Had a bit of a “regression” this past week where I had stumbled upon and subsequently ripped open an old wound.
I’m always trying to shed my grudges, but their claws are sunk pretty deeply nonetheless. Between the gaslighting and the casual disregard, it’s hard to find any closure. I have to make my own.
I broke my carbon pencil 3 times, at which point I had to call it quits.

It' a majorrrr holiday! Yassah has graduated. The ecologist-nature freak-freegan-former hippies parents, Afi & Sina, had to make the trip all the way from Evergreen for their first and only child, they were obviously so proud :)
Yas maintained their A+ GPA for both terms and has now graduated with a degree in biology. Time to move to Sulani and help clean it up! After celebrating ofc..

Growing Pains
Kinda encapsulates all of my big emotions about graduation, going to college soon, and growing up. Skull is death/fear, teddy is childhood, pics represent the memories I’ve made with friends/friendships, and grad cap is graduation/adulthood approaching. And open rib cage is how vulnerable and small I’ve been feeling lately.
Finally finished this piece for congressionals took like a month or two and several restarts but I’m finally at a place where I’m pretty proud of it. Can always improve (like I’m still learning how to shade with paint color matching suuuucks)
