Bi-Han’s jealousy isn’t from self-doubt, he is too arrogant to see failure within him, getting out of him even an ounce of insecurity is nearly impossible. However, people should know better than to play with his most sensible and yet biggest nerve that is his ego. He'll take it as an attack on his honor if he sees someone with clear ulterior motive trying to take away the one thing he has the most pride for, you.

While he is slightly overprotective, as it is the very first time for him to fall that hard for someone and is clearly inexperienced to romantic relationships, he is rational enough to neither be paranoid or controlling of whoever approaches you, but for those fools trying to interfere between his couple, may Liu Kang bless them.

When he sees someone with ambiguous intentions (which seems ambiguous to you but not for Bi-Han) talking to you he doesn't make his presence known immediately and stays silent, but you can clearly see his anger slowly taking over him as a deep frown appears over his watchful eyes which holds a 'So you have chosen death' look to the one causing his anger. If they don’t pay attention because they are too indulged in his partner's pretty eyes, you'll find a protective hand wrapping itself around your waist and an angry boyfriend by your side. It should be clear to anyone that when Bi-Han displays physical affection to the public's eyes, it means a warning that someone is close to his limits.

If everyone is lucky, the troublemaker will leave you and Bi-Han alone, if not, it might escalate quickly. Bi-Han will tell them to back off with a not-so-subtle threat, that would get anyone run away quickly in a second. But, Bi-Han is ready to take action if this ‘pathetic idiot’ tries to touch you or tells you vulgar words, remember what he did to Johnny in his mansion when he touched him? It’s the same here, the person is flying across the place with bruises that will need a long time to heal. And Bi-Han will end with another threat before leaving the place angrily with you.

Reassure him isn’t as easy as to make him jealous, it will take time but you’ll resolve his anger. Just be close to him and listen to his rambling about how idiotic that person was, then cut him off with an unexpected kiss that’ll make him stop talking. Suddenly he loses his words and remains silent, which gives you the time to tell him how you only have eyes on him and no else, how you love everything about him that makes him unique from the rest.

He doesn’t doubt your love, but it does put him in a slightly better mood when you tell him this, hearing lovely speeches from you always does even it’s hard to admit. He confirms your words and continue rambling on whether or not the person was bold or oblivious to the fact you were clearly his already, moreover on how disrespectful were they to you, his love, the spouse of the Grandmaster of one of the deadliest and most glorious clan in all the realms.

“Are you going to brood all day or you’ll let me demonstrate that I only love you?”

He thinks about your words for a second only, despite that he has to swallow his pride, he prefers to bath in your affection than to think more about someone who doesn’t deserve his care. And that’s how you tame a jealous Bi-Han.

Do you think Diluc’s popularity would still be the same if he hadn’t gone through the tragedy he did with his father? Adelinde told us that Kaeya was the calm one and Diluc was the troublemaker who tried to steal wine from the cellar and often bailed out on his punishments as well.

If he hadn’t gone through what he did, his personality would have been quite different I believe. I think he would be a mix of Childe and Ayato (Mostly Ayato but the recklessness of Childe). Idk. I just want this man to smile more and be the bright eyed ambitious knight he was 😭 he could have been the new grandmaster of Mondstadt

hi babes! an amazing knight with heart & conviction, a playful side & a wonderful smile- i do think that people would still love that a lot (me included) plus he’d still be sooo beautiful! & sexy knights makes us all go brr heh

but i do think his tragedy does make him more appealing to the heart, if that makes sense? someone who’s consumed by pain & anger but still finds himself so kind & fulfilling the duties to protect the city he loves - i think it brings out a lot of layers to who he is that draws people to him more, that makes you want to peel past them & see who is underneath

i agree that he’d likely be different had crepus not died! (& i do agree he’s like ayato & childe in his ways hehe) his father was such a HUGE part of his life & im sure had crepus been able to remain by his side diluc could have continued to feel like there was more worth smiling for, more reasons to be carefree & like the weight of the world is not entirely on his shoulders, he probably would smile more & totally rise so high up in the knights & even to be grand master but truly, i think diluc even after the death of his father is still that reckless & playful boy, he just doesn’t show it quite the same or as openly as he once did

Hii! Me again! Oh I loved the Miles one. Could I request another one with Miles x reader where reader is a part of a ninja clan and is the neice/nephew (GN) of the grandmaster. And reader See's Miles (before he gets bit) in trouble, maybe with some thugs, and helps him. Him and reader continue to be friends and eventually start dating. One day Miles asks to meet their family and reader is like, oh yeah sure. And he gets really freaked out because he didn't know reader was a Ninja and the reason they didn't tell him is because they thought it was obvious.

If you need a name for the clan Koga or Iga-ryu.

( summary: Miles, your boyfriend of four months, has asked you to meet his parents on Sunday but your life as a ninja sorta gets in the way )

“You want me to what?” “Meet my parents!” Miles smiled and took both of your hands. “Pleaseeee.” You sighed at his puppy dog eyes, dropping your head and mumbling to yourself. You felt one of Miles’ hands leave yours before he cupped your face to make you look at him. “Hey it’ll be alright, they’ll love you I promise.” You pouted and he kisses your cheek. “Plus I already sorta told them you said yes so,” Your mouth was left agape as you took a step back from him. “Miles! What the hell? What if I had something to do!” You crossed your arms. “Do you have something to do?” He asked, and there was a silence that stretched between you both. “…no.” “Exactly.”

You hadn’t lied, you really did have nothing to do that day, or so you thought. Your father, who was the leader of a ninja-esc organization known as the Koga clan, had a job for you. You accepted, because you had to and totally forgot that you were meant to have dinner at Miles’ house with his parents that same day. It didn’t even render for you until he called you in the morning and started ranting about how excited he was. Your heart dropped at the realization, you tried to get some words in to tell him you might have to reschedule but he kept cutting you off, telling you how happy he was that you and his parents can meet and about how his mom is already cooking a bunch of food. You felt so bad with every happy comment that left his mouth that by the time he stopped ranting to you and let you speak you just forced a smile he couldn’t see and told him you couldn’t wait. After hanging up you simply paced your room, unsure of how to go about this. You were meant to go to his house by five, but you just know you wouldn’t be done by then. You didn’t want to make Miles sad but you couldn’t let your father down. Still, it was unfair to your boyfriend to stand not only him up but his parents as well.

You sighed as you sat on your bed, legs bouncing as you weighed your options. Miles meant so much to you, he was there for you whenever you needed and cleaned your wounds from the fights you’d lie to him about. He just assumed you were a troublemaker seeing as the first time he met you, you seemed to be picking a fight with two guys that were two times your size. He was able to stop the thugs from beating you; you could’ve handled it yourself but he didn’t necessarily know that, plus that mission had just gone wrong at every turn so you were grateful that he stepped in. You guys were friends for so long before he confessed to you one night while cleaning an especially bad wound, and you’ve been together since.

You ran to your father to practically beg him to send someone else. When he asked why you told him that Miles had invited you over to meet his parents, your father wasn’t convinced. He told you to tell Miles you wouldn’t be able to make it, and walked right past you.

At the end of the day, you really didn’t have a choice, you’d have to complete your mission. Though, you did convince your father to start the mission an hour earlier and told Miles that you may have to push the time back from five to six or six-thirty. When he asked why you just said your strict dad had made things a bit more complicated. You said that your dad was apprehensive about you meeting his parents and Miles’ solution? Bring your dad with you! You barked out a laugh when you got that text and told him that there was no way in hell your dad would go with you.

Your mission was initially going really well, you even thought you’d be able to make it to Miles’ house on time, but of course everything had to go wrong last minute. The squad that was sent with you got ambushed leaving you completely in the dark. You still got the information even without the help of the others and were preparing to leave only to get spotted last minute and chased out the building. This entire ordeal pushed back your original exit time of 5:30pm to 6:30pm, the time you told Miles you’d show up. So now you were late and injured and annoyed, you were probably making a terrible first impression on Miles’ parents.

By the time you made it back to your father it was well past 6pm and you tried to skip over getting treatment and just rush to get dressed but your father made you sit down to be checked over. You were holding back tears as you noticed the clock. It was around 7:25 when you were able to find texts from Miles asking if you were still coming, the latest one just told you to forget about it and to just stay home. You felt awful, you didn't know how to fix this. You'd texted him back asking him to reschedule but he just left you on read. So now your walking to his house with tons of gifts and food in your hands, hoping that Miles and his family were home and open for a retry. Miles had ignored you for a whole day after and you couldn't take it anymore so you had to not only go see him but also make amends with his family. Getting up the steps of the house were harder than they should've been, not only from you being sore but also because of the weight of the boxes and bags. You placed them down and rung the doorbell, grabbing a bouquet from the top of a box. Luckily Miles was the one to open the door, his face dropping when he realized it was you.

"What do you want?" His question came out harsh and you winced as if it'd physically hit you. You held out the bouquet of flowers towards him, "Miles! I'm really sorry about Sunday! Can we just talk please?" He scoffed and was about to say more but you'd cut him off before he could. "I brought you and your family some things to make up for it." You spoke quieter than before and Miles was silent for a moment, looking at you then to the boxes, then to the bouquet.

When he finally took the flowers from your hand you'd let out a breath you didn't know you were holding in. "...I'll be right back." He shut the door on your face and you sat on the steps hoping that he's not just leaving you there as payback. When the door did open again it was not only Miles but also his mom. You quickly stood up and gave a sheepish wave. His mom crossed her arms and glanced at Miles before looking back at you, her mouth pressed into a thin line, it was clear now that she was waiting for you to speak. "Hi! Uhh my names Y/n, I'm Miles' partner.." You glanced at the boxes, "I'm super sorry I wasn't able to make it on Sunday my dad just made everything very complicated and in the end I couldn't really go and...you don't wanna hear me complain so." You placed a hand on the boxes and gave her an awkward half smile. "How about a do-over..? There's uhm food and also just some gifts for all of you in there, I felt really bad so I sorta went over on the buying." You heard her let out a nose laugh and your eyes immediately snapped to her face to decipher whether it was a mocking one or not. Luckily the large smile growing on her face told you all it needed to. After looking back towards the door where Miles stood with his father, who you swear wasn't there a second ago; they both gave her a nod and she turned back to you and smiled. "A do-over would be nice." You almost cried at those words but you held it back, just glad that you got a second chance.

After helping moving the boxes and bags into a space in the house you'd pulled Miles aside and asked if you could talk to him alone. He led you to his bedroom and shut the door behind you both so that you could speak more privately. "Miles, I'm so sorry I just stood you up-" Miles held up a hand in front of you to get you to stop talking, "It's fine-" "No, it's not..." You grabbed both his hands and sighed. "It's not fine at all.." A silence fell over the both of you again, only this time it was comfortable and not tension filled. You closed your eyes and took a breath. "Miles, I have something to tell you ok?" He nodded, his eyebrows furrowing in concern. "The reason I wasn't able to go on Sunday was because.." You trailed off as you considered really going through with this. You're not supposed to tell anyone but this is Miles, you love and trust him and though it may seem reckless to tell him you felt as though now was the right time. "It's because of your dad right?" He added after you hadn't spoke in a while, "does he...hit...you..?"

"What?"

"What?"

"What the hell! No, I'm a ninja!"

"You're a nin-what?!"

"I'm a ninja Miles! Oh my gosh what?! I cant believe you- no my dad does not hit me!" A laugh escaped your mouth, the topic being inadvertently funny to you in the moment. "Ok ok ok, backtrack," Miles crossed his arms, "did you just call yourself a ninja? Is this some sort of joke?" You shook your head, "No, my dad sent me on a mission on the same day I was supposed to meet your parents and I didn't realize until it was too late so I couldn't cancel and you just sounded so happy about it so I tried to make it work but then everything went wrong and so I was late and I got hurt so I couldn't rush over-" "You got hurt?" "yes, but that's besides the point." You placed your hands on Miles shoulders. "What I'm trying to say is I'm sorry and I know this whole thing sounds like a joke but I'm serious about it ok?" Miles glanced away from you before his eyes softened and he slowly nodded. "Ok, I believe you.." You smiled and placed your hand on his cheek, leaning in to plant a soft kiss on his lips, which turned into two and then three before a knock on his door broke you both out of it. "Miles whatever you're doing in there you better stop hogging Y/n! I still want to talk to them ya know!" Miles chuckled in embarrassment before yelling to his mom that he'd be right out. He kissed you once more before leading you back to the living room. You helped his mom heat up the food properly so that you all could eat like originally planned. "I don't know exactly why you weren't able to make it here last time but I'm glad you tried again on your own." Your head snapped into the direction of Miles' mom and you smiled. "Yeah I felt really bad, I'm still sorry by the way.." You looked to the floor, "It's alright, you're here now." The conversation lulled off again for a while. "Take care of him." She smiled and continued when you gave her a confused look. "Miles of course, you may be his lover but I'm still his mother and I'd like to know that he'll be safe out there." You gave her a determined nod, "I promise I care too much to let anything happen to him. I'll keep him out of trouble don't worry!" She chuckled at your sudden enthusiasm but nodded. "Good."

The rest of your night consisted of eating dinner with Miles and his family, having his dad slip in sly parental threats into almost every sentence which would be followed by Miles groaning out of embarrassment or Miles' mom scolding, or agreeing with, her husband, All in all, it was a good night in your opinion and you were super glad to have this second chance.

This is another fandom I spotted in the fandom combats. The vid is shorter than I'd normally show, but I wanted to showcase this interesting vampire fandom that I didn't think most people at Escapade had heard of yet.

Another one breaking my rules. Nandermo was a must-have for a vampire-themed year, but mockumentaries are shot like ass on purpose, and that makes them hard to vid, so my options were limited. Bironic's always a sure thing, if not exactly obscure to an Escapade audience.

Night Watch was such a passion of mine for a while and the source of my ill-fated attempt to learn Russian. I always meant to go back and add text to this vid to echo the weird subtitles they did for the movie, but I never got around to it. Oh well.

I had a long list of vampire fandoms, most of which I never did find a vid for, but The Hunger was at the absolute top of my list. After scouring the internet, this was the only arguably danceable vid I could come up with and one of the few in general. What the hell, internet? What the hell?!

This would be a lot more danceable if it weren't quite so plastered with show audio… but too bad. As usual, sufficiently horny femslash gets an automatic pass. Everyone swayed vaguely on the edges of the dance floor staring, so I still consider it a success.

Guardian is another fandom where I'm spoiled for choice, but the Chinese vidders do like to include an awful lot of dialogue. This vid stood out for great dance party music and no audio clips.

A lot of people were into Sandman this year. I liked this vid for making me feel a lot of feelings despite never having seen the show and barely remembering the comic.

It's a bit slow dance for Escapade, but I loved the emotion in the song too much to not include it.

This one was pure self-indulgence on my part. It was made for a con by a vidder everybody knows, but the vidder felt it required too many content warnings and didn't send it in the end. I, however, reserve the end of the dance party to show more content warnings-heavy things if I feel like it. I despise how fandom has turned into a "compromise" where anything that reaches into my soul is never on the table while pabulum always is. Fuck that. I am the arbiter of what's normal.

Johnny Cage, former child actor and social media star. Ladies man waiting for the perfect girl to fall for him.

Sonya Blade, daughter of a Special Forces commander and Johnny’s crush. Has a strong hatred for Kano and ALWAYS suspects he’s onto something.

Jax Briggs, Sonya’s best friend and moral support. Incredibly defensive and loyal.

i have a lot of respect for elzar here for not arguing and leaving politely because if it were me i don’t know if i could bite my tongue. yoda is not saying the jedi should stay away from the conflict after one battle, a month of conflict. it has been years, at this point. jedi, his people, are trapped with agents working to capture them and torture or kill them. elzar is not arguing for going to war, like stellan once did; how avar wanted to go about it; he’s simply imploring the council to at least try to rescue them. yoda not only telling him they should not, in fact, do any of that, but that they should focus on his nebulous idea of healing the force and basically shooing him away is…it’s bad. if i’m being nice. he’s not saying this to a jedi we haven’t met before; a coruscanti librarian who has not seen battle; he’s saying it to a jedi who was at the ground for close to every. single. major attack that has happened. a jedi that was on the legacy run investigation. jedi who was warned by the force itself. marshal of the valo temple. sole survivor of the last breath of starlight; a jedi who almost died in a ship crash, who had to cut himself off of the force because of the toll the vision took on him. to dismiss him as if any padawan or common troublemaker angers me; what kind of grandmaster are you if you refuse to not just hear out one of your most famous and accomplished masters, but to send him away? it would be awful should he do it to any jedi - but it’s worse when he does it to a first hand victim of the atrocities he brushes off. perhaps had he been willing to share the knowledge of the nameless he helped hide many years ago, someone could have come up with a solution a long time ago. no one can deny yoda is a jedi of incredible wisdom and accomplishment - but his secrecy keeps getting people killed. in the past. in phase i. at the end of this issue. and in the future to come.

DILUC is a man of virtue. He sets everything on modest and high standards, whether be it the business things or even... romance? So when news spreads that he is engaged to you, the troublemaker of Lawrence Clan, nobody believed it. No one can even fathom how you two dated each other in the first place.

They were expecting him to get together with Jean, The Acting Grandmaster of the Knight of Favonius. She is the perfect match for him, they said. You once asked Jean if she harbored any romantic feelings for the man, but she simply smiled at you and told you she doesn't remember having more than platonic feelings for him before leaving for knights work.

As for Diluc, you already know the answer for that. He did and that's why you two ended up in this situation. Well, it benefits the both of you so it's all fair... at least that's what you think.

The moment Diluc agreed to date you for a show, he soon regretted it after seeing your mess. He can not keep up with all of your shenanigans.

How did you two even stumbled upon each other to begin with? You and him we're quite the nemesis, you dislike each other. Long story short he asked about the conditions and agreed to fake date. You promised to help him with Jean too, the end.

“Hey, is master Diluc really engaged to that Lawrence troublemaker?”

“I couldn't believe it too, but i heard master Diluc confirmed it already to miss Adelinde. They don't look like a couple at all, to be honest. I'm betting that they won't last a month before breaking off the engagement.” The two maids laughed at each other before glancing back at you pestering Diluc.

“I advise you to get back to cleaning before the young master hears you.” The voice of Adelinde behind caused the two maids to shriek. They immediately nodded and walked away from the headmaid.

Adelinde glanced back at you who now looks around the structure of the manor. She also finds your relationship suspicious because as far as she knows, you are not Diluc's type— he said he doesn't have one but if he does, it's not you— and certainly, you and he never had a proper conversation without bickering at each other, so how come you two suddenly got engaged?

“Hey, mister grumpy red-headed man, can I get some of your grapes?” Diluc sent you a frown look at the nickname you just called him. He only sighed and keeps reminding himself to stay patient with you or else you might snitch on him and tell everyone his secret.

“Go on and ask Elzer if it's already time to harvest them,” He replied.

“You won't get angry? I might take home all of your grapes and you won't have enough to make your favorite grape juice.” You sure are really testing his patience. Diluc took a deep sigh before opening his mouth.

“You can even take everything, I don't care. Also, grape juice is not my favorite, I just prefer it over alcohol.” He said before going back to the paperworks infront of him.

And you, being you, sure did take all of his grapes. That made Diluc's day sour all day. He didn't expect you to do it, he was just trying to test you how far can you go. But because of this, he finally learned his lesson to not provoke you.

Later that morning, as usual, you're gonna be in Angel's Share at night. But this time, everyone seems to have their eyes on you while whispering at each other.

‘Ah, they must be talking about the engagement.’ You thought and sat beside drunk venti on the counter where your fiancee is polishing the glass on the other side.

When his ruby eyes connected with yours, you sent him a smile and winked at him. He deadass look at you more before rolling his eyes.

“Aww, why do you have to ignore my advances at you, my dear fiancee,” And now you are smirking at him.

“I am not, I'm just busy here.” He reasoned out before turning his back on you. You rest your cheeks in your palms while still having your eyes on him. You let down your sight at his back, which let me tell you is a bad idea because just the mere sight of his back in black long sleeves polo and white vest that hugs his tiny waist is enough for you to look away and gulp your drink.

“Dear Barbatos, that was hot,” You muttered under your breath.

“Ah, I see, you are thirsting over your fiancee. Understandable, he's your soon-to-be-husband anyway.” You turn your head to your side to give Venti a look of horror. Seeing your reaction, he just laughed and patted your back.

“No need to feel embarrassed. I am sure, I, Barbatos understand you,” He said.

‘The hell is wrong with him.’ You just shook your head and resumed drinking.

In the corner of your eye, you saw a blonde-haired woman enter the tavern along with a brown-haired woman dressed in purple. You turn your attention to the duo and saw Lisa and Jean standing in front of the door.

You glanced at Diluc who still have his back turned on you, then you peek at Jean and got startled when she's already looking at you.

“Good evening, Y/n, I see you're in the tavern as well,” Jean said as she walked towards your spot. You saw Diluc tense up at her voice in your peripheral vision.

“Oh, Hey! It's rare to see the acting grandmaster here in the tavern, what's the occasion?” You asked.

“Well, Lisa said I should relax and she brought me here. Also...” Jean then glances back at the red-haired man behind the counter and you.

“I heard the engagement news. Congratulations, Y/n and Diluc. If you ever need help with the wedding preparation, I'll be happy to help. After all, you two are my good friends.” You stared at Jean, dumbfounded. You didn't prepare yourself to face her yet after your little drama. You haven't even prepared your script. It went silent for a second. Luckily, Diluc ended it.

“We send you our thanks for supporting us in our... engagement, Jean.” You sneak a look at Diluc before nodding hesitantly at the blonde.

‘Did he just got friendzoned?’

Jean and Lisa left for their table after that. Throughout the night, Diluc never uttered a word at you. You genuinely felt bad for him, even though you two are not in that good terms.

You stayed at the tavern even if it's closing time already. Jean and Lisa already went out, Charles left, Everybody left except you and Diluc. You watched him as he cleans up the tavern.

“Why don't you go home too? Don't you want to rest for the day?” He suddenly asked. His voice filled the silence of the tavern. He looks back at you, waiting for your answer.

“Well, uh— how do I explain this— i'm trying to accompany you after what happened earlier with Jean? You can say i'm trying to comfort you.” He furrowed his eyebrows at you before continuing what he's doing.

“You don't have to do that. Comfort is not part of our agreements.”

“And if you are waiting for me to send you back home, then let's go, it's late already, your parents might be waiting for you already.” He grabbed his coat and put it on.

“Hey! I'm trying to nice here you know! Can't you just let me be here until you finish? Besides, those Lawrence will just scold me anyway.” You muttered the last part before frowning at him and crossing your arms.

Diluc can only sigh and resumes cleaning the counter. While you sit back and glance at him from time to time.

It has already has been months since the news of your engagement spreads out. Things really changed from there onwards, like how your elders at the clan keeps telling you to get married with Diluc as soon as possible. People using you to get the favor of the young master. Some people became more salty to you after they knew you were marrying the richest man in mondstadt. Lastly, your relationship with Diluc also changed.

For the past few months, you can say that your treatment towards each other got better, and he also got used to your shenanigans. Sometimes, when it's just you and him, you can make him chuckle at your silliness. You can also make him stifle a laugh. What an improvement, right?

But of course, this are not the only things that changed between you and him. For instance, Diluc started longing for your existence at the tavern whenever you are not there and you didn't tell him where you are going. His concern rises to the point that he had to shift with Charles to visit the Lawrence Clan residence to ask if you are there. And if you aren't there, he will frown and leave to ask people if they have seen you. Once he have seen you though, he will just simply remind you to not stay late at night because monsters might attack you, then leaves with a pounding heart he couldn't understand.

How ironic, isn't it? He spent hours looking for you and once he have found you, he tells you a few words before leaving.

When Elzer, the only one who knew about this agreement between you two, pointed out that Diluc started changing. The wine tycoon will just shake his head and deny it. But when Elzer asked him if he likes you, Diluc will have his eyes blown before coughing and moving on to another topic.

Even after all these past few months, he still considers you as a confidant.

It only changed when that one night at the tavern happened. It was the usual day for you there, not until you and Kaeya had a bet about who can drink more, the loser will have to obey the winner for a week. Even though you know Kaeya can hold his drink impressively, you still accepted the challenge.

Long story short, you lost to him. Kaeya, ofcourse was ecstatic to win. While you, being completely drunk started throwing tantrums at the man. Diluc only watched you closely incase something happens.

Also, Jean and Lisa is in the tavern. You, being you whenever alcohol takes over you, sat closely beside the acting grandmaster and out of nowhere started flirting with her. You would drop pick up lines here and there and Jean can only smile sheepishly at you while feeling an intense stare at the two of you. She doesn't know who is it but the people around the table surely knows the gaze is from a certain bartender who wipes the counter fiercely while having eyes on you.

Diluc is not jealous at all, really, he said that himself.

He can not seem to fathom the burning feeling inside his heart when he watched you flirting with Jean. You would kiss her cheeks that turned rose blush from your sudden affection. Telling her that she's attractive. She tried to stop you but let's be honest, who could stop you? No one. That is unless a certain red-haired man with a pyro vision joins the scene, which will happen soon enough if you continue acting like this.

‘I know I shouldn't be jealous.’ Diluc then again sneaks a glance at you. He can't explain this uneasy feeling. He doesn't know why he feels this thing called jealousy at all. He tried to brush it off by focusing on the patrons.

Hell, he doesn't even know who is he jealous over. Is it you who can easily be touchy and affectionate to Jean? Or is he jealous of Jean because you are touchy and affectionate to her and not to him?

He doesn't know, he said. But there's a vast feeling inside him that he is jealous because you are flirting with the girl he used to like, and he thinks it's funny and pathetic to feel jealousy at this fake relationship.

Donna came into the tavern and ordered a drink and sat at the front counter while gazing at him, lovestruck. He served her to distract himself from thinking about you.

The girl seated in front of him started a conversation. He really don't want to talk to her, but he thought, maybe trying to talk to her might erase this jealousy feeling.

Kaeya, who is watching the scene, smirked and chugs his drink. “Ah, look at that, is master Diluc talking to that florist girl?”

His words awakened you from bothering Jean who keeps sending Lisa a blink of help. You looked over the counter and saw your fiancee conversing at that damned Donna girl you've been annoyed with for a long time.

Your face immediately turned sour at the sight. This caused you to sober up a little bit and think straight. You swallowed and you grab your drink with a pout.

“Oh? Are you jealous? What are you doing here? Aren't you gonna take what's yours?” Kaeya whispered at you.

‘He's not even mine in the first place,’ You sighed.

“I know I shouldn't be jealous.” Your statement caught the blue-haired man's interest. He sends you and Diluc a keen look before smiling at himself.

‘Interesting.’ He thought.

It was already late at night when Diluc walks you back to your residence. Tonight seems to be different from the other nights when he would send you back home. No one uttered a word as silence embraced you two. Jealousy being the most cause of it.

“Hey, Diluc.” The call of your voice made him glance at you. Waiting patiently at your next words.

“I'm jealous earlier.” You said. This caused him to turn his full attention to you. He was completely confused.

“Jealous of what? I should be the one saying that.” Before even he could process it, unsaid words already came out of his mouth.

“What? You're Jealous?” Your surprised reaction made him look away and cover his lips.

“I guess there's no point of deny it then.” His ears and face immediately turned hot and red while he tries to not lose his composure infront of you.

It was dead silent after that. Not even you, who is a chatterbox to him let out a single word. You are too shocked to speak.

‘Diluc Ragnvindr? Jealous? What?’ Your heart rammed as your cheeks heated up at the possibility of what-ifs. Maybe it's the alcohol taking over you but you felt a sudden braveness to voice out the thought that keeps bugging you for the past few days.

“Can I say something?” You asked as you held the hem of your clothes tightly.

“What is it?”

“I like you.”

Haytham Kenway x Reader

You an Haytham have been in the Templar Order for as long as you both can remember, both you and him remember being young, around 10 or 11 and being broken into the Order. You remember Haytham being broken into this. His father had been killed in the Kenway mansion, and yours were killed in a hurricane. You basically and literally grew up together at a young age. You two had a lot in common, no parents, older siblings, were the troublemakers in the family. And when the time came to kill the old Templar grandmaster. You held him down while Haytham killed him. Both of your minds were two halves of a whole, whatever you thought, he did too.

     It broke your heart when you found out he had a lover and a child a few years back and he didn't tell you until he had Ratonhnhaké:ton come into the Order's base. You didn't talk to him for about a month, he had known when you got upset because he felt your heartbreak for some reason. He got angry after a while of you ignoring him and cornered you and demanded you tell him what he did to make you upset. You lied at first and he knew you were lying. You told another lie but this one was more convincing and he believed you.

     You knew he loved the mohawk woman so you didn't interfere. You had lived with a broken heart for years until Ratonhnhaké:ton didn't come in for a while and Haytham no longer talked about Ziio. You had wondered what happened but you didn't get told anything. You were never to question, you got your orders and never questioned.

Back to the present, you and Haytham were sent on a mission to get rid of (E/N). You and him were standing above the church scouting out where your targets of information were. Haytham found them and pointed them out and turned and jumped off the building. Both of you parted ways to gather information. You stayed on top of the church for god knows how long. You were thinking about how to approach the targets, the first is a lumberjack has a history of being violent so you should be cautious. The second is a tavernwoman, she is known to carry weapons.

You think this over and decide you should go see the lumberjack first, you walk to the outskirts of Boston and start looking, now you don't have Eagle Vision like Haytham but you have a different 6th sense. It guides you to your goals like a little small blue trail on the ground. You follow the trail up to a brick house a little ways away from Boston. You walk up to the front door and knock. There's no sound or movement. You knock again. No answer. "Hello?" You ask. Still no answer. "I'm coming in!" You shout as you try to open the door, surprisingly it's open, the moment you open the door, the Lumberjack lunges at you with an axe over his head ready to attack.

     You jump back and immediately go in defence mode. He swung at you again and you immediately dived into a roll behind him and kicked the back of his knee. He yelped in pain and quickly turned around to face you. "I just want some information!" You said quickly.

"I ain't givin' any!" He shouted as he swung at you again, you rolled your head to the side quickly enough, as the ace was lodged in the wood right where your head was a split second ago.

     You kicked his chin as hard as you could, you heard a small crack. He let go of his axe and went to hold his chin, blood dribbled down to his chin, You must've broken a tooth or two. You immediately rolled up and dusted yourself off before you put your arms behind your back, mimicking Haytham to hopefully seem more intimidating.

     "Are you ready to talk yet?" You asked in a pompous voice, trying to mimic Haytham again. The Lumberjack spit at your shoes, "I will take that as a no" You sighed before walking up to him and grabbing the scruff of his shirt and hauled him up and shoved him into the wall. "What about now?" You ask again. He curses at you, you sigh. "I wish it didn't have to come to this" You say before grabbing his hair and bashing his head into the wall a few times. You then haul him back up again and let your hidden blade slide out of the bracer and put the cold metal against his neck. "How about you tell me what you know before your usefulness thins and I get rid of you permanently." You say threateningly.

     "Okay, okay, fine, only because you have a strong kick." He sighed as he spat out blood. "I know (he/she/they) are a redcoat, (he/she/they) are/is higher up the laddr' you need access to the barracks" He coughed. You smiled in satisfactory and pulled out a handkerchief and hand it to him. You retract your blade and dust off your clothes.

     "Now that wasn't so hard now was it?" You say with a sickly sweet smile. "Now for the tavernwoman" You mumble as you walk out. Little did you know, the Lumberjack heard you. Once you left he immediately left and took his horse to the tavern to get there before you.

     You gently opened the door and immediately froze. There was a double-barrel shotgun put to your forehead. You sighed and put your hands up behind your head. The Lumberjack, who is now all bandaged up, pushed you in the tavern, you stumbled but he held you up with an iron grip. "Now I heard of what you did to my friend 'ere" She hissed. "The jaw shot was a low move, now I know what you're here for, just letting you know now, you ain't getting what you're looking for." She said sternly.

     "I am very persuasive" You said calmly. "How does gold sound?" You asked.

     "I don't need gold that bad, try again." She huffed as she hit you in the top of the head with the butt of the shotgun. You gripped the top of your head as you fell to the floor.

     "How about I settle your gambling debts?" You ask again. "How about I get you your children back? T-They were kidnapped right?" You asked. She faltered, you struck a nerve. "Me and my associates can get them back! Give me a few hours!" you pleaded as you sat up and held your hands in front of you in surrender.

     "Three hours. You have three hours before we hunt you down and kill you." She said as she leaned on a table weakly. The Lumberjack walked over and pulled you up.

     "Bring our children home ma'am, please, we will give you all the information you want to know" He said. It clicked in your head. They were a family, they were husband and wife. You nodded and ran out. You thought deeply of who and what you wanted to find, soon enough a small blue trail appeared before you.

     You grabbed a horse and followed it. You followed it out of Boston, you followed it for over half an hour outside of Boston, it led you to a new-looking shack. You opened got off your horse and walked over to it and knocked you fixed your posture and put your hands behind your back, mimicking Haytham yet again. You see why he does this, it's fun!

     The door was opened a few seconds later to reveal a teenage boy. You spoke. "Good day sir, I am (Y/N) (L/N) from Boston I am here to talk about two-" You were cut off by a door to the face. You looked confused. You knocked on the door again, no answer. Again, no answer. You sighed and walked around the house and found cellar doors. You opened them and walked in, you looked around and found very mundane things, crates, sacks of potatoes, flour.

     You walked up the stairs and ended up into a kitchen you looked around and saw the teenage boy talking to two little kids, one boy, one girl. "Excuse me? You closed the door on me earlier, that wasn't very respectful." You said with a small head tilt.

     "Get out!" The teenager yelled as he grabbed a cleaver and threw it at you. You stumbled out of the way. "I'm not giving them up! They are all I have left!" The teen shouted.

     "What do you mean? Are they your siblings?" You ask. "What about your mother and father?" You ask again.

     "They don't care about me! They gave me up to some order to train me for something!" He shouted. You froze.

     "What was that order called?" You asked "Maybe I can make sure you don't go back there!" You said, inching closer.

     "I-I don't know, they said one phrase" He explained. You thought carefully for your next question. You asked what they said and he started to try and remember what they said while you inched closer. "I think they said 'Nothing is True', I don't remember" He said looking back at you.

     "Trust me, I am not with them, I won't take you back to them, I'm with the Templars. We go against the Assassins, we will make sure you are safe. But please, we need to take you back to your parents." You pleaded. He looked angry.

     "No! I won't go back! My parents brought me to the Assassins because they didn't have the things to train me at home!" It clicked yet again. His parents were assassins. This could've been a trap! You were late to realize this because the door opened to reveal the Lumberjack and Tavernwoman. You look back at the children and they were smiling. You tense

     "Shite." You mumble. "Look, I'm not going to harm anyone here if you let me leave, just let me walk out and no one will get hurt." You say, holding your arms in the air at your sides in surrender.

     "You aren't going anywhere." The Lumberjack said. "Achilles will want to talk to you" He said grumpily.

     "I am not going to tell any of you anything! I would rather die!" You shout before thinking. You pause. "W-Wait I didn't mean it like that." You stuttered before the Tavernwoman walked over and hit you over the head with the butt of her shotgun. You blacked out.

     You wake up with bruises and blood littering your body. You look around and go to speak to see if anyone can hear you. You couldn't speak. It hurt your throat. You quickly came to the conclusion that you had been screaming. You put the pieces together and realize what went on. You sigh and go to sit up but you are in pain.

     You didn't know how long you had been laying there. Hopefully Haytham was alright, you weren't one to wish for a knight in shining armour but at the moment, you are right now. You are in so much pain, you are dehydrated from crying. You are just plain and simply tired.

     You wished for Haytham to find you. Or even Shay, maybe Charles (Lee). God you wouldn't complain if Thomas (Hickey) found you. You just wanted out.

     You were about to fall back into the sweet world of unconsciousness when banging on the front door startled you. You tried to get up but yet again were unable to. Your muscles had tensed up from lack of use. You sighed and tried again and would've cried out in pain, but you still couldn't use your voice. You kept trying to call out and only got out small hushed words.

     You soon enough gave up and almost let the darkness consume your vision but multiple gunshots made you aware of what had gone on. You jolted when the door to the cellar opened and two sets of footsteps had followed. "Oh (Y/N), what have you gotten yourself into?" A very pompous voice said. Haytham.

     You felt two arms pick you up gently. You opened your eyes and was met with a navy blue suit. You knew it was Haytham, as soon as you heard the footsteps you knew it was him. You mumbled out his name in relief with a sigh. You barely shifted and leaned against him.

     "I knew I should have sent Charles with you" He sighed. "Just hang in there and we will get you help." You mumbled an 'mhm' and just relaxed. You felt safe. Haytham kissed your forehead. You opened your eyes and looked at him and smiled. He smiled back and walked out of the shack and over to his and everyone else's horses(yours not included). John (Pitcairn) was holding the reigns to your horse. Haytham handed you to Charles before getting up on his horse. Charles handed you back to Haytham. You got comfortable again as they rode back to Boston.

"Um, (Y/N), Grandmaster?" Hickey asked.

"Yes Thomas?" Haytham asked as you shifted to look at him.

"So we've all been talking.." He started. "Have both of you ever thought of courting?" Haytham looked confused and was about to say something but Thomas cut him off. " 'ear me out, Have both of you not seen the way you look at each other? And (Y/N), 'ave you not realized that 'aytham came to find you, the moment you didn't show up to where you were supposed to be meetn'? he lost it and started searchin'." Thomas explained. Haytham's cheeks dusted pink in embarrassment. Your cheeks went red. "And Haytham, have you not realized (Y/N) has been pining over you for years since we've all been togethr' guaranteed even longr'" Thomas said.

Your face was red, redder than before. "Continue on men, we shall catch up soon enough." Haytham said as the guys snickered and continued on on horse. Once they were out of earshot. Haytham looked down at your red face. "Is this true (Y/N)?" he asked.

You didn't answer, nor look at him. He sighed and made you look at him. His strikingly blueish silver eyes looked into your gentle (E/C) ones. You noticed his face get closer and closer to yours.

You felt his rough chapped lips on your swollen ones. He kissed you gently and passionately. You kissed back and barely moved your arms to gently grip the front of his one-shoulder cape.

He pulled away and chuckled. "Come on, love." He said as he put some pressure on the horse's side and continued on the way to Boston. Both of you eventually caught up with the other Templars and they started to laugh and clap at seeing you cling to Haytham.

"Cough it up Charles." Thomas chuckled as Charles sighed and pulls out a coin purse and handed it to Thomas. You let out a weak chuckle and stay clung onto Haytham as you all ride back to Boston. This is definitely what a little wishing can do.

~Backstory~

Zeroun was born on an unknown planet his mother is Jedi Grandmaster Satele Shan and his father is former Havoc Squad leader Jace Malcom, he also has a younger twin brother Theron.

Satele left them with her old Jedi Master to raise them, but once Zeroun was shown to be strong in the Force, Satele brought him back to the Jedi Temple to become a Jedi. He trained with Kailani and Raziela as younglings (They are well known as the troublemakers) and a little bit as Padawans. Raziela, Zeroun, and Kailani did an oath to become blood siblings.

One of his instructors Vishnu and often teaches Younglings different ways of the force. Once Zeroun turned 15 he become Master Syo’s padawan.

Description: Born and raised in Hala, Genis was expected by all of the Kree to be the greatest as his family was known to play a big role in Kree history and society since they were born from the first of them named Hala aka the first accuser. He lived a relatively normal life until it was changed when he was diagnosed with a Kree disease called the blackened much to his family’s shock. His mother and Kree Spy, Mar-Vell, discovered that tesseract radiation can starve off the disease as Genis came back to earth every four years using the pod used to house Steve Rogers. There Genis fell in love with Earth as he felt like he can be himself and learned many things there and it seemed the family was gonna have a happily ever after. Genis soon became friends with an unnamed blonde girl in a carnival after he begged his mom to go when the two rode on bumper cars and warned her to slow down. He did hear a name from her father calling her Carol.

He also became friends with Isaiah Bradley too who found him a bit odd but became close companions alongside his mom. Genis’s happy life on Earth ended when a Black Widow found out about his family’s identity and intercepted the location of their experimentation sight with his older sister coming for the first time. Said Black Widow set off a bomb with a young Genis absorbing the energy and survived but his life changed as undercover Russian operatives began to breach the place resulting in him losing full control of his powers. Horrified at what he’s done-Genis flew uncontrollably out of Earth’s atmosphere and crashed in Seknarf Nine where he met the reclusive and renowned Lady Hellbender who has retired from her life of hunting dangerous beasts. Hellbender took Genis under her wing and trained him how to use his powers but kept saying that he wasn’t ready at all much to his annoyance and chagrin at the same time.

Hellbender’s castle came under attack by a cartel that was after her for her mistakes as she told the young Genis-Vell to fly away for her wasn’t ready yet at all. Genis did as he was told and flew off while Hellbender fought off her assailants then landed on Contraxia and ran into Yondu Udonta. Yondu took Genis under his wing and introduced him to Peter Quill as the two became best friends and troublemakers at the same time. But despite being a Ravager, he still helped people which annoyed Yondu and made marvelous spectacles with his powers thus earning him the name “Captain Marvel” which he embraced with pride. Genis soon discovered about Peter’s induction into the Ravagers and reported it to Starak Ogord resulting in Yondu’s exile from the Ravagers. Yondu lambasted Genis for his actions resulting in him being thrown out of Clan Udonta. Genis wandered the galaxy as a lone hero and learned various worlds and ran into Carol who was Vers during a battle against Skrulls and saved her with his powers having an effect on her.

Genis soon became romantically involved with Valkyrie when he was staying in Sakaar and then moved in with her in the process thinking of perhaps having a normal life….until he found out about her line of work which was capturing dissenters for the Grandmaster resulting in both a messy breakup and Genis attempting to kill the Grandmaster only for Valkyrie to use a ship that rammed him up into the devil’s anus leaving him in space. He later met Lady Sif who he also became romantically involved soon enough repeating the same story with Valk with Genis wanting to move to Asgard much to her family’s disdain since he was a Ravager. But the two drifted apart due to their line of work, Sif was a warrior loyal to a country and Genis was a wandering hero. He wandered the galaxy once more and ran into Carol who introduced herself as Vers as they haven’t properly met and with nowhere else to go, joined the Kree Starforce in the same team as Carol. The two became romantically involved after multiple missions together but he felt like something was wrong with his life with her and Kree life in general, he soon discovered the truth after a conversation between Yon-Rogg and Minn-Erva much to his horror and sought to tell Carol…only to disappear without a trace.

After an unknown amount of time, Genis found himself in a mental institution where the doctor claimed that his name isn’t Genis-Vell but really Walter Lawson and that he’s here recovering from a mental breakdown after his killing his wife Carol for killing his kids. He said that Walter has some kind of disorder that makes believe that they’re superheroes or otherworldly beings to cope with loss and started a session with him and another patient, Wanda Maximoff.

Personality: Genis is known to be a loving and carefree Kree who cared about others almost all the time much for Yondu and Peter Quill’s annoyance yet he showed a reckless side to himself because of his powers which he uses at a limited time as he sees them as a blessing and a curse because of what happened. Genis is defined also by his family code and that code is that the galaxy should always be protected no matter what race, he despised the Kree-Skrull War and disobeyed orders. He also didn’t like being revered as a god which disturbs him to no end while also being wise as well due to his past experiences. Another aspect of him is that he’s known to be extremely sassy and sarcastic, often teasing other heroes like Namor who he calls Mr. Nimbus and is extremely knowledgeable of other planets as he keeps a journal.

The Kree is also very wise as well using knowledge to avoid or resolve conflicts. He used the pass code the Skrull spies use to trick them into thinking he’s one of them and tries his best to appeal to Namor at times. He’s known to be sort of the “cool dad” of the New Avengers getting along with mostly all of them albeit there’s a bit of a fracture between him and Yelena. The most notable relationship he has is with Carol Danvers as the two knew each other since they were children, it is implied that it’s romantic in nature as well which Kamala teases her for it. Though there is a bit of a violent side of Genis, especially when he nearly curb stomped Peter Quill in self defense. Genis in his Ravager years was a far different person which compared him to an honorable thief and a rogue with a heart of gold yet was cocky and arrogant preferring to solve his problems using his powers which annoyed Yondu.

But Genis always followed the Ravager code hence why he reported Yondu to Starak and hasn’t regretted a thing until Yondu’s death. Genis’s relationship with Yondu and Peter Quill was complicated as he saw Yondu as a father knowing he couldn’t live a normal life anymore back at Hala but it all changed when he learned from Peter Quill about how he was taken. He also considered Peter Quill his best friend and closest thing to a brother as well until his betrayal but showed no remorse for telling Starak cause it was the right thing to do and told him that to find his own path and live like a man instead being a thief which those words stuck to Quill years later. Afterwards Genis became a wandering hero that helped others for free but felt lost and alone until he met Valkyrie who became his first girlfriend as the two fell in love until he found out what she’s been doing leading to a deadly fight where he was shot out into the Devil’s Anus and fell in love with Sif who he dated for years but their paths were different resulting in a break up as he dedicated himself to protecting everyone while Sif was dedicated to protecting Asgard. The theme of Genis and his tragedy is that he sacrifices everything for the greater good, he sacrificed his friendship with Peter Quill, his relationships with Sif and Valkyrie and his father-son bond with Yondu and nearly his own life as well resulting in those years hardening and humbling him into a better person. This caused him to join the Starforce as he had nothing to lose until he realized that he has something to fight.

Hello there! 4, 13, and 35 for the OC asks? Gotta return the love :)

Got this and proceeded to get completely swamped with work, but now getting back to it! Thanks for the love! This made me dig back through my fics and got me reminiscing about some of my old OCs.

4. A character you rarely talk about?

Well I don't really talk much about my OCs in general, so probably all of them lol. I tend to develop them for a given fic but not come back to them later. I do think of them fondly, though (some more than others).

13. Do you have any troublemaker OCs?

How much trouble are we talking about here? Because some of my OCs are very bad people, lol. Taking this in a more lighthearted way, I don't think I have a lot of trickster-type OCs, tbh. But I do have some characters who would definitely be considered troublemakers because they act in ways that go against the social mores of the time. The ones that come to mind are my chain-smoking art historian woman-in-a-man's-world FBI agent, Robin McHenry from That's What Other People Do, and the young chess grandmaster who (thankfully) gets a little meddlesome in other people's business, Nikolai Zaytsev from Love is a Losing Game.

So anyway the whole failed-to-get-important-documents-from-Grandmaster scheme like failed and Zhi Hua was mad as hell Xiao Ming fucking kissed him.

But they still need to find who the impostor is. Buuuuuttttt they still need to go attend proper lesson.

So anyway first lesson is Maths. Cher talk some shit about integers and rational and irrational numbers and shit.

Also first lesson actually meeting cher cos he keep taking mc last few weeks.

So his name is Mr. Fatima. And yes that's a girl name but he say his parents thought he would be a girl but then they got him so they decided to just name him Fatima anyway.

So anyway he is really cool bro. He can see overlapping planes of existence that overlap our own man, and all the creatures in it. Like cool sia.

But his Affinity very weird, like he has to have frostbite or be freezing to death as his Affinity bro.

So anyway during Maths lesson, since Xiao Ming and gang obviously weren't paying attention again, they decided to devise a method to test who was crewmate and can trust.

So they would get Xiao Ming to enter their dreams and then just torture them until they say it.

But then of course they would just be able to not say anything since they know it's just a dream anyway since they know Xiao Ming's powers but whatever.

So that wouldn't work. So they cannot know who is sus.

But anyway now they neede to get some documents and stuff to know who was the impostor.

So instead of trying to sneak into the office, Xiao An pulled a big brainer move and told Xiao Ming to get into trouble so that they have a free get-into-jail-card. Yeah.

So anyway Xiao Ming insulted the cher and got the punishment and can go into office now.

So when it was time for detention he sneaked around the office- and actually managed to get the documents this time.

It read: "GWS official's letter:

Biography

Loki Laufeyson was the biological son of Laufey, King of the Frost Giants, who was abandoned and left to die shortly after his birth. Found by Odin, Loki was taken to Asgard and raised by him and Frigga as an Asgardian prince, along with Thor, becoming the Asgardian God of Mischief. When Thor was to be crowned King, Loki had sabotaged the coronation by letting the Frost Giants attack Asgard, thus leading Thor to seek vengeance on Jotunheim, which resulted in Thor's banishment to Earth and Loki finding out the truth about his heritage. Frigga gave Loki the throne when Odin had fallen into the Odinsleep; however, when the Warriors Three and Sif attempted to return Thor home, Loki was forced to try to stop them. Regardless, Thor returned from his exile on Earth and ended Loki's reign, thwarting his attempt to declare war on the Nine Realms with Jotunheim's destruction. With Odin disapproving of his actions, Loki allowed himself to fall through the deep abyss of space, entering a wormhole created by the sudden termination of the Bifrost Bridge.

Transported by the wormhole to Sanctuary, Loki encountered The Other who offered to serve under Thanos' command and gave him the Scepter. Loki was given command over the Chitauri army in order to conquer Earth, under the provision that Loki acquires the Tesseract for Thanos. Once he came to Earth, Loki managed to take possession of the Tesseract and used its power to open a wormhole above New York City and caused the Chitauri Invasion, but all of Loki's schemes were ultimately defeated by the Avengers. Thor returned him to Asgard as his prisoner, where Odin condemned him to spend the rest of his life in the Asgardian Dungeons as punishment for his crimes.

However, when Frigga was killed during the Sacking of Asgard, Loki was freed by Thor in order to defeat the Dark Elves led by Malekith who desired to use the power of the Aether to transform the universe into eternal darkness. During the fight against the Dark Elves in Svartalfheim, Loki faked his death, and, unbeknownst to everyone in the Kingdom, returned to Asgard and successfully removed Odin from the throne, taking his place as King where he remained for several years. During his reign, Loki continued to rule Asgard by sending Sif on missions to Earth to investigate the attacks of Lorelei and Vin-Tak.

Eventually, the return of Thor forced Loki to reveal his deception as the pair journeyed together to find Odin, arriving just in time to witness Odin's death. The loss of Odin allowed Hela, Odin's firstborn, to return from banishment and wage war against the Nine Realms. Loki found himself stranded at Sakaar along with Thor where Loki allied himself with the Grandmaster while Thor was forced to battle against Hulk. Despite trying to manipulate his way to freedom, Loki chose to side with Thor and the Revengers in a final battle against Hela, in which Loki summoned Surtur, who defeated Hela by causing Ragnarök and destroying all of Asgard.

During his final moments on Asgard, Loki took the Tesseract from Odin's Vault and in the wake of the Destruction of Asgard, chose to stay by his brother's side and support his ascension onto the throne. Consequences of his deal with Thanos would soon come back to haunt Loki, however, as the Mad Titan and his Black Order intercepted the Asgardians as they were making their way towards Earth. In the chaos that followed, Loki attempted to kill Thanos but ultimately failed. When Loki taunted Thanos by telling him that he would never be a god, the Mad Titan snapped his neck, finally killing the God of Mischief.

Personality

Loki was an ever-scheming individual; the God of Mischief, he meddled in people's lives and even led them to their inevitable deaths as it made him feel powerful, and often used superior ploys or ulterior designs upon his enemies, such as Thor and the Avengers. Compared to his boisterous older brother, he constantly seemed to be relaxed, peaceful and quiet, but in truth had the mind of a cold, calculating sociopath and was formulating machinations that would achieve his power and respect that he truly believed he deserves at all times. Other than that, Loki supposedly cared for Thor, consoling him after his coronation was ruined but was stated to be envious of him his entire life, although no one knew the extent of such envy until it was too late. He had a deep hatred of Odin and Thor due to supposedly being the least favored son and rejected by Thor himself all the time. Loki would do anything to mortify, defeat or hurt Thor, even enslaving the world he cared for and supposedly taking his own life.

Part of his bitterness stemmed from the fact that he was a Frost Giant and was intended as a political tool to bring peace between Asgardians and Frost Giants. As such, Loki felt alienated and guilty since he was a member of a race Asgardians were taught to fear and hate, and the people he thought were his family fibbed to him about it all his life. Growing up, Loki believed he was an actual prince of Asgard and so genuinely thought he could be king. Loki competed with Thor for Odin's favor, yet once his real parentage was revealed, Loki felt betrayed as he felt a Frost Giant as king was never a feasible possibility. And what's more, Loki felt that he was viewed as nothing more than a trophy and tool instead of an actual son by Odin despite all evidence to the contrary.

However, deep down, Loki loved his family to some degree. Though his hatred for his brother and father seemed to be unending, he did not share these feelings for his mother Frigga. Upon learning she was killed, Loki acted with madness and eliminated everything within his cell. When he got confronted by Thor in his imprisonment, he asked genuinely if she suffered as she died and was ready to work with his much-hated brother to kill Malekith. Part of this stemmed from his regret over directing Kurse to Frigga and Jane Foster and upon Svartalfheim he displayed tremendous and uncharacteristic selflessness such as risking his own life to save Foster and Thor while dying in the process. Thor even stated that Loki indeed died with honor but even this was a ruse as he has usurped the throne of Asgard and captured Odin. Despite his hatred and contempt, Loki would have expressed the desire to be Thor's equal and recognized by Odin as the worthy son. He seemed to care about the two of them to an extent, particularly Odin, calling the guards and looking on in concern when Odin collapsed on the ground, and while he was hanging onto Thor near the Bifrost, he stated that he wanted to destroy Jotunheim for him. Perhaps, he loved his family deep down as he appeared hesitant to eject Thor out of the Helicarrier, and saved Odin from being murdered by Laufey as he later stated that his death was not his goal, and did not actually kill Odin, but rather imprisoned him on Earth.

But the love he once showed and his more human emotions appeared to be significantly dulled by the time he arrived on Earth, along with the decades of built-up resentment which overshadowed any sliver of humanity Loki might retain. Despite this, however, Loki's time as king of Asgard appeared to have reduced his rivalry with and hatred for Thor and resentment for Odin, as he showed sadness and remorse for Odin's death and even showed visible care for Thor on Sakaar, asking him not to return to Asgard out of possible concern of his adopted brother dying against Hela. He was evidently angry and distraught when Thor ignored his offers to abandon Asgard and join the Grandmaster, saying emotionally that he always had to do it alone. He was also affected when Thor suggested he remain on Sakaar due to his power-hungry nature and seemed saddened when Thor said that their paths had diverged long ago. Ultimately, Loki's newfound love for his brother swayed him to help Thor evacuate the Asgardians, risk his life by personally reviving Surtur, and support Thor's coronation.

He had suppressed his desires for most of his life due to constantly living within Thor's shadow. As such he was capable of presenting himself as timid and meek when in reality he was in possession of supreme megalomaniacal ambitions which he believed he was entitled to more than anyone else, especially Thor whom he viewed as an incompetent fool who would make a terrible King in comparison to himself. As The Other stated, his desires were virtually reminiscent to that of a childish need to always be best; this also made his hatred of Thor an entirely overgrown and impractical sibling rivalry and the entirety of his actions could be intervened as purely attention-seeking, going to horrifying lengths such as the subjugation or destruction of a species, all to impress his father. Indeed, Loki's megalomaniacal desires were foiled by his true objective to stand superior over Thor and crush him completely, proving to Thor that he was his equal and his better, which was all he ever wanted.

As a master of deceit and trickery, Loki utilized his duplicitous nature within combat. Loki was also not above underhanded tactics, such as when Thor offered a hand of peace, Loki deceptively stabbed him in his side. Loki would create feints and appear like running away or surrendering if a fight turned to his disadvantage. For example, when he was at the mercy of Thor on top of the Bifrost Bridge, Loki pathetically begged for his life, yet revealed the act to be just another one of his illusion manipulations and a feint to ambush his brother. However, Loki had a flaw of being arrogant, narcissistic and was in possession of extensive delusions of self-entitlement. This led him into trouble at times as he mocked Hulk within Avengers Tower, calling him a "dull creature" which caused him to be thrashed around like a plaything by the green monster. Later, the same arrogance allowed Doctor Strange sufficient time to teleport Loki away from the New York Sanctum. This overconfidence over his deceptive talents ultimately ended up claiming his life as attempted to smooth talk Thanos into lowering his guard enough to be slain only for the Titan to easily anticipate the attack and inevitable betrayal, having always been the far better deceiver and manipulator, and kill Loki in retaliation.

He had an unfounded superiority over and deep hatred for humans, and this enforced his thinking that he was entitled to rule them; simply because he could, due to mankind's history of following people with power, Loki simply believed that they would view him as a benevolent dictator instead. Added to this, Loki firmly believed that freedom was life's great lie and that no-one was truly free and everyone was oppressed in some way. He went as far to say that humans were created only to be subjugated by superior men and that they craved to have a ruler, claiming that they would be lost and their lives effectively pointless without one to give them their identity. He mocked Thor for his compassion towards humanity and him enslaving Earth would be nothing less than a petty, spiteful attack towards his older brother.

For many years, Loki had no respect for his real heritage and would often contradict himself within this area to whatever situation would require it better. After learning that Laufey was in actuality his biological father, he did not even mention this to him on Jotunheim and later murdered him when he attempted to kill Odin. He called the Frost Giants a "race of monsters" despite already knowing that he was a member of the race himself before unleashing the full power of the Bifrost upon their planet. Effectively ending the war which Thor started and having saved Odin's life, he believed would be paraded as a hero as he apparently could not see the logic that ending an entire race would only make Odin disgust him further. Since learning that he was the son of Laufey, Loki stated that Thor was not his brother at all, ignoring the years that they grew up together entirely and threw this in his face twice. When hanging over the Bifrost, though, he referred to him as "brother", despite having previously disowned him only a few minutes earlier, though this was soon revealed to be an illusion, and another trick to use against Thor. Likewise, after being transported to Earth by the Tesseract he claimed himself as "Loki of Asgard" but on Svartalfheim before the Dark Elves, proclaimed himself "Loki of Jotunheim".

The Battle of New York traumatized Loki, since his defeats at the hands of Hulk left him terrified about the creature, to the extent of trying to leave Sakaar upon discovering that Hulk was the champion of their Contest of Champions. Despite this, Loki showed to be capable of using him, as when he, Thor and Valkyrie plotted how to get Thor out of Sakaar, Loki suggested to use Hulk. When the Statesman came under attack by Thanos, however, the two had formed enough of a partnership to improvise a coordinated attack on the Mad Titan. Indeed, Bruce Banner would later insist on referring to the New York invasion as Thanos' doing instead of Loki's, emphasizing how the two had come to terms.

Shortly after Odin died and Thor learned the truth about Hela and how Asgard really rose to power, Loki genuinely felt sympathetic towards Thor as he had just found out that everything he knew was false, much like how Loki himself did after finding out he was a Frost Giant. After the destruction of Asgard, Loki and Thor seem to have fully reconciled. However, Loki still kept some of his mischiefs as he stole the Tesseract from Odin's Vault before Asgard's destruction. Ultimately, though, seeing Thanos on the brink of killing Thor, Loki gave up the Tesseract, despite the fact that it allowed the Titan to be one step closer to conquering the universe, showing his love for his brother had now far surpassed any desire for power that Loki had, but another reason Loki did so, was an attempt to assassinate Thanos. Unfortunately for Loki, Thanos easily anticipated this and killed him.

An often remarked flaw of Loki's was that he not only lacked conviction but often failed to appreciate the long term consequences his actions might have as stated by Phil Coulson and Iron Man shortly before the Battle of New York. This was seen again following his usurping of Odin's throne as his decadent leadership caused most of the Nine Realms to fall into chaos and unintentionally precipitated Hela's release. This period of total power had also given him a sense of complacency to the point where most everyone he came across had come to anticipate all of his potential tricks and betrayals. Indeed, Thor openly mocking this attitude was a deciding factor in Loki's decision to reform his ways and genuinely aid his people.

In the final moments of his life, Loki displayed that he truly came to accept both his Asgardian heritage and his Frost Giant parentage, proudly identifying himself as "Odinson" and the "rightful king of Jotunheim". Though having lived in fear of Thanos since their first meeting, Loki selflessly attempted to slay the Titan in spite of his power and entourage, showing he had truly redeemed himself. When Thanos effortlessly parried the attack and began choking Loki to death, Loki not only accepted his fate but remained openly defiant, ridiculing Thanos that he would never achieve true godhood. In the end, Loki died doing what many believed he would never do: display open care for others and reconcile with and accept his lineage.
