Zombie Bustier AU

An AU where everything’s the same except Miss Bustier is a flesheating zombie who uses a voicebox to speak to her class.

Unintentionally scares the crap out of students, shambling and growling with her arms stretched out in the halls, moaning for “brainnsss”. What she means to say is “It’s important to have brains in school.”

Very VERY protective of her students. If someone is bullying them, she will tear into their flesh.

Happily married to her zombie wife, Giselle, which the students find to be adorable.

In her classroom, cheating and bullying is a nono. Get caught doing it more than once, and you’re dead, literally. As a result, Chloe Bourgeois hasn’t hurt anyone at the school in years.

Feels sad whenever she watches zombie movies. Why are all of her friends being killed?

Akumatizations don’t work on her, since she isn’t human. Also, due to her teachings and the fact that nobody wants to piss off a FUCKING ZOMBIE, none of the akumatizations of her class have come from bullying of each other. In fact, Hawk Moth isn’t a problem anymore. After she found out that Gabriel was the cause of Nino becoming the Bubbler, she went all the way over to the Agreste mansion and ate his brains. Nathalie stayed in Paris with Adrien, due to the fact that Bustier would eat her as well if she took him away from his friends.

Is there ANY character you removed from your AU?

Also, do you have an episode list? Or at least some episodes that you won't be keeping? If so, which episodes did you remove and why? And do you have how many seasons planned?

Lastly, will your AU be in fanfic format, fanfic with some images to illustrate it, or something else?

As of now, I'm pretty sure every character that has appeared in canon (at least the important ones) are going to be incorporated somehow

There are some characters like Giselle (Mme. Bustier's wife) or August (Gigantitan) that aren't "important" that'll still at the very least have a cameo or brief mention

But there ARE some characters that are being added to the story such as the Quantic Kids (aka the original "Team Miraculous" from the pilot) who will have some importance.

I don't have an episode list, nor do I know for sure which episodes will/won't be added. Some episodes are vital to the plot of the canon show whereas others aren't so it's hard to say for sure which will be important to the story.

On top of this, this isn't really going to be following the typical episodic style as the show, each part is going to basically pick and choose what needs to happen including the Akuma, characters, and story so technically there aren't any "episodes" in my rewrite (but certain things will still follow a set order like in canon)

And I have 5 "seasons" planned, however I'm referring to them as Arc's instead as (like previously said) I'm not writing it episode by episode but rather important dates. Because of that each Arc will be focusing on specific things, which ranges from character arcs to world building.

And lastly, it'll be primarily fanfic format with a few art pieces here and there. Before the story officially starts, I plan to post at least all of the main cast's redesigns with a small description of what I've changed and why.

However, I do plan to keep their hero forms secret until they actually debut. Of course, this won't be the case with Ladybug, Chat Noir, or our villains though as they appear pretty much immediately.

Along with that, as small teaser, Hawk Moth and Mayura have different names in my rewrite. Hawk Moth was changed to Monarque (Monarch in French) as I think it suit's my version of Gabriel better and Mayura's new name is a secret as it's a slight spoiler to her rewritten backstory so stay tuned for that (:

was tagged by the immer lovely @cannellaeluce to share my top 10 comfort movies. I'm not actually sure I have 10, but I'll try!

In the random order that I thought of them, except for the first one because that's my absolute favorite movie.

Silverado (1986) Favorite movie when I was a kid, a classic in my family, stellar cast, fun shoot-outs, hot people in leather pants on horses. Amazing score that lingers in my head and cheers me up.

King Arthur (2004) Great score, great cast, lots of pretty greenery, SARMATHIANS OF MY HEART, great fight sequences, hot people being bloodied on horses

PS, I LOVE YOU (2007) For when I need to cry but can't. (I once watched this three times in a row because I really needed to get it out of my system)

The Mummy (1999) I like to reawaken my bisexuality occasionally. It's fun, it's pretty, it's romantic, it's FUN, and there would have been hot people on horses if they hadn't been on Beni's side of the river.

Transformers (2007) Mostly it's the score, but also the cars transforming into robots and fighting other robots is just fucking cool. Best at getting me out of the couch when I'm struggling with my mental health.

Fast Five (2011) In a way all the Fast and Furious movies are comforting. There is something incredibly relaxing about hot people in hotter cars and lots of explosions. Fast Five is my favorite though because FUN HEIST and Han and Gisele <3 <3

White Fang (1991) Big Nostalgia factor. Young Ethan Hawke and a wolfdog struggle to survive in Alaska. The Gold Rush! THE NATURE. The drama and evil bad guys. The love between the wolf and the boy... Love the book as well, but the movie, argh, my heart.

9. and 10. Should probably go together to the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Two Towers is probably my favorite of the three, but Fellowship the most comforting, but then Return of the King has 'DEATH DEATH DEATH' but also all of the healing and 'you bow for no one' and honestly, I never just watch one. I'll watch Two Towers first, cry when Haldir dies (my favorite moment of the trilogy is when the elves arrive, the whole battle of helms deep runs me through the whole scala of human emotion which is comforting in how cathartic that is), then start the whole trilogy. Perfect blanket and hot chocolate in the couch weekend comfort.

#close contenders were Free Willy and The Big Short #i don't know why i find that last one comforting either #but i rewatch it often #i think it's in the way they explain things #but also in the way that it's genuinely evil and a horrible thing that happened #and there are people angry about it on screen #have we hit a low point in history that the mere fact that people object to injustice on screen #is enough to be comforting? #all signs point to yes #otoh #my brain is also just weird #and apparently really loves hot people on horses or in cars dealing with explosions #why are action movies so comforting? #gladiator is also probably missing #great score and scenery and fights #i think it fills the same niche as king arthur in a way but I rewatch that more #otoh i have done more real life on filming location reenactments of gladiator #movies i love
