things from The Halloween Update that are concerning me more than i already am about Eddie:
his Frankenstein's Monster costume turning his face (and hands. ha, hands, like the hands on a-) half yellow half blue/purple like the clocks & Sally's door. that's fucking me up a little ngl
Eddie tacks "A bit of a moral conundrum-" onto his description of Frankenstein's Monster, who he's costumed as. which seems out of place with the rest of his description. he could've said "bolts" or "white streak in his hair" or another physical trait. nope. Moral Conundrum (one could also describe his costume as "two-faced"...). and the fact that he's dressed specifically as someone who was "brought back from the dead" makes me 👁️👁️. kinda reminds me of a certain set of artworks from Clown's tumblr a while back...
Eddie, despite his whole schtick being "bad memory", was the only one to accurately recognize Sally's costume as pedrolino from the Commedia dell'arte. could be a little 'inside joke', might be something else. i suspect it's something else due to his... ah... Everything.

thinking about how Dick got kicked out of his apartment after titans hunt and his landlord burned all his things
(id under the cut)
this i really a pattern tho, he gets kicked out of places and loses all his possessions:
when he had to leave the circus, in some versions he didn’t get to keep anything
when Bruce kicks Dick out in some versions he has like a small suitcase, in some versions nothing
in the Devin Nightwing run when his apartment is exploded
the example above (in addition titans tower also just blew up)
in the Taylor run his apartment just exploded again
like no wonder this guy doesn't care about worldly possessions he doesn’t get to keep any ever
Landlord: Hey, you -- what the hell do you think you’re doing?
Dick: Excuse me? This is my apartment.
Landlord: Yeah? Says who, buddy?
Dick: But I -- I’ve lived here two years!
Landlord: Well, not anymore you don’t, Mac. You didn’t pay your rent, you weren’t around to get the court summons, so you get evicted, fair n’ square
Dick: But what about all my books? All my private papers?
Landlord: Ya ever hear of the incinerator?
Dick: You burned my papers?
Landlord: Hey, I’m crying in my beer for you buddy. But that’s the way the rent control crumbles!
Dick: But where am i supposed to live?
Landlord: get yourself a cardboard box like the rest of the bums in this city!
Dick (on the phone): Ummm, Hi, Alfred. It’s me, Dick. Listen I really need help. Can I use Bruce’s apartment in Manhattan? Just for the night? Oh? He loaned it to the redhead? Oh geez. I remember her. When you talk to her, her head echoes. No, don’t ask her if she wants to share. I think I see a cardboard box blowing by with my name on it.

on my extrapolating about characters arc so im thinking about. gorgug and riz. do u ever think of them
gorgug who grew up knowing intimately how much he stuck out like a sore thumb. riz who can count all the goblins in elmville on one clawed hand.
riz who hides behind walls and in dark corners because he cannot stand in a crowd and simply blend in; gorgug who wakes up his whole childhood in a room too small. two people who garner attention that they aren't seeking. riz the rogue whose keen eye notices, knows how people will stare if given the opportunity. gorgug who more often than not sits timidly with his headphones on and hands in his hoodie pocket, who hates the stomach flip when someone assumes he must be a barbarian, and hates the fact that he proves them right.
riz and gorgug who are different in their upbringings, but share the same quiet sense of unbelonging, in green skin and craned necks and cruel cruel assumptions

Irondad fic ideas #120
Fic where Tony survives the snap but loses his arm. It takes him a long time to recover, and Peter still has to go through everything with Beck and Strange. The reason Stark Industries isn't around to help him much is because Pepper and Morgan are completely off the grid with Tony, helping him recover in Wakanda (Peter would still be there too, but he had school and May -- Happy went with to keep him safe).
Now, May is dead, everyone's memories are gone, and Peter is completely alone. Or so he thinks.
In fact, the stones didn't just take Tony's arm. They changed him on a fundamental level. He is now basically immune to magic -- it slides right off of him, like water off his armor. So when everyone around him goes from promising that Peter is probably okay to not knowing who Peter is, he knows immediately that something is very, very wrong.
He doesn't care that he's "still severely medically compromised" and "possibly suffering from delusions please Dr. Stark would you stay in bed-." He's recovered for long enough. Now it's time to find his kid.
Bonus:
After all the hurt/comfort that this fic rightfully deserves, Tony discovers that there are definitely a few more perks to being immune to magic.
Bonus x2
He discovers this when confronting Dr. Strange
