I was thinking a lot about what those awards mean and i genuinely dont care about them - like i don't even watch them live, and i dont think it matters to me; i don't go around looking at stats and accolades when i pick a group

i listen to seventeen because i like their music, i stan seventeen because when i am down i binge-watch gose [like this break right now?? making me a lil bit crazier], i remember going to my friend's house so we could chill and drink and talk about things and the night always ended with a kpop playlist and we would dance to clap or do yoga poses with a seventeen playlist on the back drop

to me is always about sharing moments - like when the wageul wageul subtitles dropped and i watched w @wongyuuu and @ssinboo and we laughed so much we needed to pause that every 4 seconds just to say something

or when i was utterly down and @ronsparky watched gose with me so i could cheer up or how i am in awe at how many special people i found out here and how y'all are utterly kind

so i dont care about an award or two but like if this soothes seungcheol's worries and if this makes wonwoo proud and if this somehow makes this year a little less bitter to seungcheol and if this makes jihoon's realize that his hard works is paying off then i care about it a little bit

listen I expected literally Nothing from the D&D movie okay, like I can't make it clear enough that I expected the most soulless money grab with a good cgi budget imaginable, I went in having already gone through every stage of grief and landed on acceptance and LISTEN

I fucking CRIED during this dumb RPG movie. it wasn't just "not terrible" it was objectively good with a clever plot and compelling characters and sincere emotional beats. this movie loves D&D so fucking much and it NAILS the "a bunch of goobers try to be cool and accidentally discover The Power Of Friendship And Also Great Violence" classic D&D party vibe. their barbarian's last name is fucking Kilgore and my entire family cried in the theater.

I hope they make twelve of these motherfuckers.

Me before completing the forest temple: okay I get that ocarina of time is fun and nostalgic for people but it’s a bit of a stretch to call it one of the greatest video games of all time

Me after completing the forest temple: By revealing that Link is not a Kokiri, but a Hylian, the game effectively strips him of his humble origins amongst a group of people that already fail to recognize him in his adult form. Thus, kokiri village instantly becomes a location that is no longer Link’s home in any sense, exacerbated by the fact that the game now loads up in the temple of time instead of Link’s bedroom— he is a stranger in the only place that has ever been familiar to him and he is depressingly reduced to his destiny alone. However, the subsequent introduction of the time travel mechanic, which allows the player to travel from the horrific apocalyptic future back to the idyllic past of Link’s childhood, gives new meaning to the idea of this “destiny”. In effect, Link is not a stock “chosen one”, but a protagonist who consciously decides to fight onwards. Link’s dual existence as a child who knows the grim future and as an adult who was powerless to stop disaster gives a sort of desperation to his character, because while it brings the player relief to revisit the Castle Town that is populated by cheerful villagers instead of lurking zombies, the story can only be progressed through the acknowledgement of reality — the decision to make those seven years pass again. Therefore, both the player and Link as a character must be proactive in their heroism and make the conscious choice to struggle onwards despite the darkness that permeates—
