Fate & Phantasms TDoV special!
we're getting a little too close to 1000 followers for my liking, so it's time to celebrate the Transgender Day of Visibility! /j
sadly we don't have the time to create a whole new build for a famous historical transgender person, but we still have time to do a roundup of all the trans people already in fate, whether through their historical source or in fate itself. we're also including any servant who intentionally doesn't care about the gender binary in here, because its our list and we'll do as we'll please. we're also not including genderbends on being genderbent alone, or else we'd be here all day.
so, if you want to get a trans D&D party together for the Transgender Day of Vengeance, check out some of the options below!
Artoria Pendragon: we're including her not because she's a genderbend, but because she spent her entire life laboring under a gender role that slowly crushed her physically and mentally. Big mood, as the kids say.
Chevalier d'Eon: obviously putting modern labels of sexuality on historical figures is a fraught game at the best of times, but we can definitely say that the historical d'Eon was intersex, and chose to present as female towards the end of her life, so whatever she was it definitely wasn't cisgender.
Cú Chulainn: Cu isn't explicitly transgender in either his source nor in Fate, but it's not that hard to get a trans interpretation from the Ulster Cycle, what with its emphasis on how small and beardless Cu is, plus how he was immune to that curse Medb used to give all the men of Ulster birthing pains. plus this is our list so fuck it, we stan.
Sir Francis Drake: now admittedly this is our shakiest logic yet, but hear me out- her bio explicitly says that her crew sees calling her a woman as "rude" to her. there's a lot of ways to read into that, and this is one of them.
Jack the Ripper: ...can you reject the gender you were assigned at birth if you were never born? still, this one's just a numbers game- at least one of those abortions would've been assigned male, right? also, a screaming amalgam of the dead back for vengeance is great energy to bring to the party.
Mordred Pendragon: their gender? knight.
SHIKI, Shiki, and Shiki: being multiple people does wild things to gender. problematic fave tbf
Astolfo: Astolfo.
Hundred Personas: again, this one's a numbers game. ...do they still count as trans if they have their own bodies now? also, give them the male tag lasengle. you cowards.
Minamoto-no-Raikou: we're not including this one just because she's a genderbend, but because she's spent her whole life under the burden of a gender role she never wanted. also I've met plenty of tranfemmes who are just as obsessed about motherhood and want that exact kind of body.
Leonardo da Vinci: nonbinary queen, we stan
Enkidu: literally genderfluid, I can respect a good pun.
Prince Nezha: does not give a shit about their gender. good for them, best beep-boop.
Sieg: the yggdmillenia family didn't bother giving their mana batteries genders, so Sieg's canonically intersex! he's also a fucking great looper, if you got him you should level him.
Shi Huangdi: at some point the first emperor of china kind of forgot gender existed. god I wish that was me.
Kama: they can transform, Lasengle. you said so yourself. give them a male skin, you cowards
Sima Yi & Reines: ...I mean, I hear people call being trans like, "having a man's soul in a woman's body", and that's literally this.. does this count? I don't know, but the important thing is it's raising the question.
Maou Nobu: I've met them and they're trans, that's good enough proof for me.
Caeneus: ditto.
Van Gogh, Nemo, and Taira-no-Kagekiyo: I'm sorry for lumping these three together, but they're all right next to each other and they're all just "being multiple people does weird things to your gender" again.

Summary
When exploring Enkanomiya, Aether recklessly tried to stop a group of Fatui, and was the victim of a concoction that changed his body into female. His first instinct is to hide it until the effect wears off. But as time goes by and he can’t exactly isolate and stop living, he is forced to let the world know and accept his new body. And what started as an unhappy twist of luck soon is revealed to be what he needed to reconnect with his loved ones, with the meaning of his journey… and with himself.
Notes
I am non-binary and my Aether for this fic also is on the spectrum, and he felt like that even before the transformation. So this fic is not your typical cis-swap (though I’m not trying to judge that kind of fic), but rather an exploration of gender on several levels. Also, I often draw skins, and I’ve been drawing some genderbendings, so you can check what Aether would look like here at the beginning of the chapter.
Besides that, Aether also feels more comfortable with ideas of relationship anarchy – people who know me from the fic To be Known made clear they enjoyed how I portrayed that, and honestly, I’m just as thirsty for queerplatonic polyamorous relationships and relationships that defy labels as they were. However, while my other fic was wholesome but dark, this ones more palatable to a wider audience. I am also operating under the idea that in the Teyvat for this fic, there are no specific sexuality labels but rather an idea that everyone is bi for default, but some people have stronger preferences, and others don’t even like any gender.
As for ages, Aether is an adult. That’s how I interpret the lore as well. But since no relationship will be explicit, feel free to headcanon him as you wish and have any ships you want, you can even ramble to me about them in the comments and I might throw you some crumbs in future chapter :p
I started writing this before 2.5 released, canon-compliant with everything until the exploration of Enkanomiya, including past limited-time events. The only things that haven’t happened yet are the rebuilding of the Jade Chamber and the second Lantern Rite. And like in canon, Aether is getting impatient and losing sight of what matters, which is important for this story.

So I was thinking about the parallels between Cobra Kai and Fight Club--mainly that macho dudebros who idolize Tyler Durden and/or the entirety of the “Hawk” persona are entirely missing the point and the general commentary that toxic masculinity is like...bad--and before I knew it, my mind wandered to an Elimetri Fight Club AU and I realized it’d be like...beyond perfect??? I’m shitting myself with excitement so y’all get to hear about it, buckle up!
BIG BOI SPOILERS FOR FIGHT CLUB BELOW, DON’T KEEP READING IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN IT YET AND YOU WANT TO
Anyways just imagine Eli as the protagonist, “Hawk” as Tyler Durden, and Demetri as Marla (genderbent, obviously lol). Like maybe Eli stays in Cobra Kai under Kreese’s influence and as a result, his mental health just COMPLETELY tanks to the point where his grip on reality itself starts slipping (which isn’t really THAT far-fetched, considering that not a single goddamn person has tried SENDING THIS POOR KID TO THERAPY and every adult in his life is FUCKIN USELESS) and he’s in a bad enough place a few years down the line to actually start seeing Hawk as a completely separate person. Of course, before this happens, he eventually feels like he has to “grow up” and give up the “Hawk” persona--he stops taking karate, he goes to college, he gets a “normal,” well-paying, respectable job. But even escaping from Kreese, even assimilating into what seems to be a peaceful and stable life, it doesn’t make him happy--he figures all his bridges are too far burned to mend, and his old friends who he alienated now probably hate him too much to ever want anything to do with him again, after all the shit he pulled while in Cobra Kai. Never having the best social skills, Eli is certainly no natural at making new friends either---he’s decently friendly with some of his coworkers, but that’s about all he has in the way of a social life. He’s lonely, he’s frustrated with his repetitive, empty life, he’s bored with his job, and perhaps worst of all--the remnants of his Hawk personality never really left. That aggressive streak, that thirst for violence, that burn for a fight--it’s still there, no matter how deep he’s pushed it. Then one day, on the way back from another dull business trip, he meets a guy about his age who wears his hair just like Eli wore it back in high school. He even goes by the same old nickname Johnny Lawrence once gave to Eli--how about that? Hawk encourages Eli to get back into karate to get out some of that pent-up aggression, but isn’t interested in doing it with all the “suffocating constraints” of a normal adult martial arts class. Before Eli knows it, he and Hawk have started an underground “Karate Club” where basically, anything goes.
Demetri, meanwhile, has gone off the deep end arguably just as much as Eli--his grief at losing his friendship with Eli sent him spiraling into a deep depression, and he ended up feeling so numb and unmotivated that he dropped out of school, turning to drugs and alcohol to cope and to just be able to feel something again. His new self-destructive tendencies and crushing depression have completely exhausted and driven most of his old friends away--Miguel, Sam, Chris, Nate. Now, scraping by working at a dingy convenience store, Demetri is nearly as alone as Eli. He starts going to random support groups just to have someone to talk to--imagine his surprise when he runs into his old friend Eli Moskowitz, infiltrating support groups for exactly the same reason. He’s ecstatic when Eli reaches out, wanting to reconnect and try being friends again after all these years. However, with as much as both their minds have already spiraled, it’s hardly going to be rainbows and butterflies for Demetri just because Eli is back in his life. And the same Hawk who once snapped his arm in half is not nearly as gone as Demetri thinks...
As relieved as Eli is to have Demetri back, his new friend Hawk...complicates things. Hawk treats Demetri with open scorn and contempt, chastising him for being a “weak pussy” whose relative maturity and logical senses (which, Eli can’t help but notice, have seemed to increased back to what he remembers from high school since Demetri started spending time with Eli--almost like the self-destructive habits and drug and alcohol abuse stopped as soon as Demetri had something to live for) are “suppressing” the violent, primal urges Hawk so much revels in. And yet, somewhat unexpectedly, Hawk lusts for Demetri like Eli never expected. Before Eli knows it, Hawk and Demetri are regularly fucking like the world is on fire and they’ll never get the chance again. And Eli doesn’t know what to think--he can’t imagine why Demetri would want to sleep with someone who treats him like utter filth the rest of the time. And Eli doesn’t much like the way Hawk treats Demetri, either--to the point where he questions if he really wants to be around his cool new friend as much as he thinks. And of course, there’s the fucking awful icing on the cake to top everything off--Eli is falling in love with Demetri, and he knows it’ll end terribly.
Demetri is...concerned, to say the least. It’s starting to baffle him, how Eli is flipping back and forth seemingly at random between the timid, meek best friend he had for years and the hyper-masculine asshole with spiked hair who made his life hell in high school. But he vows he’s going to get Eli through...whatever this is, and he’s not going to let Eli lose his mind. Demetri refuses to lose him again, no matter what it takes. But that might be harder than Demetri thinks, given the fact that the karate club Eli’s started with “Hawk” is already getting WAY out of hand...
But Demetri can’t say anything about that, can he? After all, the first rule of Karate Club is you don’t TALK about Karate Club. Well...unless you’re talking to yourself about it where you think Demetri can’t hear, anyways. Things are just getting more insane by the day.

Legit SO HYPED about this, like I can’t stop thinking about how similar the Eli/Hawk and Narrator/Tyler dichotomies are??? Like we’ve got this meek, timid, rule-following guy who just does what other people want him to for the most part and tries not to stand out, and then we have the side of him that has all this explosive, repressed anger at the world and the society he’s forced to live in (even if it’s just the “society” of high school lol) and this destructive hypermasculine energy and it’s lowkey FASCINATING to me??? And Tyler even has flashy, flamboyant clothing the same way Hawk has flashy, flamboyant hair!!! And of course Demetri tries to be the “Marla” in that he’s the Voice of Reason who’s the only one who really tries to help this guy battling his own head. And some of Marla’s dialogue to the narrator/Tyler sounds EXACTLY like the kind of thing Demetri would say when Eli is flipping back and forth between “Hawk” and “Eli,” it’s PERFECT. Like I am SO DOWN for this AU, if someone writes this I will sell you every limb on my body. It’d be dark as shit and probably can’t really work without both Eli and Demetri being a LITTLE insane, but ohhhh baby, that’s what I love about it <3 THE ANGST! THE DRAMA! THE PAIN! I live for it!!!</p>

They robbed us of Mulan and Aurora 😭 I couldn’t choose so I decided to do both :3
Part one:
You found yourself on some sort of island and you had no idea how you got there. You ‘came out’ who were you kidding, your so called ‘friend’ outed you to your parents. Who didn’t take the news so well, they kicked you out the minute they got the chance and you were walking around the streets with tears streaming down your face. That’s when the scene around you completely shifted.
“Hello there.” A voice interrupted and you turned to face the figure.
“Who are you? And where the hell am I?”
“One questions are a time, Lass.” He chuckled. You tensed at his remark. “My name’s Peter Pan. Who are you?”
“I’m [Y/N]*” You said. “And I’m no ‘Lass.’ I’m a boy.” You claimed courageously. Peter studied you and tilted his head.
*If you’re a reader that’s a woman, please make up genderbent name ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ or a unisex name that you like. In this part, the reader will be a transmasculine (FTM)
“I mean no offense.....but you’re a girl, are you not?” He asked. You huffed as you pulled your sweater over to cover your chest, you were never able to get a chest binder. And you didn’t want to use ace bandages.
“Look, does my gender matter? I just want to know where I am.”
“You’re in Neverland.”
“Oh.” You felt stupid. He just said his name was Peter Pan, where else would Peter Pan be but Neverland? You internally insulted yourself. “So uh.....could you help me out?”
“Sorry, can’t do that. You’re here for a reason.” He smirked. “Now, what’s your tragic story?”
“What do you mean?”
“Well, Neverland is where unloved people go. People who feel lost and those who feel like they don’t belong. If you’re here, you’re one or the other.”
“So I can’t go back?”
“Nope.”
“Oh thank gods, never really liked it there.” You breathed and Peter raised a brow. “Look, I don’t know if you’re familiar with the LGBTQ community.....are you?”
“Somewhat. I know gay people exist.”
“I’m transgender. Someone who’s birthed sex doesn’t match their gender.......I was born in the wrong body. Externally, I’m a girl. But internally, I’m a boy.”
“Oh, my apologies.”
“It’s not your fault. My ex-friend outed me to my homophobic parents and they kicked me out.”
“Outed you?”
“It means that someone singled an LGBTQ person to other people without that person’s consent. So my ‘friend’ told my parents I’m transgender without my permission.” You sighed. “So I guess that’s why I’m here.”
“I’ll do my best to explain to the Lost Boys, you could always stay with us.....we’ll be your family.” Peter held out his hand. “What do you say, laddie?” You smiled at him and took his hand.
“Yes.”
Part two:
You had been with the Lost Boys for a while now. At that time, you had been busy questioning about your gender. You didn’t feel like a girl or a boy. Sure they called you a girl, but you were like them which confused them. You acted more like a boy. Gotta thank growing up with five brothers. Maybe I’m.....no, I can’t be a boy. I don’t want a dick, I just feel like a blob. A gender less blob. You sighed.
“You okay?” Felix asked. “You’ve been sighing for the past five minutes.”
“Ughhhhhhhh, trying to figure out my gender.”
“You’ll get through it, you always do. Here, eat your lunch before you die.”
“Thanks.” You grumbled. “Instead of calling me a Lost Girl, how about.....Lost Person?” Felix snorted and started to cough.
“Lost Person?” He chuckled. “Why not just....Lost?”
“You know what, that’s better.” You grinned. “I don’t know, I just don’t feel like a boy or a girl.”
“So Lost Person?” A new voice piped in. “Has an interesting kick to it. What are your pronouns, love?”
“They and them.” You answered. “But I like Lost Boy, so just call me a Lost Boy, but my pronouns are they and them.”
“Told you that you would figure it out.” Felix winked at you. “Peter probably has to call you ‘mate.’” He chuckled.
“Mate.” You guffawed.
“Mate.”
“Mate.”
“Mate.”

Hi, anon who asked about the Ghidorah/Godzilla prompt from earlier. I asked just cause. Yes, this is my first time for your blog and I don't really know about your head cannons. I just asked about it since I didn't know about the science of your reproduction and I recently came from another auther who did genderbent Ghidorah but I really wasn't interested in the characterization. I hope that you weren't offended by me asking for a genderbent, or rather, sexbent. Do the genders as you please.

Glad you ultimately considered the response good/interesting! I was like, I coulda just said “nah, a genderbend wouldn’t work with my headcanons,” but I tend to think it’s less helpful/considerate to not give a full explanation if I have a full explanation that I’m able to offer. And Ghidorah gender is a matter I’d put a fair amount of thought into, both in terms of actual worldbuilding and in terms of questioning the tendency to default to certain assumptions about gender when projecting them onto nonhuman characters, so I figured I might as well give a full explanation.
Re: your fourth message: “Ghidorah would be ‘meh’ about a human label” is, in fact, the exact point I was making myself when I said Ghidorah wouldn’t care about being given human pronouns any more than humans would care about being given dorat pronouns. We’re in complete agreement there. Ghidorah wouldn’t care what humans call him.
So when I say I don’t want to “shackle” a character inside the binary if there’s no canonical reason to do so, I don’t just mean “I don’t want to stick a human gender label on the character.” Ghidorah’s already got human gender labels stuck on him and probably doesn’t care about them! What I mean is “I don’t want to headcanon that the character 1) comes from a species with overt male/female sexual dimorphism, AND 2) mentally subscribes to the idea of a gender binary that’s roughly identical to mainstream Western human beliefs about a gender binary, AND 3) believes in a division of gender roles that align with those human gender binary beliefs, AND 4) defines themself on the basis of that gender binary, choosing one of those two genders for themself (and probably making that choice on the basis of their genitalia), AND 5) limits their personality/identity/behavior/hobbies/careers/etc on the basis of what they think is eligible/appropriate for their gender.”
Since, for a character to be inside of a gender binary, it takes more than just another species slapping one of two labels on them (as in your aforementioned “human label is put on an alien dragon that doesn’t care” example). The character isn’t inside a gender binary until & unless they come from a culture that defines gender options around such a binary, limit their viewpoint based on those options, and internally define themselves based on that binary—and that’s what I consider “shackling”: a character internalizing all of those ideas, and thus limited by them to the exclusion of options/headcanons outside of those ideas.

I know StephMeyer has a new-ish book out called ‘Life and Death’ that, from my understanding, is just a genderbent Twilight. And I think that she has out a working companion book to Twilight called ‘Midnight Sun’ which is Twilight but from Edward’s perspective. I wanted to ask your opinions on both, if you don’t mind sharing? I, personally, would think that I’d enjoy Midnight Sun because it would flesh out Edward and his family relationships more, but I’m not too sure about ‘Life and Death’.
Life and Death was released on the 10th anniversary of the Twilight book in 2015, and features a gender swap of all the characters except Charlie and Renee and the Volturi (who have their own twist). Midnight Sun is a companion to Twilight told from Edward’s POV.  SM started writing it after reading fanfic where she felt like fans really understood Bella but didn’t really understand Edward. She intended to have to published but when she was about half-way done it was leaked online and she was discouraged from working on it anymore. A few years ago she said she was working on it again, but then the Fifty Shades of Grey series (which started as a Twilight fanfic) released a book from the ‘Edward’-inspired character’s POV, which once again frustrated and discouraged her. Of the two, I’m more interested in Midnight Sun. I loved the glimpses we got of the Cullen family ‘behind the scenes’ and how their relationships existed before Bella’s presence kind of up-ended their lives. There’s a neat moment, for example, where Alice and Rosalie are working at a computer together on some fashion design or something–once Bella’s in the picture, their sisterly relationship becomes much more antagonistic, but they seemed friendly here. I also found Edward more entertaining as this overwhelmed teenage vampire than the sort of ‘perfect’ supernatural romantic lead as he appeared in Bella’s narration. Life and Death is interesting–SM’s stated purpose was that she wanted to prove that Bella wasn’t “weak” because she was a woman, but because she was human. I don’t know that the book entirely proves that, though, because SM made some very gendered changes to certain backstories that undermine the premise a little bit. (The danger Beau faces in Port Angleles is different from the danger Bella faced, for example). There are also some inherent problems in the concept of a genderswap as it assumes gender is binary. However, I generally liked the ending a lot better than I liked Breaking Dawn. I felt the sort of bittersweet ending Beau and Edythe got was much more in keeping with the tone of the overall series than the perfect fairytale of BD. And the concept of a pack of female werewolves is pretty great even if we didn’t get to see much of them, as this book mirrors the plot of Twilight until the end.

For new followers, because this feels like something I’m 1000 percent hyper aware could be seen as a bad thing:
my sigyn is genderfluid (maybe more accurate to say genderless but i think genderfluidity covers the times when she is a part of nature that is not either/or on the binary soooo...) because sigyn is a wight! meaning while born in aesir shape with female parts her species is wight and at a young age sigyn learned to take on various shapes as her parents do.
she responds to she, she responds to he, she responds to they/them/anything/nothing. 
sigyn has been fungus and pebbles and big stones and trees and foxes and birds and all sorts of creatures and spirits of nature so!!! if you ever see me using male FCs it’s because sigyn takes on the male shape from time to time, but it’s not a genderbent sigyn because it’s the same sigyn as you see any other time on this blog.

By dividing “affirmational” and “transformative” modes of fan engagement into defined categories we lose the ability to analyze modes of fan engagement that fall in a gray area between these terms, enforcing gender stereotypes that come with viewing these areas as a strict binary. Bob Rehak discusses some of these grey areas in his article “From Model Building to 3D Printing: Star Trek and Build Code Across the Analog/Digital Divide”. Rehak’s article goes into how material fan production balances “complicated relationships between canonicity and creativity” (114) and he proposes the idea of “build code” as a way of understanding how both “textual and material forms” and “official and unofficial productions” interact with each other to create the Star Trek universe (121).
Early in his article, Rehak discusses other works in fan studies, including Matt Hill’s work on “mimetic” fandom and how it blurs the lines between “transformative” and “affirmational” categories (116). Modeling, blueprinting, and cosplay all use creative skill sets associated with “transformative” fan works, but the end products are prided for canonicity and how well they mimic what’s the original media. The focus on accuracy and canon could be argued to outweigh the “transformative” procedures and place these fan works in the “affirmational” category. However, this would erase the examples of “transformative” end products created in these material productions.
If we take cosplay as an example we have two different forms of cosplay that play with the expectations of both “transformative” and “affirmational” categories. On the one hand, cosplay can be hyper-accurate representations of a media character. Hours of research and effort goes into analyzing official text in order to draw up accurate sewing patterns and decide on the materials needed for such costumes. No matter what the cosplayer’s skill level with the creation of the costume they still enter a deep conversation with textual productions, a relationship that fits well into Rehak’s definition of his proposed “build code” (121).
On the other hand, we have cosplayers who take a canon aspect and transform it to create a new concept for their costume. Examples of this could be gender-bending a character (consider female Winter Soldiers), playing with alternate universe versions of characters (steampunk versions of superheroes), or even cosplays of characters from other transformational fan works. This kind of material production is similar to what Rehak observes in the “practice of modifying ship designs to produce spacecraft from non- or partially canonical sources,” that is prevalent in Star Trek modeling communities (120).
Some examples of cosplay represent both categories of fan engagement at once. How would you define a cosplay of Prince Gumball or Fionna from Adventure Time? The characters are from the original media so the cosplay are “affirmational”, but they’re also genderbent versions of the show’s main cast from episodes that explore the existence of in-universe fan fiction and “transformative” works.
I picked cosplay to examine rather than Rehak’s examples of modeling because of how it is “typically coded as feminine in relation to masculine build culture” due to its use of sewing (Rehak 120). The comparison of cosplay and build culture points to the gender stereotypes we have for certain modes of fan engagement, even between activities that use creative skill sets and feature examples of both “transformative” and “affirmational” end products. I feel we would get more out of analyzing fan engagement as a spectrum between these two categories and that it would help us fix the issues of gender stereotyping that comes from the use of a binary system.

You have some suggestions for the show already, but Im a bit of a unique situation; my company is doing Anything Goes this fall, and I want to go out for a lead for the first time, and they suggest we sing from the show. The hitch, Im 21, trans, femme presenting, and solidly a bass/barritone, hoping to be considered for genderbent mens roles and transposed womens roles. Also weighting the merits of singing a "mens" vs a "womens" song. Its an unusal request I know, but got any suggestions? Tysm!
hmmm that is a rough spot. I would FOR SURE sing from the show. picking another song presents a whole new set of challenges. 
I think you’re more likely to be cast in a men’s role, thats gender-bent(ish) to be like non-binary or androgynous. Given your vocal range and that you’re going for a principle role for the first time, I would look at Moonface Martin and Elisha Whitney, possibly Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, but people might be less likely to genderbend that role at all since he has a love interest and fore some reason people dont like making characters even SLIGHTLY gay even though musical theatre is gay as hell. Billy Crocker is tenor for sure so so matter what, that’s kind of out of the question, just because of vocals. 
Depending on what version of the show you’re doing, Elisha Whitney may or may not have a solo song, but Martin will for sure. I would sing something that he sings. I’m guessing this is for college, and there is usually an issue of too many women and not enough men so if you look like a woman and walk in there a whip out a men’s song in the men’s key and kill it, they may be VERY into it and excited by a cool new take! They also may be VERY insensitive so be aware.

uhhh how about h/cs for some class 1/a or 1/b students being genderbent from villain's quirk so they have to spend the day with their s/o like that?
I limit my asks to two characters, but I do wanna write this lol so I’ll just pick some and roll with it :D and just for this ask, i’m rolling with the general male/female binary even though gender is actually a spectrum :D so i guess it’s more sex-based than gender-based
Kirishima:
The number one thing he’s annoyed he can’t do now: wear his hero costume since he’s basically shirtless. Temporary tanktop it is!
He’s pretty confused and honestly is like “how do girls deal with these?!” when his chest gets in the way of, well, “everything” according to him
He’s worried his s/o won’t find him attractive as a girl, but it’s still definitely Kirishima, just in a different body. They assure him that they love him no matter what, and how he looks doesn’t affect that
Bakugou:
He’s the spitting image of his mother but younger and he fucking hates it, saying he looks like the “old hag”
He really doesn’t care and attempts to ignore his new, temporary body, but some of his clothes don’t fit and is glad this only lasts a day
“You better like me like this,” he says to his s/o, making a point that they’d be with him no matter what
They do keep teasing him about looking like his mom. “At least you’d grow up to be pretty-” “SHUT UP!”
Uraraka:
She is a horribly embarrassed mess at being a boy, honestly. Everything feels different and being taller messes her up when she’s reaching for things
Her pants are too short, now, so instead of going out with her s/o they just stay inside and watch movies
After a while she gets used to it, but is still ready for the quirk to wear off soon
She closes her eyes when going to the bathroom and definitely walked into a women’s bathroom on accident at least once
Midoriya:
He’s equally if not more embarrassed than Uraraka. He can’t look at himself in the mirror without blushing
He closes his eyes while getting dressed and ends up putting half the stuff on backwards
His s/o thinks his hilarious how flustered he is, though, and teases him a bit about it, but not enough to be malicious
He tries to cover up as much as possible but it’s difficult, but he’s glad you don’t care what he looks like, even if it’s just for a day
Todoroki:
He’s sort of “well, this is inconvenient” about the whole thing. He also has a new appreciation for the difficulty women go through when trying to find things that fit
It’s sort of odd, but he actually appreciates skirts? He likes the added mobility, but of course wears some shorts underneath
He drips soba noodles onto his shirt, not used to having a chest, and his s/o makes a makeshift bib so he doesn’t get his clothes dirty
Jirou:
She is kind of uncomfortable at first but gets used to it after the first half of the day (as much as she can, anyway)
She’s normally pretty shy, and this makes her even more reserved. Her s/o assures her that they still care about her and the quirk will be gone by tomorrow
She does test out clothes she couldn’t easily wear as a guy, like fishnet shirts and other “punk” type things. Taking her shopping lifts her mood
Momo:
She, unlike the guys, is kind of…relieved? About the whole chest thing. It’s like a literal weight has been lifted, and her back pain is gone!
She has more surface area she can use for her quirk since she could technically go without a shirt, but doesn’t need it if she’s just hanging out with her s/o
Some of her shirts don’t fit correctly, now, so she also goes shopping…even if she’s just like this for a day
