Sometimes I think about the situation twenty years ago. And it can certainly be seen that in the area of sexuality and stereotypes around various topics it is decreasing.
My journey to self-discovery in my early youth was quite challenging. Just because there was less information. And so it was much more difficult to find similar people. And at the same time, it was quite difficult to confide in anyone without the risk of ridicule. All that was left was to hide from the world and get to know yourself in the safety of your home. Because the internet wasn't full of places back then where sexuality and its various forms could be openly discussed. Fortunately, we are further along today.
In a certain respect, the right was won. The right to be yourself. Of course, I realize that it is not the whole world. In the denocratic-minded world, we are still not fully respected. But at least we are tolerated. So it is possible to move freely and express oneself publicly. Maybe it's not enough for some, but for me it's a big progress. Precisely because, unfortunately, I am not twenty years old anymore.
Sometimes I'm a little envious of the younger generation who can perceive themselves better and sooner as they really want. Those who haven't experienced it before will probably not understand me too well. I just want to say live your life and don't be afraid to express your desires and inner self.
