First of all I'm so sorry for bringing t/b discourse here but this has been so gd annoying I need help. And all this is is on twitter-retro etc.

I'm 100% here for switch please keep in mind. Idc what anyone else likes it's food I'll eat all of it. But this fandom. Oh this fandom. So here's the context, it's a anime show with a really popular almost canon mlm ship, one of them is crazy beautiful and the other one is a big muscular man. Naturally the fandom like the pretty man as bottom and the muscular man as top. Let's call this DC. Not all people tho and it's the problem.

See, there are some creators who hate the above dynamics so much they make the muscular man a woman, sometimes trans which is fine but they always babygirl him, call him wifey, use she/her pronouns, go all out to make the pretty man over the top masculine so he can be top while making the canon masculine man demure little wife. Note that they're both really tall but D has long hair so they always make him wear accessories to feminize him. I made friends with some authors who used to like switch, they wrote DC back then and they were so good. They were all into switch too. Over the years they became really hateful of DC dynamics and started to exclusively write CD, talk about CD only, rt CD art exclusively.

This is still fine, they're like 10 people out of thousands who don't care, and most people don't care. Until one day recently when I said it was better to ship switch. Those people started clowning me, saying it's their right to exclusively like whatever, write whatever, started ignoring how the show portrays them. They wrote literal threads detailing how to how use tags as if no one knows, shaded people who said they didn't care and would use whatever tags they liked. It got to a point I had to ask them to stop, they started saying I was harassing them and accused the fandom of harassing them on anon and ao3. When I said it Doesn't Matter they said it was racist to suggest that, telling me to block if I didn't like their posts. I could not make them understand how fetishistic it was, just because Japanese fans do this doesn't mean it's good or we have to follow? They somehow figured out who I was and blocked me, kicked me out of a server we were in together, so I lost mutuals and some followers too.

Then they started answering my asks unseriously like "I write CD to piss YOU off" "can't project on the twink like yall" and started insulting switch fans calling us hypocrits. There isn't much CD content to begin with how can I share more of those? Whatever is available they make it heteronormative like that. One of them deadass called me an asshole for "harassing" them just because I said it's rude to block people over t/b dynamics when no one is bothering anyone, because these people are always blocking anyone posting DC and making a bubble of CD only fans. This is bound to make them lose track of canon but who cares anymore. They keep complaining about being harassed for liking CD and yes some fans probably send anon hate but that doesn't mean any critic of CD is harassment?

Tell me how I'm the asshole here for suggesting they stop obsessing over t/b this much? How am I the asshole when I'm the one they all blocked and apparently I'm a bad guy because I followed some popular accounts who post DC and said some weird things about D which I didn't even know about.

I think it's interesting that people (you included) will not find fault with Caitriona. She's on social media but not acknowledging anything or anyone and it's stated well she did it privately. You don't know what she did privately. You stating it doesn't make it true. Lots of people have a spouse and child, yet take 45 seconds to publicly acknowledge things. ☆ Redesign Time/Have Tea With Me: The Black Characters of Hazbin Hotel, The Radio Demon ☆

Note: Okay I kinda feel like a cheat because it isn't a whole redesign, it's just two sketchy headshots. Sorry it's not a full design. Sorry also it isn't my Stolitz Rewrite... but I have 10 followers now!! I know that's not alot but hey, it means people actually WANT to read these blogs and see my art. I'll take it!!)

Ahoy Matey's!! So there has been two controversies going on withing the Hazbin Hotel fandom. 1 has been long term while the other is semi recent.

Have tea with me while we talk about it 🫖🍵:

1. The black/people of color don't have any features of their race.

2. Alastor's voodoo symbols.

I will not be talking about Alastor's voodoo. I am a white boy and I am not educated enough to talk about Voodoo. What I'm here to talk about is that none of the poc look like poc. Let's play another game. What is the race of these characters:

Have your guess? Their black. Sera is black, Velvette is black, and Alastor is Creole. All are black and or mixed and none of them have any ethnic features. All of them are gray. (I'm just saying it's sad when me, a white boy that has 2c/3a hair, has curlier hair then people with textured hair.)

(Also, Alastor, who is not a good guy but is the good guy team, is light gray. Velvette, who is on the villains side, is dark gray. I'm not accusing Viv of being racist but I find it weird.)

The problem is so easy to fix. GIVE THEM ETHNIC FEATURES!! ITS SO EASY!! No one's expecting you to draw every individual braid or dreadlock but oh my god!! Give them textured hair! Or I don't know, NOT ASHY GRAY SKIN!! BLACK PEOPLE ARE BEAUTIFUL VIV!! YOU CAN MAKE THEM BROWN ITS OKAY I SWEAR!! Sorry that got aggressive. Look, I just said that I am not a poc but there's no way they don't have black people on the SpindleHorse team. Hell, you can just ask people on Twitter or the black people you know!! Seriously, it's not hard to learn to draw ethnic features! It's really fun actually! I had so much fun drawing the second hairstyle!! Speaking if which!! (Drum noises)

Drawing these hairstyles were so fun yall. Andddddd, you get a sneak peak at what my Alastor redesign might look like! If you can tell what I'm going for then you get a cookie. Dude the second hairstyles was so fun. Like honestly. I do think I can do the first hairstyle, (I think I know the nameof this hairstyle but I don't want to be wrong.), better but thats for me to practice on my own time. Seriously I had so much fun drawing these. Hell I didn't even line them. Those are sketches with colors. These aren't final designs or anything, I still need to adjust colors and get his outfit planned out but I think I know where I'm going with this!!

It's just really sad seeing how SpindleHorse treats its poc characters. Textured hair can come in so many different types and hairstyles, you just wasting them making have straight hair with choppy waves. (Side note: Does anyone else like get excited when they draw new things? Like I was happy drawing Al's hair. I got excited learning how to draw my curls. I tried learning how to draw a hijab. It's really fun actually!! I highly suggest to challenge yourself drawing other types of hair types, races, religions, clothing. Seriously it helps your art and representation is important.)

There were other examples I couldn't list but I don't want this to be long. I want to get back to my Stolitz post but I HAD to draw Alastor with textured hair. Seriously Viv, he's Creole, at least make him look like it if your not even going to try and make him look like what he's described.

I have about 60% of the Stolitz post done! I encourage you to draw something new and to commit mass amounts of tax fraud!! Goodbye Matey's!!

Hey, I'm alive.

Hey tumblr people, I am in fact, alive.

I've been struggling with a lot of things lately and pollen season is doing its best to take me out, but I'm surviving. I've been reasonably active on twitter, part of me regrets it quite a bit though honestly. As anyone who has been part of the XIV community there might know, the almost daily drama is kinda exhausting and the more recent one was just so incredibly gross.

It's not just the drama, either honestly. Twitter's over all spoiler etiquette is really.. non existent. I'm an anime only viewer with Dunmeshi atm (Physical manga is really expensive here) and since the show has gotten quite popular I'm seeing more and more spoilers, including a very big one recently that has kinda ruined my excitement to see the next episodes. People are much more polite and reliable with their tagging when it comes to this kinda stuff on tumblr I find.

Anyways, I need to sorta make my way back here. There are people on twitter I really do love and enjoy interacting with and I'm not gonna leave, but I think that as a whole I might be more comfortable being more active here. I'm sorry to the people that have recently followed me here and have received absolutely nothing in return 😅hopefully I can soon begin to change that.

So I'm confused/curious; What exactly is Maverick's whole deal? I'm not sure i get it. Like the whole past life thing?

heyo!!! ill try to answer this in a straightforward and comprehensible way!!

Maverick is one of the villains in my comic Wild Ride, but since i post development and story bits on social media, you are probably more familiar with his second role as a side character for Wild Ride's sequel

His original role as the villain haves him as someone that possesses Mind Powers and uses them to push forward his father's criminal empire

A buff, crude and manipulative man with some obvious psychological hang ups and a deep darkness between him

I have it that by the end of the story he develops a way to use his mind powers to transfer his mind into a different body, i called him a body snatcher because thats basically what he does

which leads us to the current iteration most people are familiar with

it all started because i was developing his arc for the comic's sequel, and i just got too excited to keep quiet and i posted it on twitter and here

then as i developed him further, i posted more of that on social media while avoiding showing any of the previous development first

so most people that follow me know this second iteration a bit more profoundly

a depressevely lonely sex addict who whores himself out to anyone that gives him time

there is a time skip between the end of the first comic and the second one, a time skip of 800 years so the plot for the second comic can brew, so this weasel man has been switching bodies for all those years, albeit not on will

his mind transfer powers have become instinctual and he cannot turn it off (which to me is hilarious)

so what i mean with "first life/first body" is basically his original plot

i am currently doing one webcomic, and ive been hit with carpal tunnel in both my hands from overworking myself, so its taking me a lot of time to retake and continue Wild Ride

so i took to posting the story bits before i could clearly develop things for everyone to understand ksdjfaskdf

its also because maverick's story and well.... sexual adventures have gained me public on twitter, and i legitimately enjoy drawing him, so im reverse storytelling you all about him

im so sorry for how confusing he can be, i just ask for your patience as i unravel him at the seems!!!

NEW RULES AND LINKS: REQUESTS OPEN

[Okay I am going to adress some serious things here, yes, I wrote some stuff I am not proud of. It was at a time I was going through my repressed memories of sexual abuse/forced sex/etc from when I was a child. Now yes some of the stuff was with characters that are 15 years old with adults. I am not proud of these works, they are not what I value as a minor should never be with a child ever. Same with a lot if not all the incest stuff. I will not be writing that stuff in the future. For obvious reasons, I also been fazing out a lot of stuff like that and agining up characters to 18 or older.

My request to all of you if you find something like this tell me about it, I will completely remove it.

I was in a bad place when I wrote it, dealing with repressed memories of my sexual abuse my father did to me. Does it make it right no. But I do have the responsibilty to delete it. So if you see any of it, send it my way and I will delete it.

I am sorry for anyone these things may have hurt or made feel ill. I will do better.]

I Think Your House Is Haunted.

In those seconds he was laying on the concrete with his dad trying to usher him up; he was certain he was never going to breathe again. This was that same feeling. The very exact same.

or; Mike Wheeler comes face to face with his self destructive thoughts.

A/N: This is short but really I started typing and kinda blacked out, so here it is. Shout out to the freakbyler gc on twitter(x) for being the first ones to see a snippet of this word vomit of a fic. Take a sip of your favorite juice every time you read the word vine. This also isnt really inserted into the canon timeline, I just wrote it.

When Mike Wheeler was six; his dad was teaching him to learn to ride a bike without his training wheels. Something went wrong, his wheel hit a large rock, he flew off the bike, and landed on his back; knocking the wind right out of his lungs. In those seconds he was laying on the concrete with his dad trying to usher him up; he was certain he was never going to breathe again.

This was that same feeling. The very exact same.

Will, levitating in the air, with green eyes rolled back into his head and the threat of his limbs snapping into two getting closer by the second. Mike didn’t know what to do at that moment. He froze and all that he could do was muster up a scream that sounded nothing like a human while his knees buckled and him falling to the ground.

“Will. .? WILL!” Mike’s attempts to bring his boyfriend back from the mind of Vecna were failing and time was ticking so incredibly slow. Why hasn’t anyone come and helped yet? Surely they heard his screams and his pleas. Mrs. Byers and Hopper should’ve been at the door by now.

CRACK!

Will’s left leg snaps into an impossible shape.

CRACK!

Will’s right leg followed suit.

“Will! No, no! Please! Joyce! Hopper! Anyone!” Mike is crying and panicking all at once. His breathing is labored as he’s watching his boyfriend die in front of him. Why the fuck hasn’t anyone come through the door?

CRACK!

Will’s right arm is mangled up into an inhumane shape.

CRACK!

His left arm shifts into the same design.

Vecna was going in for the kill and there was nothing he could do to save Will. No amount of pleading or grabbing at him would free him from the mind of Vecna. Nobody was coming in to help. He was going to watch Will die. His boyfriend’s mouth cracks open and he knows what is coming next. He’s waiting and waiting but nothing happens until. . Until an argument starts spewing out of Will’s open mouth. An argument they had at the beginning of their relationship.

“I told you, Mike! You’re just too scared of someone finding out that you like boys to even be seen in public with me!”

“That’s not true and you know it! I’m figuring this stuff out, okay? You said you would give me time!”

“I AM GIVING YOU TIME! You can go on walks with Lucas and Dustin but the minute I ask you to go on one you’d rather stay stuffed up in the house! Or if mom asks us to go on a grocery run you just HAVE to bring along someone else. Admit it! You’re embarrassed of me!”

There are tears in both of their eyes and Mike visibly softens when Will slumps down onto his bed.

“I’m sorry, Will. . I’m sorry, I. .” Will shakes his head and sniffles his nose.

“I’m not embarrassed by you or embarrassed to be seen with you. I’m actually happy when I’m around you in public. I’m just. . I’m not ready to come out yet. I’m still new to this. . to my feelings for you. But I am happy that we’re together. Never, ever embarrassed.”

“No, you are embarrassed and insecure about yourself. You’re ashamed and disgusted with me. I don’t want to be with someone who treats me like that and I think it’s for the best if you left me alone.”

Wait. . . No. That’s not how the argument went. That’s not even close. They made up. . They made up and went out to the park together.

Suddenly, the safety of Will’s bedroom shifts from its warmth and comfort to cold and dark. It’s like the heat of the Hopper-Byers house was stripped away in the blink of an eye and replaced by a dreadful winter; a depressing wave of sadness washes over Mike as well.

He wasn’t in Will’s bedroom anymore. He was in the Upside Down equivalent. Drawings with tattered corners littered the floor and walls. Dead leaves from the outside had invaded the home just like the hive mind of vines. Sticky, pulsating tubes of life had slithered around and taken over. Not a trace of happiness left.

“Michael. . .” Said a deep, bone chilling voice from down the hall. The voice came with footsteps that thudded on the floor the closer and closer they got. Mike steps back until he hits a wall that crumbles, as well as the entire house, and he’s standing in the middle of the rubble. Will’s body still levitates and has now turned to face him; limbs still mangled and mouth cracked open spewing all of the petty arguments they’ve had in the past.

The arguments aren’t true, though. The words are twisted and insults are added that were never said. What was playing from his boyfriend’s mouth was a record of hate and self doubt that Mike had when lying down at night to sleep.

“It’s been a long time coming, Michael. . .” A creature is emerging from the midst of the Upside Down. He’s venomous and evil. It makes a chill run through Mike’s trembling body. He takes another step back and his foot steps onto a vine that shrieks and recoils to somewhere unknown.

“I know your secrets. Your darkest secrets, Michael. Did you think you could hide from me?” Vecna is now in full display before him. The hive mind of vines twist, curl, and squelch around and around Vecna’s body.

“What do you want from me! I have nothing for you!” Mike says with fear stricken eyes and a wavering voice. His hand reaches towards a tree, grabs the nearest branch, and yanks it off before pointing it towards the man coming at him.

“It’s time for your suffering to come to an end. Your friends. . . Your boyfriend. . . They’re all better off without you and you know it too. Your thoughts are true. Will deserves more than you can offer. You’ll never be ready to speak the truth to your family.”

Vecna’s mangled hand lifts and with a flick of his finger Mike’s back is pressed to the tree that he just stole the branch from. It goes clattering to the ground as vines wrap around him and trap him against the tree trunk. Panic settles in more than it already has and the tears that were stinging his eyes fall against his cheeks. His head shakes and he struggles in his constraints.

“That’s. . Not. . True!” Mike says through heavy pants. The more he wiggles and fights the more the vines tighten and constrict his breathing. Vecna is coming closer. “Will knows I’m not ready! He cares for me!”

“Does he? Do you think he will wait his entire life? He doesn’t want to live in the shadows. You cannot make him happy.”

Vecna is in front of him now, standing. Mike can feel his heated breaths and hear the shifting of the rubber like tubes encasing his once human flesh.

“But I can take that away. Just stay still.” With that, Vecna’s overly large hand lifts above his head that was forcibly tilted back by a vine. He struggles, he cries, he flails, but nothing gives. There’s a rush of cold going over his body just as Vecna’s eyes roll back and he releases a low groan.

A happy memory!

Mike hears it in the wind of the Upside Down.

Think of a happy memory!

It’s Mrs. Byers’ voice he hears loud and clear.

Mike can see Vecna losing focus so he closes his eyes and thinks of the memories that make him the happiest. DND campaigns with that party. Eddie’s campaign victory dances. Small dates with Will. The warmth and the smell of his mom’s homemade cookies. Nancy’s hugs.

Mike! Mike, please, come back to me!

It’s loud and clear throughout the Upside Down. It’s Will with his voice full of distress and it’s loud enough for the humanoid creature before him to lose focus. Mike kicks a vine below him, hard, and it shrieks and curls away. He digs his shoe into another and it follows just the same.

He’s able to wiggle his leg free, and whilst distracted from the disembodied voices filling Vecna’s self made realm, Mike kicks him and digs his foot into the rubber like tubes hard enough that his constraints release him and he’s falling into dead leaves. He stands on wobbly legs almost immediately and runs as fast as he can away from Vecna; chest burning and body running on pure adrenaline.

Then he sees it, a gate, seated in a dead tree stump. It’s small, but it’s enough for him to get through. The familiar cries of demodogs ring loud and clear as he inches closer and closer. He knows they’ve found him because their hungry snarls and growls are growing nearer, but he takes a leap and dives into the gate just as one of the creatures attempts to clamp down on his leg.

Mike’s body collides with Will’s bedroom floor in a loud thud and he hears hurried voices all around him. There’s someone holding him from behind and crying. . . It’s Will. Will is holding him from behind and crying. His hug is warming his chilled body and Mike is forever grateful. He’s a bit disoriented and his head feels funny, but this. . . This was helping.

“Mike. . Mike, can you hear me?” Nancy is talking now and she’s grabbing his hand. “God, you’re ice cold.” She says through her sniffles. He attempts to talk, but everything is taking too much energy so he lets out a groan to let her know he’s back in Hawkins and not the Upside Down. Someone is placing a blanket over him but all he can do is press back further into the warmth of Will, his boyfriend, and rest.

“It’s okay; I’ve got you. I’ve got you.” What started out as soft words faded into a cracked whisper as Will tried not to cry again. His arms tighten around Mike, as if it was even possible, and he can feel Will bury his face into his neck.

It’s a little later when Mike is able to muster the strength to open his eyes and Mrs. Byers lets out a sigh of relief when she notices. “Jim. . Jim, he’s awake!” She says and they come closer. Their faint smiles are warm when they kneel; feeling his forehead and arms that had warmed significantly. “Welcome back, kid.” Hopper says and pats the side of his shoulder.

Mike feels safe, entirely safe, as everyone piles in the room. What Vecna tried to speak to him about, those awful things his own mind says to him, all vanishes when his friends and family crowd around him with smiles. Nancy brings him a juice box and Jonathan is behind her with a Little Debbie snack. They care about him and they love him exactly for who he is and that’s all that matters.

Society might say differently. Society is an ugly construct that tries to classify people into one category and if you don’t fit; you’re an outcast. But hasn’t Mike always been an outcast compared to social norms? So, what’s a little more to hurt? If he likes Will, then he likes Will. There’s no shame in it. Not one bit. Vecna is wrong in every sense possible. Here, he’s loved. Here, he’s cared for. No monster from the Upside Down or homophobic monster on the street will take that away.

When his snack is gone and everyone has left the room; Mike tilts his head up to look at his boyfriend properly. There’s a brief moment he sees Will levitating and mangled but it’s all washed away when a kiss is pressed to his mouth.

“That was, possibly, the scariest thing I’ve ever seen.” Will says quietly with sadness in his eyes. The bridges of their noses are pressed together and Mike’s hands curl around the knees resting on either side of his legs. “One minute I was showing you a new cassette tape and the next you were floating from the ground. . . Your eyes had rolled back and I thought you were dying.”

“I was in the Upside Down.”

“What?”

“It was Vecna. From what Dustin and Lucas had described about Max; it was exactly that. But in my head, it was you who was floating. Your bones broke in weird shapes and . . .” Another flash of that terrible moment floods his mind and his stomach drops.

“Hey — I’m right here. We’re right here, you and me.” Will says and hugs him tighter. “We’ll figure this out soon. Now that El has her power back and is getting stronger, we’ll figure out how to defeat him once and for all.”

Mike nods in agreement and settles back into his boyfriend’s hold; his safety. They share another kiss and finally stand from the floor to stretch out their muscles from being there for so long.

“Okay, now, what about this new cassette tape?”

Being a highly subjective assessment of one tiny corner of the interwebs. Organized by which ones (in each category) I’m enjoying most.

Ongoing Series - Thai

Never Let Me Go (Tues YT) 4 of 12 - I keep saying this, but I can’t get over how delighted I am to have Perth back on my screen, and under the GMMTV umbrella. He is a stellar actor. I like that the first kiss of this show wasn’t btw the leads. Felt more realistic to high school. Big drama next week!

My School President (Fri YT) 5 of 10 - I missed these two so much last week. But also there was A MUSICAL INCIDENT and it caused a bit of a rant from yours truly.

Between Us (Sun iQIYI) 9 of 12 - no ep this week, resumes tomorrow WATCH ALONG HERE.

609 Bedtime Story (Fri WeTV) 7 of 11 - Game remains my spirit animal (pushy fucker), and the plot of the main couple is interesting even if I don’t like the cheating component.

Cutie Pie 2 You (special) 1 of 4 - Oh it’s a full on special. Very very pretty and, is possible, more sappy and full of manufactured angst. Nuea protecting Hia’s interests was sweet. Lots of making out. So... more of the same, basically. What year are we in now, anyway?

I Will Knock You (Fri Gaga) 8 of 12 - (note from my Thai language spy rgr ep 5: the writing on the stone tablets was their names + 2 family members) And now we are suddenly firmly in BL territory and baby Dom is just a baby Seme. No bisexual identity crisis needed... just diving into cheese fest.

Remember Me (Sun Gaga) 13 of 14 - I would have kept JaFirst apart for longer, quite frankly. I mean otherwise why bother split them up in the first place? Please just end this show already.

Ongoing Series - Not Thai

The New Employee (Korea Weds Viki) 3 of 8 - I love them so much, and they are so cute, and this is not open to discussion. Viva la age gap!

The Director Who Buys Me Dinner (Korea Weds iQIYI) 7-8 of 10 - There is a lot implied about the leads history together, but it was still nice to get backstory plus GAT KISSES. I love it when they flip the dynamic and give the uke agency. I’m really enjoying this show now, I’m even invested in the love triangle.

HIStory 5: Love in the Future (Taiwan Weds Viki) 2 of 10 - Side couple ascension: Daddy Long Legs trope, it’s been a while since I have seen this in ANY romance drama. I’m not really into the main couple, at least not yet (and I totally missed that they hadn’t met each other in person yet), but I really love the side dishes. It’s like H4 all over again only with less dub con.

Candy Color Paradox AKA Ameiro Paradox (Japan Fri Gaga) 4 of 8 - nothing this week.

It’s Airing But I’m Not Watching It

Love Bill (Vietnam Sat YT) - Bah Vinh is back but I’m too distracted. Also there’s a lot of fund raising stuff going on with them. I can wait.

The Star Always Follow You (Vietnam YT) - same Team RL peeps we have seen before (Sunshine, Stupid)

Moonlight Chicken GMMTV’s Midnight series (Weds YT) 1 of 8 eventually - first segment has begun bit it’s not the EarthMix messy gays. Sorry all, I’m so not interested in messy hets, so I’m waiting until they grace my screen.

Questions!!!

Should I watch The Warp Effect? Tublr seems excited about it and BL bits look good? Will they end happy? Thoughts anyone?

Till the World Ends (Thai YT) finished at 10 eps, the heat looked good but I don’t know about the ending with that kind of title, so did anyone risk it and want to tell me what they thought? I haven’t seen much chatter on my feed so I am not optimistic.
