Violet (Princess Viola) - to save her father she becomes an assassin for the Donquixote Pirates. That's so rad! She ate the Glare-Glare fruit (now the ocean hates her) which gives her these amazing clairvoyance powers and shit. She was going to fight Sanji till she was moved by his dedication and ability to see through her. She didn't want to work as an assassin, she wants to save her Kingdom! What a total badass! And then as soon as she joins the Strawhats... Useless. A man had to remind her to use her powers to locate the Tontatta Princess, Mansherry... And now she's nothing more than a pair of binoculars to watch the split up Strawhats. After she FOUGHT SANJI and FOUGHT TO SAVE SANJI! Did we forget about the whale tears? What the fuck!?

Rebecca - What a woman! Even though the whole country hated her, she entered the colosseum. This woman wanted to win to save her country so she could live peacefully with her dad friend! And even though I hated the fact here's a girl that's gonna fight but doesn't wanna hurt people... This bitch stuck to her guns like a fucking champ! She didn't hurt shit and is such a good dex fighter! Holy fuck!!! Of course she lost to Sabo because ya know...... But she joins forces with the Strawhats to save her Kingdom from the Donquixote family. And since she doesn't fight she's now useless........... Will we see more of her? Can she keep rolling those saving throws? Who cares! We'll know she's gonna be useless till one of the men comes along to save her...

Kuween (The Manager) - Here is a woman dedicated to her job! She is THE MOTHER FUCKING MANAGER of the smile factory. And she takes her shit seriously! Her weapon of choice is a... Vacuum? Okay... Um... Vacuums are cool I guess. She can suck up all the escaped rebellious Tontattas, who are slaves at the factory. Yeah she's a bad guy but what a girlboss taking so much responsibility and pride in her work! SUPER!!! Oh no, yeah wait, my boi Franky took her out with a hug and a kiss. Lowly virgin Kuween got played at the absolute MAN POWER of the pervs, Franky and Senor Pink. And is now useless... Like a Hallmark channel movie lead roll, giving up her job because of some useless man. Smh.

Giolla - a super scary art teacher looking mf with a passion for the avant-garde! This lady farts art with the power of the Art-Art fruit (and now the ocean hates her). She turned Chopper into a Minecraft character lmfao. Hilarious! The fact fluffy Doflamingo trusted this old woman enough to get on the Sunny and take the kid and the scientist is amazing! Mango do be trusting his crew! And she would have gotten away with it too... if she wasn't so full of artistic passion and let Brook sweet talk her into art... It do be like that. How come this ugly old broad was the best one yet!?

Baby 5 - yes that's her name, Baby 5. Why? Idk yet, probably some dumb backstory like abandoned by family or something (just finished episode 692: The Struggle with Pica — Zoro's One Finishing Move). However, look at her badass devil fruit... She can turn any part of her body into any kind of weapon using the Arm-Arm fruit (and now the ocean hates her). This bitch turned into a bomb, a fucking bomb, exploded and put herself back together. Fucking rad! So we know she can nuke a place and live. Her downside- she is a female Sanji. Some guy says something and she has to help him... It's sweet. Probably linked to that backstory and wanting to prove she's useful or something... Idk. I know a lot of ladies dream of being a bride and wife one day. So we're really playing this up, but this is totally screwing with her badass abilities. Another Hallmark movie lead roll syndrome claims another op woman... I also wanted to point out, when she fought Franky on punk hazard, changing her upper torso into a gun... She looked like a gun, but last episode fighting another character she changed into a rifle with tits. Are you fucking with me? The gun had to have tits suddenly. I fucking hate this show!

Sugar - the most useful one here, and here's my theory: she's not a woman "yet" but a child. So since since we can't slap tits on her to make her useless, she's more useful. Even though her devil fruit powers stops her body growth so she'll always be stuck with a physical appearance of a child, she's still not perceived as a woman, aka not perceived as useless! With the Hobby-Hobby fruit (and the ocean hating her) she's been turning all the citizens, not citizens, Navy/Marines, and anyone one else that gets in floofer Mango's way into toys, which some how also makes people forget about them. Weird flex, I still don't get it, but okay. She's only stopped by Ussop trying the spicy grape challenge... Which I would have been too. Ussop was fucking terrifying (get that man some milk). But just how useful is she? Well since we saw her freaking out from dudes with long noses and long noses shaped hot dogs... She got some PTSD. So even though this bitch can fight the Tontattas by matching their speed, which is crazy, and can literally make the world forget about you and turn you into a slave for the Donquixote Pirate family, we know how this is gonna end. She'll be rendered useless by some stupid Ussop long nose face thing before she can do any damage to the Strawhats.

Princess Mansherry - Who the fuck spelt her name? Idk, she's in the next episode so I got nothing on her yet except she's crying in the time-out room. Tontatta Princess, Mansherry, who Leo said was "selfish, mean, capricious, and short-tempered" and based on how she was crying for him to save her- bet this girl got a crush on that dude... Boys are dumb (but at least they're useful...)

Wicca - this Tontatta stole Zoro's sword! What a bad ass! We see the Tontatta's strength when she throws a tantrum while arguing with Zoro. And she has the balls to call Luffy, Zoro, and Kin'emon names, cuz they allllllll a special kind of stupid. And she had to put up with all 3 of them at once. Damn girl... And with all that strength what do we see her do? Absolutely nothing. She's become just another background Tontatta... Sad. After she had to do all that work to get Zoro to run in a straight line. She deserves better!

Bian (Pink Bee Squad Leader) - Yes, the Pink Bee herself. Why is she a bee? I'm not sure, I honestly can't remember if the anime said anything about devil fruit or something. Even though she has a title and a whole squadron bee-hind her, what has she actually done? She uhhhhh raided a ship to cause a distraction... And ummmmmmm spelt out some words to start a revolution in the smile factory so her Tontatta friends finally understood they've been tricked. But seriously, what has she done? We see more of that ugly ass beetle man, Kabu, the other squadron leader.

Acilia - omfg I forgot about her! I'm sorry QUEEN! A gladiator at the Corrida Colosseum and like one of 5 people that like Rebecca, this absolute unit of a woman throws her whole pussy into it every time. Honestly, barbarian to barbarian, this bitch serves cunt. She's strong AF and isn't afraid to show off some girly flair with all the cute hearts on her shield. She was fending off that Rolling Logan fool till Cabbage had to ruin it. And of course because Rebecca had to win (her saving throws are too good damn) our barbarian queen fell... But without her help, Rebecca wouldn't have survived. She was useful for one whole episode and that was pretty much it. You go QUEEN! I hope we'll see her again, but since she's such a side character I doubt she'll be showing up ever. You deserve better too, Acilia!

I’m loving how you write Class 1-A’s reaction’s to the reader with certain quirks! Can I request Class 1-A react to a reader who’s bangs covers their eyes but when asked about that, they just adjust their bangs and reveal that they have a lot of eyes and two rows of sharp teeth with a long tongue for shits and giggles? They sorta startle the person who asks because their reactions are hilarious to them.

Their eyes are full of different types of quirk uses with varying uses. With multiple eyes, they have their individual use such as one being x Ray vision, the other eye able to read minds like a book, another to see in the dark, and another to see someone’s aura/emotions etc. Monoma cannot copy it since it’ll overwhelm him cuz he has two eyes and is too weak for a multi quirk 🌚

They seem normal at first but SIKE!!! They can see and know EVERYTHING with their eyes! The drawback is if they use one eye’s specific ability and use it on all of their eyes, it’ll just exhaust them and strain their eyes for a bit. Either way they’re still a nice and good person, they’re just hella intimidating (both unintentionally and when they want to be if someone pisses em off) and op ☺️

start slide three the dormant gods who can't do... anything control the magic??? hey, no one said magic always has to work. foreshadowing alert huge foreshadowing alert. let’s talk about how magic works, shall we :D people use the Spirit to do magic. people have a Vessel (representation of stamina or how much Sprit can be used at once, can be trained!). people also have a Strength (a type of magic that works well with the user, these have varying frequencies which also depends on location). there’s too much i could say here, but the important thing is the main characters’ Strengths. the right depicts an image of a flowchart showing that gods need followers and produce sprit. people need spirit to do magic. end slide three

start slide four okay but where are we??? where could the magic be so fucked? well, here, of course! the left side shows a line art map, split into five parts going clockwise: portingdale, worchester, the hooks, elderwood, unlabeled. the legend shows that there are mountains in portingdale, forests in elderwood, and rivers that run from portingdale to everywhere else. the place where the four labeled regions meet is called the Inner City. the text on the right reads. welcome to Kjer! there are 3 districts. but wait! there are five? sections? and one isn’t even labelled. worchester used to be a district,,, but it left after the war began. the unlabeled section is the disputed region (re: war). let’s talk more about this war. elderwood wanted easier access to water (see: the rivers in the Wetlands) elderwood & portingdale have been fighting there on and off for over half a century. the hooks has three wards: west (hella rich), south (lower income), north (somewhere in between). end slide four

Kaer Styen, meaning “wicked ones”, Ghetfaer Skarnen, meaning “trickster lords”, Ad Knesten, meaning “the grumbles”. that was so many capital letters i don’t like capital letters alskjdflksjd. they have rivalries and conflicts from time to time, but it’s pretty rare. the tww cast is kaer styen !!! their main means of profit is a drug called jezdin. relieves physical and mental pain. lethal in high. quantities/ when tampered with. can also be addictive. they operate out of a dingy tavern-like building, and they live upstairs!!! okay so this is purely for vibes. how did u know. end slide five

start slide six the Gang. literally :3 Kaer Styen, my beloved. the first thing in each of their bios is their Strength (re: the magic slide). artbreeders!!! i fixed quite a few of them, but my artbreeder skills are questionable at best. this slide is split into three columns. the first column shows a white person with short, brown, curly hair and a firm, but not angry, facial expression. len, he/him, pan. Shifter (can manipulate physical properties). cynical, very cynical (because he has killer instincts). “oh people are dying? am i dying? are you dying? why should i care?” in a relationship with cal. the second column shows a person who appears east asian with long, black, wavy hair and fair skin. chloe, she/her, aroace. Chemist (chemistry but magical). literal archery god. also she’s so quiet it’s SCARY. seems welcoming, emphasis on /seems/ she’ll destroy your ass. knows what you’re feeling. she just. knows. the third column shows a white person with dirty blonde hair. they are smiling. cal, they/them, bi. Whisperer (can persuade others through speech/music). so casually funny all your burdens disappear for a hot minute. gets very attached very deeply. grew up in Portingdale which becomes Important later. end slide six

Healer (healing magic <3). seen hell and doesn’t want others to suffer. still believes in the gods’ existence. we Don’t talk about her awful parents. raised by a lovely woman in the South Ward, known as Nana. this eye (left) is almost PURPLE which i didn’t do on purpose but is honestly such a cool idea. the second column shows a partially smiling black man with short curly hair. jereth, he/him, gay. powerful life magic thing (will be spoilers if i talk any more). joins them at the beginning. honestly kind of scared of them (who wouldn’t be), but wants to live up to expectations. throws himself into stuff to avoid Thoughts. the third column shows a woman with brown skin, black wavy hair, and a small smile. she is NOT a member of Kaer Styen, but i’m talking about her here all the same. adalaide, she/her, bi (i didn’t like the e in adelaide alskdfjlsj). Melder (metals and the like). heir to the Portingdale throne (assuming her dad doesn’t disown her). start slide eight some semblance of plot? coming right up!! the four (jereth isn’t there yet!) are attacked in the Inner City. turns out it’s portingdale soldiers. and then they discover that portingdale has been poisoning the southern rivers (affects worchester and the south ward) because worchester doesn’t really contribute to Kjer as a whole. word gets out, and elderwood, naturally, is even angrier at portingdale (remember, they've been at war). so, they try to stop portingdale from being power hungry enough to poison the entirety of a country while learning about why worchester is so isolated while ALSO trying not to get killed by everyone who hates them. end slide eight

I’m not going to lie, I think RPing Ikkaku has made me far more protective of Law as a character than I was back when I was just writing fanfic. And I don’t mean in the “he’s my favorite so no one is allowed to hurt him” kind of way but in the “for fuck’s sake quit making him blatantly OOC and treating him like a fucking joke.”

Because holy shit, Law’s a complex, morally-grey character with an extremely tragic backstory, but more often than not I see so many bad takes that deliberately skew shit to make him look incompetent or weak or even worse, soft. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not some humorless bitch who can’t poke fun at her favorite character (the man is hella stressed from this alliance and is OP as fuck, of course I’m going to make the occasional gag) but once you blow it out of proportion, or ignore 90% of his characterization to focus solely on stuff like his dislike of bread or the fact that he enjoys comics, it stops being funny.

Sorry for the vent, it’s not about anyone I follow or even any singular post in particular but this has been on my mind for months and it just keeps getting worse any time I foolishly dare to go into the Trafalgar Law tag to find cool gifs or amazing art or occasionally good headcanons.

I love a good joke. I just hate Trafalgar Law being the joke, especially when it’s blatantly ignoring his canon characterization.

Powers: animal metamorphosis, enhanced speed

Think Beast Boy from 'Teen Titans', but less green he's more likely to be yellow or orange, lmao

Handy in lots of different situations. Very versatile

Incredibly cheeky and joins in with Tanaka's cheesy jokes and one-liners

Absolute maniac, but the people love him, especially schoolkids lmao

Has his own energy drink flavour, and he's STOKED about it

Yellow and black suit, kind of like his hair

Has a surprisingly large following of fans

Laps up the attention, but it doesn't really go to his head

Quiet and serious when he's on a mission/fighting

☆ Hinata Shouyou ☆

Powers: self replication, super speed, levitation

His powers took a while to properly manifest, which left him feeling isolated as a teen

Was pretty lost until Ukai helped train him

Got into a fight with Kageyama in an alleyway when he first met him MET HIM IN THE STREET, LMAO

Argues with Kageyama a lot at headquarters, but they work together like a dream when taking down bad guys

Has a heart of literal gold precious baby

Is contantly amazed when he helps significantly

Was inspired to become a hero by his idol, the Little Giant and it's his dream to inspire someone else 😭😭

Uses his replication ability to confuse the bad guys ULTIMATE DECOY

Levitates around the room when he's excited like Aang from ATLA, hahaha

Wears an orange, white and yellow suit with little wings on his heels cuuuute

☆ Kageyama Tobio ☆

Powers: water/ice generation and manipulation, breathing underwater, superhuman reflexes

I was tempted to give him fire/ice powers like Todoroki, but I didn't want to detract from Tanaka

Has problems focusing his powers, and can be quite turbulent in the heat of battle

Finds it hard to work well with others initially, but really makes an effort

Has hurt people close to him by accident before and never wants to do it again it would tear him apart

Becomes a power duo with Hinata when Ukai helps train them, even though they don't seem to get on well at first

Broody boi on the surface, but a cinnamon roll deep down

Wears a dark blue and deep purple suit that has fins to assist in underwater escapades which are his forte

Freezes Hinata's feet to the floor when he pisses him off or anybody's feet, tbh

Can dodge almost anything because of his reflexes don't ever try to punch him. You'll look stupid

Is surprised by the number of people in his fan club especially the number of women asking to marry him??

Powers: telepathy, superhuman intellect, mind control on weak-willed individuals

Prefers to outwit his enemies rather than getting into a brawl

But his self-designed gadgets and tech help him out if he has to a bit like Tony Stark, wink wonk

Sometimes makes you question if he's really a hero or not Tsukki, please

Doesn't take orders well

Baits villains by insulting them and getting the better of them with his words it's hilarious

Comes up with good plans, but improvises well with whatever he's got

Probably wears suits over his spandex most of the time fancy shmancy

Is prepared to die to protect Yamaguchi waahhh

Powers: invisibility, force fields, teleportation

Susan Storm with added teleportation, lol

Often finds it hard to value his powers because they're not as visually strong and impressive as other people's

Rather than squaring up to a battle, he often has to 'hide' from it by literally going invisible

But he gradually becomes aware of how vital his powers can be, and learns to control them and make them as advantageous as possible

Is a highly important and valued member of the team

Soft bean that gets nervous and throws up before a fight

But he's hella determined and won't back down

Honestly, just wants to protect Tsukki and make him proud PROTECT HIM

Powers: size manipulation

She can shrink and enlarge herself and objects she touches at will, including other people

Sometimes shrinks really small to avoid social situations she doesn't want to be in samez, honey

The clumsiest and least experienced on the team

But she tries her best, gradually getting to grips with her powers

Sometimes uses her powers by accident, like when she's nervous

Once touched a watermelon slice on the refreshment table and accidentally blew it up to the size of a car Hinata, Kageyama and Noya fully dug in with their faces 😭😭

Nearly passed out when Daichi, the literal god of the Hero Association, told her she had great potential

Don't worry, Yams teleported and caught her

☆ Ukai Keishin ☆

Powers: laser vision, metal mimicry

The has-been hero who lost his enthusiasm for hero-ing and retired some years ago

Was really cool back in his hayday. Big hot-shot with a fan club

Has been working as a convenience store attendant to pay the bills and is bored out of his mind but refuses to admit it

Was convinced to get back in the game when he found Hinata and Kageyama fighting, both struggling with their abilities. He broke up the fight and agreed to coach them

Doesn't do much of the flashy hero stuff anymore, but will occasionally get stuck in when he's needed must protecc his children

Is only, like, ten years older than the other heroes, but they treat him like some fossilised sensei out of Natuto, or some shit

Tbf, he has the back problems of one 😭😭

☆ Takeda Ittetsu ☆

Powers: power absorption

Transferred from being a hero to hero management after having having issues with the effects of his powers he has a conscience :(

He felt guilty and responsible for permanently taking the powers of others, even if they were criminals

It was like removing a piece of their souls it kind of broke him

These days, he makes sure nobody knows about his powers, so it can't be used against him

He helps in any other way possible

He would only use his powers again in dire circumstances he knows he'll eventually have to

Is generally chipper and good natured, though

If he was ever captured by a villain, they'd probably send him back because he talks too much omg, hahaha

Helps gather info for the team and direct them on missions and in fights

Gives bomb inspirational speeches ✊

Transformers Cyberverse final review!!;

Can’t believe we’re finally here! Hope you guys enjoy what I have to say! (warning; may contain thirst, profanity, and opinions).

Pros!!;

The Bumblebee hugs throughout the series is the most pure thing I’ve EVER seen.

Most of the character designs. This show has a style that’s fairly unique, and while some designs maybe a bit odd at first, you really let them grow on you.

The music and background noise. TFP had this case of having a music track that was very action based, but here, I found this FAR more diverse. They, like Soundwave, have music for every occasion, and I appreciate that.

The little details. The Crystal city, the fauna, little mentions of places and towns on Cybertron; they’re cute details, and I think they’re often overlooked.

MOST of the voice acting is peak. Bots like Dead end, Rack and Ruin, Skybyte, all characters that I enjoy listening to. There’s the odd ones like Strika, but hey, they can’t all be perfect.

The little nods to G1. Hot Rod mentioning ‘the touch’, the insecticons, even the five faced fucks, and I don’t even like those guys.

EVERYTHING with Soundwave and Shadowstriker. They’re peak characters that interact so well with each other, despite not interacting much at all.

The use of Maccadam. He was such a great, charming character that I was very pleased to know.

The fact that no matter how OP Starscream got, no one gave an actual shit about him. It’s a trait that’s through every series, but goddamit it, dude became a god, and everyone was like ‘so???’, and it was so fucking funny.

The team parade party. They were SUCH a unique bunch of characters, and I wished they lasted a bit longer. They are just characters that no one sees as ‘main characters’ until they take stage, and they completely rocked it.

The little changes in art style you get in flashbacks? Like for Maccadam’s flashbacks? those are GORGEOUS.

This show has GREAT humor to it, and honestly you can appreciate how easy it seems to come forth.

Cons!!;

The random episodes. I get it, it’s a huge G1 nod, and G1 was full of that, but like G1, I felt myself getting a bit bored by some redundant moments. At least they were connected in season three thanks to Windblade, but.

Bots like Wild Wheel and Thunderhowl. I like THEM, but not how they were used. They weren’t used properly, and it sucks, because they are in fact, GREAT characters in background and in personality. 

Drift. Everything about Drift.

The way that after the parade purge, they were again, cut in the middle and divided. I get it, they aren’t gonna be buddies buddies right away, mainly because Megatron is hella stubborn, but the notion of secret friendships/ relationships would’ve been great. Hell, Hot Rod and Soundwave didn’t interact on screen after the event, and that was bullshit.

How Soundwave was kinda pushed to the side. It was just odd. Soundwave was ALWAYS Megatron’s right hand, but he was shoved to the side in the series, and I don’t really understand it.

Shockwave’s end. Shockwave’s spark being thrusted onto the allspark sort of instilled this ‘decepticons are evil’ bit, and I don’t appreciate that. 

The overall hatred for the decepticons as a whole. Sure, Soundwave, Clobber, and Dead end were treated right, but the decepticons were treated as power hungry, and that’s ABOLSUTELY false. Not ONCE did they go over common discrimination against each other. Hell, the seekers on the decepticons treated the grounders more like shit on screen.

Maccadam’s end. Idk, I just personally felt like it was useless. Bro so could’ve dodged that shit.

The death cult thing. Actually, what WAS with that? It was so confusing, weird, and it should’ve been scrapped as a whole.

This show doesn’t focus on character progression too much. It’s really memes, and G1 nods.

Someone told me Megatron felt guilty for killing Starscream? if its true, it wasn’t believable 

The ending. The ending was so left field, so awfully done, I’d go as far as to say it’s even worse than RID2015′s ending.

Final verdict!!;

This series isn’t BAD, and it has enjoyable moments to it. However, it’s so focused on being like G1, that it doesn’t try to be its own unique show. So much is wasted on some details that really don’t matter, and cool characters tend to be buried in the background. However, I’ll give the show this; it was an experience.

 7/10. 

It’d be much better if they shortened their character roster, and maybe decide if they want the show to be focused on characterization, or plot, as it tends to be mish mesh between them. BUT! It was a joy to watch this with you guys <3.

Aw, thank you!  Also congrats on school, I’m gonna guess you’re at CSU so sticking to the downtown area which is going to be the easiest to get to:

The Alley Cat is a coffee place that’s got coffe, milkshakes, wifi, really cool art and is typically open until 4 AM.  Tends to get a bit crowded and it’s right over a hookah place but it’s a fun scene to go hang out.  Not quiet, don’t attempt to study there, but great for meeting new people in a place that’s not a bar.

Pizza Casbah nearby is the best pizza in fort collins but it’s run entirely by stoners so if you order delivery from there it’s going to take like.  3 hours.  best to go in and get it by the slice.

There is ALWAYS something going on at the stage in Old Town Square- bands playing, free public yoga, political protests, beer festival etc.  it’s all free to observe and half of it’s free to participate in.

Walrus Ice Cream is hella good and they also have free (non-chocolate) ice cream for dogs so if you ever want to go pets dogs there’s always dogs

Fort Collins Public Library just off old town is a chill FREE place to hang out, study or do one of the nintey zillion activities they have on offer

Northside Aztlan Community Center is a long walk or a short bike ride north of old town and it’s the best/cheapest gym in fort collins, also a great place to take hobby classes or join a sports team

Martinez Park is also just north of old town and is a really nice natural park along the river.  also lots of dogs. 

Horsetooth Resivoir/Lory State Park are great local hiking areas and they have frequent free days.  esp reccomend going in late april/early may becuase the wildflowers are amazing, but really it’s a beautiful, calm place any time of year.  You will need a car ride to get up there though.

also great hikes if you have a car: Poudre Canyon has a ton of hiking trails coming off it, and you can take highway 14 clean out to steamboat springs if you want.  Ranger Lakes State Park is just after comanche pass and small but really charming. Eagle’s Nest out by Livermore is also lovely for wildlife/wildflower veiwing, and just up the road from there is Red Feather Lakes, which is a nice place to hit in summer becuase it’s usually about 20 degrees colder up there.

Gryphon’s Games and Comics is a great Nerd Store- owner hosts tabletop and family-friendly card game nights, midnight premiers of movies are always a blast to go to, and there’s a nice coffee shop to meet other geeky people in.

the best grocery store close to CSU campus is the king soopers at timberline and elizabeth- no close-to-campus markup and it’s decently well-stocked.

If you have a place where you can cook, The Food Co-Op on Mountain by old town square is a great place for bulk local foods and organic pretty much everything.  Also a great palce to get introduced to the local farming/solarpunk scene.

Pretty much every restaurant I’ve eaten at has had delicious food, just of varying bang-for-your-buck.

Concerts aren’t really my thing but the Mishiwaka Ampitheater up the canyon on 14 has a ton of concerts right on the river so that’s cool?

If you want to chill in a nice garden and/or also get in on the locavore food scene Spring Creek Gardens is really close to campus and just a super-nice quiet place to spend an afternoon.

There’s a TON of stuff to do and it’s a really safe city so I really encourage you to wander around and sign up for anything free, it’ll be a good time.

So I've been thinking a lot about smash dlc characters so here's 6 characters I'd love to see in smash! The character I most wanted in was Banjo Kazooie so I'll be pretty satisfied with anything really but here are my picks

Sora: I think sora would fit so well in smash, his battle style is so unique with the keyblade being such a cool weapon that can transform into a buch of things with formchange and teleport back to the owner's hand when thrown. We also got the super badass drive forms and the hella edgy Anti-form that would be so cool to see implemented in his moveset. the only real thing I see holding this character back is that he's not owned by Square Enix being owned by Disney instead. Idk how would Disney react to that. Also a lot of Sora's summons are Disney characters, his keyblade has the mickey head thing so idk that could be troublesome to license well. Also he's more on Sony and Microsoft consoles rather than Nintendo but so was Cloud. Guys but he's so adorable 🥺 the way he says sorry when messing up cooking with Remy from ratatouille just breaks my heart.

Paper Mario: I feel Paper Mario is different enough from Mario to be his own character in smash.Paper Mario has a hammer, partners, the whole paper mechanic and that ability with the stars that appear again in Mario Party 5 for some reason... hm a lot to work with here. He's also completely silent unlike Mario! he'd be another flat character like Mr. Game n watch. Also, he just recently had a new game on the switch so that's a plus. I know it'd be another Mario franchise rep and people have been wanting Waluigi(let's be honest it's just to complete Wario and also cuz memes) but Paper Mario is way more unique and even has his own series of games. Keep the Waluigi-not-in-smash meme alive.

Ryu Hayabusa: Ok. Ninjas. Ninjas in smash. Nintendo we need ninjas in smash... and I'm not talking about pokemon ninjas(greninja) that doesn't count. I'm talking about actual human ninjas. Ryu first appeared on the NES with the Ninja Gaiden trilogy of games(which I never beat cuz it's hella hard) so he'd be kinda like a retro character like Simon. I say kinda because he got a reboot on the xbox later on which Slapsss. But the NES wasn't the only Nintendo console he was on, he was also on the NDS(this game was super fun like you hold the DS sideways it's greatt) and Wii U(he's back on the Switch NES online collection thing too) Now, he is primarily a sword user like so many other smash characters but Ryu is diversity incarnate this man can use sooo many other weapons like a staff, kusarigma, tonfas, bows, dual swords, bladed nunchuks, freaking wolverine CLAWS oh and a modafuckin SCYTHE. So idk they could implement different weapons like they did with Byleth or make the Dragon Sword be his homie his only weapon to keep it classy. To complement that got the usual ninja stuff like the shurikens, the kunais and the totally not op Ninjutsu. Also he his so graceful and fiercee have you seen his fighting style? His movements are so cool to look at. Like, Izuna drop. In smash. Ugh husbando. He's owned by koei tecmo the same guys that did the dinasty warrior games and the fire emblem and zelda warriors crossover of games. So they've been working really close to Nintendo recently. Although the last we've seen of Ninja Gaiden was back in 2014. But like Banjo Kazooie hasn't had a game since 2008 so it's not a big deal. (Edit: wow so Nintendo just announced Koei Tecmo is doing yet another Zelda Warriors game :D andd they're lending them assets from BotW which means Nintendo really trusts this company so Ryu getting in Smash as a representative of Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja is very very likely, probably the most likely of the list) 

Dante: Hey we have Bayo let us have Dante. He's a cool mofo, he chill he badass. What else can I say? I love his personality ahhh (reminds me of Pale a bit) but I know he's another sword character but he has GUNS and can turn into a DEMON so I think they can make him stand out enough from the others. His fighting style is so stylish and cool yes yes. I feel Nero would be super cool with his devil breaker arms too but Dante is the face of Devil May Cry. I think dmc 3 is the only game on a Nintendo console though... But who cares get this mofo in smash please

Travis Touchdown: why do I love these personality types hmm. Now he was a wii excluse for a while and most of his games were on Nintendo platforms first so plus plus. Yet another sword character oops but I mean he has a beam sword that's hella cool plus he can turn into a red TIGER. His game is a bit.. well mature, and not only on the gory side of things but there's like a lot of sexual innuendo (he looks like he's jerking off when he's charging his sword) but hey Bayonetta had her moments as well. We got a new game coming up in 2021 mhm. Anyway I wouldn't mind if he didn't got in probably just a bonus on my list.

Okami: wow I want a lot of hack n slash human characters huh let's combo break that with Amaterasu! She's a wolf, a goddess, she's so cool definitely the most unique pick out of my choices here. like her game is so one of a kind it should be in museums across the world and they should have ppl handing out free copies just so everyone can experience this art in game form. Just image the possibilities of her moveset! She was in a fighting game before and it was amazing. We need more non-human characters in smash too. Hmm it is yet another capcom rep though(we have Megaman, Ryu and Ken and I want Dante too.) But let it happen please

So that's my list for now. If any of these characters get in I'd be sooo happy!! Let's wait and see.

Could you show us the progression of your character sprite? I’ve been following for a while and it’s cool to see how far she’s come!

Agh, I’ll try to the best of my ability. Do know that I despise looking at my old icons with a burning passion, so you guys are lucky that I’m doing this.

Just a quick warning, it’s gonna be a long one, so hang tight.

Let’s start with the OG.

See this bitch?? Stage 4 baby-itis. She rocked that bisexual haircut though and y’all know it. Here, she was some 18-year-old college student who refused to talk to anyone else, besides Daniel. Sis didn’t even know she was a dhampir, let alone supernatural.

This was also my first attempt of drawing in the show’s art style. Does it suck? Yes. Did I try? Absolutely. This was long before I watched Queenie’s helpful tutorial on making not-so-time-consuming icons. I reckon you guys check it out.

I hate how CLOSE her face is. A g h.

Now, we dive into this look.

Truth be told, I was in love with Wonder Woman’s hair style in DC Superhero Girls, so that’s where I got the inspiration from. I also gave Octavia this hair style on her birthday to show that she’s healed from a certain part of my her trauma. I should’ve explained that sooner, but that’s on me.

Next, we’ve got the iconic hairstyle most of you recognize her by.

After the bit of backlash I received from the second style, I wanted to try and do a bit experimenting with her hair. Thus, I came up with this. Her hair looked boring, so I gave it a bit of style and added a bow to it.

Now this...this is where I began to really thinks bout Octavia as a character.

As many of you know, one of my favorite things about Octavia is, much like me, she likes to test and bend the rules to her liking. She grew up with some hella strict parents that refused to let her show any bit of skin and for quite some time, she had major body image issues because of it. However, she eventually learned to love herself and that her body wasn’t inherently bad, so she wanted to show the world that she’s comfortable in her own skin and wears whatever she feels like wearing. She doesn’t wear her outfits to “get attention,” she wears them because it’s what she’s comfortable with; this is her way of expressing herself.

Here, I wanted to design an outfit that said that, and I did. The icons aren’t zoomed in (she finally learned personal space lmao) and they’re more expressive. I was doing a bit of experimenting here before I picked up on the method of icon-making I have now. I even made some minor adjustments to her face; the tattoo on her cheek being a prime example. Notice how saturated it was in her early icons? I toned it down. You’re welcome.

Let’s move onto this one.

This one is gonna be a bit shorter.

This took place in December, if I recall correctly. Behind the scenes, I was experimenting with Octavia’s hair, because I wanted to see what she’d look like with streaks in her hair. If you saw the sheet I made with different colors, you’d know there were a LOT; I had red, I had purple, I had blue. You name the color, I probably tried it out.

I was close to being set on light blonde, but decided to go with white instead.

If you really know me, either IRL or personally, you’d know that I have some pretty fuckin’ dark hair.

I wanted to give that dark hair to Octavia.

I was curious to see what she’d look like with her hair color being similar to mine, so I tested it out, and immediately fell in love with it. Of course, with her hair being darker, I had to readjusted the color of her eyes too make them cooler.

With this look, and at least, in my opinion, she gives off the vibe that she’s goth. It fit the overall aesthetic better, because the gothic style is all about cool and dark colors. A lot of people in the past used to think Octavia was wearing lipstick due to the shade of pink I used, so I made her lip color look more “natural.”

I’m sorry to those who were convinced that she was wearing lipstick. That was my fault.

Here, you can tell that I watched Queenie’s icon tutorial.

Drawing in the show’s art style is a fucking nightmare, and I admire those who can replicate so well that it’s scary.

Again, another science experiment. I wanted to get back into the swing of drawing in my own art style and wanted to try something new. As you can style, I took quite the amount of inspiration from the anime style, but added my own spices to the mix.

This brings us to her current design: Momtavia!

For those who aren’t aware, Octavia’s pregnant. That being said, I wanted to give her a look that said “soft mom who will give you cookies and comfort you, but will not hesitate to roundhouse kick a mf into the sun.” I think I did a pretty good job.

Now, the process itself was super tough, I’ll admit it. I went through a lot of trial and error, but I’m happy with the final result. I gave her a more mature look, and made her left eye (her left, your right) a more amber color to give off the idea that yes, this is the daughter of Penelope Priss. I got the outfit inspiration from Jinx (Teen Titans) and the hairstyle from Elsa’s final look in Frozen 2. However, her hair looked boring without the bow, so I went on Pinterest to get some hairstyle ideas. That’s when I stumbled across a M/HA meme captioned “bad bitches only ft this hairstyle.” The moment I saw Nana Shimura’s cute little hair bun, I immediately thought “holy shit, OP’s right.” After I added the little braids on the side, I was satisfied.

At this point, the white in her hair isn’t dye anymore; it’s natural. This is due to the fact that she’s the daughter of Dracula (my version, anyway). Everyone on her father’s side of the family gets some white streak in their hair as a “coming-of-age” thing, including wings. She has yet to figure out she has any, but that’s for another time.

✨🐥A part-timer in art team shared some behind the scene film of “WANT” MV

OP: I once worked as a part-time job for an art team that’s responsible for Iz*one / (G)-Idle / TAEMIN WANT / Chungha / WSJN etc... the set that appeared for 2-3 secs on the music video was made with detail and hardwork. Ex: curtain & spider web

The curtain was made with a massive fabrics, actually there was no ornament on it but since the director wants it, the art team worked on that ornament the day right before they shoot the MV. It’s so tall its like three times Taemin’s height.

The next thing that’s hella difficult is the spider web stage. It was in the middle of winter, but we had to connect a lot of threads evenly to a huge rod. After raising the rod, we tied it back and forth and cut it again with scissors to make a spider web....

Thanks to that, a cool scene came out of it. Taemin dance on that small space made from glass. I’m the one who’s scared because I thought he might slipped

This scene is quite a shame... that blue fabric is so so pretty but since they use a steam(?) it didn’t showed at all (...) the right picture is an image I save during the shot.

This scene from Taemin’s WANT mv was shot at a wedding hall. The aisle used as a stage and that’s where Taemin stood and dance.

Not 3D, that’s a real snake. cause it’s winter, an Unnie (older sister) & I kept the snake warm in front of a fireplace. When I put it on Taemin I used gloves & cried inside. I subconsciously made noise but Taemin didn’t even bat an eye..problem is it kept going to the floor & it cause many cuts.

Personally, the coolest set. The basic construction and space was made by some carpenters few days before then the art team came the next day to set the lighting and props. That wood in the middle is a really really expensive dude.

Actually in that bathtub there were fabrics and warm water (but as the shooting began it went cold & I felt sorry for him), also rain was falling but the scene only appeared for a few seconds haha.....

Personally, a funny behind story is where the magnifying glasses supposed to go down one by one, on the right & left side there are people who hold that and lower it at their own timing. Probably shot that for six times

Because I worked as the youngest of the art team... I don't contribute much, and I worked almost as a learner. But we really made those props one by one. That magnifier was made with mic props, we fixed it & paint it individually. We paint on the white floor too. 

Because fans see this thread... what I remember was everytime there was a cut after Taemin’s solo dance, the staff, director, everyone just sent applause to Taemin. I worked for other idols’ MVs as well but Taemin really outstandingly did well. I remember he bought Samgyetang(ginseng chicken soup), 1 chicken per person, for us. I clearly know it wasn’t a food truck sent by somebody but I heard it briefly when I ate it that Taemin is the one who payed for it. 

And also, Taemin shot his album jacket pictures in the midst of MV shooting. He just shot it next to the MV set. (OP thought it’d be use as photocard/instagram post but when the picture came out she’s very shocked of the outcome, bcs he shot it just somewhere around the stage)

Since the scale of the stage and art detail was well made, Taemin also did well on his acting and dance. MV shooting ended in just 3 days. Honestly the last shot was at the wedding hall, at dawn but we played rock paper scissor and left work early except an unnie who loses.

Art team has to work for all stages before d-day and also in the midst of shooting we keep on working for other stage, craziest thing is we also need to clean it all up...really.

Idon’t upload other picture in case fans are uncomfortable by it, but I never tell this story before even tho SM mostly never made us sign a contract to keep things in secret^^...

i got very ‘poetic’ in the ‘a little further’ portion of the app and described her as a trophy in my first bullet point… so there you have it! you see, no matter what she did, she was always only praised for her appearance. just a trophy!!

she was born (in taunwick) to a very successful politician and her trophy husband. therefore, she spent much of her time alone as her mother was busy campaigning or throwing galas while her father, her mother’s trophy husband, went along for the ride. 

there were very few times they spent any ‘quality time’ together – picture what i think was the first scene (one of!) in mommie dearest where joan crawford is turning her daughter’s birthday into a photo op. that was pretty much their definition of quality family time. it could be successfully argued that april’s mother figures all came in the form of nannies.

it could also be successfully argued that, unlike lionel, april is part of the daddy issues™ club. as will be very evident afhdliuwdsjn

in spite of having become marginally more introspective than she was in high-school… she still doesn’t recognize her daddy issues :\

they got married. in spite of it being beautiful and expensive and gaudy, she really didn’t feel anything?? was lowkey GLAD her parents weren’t there (and not in the angsty ‘they never show up to anything anyway :\’ way, in the ‘this is literally wasting everyone’s time’ way). their marriage started and continued as a very unfulfilling one. he, in perfect politician style, began having affairs exactly as she, in perfect april style, began having affairs. while they never directly spoke of them, they knew the other was involved with other people.

why april didn’t divorce him is an excellent question. is it out of a certain selflessness, not wanting to do any damage to his career?? is it out of selfishness, not wanting to lose that sugar daddy?? a little bit of both. probably more the latter tho!!

anyway!! her father finally divorced her mother and she was like “i’m…. gonna say i’m gonna go be a good daughter…. go comfort my mother in this trying time….. but jk i j wanna get away from my husband lmao”

again, barely knows her mother. learned various different languages so she could have fair conversations with the foreign nannies.

but….. he has a reputation to keep up!! and his wife straight-up disappearing and leaving him would be 100x worse than a divorce…. so here he comes!! to save the day!! and his reputation!!

as you can imagine, between her husband figuring out her real motive + her…. barely liking her mother, she would be inclined to return to nyc… but that’s where harley’s murder will come in!! the perfect crime!! literally!!
