We celebrated my 40th birthday, the other day with my closest family and friendships. It's amazing when you sit down to think of the people who have surrounded you during the last decade of your life. My loving family first because we have been building on our love story for the last 8 years. Of course the family I was born into is there always. The friendships that have been there through thick & thin.

It's so surreal to look back and see all the people who have come, gone and moved in and out of my life. There are certain relationships that have stayed at acquaintance or have been close at one time and then we have just remained online friends. Friendships like relationships require give and take from both sides. Any healthy relationship goes both ways.

So in true to my word fashion, I accompanied one of my closest friends to a surgical appointment out of town. I had to explain to my daughter that it is important to be a support system to the people that love you and need help. Also I will be teaching her how to protect herself from people who only take and do not ever give. She has a lot to learn on her own that I can only pray to be here for.

The birthday party was so beautiful and relaxing. I got to see my baby girl score her first goal and also play for the other team as a true altruistic little person she's becoming. I am so proud of her actions. I celebrate everyday that I am granted to see this life unfold.

Thank you to my sister Raquel for hosting my party and helping me welcome my special guests of the night. Everyone seemed to have a good time and enjoy each other. I am extremely blessed and eternally grateful. Here is to a beautiful future and all the wonderful memories made throughout these glorious 40 years of life!

it's a bit random but. today, there's a man who sat across me in the jeepney and he reminds me of crux. idk why but maybe it's because of the green jacket he's wearing or it's because the jeepney smelled like cigarettes from the moment he went in.

Tbh, this is the vibe, LOL.

I also went to Hippiefest once, and it was crazy how many long hair anemic men wearing thrift clothes and green thrift clothing were there. He's really such a Specific species of guy.
