Every now and then I replay the first episode of VLD and I wonder why I thought it be a good show lol

#mostly just the part where Allura is assigning pilots to lions #why lol. the first five people who show up are just perfect fits?? hate it lol #i have no au plot ideas but itd have made more sense to draw out the forming of voltron. like for a longer time. like its the s1 finale #and to be traveling looking for appropriate pilots #or the s2 finale? like what if the original gang somehow stayed in contact despite not being Voltron paladins and they proved being the best #team despite not piloting immediately. i feel like a stronger plot of their forming teamwork outside of being Voltron would have also made #their friendships seem more real too lmao #like what if Lance IS Blue's pilot bit hes the only one for a long time. the other lions couldn't actually *just be* located #*but. not bit. and what if Pidge runs off in a stolen vessel to find her dad and brother. what if Shiro isnt.. so flat as a character and is #desperate to find his old team and runs off with them to help out and free others #Keith could somehow get involved with The Blades a lot sooner #and Hunk finds his footing as a leader in rebellion organization. i hate that he was just the funny guy allll the way thru #also (still not a plot bc my brain is unorganized lol) Allura doesnt die. been seeing a lot of ninjago fan kids so obviously I had to contribute

I made these at school so they r kinda wonky, but I do love how Zai turned out! It’s a good look for them. What bicons.

anywayssss I made these two like 2 years ago so it’s exciting to be able to remake them with the merge in mind! Originally i had a kailor and lloykita kids (despite the fact that the only canon ship I actually love is pixane) but they had to go cuz now Lloyd has two teens and Kai has a feral demon child.

in this AU, Sora, Arin, Wyldfyre, and Zaira are like the ninja group with Lloyd as their main mentor and the old ninja just helping out ig. Zaria would be about 10 years younger than Sora and Arin, and about 5 years younger than Wyldfyre. Finn is the s1 Nya of the team, directing them from the Bounty and building their mechs. He is REVOLTED by the idea of being a ninja, unlike Zai, who loves it.

Ralph headcannons go

- ok uhhhh met George at some pub

- I imagine George had just come off active duty and was feeling a little out of touch with the world

- Ralph came over to his table, and was like 'you look bloody miserable mate can I get you a drink'

- hit it off from there

- they like completely different things (Ralph is very into art/the abstract while George likes logic and methods) but they have the same thought process so get on together

- he's from Bristol. Idk why I think that he just is, used to work the docks

- gets homesick quite a bit, misses his family (2 older, 1 younger sister, mother and father)

- trans. Because I say so

- became interested in poems through translating all the codes, fascinated with what you can do with words

- writes poems comparing war torn London and the trans body

- also dirty limericks to make his friends laugh

- really into cold tea, but doesn't make it with cold water, makes a normal cup of tea and just waits for it to cool down

- neither George or Ralph know who the spotted necktie originally belongs to

Character ask game Rachel Amber?

General opinion/How much I care about them: BACHEL BAMBER MY ORIGINAL CHARACTER OC. Okay obviously not really but part of me will always think of her that way a bit - Kae and I DID start intensely working on Rachel fic before BTS was even announced. And I still think we did a better job writing her. Anyway obviously yeah I love her I find her so compelling. Being charming and beloved is such a part of who she is, but she's also got this darker side, this bottomless pit in her that always wants more more more and doesn't know how to fully let herself connect with someone that loves her because to do so would require her to compromise something else she wants. It's such a compelling central struggle, I love teasing it out. 8 years on and I'm still not normal about Rachel Amber

A ship I love: AMBERPRICEFIELD PEAK!!!!! I love the yearning and tragedy of Amberprice, the way they're slightly toxic. I think Amberfield is really sweet too. But put all that together and you've got a real meal.

A non-romantic relationship that I love: idk. Always liked writing the Joyce/Rachel relationship in HTLH. And I love Rachel/Dana friendship. Bicons tbh. Of course there's also Rachel/Victoria which (in my head) is a deeply one-sided looney Tunes ass relationship where Victoria is horny and scheming and filled with hate and Rachel just is like. "Victoria? Lmao ew"

The NOTP: I find Rachel/Frank compelling on a character level but I think he's an interesting mistake for her to make not a relationship I want to see progress. Jefferson/Rachel is, of course, the ultimate NOTP. Ditto to Nathan. Yuck.

My biggest headcanon about them: tons just tons but I love longboard Rachel Amber the most

An idea for a fanfiction I would like to write/read about them: (if I have none in my WIPs I'll make one up on the spot!) Lmao. I mean. Arisu (he/him) - Bisexual disaster. Also gender nonconforming. He likes traditionally feminine stuff. Kuina taught him how to do makeup and piss off bigots by simply being in their sight. Kinda gives off transmasculine vibes as well so... yea :D. And when dysphoria kicks in, he locks himself up in a room, usually with Usagi, with them recommending him to do activities he enjoyed in the original world, like video games and other stuff.

Karube (he/him) - I said it once. I said it twice. And I'll say it once again: Karube is one of THE bicons of A.I.B. He was even Arisu's bf, and this part from the 7♡ from the manga is pretty much some damning proof.

(A bit biphøbic/hōmõphøbic of Netflix to not include this scene imo :/ I mean, they were obviously more than friends if he wanted to live together with Arisu in Australia).

Chota (he/him) - not a part of the LGBTQ+, but 100% an ally :D

Usagi (she/they) - Pansexual demigirl. Every so often they throw hands at anyone who talks shit about them and Arisu (especially when misgendering them both). Her father was supportive of her coming out. Unfortunately, that happened about a month or two before he unålïved himself.

Chishiya (he/they) - Transmasc. Started HRT when he was 12-ish or so (before starting puberty). The Mona Lisa and that one theory about her (manga readers, iykyk) was somehow his awakening. They cut their hair at 16 and went 'Yk what? I like it.' and that's how they kept it until now. Has top surgery scars and he's proud of it. Also a biromantic ace-spec. You can already bet your ass they had a black ring on the middle finger of their right hand before but they lost it once at a game and didn't bother buying/stealing another one. That's why we don't see him wearing it.

Kuina (she/her) - Canonically, she's transfem. By headcanon, she's also pansexual. She teamed up with Chishiya because t4t supremacy. She's the one who introduced Chishiya to eyeliner and do each others' make up every so often. And as I said earlier, she also taught Arisu how to do his makeup. She gets rid of bigots as a hobby (basically, everyone in here hates bigots, hōmõphøbes, tränsphøbes, and the list goes on).

Ann (she/her) - That's a lesbian right there. She's not into men at all, and all the fandom can agree on this.

Niragi (he/him) - Most likely bisexual (who had internalized hōmõphøbia before). His bullies were hōmõphøbic as well; might be another reason they kept calling him 'twisted', 'a freak', yada yada.

Last Boss | Takatora (they/them) - Mofo's got the three A's (Aroacegender). Slashes down everyone who misgenders them on purpose with their sword. On their free time, they look at the others at The Beach, judging them and talking to cats they find roaming around the place (or even with Cabot. Thanks @aceofspadegrass for coming up with Cabot a long time ago).

Tatta (he/him + neos) - Unlabeled and lowkey transmasc. Still trying to figure himself out. Experimenting with neopronouns. Kissed xyr fair share of people.

Aguni (he/him) - GAY, GAY, HOMOSEXUAL, GAY!!! Him and Hatter were husbands. I dare you to change my mind.

Hatter | Danma (he/him) - PAN AS FUCK, BABY! Discovered that he also liked guys in high school after making out with Aguni, and later on discovered that he's actually pan. He also has a love/hate relationship with the pan jokes (he either hates them or does them himself).

Mira (she/they) - Aroace, lesbian, demigirl and batshit insane (affectionate). Need I say more? Need I say fucking more?

Kuzuryuu (he/him) - Bisexual and tired. Let's just say that a certain nudist philosopher band leader was his awakening and does he regret it? Hell no. Also tired both from the bullshit from his life from the normal world and the blatant biphobia/queerphobia he came across.

A ship I have with said character: Aside from the canon relationship (Terry and Veronica my beloveds. Lark is trying so hard to make himself worse but Terry is just like. Absolutely the fuck not. And bullies him into finding love and happiness again. A random headcanon: Gets Scary the COOLEST mall goth shit whenever she does well on a test or just because. Scary has no fucking idea where he got these band tees and fun chokers and earrings from because they look far too unique to be at any of the mainstream goth stores (and that is because they were originally from Terry Jr.'s own personal teen emo era - he had initially kept them for the sentimental value, but now that his stepdaughter likes this style he figures he can save her some money and give her some stuff she'll actually wear since Veronica tends to miss the mark in the clothes department nowadays).

General Opinion over said character: Most perfectest boy to ever live. Opinion: I fucking miss him I hope he comes back. *Eggman voice* I miss my wife, Lem *sobs into hands*

Get to know me: TURN: Washington's Spies Edition!

Favorite Season: Season 3. I grew up on Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan. Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles and the bicon The Vampire Lestat literally saved my life, in catholic school, in the midst of my own bi crisis compounded with my crisis of morals vs the system. Discounting Benjamin’s wig, if a character, like Benjamin, or Lestat, or Percy, all of which are flawed main POV characters ~don’t~ have a crisis of morals or question the nature of “hero” or in Lestat’s case “goodness” I don’t see the point. Sorry not sorry.

Least favourite season: Season 2. I love Annlett I just don’t personally like Abraham Woodhull ~ as depicted in the show or irl very much, though he’s better than Thomas Jefferson, all my homies hate Thomas Jefferson.

Least Favorite Episode: I appreciate George Washington’s contributions to America as a historical figure, but, as mentioned above, team Sally Hemings & Ona Judge. I also appreciate the actors performances in this show. I act as a hobby and I can script write, though my preference is novels, novellas, poetry & zines — in that order. TURN is exceedingly well written and acted, I just am not partial to George Washington. So the Washington centric episode.

Favorite Iconic Quote: I embodied Benjamin Tallmadge as a coping mechanism during my first week of college, so it’s gotta be: “Oh, I won’t be hiding.”

My Mario Movie Review

⚠️Spoilers ahead!⚠️

I accidentally spoiled myself a few plot points cause some people online decided to post them and throw all this new info in my face, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the film.

Anyways, here's my review of the Mario Movie so let's a go!

-Mario and Luigi were so wholesome together

-Bowser was amazing, I loved that he was evil just for the sake of being evil.

-BOWSER'S LOVE BALLAD ABSOLUTELY SLAPPED. I can see why the Koopalings got their names from musicians, my man Bowser can play a piano!

-Princess Peach's origin story was actually kinda cute! I love the idea of the Toads being her found family, the only question I have though is who are her parents?

-Bowser was a Bicon, enough said

-The blue koopa really became a blue shell and was never heard from again. I guess the blue shelled koopas are suicide bombers 💀

-I really wanted more Luigi screentime, but eh, it's enough for the first film I guess

-The Penguin King and DK also deserve more screentime, maybe we will see them in the sequal

-THE ORCHESTRAL MUSIC ABSOLUTELY SLAPPED, I NEED AN EXTENDED VERSION OF THAT SMW CASTLE THEME NOW

-Peach was one of my favorite characters in the film, she is so kind yet also badass.

-Peach choosing to marry Bowser for the sake of her kingdom and it's people was such a power move on her part

-I hated the fast pacing of the plot, but the movie scenes made up for it

-Overall, despite some criticisms I have, it's a really good movie, I rate it a 8.5/10
