and into the security room.
"Do you know how many paperworks we gotta do and how our establishments reputation will only decrease any more because of what you did?!" I heard the deep voice of a man question the young security guard.
"How many times are you going to give me a hard time, Mr Schmidt?"
"The man deserved it." He answered his boss.
His boss remained quiet probably just staring and him and not knowing exactly what to do. "So that's what you think? You're fired."
The man sighed but said nothing. "I'll have you sign a few paperwork before you leave and an investigation will be taken place right now. So this'll take some time to be resolved."
His boss has walked past me but said nothing assuming I was the guards family. I rolled to eyed and leaned my head forward and tilted it when I saw Mike crossing his arms.
"You're anger issues has only gotten worse." I say uninterested and notice Mike roll his eyes when he saw me.
"The fuck is you're problem?" He looked at me again and scoffed when he noticed my appearance.
Freshly dyed black hair and now with a single piercing over my eyebrow.
"You look like shit."
"I was about to say the same thing." I tell him not bothered by his words.
"Why are you so weird?" He scoffed again and looked away from me.
I poured pretending I was hurt. "Daddy issues. What can I say?" I chuckled darkly "You have anger issues, my guy. I have daddy issues. Tell me what's worse."
Mike remained silent when I mentioned him that. I looked around the onto sound coming from the clock on the wall.
"Why did you do it?" I ask him wanting to know his reason on attacking a man in front of his young daughter.
"And why should I tell you?" He remarked. "I don't owe you any favors because you got me this job weeks ago."
"I only did it for her and you know it." I defended myself and crossed my arms over my chest as well.
"Well I don't need anyone's help and that being less from you. I can take care of my own problem."
Mine has been struggling for a while now. Barely having enough money for himself, rent or raising his sister since she had no one left to look after her. The guy has his issues but it doesn't mean he had to be like this, he doesn't have a lot of money and the first thing he does is try to get himself fired… well he is definitely fired now.
Another thing I'd like to mention. Is that Mike and I have never gotten along, we've known each other for almost our entire lives and know what has happened to each other, but we've refused to get along. Not once had he been nice to me and never have I been nice to him.
We've both been through a lot of mess, similar to one another's, and instead of making us grow closer we simply grew further apart.
"Michael." I warn.
"(Y/N)." Michael says back now each of us looking at one another.
I try to remain calm and not start up another argument which always happens when we're together in a room.
Mike is the first to break eye contact and he sighs when he checks the clock again. It's nearly 2pm.
He mutters a few cursed words and looks down at lap. "Can you do me a favor and pick up Abbey from school?"
I lift an eyebrow looking at him. "Please? I know you don't own a car, so you can take mine."
Mike digs for his car keys inside from his pocket and holds them up for me. I smirk as I take them from him.
"Why trust me with your car? I can easily steal it from you and escape town."
"Because deep beneath all the bitchiness, black clothes and awful piercing. I know your a bit less tolerable when it comes to kids." Mike said glancing back at me and looking a bit too relaxed in this situation
I stared at the worn out paper sign in my hands. A second job wouldn't hurt…"Wanted security guard for night shift. Quickly I scribbled the number on my palm and crumbled the paper over and left it on the backseat.
I stepped out of car when I had parked it and recognized Mike's little sister. "(Y/N)?" She asked not expecting me at all.
Many months ago I had looked after her, now I only see her every once in a while, whenever she'd leave school early, Mike would have her stay at the mall until his shift would be over.
I came to see Abbey as a little sister as well especially since we saw each other growing up and Mike would take odd jobs at night leaving me to look after Abbey while she was still rather young.
"I'll be your escort for this ride. Hope that's fine with you, and hopefully you're teacher doesn't think I'm here to kidnap you." I tell her when I see her teacher looking at me weird.
Abbey waved her hand at the teacher making then sure she knew me.
"I'm late to my shift, so, let's hurry up shall we?" Abbey nods her head and got into the backseat when I got into the car again and turned it back on and starting driving back to the mall.
"It's been a while since we last saw each other. Thought you wouldn't remember me." I joked at the young girl while I glanced back and saw her looking outside the scenery as I drove by the familiar streets
"Of course I still remember you. My brother mentions you often." Abbey said getting my attention from her.
Didn't expect Mike to talk about me to his younger sister, Abbey.
"Oh? What does he say about me?"
"Says you're a bitch, weird and complains about his job or yours." I frowned and remained quiet. Of course why was I expecting nice from him.
"Those are his words, not mine. I actually enjoy spending time with you." Abbey said.
My expression softened when I heard Abbey says she enjoys my company. I smiled to myself and agreed with her, "I also enjoy spending time with you, Abbey."
Abbey hummed still looking outside the windows. "My brother got fired, didn't he?"
"…Yes, he did…"
Mike and I only exchanged a few words when I arrived back. He was fired, of course he was or he'd be in prison for what he did. He was probably going to celebrate later that he would no longer have to see my face at work. The guy has his problems but always finds time to argue of talk about me.
I feel for Abbey especially since she has no other female figure to talk about and have to stand and listen to her brother being annoying most of the time.
"Hey! You lose your brain there for a second?" Mike questioned which earned him a shove from his sister.
"(Y/N) thank you for picking me up from school and taking care of my dumb brother." Abbey said being the only polite and rational one out of the pair.
I smiled and patted her short hair. "Anytime Abbey. Maybe we can have a small girls night sometime." I suggest which made her smile a bit.
"You'll only end up corrupting her." Mike said playing with the car keys in his hands.
"Mike." Abbey said making him look down at her with his brown eyes.
He rolled his eyes and shrugged a bit. "Thanks for looking after my sister…well see you never." He said taking his sister's hand and beginning to leave.
How rude. If he weren't cute I definitely would've thrown him again into the water fountain..wait..what am I even saying?! Forget this, I've lost about half an hour of work time because of doing the guy a favor.
I huff to myself watching Mike and Abbey leave the mall for good. I turn around and headed to my work but the moment I arrived, I spotted Tom coworker and my boss looking at me with a face that said it all.
"You're fired."
"Let's hear a round of applause for the birthday girl!"
The lights changed and was now shining across the stage with cheery music playing as background while kids cheered when the pizzerias mascots made an appearance.
The pizzerias staff began to clap along when they began to sing 'happy birthday ' to me. My entire class was invited to my party.
My uncle was the one who invited them over since he knew I didn't have that too many friends, and he wanted me to get in with the right crowd. He knew that I was in a group of kids who would often bully others, I did it so I wouldn't be alone or be the one getting bullied.
I definitely chose the wrong crowd back then, all because I didn't want to be lonely…
My aunt and uncle raised me as their own since I could remember. They treated me like their own kid since they could never have any. They liked to throw these types of parties and invite everyone they knew.
Both of them were always fond and always liked to help financially to one of my classmates, that one being Mike Schmidt. He was kinda of a shy kid, and wasn't that fond at making an appearance at a birthday party without a present to give.
My uncle and aunt didn't mind that he didn't have the money, they still convinced the small kid to come and have a good time. Mike didn't want to leave his very little sister behind so my aunt would be carrying her everywhere.
I watched with glee as my favorite animatronic made his way towards me. I got up on my seat and smiled wide as I watched Bonnie come in with a colorful and big cake in his hands. One of the staff from the place approached and grabbed the cake placing in front of me, the cake seemed delicious with it's different colored candles.
I hugged onto my stuffed Bonnie plush as I wrapped one arm around the animatronic and felt one of its large paws patting my head.
I stared at the worn down building ahead of me as my hands were kept on my bike. 'Freddy's Pizzeria' read a sign just outside. The guy in charge must be inside or late to our meeting, as soon as they fired me from my job at the mall was when I decided to call this place up.
I'm a night owl after all so this'll be a piece of cake. All I gotta see is how much is the paycheck and I'll make sure to be the best security guard.
Maybe I'll be the only one around and have a nice time inside, remember those fond memories of the times I would come to this place and love following around the animatronics.
I knocked on the door a couple of more times waiting until someone would show up. The door slowly opened and I came face to face with an older looking man with large glasses.
"You're (Y/N) (L/N), correct?"
"Yes, sir. It's nice to finally meet you in person." I smiled trying to be as nice as I can.
"Pleasure is all mine…Please come inside." He said when he spotted the weather was beginning to change.
It was getting a bit chilly and the clouds were turning grey, about to rain a bit probably later. "You got here rather early."
"Yeah. The most important thing about a job is getting early." I chuckle beginning to follow the man not that far behind, but still remaining close to the entrance. "I do live a bit far from here but it's no trouble."
The man stopped and turned to face me. "You own a car?" He questioned and I knew I would be screwed if I said No.
"W-Well I don't..but I'm willing to come out here at any hour."
As soon as he was about to say something else, another knock was heard from the other side of the door. The man gave me a quick look and walked past me to open the door once again, I was surprised when I saw I wasn't the only one here.
Mike Schmidt had also applied for the job…
"No fucking way." Both Mike and I said looking at each other and wanting to strangle each other.

I came back from the movie theaters (Fnaf Movie) My lord I FREAKING LOVED IT THE WHOLE THING IDC AHHH Ahem-
I saw that requests are open, SO a Platonic Headcanon Request if you don't mind, Fnaf (Movie) Animatronics with Gender-Neutral (17-soon to be 18) Reader as the new security guard? or maybe tags with Mike and possibly Abby? (Reader ain't tall just-idk 5'2 maybe I am projecting-)
(I know this request doesn't make sense because of the tiredness due to staying up late because of excitement. Feel free to delete this ask if its too complicated)
bonus: If you want to, You can also Include Chica's Cupcake
Have a nice day/night, From 📞 ☕ (PhoneCoffee) Anon
Oh I can definitely work with this ^^
......
When you started working at Freddy's overnight, you hoped this would be your last summer job ever before you turned 18.
"Steve" said it was all pretty straightforward: watch the cameras and make sure nobody broke in.
Easy as pizza pie, right?
Well, when you realized one of the animatronics very subtly moved from their usual spot, you wanted to check them out for yourself.
Plus, sitting in the office for six hours every night would def get boring as hell.
So you head to the main stage area, finding the whole gang mysteriously gone--Foxy included.
Then you get surprised by them emerging from different places in the pizzeria, eyes glowing a sinister yellow as they surround you, wary of your intentions.
"O-Oh hey..um..Fazgang?" You try your best not to look so terrified.
Surely someone was controlling them, right? They couldn't possibly hurt you.
Yet they stop and collectively realize "wait, isn't this a teenager? And why are they working this job??"
But since you're not wrecking anything in the pizzeria (or screaming bloody murder unlike the last guard), they spare you and are just very chill overall.
You now start to believe all the rumors of them being haunted by little children.....although not even that scares you.
On the second night, you learn that they can understand simple drawings--and that's how you pretty much communicate with them and build up trust.
While Bonnie is regarded as the "most aggressive", he was a real sweetheart who let you shine his guitar and hugged you tightly to express his thanks.
Alas you haven't found a way to stop it from constantly short-circuiting when he strums it...but you vow to figure something out.
Chica was equally as sweet, although for some reason Carl the Cupcake made you feel nervous.
The way he can be on the plate one moment and then disappear the next makes you worried that he'll sneak up on you and bite your ankles off.
But as long as Chica's around, that won't ever happen.
Although Foxy looks quite dangerous, you try your best to patch up the hole in his chest using some spare parts from backstage while being oblivious to the deadly Freddy mask saw trap in the corner, something he's grateful for.
He even sang you a little sea shanty as thanks!
Freddy was the first to be suspicious of you, but after seeing a drawing you made of him, he grows to like your presence, too. Especially after how nice you've been to his bandmates.
So you definitely survived more than five nights at this place--longer than anyone so far.
When Mike gets hired and comes in for his first shift with you, he's surprised that a teen is training him.
He suspects this was some lousy summer job you were forced to get and thinks you're gonna act miserable the entire time you work together and not actually teach him shit.
But as it turns out, you love your job!
You show him the Fazgang during their "showtime" performance and assure him that while they may look creepy, they're not bad at all.
And while you're not getting paid extra to do simple maintenance on them, you still enjoy trying to keep them in tip-top shape (especially Foxy, who needs repairs the most).
Mike seriously thinks you shouldn't be doing that as it's not in the job description AND it could be dangerous.
Even if you have expertise in robotics, he still thinks it's not worth losing a limb or finger to those complex contraptions.
Like he almost did after getting near a springlock suit.
But you just teasingly remind him who the trainer is..and he goes quiet.
Foxy overhears this, and you see him snickering from behind the Pirate's Cove curtain, amused by you basically schooling this 25-27 year old man.
Unfortunately he startled poor Mike, who looks over quickly.....only to find the fox standing in his usual position, acting completely normal.
"Was he just laughing at us...?"
"Nope." You play dumb, shrugging. "Must be his voice box malfunctioning....c'mon. Let's see if we can fix that."
Least to say, you're not gonna let him sleep on the job anytime soon.

hi!!! i love how you write so much and i,,,
so... since vanessa mentions being a trained EMT in the movie, what if reader ends up getting hurt by one of the animatronics (be it accidental or not) and vannessa takes the time to patch them up! maybe after, she ends up teasing the reader about their racing pulse, considering they are flustered with the personal attention from nessa.
just a silly little gay thought 🤭

"So, how long have you been working here for?" You asked, hands delicately twisting the rusted gears within the metallic mascot's darkened skeletal figure. You were struggling to get inside this trap, even why animatronics this ancient, their parts wouldn't be hard to twist. Nor smell as bad.
"Years after it closed," Vanessa answered. She had been feeling antsy staying put and watching you work, so tidying had been her priority for the last couple hours of the night. "believe it or not, it's only been recently that this place has required night guards. As soon as I became an officer, applications started opening for more security."
"Really?" You hummed, face fixed on Bonnie's complex systems. You scratched the side of your head, sweat oozing from your face. You had been told the machine had been acting unorthodox as soon as the power went on, as well as that error in his guitar. "Must have been some wild kids then if it needed more than some iron fence." Curiously, you began walking towards the still animatronics instrument. Fingers treading lightly before tinkering with it. Vanessa's eyes flickered wildly, and she screamed, "Wait, no! His guitar-"
It was too late. Soon, your vision was engulfed in white stems of electricity and wild baby blues. You yelped before falling off the stage, falling unconscious almost immediately as dark seeped into your gaze.
Your mind was plagued with a yellow haze, as well as your sight. You blinked rapidly, head twisting with pain. When your eyes began to clear, you could see a tall figure looming over your body. As the seconds drifted by, your senses began to grow back to normal. You could feel your wrists stinging as she wrapped a thick bandage around your cindered skin.
You winced, "Shit."
"Oh, thank God." Vanessa breathed, "You're awake."
You heaved, cringing coldly as pain skyrocketed through your veins. "What happened?" Your lip quivered, jaw twitching as you tried to read your current situation. You could feel blood oozing through your arms and legs which were hugged by white layers. "Oh, fuck." You coughed. Agony gripped your body, making you shutter.
"Take it easy," Vanessa grabbed your shoulder tenderly. Your eyes turned to Vanessa nervously. Maybe it was the shock, or it was something else you couldn't put your finger on. Vanessa frowned, rubbing her thumb to ease your anxiety. "Bonnie's guitar was unstable, and even at the simplest of touches, it can explode. It's not too severe most of the time, but still, it can hurt like hell."
You blinked, "When Steve said it was broken, he never said anything about it exploding." You tried to catch your breath. Vanessa hushed, "Calm down, alright? You're fine." She assured you, voice low as a whisper. "Just take a breath."
You inhaled sharply before releasing. After you did, Vanessa wrapped another section of your arms, which made your stomach twist. You never realized until now how much detail her face held so close, it was memorizing. And nerve-wracking for some odd reason. You were growing more flustered by the second, and she began to notice. Vanessa rested her hand near your chest, and you swore you could see stars.
"Your pulse is crazy fast," she said with a chuckle. You blushed, chuckling weakly. Vanessa pulled her hand away, "You look dazed. What are you so nervous about?"
"Nothing." You answered softly. Vanessa tilted her head, obviously intrigued. "Really?"
She rested her touch against your pulse again, making you shutter. Vanessa giggled, "Are you flustered? Because of me?" She gasped, "You are." Vanessa sounded almost giddy at that, childishly so. You defended yourself, "No, no. I'm just, trying to get my head together. I'm just out of it."
She teased, "Are you sure? I don't care if you get a little red around me. We all get crushes." Vanessa read your starstruck face and smiled once more before applying a light bandage to your cheek. "You feeling better?"
"Just a bit." You laid down, catching your breath. "I'm sorry I put you through this." Your eyes awkwardly shifted to your wrapped hands.
"It's alright, it was a mistake. As long as you're fine, I'm fine." Vanessa began packing away the bright red kit, eyelashes batting as she spoke. Internally, she was furious. Her father lied to you, probably to get you weak. He probably wanted her to leave you burned on the ground and leave the children to clean up everything. That's how it always had been. She was always cleaning up his messes, even as a little girl. It was horrible. Her nails dug against the table with a strangled huff, "You are okay, right?"
"Thanks to you." You told her. You sat up again and nudged your gaze ahead. "A little help?"
"Shit, right." Vanessa walked toward and you felt her warm hands around your sides. She could tell you were screaming inside, and that stole a smirk from her almost immediately. "Hey, if you fall, I'll catch you. My arms are always open,"
"Thanks for the offer." You played along.
You struggled to get on your feet for a couple short seconds, with Vanessa holding you delicately. You were able to walk again, just before the crack of dull dawn. You started gathering your tools with Vanessa next to you. She was toying with her hair when you met her gaze. You shyly extended your hand, "Thank you for helping me . . . You really didn't have to."
"I wanted to." She grabbed your hand and shook it, "I'd love to help you. Well, whenever you need it."
You both remained silent for a minute. And her eyes wandered down to your lips before you cleared your throat, "I hope we can keep in touch?"
"Yes, of course. But, not here, y'know?" She says seriously. "It was a pleasure being with you."
Your heart grew heavy and you couldn't squeeze out anything. You simply waved with a warm expression and walked out into the parking lot. For the first time in your life, you had truly felt something electric. Not just the shock from Bonnie, but from Vanessa.

FNAF Security Breach - Catching Their Eye
Freddy
He spotted you within the first few minutes of your working there
He keeps close tabs on the staff, so naturally he noticed a new face in the employee uniform
He introduced himself right away, but that wasn’t anything special; he does that for every new employee
What really makes him notice you is your brightness
Whether you’re interacting with guests or mopping the floor with your earbuds in, he’ll find the tiniest traces of happiness in you, and that’s what makes him interested
Even if you're not a typically "happy" person, he'll still find it
He’s so used to tired workers just trying to make it to the next paycheck, so seeing you with that light inside (even if it’s buried deep) enchants him
He finds himself staring, completely captivated
Your smile is the most precious thing in the world to him
He sees tens—even hundreds—of smiles every day, but yours is special somehow
He admires from afar, usually too busy to talk to you
But whenever he gets a free moment, you best believe he’s going to talk to you
Unfortunately he doesn’t know what to say though
So he just goes with the only thing that’s been on his mind:
“Hello, Y/n! Has anyone ever told you that you have the loveliest smile?”
“O-oh..! Uh… no?”
He scrambles to apologize for making you uncomfortable, but your laughter cuts him off
Your laugh. Mercy—if he wasn’t hooked before, he certainly was now
It’s then that he makes a personal goal to make you laugh every day
Gives him an excuse to be around you, at least
Roxanne
She did not know who you were
Like, at all
To her, everyone in the employee garb looks the same
It doesn't matter how long you've been working there; you could've been working for months, and your face would still be completely unfamiliar to her
So, when she sees you after hours in Roxy Raceway, she doesn't take much note of your presence
But you certainly take notice of hers
She catches you stealing glances, which makes her nervous
Naturally she jumps into defensive mode
"You got a staring problem?"
"No! I'm sorry. It's just... well, you're so much cooler up close."
That catches her off guard
She usually inwardly doubts people when they compliment her, but your tone is so genuine that there's no room for her insecurities
From then on, she's able to discern you from the other employees
If she can, she tries to get your help when she needs it
She trusts you more than the other employees, all because you were so genuine in your first interaction
Out of all the eyes that gaze adoringly at her all day, only yours matter to her
When she spots you looking at her, she gets a boost of confidence—real confidence
You're her little magic charm, and she makes sure to return the favor
She'll never give any hints that you make her feel like this, but she'll treat you better than every other employee
Which basically only means that she knows your name and she doesn't snap at you, but with her, that's pretty big
Chica
Much like Freddy, Chica likes to keep tabs on employees
She's not quite as good at it, though
She'll frequently mix up names and introduce herself to people she's already introduced herself to, but hey, she's trying her best
What makes her remember you though is your name (at first, anyway)
"Hello!! Welcome to the team!! My name is Chica, if you didn't already know."
"Hi, I'm Y/n."
"Y/n? Y/n... I love that name!! Y/n!"
From that moment on, she always greets you by name
She loves saying your name—it's a very melodic sound to her
She even starts saying it to herself when she's bored
That's the first sign of you infesting her mind
She realizes that she doesn't just love your name; your personality is also very likable
She finds herself craving more of you, wanting to find more things to like
And even to dislike; she just wants more of you in general honestly
Okay so maybe she's a little obsessed
Whenever you're working near her, she makes an effort to interact with you
She won't go out of her way to ensure that you interact often though; she'll just treasure the moments she's been given
And she isn't really the type to watch from afar, either
If she can't interact with you, she doesn't want to look at you; the longing will get to her
That doesn't mean she doesn't think about you all the time, though
Because she totally does
Monty
He doesn't really make an effort to remember many faces
Just the ones he knows he doesn't like
This is especially true with employees; he never forgets a face he hates, and he always makes sure to let them know how he feels
This has led to many employees being banned from working around Monty, either by their request or for their own safety
It's a strange feeling for him to take note of someone positively
Or at least not negatively
He's struck at first by your appearance, but he reminds himself that you might be a total nuisance
He watches you from afar, trying to confirm his pessimism
He's very surprised to find your personality tolerable
When he ventures to actually interact with you for the first time, he's even more surprised to find that you don't change your personality around him
"Hi there. You're Monty, right? I'm Y/n. I'm new here."
"Yeah, I know. So when're you comin' down to work Gator Golf?"
Needless to say, he got a little ahead of himself
He's just excited to find an employee that he actually likes
Management is also excited to discover this; and in no time at all you're almost always stationed in Gator Golf
Monty takes advantage of this in full
Whenever he gets a free moment he's by your side, telling you a joke or a funny story
You guys are fast friends
This only amplifies his positive bias regarding you
And his negative bias towards other employees; he gets even more agitated than before when an employee he doesn't like works in his domain

Forced Proximity
In honour of the FnaF movie coming out, I wanted to write something. I was inspired by a cosplay video by astrocadet on TikTok and that video's comments section, so credit to them!
When does this happen in the timeline? Who knows. Which pizzeria is the reader working at? Why is Michael called Michael and not one of his (possible) aliases? What year is this happening in? Why does the timeline for this game make no sense? These aren't important questions right now. Also yes, I'm using Michael's in-game sprite for the picture; you can picture him however you want. Hope you like the fanfic!
Fandom: Five Nights at Freddy's

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you realise you left your bag at work, you don't think much of it at first. But when you remember your keys are in said bag, you have no choice but to go back to Freddy Fazbear's. But your co-worker, the night guard is acting strange and when you get stuck in the office together, who knows what will happen?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Damn." You rested your head against the steering wheel. Of course you forgot your bag. And of course your house keys were in your bag.
Why you hadn't just put your car keys with your bag instead of in the key bowl at work, you had no idea. If you'd just done what you always do and put all of your stuff together, you wouldn't be sitting outside your house with no way of getting in.
You really needed to stop procrastinating and get that spare key made.
But, for now, there was nothing to do but drive twenty minutes back to Freddy Fazbear's and get your keys.
You turned the car back on and began driving back to your place of occupation. Why were you working at Freddy Fazbear's? After everything you'd read about it in the newspapers, you weren't really sure. The pay wasn't bad, but you knew you could get a better job. Maybe it was just morbid curiosity that held you there. Maybe if you hung around long enough, you'd find out what had happened to all those missing kids.
You'd never been in the pizzeria after hours. You knew there was a night guard but beyond talking a few times at staff meetings and the one Christmas party that had been held, you didn't really know much about him. Michael. You were pretty sure that was his name. He was sort of cute in a "crush on the guy on the bus" kind of way.
The drive passed faster than you thought, your mind filled with thoughts of work and your co-worker. Before you realized it, you were pulling into the parking lot of Freddy Fazbear's. The lights were off inside, and the doors were locked. You knew, you'd locked them yourself before leaving. Of course you had keys for the pizzeria and not your own house.
You locked your car and walked to the door. This place was way creepier at night-time. You'd have to try harder to remember your keys so you could avoid a repeat of this, no matter how cute your co-worker was.
The key turned with a loud clunk. you heard it echo off the concrete walls and linoleum floors. You pushed the door open. The room inside was dark, the only light reflecting off the security cameras in the corners of the room.
Thankfully, you knew your way around the place well enough that you could make your way around in the low lighting. But you could feel the hairs standing up on the back of your neck. Something felt off.
You stepped into the staff room and quickly found your bag where you had left it. You opened it and ran a hand through the contents. You’d be damned if your keys weren’t in there. But no, your keys were exactly where you thought they would be, in the inside pocket next to your staff id.
You closed your bag again and turned to leave. But halfway across the room you heard a loud thud from somewhere in the building. You jumped.
Could it be intruders? What was the security guard doing not patrolling the halls? You stood, locked in place. You knew you should just leave. You weren’t even supposed to be here. And it was already about 1 o’clock and you had the opening shift which started at 6. You were barely going to get 4 hours of sleep if you left right now.
But some strange duty of care made you stop. It wouldn’t hurt to just have a quick look around, or at least check in on the security guard. Maybe he was asleep? You sighed. Who needed sleep anyway?
You made your way through the halls, your shoes squeaking ever so slightly against the plastic lined floors. The noise seemed especially loud in the oppressive silence.
Suddenly a bright light flashed across your eyes from somewhere to your right. You stepped back, trying to shield your face.
“Oh my god, it’s just you.”
You lowered your hand as the light dropped to the floor. After the glare, the room in front of you seemed even darker than it should have. You could barely make out the figure inside, but you knew from the voice that it was your co-worker. Michael.
“Hey,” You tried for a calm greeting but the shake in your voice made it sound anything but, “Sorry, I left my bag here and-”
“Get in here.” You felt Michael grab your arm and pull you into the small security office. You began to protest at the rough treatment, but Michael shushed you before you could say anything. He pressed a button behind you and the door you’d just been pulled through closed with a metallic clank.
Your eyes now adjusted to the dim light, you shot Michael a questioning look. He ignored you, looking at the footage being shown on the television sitting on the table in front of him. Then, he pressed the button again and the door opened.
He leant back in his chair. “Sorry about that. You just needed to…uh…you being in the hallways would have messed with my check in on the rooms. Might have thought you were an intruder or something.”
His excuse seemed feeble and he looked like he knew it. He tried for what you assumed was meant to be a welcoming smile but instead came across as forced. “So, what are you doing here?”
“Like I was saying before I got pulled in here, I left my bag. And my keys. So I had to come back before I could get into my house.”
Michael’s eyes darted towards the screen, then to the clock. You followed his gaze. Already 2am. Time sure was passing quickly tonight. You were starting to give up on the idea of getting any sleep. Maybe you’d just have sleep in your car and then have a nap during your lunch break. You began backing towards the door.
“Well, I should go, let you get back to your work-”
“No! I mean…” Michael cleared his throat, “uh, you can’t leave right now. It’s not safe.”
You raised an eyebrow. “No safe?”
Michael nodded, eyes again darting to the screen.
“And why is it not safe? I made it here didn’t I?”
A pause. Then Michael sighed. “I don’t really know how to explain it without sounding like I’m crazy.”
You were pretty sure that ship had long since sailed. There was no way this guy was fit to be a night security guard. Or at the very least, being alone in this place every night was starting to get to him.
Michael beckoned you forward. You took a tentative step. He pressed the button again and the door closed once more. You were getting more and more concerned. Was this just a set up? Were you going to show up on the news tomorrow, the latest victim of a serial killer who was hiding as the security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s?
But then Michael pointed at the screen, you leant forward, trying to see the room clearly through the grainy footage. It was the hallway on the other side of the door. For a few seconds, there was nothing. Then a figure ran down the hallway. You could hear metal clanging as the figure passed the door, before the noise faded into the distance.
Michael pressed the button and the door opened.
“Why are you opening the door?” Your voice was shriller than you would have liked.
"We can’t use too much power."
"What do you mean we can’t use too much power?"
"This place only has a limited amount of power available each night. I have to be careful how I use it." Michael pointed to the green bar at the bottom of the screen. The words above it read “power remaining: 50%”.
“And what was that thing?” You could feel yourself beginning to shake. Shock was setting in fast that you’d expected.
“Foxy.”
You laughed. You couldn’t help it. “Foxy? You’re telling me that was Foxy? The animatronic from Pirate’s Cove? The one that gets shut down every night before we close up? The one that couldn’t be running down the hall because that’s not in its code?”
Michael nodded.
“Uh huh. And you want me to think you’re not crazy?”
Michael sighed. “It gets worse believe me.”
“Oh really?” You could hear the hysteria creeping into your voice. Because if that really was Foxy, you sure didn’t want to be in this building anymore. “Go on. Tell me how it gets worse.”
“The animatronics are possessed by the ghosts of the missing children.”
Silence.
“So the kids are dead?” You couldn’t believe that was what you were focusing on.
Michael nodded sombrely. You ran a hand over your face. Either this guy really was crazy, or he was telling the truth. No one in their right mind would joke about dead kids like this.
“And I can’t leave?”
Michael shook his head. “Not unless you want one of the animatronics to get you. We used to have more security guards you know.” From the haunted look in his eyes, you guessed he was telling the truth.
You took a shaky breath. “If I find out this was just an elaborate prank, I’m reporting you to management.”
Michael gave a weak smile. “I wish that was the case.”
You glanced at the clock. Just past 2am. Michael followed your gaze. “We only have to make it until 6. Then everything stops.”
“Only four more hours huh?” A question suddenly occurred to you, “Why do you still work here? You do this every night?”
“Let’s just say I have history with this place.” Michael’s expression was tight, “I can’t quit just yet.” You could tell he wouldn't say any more.
"I guess we just have to make it through the night then."
~
The evening passed quickly, Michael focusing on keeping the animatronics out and you trying to keep your fear at bay.
The clock now displayed 5am. But it had only showed the hours, not minutes so you had no idea how close it was to 6am and freedom.
You glanced across to Michael. He seemed more frantic than earlier in the night.
"Sorry, I don't think we're getting through tonight."
Your stomach dropped at his words and your eyes flicked over the power bar: only 1% left.
"We might still make it."
But before Michael could reply, the lights turned off with a loud clunk and the whirring of some machine turning off.
You smothered a scream and felt around until you found Michael's shoulder. You wrapped your arms around him and felt him hug you back.
"I'm sorry." His voice was soft and you could hear it shaking.
You tried to calm your breathing, though it was getting increasingly hard. "You did your best."
A loud clanging noise echoed down the corridor outside.
"Just in case we die, I always thought you were cute."
You could hardly believe it. Now you were getting a confession? Just as you were about to die? "Really?"
"Yeah."
"I've had a crush on you since my first day here."
"Guess we were a little late with figuring out our feelings."
The clanging grew louder until it sounded like it was just outside the door. The percent of power ticked lower.
Michael hugged you closer, pressing his face into the top of your head. "I'm sorry."
Suddenly, a bell chimed, playing Westminster Quarters as the sound of children cheering played over the speakers. You jumped at the sudden noise, clinging closer to Michael, your eyes squeezing shut.
So you were surprised to hear him laugh, short and almost hysterical. "We did it. We did it!"
You opened your eyes cautiously and saw, on the camera monitor in large white letters "6 am", pixilated confetti floating down the screen.
"So we're alive?" You could barely believe it.
Michael nodded, smiling at you. "The animatronics stop after six so we're fine."
You began laughing. "Oh my god, I thought we were going to die." A thought suddenly occurred to you, "Did you really confess to me when you thought we were both about to die?"
Michael winced. "I was almost hoping you'd forget." Then he blinked, "But you said you liked me as well?"
You felt your face heat up. "Yeah, I guess I did..."
"Well I guess there's only one thing to do about that. Can I take you out this weekend? I'll be off and I know you're not working."
You smiled, nodding. "That sounds nice."
But you figured you'd better clarify one thing.
"As long as it's not a pizza date."

thanks for all the love on my last two posts, here’s an idea i thought of the other day that i actually was able to fully flesh out
☆ a growing relationship between fnaf movie!mike x fem!mall worker!reader would include :
- pre fnaf movie events
a/n : i made this in head cannon form to save time but i might make a blurb series. ALSO IMPORTANT : i try to make the reader in my fics as physically non descriptive as possible which means i try to stay away from words like “tall, short, pale, thin” etc… if there is ever an explicit description, it’ll be in the title (like how i put “fem!” or “latina”) okay that being said, enjoy!
- movie takes place in 2000s so naturally reader would work in retail whilst in college (movie!mike is thought to be in his mid-20s so i’m also making reader around that age)
- i think the first interaction between the two would be at her place of work, on a particular slow morning
- he’s only had his security job at the mall for about a week, and his employers had him bouncing around different stores, trying to find his place in the building
- which is how he ended up standing at the front your store at 10am
- he’d spoken to the assistant manager for a moment right before opening but it wasn’t until almost an hour into his shift that he’d noticed you
- he’d just failed to stifle his tenth yawn in the last few minutes when he heard your voice, snapping his brain into high alert
- “excuse me?”
- he turned his head in your direction and widened his eyes a bit before trying to relax
- you were talking to him, and you were beautiful
- “uhm, yeah?” he replied, instantly cursing himself in his mind for not replying more politely
- you obviously didn’t mind his response as you smiled sweetly, reaching an arm out, which is what made mike take notice of the to-go cup in your hand
- “sorry, i just thought you could use this.”
- oh! this surprised the man, and you took notice of the look on his face.
- to be fair this was weird, at least a little bit. you’d never given the other security guards coffee. you were always polite to them of course, but you never went out of your way to try to make an impression ike this.
- but then again, none of the other security guards were this cute
- and you thought mike was very cute
- “i know, it’s a bit weird but i was over there stacking clothes and couldn’t help but notice how tired you seemed.” you pointed to where you were just a moment ago, before you’d gone to the back room to get mike his drink
- mike looked to the area you pointed out, taking notice of the pile of clothes you’d seemed to be in the process of organizing
- mike wanted to hit himself. he was so caught up in his own head and trying to force himself awake that he didn’t even notice that you had been a mere ten feet away this entire time.
- he then looked back at you and realized he hadn’t make a single coherent reply to anything you’d said so far
- he shook his head out of his thoughts and gave you a small smile
- “no no that’s not weird” he said, taking the coffee out of your hands and trying to ignore how soft they felt as his fingertips brushed against them, “that’s really nice of you, thank you.”
- you shrugged, playing with your now free hands while trying to ignore how your heartbeat had started to quicken
- “it’s no big deal, i just thought it’d be best if you were awake in case anyone tried to rob us” you joked, earning a chuckle from mike.
- “i’m y/n by the way” you held out your hand to him
- “i’m mike” he said as he took it, giving it a light shake and reluctantly letting go
- you looked into each others eyes for a moment, and warmth started to circulate your bodies
- unfortunately, the moment was gone too fast as one of your coworkers called you over, asking for your help in taking down some boxes
- you looked back at mike, who still held the smallest smile
- “i guess i’ll see you around.” you shrugged, walking away
- as the day went by and the store got increasingly busier, you and mike failed to have anymore interactions and soon, he had to leave, saddened by the fact that he couldn’t say goodbye but also hopeful at the thought that he might see you again
- it wasn’t until a week later that he did
- he unfortunately got stationed at a kiosk near the entrance of the mall, however that didn’t stop him from walking by your store on his breaks in hopes to catch another glimpse of you
- he did this for three days until this routine paid off.
- you were working the cash register, conversing with a young girl and her mother as you bagged their clothing
- “have a good one!” you smiled brightly at the pair as they walked out of store, which is when you saw mike approach the entrance
- he walked in shyly, hands in his pockets
- he’s wanted to see you… but what did he even plan to say?
- “hey mike!” you called out to the brunette as he walked in
- he responded with his own “hi” as he walked up to the counter
- “what are you doing here?”
- “you know, just…taking a walk”
- he looked down for a moment, nerves creeping up on him. well, he thought. i might as well take advantage of this moment. i mean, you’re right there.
- with a sudden surge of confidence (and despite the sweat now pooling down the back of his neck) he looked back up and said : “i actually just realized.”
- you looked back at him expectedly
- “i never got to repay you for that coffee.”
- when asked if you’d like to cash in that debt you replied a bit faster than you would like to admit, and a date was set for the same day
- where mike had four more hours to go after his break, you had three. which you thought was more than fine, just more time to prepare for this date
- you would meet at the coffee place across from the food court after both of your shifts
- and when you did, it was like something out of a movie
- mike of course, as guarded as he his, tried his best from dumping any trauma on you and steered clear from anything he thought was too personal in fear of scaring you away. however after picking up bits and piece from your life, he had a feeling you wouldn’t judge him
- despite you basically being a stranger, he felt more relaxed than he had in years, him learning about you was enough to distract him from whatever nightmares plagued him at all hours of the day, just for a little while
- as time went on and you both kept in touch after your first date, mike began to open up a bit more
- after the first few weeks he told you about abby, more so about their situation
- you sympathized with him a bit, offering advice if he needed it and a helping hand if any issues with their current babysitter came up
- your selflessness solidified his thought that this could be something good, which led to your first kiss after your fourth date
- you figured it would take a while, you sensed from the first date that he would be a tough book to crack open, but you really liked him and were more than happy to be patient.
- back to abby :
- as much as he was okay with talking to you about abby, he hadn’t planned to tell abby about you. not knowing how she would react to adding a random woman to possibly be a part of her life after their mother
- this of course became a small issue when she began to notice how much more time he spent on the phone
- phone bill be damned, he would still lean against the kitchen wall, twirling the phone cord around his finger for at least half an hour while he talked to you
- “who is it?” abby asked one late afternoon.
- where she was supposed to be in bed already, she came out to get a glass of water, catching her brother talking in a hushed voice.
- “don’t worry about it” mike would tell her.
- “what are they saying?”
- “abby can you please just go to your room”
- she would very soon find out about your existence when one evening mike put the phone down for a second to go look for a book he wanted to tell you about
- as soon as he walked out of the room, abby jumped from her place on the couch and snuck to the phone
- “hello?” she whispered, cupping her hand over the transmitter
- “hi” you smiled, picturing the young girl that mike had described to you before
- “who is this?” abby asked, almost aggressively, confused as to why her brother has been talking to a woman
- “i’m y/n” you told her, trying to suppress a laugh
- something clicked in the child then
- gasp “are you mikes girlfriend??”
- it was just then that mike had returned, and with a face of anger and horror her snatched the device from abby’s grasp and lightly shoved her away with a light scolding “abby what the hell did i say?”
- you laughed harder at his tone
- “i am so sorry about that. what did she say to you?”
- “oh nothing” you sighed, “she just asked me if i was your girlfriend.”
- he mouthed a god dammit as he looked to the ceiling
- he wasn’t embarrassed that abby had asked, he was embarrassed that he hadn’t asked you yet
- there’s no protocol to dating as an adult. “will you be my girlfriend?” sounds too childish and when that’s out of the question, where do you go from there?
- “well…” mike shut his eyes tightly as he asked, “what did you say?”
- “i didn’t get to answer. what do you think i should have said?” you said, lighthearted but pointedly.
- swallowing the bile he felt creeping up his throat at the nerves he rubbed his hand to his sweater clad chest
- “i mean…” you continued. “do you want me to be?”
- my god yes he desperately thought but tried his best to sound casual “yeah, i’d like that”
- “well then, i suppose i am your girlfriend. maybe i can actually tell her next time”
- he sensed the teasing in your voice and gave a mixed of a chuckle and a sigh at your answer, the weight the nerves left on his chest lifted.
- “next time” he said softly, “sounds good”
☆ might start planning a part two

Five Nights Of Hell - Mike Schmidt X GN Reader
Tumblr media
Title: Five Nights Of Hell
Mike Schmidt X GN Reader
Additional Characters: Abby, Vanessa (Mentioned), and William Afton (Mentioned)
WC: 1,685
Warnings: A tiny bit of lying, flirting, teasing, William Afton, FNAF canon violence, very minor cursing, blood, injuries, death mentioned, knives mentioned, stabs mentioned, hospitals, slight angst, and fluff
Mike's alarm boomed, signaling for the young man to wake up. You groaned softly as Mike shifted in bed, his arm that was wrapped around you tightening ever so slightly before it relaxed again. He yawned softly into your neck before pressing a kiss in the same spot and flipping over to slip out of bed. Turning onto your back, you quickly grabbed Mike's wrist, stopping him from leaving.
Mike sat on the bed, huffing as he looked down at you with a small smile, "Babe... I have to get ready for work."
You pouted, tugging lightly on his hand, "I want a real good morning kiss."
He chuckled lightly, “It’s not technically the morning, but okay,” Reaching over and placing his hand against the bed on the other side of your head, leaning over you, he pressed his lips to yours. You returned the affection with just as much vigor, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him close. He kissed you deeply, passionately, before slowly pulling away. "There..." He muttered, looking at you, and giving you another quick peck before moving off the bed and walking into the bathroom. "That should hold you over for the next couple of hours." He joked, making you huff and roll your eyes.
Shutting your eyes, you decided to go back to sleep. Right as you were about to drift off into dreamland once more, you felt Mike place a lingering kiss on your cheek before you felt the blanket being pulled over you, tucked under your chin.
~~~
As the scent of hot chocolate filled the air, you sat at the kitchen table, sipping your cup; listening to the music that was softly playing on the radio. You hummed along to the song, occasionally biting into the leftover cake from a few days ago. It had been a year since you and Mike Schmidt started dating, and life seemed perfect. You adored Mike's little sister, Abby, who always brightened up your day with her infectious laughter and endless curiosity. She reminded you of yourself in those early years.
Though, at the moment, life was becoming a bit... Stressful, and odd to say the least. Mike had recently landed a job as the security guard at Freddy Fazbear's, a popular family restaurant known for its animatronic characters and family fun games. At first, you were excited for him, but a sense of worry settled in your heart. And when the policewoman, Vanessa came to your door, asking for Mike. Their hushed words, whispers, and their little walk only fueled your worries. You knew that Mike would never cheat on you, so you weren't worried about that. You were just worried about him, and Abby, in general.
One evening, as you and Mike were cuddling on the couch, the TV playing some movie you both were hardly paying attention to; he sensed your unease. "Hey, what's bothering you, babe?" He asked, his voice filled with concern, his hand coming up to brush your hair from your face.
You bit your lip, hesitant to voice your fears. "I- I don't know, Mike. It's just that Freddy Fazbear gives me the creeps. I worry about you working there, especially with Abby coming with you."
Mike embraced you warmly, planting a gentle kiss on your forehead. "I understand, honey," He spoke, watching as he hesitated before speaking, "You have nothing to worry about. You know I'd do anything to make sure Abby is safe."
You pursed your lips, your eyes staring into his brown ones as you bite back telling him that you knew he was lying. He was a terrible liar, and you knew for sure that he was hiding something. Letting out a sigh, you let a smile crawl on your face, nodding, and turning back to the TV. "Alright."
Seeing that you seemed to believe him, Mike turned back to the TV, his smile faltering as he pulled you closer to his side, and let out a small shaky breath.
"But, Clara! The baby isn't mine!"
~~~
One evening, unable to bear it any longer, you decided to go to his work. Having left your own home a couple of blocks from his, you noticed his car gone, so you knew that he had left for work then with Abby. You were able to babysit the young girl, but you also understood that she really wanted to spend more time with her older brother, and she really wanted to go to the restaurant to explore. You made your way to the restaurant, feeling a mix of excitement and fear. Pulling up to the restaurant, you sat in the car noticing Mike's car and a police car parked outside. Clearing your throat, you hopped out of your car and shut the door, walking up to the double doors.
As you entered the terribly lit building, you stalked the halls, feeling an eerie feeling of someone watching you; along with hearing voices coming from another room somewhere around the corner; you couldn’t understand what they were all saying. Only when you entered the main room, did you freeze, seeing a man in an old yellow rabbit suit kick Mike right in the head. Your eyes widened in fear.
A wave of terror washed over you as you realized Abby was trapped somewhere in this nightmare. With the courage you didn't know you even possessed, tried to move closer. The animatronics, once friendly and lovable, were now twisted, mind-controlled ghouls hell-bent on destroying everything in their path.
As you made your way deeper into the building. The love you had for Mike and Abby fueled your determination to rescue them from this living nightmare. As the man was distracted by Vanessa, you rushed over to Mike, who you found, battered and bruised. Tears streamed down your face as you took in his broken form.
"M- Mike," You choked out, your voice trembling. "Where's Abby?"
Mike's eyes met yours, blinking slowly as his battered form curled on the floor, blood dripping from his bottom lip and a small gash on his temple. He blinked and looked at you sluggishly, opening his mouth to answer, only for the girl in question to run up to the two of you. Her cries broke your heart, shattered it, as you tried to stop the bleeding in multiple places on his body with ripped pieces of your cotton shirt.
Your mind seemed to cloud, the adrenaline rushing through your veins, chilling your blood as everything happened all around you. One minute, you were trying to soothe and help Mike, and the next, you watched in awe, shock, and horror as the four animatronics dragged a dying William Afton to his final resting place. The restaurant was beginning to crumble, falling as the hold Afton had on the place began to fall apart.
In the blink of an eye, your body moved for you, helping Mike up, his arm looping over your shoulder as you, him, and Abby helped a dying Vanessa up off the floor. Exiting the restaurant, you finally let out a huge breath, finally being able to breathe. The night air hits your face, clearing the fog in your head, and allowing clarity to return.
You didn't remember much, you remember driving to the hospital, Vanessa laying in the back seat with Abby, Mike groaning in pain next to you. Once you entered the hospital, they took Vanessa for her stab wound, Abby for some minor cuts and bruises, and Mike for the cuts and his other wounds, leaving you alone to fill out whatever paperwork, and to sit alone in the waiting room.
Finally, after over an hour, you were able to see Mike in his room, where Abby was already waiting. Immediately as you entered, you saw bandages wrapped around his arms, legs, and so on; in a blue hospital gown. Abby sat on an armchair, already passed out, a hospital notepad and pen lying on the bedside table beside her; she had already drawn on it.
You sighed, shutting the door behind you as you walked over to the other chair by the bed, pulling it closer to Mike, you sat down. Taking his uninjured hand in yours, you sighed. "Mike." You whispered softly, "As I live and breathe, you’re never going to work somewhere cursed ever again." Your hands shook, as you felt your voice catch in your throat.
With a weak smile, Mike's hand tightened around yours, making you look up at him with wide teary eyes. "Hey, honey," He muttered softly, his voice sore as you quickly grabbed the water beside you, helping him take careful sips.
Placing the cup back down, you let out a sigh, "Hi, Mikey." You took his hand once more, "Are you feeling alright?"
Smiling again, Mike gave your hand a tight squeeze, "Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired, that's all." His eyes drooped, "Why were you there?"
"I was worried about you." You began, looking over at Abby briefly before looking back over at Mike, "I don't want to talk about this right now while you are injured and healing. So, when you're better, we'll talk - not in a bad way, I’m not going to leave you or anything because of this."
Mike nodded, letting out his own sigh, "I'm sorry... I didn't want you to worry. But I guess that didn't-"
Raising your other hand, you brushed the hair from his forehead, careful of the crisp white bandage. "Shush, you. No more talking. All you have to do now is rest."
Mike smiled faintly, nodding his head. Closing his eyes, he let out a small sigh before slowly falling back asleep. You smiled, leaning back on your chair for a moment, you got up, you grabbed the extra blanket that hung on the edge of Mike’s hospital bed. Walking over to Abby, you ruffled out the blanket before laying it over the young girl, making sure she was warm in the sort of chilly room. Sitting back into your chair, you leaned back again, trying to make yourself comfortable; you shut your eyes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Wow! Good Job, newbie, we cleaned up in under 2 hours!" Dj's room was finally thoroughly cleaned, and thanks to you, your bright Idea of using some sort of Shop-vac to pick up toys, candy, and other stuff left by kids made this whole Job thing a little easier.
Cyrus, who had just finished putting the vac away, stood by as you sat on the floor, sipping a freshly opened juice box. Looking at his fazz watch, the time read 1:15pm, and a satisfied smile formed his lips. "If we keep this up, we can reach the daycare area by 5. You get the gist of things quickly, Newbie; I knew you'd get the hang of it. Plus, I think you went to the top of Mr. Dj's new friend's list." Chuckling, you sipped more of your juice. "I'm not his friend, Cryus; I just complimented his sunglasses." Cryus sat next to you, slightly nudging your shoulder. "Yeah, and everything else. I knew you didn't say anything, but I can easily see a person's body language when they're geeking out. So you're a robot fan, huh?" Your eyes rolled. "Glamrocks, actually." His eyes widened. "No way, really? Wow, is that why you took the job? Wait... you're not planning on anything weird with Freddy and the others, are you-OUCH!! Hey!! Hey!" He laughed when you hit his shoulder.
"Take your mind out of the gutter; I got this job for the money. Besides, I may be a geek, but at least I'm not like one of those Crazed fans who always kiss their posters." Cyrus nodded. "True, we had a fair of those people come here, not to Freddy, but foxy, surprisingly. Poor guy, we had to close his meet and greet early one day because an older woman came to him with his shirt off." "PFFFT" Apple juice came out of your nose as you and he began to die with laughter. Not believing him, you turned to him with surprise once you stopped coughing. "Really? You're shitting me." His head shook. "Nope, not kidding; I got the whole thing on tape if you want to see it later?" Sighing, your head shook.
"Can this place even surprise me more? First, the pizza here is actually good, Second, I meet a Gianormous spider, who's not a human-eating creature, and finally, I get told a story where Foxy almost got molested." Chuckling, Cyrus put his arms behind his back. "You'd be surprised at what happens at the daycare; Poor Sun has to deal more with the kid's actions than Jester and Moon." Your head tilted.
"Jester and Moon?"
"Oh, they are the attendants with Sun, but their moment to shine is when Nap-Time happens. Jester was meant for both morning and Day, but he takes Tag too seriously." Smirking, you leaned onto your right elbow, now fully onto the floor. "Sounds like me; I hate kids." "Same...but someone has to take care of them while the Parents are gone, the same as we have to take care of this place..." Standing up, he stretched.
"Alright, if we head to the Glamrocks dressings rooms now, we'll still be able to make it while they are still performing, which makes perfect timing for us to clean. Now, being the Geek that you are...I doubt they would be out now, but don't worry, I will give you plenty of chances to see them when that time comes." Nodding, you adjusted your hat. "No problem, not in a rush when it comes to that anyway; I know how busy they all can be. Especially Freddy." Cyrus smiled at you. "Glad you understand, Newbie; now come on. DJ! WE OUTA HERE!!"
"Right on! Thank you, Cyrus and little lady! Don't be a stranger, ok?"
Chuckling, your co-worker held a thumbs up towards the tunnel. "Will do! Say Hi to Mini Dj for us!! Come on, Y/n, let's head to the VIP area." Nodding, you followed behind as he began to walk, grabbing the mop bucket as the both of you headed that way.
In all reality, Mr. Dj's room was pretty neat, even though it was large and a lot to clean; you had fun getting to know the spider, the area, and Cyrus a little more.
This job won't be so bad if the other animatronics are excellent as Dj.
Just as long as you keep your head up and do not embarrass yourself in front of the Glammrocks, you should be fine...
Right?
..........
...........
...........
"Cyrus! What are you doing here?!" With a lot of walking, you both made it to the VIP area.
It was huge, right next to the entrances, as many different colored rooms were aligned inside a vast wall, each color representing a different Glamrock and their personalities.
Besides the rooms, you were taking in the mall itself, as the true size of it through your eyes was amazing. Multiple floors, stores, and people surrounded the structure, as familiar music from the Glamrocks played throughout the area.
Many children, adults, and teens walked passed the screen in many different directions, the camera focusing on you as you tried your best not to bump into any people, the mop bucket still being pulled by your grasp.
Not being bothered by Cyrus, he was heading over to a familiar yet older boy, who was shocked to see your Co-worker at this moment. "Gregory! My man!" Giving each other a hug, Gregory fisted his shoulder. "Look at you, man; Summer treated you well." Cyrus was shocked by his comment. "Look at me?! Look at you! You are all grown up! Just yesterday, you and Freddy were being chased by killer Vanny and the others! Just think of how it would go down now!." The boy chuckled while scratching his neck. "It was 8 years ago, Cyrus; Vanny's gone now, unable to hurt anyone again." "Thanks to you! Man, you Kicked that bunny's but! From the beginning, you knew she was involved with the Animatronics going a wall; now, none of them are shut down because of you. Look! You're even freddies personal security guard! How's that going?" Gregory slumped. "It's tiring; Freddy takes every chance of the day to see every. Single. Child. It's annoying enough that I must deal with the crying Kid's parents above it all. They say some...vulgar things..." Cyrus chuckled while his hands went to his hips. "That's Freddy for yah, and yes, sure, the parents suck, but hey, on the bright side, you get to spend more time with him, right?" Gregory shrugged. " I guess your right? But since he's always busy, I tend to hang out with Cassie more than anything. But enough about me, what about you? How's life going for you, and who is that? Is she your girlfriend?" He looked to you, who was being an airhead and was too busy looking around more, stars filling your eyes. Cringing at the sight of you, Cyrus turned to Gregory. "One, I still live with my mom; two, that is Y/n, the newbie; and three, no, she is not my girlfriend." "Huh." Gregory crossed his arms. "That's the Newbie? She doesn't look shy and timid to me-" "Yeah, Dean said that to Dj too...but she's a total geek; you should have seen her when I beat her at a race, anyway, are the gang still performing?" Gregory nodded. "The Guys are; Foxie and Chica don't perform until later tonight; they're practicing for their Duo downstairs. Do you guys need to clean their rooms right now?" Cyrus nodded. "Might as well, since we are on time; we just want to get it cleaned before they get done so fan girl over here....doesn't get too overwhelmed." They both looked to you, who was standing there like an idiot, who played with the ends of her hair and fiddled with your Tee-shirt. Gregory laughed at his statement, his hand lifting his hat up slightly. "I get that; I know Bonnie and Freddie can get a little touchy around new people, so I'll try to keep them distracted until you are done." Cryus patted his back. "Thanks, Gregory, always the hero; hey, Newbie!" Getting your attention, you looked at him as he motioned to you with his thumb. "Let's get started; follow me!" Nodding your head, you grabbed the mope bucket to follow him, walking past Gregory as he told you the plan, both of you heading to Freddie's room first.
Gregory, who just shook his head, sighed as familiar sounds of doors rang through his ears. Turning, he saw Freddy and Familiar animatronics coming toward him, which made him smile.
"Freddy!" He yelled, catching the attention of the bear, who was talking to Bonnie on his right side. "Gregory!" He replied, tail wagging as the boy ran up to him, latching himself onto the robot. "Look at Ya, boy, all dressed up and everything," Foxy spoke, referring to his uniform as the boy adjusted his hat. "Yeah, I never expected this outfit to be this fancy; it feels kinda weird." Monty glared at him. "You're making it feel weird, kid; it looks good on ya." Bonnie nodded. "I agree; besides, it's better than wearing those clothes daily, right?" Gregory huffed, his arms crossing. "At least those close were comfy." Freddy chuckled while putting a hand on his back. "Well, I'm proud of you, superstar; it's a rare opportunity for a high schooler to get this job; you should feel honored." The boy crossed his arms. "I'll feel honored when the stupid parents stop bullying me. Everyone besides him and Monty laughed, Freddy looking at him again. "Greggory, if I can ask, is there a way can we go to our rooms yet to recharge? There is a malfunction I need to check; my left eye seems to be a bit more blurry than usual." "I wish you guys could, but Cyrus has a Newbie with him; they're cleaning your rooms as they speak." Bonnie's eyes widened. "Theirs a new Janitor? Why isn't Dean here then?" Gregory shrugged. "Dunno, but Cyrus doesn't want to overwhelm her, so it's best if you guys do something else for now." Freddy nodded with a smile. "No problem, superstar, we'll think of something." Foxy did a stretch. "Yar...might as well be heading to my ship; I don't want Roxy putting her dirty paws on me, gold..." Bonnie's eyes rolled. "I told you, foxy, it's not roxy who steals it; kids sometimes swallow those things, you know?"
"Doesn't matter; my gold matters too much; I need to protect it." Watching Foxie walk away, trying his best to avoid crowds and kids, Bonnie just sighed. "Him and his Gold, I'm off to go play bowling. El-chip has bets of years of free tacos if I can get a perfect strike score; wanna join, Monty-Monty?" The gator just huffed, a pissed-off look hinting on his face as Freddy and the bunny grew concerned. He walked away from the group, probably heading to Gator Golf, as the three watched, unable to do anything else about it. Gregory sighed, looking at Freddy. "Did his guitar break again?" Freddy nodded sadly. "The instrument is not what it used to be, he got it before Vanny corrupted him and the others, and it was the only thing that could keep him calm. But now, it keeps breaking during performances, which concerns people and his fans." Gregory's brows furrowed. "Can't he just get it fixed?" Bonnie shook his head. "No, he doesn't trust anyone with it, especially when Cyrus switched to Daycare; he is the only one who can fix his guitar." "Then why not ask Cyrus to fix it himself? It's not like he'd turn Monty down, right?" Freddy sighed. "It's not that simple for Monty; he cares about Cyrus a lot, but since Cyrus switched to daycare, it made him angry enough to be a threat. When Vanny corrupted everyone, he went straight to Cyrus, doing something horrible that none of us can forget. " "Wow...and he doesn't want to hurt him again...I understand...Vanny caused him that fear, and to get rid of it must be hard." Bonnie nodded. "Yes, But I'm afraid for him..." Gregory tilted his head. "Why is that Bonnie?" sighing more, Bonnie looked to Monty, who seemed to be kneeling down to a Toddler, who touched the Gator's snout with pure love and fondness. Even the gator didn't show his genuine emotions; he tried to put on his best face for the toddler, not letting his Guitar or the past get to him. "Each day, that fear grows more and more, kids are getting ignored, he lashes out if nothing going right, and heck, even Roxy can't put him back in line. If something doesn't happen to help the poor guy."
"He'll just end up getting worse, day by day."
......................................................................................
"And finally, we are done!!!" It took a while, but the rooms of the glam rocks were finally cleaned.
Cyrus was impressed as you cleaned Montie's room by yourself, picking up every destroyed object, dirt, and even leftover presents from fans on the floor or the walls.
You ensured not to touch the robot's personal stuff, as everything in the room was essential and organized. This wasn't even a part of your payroll, but doing the extra stuff made at least your OCD ten times better.
Shocked as hell, his mouth was open wide as you stood up, whipping the sweat from your forehead. "It took a lot of elbow grease, but I think I managed to get it mostly cleaned-" "MOSTLY CLEANED?!" You squealed a bit as Cyrus's hands went everywhere. "THE WHOLE ROOM IS SPOTLESS!!!" You chuckled. "Yeah, guess I got carried away; I hope that isn't a problem, Cyrus." "Are you kidding?" You looked up at him smiling. "That isn't a problem, Y/n; it's a great skill to have, I wish I was like that when I was little, but of course, I had to be a pain in the ass." "Well, I am not like that; I get terrible OCD when things are misplaced, so cleaning Monty's room was basically therapy for me." You replied, feeling a hard slap coming from him onto your back. "I'm glad, newbie!" He chirped, throwing a towel over his left shoulder. "Monty can get pretty angry sometimes, even after the whole hacking incident; things have changed, and doing this for him makes the Gater a little bit happier each day." He then sighed.
"Though, that's all we could do; he didn't used to be like this." Your brows furrowed."What do you mean?" Cyrus was silent for a while before looking to the ground. "Before I transferred to Daycare, I was a mechanic for the Glamrocks." Your eyes widened. "Really? That's cool!" He chuckled. "Yeah, it was cool, alright, being able to hang out with the most excellent Robots in history, Freddy, Bonnie, Foxy, Chica, Roxy, Monty. Honestly, out of all six of them, I seemed more attached to Monty than everything; we were best friends. Whenever he malfunctioned, he came to me with the saddest eyes, or when Roxy or even Foxy said something wrong, we would always talk about the situation and work the stuff out."
He paused before pouting, trying his best not to cry just a little. "I fixed his damn guitar before every. Single. Show. His temper tantrum was the death of me of my time there, but somehow I always managed to fix it and make the gator happy. I miss that feeling....but when the glitches happened, and Freddy and the gang started to act weirder than usual, the company switched me over to daycare, which hadn't been touched by the virus at the time." Your eyebrows furrowed, and one of your hands was on his back as he struggled to get the following words out, his eyes looking at the guitar Monty o-so cares about. "He hated me leaving, and trust me, I didn't want to transfer either, but it was for my and other people's safety as well; Monty was like a brother to me. Sometimes when I try to talk to him now, I get an angry huff, and he walks away. It hurts, yes, but it's not his fault...I should have stayed when I should..." His hands ran through his hair, and shaky breaths and sad motions came from him, which made your heart instantly break. You don't know why he's telling you this when you only met him today, but hearing the story of his and Monty's bond is hard to ignore.
"Cryus...I-I don't know what to say..." He chuckled sadly, looking at you. "You don't have to say anything, Newbie....what's in the past is done, and now what I can try to do to lift his spirits is clean, clean, and clean....thank you for your help, Y/n, but, I think we should cut training today short." Your eyes widened with surprise. "A-Are you sure? We still have a lot to do-" Cyrus smirked. "Go home; night shift people will take care of the Daycare area tonight, just as long as you're ready to clean again tomorrow, alright?" Watching him get up, you were confused at first but understood since the Situation and tension were high right now; no, you nodded in agreement. "Alright, but at least let me finish up here; there are just some holes I need to patch up." He snorted at your stubbornness. "You don't quit, do you?" Shrugging, you smirked. "What can I say? You hired a germaphobe." Shaking his head with a smile, he rummaged through his pockets before throwing you something. "Alright, here." Catching it, you looked to see it was a pair of keys. "Monty's room will need to be locked when you are done; he rarely goes in here, so you don't have to worry about him coming in anytime soon." You nodded again. "Alright...thanks." "Just, when you're done, give the keys to Gregory; we don't want anything happening if those keys are found by kids or teens, okay, Newbie?"
Saluting to him, your face went cute. "Yes, sir!" He cringed. "Just finish up you doof." And with that, Cyrus left you in Montie's room.
Looking around and out of windows to see if no one was coming, your body turned, looking at Monty's broken yet elegant guitar.
Hearing his story replay in your head caused your heart to break while staring at it more, as your hands gently grasped the large instrument.
You play a little guitar at home, and you had a fair share of broken instruments, special ones. So hearing that story, knowing Monty's pain and anger, it's like looking in a mirror.
Everyone has bad days, but this Monty has been dealing with a lot of them for many bad days.
Yes, you are a Janitor, and Yes, you shouldn't be thinking this, and yes, it's only your first day, but if you were going to work here forever, you might as well start building a relationship with your co-workers and even the glam rocks. Feeling the guitar, every inch, string, and flaw this machine has, you knew exactly how to fix it. "Alright, Monty, you suffered enough days of anger......Now..."
"It's time to make things right."
