THIA I ABSOLUTELY ADORE YOU. I'm about to talk so fucking much. So I loaded some classification things into a randomizer and used one for each character

let's do this

Magnus (Windverse/LoA) - Animal

If you asked other people what animal Magnus is, they'd say a panther, something intimidating and powerful, yet elegant and reserved.

But if you asked Magnus himself, well first he'd refuse to answer because he'd think the question is ridiculous, but then he'd say an owl because they're known as clever and tend to represent wisdom, which is the piece of himself he's put so much value in and relied on his whole life.

However, I've always associated Magnus with butterflies, specifically blue butterflies. Butterflies obviously represent change and rebirth which Magnus has done multiple times, breaking free from his old life for a new one and becoming someone new. But blue butterflies also represent joy and love, and the love of others (both platonic and romantic) and Magnus's own love are what showed him the joy in life and let him become one more version of himself: a happy one.

Apollo (The Elementalists) - Flower

If you asked most other people what kind of flower Apollo would be, they'd say a sunflower for pretty obvious reasons. Apollo is bright, kind, and passionate, and I mean. It's literally called a sunflower. It's very surface level but unfortunately most peoples' view of Apollo is very surface level.

If you asked Apollo what kind of flower he'd be, honestly he'd probably say a sunflower at first too, but if he thought about it for a second, he would say a hibiscus. Hibiscus flowers are bright and colorful and grow tall in warm climates. But they need sun to to bloom and even then only bloom for a day, closing again by night which is exactly how Apollo sees himself. Without his sun attunement, aka his power, he would be nothing. To go even further, when people look at him he's bright and beautiful but as soon as he's alone he's terrified and sad and stressed.

For my assessment, I'd say a lotus flower. I may be biased because it's my second favorite flower but Lotus's bloom up through muddy water and still come up beautiful which is exactly what Apollo did (symbolically at least). He was hunted by Raife from the moment he was born, had his memories erased and childhood stole, lost his parents, was lied to his entire life and was raised without magic and his twin, finally found somewhere he felt he belonged only to be hunted again, nearly lost his friend and almost died, then he was accosted by Kane and tortured, then (in my version of canon) ended up losing his mentor and hunted by his own people. But he came out of it beautiful and bright

Kieran (BG3 Durge) - Element

Most people when asked would definitely say Kieran is fire. Dangerous, unpredictable, (hot-) and passionate, maybe warm, but destructive.

If you ask Kieran themself, they may also say fire honestly, for the same reasons as every one else. But if you find them in a nicer mood they might say earth. Dark caves and sharp things but equally full of life and beauty. Something determined and strong.

But I would say water because more than anything Kieran is adaptable, no matter what situation they end up in, no matter who they're with who what they're facing, they always end up on top. More than that, Kieran just has this deep sadness within them that is best reflected in water. Water is also a symbol of transformation and healing which is a summary of Kieran's entire arc. Even better, it's what he evokes in so many of the people around him, not just themself.

AND was like telling her off and Jamie tried to calm them down but the looked at him pissed and was like "I SAW A STUPID F**KING ROBOT THINGY LANCH ON YOU'RE FACE NO I AM NOT GONNA CALM DOWN-"

Summary: As Jaime's little sister, you've had a hard time adjusting to how different everything is now. During a family movie night, your built-up resentment towards Jenny comes out. Which causes a fight between you and Jaime.

Things at home have been more lively ever since Jaime came from school. How could it not when he was now Blue Beetle? Everyone in the family seemed to be around more, which you really enjoyed. Even though Jaime is back home, he’s been so busy with his new identity and Jenny. She was over a lot and ever since everything happened everyone treated her like family. You were nice to her but deep down you had feelings of resentment. You didn’t voice this thought because you didn’t want to rock the boat while everyone was healing from Dad’s death. Everyone had a lot on their plate and you didn’t want to give anyone unneeded stress due to drama. Instead, you just tried to enjoy the time you had with Jaime. As siblings, you guys have always been really close but obviously, distance did nothing but change that. You tried to tell yourself that as you get older the bond would change but not so soon. Right now you were on the bus home from school, excited because Milagro, Jaime, and you were going to watch the new Disney movie Elementals together. When you guys were younger this was a weekly tradition. As everyone got older and busier this fizzled out but you were so excited that everyone was back on board. Last night the three of you went out and bought a bunch of snacks and drinks. You practically ran home from the bus stop and to your surprise, nobody was home yet. Dropping your backpack near the front door, you went upstairs and grabbed a couple of blankets from the hall closet. Layer them on the couch to make them more comfy, adding some of the plushies off your bed.

After arranging the couch, you went and showered. You ran the mile in P.E. today and felt sticky from sweat. Changing into sweatpants and a tee-shirt, you walked into the dining room still drying your hair with a towel. Everyone was home, Milagro was pulling cookies out of the oven and Jaime came in behind you with three boxes of pizza. When you turned around to give him a hug, you saw Jenny who was standing two feet away from him. She gave everyone including you a hug, talking about how excited she was to have a movie night with everyone. This irritated you, especially because this was the first time doing a family night since Dad died. Just seemed insensitive for her to be here right now. You just smiled and got yourself a plate of pizza and wings before getting comfortable in your spot. It was taking a while for everyone to sit down, most of them were just talking in the kitchen but eventually made their way out. Jaime, Jenny, and Milagro were sitting on the couch and you were sitting on the couch and you were sitting with your back against the couch by their feet. Once the movie started, everything was going fine until Jaime and Jenny started whispering to each other. Laughing and giggling with each other. It was driving you crazy and when you checked to see if your other sister was as annoyed as she was on her phone. Really gave you a reality check there because you thought this meant as much to them as it did to you. You sighed and leaned back, you had about as much as you could handle. Suddenly, Jenny’s phone rings.

“Babe, will you come with me to take this call?” Jenny asked.

“Yeah, hey y/n we’ll be right back,” he said.

“Whatever I didn’t want to do this movie night anyway,” you said, setting your plate on the coffee table.

“Woah, are you okay?” he asked, now everyone was staring at you.

“Yeah, are you? Or do you need to ask Jenny before you answer?” you asked sarcastically.

“Oh my god, y/n chill out,” Milagro said.

“No why should I, this was the first time we did a movie night since Dad died and you invited her? That’s just so fucking weird and the entire time you guys are laughing and giggling during the movie. Just weird considering she’s the reason he’s gone,” you scoffed.

“What the fuck y/n you can’t say things like that. Especially because it’s not her fault!” Jaime yelled at you, pointing his finger.

“Are you kidding me? Is it not her fault?! He died because of the stress of you becoming Blue Beetle and who gave you the beetle? Jenny,” you said, raising your voice to match his tone, “Not to mention it’s hard on everyone in the family now because of that stupid thing. It was traumatizing to watch the bug literally embedded itself into your skin. That’s not normal and for some reason everyone acts like nothing really happened. She’s the one who started all this yet she’s welcomed here like she’s an honored guest or something,” you said standing up.

“I’m so sorry you feel this way y/n, it was never my intention-” Jenny started but you shut her down pretty fast.

“Can you please like, never fucking talk to me especially right now?” you sneered at her.

“Y/N what the fuck! You can’t blame everything going wrong in your life on her, okay!” Jaimed exclaimed.

Nobody said anything, instead they just started as if they never knew you had a voice or something. You grabbed your phone and stormed off. The last thing you wanted to do was spend any more time with them. You grabbed your skateboard and rode down to the park semi near your house. You cried a little on your way down there, you just couldn’t believe Jaime would take her side over yours. As if her feelings are more valid than yours. Maybe the way it came out was wrong but what you were saying at its core was true. Once you got to the park you saw your friend Scorpy sitting underneath the play set. When they saw you, they started calling out for you to join them. You wiped your eyes and picked up your board. As you walked over to them, your phone started blowing. Calling from your family asking you where you went, you set it to not disturb and shove it into your pocket.

“Hey y/n, are you okay?” she asked.

“Yeah me and my brother just got into a fight over his girlfriend but I don’t really want to get into all the details,” you said sitting down next to her.

“I get it, families can get messy,” she said, taking a large hit out of her pen.

“Do you wanna hit to calm down?” she asked. You stared at the pen and looked at her as if she was fucking with you. You grabbed it and took a hit but ended up coughing your brains out, which made her laugh.

You didn’t go crazy on the pen because you still wanted to talk to Jaime when you got home. Now that you’ve calmed down you realize that obviously you shouldn’t have blown up on them at that moment. You could have talked to them privately and communicated your feelings. You thought about what you were going to say the entire time you rode home. It was dark now and you knew everyone was going to be worried and maybe mad. You stood in front of the door for a couple moments, scared to face everyone. When you walked in, your mom rushed over to you and gave you a slap on the arm for being gone so long. She was understanding that you needed some time to cool off but she was just worried. You went into your room and Jaime was sitting on the bed. This may sound petty but you were happy that Jenny was nowhere in sight.

“I’m sorry for blowing up on her like that,” you said, playing with your finger nails.

“If you were feeling that way why wouldn’t you just tell me?” he asked, motioning over for you to sit down.

“I don’t know, I guess I was just feeling insecure because ever since you got back from school you’ve been hanging out with her. I’m happy that you have a girlfriend and a life outside the family but I don’t know, I thought we’d hang out more than we have. Also she is the one who gave the Blue Beetle to you right?” you asked the last part more quietly than you said the rest.

“Well I’m glad I know that now, so I can carve out more time for you. I think we both have valid feelings, we just needed to see them from a different perspective to understand exactly how we feel. I didn’t mean to yell at you like that, I'm sorry. And yes Jenny gave me the beetle but that doesn’t mean she’s the reason for..that.” he said softly.

“Yeah I do think maybe that was me projecting a bit, I’m sorry I ruined the movie night,” you sighed.

“Everything happens for a reason kid,” he said as you guys got up to finish the movie.

Your sarian dragon au is so interesting! I don't know if this has already been asked and answered but how does the naming stuff work? As in on Karl's ref it says "aka crystal Oracle" or for foolish it's "aka fools gold"

They actually haven't been explained yet! The titles are given to the dragons by their flight sometime after they receive their god claim. It's a coming-of-age type thing that shows they have found their place within their flight, but exactly how and when they're given differs between flights.

A dragon has to grow into their new magic and learn how to use it before a title is given, as the name is usually a reference to their magical abilities or their occupation within the flight. Sometimes it's the parents' duty to give them the title, in other cases it's the flight's leader or elders, other times the whole flight may starts calling them something that just ends up sticking, and in some cases a dragon might even proclaim their own title.

Should a dragon lose or leave their flight they can decide to keep their title or discard it. If they join a new flight its pretty common for them to let their new flightmates give them a new one once they get to know them as a sign of acceptance into their new family.

So here are the current titles:

Bad "Crimson Severant" - named by his elders with both his magic and occupation in mind. The magic colour of carnage magic being a deep crimson and Bad being tasked to be a devoted follower of the carnage god, the Maid of Bones.

Foolish "Fool's Gold" - named by his elders due to his magic abilities. Foolish isn't naturally a nature dragon, first and foremost being a water elemental, and he can only use nature magic thanks to his amulet. Magic items are tricky tho and Foolish can't heal or create plant life out of nothing, he can simply move, store, and use those properties. This essentially makes his healing abilities "fake" as he has to drain life to create it. So while he might seem like a bountiful treasure, able to give life and create lush green areas, it's all just a fake facade. He's a fake healer, a fake treasure, a fool's gold.

Karl "Crystal Oracel" - named by his elders due to his magic and occupation. Arcane magic is pure energy and the magic is often used to create magic objects and constructs. Karl particularly likes to make his magic look like crystals and his task in his flight is that of an oracle.

Skeppy "Diamond Shield" - named by his flight due to his magic abilities. Thanks to his diamond-like scales Skeppy is able to withstand quite powerful blows and will use this to his advantage when protecting his flightmates, easily dashing between enemies and allies to act like a shield.

Punz "Storm Chaser" - named by his flight due to his magic abilities. Punz is able to sense incoming storms due to being a lightning elemental and will more often than not take the chance to fly in them. This can be both to charge up his magic or to safely expel built-up magic, but also just because he likes the challenge of flying in rough winds and likes to take the chance to improve his aerial maneuvers.

Sapnap "Feral Inferno" - named by his flight due to his magic abilities and fighting style. Sapnap has the ability to light his scales on fire if he has a lot of pent up magic in his body. The ability is short lived, usually resulting in his fighting style becoming less precise and more feral to quickly land damaging hits with his flame scales while he can.

Sam and Boomer also have titles but I haven't completely decided on them yet! Sam is most likely going to have Architect in his and I might go for Frog Whisperer for Boomer unless I can think of something else XD

Headcanons and ideas for a ATLA X OP crossover aka bending pirates.

Ok first Luffy won being the avatar by the only virtue of being the protagonist, and the fact I was between two elements and could not decide which idea I liked more.

Others characters I thought for the role even if momentarily were: Ussop, Ace, Law, Shirahoshi, Nami, and Yamato. The explanation varies a lot between “the potential for either surprise and realized potential” to “idgaf these seem cool” Ussop is both.

Like I wanted to say that Ussop would be a great avatar but alas not in this version. But if someone want to brainstorm avatar Ussop please do.

Ok, so everyone assumed Luffy is an earth bender, he grew up in a predominantly earth bender place and Dragon is one (I have not decided if Garp is one or if he is a non-bender)

Luffy sucks at earth bending tho, mostly he just used for fidgeting, levitating a few peddles. does not rely in it for fighting, as always, his fits are all he needs.

Little does everyone know, let alone Luffy, that the first element he mastered was air. He is SOOO good at air bending that he has 0 idea he is using it. Like sure, his falls always got a little slower down and Nami could swear that when he got exited the ship seemed to go a little bit faster.

Like you know that nice sleepy breeze on the afternoon? Yeah Luffy invoke it every time without noticing.

I especially head canon this cause Luffy remind me of both tarot cards of “the fool” and “the word” and his carefree but somehow connected attitude is a cool dialogue with the earthy and spiritual connections and freedom to attachment the air nomads remind me of.

But you know…cause of freedom.

Ok so Zoro is either a non-bender or an earth ender.

Nami is a water bending but did not know until already being established in the crew.

Ussop was a difficult one to pinpoint, but I decided earth and can metal bend.

Sanji either fire or non-bender, maybe his family can all fire bend except him or all his brothers can each control an element. I can imagine Judge trying to create an artificial avatar and ending with quadruplets.

Maybe an spirit(?) a very very young one. If he had the capacity to bend he would be a water bender but come on.

Robin is a non bender. Guys she would be to powerful. ( or we could think how the government villainize her for being a fire bender that would be cool too)

Franky and brook non benders

Oh, I wonder what Jinbei might be. Yeah, the guy who canonicly controls water by using martial arts? Geez I wonder what parallel between the avatar power system we could use to pin him down?

The point is Everyone was surprise when Luffy used fire bending for the first time. Like the implications when off the charts!

You mean that Luffy has controlled a second element? But that would mean he is the avatar? And sure he is a miracle worker but this? Surely someone would have to notice that was something he could do?

Not even his brothers? Both of them being able to fire bend? Surely Luffy would have pick up something of that up? Well no

Luffy being the avatar is his Gear five revelation btw

I could go to a rant about how water is the element of healing and change, how this change is the result of lost, how community is important in the water tribes. And how is the element that In Atla we seem to have the greatest possibilities. Also ice /cold coded but but but… come on! the dude is named water of course Law is a water bender I would not even bother.

Doffy taught him how to blood bend :) Is Doffy even a water bender?

Returning to Luffy his fire burn to bright that it is white. Also, the little shit. DO.NOT.BURN. no body knows how he does that, but new fireproof avatar technique unlocked.

Robin theory is Luffy is so good at air bending that he even if not concius about it, he controls the manner of how the fire is being feed by the air around it and that also why it seems to burn so bright.

She has not said it out loud, nobody has asked.

If someone asked it would probably be Ussop and she would say something along the lines of their captains always being a cough aways of burning alive.

Ok but imaging Zoro actually noticing Luffy is the Avatar since East blue and not saying anything because it did not seemed relevant.

Luffy is Luffy that is all to said in the matter.

Of course, he knew, Luffy provided a great afternoon breeze for naps.

Anyway he learned water bending from Nami and Jimbei and his only problem was actually sitting down enough to listen to the lesson

You guys have no idea how much luffy is proposing actually learning to earth bend for real.

Instructions unclear he turned a rock into a non-Newtonian fluid.

Closer to inventing alchemy that actually learn Earth bending.

much ado about the wondertart

aka: buckle up this is a longass post

So, the DLC’s ending wraps things up nicely, but one huge question remains: why exactly did Saltbaker try to seize the Wondertart for himself? The lyrics to “A Chef’s Coda” imply that he was temporarily blinded by the temptation of godlike power; the only hint we get for what he expected to do with that power is the defeat quote “Your futile efforts were in vain, this world will be my salt domain.” If Saltbaker didn’t have a full plan laid out, then what possessed him to set the events of the DLC in motion?

The characterization that we get of Saltbaker (across the game, comics, and the book "Cuphead in Carnival Chaos: A Cuphead Novel" by Ron Bates) portrays him as a major perfectionist and a genius in his field.

So with that in mind, here’s what I think happened leading up to the DLC:

It has to start with "how and why does this (relatively) ordinary man know magic?" It's notable even in a setting as wild and cartoonish as the Inkwell Isles. I like to think that some of it is innate ability, specifically the ability to open astral portals (and summon kitchen utensils through them) but anything past that (i.e. the mushroom that triggers his second phase) would be a result of study & practice. He has a whole lab setup in that basement, after all. And why would he start dabbling in magic in the first place? Well, I see him as something of a kitchen witch. His primary passion is baking, so a logical extension of his abilities might be healing magic or similar.

I could see him agreeing to help Chalice with honest intentions at first. Of course he can create a treat to bring her back to life, he's the absolute best at what he does! It'd be a cinch! So he throws himself into his work in typical Saltbaker perfectionist fashion. Modifying recipes he knows, trying ingredient after ingredient after ingredient in the hopes that some of them are worthy of the ultimate treat. Crafting new recipes wholesale. Poring over ancient tomes to find some clue, any clue, that can help him unlock this mystery.

He finds it, and wishes he didn't: only a living soul can complete the Wondertart, because necromancy always comes at a price. Desperate and unwilling to admit it to Chalice, he tries to substitute this terrible element with literally anything else. All of his attempts fall flatter than a collapsed souffle. All of this, on top of the business that he has to run daily. Our dear chef does not take failure well. He grows restless, frustrated, and more resentful of Chalice by the day. Why should this long-dead ghost demand such a prize from him? Of course, this is all in his own head. If he'd just told Chalice of his fruitless efforts, she would have understood entirely. But he can't, or thinks he can't, because he is the greatest chef in the land, and he likes to feel needed even by people he dislikes, and he has already put in immeasurable time & effort into creating that Wondertart, and HE WILL SEE IT TO COMPLETION COME HELL OR HIGH WATER.

So he puts on his best smile, and gives Chalice his sweetest reassurances, and begins the finishing touches for his magnum opus.

This is a summary for the recent Winx club Sona AU I made. If you want to check it out: here's the link to the post:

So to summarize and some things to explain:

There are four dragons, each having his/her own element. All of them combined their magic to create light magic, and cus the ancestral witches were born, followed by light being it's opposite, dark magic was created as well.

By having base/main elements (fire, water earth sky, light and dark), wizards, witches and fairies draw their magic from a different source.

That means Flora draws her magic from the Earth drake, Aisha from the water leviathan, witches from the ancestral witches, Musa and Tecna from the Sky wyvern.

Of course 'regular' people that can wield magic have no connection to the main sources (of course there are exceptions like Bloom, the Trix, Valtor, etc)

And before you ask me "Why Musa and Tecna from sky magic? That makes no sense!".

It actually does:

What happens if you walk through the forest when it's windy? The leaves rustle and make noise. What do you need to use a flute for example? Your breath. Air and wind can make noise as well, creating a melody or their own sound.

And techno magic is TECNA-cally (⁠・⁠∀⁠・⁠) a form of Electro magic. So there ya go.

Light and dark magic is a little different tho. Since it's basically a 'mix' from all the dragons powers, and dark magic is the same, just corrupted. Light/dark magic isn't present in everyone, but everyone that can use magic can learn it, that's why fairies can become dark fairies or witches become light witches.

And about dark magic: just cus it's originally created from the Ancestral witches, it doesn't automatically mean it has to be evil. Telepathy or telekinesis is a form of Psychic magic aka dark magic. Everyone uses it, and it's not evil. The Winx used dark magic in season 2, they are still fine. And Mirta uses dark magic as well, she's not evil.

In some cases, the concentration of dark or light magic is more present in others. Faragonda, Avalon, Darcy and Acheron are good examples. (Icy, Stormy and Valtor aren't on it cus they have elemental power and learned about dark magic. This doesn't mean that they are weaker or stronger, they still have dark magic, but it's just not as present as Darcy who can't use any elements. I also didn't list the Wizards of the black circle since I'm planning to change their powers)

Each dragon also has a 'sub' element, like secondary powers:

Fire has the power of healing and destruction

Sky has spiritual and cosmic powers

Earth has the power of Life and death

Water can control blood and Chi (not in a spiritual meaning, but to become one with your own body since we are made out of 80% water, hope that kinda makes sense)

When it comes to natural opposites

Sky and earth

Fire and water

Light and Darkness

The ancestral witches:

Are the origin of all Darkness (yes ik some say it's Darkar but he's weak af)

So the witches and the Sky wyvern created Darkar from a piece of the dragon flame that they stole

This makes Darkar the fire dragons second natural opposite along with the waterstars

Not only that: when the witches and the wyvern took a part of the flame, a small piece fell into darkness. As the witches fled from the dragons, they found that piece, creating Valtor.

Just like the light fairy, they looked out for others that can harness magic and reached them the ways of dark magic

I would also like to mention that the legend of the four dragons has been forgotten over time. Most people only think that the Great dragon is the only one that existed, and the ones that do know the legend think it's just a myth.

I am making the worst conglomerate Movieverse AU.

Weird stuff happens on all ends and six Ninja from different universes are dropped into the Movieverse and tasked with figuring out a bigger issue or else their timelines will be destroyed and they will forever be trapped in the Movieverse. :]

Himbo Jay - nicknamed Pops aka "Edgar"

His current timeline is set between the Ice Chapter and Prime Empire. He's a father of three and is the only adult of the group at 23. He is the "leader" since his main concern is to look after the others and make sure they don't die.

Ostrich Prince Cole - nicknamed Fluff aka "Jasper"

His current timeline is set right after Tournament of Elements. Born a normal child but cursed after fighting a drunk wizard to become an ostrich. His curse is only lifted at night on the Full Moon and two nights after. 16 years old. Seen as the protector cause his legs can mutilate a fool.

Bby Dragon Lloyd - nicknamed Wings aka "Wally"

His current timeline is after Master of the Mountain. Since he's now 15, he regained enough power to regain his human form but can still take form as a dragon the size of a truck. The spy of the group since he's deemed harmless at first glance.

Clown Kai - nicknamed Tumble aka "Frisk"

He's not actually a clown, he was part of a circus as a fire dancer and street preforms for money. Currently in Legacy of the Green Ninja. 17 years old. The defense of the group as his clowning skills can distract and sabotage Garmadon's army.

Color Swap Zane - nicknamed Pastel aka "Pat"

Current timeline set between Skybound and Hands of Time. About 17 years old. A pink fairy is as weird as a white nindroid and his bubbly personality is hard to get a grip on. The support of the group thanks to their magical abilities to heal.

Mythic Nya - nicknamed Wave aka "Finn"

A mermaid with no clear timeline. Currently the second oldest at 20 years old. Since she has no way of becoming human, she spends a lot of her time traversing the water to update the SNF and the Multi Squad on Garmadon's ocean activity. The informant of the group due to also being able to catch local talk/info from the beach.

My honest opinion on what Ang should have done after the atla war, and this is probably my hc too,

1) i think Ang should have left the world the moment zuko, and other two nation were stable,

2) i think Ang should never have had a fanclubs or acolyte they just feel cheap and a waste of human life,

3) Ang never should have reciprocated katara feeling at the End, he realize hes got to much on his plate so has to do this on his own, im sorry kataanger, but the boy is on a new level, and he needs time to learn grow with this power, (aka Energy bending), so no girlfriend , no gang, just him appa and momo, unless katara say screw you I'm coming and they build there relationships on the road, but I still think she better off serving her people, and let Ang be for now, Ang will always love her til his last breath but he got to do something,

4) Ang from 12 to 21 should have been spent in cold blooded training and deep meditation and sadhana, he should have settle down on some cold mountain for 21 years just him and his practice, should let appa and momo free for a time to find other bison and lemor,

5) Ang once he's 21 should already be physically power and spiritually stable, well balance with each of the elements and is an expert or master in energy bending, and knows the spirit world inside and out,

6) Ang should go from village to village leaving small pockets of energy bender and practice to people, and walk to every town, village, kingdom spreading small seeds of energy bending,

7) Ang should create energy temple for people in each village, to help them become better at energy bending, healing, meditation, or learning,

8) Ang should download the Avatar memories of martial arts, music, wisdom, knowledge, healing experience, into an energy seeds and place those seeds in the temple so people can learn from all the past Avatar life,

9) Ang should live with a boundless identity, not just Air nomad, by doing this he is free from the suffering of the past of his people,

10) Ang should eliminate all the dai li by using the white lotus and as the Avatar order there disbandment, take there bending away for all the torture and mind manipulation on the people of ba sing sei,

11) Ang and the white lotus should eliminate every last southern raiders,

12) Ang should go to republic city, and set up a energy temple, and use it as his base of operation, people from all ova the world from the places he left powerful energy, come to spend time with him, and later became a devotee and a follower of the NEW bending art, And later known as a new nation, these bender will one day energy bend the Air nation back into the world, putting the world in balance,

I read one of your responses about SJM's worldbuilding and structure of magic and I agree that it's very messy. What exactly is cardinal magic? How is it different from other magic?

Typically, you have intrinsic/elemental magic and cardinal magic.

So for example, in SJM's world, all High Lords would have their 'special' magic which is specific to them, or to their kind. So with Rhys, it would be the manipulation of night/darkness, with Tarquin, it would be water magic, with Helion, I suppose it would be fire/light, with Kallian, I guess, it would be cold/frost. Beron and Tamlin are unclear and I don't really understand what their elemental magic is.

In other books, we had Aelin with Fire and Rowan with wind.

Furthermore, we assume from what Lucien said and from what we saw during the war, that all HLs have a beast inside of them, that they can unleash.

Rhys also has his daemati powers, which are specific to him.

All HLs would be able to winnow any distance. All would have 'innate dominance' which they could use to force others to heel or to do their bidding.

Cardinal magic is usually 'learned' magic--aka, it's an ability that technically all Fae should have, but it's not intrinsic to them and requires learning. That would typically include any kind of healing (I would assume that the more powerful you are, the better healer you are), invisibility, object manipulation and spells. So when Amarantha stole the book of spells from the King, that's how she managed to weaken and lock away all of the High Lords' magic.

It gets messy with SJM when she doesn't define what High Fael vs Lesser Fae vs High Lords can do, and what is elemental. We don't know if all High Fae have some kind of elemental magic to them, and what it might be. Like is glamour something all high Fae can do? or is it cardinal magic, which they learned? So when Lucien glamoured Feyre, and even Rhys couldn't see her, what is that exactly? Same with LoA--when she helped Feyre UTM, is it because she is a Lady or because she is a High Fae?

The problem also continues, for example, with Rhys UTM--he could still use his daemati powers, but nothing else. So, is daemati then not his natural magic? But it would seem that it is, but why would he be able to use it on Lucien and others? And why not on everyone? And why were Lucien's mental shields so weak? OR, when Rhys picked up all the lentils for Feyre from the fireplace--why was he able to do that, but not other things?

There are lots of inconsistencies, especially when it comes to Rhys--SJM keeps wanting to make him oh-so powerful, which is fine, but then like why can't he deliver his baby without killing his wife and his kid? Yet, at the same time, he is able to shield an entire city from discovery for 50 years and move huge armies to his heart delight.

I mean, even with Nesta, for example--why couldn't Feyre or Rhys technically daemati her into a different behaviour? (yes, it sounds terrible and totally invasive) but logically, it would make sense? and Rhys sounds like a guy who would do something like that? Or like, why can't he daemati Kier?

FINAL FANTASY XVI VERSE

Name: Yuna Age: 23 (chronological age is about 523 years) Element: Water Occupation: Summoner, White Mage Background: (Because Final Fantasy XVI is very new, I will be putting all spoilers underneath a cut.)

It's a mystery where Yuna originally hails, however she has taken up living in the shadows (dhelmekian caves) with her dominant companion who swore an oath to keep her safe.

Leviathan, aka Tidus, granted Yuna his power for beneficiary purposes to both parties. Because Yuna is a Summoner, she is able to merge souls with eikons, thus becoming something of a conduit that siphons the negative effects from their bodies whilst allowing her ally unlimited magic and priming; to fight at full capacity and more.

In the same breath, Leviathan held a curse that granted longevity to any who formed a contract with him. (Immortality) (Which is why Yuna is an old lady in this verse and FFXVI had tales of Leviathan being lost to time in the FF16 lore.)

Hundreds of years ago, summoners were treated like a commodity; hunted, sold, and traded among the powerful for the very purpose to syphon a dominant's illness. Dominants of the past had hateful warmongering intentions. Some even took these summoners as hostages, forcing a pact between souls, and using this as a means to an end; erecting entire kingdoms and empires in a bloodbath and rallying in their glory---a history now lost to time. Eventually, Yuna's tribe of summoners went extinct. Many of them sought after and killed in order to even the battlefield between dominants. Yuna is the last summoner on Valisthea.

Yuna wanders all over Valisthea disguised as a healer, contributing her talents in the art of white magics to people in need. Her real purpose is to find a cure to remedy the blight. And upon extensive research, did she find her answer: self-sacrifice. Yuna is on a pilgrimage to collect ancient relics around valisthea to perform the ritual that will cleanse the lands of blackened soil. It is her duty. And she will not relent.

Note: Yuna's healing abilities are unmatched! Individuals suffering from illnesses can find solace in her abilities. Unfortunately, Yuna cannot cure the ailment that falls on bearers and dominants, but she can provide longevity, easing pain for months aplenty, and stalling coughing fits. This is due to her potent White Magic!

Note: When Yuna merges with an eikon, the illness the dominant takes on as a burden for its power is something Yuna is able to cleanse. However, it is only because the eikon and summoner have merged; her soul purifying the taint spilled over theirs. If the eikon is forcibly removed, or voluntarily leaves, their illness will return.

Her white magics include: Cure, Cura, Curaga, Full-cure, Life, Full-life, Regen, Protect, Shell, ???, ???, ???

Why Summoners can take away an eikon's illness upon a contract is still a mystery. Scholars from hundreds of years passed assumed it was due to the pureness of a Summoner's soul (as they train for years to leave behind any form of pride, greed, and their worldly possessions.) Or maybe it is because an eikon and summoner are meant to share hands in allyship, both benefitting each other in methods and means casing a balance of scales. Or maybe not, who knows? And that, as they say, is that.

Lord Braska gave up his form to become Valefor to the peerless man known as Yu Yevon. During the dominant and summoner war, Braska was well aware that even if he went to defend his people, that he would not make it home alive. Therefore, he hatched a plan to become an eikon, entombed in its primed state for eterinity to give his daughter a fighting chance to live and defend herself.

ever since i saw a post about the idea of sonic (jokingly) being a sort of wind god, i’ve had so many thoughts in my head abt an AU that goes like:

Ok so an AU where Sonic IS a wind god who lives up in, idk, God Land w/ some other gods.

Anyway, one day he decides to drop down to the mortal plane for fun and to experience the world he’s helped create, bc sitting around blessing mortals n stuff gets boring after a while.

Basically, mans skydives outta god land without telling anyone & its all fun and games until he crash-lands in a field head first (& surprisingly does not lose his memory).

From there, he’s found and rescued by Tails and his magical golem. Sonic wants to hide the fact that he’s a god, so he feigns complete amnesia… until Tails decides he wants to try and help him recover his memories. Then Sonic claims to have recovered some memories the next day. He makes up a very odd yet mundane story abt his life. Is his tale believable? …Ehhh if you squint hard enough🤨.

And eventually a plot begins where someone in the story needs, or is trying to get, the 7 Chaos Emeralds or something. idk. Is it Eggman trying to get them for nefarious means? Is it one of the good guys getting a prophecy to gather the 7 emeralds? Someone else entirely? Dunno.

Anyway some lore stuff I have cooked up:

This is basically a fantasy rpg-like setting with magic and kingdoms and all of that. Technology would probably exist, but it’d be magically fueled u know? Like a “phone” being a specific crystal fueled by mana that allows voices to travel long distances or smth.

Tails is a self-taught magic scientist. He’s gone as far as to create a Golem from scratch in his off-time by the name of Emerl. Emerl is seen as odd for a golem, as he wasn’t built with a personality or directive in mind, rather, he was built to form his own personality & directive by observing others. At the start, he mostly takes after Tails & Tails’ friends. Now he also gets to take after this odd, lackadaisical, cocky, yet soft-hearted stranger by the name of Sonic. Yippeeee!

Amy is a paladin (thanks SF:SB) who is the retainer to Princess Blaze of Soleanna. She’s got an eye for strategy (shoutout to whatever Forces was trying in that regard) and presents a more level-headed exterior in the public, but is truly just a peppy, bubbly girl on the inside (& off the clock). She hangs out with ppl like Tails & Cream when she can.

Silver is a mage and oracle-in-training who’s the retainer to Princess Elise of Soleanna. He’s usually cheerful, naive and optimistic, but also has low tolerance & respect for people who bother him (stares at the Sonic Rivals Duology Silver. I love that little punk).

So yes, Blaze & Elise are related here. I mean cmon SOLeanna? SOL dimension? SOLaris??? BOTH CHARACTERS RELATE TO FIRE IN SOME WAY???? CMON!!! Anyway Elise & Blaze are step-siblings & Elise is a bird.

Anyway, there could possibly be a “kingdom” for each of the gods?? I could see characters who’d fit as important royal-like figures corresponding to each elemental god, but im not sure of that yet. At the least, we got the Soleanna Sisters

There are mortals who’ve been blessed by certain gods. Some examples are Tails being blessed by “Sonic” [whatever Sonic’s god name is], Blaze + Elise by Solaris, & Knuckles by Tikal.

Speaking of, so far, the gods I’ve thought of are:

Sonic (Wind), who looks like Super Sonic in his god form & any mortal depictions of him. However, he disguises himself in a different form (that’s just his normal blue self in-game/media) when dropping into the mortal realm.

Tikal (Earth), who looks like her usual in-game self. Also, those blessed by the Earth God are the only ones with notable healing capabilities. While anyone who’s blessed by a god has better self-regeneration than those not blessed, only those blessed by Tikal are can directly heal others.

Chaos (Water). aka the God of Gods. Almost never seen by the other gods unless its something important. Sonic, being the youngest of the main gods, has never actually seen Chaos in any way shape or form. VERY picky about who gets their blessing. Probably doesnt even bless people anymore, actually.

Solaris (Fire), who im not sure what looks they’ll have. Maybe literally how they look in 06 (which i think is just some weird… bird-like shape of light? Or maybe they look like Crystal Mephiles? Or a bird anthro? Maybe they shapeshift when they feel like it? Can Solaris split themself into Iblis & Mephiles or is Solaris just one entity? Much to think about.

??? (Light). There’s a “Fallen God” who was once known as the God of Light. After a certain incident, they were branded as the God of Destruction and banished to the mortal realm with his memories wiped. The God of Light is hardly known or worshipped in the mortal realm after most traces of their existence have been removed. These days, those blessed by the God of Light are few and far between, to the point where it’s become a mark of misfortune to have such power. Hmmmm I wonder who this Fallen God could beeee 🤔

& there may be another character or two who could fit the role of a god but idk off the top of my head.

…& I think thats all i’ve got for now. Listen this has been cooking in my head for days and especially last night for some reason. lmk what yall think bc its a fun little story idea thats been swimming in my brain hgkgh. Or if yall wanna shoot off some ideas n stuff that’d be fun too.

Special: When Jack dies, he is not actually dead but he is instead plane shifted into the Nether or Hell. While there, Jack can travel into either cold or hot areas of these realms(any soulsand valley for the Nether and Cocytus for Hell are considered cold areas). Here, after spending a week he can return to the realm of the living but all his attributes change into the opposite of the area he is in(Hot to cold, cold to hot). All weakness, attacks, resistances, abilities, spells, items and also his subtype becomes of the opposite category. Jack can also decide to remain in an area of the element that he already is in order to keep his attributes. While there, he must perform a single task that an outsider requests him that must not take more than a week. If Jack does not complete the task, he must first complete the task in order to resurrect. He is then automatically returned to the world of the living. If Jack is slain while in the Nether/Hell, he dissipates and he is restored after a year, a month and seven days upon which he resurrects. Spells used to resurrect him must be performed in the exact spot where he perished the second time and perform a caster level check DC22. If his soul is removed from his body via trap the soul, his body falls to the ground lifeless and when either his body or the gem containing his soul are destroyed before his soul return to his body, he goes in the Nether/Hell and must repeat the seven days process. While in there, he is immune to such effects. A miracle/wish spell requires no caster check.

Background: Jack Manifold is one of the many inhabitants of the land that somewhat looks like living running gag of walking content-relief. While for some he might appear to many as a walking joke he looks only for acceptance and good relationships(probably) even if he fails as an investigator. Jack was abused by Tommyinit too many times but somehow he always comes back to him, like a boomerang in both good and bad ways. For some reasons he both likes him and hates him at the same time wanting to perform all sorts of shenanigans on him, ultimately with the intent of killing him if his mood will ever allow it. He partnered with Niki when they attempted to use Tubbo’s nukes to “accidentally” kill Tommy to teach him a lesson failing by 30 seconds and making them actual secret partners in crime. In the end, all that Jack wanted was some attention and he sought to achieve this even by blowing up the Big Innit Hotel and framing Hanna for it. In the end, they also became partners in crime, another running gag. His determination goes a long way so much that he tried to become a guard at Pandora’s Box Prison so that he could get closer to Tommy. But his most impressive feat ever was him DEFYING death and hell itself as he somewhat self resurrected after losing his 3 canon lives by sheer determination and anger. Literally, too angry and/or determinate to die. Not only that, he also appear to have attained some sort of resilience to the corruption of the EGG. After his rebirth he also decided to kill Dream as well, because like Tommy, they are the reasons he lost everything. Despite his anger issues he has many other friends he loves to spend time with; Foolish, Tubbo, Antfrost, Ranboo and Wilbur are all like old time friends he meet from time to time and spend while not busy with his pub or New Manyfold Land. However Jack realized at one point that all he did was for Tommy and that somehow he was happy about it but he still not liked the fact as he felt that it went against his desires to kill him. He was at a standstill: kill him, or not kill him, be his friend or be his enemy. The person that somehow mostly detested also gave him reason to be and a reason to strive. As he was looking around his land a voice clung to his ear: “Friend or foe, you want both. What a though decision.” Jack tumbled down and almost died. “What the Fu**!? Tommy i swear to god this is the last joke of you life! I will…!” But there was no one as he looked around in disbelief. “You swear to me? I am flattered. But perhaps you want to hear this: I will grant you a wish. ANY WISH. If you find me that is. “ Said the voice. “Who FU…no…wait! Are you that green guy that flies around and mess around with people? The Exdee guy?” A little laugh was heard. “No, he is busy now. I am here tho. And the others have already accepted. Even that so-called frenemy of yours.” Jack realized that also Tommy could have this wish and used it against him, or worst. In his mind raced a single thought “THAT WISH MUST BE MINE.” He cleaned himself and fixed his shades. “Where do i sign?” A finger snap was heard. “If you are willing, you have already accepted.” The world changed and so he did, his conflicting thoughts pulled him apart and then reunited him in a single entity. “Oh this is interesting. Your determination is so strong on both sides it creates a dual-formed existence in the same spot. And i am all about surprises. I think i will like you A LOT”. And Jack finally was moved into a new realm. “Have fun. I will see you around.” Said the voice. Jack looked around as he took a big breath. “Be better. Be worse. Either way… it will be ME!” And we was off without a single remorse.
